A real pearl in the countryside! Perfect place for relax and chillout! Located in the heart of Aljezur, right by the main road, close to bus stop, restaurants and cafes, as well as the old town. Spacious rooms, very comfortable bed, equipped with everything you may need (hairdryer, coffee and tea set, small fridge etc.), very clean. I loved the big balcony! Very good breakfasts. Swimming pool is great advantage, especially on sunny days. If you need a place to stop for a while, take a breath and recharge batteries - that's a perfect spot!

This hotel was just perfect. Our room was bright and clean with a very comfortable bed. A lovely swimming pool. The staff from reception to bar/restaurant were amazing. I would like to mention one staff member called Marianna who greeted us each time with a smile. Very friendly and professional

We had a large room with plenty of space. The beds were comfortable and warm. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They assisted to ensure we were satisfied- we appreciated that. This hotel is next to Intermarché so food, drinks and laundry was super close. It was a bit too cold to use the pool but it was a good size with ample patio space to sit and enjoy it. We had a couple nights here and it was relaxing and quiet. Good breakfast offered more than enough food.

Great spacious room, which wàs good value in comparison to other places we stayed along our walking route.. Spotlessly clean good balcony space. Comfy bed. Great shower. Provided a picnic breakfast for early departure.

We cycled an extra 16 km just to stay here after reading about the amazing breakfast—and it was absolutely worth it! The hotel was perfect: comfortable bed and pillows, wonderfully quiet at night, and with a cozy café and pizza place just a short walk away. The staff were incredibly helpful, and we especially appreciated the secure indoor bike storage. And that breakfast? Even better than we expected—delicious, plentiful, and with desserts that were out of this world. The perfect fuel for our 130 km ride home!

The guy at reception was extremely helpful, he literally told us all about the area and the restaurants and he was supernice and friendly. Breakfast was outstanding to be a small hotel. The rooms were great, spacious and comfortable with a nice balcony. Location was good, you can easily reach the parks and the cliffs of the amazing Costa Vicentina.

This hotel is excellent to stay a few nights if you want to visit a few of the beautiful beaches of the Costa Vicentina. It is a simple yet very clean and well maintained place. Staff is polite and professional and ready to help. The room was very clean, the beds where comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We strongly recommend this place for it's great price/value ratio.

Cozy clean, personal service from a welcoming staff. The beds and pillows were super comfortable. Our host was warm, charming and very generous with a welcome gift and advice for a great local restaurant as well as directions to a secluded beach.

Very helpful staff. Clean room, everything worked well. The highlight was the breakfast. Wonderful choice with everything from fresh fruit, cereals, cooked breakfast, selection of breads and pastries. The hotel is under the same management as a highly successful bakery next door. WiFi worked well. Parking outside the hotel. Good location for coastal walk and travelling North-South along the coast south of Lisbon.

staff were so helpful. Rooms tastefully decorated , could have been a bit bigger we had 3 single beds in our room. Small fridge in the room which was a bonus . Small balcony but lovely view. Pool area lovely but could do with an update, decking a bit rickety but pool kept clean. Moroccan theme throughout hotel very authentic. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, eggs , bacon, sausage and there was lots of cold choices, meats, cheese, yogurts with lovely pastries and nice coffee. Location amazing, couple of great restaurants in walking distance. The beach is less than 5 minutes away by car. Arrifana one way and Monte Clerigo the other, both just stunning. we will be back to visit for sure.

We stayed one night only, but it's suitable for longer stays. The room was clean, wide, view on the swimming pool, all amenities working great, quite comfortable beds. The hotel needs a little bit of renovation, but it was perfect for us. Breakfast was varied and enyoyable, pretty yummy I'd say. All the staff members who we met were very kind and welcoming. Ample and safe parking inside. Well located if beaches are your main interest, a little bit far from Aljezur, you need a car anyway. Would recommend, we had a (short) and excellent experience.

