Friendly and accommodating! Pleasurable experience all the way around! Good parking, very clean, dining was great & the indoor pool/hottub were nice!

Front desk excellent, including phone contact ahead of time for questions. Timely and friendly. Portacrib provided upon request, clean and with clean bedding. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Great bath for bathing the babies and wonderful shower head. Plenty of soft clean towels. Excellent - outstanding, actually - breakfast. Oatmeal, eggs, sausage, potatoes, peppers and onions, waffles, cold fridge items, variety of hot and cold drinks. Caring and friendly breakfast staff service. High chair for baby. As a grandmother traveling with two little ones aged 1 and 2, this was clean, safe, friendly and highly recommended.

Upon arrival, we were given coupons for 3 drinks (full bar). Free dinner buffet; pulled pork sliders, cold slaw, salad, baked beans, hot dogs, chicken noodle soup. Plus help yiurself pop corn machine Amazing! Free breakfast buffet; eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, cereals, etc. Room was spacious and clean, bed comfortable, 5 fluffy pillows. All this for $100+ taxes. Can't beat it! Great experience!

Very clean, comfortable, friendly hotel. Bonus of having free drinks and meal buffet at night which we did not know about. The food and beverages were quite good and enjoyable. The room was large and spacious. The employees were all very friendly, kind and helpful.

Awesome hotel. We stayed one night passing through Amarillo. We requested a room with a mobility tub, which has grab bars in it. The room was great, at the end of the hall. Nice and clean, and with double beds. The front desk was very nice and welcoming. Large lobby area which was serving their Kickback Snacks time for guests. Very impressed with this hotel and will put this on my list to stay here again. Convenient to several restaurants, including a Red Robin, Jimmy Johns Sandwiches, Route 66 Family Buffet, Chuys Mexican and a steak house. Super close to I-40 which we needed due to travel. There is a Starbucks coffee and a shopping center just a mile or two south on Soncy Rd.

We are so happy with this property! Our room was amazing, everything was so clean & really nice! Very comfy beds & pillows, great bath linens, LOVED the shampoo, conditioner, & body wash!! (Seriously, can we buy that?!) The hotel is decorated beautifully, very aesthetically pleasing & Amarillo centered. The spa (hot tub) & pool were both clean & the temperature of each was perfect. The size of the room was great! Breakfast was so nicely done, with fresh real scrambled eggs, bacon, & so many other choices, there is literally something for everyone's taste! All of the employees we encountered were warm & friendly, & helpful. I highly recommend staying here when you're in Amarillo!

Clean, comfortable room & great bathroom with detachable head shower (yay!). Room was spacious, lovely & had a wonderful kitchenette, which unfortunately we didn’t really have time to use it as we arrived pretty late but it was fab to put some items in the fridge & be able to boil a pot of water on the little stove, so I could enjoy a cup of hot tea as most rooms only have a coffee maker & I don’t drink coffee. The complimentary breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice of hot & cold food & real butter for the toast, which I loved. As others have said, plastic cutlery & paper plates aren’t the most fun to use but I understand why places use them.

The location was easy to get to. The building is beautiful inside and out. It is well appointed and extremely clean. I have never seen so many guests sit in the common areas enjoying themselves. Every employee that I met was welcoming, accomodating, very friendly and helpful. Management, front desk, breakfast personnel, the wonderful housekeepers and maintenance were very good. Such an excellently trained and stellar staff. Our room was lovely and the beds were comfortable. Very pretty interior design throughout the property. The free breakfast was very good and a cut above what I've seen in other places. There are so many choices. Lisa and Anna at the front desk were especially great and made us feel very welcome. The swimming pool and hot tub are awesome as well. I really enjoyed that room very much. We felt very safe and were able to get the rest we really needed. Best hotel in Amarillo. We will definitely stay again. 10 out of 10!

From the moment you pull into the very well lit parking lot that’s super clean and see the outdoor sitting area and lighting it looks great. Entering the lobby it’s again well lit and super clean. Front desk personnel were friendly and professional. The place is super clean and just nice and well done. The hallways have LED bright lighting and good colors. Then there’s the room. What a positive surprise.The kitchen is amazing and fully stocked and again great colors and well designed. Nice decor and beds were nice and comfy. Bathrooms were well designed and super clean. I’ve stayed in a ton of hotels over last 30 years for business and had a ton of disappointments. This place was the nicest I’ve been to in dozens of years. For the price it’s an extreme value. I will always look for this company for future travel-business or pleasure.

This has to be one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and I travel a lot for work. Easy check-in/out with friendly staff. Room was modern, updated. Convenient location off the 40 freeway (“Cadillac Ranch” is just minutes down the road, went to see it for fun). Had a good variety of breakfast offerings, and staff was very attentive. It had both a pancake machine AND waffle maker. In addition to it being clean, it was also QUIET! I had a room down almost at the end of the hall, which I greatly appreciated.

Great overnight stay with spouse. We had a king suite which was very spacious and comfortable. The bed and bedding was comfy, ac worked great, room was spotless and quiet, and we had a great night ‘s sleep. The parking lot was well-lit and we felt comfortable coming and going. The breakfast was standard hot and cold items which were good, and coffee was on point. Would definitely stay here again. Best Western Medical City is doing a great job!

The indoor pool was so fun! The room was beautiful, clean, spacious and comfortable. The included breakfast was so good and an incredible value especially since they have espresso drinks as well. Front desk staff were very kind and helpful.

We were so pleased with our stay at this Best Western Plus! Our room was huge! Very clean & nicely decorated! It had the regular office chair, plus two other comfortable sitting chairs with footstool! Bed was very comfortable, although difficult for me to climb up on because it was higher off the floor than most. Bathroom was spacious & clean! Breakfast was good & included choices of scrambled eggs, sausage links, hashbrowns, biscuits, gravy, pancakes, waffles, as well as cereals, pastries, yogurt, etc. The young woman who checked us in could use some lessons in customer service. It wasn’t that she was rude - she just either had no personality or didn’t want to be bothered with doing her job. Other than that, everything was an A+ !!

