From start to finish The Modernist was amazing. The staff were helpful and always seemed to be smiling. Their recommendations for restaurants in the area and spas were spot on. We had the XL room with wrap around balcony and jacuzzi tub. Amazing views! All of the little extras in the room with personalized notes made us feel quite special! The rooftop terrace is relaxing and the food was amazing! Breakfast is served in the little restaurant on the ground floor. Wide variety and everything was delicious! Overall did not want to leave and would love to return!

This was our first stay at this hotel and we’re pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean with comfortable room of modern design. The staff was very welcoming, hospitable and helpful with all our requests. The hotel is conveniently located on in a quiet yet central neighbourhood. The breakfast was a generous buffet and the rooftop lounge provides a perfect end to the day with a view of the Acropolis in the distance. Next time we are in Athens we will definitely be returning to this hotel.

A fantastically chic hotel in a lovely quiet suburban area of Kolonaki - opposite a park, and just around the corner from the many embassies to Greece.. The hotel is about a mile walk from the centre of modern Athens, and about two miles from the Athens old town and the Acropolis. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants around Kolonaki. The hotel was a brilliant base, for a wonderful five days in Athens. Nothing was ever a bother for the attentive staff. The breakfast was great with lots of variety. The highlight was definitely the view from the top floor of the hotel - the view of the Acropolis at night was breathtaking; grab yourself a drink, turn on one of the patio heaters and marvel at the view. Can’t wait to return.

We were so pleasantly surprised by our stay at The Modernist. It is a smaller boutique hotel and captured EVERYTHING we had hoped for during our time in Athens. The staff and their recommendations were AMAZING. We did not have enough time to do sufficient research before we arrived and relied heavily on the help from the staff for restaurants (where locals go and not geared to tourists), how best to view the Acropolis, providing taxi service, where to walk to, etc. The room amenities included everything we hope to have when traveling - a great mattress and linens, sufficient AC, a window that opens, a makeup mirror, a full length mirror, a HOT shower with good pressure, a tea kettle, an iron and decent shelving and space to unpack. The included breakfast spanned over several hours so you didn't have to hurry to get it in. The food was delicious and the beverage service did not disappoint. We spent a fair amount of time on the roof top deck, which was comfortable and relaxing. The music was always on point and the convenience of ordering from the rooftop was an added bonus. We would stay at this hotel again and again.

We had 2 rooms at The Modernist for 5 days and it was honestly one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff is amazing. They always greet you with a warm smile and were very accommodating for all our needs and questions. We are many hours before our checkin due to our flight but we were able to enjoy the amenities until our room was ready. We went to the rooftop which has a beautiful view of the Acropolis and watched the sun rise. They had some blankets available so we took a nap for a few hours then went down the lobby/bar area for their amazing daily breakfast. Breads,pastels,cereals,eggs whichever way you want,pancakes,french toast,mini sandwiches and many other foods as well as fresh orange juice, coffee, fruits and vegetables. A buffet of food. Getting around the city was a breeze, Uber/Taxis always nearby or by foot or metro. We walked a few times to Syntagma Square which took us about 20 minutes and there are museums and other cultural sites you can see while walking. I can’t say enough about the staff. Truly a 5 star hotel.

Perfect location with easy access to main areas for hop-on hop-off. Many restaurants and shopping on the doorstep. Large room, comfy bed, and a jacuzzi tub. The view of the Acropolis and the Parthenon from the rooftop bar was spectacular.

Excellent value for the money. Yes it is a bit dated BUT - perfect location to walk to Pláka, Mt Lycabettus, bakeries, restaurants and shops; very good continental breakfast; quiet and comfortable room for 3; wonderful view of the acropolis from the roof top; little gym but good enough to take away the guilt of all the gyros you’ve eaten; and the free jacuzzi area for a cool off from the heat is a must in summer. Ok it’s not a pool but book it and you have a private area to cool off or perfect sunset view at 8pm with a spritz - it was a real bonus!

