Lovely hotel, every where very clean and comfortable, lots of different areas to sit and relax. Lovely well kept gardens very nice environment. Staff friendly and helpful . Service in dining room and bars very good . The breakfast buffet was always well stocked with something for every taste and preference. Room very clean . We had a garden terrace, ground floor, lovely to have our own space, two loungers and two chairs with small table . Small fridge in room

Wonderful staff, all very friendly and helpful. Quick service and very polite. The room was very clean and warm. Plenty of space for twin beds and my niece and I to move around. Nothing was too much trouble, from the extra towels to wash m6 very long hair, to the extra hour we were abke to stay after check out. Breakfast was great, lots of choice in the buffet and a very reasonable price . Again the staff were brilliant! Really nice and friendly. I did not ask for vegetarian sausages, with hindsight I should have but I had plenty of choice so it really was not necessary. Both check in and check out were perfect, we were made to feel very welcome and a cheery goodbye when we left. Very highly recommended and we will definitely return.

We had a nice stay at the property. We enjoyed the bar and we had an amazing dinner in the restaurant. The roomsxare a bit dated but were comfortable and clean. The pool looked great but unfortunately we didn't get a chance to use it.

The pool was amazing, with a lovely bar and friendly lifeguards. Evening events were great fun, and the bar staff were fantastic with a brilliant drink selection. The atmosphere was lively but still relaxed, and everything was spotless. Would definitely return!

A beautiful hotel, our room was on the ground floor with a terrace containing sun beds, chairs and table. Very clean comfortable. The pool and surrounding area suited us perfectly with no problem in getting a sunbed and sunshade. Entertainment on 2 nights out of our 7 night stay was good fun, karaoke and singing with people who lived locally joining the hotel guests. A good selection of breakfast items kept topped up by the hard working kitchen staff to start the day. Great place to relax and reset. The seating areas around the main bar very well laid out and great to just sit and read, chat or have drinks and food. Towels available for the pool after initial refundable deposit taken (tip: you need cash €10 per towel)

The hotel was in a central location to the beach and the city centre, the room was lovely and spacious, there was a door between the bathroom and the bedroom which made the bedroom really quiet, gorgeous super king size bed, lovely soft towels, the room had a fully stocked mini bar and snacks in the room, it was cleaned every day to a high standard. We opted out of the daily breakfast, but the area in the hotel for meals had a panoramic view over the beach, the room had air conditioning, which wasn't loud, and could be adjusted, a nice balcony with a table and chairs overlooking the beautiful marina, there were plenty of dining options very close by, and a lovely little market every evening just a small distance from the hotel. Everything was close to the hotel. Plenty of taxis parked outside, a huge choice of restaurants, and so many sightseeing options, a lovely friendly city.

My room had an amazing view!! The sea view was amazing and I was able to watch the Alicante fireworks from my room. It was incredible! The receptionist was amazing and so welcoming! The breakfast was great and the view is absolutely stunning! Everything was perfect! So relaxing!

We had an studio room with seaview. The room was fantastic, clean, comfortable, well-equipped, but the big balcony and the direct seaview from the balcony, from the room (bed) was the best. The location is perfect, close to the heart of the city. The closer beach (Playa del Postiguet) was too crowded for us, but there was a great, quiet (small) beach at the end of the hotel building, it was really nice to swim in the sea. Other things (breakfast, staff) were also excellent.

The staff was very warm and friendly, from the moment we arrived. The rook we stayed in was amazing - very modern, clean, and spacious. I loved finding a yoga mat for use in the room itself, the cute mugs and cups, the beach towels that we could easily rent. The view from the breakfast room is stunning, and the breakfast is OUTSTANDING, from freshly squeezed orange juice, to freshly baked bread, a huge assortment of fruit, cakes, and savoury options.

Location was fantastic.Port on one side, beach on the other and a short walk to the main bar and restaurant areas. Staff were brilliant and so helpful! Great selection at breakfast! Pool area was so clean. Room was lovely, clean and spacious! Special thanks to Elena for leaving us some cava to celebrate our honeymoon! Highly recommend the hotel!

A beautiful setting around the pool area, with palm trees and a tropical feel. We had a room with a jacuzzi on the terrace looking over the pool. Rooms a comfortable with everything you need. Staff very helpful and the food in the restaurant was very good. A little out of town so you need a car or taxis to move around. Would recommend

The place was beautiful and tranquil. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Having our own balcony was nice to sit out on and looking over the pool, the greenery softened the area. The restaurant and the staff were excellent and very welcoming and professional. The spar was amazing, very relaxing for the time we had there. It was our 50th anniversary. It was really was a special place to stay.

