hotel was a winfield until january 2025 when a new owner bought the property and it became a best western plus. we stayed 3 nights. everyday the free hot breakfast was wonderful. each day was different day 1 delicious scrambled eggs bacon and sausage, day two cheese omlettes cut potatoes and sausage, day 3 pancakes eggs over hard and sausage. this is in addition to what they serve everyday muffins blueberry, chocolate and nut. cereal toast yogurt and they have coffee and tea available all day long. there is a quick trip gas station 1 block away where you can buy pre-made dinner meals for $5.99, as well as all types of hot sandwhiches soda liquor cigarettes lottery tickets gas instead of going to expensive restaurants for lunch and dinner we bought all our hot food from this quick trip. plus it is just 2 miles from the airport

The staff here went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and it was actually a shame to leave, I could not have asked for anything else, there was a friendly welcome at the front desk, a friendly face at breakfast and a friendly face at check out too. My room was very clean and of a very good size, the facilities in this hotel also were good, although I didn’t have time to use them I did have a look, and everything was so well kept. I would recommend staying here, I would definitely stay again!

Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. Pool was nice for the kids to play in. They has a few picnic tables in the back that were nice to sit at for some fresh air. The road construction made it tricky to get to the main road, but nothing they could help!

This was the perfect location to stay at for a football game. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and had plenty of choices, and the setup was perfect. Our room was very large, with all the amenities one would need. The bed was comfortable and the setup of the room was great. Everything was clean and looked recently updated.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Courtyard. Our room had a balcony overlooking the river, and we spent a very pleasant time relaxing there and looking at the river. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable. The bathroom was good, with an excellent shower. The location on the river was very quiet and on a walking trail which led up to a large park. The location was convenient to downtown, but secluded from that busy area. There is a restaurant there if you want to stay in for dinner or breakfast. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel for our anniversary after being in town for our sons football game. We chose this hotel for the beautiful location, you can't beat the views of the river or all the awesome walking trails that are close by! We booked the king bed room with balcony and river view, which was spacious and very clean. We were quite disappointed that coffee in the lobby was not included (other Marriotts that we've stayed at offered free coffee in the lobby even tho they too had a Starbucks and attached bistro), and that if you wanted to use bottled water to make the awful tasting coffee in your room you had to pay over $4 for the bottle of Evian, typically they'll leave 2 complimentary bottles of water for the coffee pot. Minor, but for the cost of the room, this should have been provided. We would consider staying here again if we found a good deal, but not for $270/night with tax.

Definitely a gem! We had a lovely Fox River-facing room with a balcony; super clean and recently renovated; lovely staff; laundry on site - a life saver when we extended our stay; and a good gym (also running/walking path right along the river. The fire pit/back patio are so relaxing and the bartender makes a mean Old Fashioned. Easy parking, great bar/burger joint nearby and Starbucks coffee on tap until 4. Easy to work in the hotel during the day. The one criticism is that the breakfast staff is overwhelmed and very slow - hopefully it's a kink that will work out with more staff or better organization. Bottom line, I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Comfy bed and pillows, and a quiet part of town made for good sleeping. I always bring my own pillow, but it was not necessary in this case, as the pillows were excellent. Room darkening shades block most light, but bleed-through at the edges meant I still had to use a sleep mask to sleep to 7 or 8 am, as I am super sensitive to light when sleeping. Air conditioning was excellent. Great location on the river with nice patio on the back, and short walk along the river path to Tempest coffee house makes this an awesome place for proximity to one of the best breakfast and coffee places i the city. Shower and bathroom amenities were top-notch. Just a great place all around. Will most likely stay there again next time I'm in Appleton.

I had been looking forward to staying at this hotel due to the location on the river and the outdoor area with a fire pit. We had planned to get take out and eat on the lovely tables by the river. However, a thunderstorm drove us inside. The parking lot next door was being paved and the construction sounds drove our dog crazy so it was stressful trying to keep her quiet. Also, the tar smell permeated our room. No fault of the hotel. There was only person working at the bar/restaurant in the evening making service extremely slow. The same issue in the morning for breakfast. (No free breakfast). Hope that is because like everywhere else, the hotel is having difficulty getting staff and they will hire additional staff as soon as possible. The room was clean. The staff pleasant. I would return if in the area.