100% reccomend the Elia Ermou Hotel. Me and my husband celebrated our anniversary a couple of weeks ago in Athens, bed's felt like sleeping on a cloud, reception was super attention and helpful, room-service & restaurant on the terrace was delicious and had a wonderful view of the acropolis! Spa services were so great - jacuzzi & massage - 10/10. Location was fantastic, close to city centre for day/night strolls. Thank you again Maria for looking after us on our special day! This was a great hotel and we will absolutely return again soon!!

If you’re looking for a clean, modern, and centrally located hotel in Athens, Elia Ermou is a hidden gem! We stayed in a spacious Acropolis-view deluxe room with a hammam and had daily complimentary bottled water. Each morning began with a delicious rooftop breakfast buffet overlooking the Acropolis. One of the best surprises was the private rooftop jacuzzi—free to reserve for an hour through the spa. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always making sure we were enjoying ourselves and had everything we needed. The location was ideal - everything we wanted to do was within a 20-minute walk. Elia Ermou is a fantastic, underrated find, and we’d recommend it to anyone visiting Athens!

Fantastic new-classic property in excellent location, major sights are in walking distance as well as restaurants and bars. We were lucky to receive an upgrade to the room on the top floor with a large roof top terrace and jacuzzi, plus from the rooftop we had a view on the Parthenon of the Akropolis, big thumbs up! There is also a sauna and turkish bath as well as massage options, but we didn't have time to enjoy it. Communication with the staff was fantastic already prior to our arrival, as well as during our stay. The recommendations were spot-on and helped a lot to enjoy Athens. Breakfast is of high quality and the staff was excellent.

The building is beautifully restored and there is a feeling of warmth and cosiness as soon as you enter the front door. The staff could not have been any friendlier or more hlepful, it was 5 star all the way. Especially look out for Christina, waitress at the breakfast and the hotel's manageress who were wonderful. We stayed in the room on the top floor (the 'nest') with the jacuzzi. Despite the view, the room was not as well equipped and as comfortable as I would have expected for that price which was a shame as we were very excited to stay there (: I woudl go back but take a different room:)

From the moment we got to the hotel we felt like everyone of the staff had been waiting just for us! The welcoming staff was at the door and reception eager to make sure we would have a great stay. They showed us around the hotel and then to the room. The greatest room we have ever stayed in at a hotel, and we have been to many places of the world. Our friends got a suite with a balcony, also exceptional in all aspects with a wonderful church view. Everything was impeccable clean and all the literally golden details captures your attention deservedly so. Beds are very comfortable, the shower perfect, spa was a great experience booked for only you and your group. A la cart breakfast was served in a beautiful way with perfect taste and appearance and again everything was served by the most charming staff. This is a new hotel in an old building that has been renovated to it´s original state. That part of this hotel also deserves our most intimate compliments. It is now a true monument. We thank the great staff of the Monument hotel for a wonderful time there. We will be back.

I was looking forward to staying at Monument hotel in Athens but can honestly say that our stay at the hotel was even better than we had hoped for. The hotel itself is beautiful, a renovation of a wonderfully designed building in a way that recognises what visitors to a city such as Athens typically want - a relaxing space, a touch of luxury in a perfect location for exploring the city. The location is ideal, Psyrri is a thriving area, the tavernas and bars plentiful and welcoming. What really sets Monument apart though is the team of people that run it, they really are the perfect hosts….they do everything they can to make your stay memorable, more than any other place I’ve stayed. Lia helped us with great recommendations for dinner which were exactly what we were looking for and I wish I knew the names of the other breakfast, reception and concierge staff who made our stay so memorable. I’ll be back at Monument many more times, I can’t imagine any where better to stay in the magnificent city of Athens. I really can’t recommend Monument highly enough.