Lovely hotel. Excellent food. Friendly and obliging staff from the receptionists, to the waiters and the cleaners. A very comfortable bed in our room. Very quiet and serene hotel most of the time. Lovely private Terrace with our room, 2 sunbeds, 2 chairs and table. Metal bench but no cushion. Great swimming pool area with tables chairs and cushions. Lots of sunbeds and umbrellas . Shower and toilets by the pool. Outside Terrace for buffet breakfast, and lots of different choices of food. Lovely dining room inside for evening meal.

The staff and service was amazing. The junior suite is super comfortable the bed the bath the shower everything was nice. We were lost and checked in around 11:00pm but the lady even though it was super late was nice and helpful. The breakfast was delicious.

Very big room and bathroom which had a nice bathtub. The bed was double and comfortable. The aircondtion was good and practical. The owner is a very nice and sympathetic peraon. He serves breakfast in the morning with smile all the time. Breakfast which was icluded in the price of 102 euros was a fair one with very good coffee. The breakfast room itself is very nice with a high cieling, and a blend of antique furniture. Free easy parking on the hotels premises.

The location, the room and the breakfast - very comfortable. Very clean and quiet but capable air-conditioning in the room, generous proportions. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area - the village was really nice and the people very friendly and welcoming.

Everything was great ,friendly helpful owner , nothing was too much trouble ,clean rooms ,food was very good , all homemade and very tasty.

Breakfast was excellent. The owners of the hotel are exceptional people. They couldn't do enough to help, and changed my stay there to one which was outstanding. I'd love to stay there again. The most relaxing holiday I have ever had. My dog was treated like a prince, and he loved it as well.

Although it was a small room it was adequate and clean staff was great very helpful and friendly you pay €3 and get a breakfast toasted half baguette or a pastry choice ,orange juice,and either tea or coffee

Great location, room spotless , staff were welcoming and accommodating. WiFi was brilliant . No problem getting extra pillows . Across the road from the beach , lovely restaurants nearby . Couldn’t ask for more .

Breakfast was excellent. The choices were great. I like a good breakfast and that's what I got. I am also disabled, and the staff, Antonio in particular, did their utmost to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Nothing was too much trouble and I cannot wait to go again. It's a short walk to the beach too.

Apartment was amazing. I really enjoyed jacuzzi. Everything was very clean, every day beds been changed for fresh ones. So polite staff. I’m missing that place!

The jacuzzi and the electric black out blinds. Everything was ready for us babys cot and all never had to go down to the counter for anything And the staff are more than helpful beer is so cheap and you get a free snack with 2 beers

The apartment was fab loved the jacuzzi. Apartment was great size for 5 people. Staff were exceptionally nice and helpful.

Very big rooms with great equipment in. Jacuzzi baths were a great feature. Shutter blinds blocked out all of the light at night and great air con unit. Beds were comfy with great linens that were made daily. Housekeeping staff were simply amazing. Location is great and is close walk to the old town.

The apartment we occupied was amazing. It had all the promised amenities. Lots of kitchenware; no food, drinks, spices or cleaning products, though, but staff were helpful providing us with dishwasher detergent tablets and clothes washer pods. Coffee machine used the NestCafé pods and it worked very well. The location is nice and quiet, with the only aggravation of a school and a soccer club being close by. You could hear children in the playground during school hours and soccer players in the evening. Location was convenient, a 5 min. walk to the downtown beachfront. Views of the ocean are spectacular and the large terrace was our favorite spot. Swimming pool was clean and had friendly hours. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were very clean.

We stayed for a week as a group of 13 in 4 different apartments, all of which were beautiful and slightly different. The sea view rooms are stunning, the panoramic amazing. We had the penthouse which had a beautiful large terrace and suite upstairs. Staff are amazing, shout out to Daniel who helped us lots. Didn’t eat there but the paella looked fabulous and there’s a lovely dining area inside or out by the bar. The apartments have everything you need, we cooked for 13 a couple of times. They provide towels for the pool/beach which you can swop whenever you like. Pool quite small but lots of beds and good to cool off. Lovely walk into town along the front, approx 20 mins. Town beach is beautiful with clean sand and really clear shallow water Little pebbly beach near the apartments that’s hilarious to get in but good for watching fish. And a great little beach bar. Great Spanish holiday Supermarkets close by. Tram stop 10 min walk, towards Alicante or Benidorm.