Perfect place to stay in Appleton. Right in downtown. Across from the Performing Arts Center. Easy parking. Room was comfortable and quiet. Had a lobby coffee shop and bar/restaurant. The funniest thing was the lower level pool which you could see from the lobby through a glass cover … very entertaining to watch the kids splashing around.

Room is nice size. Outlet by bed are great; plugs and USB. Mattress was not too firm and bedding cozy. Pillows were not as firm for me but not too soft. Bathroom shower was nice but we must have been in adapted room cause toilet was tiny bowl and very short to ground. Sink lacked counter space. Not towel rack meant towels were behind toilet. Bathroom was roomy with no organized counter or towel rack or hanging space. Shower had great shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Large nice lotion as well in bathroom. Room in luded small kcup coffee maker. Small fridge. Safe. Steamer and closet area. Larger rv on wall. Desk with rollable chair. Enough room for 2 large suitcases. Our kind bed room window looked out on lobby 2nd floor but was nice and dark at night and not noisy. Garage parking at $10 day. You can walk from garage 3rd floor to hotel covered but note small escalator makes it hard for some luggage.

I read all the recent reviews for this hotel and was surprised to find a very clean and modern hotel. I booked a room on the 7th floor and was pleased at how clean and new it was. The room thermostat didn't seem responsive, but the room was at a pleasant temperature. Sheets felt fine but the bed was too firm for us. Thats our only complaint. Parking was covered and $6 a day (no in and out) or $10 a day. Bridge connected the hotel to the parking which was very convenient. Overall, I would stay there again.

We have stayed at this place many times and enjoy it very much. Very clean and comfortable beds. Alot of choices for dinner and drinks close by. Did not use pool but looked very clean. Will stay again for sure.

Nice clean hotel. Restaurant was not prepared for the after the game rush which was disappointing. Check was a breeze and moved quickly. Super friendly staff. Super clean. Would definitely stay again.

We've stayed here several times before, but there are some changes, good and less good. Our room was one of the renovated ones with new furniture and cabinetry, both are improvements. The sofa bed is very comfortable with no hint of that annoying bar. The queen bed is comfortable with plenty of pillows. Kitchenette decor is now darker and looks and functions well; well stocked with pots/pans and utensils. A couple of provisos: The newly renovated rooms do not have hair dryers (probably from either abuse or non-use), so be prepared to bring your own. Also, when making reservations, DO NOT USE third-party booking sites like Booking.com or Expedia. Errors in communication can and do happen (like with us this time), and resolving issues with third-party vendors can involve 30-minutes plus of really frustrating conversations with their reps. You'll get better service and prices by doing things the old fashioned way; pick up the phone and speaking directly to the hotel and not the parent company. We like this place' clean, quiet, with friendly and helpful staff and it's ten minutes to the Appleton airport. We'll be back.

All positive. Thankyou so much to Candlewood staff & managers. I stayed in a standard room which had a TON of counter space, a comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, and a full kitchen. Free & easy parking. Free wifi. Temperature/fan control. Elevator. A $3 breakfast coupon with many food options covered my breakfast. (I'm not sure if everyone receives the coupon, or just IHG members, but there were a LOT of breakfast options.) The room is incredible, it's like a mini-apartment. The pillows were very nice. I didn't like the detergent used for the sheets, but most people would never notice something so specific. The towels were thick. The full kitchen is unbeatable. They offered the room at an excellent value. The morning staff also helped me when I lost something in the hall. This clean and ultra-convenient hotel will be my first choice, next time I'm in Appleton. NOTE: The entrance is NOT on the street address... you need to circle around the backside of the block. Very adjacent to Buffalo Wings restaurant (and other shopping options.)

I am a candlewood suites regular, and this location upholds the high standards set by the other locations I have been to. The check in and out process was speedy, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. One thing I like about Candlewoods is that they have an on site store as well as a large selection of appliances you can rent, so you can get a meal that's a little better than pizza delivery or a drive thru. You can also check out a movie from a surprisingly well stocked DVD library. The coffee in the room was very tasty, and the pot brews very quickly. I did not use the microwave or refrigerator, but I did notice there was complimentary microwave popcorn in the room. The sink and shower water pressures were great, and the water heated up quickly. There was a snowstorm the night I was in town (December in Wisconsin, who would have guessed?), and the hotel had salt out right away so it was very easy to leave when I checked out. The hotel's location is also great, very close to the interstate. I'll be back in May for another work trip, and I plan to stay here again.