Great property. We stayed in the suite room on level 6. Room was nice and had everything you needed. Jacuzzi was a plus. Only issue we had was room was bright because of the exit signs in our room and elevator was very loud since the elevator was directly in our room. Other than that we loved the room and area and staff was great and friendly!

Best hotel experience in a luxurious and clean suite with smart solutions, 2 TVs, 2 bathrooms, balcony, jacuzzi, a view to Acropolis and sparkling wine first night :) Breakfast was nice and the staff took care that everything was fresh and there in place in time. The hotel is very close to everything (restaurants, shops, sightseeings, incl. Monastiraki Square almost just around the corner) but at the same time in a quiet neighbourhood. Taxi transfer from and to the airport was also very fluently and conveniently organized by the hotel. I recently stayed at Nema Hotel and had a wonderful experience. Cleanliness: The hotel was impeccably clean, from the lobby to my room. It was clear that hygiene is a top priority. Location: Perfectly situated near major attractions, it made sightseeing a breeze. Plus, there were great dining options within walking distance. Service: The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. They went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable, offering helpful recommendations and quick responses to requests. Amenities: I particularly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which had a wide variety of delicious options. Comfort: My room was spacious and cozy, with a comfortable bed and a lovely view. I appreciated the thoughtful touches, like extra pillows and a coffee maker. Value for Money: Considering the quality of service and facilities, the price was very reasonable. I felt I got great value for my stay. Overall, I highly recommend NEMA HOTEL for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

Nice and cosy hotel located in quiet superb of Athens. I had a nice relaxing time enjoying the area as well as the hottub later in the evening. The staff (Thomas) was especially accommodating and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel and will visit again in the near future

Modest, yet very good quality hotel for the rate per night. The Jacuzzi in your room is phenomena as an idea, even if it's a bit small, yet nevertheless, extremely original! Staff was very friendly and helpful!!

Variety in breakfast was not great, still everything was homemade and exceptional!!!! Congrats to the Chef! I even had lunch in the restaurant the same day, it exceeded expectations, very tasty! Staff extremely kind and caring both in f&b and front office. Restaurant is located on the 6th floor with an Acropolis view and a pool. Rooms are clean, comfortable and cozy.

The staff at the hotel were wonderfully friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Our room was beautiful, on the 4th floor with a view of the Parthenon! The facilities were brilliant quality with a great shower. The bed and bedding could be the most comfortable we've ever experienced! We took the bus from directly outside the hotel to access the city centre in less than 10 minutes, and the nearest train station is easily walkable. The roof top pool and bar looked wonderful, though we only stayed one night when transiting through so did not have time to experience these - next time! Incredible value for money and we would definitely stay again when in Athens.

The hotel seems to be new. Receptionists are very professional. The check-in process was fast. The room was spacious and modern. The Internet is fast, and Smart TV is quite big. Coffee machine available, and capsules are provided. The hair dryer,shower gel, and shampoos are provided, too. Very comfortable bed. There are plenty of ambient lights in the room. A rooftop bar has a view, and there is a swimming pool as well. All in all, good stay and it was fairly priced.

The staff were all very professional and helpful. They were great from the registration team to the cleaning crew to the restaurant staff. The restaurant was very nice, (we decided to eat there both evenings of our stay) and the infinity pool deck was relaxing and had a view of the Acropolis in the distance. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and air-conditioned. All very pleasant.

I was upgraded to a room with an ocean view and jacuzzi in the room at no extra cost. I have to add to more nights which was no problem, especially since the cost was quite a bit lower than I originally paid for the first night. Also, I much appreciated Takis for being available for picking me up at the airport and taking me back for my next flight.

Everything! The location was great - amazing sea coastal views, restaurants and convenience store in easy walking distance,, bus line 904 close by (although I didn’t have to use it because the staff was so generous to offer me rides)! Delicious breakfast with many Greek items served daily. The staff were outstanding!!! Giannis greeted me when I checked in. He provided excellent recommendations for transportation (bus and train), sights and restaurants along with a map. Dimitra was welcoming every morning! Christos was kind and generous with information about things to do and how to stay safe. He also provided me with rides to train station and airport! I definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again when I return to Athens.

