Hotels with Jacuzzi in Room in Alassio

The Hotel was superb and we were upgraded to a very large suite with a balcony. The main complaint was with the available menus and breakfast. On arriving for breakfast you had a table with a mat and knife and fork per person. No cups, saucers nor condiments were available. On asking for tea with milk it usually arrived after fifteen to twenty minutes- one pot of hot water, one tea bag per person and a jug of milk.How difficult is it to fill a pot with hot water? and cups; saucers and milk could be made available when a table is initially occupied. The Buffet was adequate; but not as good as other five star hotels. The staff did not attend to replenishing dishes when they were depleted. The scrambled egg dish was usually empty and dried out and I watched for twenty minutes one morning until someone summoned a waiter to get it replenished. We did not have lunch in the Restaurants as we could not find a menu anywhere; other than the Restaurant on the Beach which was small; served exquisite food e.g caviar and even more exquisite prices. We had lunch at nearby restaurants on the beach at a fraction of the price. The evening meal, other than having lunch on the Beach at the "de-Luxe" restaurant appeared to be a Pizza Restaurant, in a smart setting, open to the Public to walk-in with no other food options. We did not see alternative menus anywhere. As my wife is Gluten-free this did not suit us and we again eat out every night at Superb local Restaurants. I would return.

What a glorious surprise Alassio and the gorgeous Grand Hotel Alassio Beach & Spa Resort are! I have visited Italy 8 times over the past 30 years and I had never heard of Alassio but visited this gorgeous town after being recommended by a colleague....I am so very glad that I did visit and stayed here recently for 1 night - I wished I had stayed 3 or 4 nights as the hotel is a gem! I had an Ocean-Facing room and the view was fabulous! The hotel has direct beach access and its own beach club....this is a white sand beach and is about the best beach we saw in the region! The rooms are tastefully furnished and the beds were super comfy. We visited the magnificent spa and had a wonderful massage (thank you Davide!) and then participated in a spa/sauna ritual which had around 20 participants - again, very enjoyable and relaxing. The food was superb at the hotel – we enjoyed a sumptuous breakfast & lunch. The staff in the restaurant were so lovely and helpful and it was one of the best buffet breakfasts that I have enjoyed in Italy. Our interaction with all staff was nothing short of outstanding - special mention to Dario, Alex and Andrea for your attention to detail and approach to service....this hotel is in safe hands with a team like you we will return once again!

We loved the view from our room. We loved our terrace. The breakfast buffet was the very best we have encountered on this trip (and we have stayed at high-end hotels). There was a huge selection of delicious foods, beautifully displayed, with attentive service for coffee orders. We enjoyed the “Medical Spa,” The fitness room was well-equipped. Our room was small, but the layout makes good use of the space (with built-in shelves and drawers). There was no electrical outlet near the bed, so we had to live with a long extension cord (cheerfully provided and taped in place by the bellman) in order to have power for a CPAP machine. Go for a terrace room if you can! Our terrace was our outdoor living room.

Amazing staff and unique location in Italy. One of the best hotels by the beach in Italy. Great relaxing experience at the spa, gorgeous views from my Deluxe with terrace; Generous buffet breakfast. All is done to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Thank you Grand Hotel Alassio!

A wonderful, relaxing, rejuvenating, peaceful stay! It is our second visit as we had such a lovely time last year - everything just the same high standard given with the same kindness and generosity of spirit...The Front desk, the sweet Cleaning team, the Bellboys, the Breakfast team, the Bar, the Spa and the Beach team ..wonderful! Alex Cancel is the Head Concierge and it is him that makes the magic happen and brings it all together. As with all the great Concierge's of the top Hotels in the world he works his magic unobtrusively, expertly, quietly and without any fuss. He has one of those very rare qualities of being able to pre-empt what it is you may need or want without you realising it! A beautiful personal note left for us with some delicious Italian Prosecco on arrival, the same stunning Room as last year, the same delicious Cake for my Birthday as last year - he remembers it all! If its 'sold out' tickets for Monaco you covet, he will find a way, a special place for supper in the hills of Alassio - he will know it and arrange it for you... Professional, unassuming and genuinely caring he manages, when he is in the Hotel to just raise the atmosphere to extra special... Everyone seems to genuinely love their job and take pride in it as well as being the sweetest and nicest of people. THIS is what will bring guests back as it certainly has for us! Very nice hotel with a friendly atmosphere. You will feel really welcome there. Easy parking in the courtyard of the hotel. Room was big enough, perfectly clean. Excellent breakfast with which you can get a real Italian espresso. Dinner in the hotel restaurant is a wonderful gourmet experience. Although the hotel is not right by the sea, it is really a short walk to the beach.