The hotel is in a nice location close to a mall and restaurants. It has ample parking and is overall very safe and quiet. The room was spotless, and the kitchenette had all the utensils and a regular size fridge. Overall a pleasant stay, and I will look to stay there in the future.

Bought a reduced price coupon thru radio auction, since daughter lives nearby. Our room was a single Queen suite. This is not a luxury hotel. It is, however, clean, well maintained, rooms very well appointed for extended stay (large fridge, stove, kitchen sink, etc) and it was pretty quiet. Yes, renovations are in progress, but not too intrusive. At least someone is putting money into the place to keep it up to date. Very helpful front desk staff. If you’re looking for a very good value place to stay, nearby to Appleton shopping and attractions, this is a very good place to consider.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the Holiday Inn Appleton. This was our first visit, and we were in town for an AAU basketball tournament. This place was perfect in every way. Close to the tournament venues, safe, secure, and had every amenity under the sun. We liked the bar and talking to the very personable bartender. She was awesome! The grab and go beverages in the Lobby were wonderful. Pool looked fun. Breakfast looked good, although we didn't get a chance to try it this time around. Safe, secure free parking. Great to have a fridge and microwave in the room. Loved the shower. The bed and pillows were dreamy. Very comfortable! The front desk staff were kind. We didn't think we would get housekeeping service but the room was clean when we came back from our tournament! What a nice bonus. It was a great rate at a great place. We'll be back!

Another excellent stay! We’ve been staying here since it opened almost 5 years ago and it never disappoints. We decided to try dinner in the hotel restaurant this time and it was amazing. What made it amazing was Sarah the bartender/waitress. She was accommodating to our two young children and understanding to the mess made. She was kind, sweet and very personable! The food was delicious and what was a huge bonus is that kids ate free. As always the beds and pillows were comfy and made for a great night sleep! The front desk staff was friendly and helpful as well. Thanks for another great stay, looking forward to another in the future.

Stayed here for work one night. This is a very clean and very comfortable hotel. Some other reviews have said it's a newer property, and it's maintained very well. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the beds are very comfortable. I did not use any of the amenities due to heading to work very early. The staff are great and very accommodating. They allowed me a late checkout on Mon afternoon, so I could shower and change clothes before getting on the road. They could not have been nicer! I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever in the area working again.

Front desk staff were always helpful. Rooms were nice and clean. The pool , and hot tub were HUGE!!! Restaurants were not always open, but when they were, I had a chance to get breakfast. I've stay here 5x this year, the last stay with my dog .I had a broken foot and asked to be put on the first floor close to a entrance and they met my needs 100% The staff are,always friendly and helpful..Room always ready, clean and spacious. I love there big pool,hottub, breakfasts are wonderful with a great seating area. The location perfect for things to do,restaurants, gas, also on a bus line if needed. It's our #1 place to go for a room under$100.. Great job Laquinta.

I loved the unique design of the property layout. I've never stayed at a hotel quite like it. There was a very large social area with toddler play zone, arcade room, billiards, air hockey. The breakfast area had a cozy ski resort feel with fire place, large screen TV and a bar type area for prepping and dispensing food which was quite varied and plentiful. The rooms were designed around a large courtyard area with gardens and seating for entertaining or just relaxing. The rooms were designed so that the second floor rooms had a patio that opened out to either of the the indoor gaming/social areas. The kids enjoyed the REALLY LARGE indoor pool with dressing rooms. Our room was a suite with a very large bathroom with Dove shampoo, conditioner, bath gel and lotion. Separate living room area with fold-out couch and desk A small kitchen area with fridge, sink, microwave, cabinets. Everything was clean and spacious. ATM in lobby as well as free freshly baked cookies/coffee and "store" for purchasing snacks and necessities items. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Property is less than a mile from a large shopping mall/district, so plenty of options for dinner, shopping, entertainment. Overall well worth the visit. I will be staying here again.

Convenient close to just about anything you could possibly need. The staff was very friendly and helpful, clean quiet rooms, and best of all convenient to everything you could possibly need during your stay gas stations, several restaurants, grocery store, and the mall.

Room was very clean, beds weee super comfy, no noise, peaceful stay. Only downside breakfast area was far from our room. Pet friendly was a huge plus as needed to take our small dog. Very conveniently located to restaurants, gas, and airport. Wear and tear all over as appears to be older hotel but very clean.