There are sea view rooms but we didn’t request this, our room was spacious, clean and comfortable the breakfast was exceptional and the hotel was great value for money and would certainly stay there again and also recommend others to do the same. There is a bar at the hotel but the only food they serve is breakfast

My goal was to stay in a quiet, comfortable place with a beautiful view while I worked. This was perfect. Furnished balcony with ocean view & a jetted tub. A beautiful view from inside work desk. A kitchenette for snacks & a lovely staff who brought treats every day.

Lovely hotel, recently renovated with all the amenities you may need, including quality toiletries, fresh and actually clean (!) and soft (!) towels, slippers, comfy bed, nice breakfast, top notch coffee, and a lovely and welcoming staff. I stayed in the executive suite with a king bed and it was extremely clean, the housekeeping did an amazing job and I was seriously in love with the clean scent of the towels and the soft slippers. What a nice touch! Plus, the area is walking distance to all the important sites of the city, and a few minutes away from a main metro line. It's perfect for sightseeing in the city. The parking right next to the hotel (owned and operated by another party) makes this a convenient hotel for visitors with a vehicle. This was the main reason why I picked this hotel and I'm glad I did as I had a rental to go further into the mainland. Parking was 7 EUR per day, clock restarts at midnight, so for 1 night it's 14, but still super reasonable in the heart of the city. I only stayed for 1 night and I wish I had stayed longer due to the location and the quality of the room. The value (quality/price ratio) is outstanding. I highly recommend!

One of the best stays I’ve had in a European capital. The hotel strikes a perfect balance between authenticity and modern hospitality. It's situated in a neighborhood that feels alive and local, but you’re also right near all the major sights. The design is impressive — minimal, clean, and thoughtful, with quality linens and comfortable furnishings. Everything was spotless and quiet, and check-in was smooth and professional. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into creating a space that feels both elegant and functional. I’ll definitely be recommending this to friends visiting Athens.

Stayed for 3 nights. All the reception team were very friendly, helpful and professional. As was the breakfast waitress. All spoke very good English. Good breakfast. The rooms were clean and came with toiletries. I'm a light sleeper so requested a move from the roadside to the back which was possible. There are a lot of very good restaurants in the area.

From the moment we arrived, the experience was amazing. My grandmother was in a wheelchair, so the manager of the hotel himself helped us with all of our luggage (he even brought it up to our room for us and absolutely refused the gratuity we tried to give him). He was so kind and professional--the nicest manager I have ever met at a hotel! The front desk staff (two ladies) were so sweet and helped us with everything possible (booking cabs, assisting with laundry, adjusting our airport transfer time, etc.). The restaurant is a little gem as well! They have the sweetest waitress that worked at the bar (Mariette I think was her name?) that gave us the best service we have had in Greece so far. She was so considerate and patient with my grandmother and absolutely went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed (at breakfast and dinner). The food was also absolutely delicious! The hotel room was also very spacious and super clean. They had two bottles of water waiting for us, which was a nice touch as well. I would absolutely stay here the next time I am in Greece. Even our taxi driver (who we had picked up at the Acropolis and had zero ties to the hotel) told us that the area of the hotel was super safe and in a quiet area of the city. Everything in the building was very new and in great condition. I will definitely stay here the next time I am in Athens! :)

My husband needed to be seen at the Henry Dunant hospital which is conveniently located nearby. We stayed three nights. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly face and told we were being upgraded to a larger room which was a pleasant surprise. The room itself has two good sized single beds pushed together. The mattress is very comfortable although softer than I'm used to. There is a large sofa (possibly a sofabed), plus a large armchair as well as a couple of upright chairs where it's possible to sit and eat. A fridge, kettle, complimentary tea, coffee and bottled water. Many storage possibilities. The bathroom is very stylish. We liked the shower design. Breakfast offers plenty of choice, good coffee. We decided to eat in the restaurant and enjoyed tasty, freshly cooked meals. All the staff are very friendly which adds to the charm of the hotel. When we return to Athens we will be staying here again without a doubt.