We had a comfortable and spacious ground floor room with a bathroom overlooking the lawn area. The hotel had a very sensible system for breakfast time which required you to choose an hour when you would like to eat. The dining area was not large, so this made perfect sense. The breakfast food was of very good quality and included local preserves/jams. The staff were lovely. The swimming pool area was also very spacious with lots of sun beds. The hotel was not all all noisy. This could have been because a lot of the clientele were walkers who probably wanted a good night's sleep themselves.

Everything is just perfect for a nice stay at Odeceixe, both for couple or family mode. Staff is super friendly, always ready to assist you, the room was spacious and comfortable, everything was clean and tidy. Our room had a view over the pool and garden, beautiful sight. Pool, tennis court and available bicycles are great additions. Breakfast is amazingly good and you can use a common kitchen if you want to prepare your own meals. Plenty of parking space and great location close to Odeceixe beach and Aljezur (both 10 mins by car). Can't recommend enough !

This property is spacious, relaxing, clean, and comfortable. We loved how nice (Tania?) was and how she took time out of her busy day to interact with my young daughter. My daughter loved the pool even though it was cool in November. We actually choose here because we needed to do laundry halfway through our trip and they let us help ourselves to the washing machines, which was super helpful. We felt at home here. The holiday cottage had a kitchen that was just right for us to cook dinner. The property grounds had pretty flowers, eucalyptus trees and citrus trees blossoming. We met Poochi and enjoyed the antics of the friendly cats on the property. The nearby beaches are: WOW!

We stayed at this beautiful agroturismo for almost two weeks and loved everything about it! The apartments get cleaned every day which we didn‘t expect but enjoyed so much. The whole property is perfectly clean and well maintained. The hosts and all staff are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast is just the best! (wish we could have taken the delicious marmelade home :-)). They also have donkeys to pet and our two little girls loved them. Praia de Odeceixe is only a 10 min. car ride away, Ajezur with it‘s beautiful market and restaurants about 15 Min. We can‘t wait to return next year…

What a fabulous place! Beautiful grounds with a terrific pool and well-maintained garden. Breakfast was delicious and abundant - bread, cereal, meats, cheese, pancakes, fruit, croissants, coffee, juice and tea! The staff, especially Gregorio and Lourdes, were friendly and helpful. The entire place is spotless. It's evident they love to host their guests and take great pride in their lovely rural estate. We felt completely at home in this restored farmhouse near Azenjur and Odeceixe.

We had a lovely time here. It was perfect!! The cleaners came every day to clean our apartment so it was spotless. The kitchen area had everything we needed . The breakfast was amazing and the pool was very clean and a nice place to be. The staff were really helpful , nothing was too much . We needed a break and we got it here. We will definitely come again

Estela is the most amazing host. She was there to greet us upon arrival. We got the full tour of the property while sipping on complimentary port. She provides an amazing choice for breakfast including delicious homemade yogurt and cake. The room was comfortable and the wee terrace was perfect for enjoying an evening bevy. Estela goes above and beyond to ensure you have a wonderful stay.

It was like coming home to grandma‘s house. Estela welcomed me warmly. The room was comfortable and the (external) bathroom huge, everything spotlessly clean. The kitchen downstairs had everything you could possibly need to prepare a meal. I loved the little balcony and the peace and quiet, especially at night - I slept like a baby. Plus the house is practically on the path to Praia da Bordeira, an amazing beach. Thank you so much Estela for this wonderful stay!

Estela was amazing, so kind, and generous. The family port wine at check-in, the homemade cake and yoghurt, and free coffee/tea/cookies/breakfast/fruit. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the area was quiet. Laundry. Good heating. Close to fisherman's trail. Absolutely lovely atmosphere, recommended.

Lovely very friendly owner and family. Estela has always been helpful and it was good to see her again. Apartment is not large but comfortable and warm and pleasantly quiet. Plenty of lovely nibbles and breakfast provided by Estela. Easy walk to the beach or into town. Good coast path walking and surfing.

The room was really nice, had big bathroom with good shower and a comfortable bed. Also very clean and to a very high standard. Amazing breakfast, I ate so much of it! Stunning peaceful location which felt really safe and the pool was so nice. A wonderful relaxing stay in what felt like total luxury. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. Make sure you drink the gift of port on the first night otherwise the cleaners take it away! We were very disappointed as were too tired after our flight in the first day but had been really looking forward to it.