Overall good hotel and fun for the kids. Pool was nice, plenty of chairs, and nice long hours which is great for when the kids wake up early. Beds were decent, only 3 pillows per bed though. Breakfast was good for a free breakfast. We were able to get a luggage cart at check-in, but not one at check out, a couple more would be helpful. Great location with multiple restaurant choices very close by. The room wasn't ready at check-in, it didn't bother us but others in the lobby checking in were upset about it. Expect that yours might not be ready at 3pm.

We LOVED the pool!! It was perfect for ages 2 through 5. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious. Very reasonably priced.

Check in was friendly. Missing bathroom details: fragmented shower bar soap, empty shower shampoo, no toilet paper holder- minor things but necessary to a good hotel.

Our stay was two nights. This is the best hotel we have stayed in while in Appleton and we have stayed in many here. Very clean and spacious. It was so comfortable that we actually enjoyed hanging out in the room and relaxing. Pool and hot tub were clean and well-maintained. The room had everything we needed. When my husband forgot his toothbrush the front desk gave him one along with toothpaste. Front desk personnel were always friendly and greeted us when we came in. Other staff was also very pleasant.

We love staying at Bridgewood Resort. We love the pools and the outdoor jacuzzi. The staff is wonderful and the rooms are very clean and spacious.

I had a room with a fireplace and jacuzzi and it was wonderful! Very clean and quiet. I would definitely book this room again.

Room was great. Included a jacuzzi bath and a gas fireplace. The onsite restaurant was surprisingly good. The indoor swimming pool and hot tubs were very popular.

The suit was excellent. The only negative was that it was noisy around 2:30am, not sure where the noise was coming from (the bar?). So, it wasn't the past rest but otherwise it was wonderful. We enjoyed the fire place, jacuzzi, TV, room service.

Check in was fast and easy. We did have to stand there for at least 3 to 4 minutes. There was a lady at the front desk but ignored us, did not greet or say anything to us. Just stood there as if no one was in front of her. A nice lady who was around the corner came in and greeted us to check us in. She was nice. The other lady that ignored us earlier said something to the lady that was helping us. The lady replied that she was helping us at the moment and couldnt get to whatever task she wanted her to do for her, i thought that was rude of her to interrupt her while she was still checking us in. I dont know what her job title is but it would of been nice if she greeted us or informed us that someone will be helping us shortly instead of ignoring us. Other than that the lobby was beautiful. I loved the set up of it. It felt cozy and nice. The pool/ dome area was amazing and surprisingly very clean. The hotel was full and even though there were alot of kids there, the hallways was very quiet. Good variety options for breakfast. Our room was clean, beds were comfy. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. The staff at the pub was friendly. Most staff were friendly and nice. Will be coming back in the future.

Complimentary cocktails were just one of the perks, the woman who takes care of breakfast every morning was pleasant, and seemed to enjoy adding a little extra love to her breakfast making it her own. Ashley, Allyssa and Mary were a few of the names I remember, as they all went out of their way to help make my stay as comfortable as possible. I Would recommend a stay here, and take the time to meet the staff, Super helpful and friendly.

We had a pool side room for the convenience of being near the pool. If you are an early sleeping I wouldn’t recommend because it gets loud with the kids swimming, however, as soon as 10 PM hits it’s absolutely quiet. The doubles beds are small but good size for a couple, they are comfortable. The floors were clean and not sticky like I’ve noticed that other hotels. The breakfast was great. The coffee was good. The pool water was perfect. I would stay here again.

Friendly check in staff. Being a member of Choice Hotels, I was allowed to check in early. 2 free drinks per adult for the bar was a plus. Didn’t try the free breakfast because we were going out to brunch but it looked delicious. Pretty quiet hotel for the most part.

The breakfast is okay. Make your own waffles, toast, two kinds of cereal, and a few other things. The staff were the best, very helpful, friendly, yet professional. The room was comfortable. Although we didn’t use the pool, it was very clean looking.