After not sleeping the night before we hit road we need somewhere nice and comfortable to stay with a good breakfast for the following morning. This hotel hit the spot! It was nice, convenient, clean and comfortable! They were also very friendly towards our service dog. Not to mention we got our room on short notice, during one of busiest times of the year and after they had completely booked up the night before. 10/10 would highly recommend! We will be stopping here from now on during our CO road trips.

We were fully impressed with this hotel. The lobby was clean, spacious and had a wonderful aroma. We were happy to open the door to our room to find it welcoming and well appointed. The closet was large. The room had ample seating spaces, lights and table top areas. The bathroom was one of the largest I’ve seen except for luxury resorts. There was a TV in the bathroom! Dove body wash, shampoo and conditioner was provided in the shower/bathtub. The lights switches on the wall lit up with a little red light (nice touch)! Our king size bed was comfortable with labeled pillows (2 soft and 2 firm). We had a mini Keurig coffee pot, microwave and small fridge. The breakfast was fantastic with a lot of options. They had the auto pancake maker, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and sausage gravy, cereal, fruit, yogurt, muffins, cinnamon rolls, oatmeal, walnuts, apple juice, orange juice, lemonade, milk, chocolate milk and even Jif peanut butter packets! I would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

It was set back off the highway a little bit, so it was very quiet. It was very clean. Very comfy. Soft cozy bed. Fresh coffee in the morning. Was easy to find. Easy to get back on the highway. Lots of shopping and a drive thru Starbucks just down the road. I would definitely stay here again. Couldn’t believe the price! The same accommodations in another city cost $60 more! It was a pleasant surprise for a change. We have been traveling across the country for an entire month now and this was the least we’ve paid to stay, anywhere! And it was one of the MOST comfortable! So, thanks, for that!

The room was spacious, very clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was conveniently located close to restaurants and area attractions. Although I didn't eat the complimentary breakfast, it looked liked it had a nice variety, and there were many families enjoying it.

That the location was convenient off the interstate, the parking was safe, everything was very convenient. The comp breakfast was yummy, the coffee was delicious and the room was amazing!

The hotel was nice and rooms were clean. Staff was friendly and helpful - the gentleman at the front helped us switch out room because the first one that we got assigned was right in front of the elevator and we are light sleepers. The breakfast was good and the hotel was pet friendly - there were a lot of area to take our dog for a walk. The location was good and safe - we were moving across the country and had lots of things in our cars.

The room was very comfortable. It was nice to h an indoor pool and jacuzzi. There was a delicious and very satisfying breakfast with helpful staff. It was very conveniently located off the freeway. There was an extra sink, which was helpful when someone was showering, since the bathroom sink was in the same room as the shower and toilet. Parking was well lit.

BEST BED of our entire vacation so best sleep as well! Room was large and clean. Tiny bit of rust on bathroom ceiling light. Water pressure was strong in the evening but not so much in the morning. Ice machine was not working on 2nd floor. Hotel was quiet. Evening desk clerk was friendly. Did not see the breakfast hostess and therefore some of the breakfast items needed to be refreshed. I had the cinnamon rolls and sausage for breakfast and they were delicious! They also offered passion fruit juice at the juice dispenser and it was delicious! Did not see the morning desk clerk. Overall this is a very nice hotel and I would definitely stay here again. Could use some landscaping freshening up.

Wife and I stayed here while passing through and booked while driving. We should’ve priced other hotels before booking because we noticed this location was particularly higher than others; $149 here and other location $89. Check in was easy, room was nice & clean, beds are comfy with fluffy pillows, has mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, safe for valuables. Water pressure was low to medium range and the walls are thin as we could hear our neighbors talking and hear us as well apparently and our TV lol. Nice hotel with plenty of parking and restaurants nearby, has indoor pool and hot tub, fitness area, breakfast area (we didn’t try). We had a good rest, again nice clean hotel but pricing is much more than the other Holiday Inn off West Amarillo Boulevard and surrounding areas.

Large comfortable room was spotless, quiet and the bed was great. Big fluffy pillows instead little flat squares. The breakfast was great. About anything you might want. Everything was tasty, and the HIEx cimmamon rolls are always fresh and warm. The location was surrounded by restaurants and very convemient.

Overall, the hotel is very clean, and it looks like it has been recently renovated. The location of the hotel is close to shopping areas. They also provide a good breakfast with a good selection of food to choose from. The room is very clean and well maintained. The room has a microwave and a fridge, which is very convenient. They also provide a coffee maker with free coffee. The beds are clean and comfortable. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and provides good customer service. Overall, it is a good hotel to stay when in Amerillo.

The Executive King Room 230 was clean, comfortable and spacious for my wife and I. Bed and pillows were very comfy. Stayed one night for a break from the drive from Indy to Cali. Shower was hot. (2) large flat screens. One in the bed area and one in the small couched area. Very cool. The bar was open until 10:45pm on Saturday night. Friendly staff!! Skipped on the breakfast to hit the road early. Would definitely stay here again. Close to the freeway, fast food, gas and restaurants.

As a frequent traveler, I have to say that this hotel left a very positive impression on me. It’s very clean, modern, and perfectly located. The room was spotless. If you enjoy watching movies after a tiring journey, you’ll be surprised by the size of the TV – it’s almost like being in a cinema. Haha. If you need to work, there's a clever solution with a pull-out mobile desk that offers plenty of workspace. The bathroom is clean, and the mattresses are excellent. The room even has a chair for those who like to read before bed. My window view was of the highway, but if you enjoy watching cars go by, you’ll love it. The staff is very friendly. There are three elevators available in different locations. Breakfast is well-prepared and available in two locations – make sure to try the one by the lobby. I recommend this hotel to anyone who values a good night's sleep and a pleasant hotel stay. Oh, I almost forgot! The bathroom has a spectacularly large mirror with a touch button that lights up with LEDs from all sides – perfect for women, girls, moms, and wives! I traveled with my family (2 adults and 2 children), and we all enjoyed it. We all recommend this place.