Everything was exceptional. Our family were welcomed warmly and we were recommended tasty seafood restaurants to try in the evening. The location was just a short trip away from various beaches and amazing restaurants with outstanding views . The property was almost like a retreat as the ambience was perfectly created to ensure you feel relaxed. The breakfast was the best we have had in Portugal the fruit was delicious, fresh and tasty and the selection of food was perfect .

We loved everything about our stay. The beds were extremely comfortable - both my sister and I had the best night sleep we've had in ages. The room was clean and quiet, with blackout curtains for sleeping and good wifi ... it had everything we could need or want. The robes and complimentary port were very nice touches. The breakfast was delicious and satisfying for both of us (one of us is a vegetarian, the other is not). The property itself is gorgeous. It happened to be a little too cold out to use the pool, but it looked very inviting. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, and recommended some beautiful beaches and delicious restaurants for us to check out. Next time I'm back in this area I will definitely stay here again, and will recommend it to all my friends.

A suberb place to stay at Odeceixe. Breakfast is incredible, the whole area is great and super quiet. Staff is very kind and nice. Very tastefully decorated and clean. Wonderful pool. Robes were very confortable and complimentary beach towels are provided. The location is lovely, in a nice rural area near to the fabulous Odeceixe beach, the main village and several restaurants. Totally relaxing and welcoming!

Monte do cardol is a stunning property, peaceful, amazing grounds and a fabulous breakfast. The room was beautifully done and the private terrace outside overlooking the pool was a lovely place to sit. Both the restaurants in the village were closed but the bar nearby was friendly and fun. It was a shame to only be there for 1 night!

Casas Do Moinho is located between Odeceixe village and Malhadais village. It is a quiet and nice location by the main small village road. The Odeceixe village might be noisy in the summer, so this location is perfect and easy to reach with a car or by foot from the Odeceixe or Malhadais villages. The room is spacey and the view to the pool and fields is stunning. The morning at the balcony with a sunshine was beautiful. The breakfast was made from the local high quality products. It wasn't the biggest, but perfect for us. The hotel rooms are mostly a single apartments by the road. Typical Portuguese cute village buildings from outside, but well decorated and with wooden floors. The quality was all great. The amazing Odeceixe beach is not far away. 5 minutes with a car. The roads runs next to the Seixe river. With a morning mist it is like a dream drive. Highly recommended.

Really nice interior in the room I stayed in, and in the restaurant. Amazing views from the restaurant and pool! Great breakfast! My room was really clean and spacious. Really comfortable bed also.

We stayed in one of the maisonette houses. Comfortable lounge with top of the range TV (much appreciated after a few days hiking the Fishermans’ Trail), nice kitchen (not used as the hotel comes with a superb breakfast), and a luxurious bathroom. The upstairs a a comfortable king size bed and a small terrace. We are at their BBQ restaurant that night. The whole stay greatly surpassed expectations and was excellent value for money.

Staff were exceptional. Carolinia especially friendly, helped us on two days to get to our hiking trail starts. Accommodations spacious and unique, restaurant nearby (hotel restaurant was closed for dinner on the days we were there), lovely and complete breakfasts at the hotel.

This was simply a very beautiful space to stay in! Everything was very neat and clean, including the shared dining room/ common space. In the common space theres tea, a water cooker, dishes and cutlery, as well as extra blankets and some books. We loved the big window in our room, because theres a little barrier to block anyone from looking inside, while still making it possible to sleep with an open window. The chill seating area below the bed is cute and cozy. The bed was comfortable. Some reviews complained about noise but we did not have any issue with that, as our window was not towards the main road (we only heard quiet chatter from the restaurants, which I didnt mind and found quite relaxing). The main selling point is certainly the decor and makes this a very unique place to stay in!

I really loved this place — everything was perfect. It felt authentic and cozy. There was a nice spot to sit down and relax for a while, a comfortable bed, and a bathroom with everything you might need. The property also has a lovely restaurant, owned by the same hosts. The staff were friendly, and the village itself was pretty amazing — small but unique.