We missed breakfast as we thought it was until 10am but the lady in the breakfast area Tiffany was so lovely and gave us a pack to take away with coffee toast, yoghurt and fruit to take away she was so accommodating, pleasant and so friendly. Ted who drove the shuttle bus to the airport was so fabulous, again so courteous and helpful The bar man had so much charisma he was so chatty I do forget his name, as we kept on calling him Steve but it wasn't Steve, it was a pleasure to sit in his company. Overall, Everything was good or great! In particular... We had a nice spacious room with two big beds. There was a huge TV with lots of channels and an armchair, which gave us a space to chill. There was a big, modern shower. We also liked free coffee in the main entrance area. We went to Tanner's Grill & Bar for food and drinks (and the gameday bus to Lambeau!) and the Machine Shed for breakfast, both are nearby and would recommend both.

We stayed here with our 14U boys hockey team. It was great for our group with breakfast served and a restaurant/bar on site. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The location was 10 mins from the 2 different rinks we played at. Steve and the girls in the bar area were awesome!

We stayed one night after flying into the ATW - Appleton airport from AZ. The gal at the service desk was friendly, helpful and they had large pots of coffee available in the front. Things are easy to do, eating, shopping, etc., in Appleton, if you are visiting for a short stay etc. Fairfield is located very close to Appleton Int'l Airport as well as main shopping & eatery hubs. I highly recommend this hotel. Only thing is there's not too many amenities provided in the bathroom. But I noticed it's because of being eco -friendly. I should shift my mind set, too!

CANNOT say enough nice things about this hotel and the staff! We booked a block of rooms for out of town guest who were coming to a party we were hosting. We had 6 different rooms booked with a combination of family and friends. Each one came up to me individually and raved about the hotel without me even asking. The hotel is modern, clean, comfortable, like an oasis on friend said and the staff were so friendly and helpful and even remembered names the next day. They were continually asking if there was anything else they could do to make our guests stay better. The breakfast selection was really great and there was plenty to eat even for a few people who have food sensitivities. This will be the first hotel we recommend to people coming to visit in the future. Thank you!

We were in town for a wedding and this hotel was perfectly located. There are several restaurants nearby (we really liked Stone Arch) and also many bars. There is a Walgreens nearby as well. The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. My only disappointment in Little Chute was with the coffee shop, Seth’s. Overpriced, slow service. Cute vibe but we paid $15 with tip for two mediocre coffees and they gave us the medium size when we ordered large. We should have just made a coffee in the hotel lobby! Highly recommend this hotel!

Hotel was great! Check-in was easy and staff very friendly. Room was nice and clean, just needed new curtain because there was a huge rip in it. Otherwise, the room was very nice with accommodations. The pool is small, but still fun to use. Breakfast and waffle bar a fantastic start to the mornings!

Very quiet, clean property with very comfortable pillows and bed that made for a great night’s sleep. Parker John’s Barbeque is a 2-3 minute walk from hotel with great food. Option to purchase breakfast or dinner at the hotel.

It was nice that there’s a restaurant on site; would be even nicer if they had room service, but they did allow a kind of “take-out,” where you could order from the restaurant and then take the food up to your room. It was quiet. The room was beautifully laid out, with a bed, divided sitting room area, and then the bathroom. There was plenty of good lighting, which is certainly not always the case in hotels. The bed was comfortable. There was a separate seating area and a desk, with electrical outlets conveniently located. There was a generously sized closet. The location was convenient, for my purposes. The price was generous for the value they delivered.

The room was very spacious and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. I didn’t get the chance to make use of the pool area, but it looked very inviting and clean. I enjoyed my breakfast at the Mad Apple. The $7 voucher I was given at check out was just enough to get a good hot meal. Highly recommend this hotel if you need a clean and reliable place to stay in the Appleton area. Austin behind the front desk was an amazing kind hearted man who was genuine when he spoke. He made everyone feel every welcome. Pool area was nice and the hot tub was a good temp for relaxing. The room was large and spacious. Didn't have the most pleasant odor but was bearable. Bathroom was clean and bathtub/shower worked as it should.

This hotel is wonderfully located only 20 minutes north of the Airventure airport in Oshkosh. Small town friendly with quiet and picturesque streets. The Fox river is just across the street. The rooms are Double Tree predictable- neat, clean and well maintained. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. There are several good to excellent restaurants within walking distance, Sante being the best. Strongly recommended.