The hotel was ok.. it was clean.the front desk people were super friendly and helpful..however we weren’t fond of the breakfast. The eggs were the typical hotel eggs.. the bacon icky…the biscuits hard and dry and the gravy was not good either...the additives for the oatmeal were stale.. brown sugar so hard I could not spoon it.. the breakfast was very underwhelming.. The coffee servers were all empty except the decaf. I guess to be expected for that type of arrangement but disappointing.. I have had better hotel breakfasts.

Only problem is pool is very cool, otherwise wonderful place. Very clean friendly helpful staff relaxing outdoor patio, great workout facility and comfy beds

My truck broke down in Amarillo on a trip from Norther IL to Tucson, Az. I was traveling with my dog. I was so lucky to land at this hotel! I could've have asked for a better place to land unexpectedly! The staff was incredibly accomodating, helpful and just generally kind. The whole experience could have been a nightmare, but I felt welcome and safe my whole stay. Everyone was friendly to my dog and made us feel welcome. Hands down, this will be where im staying if ever needing a place to stay in Amarillo! Thanks to all who made this rough time, feel like just another couple relaxing days of my vacation! So much appreciation!!

Check-in and check-out was easy. The buffet breakfast provided was excellent with numerous options. The staff kept it well stocked and clean. Non-disposable dinnerware was used. The property was kept very clean. The staff was very friendly. The fitness room was clean and well-equipped. The room was very well-appointed and showed some imagination with an elevated area on the vanity to allow more room for placing toiletries and other items and knobs in various places for hanging clothes or other personal items. There was a large television with good reception. The room had comfortable beds, was spacious, and quiet. There were good dining options within a reasonable distance. I didn’t give the surrounding area a 5 star rating because the area is under development and has some roadwork that needs to be finished. Overall, I highly recommend this property and consider it a great value for the price.

Best hair care products and breakfast was amazing! Bed and pillows are perfect 😍 the breakfast, waffles, bacon, fruit, eggs, potatoes, and good coffee made a perfect start of the day!! Clean and modern room with couch perfect to relax and unwind from the day’s work!!!

Wonderful experience from checking in and out. The front desk staff were friendly and offered helpful tips to improve my stay. The hotel room was clean and comfortable with a comfortable bed and pillows. Free Breakfast was fresh and delicious.

The Hyatt place in West Amarillo is an excellent choice. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The breakfast is good and a nice variety. They serve breakfast on plates instead of plastic, which is great. There is plenty of parking. This is not a hotel within walking distance of restaurants. Restaurants are nearby however. It is right off the interstate, but in a quiet location.

Extraordinary find! We stopped mid-way through a road trip after a 14 hour drive and were so happy with this place. Everything is brand new, clean, and staff is friendly and welcoming. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Bathroom felt like those in much more expensive properties. Breakfast was perfect and just what we needed for the drive back to Denver.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. As is typical of BW, comfortable beds and very clean! Good breakfast! Location is easier to get to for those traveling east, but still easy to get to. Love the fact that I can trust Best Western for clean rooms and comfortable beds!

The location is not glamorous. It is right off of I40 on the east end of Amarillo, BUT the hotel was impeccably clean, the staff helpful and friendly, the pool was great, beds comfortable, hot shower with great water pressure, AND breakfast was surprisingly good! I pass through Amarillo quite a bit and this will be my new place to stay!

The place is clean and smells great great king size bed comfortable mattress and good customer service at desk on Night Shift Breakfast was ok this day not warm enough and could have been better prepared. Dining room was very clean and friendly staff We do recommend this place for a good night sleep and convenient for everything else

Everything, the place was impeccable,clean,welcoming, beds were so comfy.Breakfast wad fantastic,lady called Dina was greeting everyone which was magic.so handy to get on the Highway,Walmart etc just down the road. Recommend to stay,place was extremely clean and well maintained.

It was very clean. Easy Access off highway. The hotel was modern, clean. The room was vey nice comfortable King bed. They have a full buffet breakfast in the mornings.

Hotel very well located, in the city center, with spacious parking. It seems new and the lobby is well decorated. The breakfast is very good. The ladies who work for breakfast are very welcoming and helpful. The reception staff, however, are not at all friendly or welcoming. Damage ... The room was spacious, very pretty and very clean. During our 3 nights, we encountered a lot of dogs. Our neighbors had one or two dogs that barked during the evening. Customers who own dogs are not serious! In the lobby, we even saw dogs sitting on the pretty fabric sofas. They can damage living rooms,sofas ! Dogs are never very clean! This is unacceptable! Management should ban animals in common areas like the lobby! In summary, here is a hotel to recommend in this small town.

We stay here a lot for business trips. Definitely the best hotel in the area. This visit was better than last. Grounds were in much better shape. Unfortunately the hot tub was down while waiting on a part to repair it and the sauna is still screwed shut. The breakfast is by far the best hotel breakfast I have had. They have a huge selection and also have made to order omelets. The staff as usual was fantastic. Everything was clean. There is a nice bar area and restaurant on site. The gym is fantastic with lots of options. The view is always amazing. I love looking out the window in my room. If you are in the area I highly recommend checking them out.

When we first got here it was very clean and spacious, then we laid down on the bed and it was so comfortable, and then we woke up in the morning for breakfast and it was the best breakfast ever at a hotel, staff was very helpful and friendly. This is a beautiful property right downtown. Everything was modern, clean and crisp and the food was great. This properties breakfast and evening bar was wonderful and the bartenders we very friendly and kept the room engaged and happy. The property does offer premium rooms with additional snacks included, the shower was amazing.