Our room w/balcony was modern /clean (perhaps recently renovated); vg breakfast is available 8am because their bakery where they get the fresh breads& croissants only open then. Bft also included 6 different fresh fruits & choice of eggs. Their location is just 750 metres from bridge entering Odeceixe -where the Fisherman’s Way path ends- really convenient. Appreciated checkout @11. Hosts very hospitable

Nice guest house in a quiet part of town. Around the corner from a few restaurants. Staff are lovely and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Eggs made to order, and other choices were served buffet style. Coffee machine, self-serve, cereal, yogurt, bread, jams, cheese, meat, fresh cut fruit, juice, and more. No air conditioning, but fan in room. Small fridge in room.

Everything. Location is great with quite a few good restaurants nearby. Hosts are very friendly & helpful with multi-lingual skills. Room is very nice and comfortable with a great power shower. We had the best breakfast along the Fisherman’s trail with made-to-order scrambled eggs and plenty of other breakfast items. Would highly recommend it.

Very welcoming, friendly and overwhelming experience. Quinta is having stylish interior with antique design, furniture pieces. All within the quinta is contructed with sustainable approach and modern recycling solutions, which is really impressive. Next to it there are nice pathways to the beach, shore, dunes and along coast which lead through the pinus sylvestris - pine forrest. We arrived late and Vitor advised us a very nice traditional restaurant with typical for this region and time of the year dishes and drinks. Very tasty breakfast with home made jams, cake, portuguese coffee and scrambled eggs from his chickens. What is Vitor is wonderful host, very knowledable and open minded, kind and welcoming. We loved that quinta is filled with many animals. Fully recommended.

Vitor was a great host. We arrived a little later than expected. He was on hand to help us clean our bikes and check in. He also made us dinner and breakfast which was exceptional. Very friendly animals as well to top it off. Lovely walk just down to the beach from his house. Incredibly serene and quiet

The nature, the property itself, the organic food, the atmosphere of a proper farm, the kindness and attention to detail of the host. Our room was very comfortable, shower was good, very clean, had all we need Amazing breakfast serving organic and local products, we got scrambled eggs from the farm’s hens Victor, the host is a very helpful, kind and wise person who will provide all the information needed to have an excellent time I will come back with my wife and will bring some Mexican chillies to share some knowledge with doctor the next time :)

The location itself was great in the sense that you feel like you're just around nature. It's also within walking distance to the beach with a fun little hike and fairly accessible to other places in the region by car. There were chickens, cats and dogs around the property which were super nice! Viktor, the host, is also very welcoming and the breakfast he made every morning was amazing, very thoughtful and delicious!

Splendid park with swimming pool, all without exaggerations or useless luxuries, we are between the sea and the countryside. Perfect for those who love tranquility, nature but also comfort. A few minutes from Odeceixe beach, a divine sight. Very friendly and helpful managers. Good breakfast. All very clean and pleasant.

The staff were lovely, welcoming and helpful. The room was quaint and cozy! The grounds were beautiful. I wish we had been there in the summer because I would have loved to try out the spacious pool! We asked for a recommendation for a restaurant and were guided to a wonderful place in town with fantastic food and friendly owners. I'd go back to this accommodation in a heartbeat!

Are you looking for a peaceful and relaxing place? Don't search more, you found the best place to be. Waking up and going directly to the pool, right before breakfast. Enjoy the first meal of the day in the facilities to have a great morning! After a full day at one of the beaches nearby, relax by the pool and after, you can go for dinner in one of the villages close by. The room we stayed in had everything that we needed and the staff was always there for us if we needed anything. We'll come back, for sure :)

The agro-tourism hotel was an excellent choice for a quiet and comfortable stay on the Costa Vicentina. Our host Tiago was very friendly and walked us through all aspects of the property upon arrival. Location was great as we made our way up the coast from Sagres to Lisbon. Excellent breakfast in the morning. Would liked to have stayed longer, but will return when we revisit the area in the future.