Overall, it was a good stay. We were in town for the Packers game and stayed 3 nights. It felt like no one was there on Friday night and Saturday morning. We had a great experience in the restaurant. Great beer selection and good appetizers and food. Saturday morning, I was all by myself for breakfast. The breakfast was decent, compared to other free hotel breakfasts. The breakfast area is small, so on Sunday morning, especially it was full, and the food was going fast. The staff did an admirable job keeping things stocked. Overall, our extended stay king suite with a kitchenette was great. We had room in the living area although the sofa wasn't the most comfortable. The bathroom was basic but functional. Shampoo, body wash and conditioner bottles in the shower. Plenty of towels for the two of us. The bed was decent, fairly comfy, no major complaints there. I would stay here again if in the area. Prices were elevated obviously due to the Packers game, but that's what we came for. This was a bucket list trip for me!

Shay was our check in/out clerk, and she was SOOOO SWEET! Very helpful. The restaurant staff was awesome; drinks and food were perfect! Decent prices for the upscale quality. Very quiet, never heard anyone in the rooms around us. Very cozy atmosphere. We didn't get to use the pool because the lawn crew broke the glass - so that was a bummer, but not the hotel's fault. Honestly, I can't say enough about this place. We stayed here for 2 nights.

The hotel was nice and the room was clean. The pool and hot tub are very small, not even 10 feet wide I would say but they were clean. The bar was closed because they weren't allowed to sell alcohol. Would have been 5 stars if they had a few more perks like to go coffee cups in the morning and if the breakfast buffet wasn't $15 per person.

Melissa's warm greeting was welcoming when we arrived. Oliver continued that hospitality greeting as did Sam , Karli, Clayton ( who helps keep the property well maintained) and Dominic. Hot breakfast is wonderful and the coffee fresh at all times. I appreciated that they keep the juice machine on and not close it after breakfast. Indoor pool and workout room and grounds are well mantained. I now see why it has such good reviews....this is truly great hotel with a great set of team members.

We stayed at the Residence Inn Appleton July 12 through July 14. I called ahead to be sure they use unscented detergent on all linens and would be willing to clean our room with unscented products. We were happy to find that they would do both and always use unscented detergents on linens. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was excellent and well stocked. Breakfast attendants were very friendly and accommodating. Especially appreciated the raw pumpkin seeds, walnuts and sliced almonds as oatmeal toppings. The oatmeal is not the quick cooked but the actual old fashioned rolled oats all cooked and ready to eat. They also had avocado and salsa options for the eggs. Two meat choices included pork sausage patty and Canadian bacon. Hotel was quiet. Air is the air conditioning controlled by a thermostat and ran through vents instead of a big noisy machine in the room. The only complaint is that there is not a garbage can in the kitchen and bedroom. We had two rooms and found that to be true for both. Would definitely stay again.

I went to Packers vs. Seattle and hotels in Green Bay were highly overpriced, so I stayed in Appleton. I was at this hotel Friday to Monday. It is a little bit rundown and there are technology issues: WiFi in room stopped working at one point (called reception but she did not know how to fix it and tried to call Manager who was at home), no USB charging connection for cellphone in rooms, software on desktop computer in business center needs to be updated. Curiously, the WiFi started to work the following morning despite my not receiving a call back from the lady at reception. Also, there is no safe in the room for your valuables. Overall, though, this is still an OK hotel. Breakfast included hot food and fresh fruit. They provide free (unlimited) bottles of water in the lobby. The hotel was quiet and the staff were fairly friendly. It is located near I-41 highway, so that made it easier to get to the game.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We chose it mostly because it welcomed our small dog who always travels with us. The room was clean and comfortable. Nice amenities and close to many restaurants and stores. Quiet and peaceful at night. The staff for the most part were friendly and helpful, except for one individual upon check in, who read our reservations wrong and then became argumentative about it. Thankfully Lindsey was there to straighten everything out and make us feel at home. We definitely would recommend this hotel to everyone and certainly would come back and stay again.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The staff was very kind and helpful. The entire hotel was very clean. They have no pool but a nice hot tub for relaxation, and its quiet. Its a great location with the mall across the street, many shops restaurants and places to visit around the area. The breakfast is good. Eggs sausage and waffles was my fav. They have coffee all day. The service was good and overall we really enjoyed our stay. We got the queen suite and it had lots of space. It was very affordable and comfortable stay.

This hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The score is high to show appreciation for these folks and the clean condition of the hotel. The hotel is not new. The carpets were dingy, a few minor broken bathroom hooks and light fixtures. But no bad smells and good water pressure/temp. The price was extremely inexpensive--not sure if that's the usual price or an Expedia add-on--and perfect to shower and sleep.