I was pleasantly surprised by Townplace. I am usually a Hilton gal, but I had my 90-year-old father with me, and we needed a place with a refrigerator and a proper chair, not a desk chair. I was scared when we first pulled in, as the Motel 6 clients were sketchy. The Motel 6 is next door and shares a parking lot. It also has an odd "front" door. However, once inside, I felt better. Michelle was the woman who checked us in and was super friendly and bubbly. We had been in the car for 12 hours, and it was nice to have someone so outgoing. Once in the room, it was clean and the kitchen area was way more than we needed for a night. The hallways are wide and bright. The bathroom was clean and I enjoyed the products provided. The AC kept the room comfortable. The queen beds had four pillows and were clean and comfortable. The breakfast had warm items, and the staff were friendly as well. I wish I had more time to use the gym or pool, but both looked clean. The parking lot was bright, and I was told they do have security at night to watch. We had a ton of stuff in our car and didn't want to unpack it all. The front desk area also has a small shop with drinks, snacks, and some frozen foods. On the other side is an old Hampton Inn. They have rebranded it as Spark by Hilton, and I still stayed at the Marriott. Overall, it was a pleasant night. I will keep Towneplace on my radar moving forward.

For a frequent traveler like myself, it’s the small things that make the difference. Although they accommodate pets, this hotel is decorative and clean. Staff are nice. Room furniture is in good condition: sheets are fresh and not old/worn/dirty-looking. Housekeeping is amazing and attentive to to my requests for extra towels/garbage bags etc. They even create simple origami-like designs w the bath towels ☺️. Breakfast is warm (scrambled eggs fluffy) and a nice variety of food options (parfait, yogurts, cereal, fruit, waffles, cold cereal, oatmeal). Salsas and ranch dressings for those of us who like a lil extra kick to breakfast was a nice touch, as was the large canister of hazelnut flavored cream for your coffee (not only the small travel size creamers). Fitness center is clean and a good size for my morning workout. Only downside is the entrance is not that easy to find: main entrance actually looks like the side entrance, so check-in day you gotta figure that out. Thanks for a great stay!

This is a typical TownePlace Suites. I checked in early and was fortunate to be able to immediately get into a room, even though it was an accessible room. There was no significant difference for my purposes. Very clean and excellent service. There's a mini-kitchen which has an almost full sized refrigerator/freezer, which was helpful in my being able to re-freeze my ice bags. Breakfast buffet is good and basic. You won't go hungry at breakfast here. Lots of choices. The bed was quite comfortable, and the room was quiet at night. The fitness room is well stocked with physio machines. The pool is good size but it is fully indoors. On a 95 degree day, it would have been nice to be able to be outside. There's two outdoor grills near the entry which I saw others using to cook outdoor meals. The parking lot is well lit, with substantial free parking. The front desk person said that it was secured by patrol. The only downside is that the price was 10% more than I anticipated considering the nearby competition. Overall, I was satisfied, rested, and clean.

Excellent. Cucumber water as you enter lobby! Breakfast includes cage-free eggs (not powdered egg garbage you find elsewhere), Greek yogurt, fresh fruit cup (pineapple/melon), blueberry granola parfait, sausage patty, another patty, fresh apples, banana, and usual carbs (muffins, breads) cream cheese, walnuts, pumpkins seeds, choc. Chip! Decent hotel coffee and earl grey/lemon/4 flavors tea. Excellent staff. Highly attentive breakfast servers. Room good. Was a little concerned that it was adjacent to freeway, but very minimal road noise/almost no road noise even for a light sleeper like me! Good job for building thicker walls or adding insulation compared to other chain hotels. Parking lot felt safe/secure/good lighting/cameras/tucked further back even motel nearby! This might be a reason why the front door entrance confuses people-because it is a side main entrance! Internet a little slow. Would highly recommend!

This was a lovely hotel. We ended up having a roll in shower because it was the last suite available. It would have been nice to know that there were no normal suites. Normally it would have been okay, but they need to have curved shower curtains for these showers. The shower curtain kept sticking to us so we had to leave it open to shower. Bed was comfortable and clean. The hot tub was great. Breakfast was full of options and well put out. Overall this was a great place for a one night stay in Amarillo

While the rooms appeared dated, the beds were comfortable and the pillows firm. The breakfast was modest, but acceptable. I'm not ready to have a jacuzzi in the same room as where I'm sleeping. The room was the best well lit that I've had. The available crib needs to be a newer type (The slats are too far apart.). The staff was friendly and helpful. However, the staff between shifts needs to communicate better. In our communication at different people, each had no clue as to request for a pac and play/crib.

The pool is very comfortable and clean and pretty. The breakfast had sausage, egg, and cheese biscuits to microwave. They also had honey buns, waffles, muffins, cereal with milk, great coffee, yogurt, toast, and apples. The rooms are very clean, nice, and comfortable. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Parking lot was clean and had plenty of parking. It is located at a great location, also. No coffee pot in the room because you can get coffee in the lounge. The lounge is very nice. They had a blow dryer, ironing board, soap, shampoo, conditioner, plenty of towels, wash clothes, floor towels, hand towels, and pillows. Pillows are comfortable. Had tv but we didn’t try it out. Carpet was nice and clean.

Nice Surprise on the I-40! We just needed a clean, convenient overnight stop, and we found this little gem. The room was comfortable and nicely appointed, the breakfast was great (Texas-shaped waffles!), and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We'll be back!

Nice place, clean room, very spacious! Loved the kitchenette...would have been great for a longer stay over but perfect for an overnight stay on the road! Cassi was especially helpful at check in. Nice outdoor seating area with a firepit for relaxing in the breeze. Didn't eat the breakfast but it smelled delicious. Pool area clean and big!! My only complaint is the directions make you drive through other hotel parking lots that are in HORRIBLE CONDITION but that is more a Google Maps issue than the hotel's.

We loved everything about this hotel! Jessica, the front desk mgr was very friendly and helpful. Kaila, Cindy and Shawna served breakfast with a very friendly and warm greeting. They were very attentive to my needs. The breakfast area was very clean, and well stocked with a variety of foods. The salt water hot tub is 100% great! The salt water swimming pool was large. It was a little bit cold for my taste, but we had the whole swimming area often to ourselves. The workout room is centrally located and very clean. It was mostly unused, also. We plan to stay at Home2 Suites in Amarillo the next time we are in town.