Staff was kind and helpful. Room was large with balcony. Welcome with sparkling wine was sweet. Shower was great- super hot water (I like) and good pressure. Hotel is centrally located- short walk to beach, budello, supermarket, restaurants. Convenient onsite parking (extra cost). Great massages in spa onsite.

I loved this hotel , everything was amazing , the staff soo welcoming and nice , the room is beautiful and very clean , the attention they made for my baby , they prepared everything to make him so sapecial, they even offered me a massage session , the breakfast is delicious, this hotel is without doubt the best. If your are with family .. is the best choice .

We'd been to Alassio the previous year - so we knew where and where not to stay to be close to the shopping area, the beach, and to enjoy an overall nice atmosphere. I therefore decided to book this hotel because we wanted a view of the sea this time around and a bigger room. We were not disappointed. We took one of the corner rooms with terrace on the 5th floor - and it had such a beautfiul view over the sea - and equally looking out from the side terrace at the promenade below. The two adjoining rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated (our teenage daughter was in the adjoining room) and the bathroom (with shower and jacuzzi bath) was both luxurious and spacious. We could not have wished for better. The beach is right in front of the hotel and there is a nice terrace (closed whilst we were there) and steps down to the sandy beach with beautiful and chic looking sunbeds (with towels provided). Our teenage daughter was in paradise there !

Katia at the front desk was great! My minimal use of Italian was fine because she spoke excellent English to explain check-in and the hotel's services. The room was well appointed and balcony overlooking the beach perfect! Hotel seemed to cater to older folks and repeat guests which was fine because we wanted a quiet spot and this was the place. Great location and walking distance to everything in Alassio. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, lunch at the beach restaurant quick, relaxing and delicious, and all the hotel and restaurant staff were very nice and accommodating. Noticed other guest reviews complaining about having to pay for beach chairs & umbrellas - knowing that is how it works in Italy that didn't bother us. Its an optional service. We had only intended on staying one night but luckily Katia found us accommodations for the second night, despite hotel being sold out on line. I highly recommend this property for a great stay in Alassio!

A nice hotel with a perfect location in Alassio. Very happy with the breakfast, fresh fruit, cakes etc was all behind a counter served to you. Hot drinks served at the table, very much appreciated. The hotel has exceptional staff. The room was very well cleaned every day. The hotel has a bar whit an interesting choice of drinks and cocktails, and again extraordinary nice staff.

The breakfast was amazing and nicely varied. You could have as much as you like. The breakfast area was super dreamy and full of fresh morning light. The room was comfy with robes and a BATHTUB. Balcony. Amazing front desk staff. Close to all the Alassio hot spots and the train station. This is the hotel. Would 100% come back.

We really enjoyed the breakfast. The lobby was very clean and the receptionist was super helpful. She helped us book a beach stay and suggested some wonderful restaurants.

Brilliant hotel. Excellent location right on the seafront, 30 second walk to the beach and two minute walk from the main streets of the old town with plenty of shops and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff available 24/7. Lovely room, very clean and spacious, with a superb view on the seafront from our balcony. Fantastic breakfast with a huge amount of choice including many types of cakes, bread, pastries, fruit, yogurt, eggs, cheese and more (including gluten free and dairy free options). We also hired bikes from the hotel for free which we really enjoyed. Perfect place to stay to visit Alassio and the surrounding area!

Beautiful well maintained villa . Exceptionally attentive and willing to help staff. Lovely location just across the road from the beach. Plentiful breakfast with fresh fruits and nice coffee. There are no beach beds but beach bag and blanket are available.

Excellent room with a lovely little balcony and great sea view. Good desk and chairs together with other nice furniture touches. The bed was very comfortable. Very friendly cleaning staff. Nice little lounge and bar. Very good breakfast and the restaurant dinner we had one evening was high quality (although the main course quantity was smaller than average for some reason).

Staying in a villa across from the beach is dreamy! The seafront patio with a gorgeous garden has tables for relaxing. The rooftop terrace has loungers for sunbathing. They offer their bikes for free. Breakfast includes eggs made to order, but it closes at 9:30am! Lorena is a local and gave great recommendations! Also she carried my luggage up the stairs since there is no elevator. The walls are super thin because old buildings are not isolated in Italy. It is like a four star but at 3 star prices. It is the nicest 3 star I have stayed at in Italy in 5 years! A true gem next to the beach, shopping and restaurants!