This hotel was a clean hotel. Quiet. Front desk was helpful. Did pre check in and when I arrived keys were handed right to me no issues. Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Would recommend to anyone passing through! Good pricing

Newly Remodeled and very quiet. We stayed in a Jacuzzi suites that was recently renovated. The bed was very comfortable and relaxing. The room was very clean and well stocked with amenities. The Continental breakfast was very good.

Overall everything was great except we were close to the kitchenette and there is no door so the breakfast crowds woke us up talking and the timer of making waffles. UGH. I highly recommend a door put on that area so your guests can sleep beyond 6am! There is an odd smell to the room; much like trying to cover up a musty smell but not overpowering- just something you could work on improving. Other than those 2 things, the room and bathroom were both newly renovated & painted and were beautifully clean! There is a microwave, coffee maker that worked fast (YES!) and one of the big mini fridges- not one of those tiny little things you can't get food inside- this one was like 3 feet tall. We unfortunately forgot our beer so housekeeping got almost a full 12pk of Busch Light. : / Hot tub & pool were both great on the temperatures and clean. There are a lot of places nearby to eat, too. Location was good and easy to find. We would stay here again.

We stayed this weekend in one of the whirlpool suites. Check in was quick and easy. First impression of the suite is that it was spacious. The room had a king bed, a couch and arm chair, a fridge with freezer, a microwave and a generous sized whirlpool tub. It was a 90 degree day when we arrived and appreciated that the A/C was set at 69 so it was perfectly cool in the room. We would’ve preferred brighter lighting-or more lights. The bathroom had a bright heater light in it which was nice. The room showed signs of wear, but we were overall very pleased. The only complaint was that there was a large group of families with young boys staying there and the boys ran up and down the hallway in groups, yelling, until 11:00 Friday night so it was very noisy and sleep didn’t come for us until the boys finished. Not the hotel’s fault. The staff were some of the most friendly and accomodating hotel staff that We’ve experienced in years. They were attentive with our needs and genuinly wanted us to enjoy our stay -we’d see staff in the halls and they would say hi and ask how our room was and if we had any needs. Breakfast had pastries, bagels, fruit, yogurt, sausage patties, omeletes with cheese inside, cereal, and a waffle making station. Good coffee too!

Remodeled, up to date hotel. Great service, very friendly and helpful staff. Noce pool and cook-out area. Close to stores but quiet area. Would defianately stay here again. Price was reasonable. Room and hotel was clean. Longer breakfast times.

This hotel was recently remodeled. It was clean and beds were comfortable. I was skeptical of staying here but can say I would not hesitate to stay again. No frills but clean and comfortable. I appreciated the mini-fridge included a freezer section. I was traveling with medication and needed to freeze ice packs. Check-in was easy and host was friendly and helpful.

Very comfy, clean, spacious, bbq, bench area, nice staff, great conversations. The only thing is no breakfast unless u ask and pay more possibly. Other than that great location right by mall, restaurants and highway ☺️

The room was very clean and comfortable. The property was very well maintained and I will try and book a room there on every trip to Appleton, WI. The owner and staff were very friendly and courteous as well.

i’m gonna keep it a buck, i originally booked this place because of the price but was extremely happy with my stay!! obviously it’s a motel, you just can’t expect a 5 star suite waiting for you but you CAN expect to sleep well, stay warm, and feel safe. on top of the key card lock, there was also a turn lock and a chain latch lock for added safety. it was around -20° outside and i didn’t even need to use a blanket while sleeping, so you can see why i was happy with that lol. the shower pressure and temperature were also great. no crazy noises during the night, for me at least. also didn’t see bugs or anything. my only criticism is that the shower does leak onto the bathroom floor, so i think it’d be good to put extra towels by the bathroom for that reason. i’m sure there aren’t a bunch because of potential theft, but i think even just one more than the amount of people staying (3 towels for 2 guests) would be good for the room i stayed in specifically. I definitely plan on staying here for my future Appleton trips, though!

The clerk at the front desk was friendly. I wish they had more hot food at breakfast. All they had for breakfast was a waffle maker, milk, Sunny D, coffee, white bread and toaster, and Raisin Bran and Froot Loops and coffee. The hairdryer in my room (217) didn't work, but I brought my own so it wasn't a big deal. The room was clean and I liked that they had a laundry room. The pool is closed. There is no workout room. Overall, it was a good value and I'd stay here again.