So central in Odeceixe, short walk to restaurants. Comfortable beds, rooms, modest kitchen with lovely balcony for view of surroundings. Host SO wonderful, attentive, also offering tisane with breakfast that they harvested locally. Really enjoyed.

Loved our stay at Casa Morais. Fantastic little B&B, run by the amazing Alzira. She was so delightful, especially at breakfast, making us food and her amazing "life tea". Truly felt like a family sitting around during breakfast. Apartment on the top floor was spacious, comfy, BUT a little cold. As it was cold for that time of year. Great unit and location overall with an easy walk to the town center. Would stay again and again...

Brilliant location centrally. Amazing landlady. Generous rooms, very clean, totally welcoming and memorable breakfast where we were royally entertained by the 91 year old landlady and given a delicious and very Portuguese meal, including her secret recipe tea that she says is the reason for her ‘longa Vida’. Wonderful

The location is very comfortable, it's in the city center and since you can't park the car inside the historic city center, you have a free parking just a few minutes from the apartment. The owner was very welcoming and you immediately felt at home! Breakfast in the morning was amazing! (Everything was made with love, you could see it!) The room was clean and you could find everything you need starting from toiletries, towels, soap and other accessories. We stayed just for one night, but I would definitely recommend "Casa Morais" to everyone who is planning to visit Odexeise.

Absolutely loved the mezzanine rooms. Beautiful location with stunning views over the valley and an amazing pool. The people were also lovely. Really friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent and generous portions. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere but it was also very close to Aljezur - great little place - and lots of beautiful beaches and walks in the hills. Would highly recommend if you’re after a peaceful, relaxing and rejuvenating holiday. We stayed for 7 days.

this is the most fabulous place to stay for so many reasons. the most important one is that Marta and Julio are the most exceptional hosts and obviously being in the hospitality business is what they excel at (although am sure there will be many other things). Both Marta and Julio had thought of everything that one could need or want and somethings that had not even thought about. (beach towels, beach umbrellas, pegs and washing line to hang up wet swimsuits etc) As everyone has already mentioned the breakfasts are perfect and sitting on the outside veranda wit h the fabulous view was a great way to start the day. a great location for exploring the neighbourhood and lots of good restaurants nearby and we were given some excellent recommendations too. I cannot praise our hosts more in terms of how they made us feel so welcome and had looked after us so well. Thank you for the most wonderful 6 days.

An absolute place to feel at home! The hotel is beautifully located right in the middle of nature – perfect for anyone looking for peace and quiet. The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming, and you immediately feel like part of the family. Every wish is taken care of with warmth and attention. The breakfast is fantastic – fresh, varied and full of little details that show how much love goes into everything. The property itself is very well maintained and beautifully designed. And the sweet dogs make the atmosphere even more special. A wonderful place to relax, enjoy and definitely come back to!

One of the best tourism accommodations we have stayed for a long time. And we travel a lot. Beautiful estate with a great garden and a scenic pool with a love for small details. The room had enough space, was very clean, well equipped, and had a private terrace with a nice view. The breakfast is very tasty and you can order it onto the room without costs. The owners were outstandingly friendly and tried to fulfill every wish. You get everything what you need 10/10.

They serve an outstanding breakfast with fresh orange juice, lots of fruit, croissants and as much coffee, as you like. Good place for families because the pool and the playground are at the center of this appartement complex. A jacuzzi and a tennis court are also available. By car you can easily reach the nearby Amoreira and Bordeira beach which are both outstanding.

Everything was perfect! Beautiful, very quiet location in the nature, comfortable appartments, fresh and tasty breakfast, friendly staff, beautiful small pool, playground, very child friendly. 100% recommended! The owner and his family very always super helpful when planning excursions, making recommendations etc. The place is also perfect for running/walking as trails start right in front of the house.

We loved Carrapateiramar Guest House. It was quiet, clean, comfortable and with all the amenities you need - air conditioning, modern bathroom with large shower, kitchen appliances, dishes, soap, etc. Apartment was spotless. Bedsheets and towels were clean and fresh smelling. They even did our laundry and hung it outside to dry. Eduardo was quick to respond to messages, and provided early check-in for us, because the room was ready. All in all, a wonderful experience! Great restaurant across the street.