Great comfortable room and sleep. Clean, modern hotel, and quite. Room is clean and modern, and so is the bathroom. Comfortable bed, sheets, pillows and towels. Parking perfect. Have been here before and will stay here again. Highly recommend. Highly recommend if you plan on visiting The Big Texan Restaurant (which I also highly recommend)

My husband and I sent one night here and I really liked the room and location. We had been driving for a while so was tired and hungry. The front desk staff was very courteous and welcoming. The cookies in the lobby were delicious! Great location - restaurants in walking distance. The room was very cozy and spacious. The room was also very clean! We had a room with a king bed. I liked the love seat and the big sized TV. It was comfortable to relax and watch TV and we got a great night sleep. Hotels beds are typically too soft for our liking but our bed was on the firmer side. We still prefer a more firmer bed but it was refreshing that it wasn't super soft. We will definitely stay here again when driving through Amarillo!

Located in renovated, historic, downtown building. Good job of remodeling. Manager, David, was on site and visiting with customers! Staff were helpful and recommended two good local Italian restaurants . Room was very nice with nice view. They still have the Marriott problem in that the bistro costs too much and only serves Starbucks coffee. The competition offers breakfast included. Great place to stay in Amarillo!

Glad we chose to stay here as our king suite was very clean and spacious, and the parking garage was right behind the hotel and very reasonably priced. We were pleasantly surprised when we realised we could buy breakfast….selection was good and food was very tasty. A big shoutout to Leah who was the chef!. Good location for other bars and restaurants.

It was excellent!! I requested a room with a view on the top floor we did get the 9th floor which was perfect. What an amazing room we had 2 views windows throughout. Loved it!! Wonderful beds, so comfortable, even the pillows were comfortable! Staff was amazing, friendly and helpful with suggestions on where to eat and shop. The continental breakfast was delicious and lots of options, clean and not crowded or chaotic.

A super comfy bed after a 12 hour car ride was just what we needed and just what we got. Very clean property and the man at the front desk was friendly. The breakfast was fast and convenient. It's very close to a Buccees. It's right off the freeway which was convenient for road trip purposes, but you did not hear the traffic which is great!

Great Hotel room was nice, bed very comfortable with comfortable pillows. Breakfast was very nice, very quiet area and great for pets. Plus it is about 6 miles from the famous Big Texan restaurant with the 72oz steak. We did eat there, it was ok. But the atmosphere was fun. And the waitresses were great.

We appreciated our stay at this affordable, pet-friendly hotel and enjoyed a friendly welcome from the gentleman working the front desk upon our arrival. He tried to find us a room towards the back of the hotel where we could see our truck and trailer and be further away from the road noise but those rooms were booked. Our room was very clean and comfortable but the highway noise and the light pollution was not conducive to restful sleep. I struggled and had to place a pillow over my ears and eyes when I awoke at 2am. It would be decent and respectful if other patrons traveling with pets would pick up after their pets in the grassy areas. We would stay at this clean and friendly hotel again but only if our room is towards the back as far away from the highway as possible.

I recently stayed at this motel on the eastern edge of Amarillo while returning from a trip to Colorado. I was impressed by the subtle amenities found in the Guestroom, such as a blackout shade on the window, a walk-in tile shower with glass doors, very nice linens in the bedroom and bathroom, spacious quartz nightstands on both sides of the bed with good lighting, soft carpet, and an upholstered luggage stand. Even though the hotel is located very close to the airport and my room was on the top floor, I did not hear any airplane sounds during the night. The breakfast which included the standard items was very good and the food service and dining areas were very clean and well-organized. The neutral color scheme and decor provide a very modern and relaxed ambiance.

So impressed with this location. It’s the perfect halfway stop for us every time. The staff is always so incredibly friendly. The rooms are clean and welcoming. The beds are so comfortable! We love the free continental breakfast in the mornings so we don’t have to think as we drive on. Definitely would stay here again and again. The location is perfect because it’s right off 40, there’s restaurants all nearby and it’s a quiet hotel.

Everything about this hotel is 10/10. Staff upon check-in were cheerful and friendly. Room was spacious and super clean. Extra linens. Quiet halls and no noise from neighbors. Dark room. Fitness center was nice and all machines and weights in working condition. Breakfast was outstanding and breakfast staff were accommodating and friendly. We will look for Springhill Suites from now on!

Great check in, Kesha was very professional. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I’m never happy to see those stupid frosted glass sliding doors on the bathroom, I can’t understand why a hotel designer thought that would be a good idea !. Breakfast was lacking waffles and ready made oatmeal like most Marriotts offer, but otherwise this was a very nice hotel and a good choice for easy on/off Rt40. Lots of nice restaurants really close for a good dinner before settling in for the night.

1. The room was spacious and clean. 2. Staff was amazing and accommodating. 3. There were 3 tv’s behind the bar. All of them were on news channels that had the same propaganda. It would have been great if the hotel showed differing views for all Americans. The volume was low, so we were able to focus on the breakfast.

05.14.25 - King bed, 2nd floor, Buffet Breakfast! - This is a great property and great staff. I have nothing but praise for the staff's welcoming manner, attention to requests and willingness to assist. The buffet breakfast is by far the highlight! The variety, freshness, options of condiments and beverages PLUS the presentation of the food is FAR beyond what a hotel of this caliber usually offers. I felt as if it was a restaurant, which happened to have a hotel inside it...not the other way around. Very nice! The only thing needed improvement is the condition of the room. I had a king bed, desk, armchair and armoire...plus the usual corresponding furniture. The room door is odd. It's a key-swipe lock, but the handle is inverted, so you pull up instead of push down. This is unlike ANY hotel I ever stayed in, plus the door sticks, the security latch is loose which damaged the wood, so in general the door is cumbersome to operate. The top of the armoire was so dusty, when I wiped it down, the hand towel was black with my handprint on it. The floors were mostly clean; some spots were sticky. The bedding and pillows were great; feather down pillows and crisp white sheets. There is no towel rack in the bathroom, however, so you need to get creative and hang towels "somewhere else". Speaking of hangers, the hooks do not match the bar on which they hang so they constantly fell to the floor. The room just needs a make-over and update. Otherwise, 8.5 of 10 Recommend! Thnx

A basic hotel/motel without much frills. Check in was fast and friendly. Room is clean and comfortable. Everything works. Fairly easy walk to several restaurants (the better ones are on the north side of the freeway). Gave it 5 stars because of its good value and friendly/helpful staff.