Room smelled clean and beds crisply made up. Towels were very soft. Host was very nice and greeted me with a smile. Morning host also informed me that there had been some recent updates made to the hotel. Bathroom and shower very clean. Bed very comfortable and had a great night of sleep. Loved the lamps in the room with accessible charging plug. Very nice wall décor.

Very good place to stay for a budget. Beds were very comfortable. Room was very clean. Only 2 complaints is the pool was closed and this app does not update to let you know. Was looking forward to going swimming. Second, there are No towel racks whatsoever in the bathroom to hang towels. At least in the room we stayed in. Never got up early enough to see if there was any breakfast. Said you get a “breakfast item”, but again, never checked it out. Would I stay there again? Probably.

The staff was excellent - extremely kind, helpful and friendly. My only problems were with hotels.com itself. The fact that I had a split stay may have been confusing to the site. Regardless, the non-user friendly booking charged me double what I was anticipating for the final 2 days. The "refund insurance" should have been a red flag that this probably happens all the time. A virtual assistant should not be the only resort to address the situation. Enjoyed my stay, but the last 2 nights would have cost me $192 regardless if I stayed there or not. It was NOT worth the money I paid.

These Hotel's room is so quite and has an affordable rate compare with others, bed is so comfortable,its beyond my expectation !. Staffs are so friendly especially Sam. She's so helpful, helped me out and solved my online booking problem. Thank you, for sure we will return back to these hotel in our future visit. We strongly recommended everyone for these Howard Johnson location.

The location was very convenient, although a little tricky to find. You have to drive into the LaQuinta parking lot and go behind it to find Baymont. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There were cookies in the lobby all day long. Our beds were VERY comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, with choices I have never before seen in a complimentary breakfast, like cheese sticks and protein bars. There were 6 kinds of bread , plus bagels to toast. The price for the stay was incredible!

I was in Appleton for a weekend visit. I was greeted by friendly staff when checking in. The room was immaculate, plenty of clean linens. Clara the housekeeper had made roses with a washcloth and the toilet tissue. Breakfast was plentiful with fresh waffles, cereal, premade breakfast sandwiches, yogurt , hard boiled eggs, cheese sticks and coffee. The motel was quiet the whole visit.

This stay exceeded our expectations! We booked online through Tickets at Work, getting great nightly prices. The staff was welcoming and efficient making check in and check out a breeze. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and quiet. The free Continental breakfast was small and limited but more than sufficient. If I had to give a couple of items for consideration, I would mention that it is a refurbished hotel, leaving the halls and room designs a bit outdated. But, they have been well kept and were clean and bug free. There is no elevator. While this did not pose an issue for our family, it could for others. The door to the room doesn't always shut snuggly so you may have to do a quick recheck just to make sure. Our room was a bit stuffy but were able to mitigation being uncomfortable by lowering the room temperature. All in all, we will definitely be staying again if we return to the area.

Pleasant surprise when we arrived that this property is being renovated and our room was all new. Didn't mind the inconvenience of going to the neighboring hotel this owner also owns for breakfast. Best continental breakfast I've had in a long time, that included more than just sugary starch options (breakfast sandwiches, hard boiled eggs, whole wheat bagels). Staff was wonderful; very clear effort is being made to make this a quality, enjoyable stay.

My experience was fabulous the staff was great my room was clean and fresh towels. And the front desk guy name Kar was a exceptional help and knowledgeable to dining in the area. Also the place is very spacious, swimming pool, gym room etc. Also breakfast with a meeting room.

The staff here was absolutely amazing! The property could defintely use some updates (carpet, entrance) but the place was still clean. The pool area was fairly large and had a hot tub and a sauna! There were also a couple driving games and a claw machine. The vending machines were well stocked and breakfast was your average continental breakfast. For the price, it was a great deal. I want to shout out to the staff once more! They were just very wholesome and NICE! As awful as it may be, the world we live in today doesn't provide many people like this and I appreciate the ones who are still there, to give actual customer service! Well done!

Room was clean, beds were comfortable. The coffee pot was broken but the Continental breakfast was good. Kids enjoyed swimming. Overall it was a good experience and reasonably priced.