Contemporary apart hotel very tastefully furnished in reception and breakfast area. Spotlessly clean everywhere the staff must work extremely hard to keep it so pristine. The rooms are simply wonderful and for the price incredible value. Everything you need in an apartment and so spacious. The bed and pillows very comfortable too. We had a sea view so was particularly stunning. The pool area again very calm and we'll maintained with the water a perfect temperature. Less than 10 minute walk to beautiful beach and town along a picturesque walk next to the sea. Highly recommend

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Abaco last weekend to celebrate our anniversary. The reception ladies could not have been more friendly and obliging. The hotel is spotlessly clean, really tastefully modern and the bedroom was fabulous. The view from our window to the cathedral was gorgeous.  The bed was completely comfortable and additional pillows provided. Our suite had a separate bath in the sitting area and separate shower and toilet. A good selection of beer and wines in the lounge downstairs and a beautiful open terrace courtyard. A continental breakfast is available.  The hotel is located a 10 minute walk to the cathedral and has superb restaurants only 5 minutes walk away. Parking is available at cost, but limited number of spaces. The Hotel is excellent but the ladies made it even more so. We will return in October!

Lovely hotel in a great location,5 mins from the historic centre (up hill) and 5 mins to the shopping area/beach (pebble beach - take beach shoes or there are cheap shops to buy from) The tram is not far either,if you want to explore other towns/villages. The buffet breakfast was very good, choice of cheeses,hams,pastries,toast,eggs,cereals, fruit, yoghurts, orange juice and hot drinks. The staff are amazing, very professional, friendly (especially Valentina) and quick to respond and resolve any issue. We stayed in the Provence room, which has a lovely big shower, and the air conditioning was very controllable. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Absolutely beautiful! Perfect location - 5 minutes walk from the beach and from the restaurants in the Old Town of Altea. The service at the hotel is exceptional - the staff cannot do enough for you - they are so attentive and personal. The hotel is beautifully decorated in keeping with the Old Town of Altea. It is fresh, spotlessly clean and the attention to detail in the rooms is lovely. It is obvious that a lot of care and thought has gone into designing this hotel. The breakfast is fabulous - fresh, homemade produce and the setting in the courtyard is beautiful.

Hotel Ábaco in Altea was a great boutique hotel to spend my birthday weekend. The staff were all amazing the entire time and really took care to demonstrate outstanding hospitality, full of warmth, care, interest and professionalism. The spa services were delightful, too. [I chose a 90-minute massage and Reiki.] I'd highly recommend Cristina. The beach is a short walk down the main street, and all the eateries, cafes and shops are nearby and oh so charming. The rooms were also each unique and decorated in accordance with the room's theme, which was fun. The bed was extremely comfortable [dare I say too comfortable??] and the bathroom tub/shower combo was enormous and probably the most aesthetically pleasing tub/shower I've ever seen at a hotel. Needless to say, I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Altea.

A perfect location to explore the old town. A lovely decorated room and a very comfortable bed, so lacking in many hotels. A lovely terrace available to all guests....we enjoyed several glasses of excellent Cava in this lovely suntrap. Breakfast in a beautiful outside setting was delicious. Plenty of choice. All fresh produce and very helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. A great find.

I live about an hour down the coast, so this is perfect for a short break close to home. It was my 2nd time at this hotel, and my partner's first. The hotel is lovely, with great facilities, plenty of sunbeds, and friendly staff. Breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of choice. Our sea view room was as expected, and it was quick to access via the lifts, despite being on the 3rd floor. The bathroom was spacious with a shower, bath, and separate toilet. The beach is nearby, as are a few restaurants, or there are additional restaurants, and bars on site.

The hotel has a spacious lobby and reception area. The decor and furnishings are very good. The room was large and well appointed. The beds were large and comfortable. The bathroom had a walk in shower but we could use the bath as the flow of hot water was so slow. The balcony overlooked the pool and had a view of the sea. Everywhere was clean and tidy. All the staff in all areas were very helpful and pleasant..

We loved our time at SH Villa Gadea! The location is stunning with beautiful views and peaceful surroundings. The hotel itself is elegant and spacious, and the room was incredibly comfortable. The service was excellent, the pools were beautiful, and the atmosphere was so relaxing. The hotel has a luxurious feel without being over the top. We’d happily come back—everything exceeded our expectations.