Walking the Rota Vicentina this was my favourite stop and a perfect place for a rest day. Arrived all tired and dusty it was luxury to cool off in the pool and clean up in the great bathroom. The room was huge with a mezzanine level bedroom and a large comfortable bed. The kitchenette had everything you need and the place was spotlessly clean. I enjoyed a few beers sitting out the front patio chatting to the other guests and enjoying the pool. It's a short walk to the village one way and to the glorious beach the other way. It's a lovely spot for a bit of chilled R&R.

Once we were in we liked this accommodation on the Rota Vicentina. The mini apartment was clean and comfortable, the bed excellent. We enjoyed the pool and appreciated the A/C. Breakfast wasn't offered but we found what we needed in town, not too far on foot. There was coffee and tea in the apartment. The restaurant across the street was delicious and not overpriced. Our host was very helpful.

Spacious and clean room. Comfortable beds and Eduardo was really welcoming. Even got some coffee pods for breakfast. Just a couple meters from a restaurant and maybe 400m from town square. If you’re hiking also close to the trail

The accommodations were spacious and clean. Very quiet area which was great for relaxing. Pool looked inviting. Restaurant across the street was convenient and good. Cappapateiramar Extreme tours was close and of good value.

This was our second stay at Herdade Monte Do Sol, and it was as amazing as the first! Warm welcome and peaceful atmosphere made us fall in love with this place and its residents (birds, cats, dogs, peacocks, horses etc :). The property is absolutely stunning—surrounded by nature, it offers the perfect retreat to unwind and recharge. Villa is spacious, and beautifully designed. Terrace for morning coffee with sunrise view, and terrace with beautiful sunset ocean view was a favorite spot to relax and take in the serene surroundings. Breakfast —fresh, local, and delicious, some croissants, pastry, buns, cheese and meet platter, jam, and coffee capsules. Breakfast is delivered a preacreed time. Herdade Monte Do Sol is located in the rural area, you would definitely need a car to go exploring the beaches, hiking trails, or charming local villages. We will definitely be back again—this place is a gem!

This is a lovely place to stay with a wonderful view of the Atlantic Ocean from the back door. The villa is clean and great for 3-4 people. Outdoor furniture is perfect for enjoying the view and landscape. Breakfast was croissants, rolls, sweet treat, cheeses and meats, yogurt, coffee/tea-generous and fresh. There is an enclosed fireplace with wood in the living room which is a wonderful touch. The hosts are lovely, so friendly and helpful. The animals are very friendly and gladly visit. The other animals (goats, horses, chickens + peacocks) are fun to visit. This is an out-of-town gem; I would definitely stay here again.

This was a little slice of heaven. We only stayed one night but wished we were staying longer . Beautiful peaceful location. Accommodation was lovely, plenty of space for our family, with a sleeping loft for the kids , living area, bedroom and bathroom and terrace with a hammock and views of the pool and ocean. We visited the beach Monte Clerigo earlier in the day. It’s not the closest beach but was only 10 mins away and was beautiful. The kids enjoyed the animals roaming around and we loved the delicious fresh breakfast delivered to your door. We hope to be back to explore the west coast of Portugal more and would definitely come back to Herdade Monte do sol

Fantastic rural location with amazing coastal views and sunsets. Very tranquil with warm friendly and helpful hosts. Accommodation was well equipped, immaculately clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast included.

An idyllic setting to rest, relax, and restore. We stayed here 2 nights while walking the Rota Vicentina as a break from our walk. A place to sink in and enjoy all the sites and sounds. Cats, dogs, horses, and a view of the ocean from a private deck (with table and chairs). Breakfast is served at a pre-arranged time to your door and is of high quality. Breakfast included breads, cheeses, meats, fresh fruit, yogurt, and a homemade bakes treat. Hosts are welcoming and accommodating. We arrived at noon after a rainy walk and they made efforts to get our room ready so we could check in (significantly early). We really enjoyed our stay. Just a note that restaurants are about a 10-15 minute walk away.