Read the great reviews before we booked it and the hotel lived up to the 10's!!! Very clean, tidy and comfortable. Check in very easy and accommodating! Breakfast nice as well. The location and surrounding area a bit disappointing but would stay again. Perfect when you are road weary and need a comfy nite.

Nice hotel but I was constantly trying to make sense of my surroundings. It was NOT luxurious. It was not calming. It was clean and spacious. The driveway is stamped concrete and gives a rustic vibe. Makes sense because you’re in Texas, after all. Then the lobby and restaurant/bar (which really just looks like a breakfast room with a small bar) is (I guess) Scandinavian? People at the desk are friendly. We had a quick dinner and a couple of drinks at the bar/restaurant. Their wine list was not quite bare minimum (no moscato lol). The food was good. Hubby had a huge burger that was good. Staff was friendly. The bedroom was the “Scandinavian” look with brown and orange carpet but blue and green art? And a barn door for the closet and bath. It was spotlessly clean. Toiletries were Bath and Body Works samples. The bedding was so comfortable! And they had pillowcases that said “soft” and “firm” so there was a choice of pillows! The comfy bed and pillows were really appreciated. There’s a keurig drink bar and a microwave in the room. It was a nice stay. If my brain hadn’t been so weirded out by the decor the experience would have been better. I just couldn’t get past the weirdness.

My family and I stayed here twice in the past week. once by chance, stopping very late at night after the end of a long travel day. The night time desk clerk was friendly, and the room was spacious, clean, and very comfprtable. The next morning we at their very good breakfast buffet, and our four year old had some time to use the beautiful indoor pool. Though exhausted we were delighted by our stay and mad certain to stop back there again on the return trip. It did not disappoint. Once again the room was comfortable and very clean, and even though we arrived very near the end of the breakfast buffet, they were very friendly and did not hesitate to bring out new, fresh items, and replenish the waffle batter (have to take advantage of that waffle iron for the fresh waffle). My wife had a very nice conversation with the food service manager who was incredibly friendly. Every person I encountered there in both stays was friendly and helpful. Any time future travel or business brings me or the family to Amarillo I will certainly stay here again.

We were passing through Amarillo and new we where having dinner at The Big Texan we looked for a girl that was close by the restaurant. We were so pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The location was amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel is super clean. Our room was ginormous!!!! The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and it was nice they had a full bar and restaurant. We will definitely stay here again passing through.

Highly recommended! From Customer service to cleanliness- 5 star! The meds were incredibly comfortable and the halls were quiet. (Especially loved the blackout shades!) Enjoy a reasonably priced breakfast bar of fresh food, clean areas, oh…and really good coffee!

Overall, the 2-day trip at the Holiday Inn in Amarillo, the one next to the Big Texan, was excellent. The room was spacious, modern-looking, quiet, had comfortable beds n pillows, and had plenty of storage and hanging hooks which made it easy to organize visually. The water pressure when showering was not strong, but okay. The breakfast on Saturday morning was cold and biscuits were hard. Much better Sunday morning. The lobby staff were friendly and much appreciated.

We left East Texas later than we expected on our way to Colorado. It had been a long stressful day. We had not planned to stop for the night, but both my husband and I were too tired to drive further. So, while our Tesla was charging at the station, I noticed this Super 8 nearby. I looked them up on Tripadvisor and found they had a reasonable price, a vacancy, and were pet friendly. I booked immediately. The front desk staff was welcoming and very helpful. The hotel lobby, stairwell and hallway were extremely clean. (If you don't know, you can judge how much the owner/manager likes his/her job by how clean the stairwells are.) The room, bedding and bath were exceptionally clean. The bed was comfortable. The biggest surprise was the hot breakfast! I expected prepackaged muffins and not much else, but this hotel had scrambled eggs, good sausage, biscuits, gravy and a waffle maker. And they served very good Brothers coffee. And yes, they had prepackaged muffins. I have had worse breakfasts at hotels I paid three times as much for, or worse, no breakfast offered at all at the expensive places. I say "Good Job" Super 8 East, Amarillo. Keep up the good work!

The room and building were clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast was very good: scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, waffles, sausage, coffee, tea and a breakfast room. This is a convenient place to stay and the staff is friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the facility and the room. The motel was nice and quiet and I got some good rest. The room was adequate and the bathroom very clean. The location might have some age to it, but the facility is kept up and clean. I didn't have the complimentary breakfast but the area was kept clean and orderly for sure. A bargain for the price and right off the main highway. I'll be staying here again when the I pass through town.

The front desk staff was wonderful... very friendly... very helpful. The kitchen staff was great... again, very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast food was better than normal as far as hotel breakfast food is concerned. We really appreciated the complimentary ice and water.

We arrived several hours past the check in time, it was almost midnight! The front desk checked us in fast and was very friendly. The Beds were comfortable. The breakfast was very enjoyable and all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Made our stay very relaxing.

I was happy with this place the minute I pulled off of the Interstate. It was easy to get to but off of the Interstate so it was quiet and clean. The receptionist was very friendly and courteous and made sure all of my questions were answered right down to the question about the Pet Area. They all were always attentive and smiling when we walked through the lobby. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The only complaint I have was the WiFi didn't seem fast enough to run the games on the Tablet. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the HVAC was quiet and kept the room comfortable. Shopping and restaurants were nearby, some within walking distance. We will be staying here again.

The hotel was clean, the room and bed very comfortable and staff friendly. It is located in an area a bit back from the interstate and it was quiet. The one downside is that there is no continental breakfast and it is not close to restaurants that serve breakfast. There is free coffee and instant oatmeal but nothing suitable for a diabetic, for example. It would help if the little store had fruit or granola bars or something healthier to purchase.