The hotel is simply fantastic. From the minute you enter you are welcomed by the perfumed ambiance diffuser and it’s lush. Front of house host speak the best English and some even speak French. Room was extremely clean. Bed was the best. So so quiet. Bathroom towels are so fluffy and soft. The restaurants are simply fabulous. The breakfast buffet is HUGE !!!! Can’t wait to go back

We've just had a fantastic 10 night stay at this amazing tranquil hotel, an oasis on the outskirts of Altea, set in beautiful gardens. The hosts and staff were amazing, they couldn't do enough for us and the breakfast choices were just perfect, even offering homemade cakes!! There was a well stocked honesty bar available for use whenever you wanted, which is a great idea. An absolutely wonderful place to unwind and completely relax, we had a downstairs room with an amazing jacuzzi bath. There are plenty of places to relax around the pool and gardens, with plenty of shade when required. The hotel is about a 30 minute stroll from the centre of the beautiful old town of Altea, which is a fabulous and vibrant traditional Spanish town with a fantastic choice of restaurants and shops. The walk to town, and the town itself are quite hilly and would recommend a car for a long stay or if not very mobile The weather was very hot and we did get some mosquito bites but you should be fine if you're prepared, and the hotel do everything they can to minimise them around the hotel and gardens

Hotel Altea Paradise 1917 is located just outside the city of Altea. The center is about a 15min walk away with various restaurants and shops nearby. The property benefits from its own carpark and is in quiet location. The room was clean with a comfortable double bed and we had an ensuite bathroom with a shower. Towels were changed daily and the bed made every morning. The breakfast was delicious. You get eggs and pancakes made to order and a variety of breads and cakes. There is a ham and cheese platter and fresh tomato salsa. We stayed during the orange season and were offered fresh orange juice from oranges grown in the garden The garden is what really makes this property stand out. There is a swimming pool (we stayed in March so haven't used it), and multiple areas to sit and relax and enjoy the views.

One of the best parts of the stay was the fresh breakfast every morning, a healthy balanced breakfast was thoughtfully and carefully laid out each morning a perfect way to start the day. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful it truly feels like a tropical paradise hidden away in the dry rolling hills of Valencia, I think my girlfriend and I counted 6 different fruit plants and trees around the area. The location was fantastic only a 15 minute walk from the city center of Altea and 20 minutes from the beach. Finally the staff was super attentive, polite and welcoming, particularly the front desk attendant who also was in charge of making up our rooms and cooking the wonderful breakfast spread which involved freshly baked goods every morning 10/10

A fantastic hotel, the gardens are amazing, it is very peaceful the pool is great the views lovely. The honesty bar is a good touch and very reasonable. As this is a small hotel, it never feels busy. The whole setup had a quirky boho thai/bali feel. The location is a 15 min walk from the main square. Yes, it's up a hill, which was tough during the heatwave, but it's good to be away from the crowds. There is a little shop about 10 mins away, which is handy as you can only get crisps from the honesty bar. Breakfast was yummy, and you got such a warm welcome from the owners and staff when you walk in every morning. Choice of eggs however you want them, fresh fruit, cereals, cakes, pancakes etc etc We went for one of the larger rooms and were pleased. We would return as we loved the peace and quiet.

Everything was perfect. Mine hosts Martin and Esteban were welcoming and genuinely loved their lives in the hospitality business. No noise from other bedrooms although the hotel was full. The bed was very comfortable with ample soft pillows. The breakfast was varied fresh and plentiful . Freshly ground coffee. There is an honesty bar, book your drinks down and pay at the end of your stay. I could fill a book about the garden but I would spoil the delight of discovering it's many charms for yourselves. It's an absolute joy to spend time in this beautiful hotel.

The hotel is interesting with character. Awaiting us in our room was a bottle of Cava and rose petals strewn on the bed! Very romantic! The bed itself and the pillows were very comfortable and the bedding was of high-quality. It was nice to have a terrace and view from the room. There was a good choice for breakfast and the staff were very helpful. Karina on reception was particularly friendly and helpful, as was Yolanda in her email prior to our arrival.

Everything was amazing at the hotel! The room was cosy and clean, full of light. Big and comfortable bed. I loved the coffee and chamomile offered in the room. The bathroom was big and very comfortable. Location is great, and the breakfast as well. They also have a small gym. The staff is very kind and friendly.

Comfortable bed, great shower (but in a bathtub) and spacious, comfortable rooms. Great location amidst a lot of bars and restaurants and with a great view over the harbour.