Everything! We would go back in a beat! This is a beautifully appointed, very comfortable and fully equipped accommodation in a quiet location that is a 15min drive from both Carrapateira and Aljezur. Vera is a superbly welcoming hostess, the breakfast is delicious and you can tell that a lot of thought and care has gone into the property. Vera had great tips for us regarding places to visit and where to find different types of food in the area. There was also a lovely welcoming treat for us, a meat & cheeseboard as well as wine this was a nice surprise after a long day on the road. The location allows easy access to the coastline and all the beaches north and south of Bordeira, as well as Sagres, Lagos and Monchique. We chose our breakfast everyday, and the basket is so plentiful that we had snacks for most of the day. There was varied fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, warm bread & croissants and a variety of other items on choice. The sweet potato torte and the honey cake were absolutely delicious.

Absolutely incredible stay! Everything was perfect, super clean & comfortable & nothing was too much trouble. Vera & her mum made us very welcome during our stay & they were always on hand with anything we needed. The place is truly amazing, so tranquil & relaxing & the Quinta’s are so homely & comfortable. The salted pool was a bonus. The breakfast is delivered to your terrace & was delicious. Lots to choose from & filled us up for most of the day. I was celebrating my birthday & I’ll never forgot it. The personal touches were very much appreciated. We will definitely be returning. Thank-you so much!

What an incredible place, run by a wonderful family! We had a fantastic four night stay at Quinta das Alframbas. To begin with Vera notified us we could check in early, which was fantastic for us as our flight arrived early in the day. On arrival we were shown around and left to relax in our accommodation. We were then provided a delicious charcuterie board which was just what we needed after a long travel. The accommodation is spacious, modern, clean and well equipped, the pool and surrounding sun lounges a perfect place to soak up the sun and cool off in the pool. The breakfasts!! 7 different choices, with delicious fresh local fruits and cheeses, incredible cakes baked by Vera’s mum. I am coeliac, and was so moved by the efforts of Vera and Mum to accommodate my dietary needs. Receiving a whole loaf of gluten free bread and cakes every day just for me- very kind indeed. We had leftovers from breakfasts to use for lunches and afternoon treats when returning from a day exploring. If we had any questions or needed support Vera was always available, either in person, or via WhatsApp. The recommendations of beaches, restaurants, and places to visit were well received and much appreciated. A lovely place, and we can’t wait to stay again when we next visit Portugal!

The house was very comfortable, with beautiful soft furnishings. The kitchen was well equipped when we occasionally cooked. The service from Vera and Celia was 5 STAR, we couldn't fault the friendly service and warm welcome we received. The breakfast delivered was enormous, lasting us most of the day. Cakes, fruit, croissants, bread, cheese n hams, eggs, yoghurt, granola. AMAZING ! It was always 100% fresh and delivered at a time to suit. During our stay, it was my sons 11th birthday, Celia baked and dressed a birthday cake for him, the other children staying, joined in and sang Happy Birthday. This is one birthday celebration cake that will always be remembered, thank you . The setting is so peaceful, a great spot for a bit of bird watching or spotting swallow tail butterflies. The swimming pool is a great addition to the property, I was abit concerned about salt water pool, but you can't tell and it's a pleasant change from the smell of chlorine :-) It is well positioned for day trips to the beaches near by and Aljezur. Never experienced such AMAZING hospitality! This beautiful family made our stay the most amazing one! Nothing could be bad in this place because the service is perfect, the place is just perfect and peaceful, the houses are all new with beautiful decoration. The location is perfect. Honestly.. nothing could be bad here ❤️ we went there for a getaway as we really needed as a family and they made us feel like at home. Our stay at Hortas do rio was just perfect! Really quiet location, perfect for relaxing but also close to beaches and towns for surfing and exploring. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, happy to help and assist with anything. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms spotlessly clean. Breakfast each morning was amazing; freshly baked cakes and fresh fruit plus loads more to fill you up for the day.