The breakfast is exceptional with many options, including multiple kinds of delicious cakes and a barista. The staff was helpful and offered to pack us a breakfast bag the day we left since we were leaving before breakfast. It's a block from the beach. There is AC.

Clean spacious rooms, decent breakfast. The hotel has a nice fresh relaxed feel. Hotel is 3 minutes walk to the beachfront. A few more minutes walk along the beachfront will get you to a good selection of restaurants.

This is a cool little spot for people who just want to relax. The beach is less than 5 minutes away walking, the breakfast options are lovely. They even have enough for people who are vegetarian. Lots of fresh fruit. Very quiet and quaint, not fkashy but comfortable. Near the town in case you need to run and grab something. I really enjoyed my short stay.

Lovely hotel in a good location, not far from the beach. The room was spotless and quite large. We had a lovely view from our room and a balcony to sit out on. Breakfast was the best we've had so far and after 6 different hotels on our tour this made a big difference. I would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel! Location is excellent! 150 meters from the beach on a quiet street! The room is big. Breakfast room is large with air conditioning and also have tables outside in the garden! The hotel staff is friendly and we would like to mentioned that the lady who clean our room excellent did her job!!

Perfect location only 10 minutes walking from the train station and close to the beach and the famous “Budello”. The breakfast offered many different choices including cakes, fresh fruits, eggs cured meat etc. We had a very well sized triple room with two balconies with a lovely view towards the mountains.

Small but very charming hotel 🇮🇹✨ Everything is well cared for in every detail. I had a lovely room with two balconies, in a beautiful, authentic Italian style. It’s a small but beautiful and well-maintained place, with a warm and welcoming staff, all very kind. The breakfast was very good, highly recommended!

A very nice hotel, situated (on walking distance 350m) near the railway station. This was handy because we came by train from Genua. In Alassio it's hard to find a parking spot, so the train is a perfect alternative. Our room was located on the top floor and we had an enormous balcony around the room with a beautiful view on the sea and the park and city hall. The interior of the hotel is a little bit outdated, but it's still cosy. The room was big and had aircon (you certainly need that), a fridge, good beds, 2 chairs, spacious closet (with enough clothes hangers) and a spacious bathroom with a shower. The hotel has a private beach across the street where you can have your sunbed and umbrella for 20 euros (2 persons)

We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the sea. The shower was great and the bed comfortable. It was also very quiet at night. Breakfast was also good. The location was great, overlooking the beach (A small pizza in front) and was close to all amenities bars and restaurants

Lovely friendly staff, professional and keen to ensure everything went well. Breakfasts were generous, as were early evening aperitifs. Our room with a balcony overlooking the sea was perfect as was the location next to the pedestrian area. Loved Alassio, would go back to the Europa anytime!

The location is perfect! Just steps from the beach and everything else!! The staff was so helpful with helping us navigate parking and answering questions for us. The hotel is dated but for me it’s part of the charm I enjoy. The AC was amazing too!! Loved the breakfast!

Qiuiet location with parking option. Good breakfast, continental rather than italian (cake and coffee). All very clean, and bed linen superb white. Very friendly personnel. We stayed there on the way to our vacation in France. We happily returned there on our way back home... and would do it again...

Free terrace on the roof with beautiful view where you can relax during the day on the sunbed and during the evening there's nice aperitivo. Breakfast was also nice. The location isn't exactly close to the train station (around 10 minutes walk) but the sea is very close

The hotel staff were so kind and very attentive. The location is just perfect cause it's infront of the sea. 10mins to go to the center and 14mins from the train station. They also have a resort recommendation just go to the reception. Also the breakfast was good, they will assist you instantly.

We were guests off season but found the sandy beaches and warm water, the boardwalk, pier - a wonderful location right on the sea. The comfortable room had great light, buffet breakfast was delicious and fresh.

Liked the location , slightly away from the tourist areas . Times for dinner and lunch a little restrictive , only 1 hour slot for dinner . Staff very helpful and attentive . Spa area overpriced 40 euro for 2 people for one hour . Food at dinner is average .

Location is superb, close enough to the centre but far enough to feel uncrowded. Private beach is lovely and the Beach Manager is so helpful and friendly. Lovely fluffy towels. Breakfast was continental with lots of choices and eggs cooked to order.