We know the Dénia area very well and have walked admiringly past this hotel on many occasions. After a villa Christmas break with family we wanted to relax for a few days. Our initial booking was for 3 nights and we were delighted with the entrance lobby and the warm check-in by Sylvia. The boutique hotel is a sensitively refurbished old building with many historic features. The reception area has an old stone arch and lots of museum pieces. The bespoke aroma of a large candle was very relaxing. We went up to our Junior Suite Deluxe and loved the room. It was large and bright with two full-length windows opening on to a long think balcony with chairs overlooking the marina. The room had a large four-poster bed with high quality linens and lots of pillows all with the same bespoke aroma we enjoyed in reception. The floor was traditionally tiled and a large sofa-bed with a fridge and good lighting added a lot. The bathroom had a large walk-in shower, double sinks, toilet and bidet with great towels and toiletries. We extended our stay to seven nights as we enjoyed everything so much. The large marina is just across the road with bars and restaurants. The historic old town is only a few minutes walk away. Calle Loreto has lots of tapas bars and restaurants. I would highly recommend this lovely hotel and we will certainly return.

Beautiful villa with gardens, pool and decking outside, plus free onsite parking. Inside there are two cosy lounges and a bar & restaurant. Service is excellent and all staff very friendly and helpful. The service from Alex is particularly fabulous! We had a room with sea view. Location is in upmarket residential area close to the rocky / pebbled sea shore, where there is a long promenade right into Denia (50 mins walk) passing by some restaurants.

The receptionists and the hotel staff were excellent. Carolina, Anna, and the other girl, i can't remember her name, at breakfast, were always welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. There are plenty of sun beds and the swimming pool was clean. If you want a relaxing holiday i can definitely recommend it.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, staff and the facilities were exceptional. This is a very comfortable, relaxing environment to be able to enjoy any kind of holiday, there are very cosy and comfortable areas to relax in the lobby. For me personally I enjoyed being able to unwind and enjoy both rest and being able to go out and do activities and day trips. The swimming pool is really nice and there was always enough sun beds around it. The food is also very good and the staff were always kind and helpful. Very nice rooms. Thank you.

Beautiful hotel with welcoming staff! The room was nice with a large terrace, and there was even a dog bed for our little dog. The breakfast was one of the best, with everything and more. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was excellent and locally based! Beautiful terrace and garden, nice place for walks and tranquility!

This hotel was just beautiful. From the moment we arrived to the time we had to leave everything was exceptional. The views of the surroundings were breathtaking. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The suite was warm and inviting and you could even enjoy the vista from the jacuzzi. The food was delicious with a very different menu. For the whole experience it was great value for money. Cannot wait to return.

Our stay at the Alahuar Hotel was wonderful. The location is fantastic, the bungalow was beautiful, tidy, with a balcony and a view of the mountains. There was a pool with sun loungers. The breakfast was generous and delicious. The restaurant dishes were excellent. The staff were helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!

Perfect location at the foot of Denia Castle, leisurely stroll to the Marina/Sea Front. The building is truly beautiful, the bedrooms immaculate, beds super comfy. We had a massive superior room with jacuzzi bath and the inclusive buffet breakfast was delicious. Really, I couldn't fault this place at all.

What a lovely little hotel this is. The staff were lovely and very helpful. We had a lovely big room with a jacuzzi bath !! The breakfast was outstanding and although there was just us for breakfast the choice was amazing with freshly squeezed juices and a healthy (spinach and apple etc.) option juice was also available. Cheeses and meats were also available. We parked our car in the hotels car park as parking is difficult nearby. Location was great for walking around and we were very close to the castle. I would stay here again. :) Although the restaurant was closed they suggested a restaurant close by which was lovely. Very good value for money.

Cosy boutique hotel in the old part of Denia, close to restaurants and Tapas bars and not far from the main town. Staff were friendly and the room very clean and comfortable. Great buffet style breakfast with a good selection of breads, cereals, pastries, cold meats and cheeses. The hotel had secure parking that was perfect for our motorbike.

We booked last minute for a budget room at a very good price. It was a surprisingly quaint but new room in the annex very comfortable bed and excellent shower and airconditioning. The only thing that would have improved it would have been tea/coffee making facilities. We had dinner in the restaurant which was a beautiful setting with excellent friendly waitress and the food was fabulous. Breakfast in the morning was also an added bonus and a great choice. The hotel is a 2 min walk from the old town and we would definately stay again. The receptionist was also very helpful and friendly, we parked our car securely for only 10e.