This place is amazing: serenity, clean and cozy rooms, beautiful and relaxing lounge, exceptional staff. Beautiful surroundings of the village and the Bordeira beach make this place perfect for romantic gateaway or a rest day for Rota Vicentina hikers!

My favourite hotel along Portugal’s west coast. The rooms are great and very comfortable, with a terrace overlooking the garden and warm pool. Such a peaceful place. Breakfast is prepared and served with lots of love and fresh ingredients, partially from their own garden. Short walk to the beach, numerous viewpoints and restaurants.

Don’t walk, run! This place is incredible. We came here for a weekend on our honeymoon and it honestly took our breath away. Everything about it was perfect and it was so peaceful and relaxing. Niccolò, haley and the rest of the team were all incredible. They blended into the background whilst being equally attentive when you needed something. The rooms were very clean and very comfortable beds! We won’t hesitate to come back and I hope that it will be very soon! Thank you so much for the dream stay!

This place was charming. The staff was amicable, the room was nice and cozy, and the whole place was calm and relaxing. They made fresh breakfast every day, which was delicious. Wifi works well, and bikes can be borrowed for free if desired. Each room has access to the terraces, from which one can see the mountains. There are plenty of outdoor sitting areas, a shared "living room/kitchen", fireplaces, and a swimming pool, which everyone can use in summer.

Great value for money! Lovely spacious house, basically a villa converted into a guesthouse. 4 rooms in total. One room has ensuite, one room has its own toilet/shower but outside the room and two rooms share a huge bathroom. Shared kitchen and big cosy living room. Also a garden and sun chairs for all guests to use. Spot clean. Comfortable bed. Recommended!

Friendly, helpful staff to check in. Good, clean building like a large house with own bedroom and shared bathroom, kitchen and sitting room, and garden. All absolutely fine. Close to a lovely beach and quiet town.

This property is truly amazing and Manuela the host is so helpful and welcoming. Upon entering the house you find a large living area with sofas, stove, TV, dining table for 6. Then there is a huge kitchen fully equipped and another dining table. Outdoor area is extremely big with sunbeds, hammock, seating and ample space where to hang laundry. One can have a very relaxing time enjoying the sunshine in peace and quiet. There are two dormitories, very airy with four beds in each, power sockets, chairs and facility to hang clothes. Lockers are also available. Bathroom facilities are really comfortable and these consist of one room with two toilets, one shower, three wash hand basins, another room with three toilets, 2 showers and three basins and also a separate room with toilet, shower and basin.

This hostel with 2 rooms containing 4 dorm beds each is wonderful. There are two bathrooms containing showers and toilets. No problem with accessibility for all guests. Manuela is a friendly and very patient host who really wants to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The place itself is very clean. The indoor living space feels homely, the internet works great, the beds have memory foam type mattresses - as many staying here are hiking on the Fisherman's Trail and Historic Trail (Rota Vicentina) these types of mattresses are supposed to be excellent for joints, so nice touch! The main part of Nature House for guests is actually outside, which is a really unique experience and perfect in warm, sunny weather. There is a stove for cooking, cooking utensils, a kettle, cafetiere, enough cups, glasses and cutlery. A large fridge. Everything you need. Ample parking if you come by car and a green space where you can sit and relax or sunbathe. While in a quiet and peaceful corner, it is very central in the pleasant tourist town of Odeceixe just minutes walk from places to eat and drink and 40 mins on the hiking path from the beach.

One of the best hostels I've ever been, quiet, spacious, comfy beds, 2 bathrooms and enough showers, AC and spacious living room. The garden and the big kitchen in the patio are amazing. Manuela, the owner, is very friendly, answers quickly, and is very helpful.

I was lucky to be alone there. The backyard is absolutely amazing! Nice, clean, and quiet. Cozy living room. ability to have breakfast/dinner outside is really nice.

Cozy and comfortable lodging in a quiet part of town. Staying here is like staying in someone’s home. There’s a living area with plenty of space to lounge/hang out. The outdoor kitchen also has a do in area and has direct access to the large backyard (with plenty of seating). The beds are comfortable and extra blankets are provided. Just a note that there is no reception/host on site but all the check in information is provided beforehand and communication is good.