Very spacious room with kitchen facilities. Nicely decorated and very comfortable, high bed (pillows and duvet very comfy). A few chips in the tiles/walls in bathroom but otherwise all good. Complimentary butter popcorn and makeup wipes which is a nice touch and also supply large bottles of conditioner/shampoos and shower gel (as oppose to many hotels who don't offer all of these). They don't offer breakfast but they do have a little shop by reception to purchase snacks and they offer complimentary teas/coffees. It was a nice comfortable stay here.

Well kept property- comfortable bed, soft towels, clean, nice room. Has kitchenette, no real breakfast. full cable TV line up, not just DISH. Had a short but pleasant stay. Attended an event at Hodgetown, which was very close- about 8 minutes away. Very convenient to downtown, close to shopping and restaurants.

It was close to the Northwest Texas hospital where I had been for 4 days with cardiac arrest. Wanted to stay close to the hospital. Very comfortable, but the light on the mirror in the bathroom was out, soap trays in the shower are really slick and nothing would stay on them. The bar manager went out of her way to make sure we could get food in our room for dinner that night. The food was really good. The morning breakfast was excellent! Our waitress was Bernadette and was friendly and excellent. J. D. was also helpful as we thought breakfast as over at 9:30 so thought we missed it. J.D said 10:00 if we hurried we could still get in. Chef D was really nice, came out and talked to us. Nice room for breakfast,was quiet and relaxing. A lot of food that was really good. If we are ever back in Amarillo we will stay there again.

Let me start by saying I am a Diamond Club member with Hilton Honors, but due to a bed bug experience, I will no longer be staying at that hotel in Amarillo. Now to this hotel. Absolutely amazing. Carlos at the front desk set the tone for my visit. He made check in an absolute great experience. Then after looking over my room, to make sure it was bug free, he called me by name as I went out to bring in my luggage. He called me by name on every encounter. I had dinner and drinks in the lobby at the bar. Cindy was equally as amazing. Customer service was top notch. My business partners and I have a new favorite hotel brand in Amarillo. Thanks again to Carlos and Cindy for outstanding hospitality.

Stayed here for a couple of days. Excellent location close to the highway but far enough back to not hear the noise Rooms were large, clean and comfortable Luis on reception was very friendly and helpful Have stayed in several hotels in past visits but this will now be our go to hotel when we’re in Amarillo

The hotel was going through remodeling but was very clean and fresh. The room was nice and very quiet. The bed was also very comfortable. The parking lot was well lit and seemed safe. The breakfast was the same ole same ole, nothing worth eating. Grabbed a yogurt and cinnamon roll. Only two REALLY negatives, the female that checked us in was not friendly as if it were a chore to do her job. We requested a top floor but were told there wasn't one available. The other negative was all of the unsafe roofing nails in front of the building walkway and driveway.

We chose this hotel for its location near the highway as we were visiting the local state parks. Well lit parking lot. Friendly front desk staff. We were traveling with our two dogs, together under 25lbs, and were charged $25/night pet fee. Our room was well appointed, clean, HVAC operated well, curtains closed all the way (important when on the first floor), tv worked well, as did the wi-fi. Fridge and microwave, and pod coffee maker in the room. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning (well prepared) with a full range of choices. A Neighborhood Walmart and gas station are within a 5-minute drive. A little challenging getting into the location due to road construction. Want to view a movie? Cinemark is next door.

Husband, myself, and our chihuahua stayed for one night. Hotel seemed immaculate and staff was very kind. Our room was spotless,(and I’m very picky) had absolutely no dog-room odor, and was extremely modern and clean. They gave us a to-go breakfast in the morning! Very happy customer!

Large room with comfortable bed and pillows. Conveniently located off I-27 on the far south side of town. Friendly staff. It's a fairly new property so everything is fresh and clean. Lots of road construction nearby but this was not a problem. The sound insulation between rooms seemed a bit light as I could hear the people next door.

We stayed here when we couldn’t get a campground at Palo Duro Canyon, a beautiful place about 15 mins away. Not much to do in town. Safe and clean but no restaurants close by. Need to drive. Good free breakfast in the am and courteous staff.

The room looked really clean and it smelled clean. I don't have any complaints about it since I only stayed for one night but I was comfortable and my room served its intended purpose. I did very much enjoy the free breakfast while there wasn't a wide variety of options to choose from it was still good and delicious. I especially loved the waffles.

The room was clean and comfortable and was as described. The bathroom could use a little upgrading nothing fancy but definitely utilitarian. Great location right on the interstate. The pool outside was good they provided towels and the free breakfast was your basic breakfast. I would recommend staying here based on value location and property.

Room was clean - felt safe at night - breakfast was adequate. Nice attendant helping vs some don't even have one these days! Pet was accepted for a small fee. Plenty of space to take him or for a walk nearby! McDonalds, Ihope and few other places to including nice Tex Mex options within walking distance!

My family did a road trip and this was our fifth hotel stay. Overall, it was a good experience. I would recommend for any family, personal or corporate travel. It was quiet, and the room was overwhelmingly spacious. This was my family's favorite hotel room. It was comfortable, it had a kitchenette, and it was VERY well air conditioned. We brought food in and the room was already equipped with silverware, cups, etc. We were able to store left overs in the full size fridge. The breakfast was exceptional. My kids loved the Texas shaped waffles and my husband enjoyed the seasoned potatoes. The staff was exceptionally friendly. Checking in and out was fast. The only pitfalls were that the room was obviously worn and the only elevator had some kind of pet poop smeared on it. The room had broken handles on some closets, cracked tiles in the bathroom, and the pull out couch mattress had to be at least 15yrs old (it was stained and didn't have a mattress cover). Thankfully, our stay wasn't hindered by that. The elevator was an issue and my family ended up walking the stars.

Location away from traffic is very good for tranquility. Free parking right out front was great and safe. Staff are attentive and friendly. Happy Hour Social snacks, drinks, are tasty and really appreciated. Breakfast was also great with plenty of variety, eggs, make your own waffles, and assortment of fresh fruits. Three varieties of Coffees (including decaf) are very good. My room was large, with comfy bed and seating areas. Good bed and bath linens. Love the full size fridge, dishwasher, and dishwater in the room.

Other than the high price for a nights stay...the hotel was very nice. Overall the room was nice. With the exception of the cushions on the ottomans that were dirty, the room was pretty clean. Beds super comfortable! Best sleep ever! The best part was breakfast. They had a great variety of breakfast foods including a fruit & yogurt buffet. Kids liked the Texas shaped waffles with whip cream & sprinkles. I liked the pop machine!

We love this hotel for a quick stay when driving though Amarillo! The staff is super friendly, rooms are spacious, affordable pricing, family friendly and both times we have been they have served a complimentary dinner & had a “social hour” with complimentary beverages! Their breakfast is also very good- lots of options! We will be back here anytime we’re in the area!

We stayed at one of the newly renovated rooms on the 15th floor which was a refreshing change compared to pre-renovation. A huge TV was now in place as well as a nicer and what seems like larger fridge. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The room was exceptionally clean. The person who checked us in was super-friendly and engaging.

After a long drive thru Arizona & New Mexico I arrived at the hotel in Amarillo Texas. I was met & greeted by the most gracious and friendly Ms. Pamela King who helped me in ways that can only be described as kind, caring, friendly and efficient, she was exactly the perfect person for the moment and I needed the kindness that she put forth upon check in and again later when I entered the lobby to go to the restaurant. Ms. King makes an effort to connect with her customers, something that is not seen often in this day and age. A true gem. The room was so comfortable and clean, the bed like a cloud after the day driving, the shower (while lacking the water pressure I prefer) was spacious well equipped with shampoo conditioner and body soap and was large enough for 2. The bartender (sorry no name) was so friendly and suggested the bbq chicken flatbread which was delicious along with a cold glad of white wine. Checking out was a breeze, drop your key and get an email receipt. I definitely would recommend this hotel. If ever in Amarillo again I will be back. Thank you Pamela King and the rest of the wonderful staff.

My wife and I had a good stay here. Our room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. Beds were very comfortable. HV/AC functioned well. Parking was readily available. Personnel were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was an extra charge but it was very good. Our only negative was that our door latch did not function properly. It was difficult to both lock and unlock.

The hotel was easy to access and right off the highway, ample parking. The space was beautifully newly renovated, the room clean, no off smells, stains or bed bugs. staff was friendly, helpful and very welcoming, breakfast was great. Should not be 3.5 star hotel

On our way to the mountains and needed a place in Amarillo. The Drury across the street is always packed with kids and dogs. So we went with this place. It kind of tries to be a more modern looking place but it’s age makes that a little diff. The shower in the bathroom kind of says it all. But it’s a decent place to stay for the night. Kind of pricey considering you have to fill out a W2 just to get the free Wi-Fi and the breakfast is not complimentary. But I will tell you this, it’s quiet. It is so quiet. Minus the kids and the dogs it is a better option than the Drury if you want a peaceful nights sleep. We’ll stay there again when passing through, but just wanted to leave an informative review.

A weekend getaway and this was the perfect place to stay. The room is large, plenty of space and it was clean. The bed was very comfortable. Big shower with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The staff were always pleasant. The check in was quick and easy. The hotel is right by the mall and lots of restaurants or fast food places are right in the area. We plan on staying here on our next visit.

I stay at Motel 6 frequently when traveling cross country, because I often just need a bed and a shower. I know they are no frills, and they are very affordable. This location is clean, with friendly staff, and close to restaurants and other amenities. Reading other recent reviews here, maybe all the rooms aren't updated yet? In my room, everything worked, and it was clean and comfortable, and updated. Microwave, fridge, door locks worked fine, which is often a concern at some properties. Convenient parking, quiet. Lobby even has a computer for guests to use. Morning coffee was pretty good, unlike some other locations. My only complaint was that the bed was too firm and pillows were flat. And the shower curtain was a bit threadbare.

A vehicular break drown forced me to spend the night in Amarillo. This motel was close to where my truck was serviced so I made the most of it. I made my reservation online and asked only that my room be on the first floor. I got a queen-sized bed for my dogs and me. The room was quiet and I slept well. It was a room reserved for mobile handicapped with a walk-in shower. The hotel filled up fast. Glad I made my reservations early in the afternoon. Wifi access was at no additional charge and was strong. You get 54 cable channels. This hotel is in walking distance to a few fast-food and sit-down restaurants. I'd stay here again. I like Amarillo's west side. Lots of great restaurants here.

No complaints against the motel. Stayed 3 nights. Most important thing for me is that the room is clean and the bed is comfortable, and they delivered on both. Staff was friendly and helpful. Area is a bit noisy, but close to just about any restaurant, shopping center, and attraction you might want.

The lady at the check in desk was Very helpful and friendly. Room was clean cool and comfortable.

The lady at the front desk was very nice she showed me on the map where the room was. Very good lady. Dog friendly of coarse. I had two dogs. Bags in dog area stocked no issue. You got some oil field/pipeline boys there not to friendly that's ok they dont get respect they deserve but ill give them the respect i know it a labor intensive job. It was just an overnight stay but ill be back next trip. Convenient store .04 miles up the road.

Great. Clean rooms at great value. Friendly and helpful staff. The room had everything I needed for my stay. Decent selection of TV channels to choose from. Bed was clean and comfortable. Do only things I can say could be an improvement is if the parking lot had more spots open.

The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. After my car broke down unexpectedly, they helped me track down mechanics and even arranged for one of their own maintenance team (who’s also a mechanic) to fix it. The staff worked to keep my extended stay affordable and really went above and beyond. They turned a stressful situation into a manageable one with their helpfulness and care. For that alone, I’d give this a solid 4 out of 5 stars. The breakfast was solid too — loved the Belgian waffles, scrambled eggs, hash browns, toast, cereal, coffee, and more. Clean room, comfortable enough even in a Texas heatwave.

Staff friendly. Easy checkin. Clean room and functional. The door to room wouldn’t stay shut unless locked so had to get up to let my husband in each time. Breakfast was okay. No fruit. Difficult to figure out our in room coffee pot. It’s a budget hotel with budget cost.

Very good location staff was very polite. Excellent breakfast very good value comfortable bed. Clean shower really enjoyed staying there.