I may say this is a 2-3 stars hotel. The rooms were really enjoyable, modern. Really clean. The staff really nice. There is a laundry available on request at 24 hours. The place is secured in the evening with someone outside who won't let you in if you don't have the card. The room service is available until 22:00 with a good range of casual food. We didn't try the breakfast, so i can't say anything. The wifi was working fine. Downstairs, there is a place outside the bar restaurant, casual to take coffee or drinks not at all crowded with people. The location is okish The view from the room are ok, the top can enjoy full sunbath

I booked the room with the outdoor jacuzzi. The room was good and comfortable. The jacuzzi was working well, with two settings of the jets. The hotel is located in the city center, near Monstiraki Square.

Great location, right in the center of Placa, the old city, at walking distance to the Acrópolis. Nice and clean hotel. We had the attic room with it’s own private jacuzzi, it was a fantastic experience. Absolutely recommendable. Will book again when back in Athens

Fantastic location for exploring Athens and very quick and easy to get to the Acropolis with lots of great restaurants also within easy walking distance. The room was clean and very nicely stocked. We didn't use the jacuzzi outside but we did use our complimentary 30 minute access to the spa, which was really great.

Very central, not too big , modern comfortable and clean. Quiet at night- had amazing sleep. Restaurant /bar has reception inside, on a lovely street, but almost missed the entrance! The reception is in the restaurant. Staff were lovely to chat too. Very helpful

We had a fantastic time at the resort. The location was perfect offering a tranquil escape while being conveniently close to everything Athens has to offer. The rooms were very spacious with a private Jacuzzi which was an ideal spot to unwind after sunset. It might be "glamping" but the room was honestly better than almost any other room I have stayed at in regular hotels. The resort's pool was really nice providing plenty of space for swimming and sunbathing. The restaurant food was delicious and the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. We especially appreciated their thoughtful touches like providing complimentary sunscreen, offering transportation around the resort whenever they saw us walking in the heat, helping us find the wallet I dropped in one of the walkways and generally going above and beyond any chance they got. I booked this resort for a special occasion and was very grateful to all the staff (especially Christina) who put so much effort into making this one of the best hotel experiences we have had. Overall our stay exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Athens.

The grounds are beautifully landscaped, centered around a stunning lagoon. Tents are spacious and luxuriously appointed. After a relaxing morning swim, I enjoyed the on-site Barbarossa restaurant for exceptional Mediterranean cuisine. Loved the drinks at the pool with stunning views. The long sandy beach is just steps away and with the sunloungers setting perfect for swimming and sunbathing. Staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. It's the perfect secluded getaway while still being close to the city. Thank you, Christina and Despina, we will be back!

We loved our stay at this hotel, it was truly exceptional, and I would definitely stay here again. The resort staff were excellent, with a special shout-out to Maria and Nour who were amazing and so helpful. I really appreciated being able to communicate with reception and order room service through WhatsApp, it was quick and convenient. The beach and swimming pool were beautiful, and the cabanas were super comfortable and perfect for relaxing. Overall, everything about this resort made our stay memorable and enjoyable.

I had an amazing experience at 91 Athens Rivera Hotel. The hotel was super clean, and its location was fantastic. The staff, including the manager and hotel staff, Xristos, Victor, and Mina, were incredibly helpful and made everything perfect. Mina, the receptionist, was very welcoming and assisted us with hotel reservations and spa bookings. We received complimentary juices and sweets, and the hospitality was exceptional. The breakfast and food were delicious, and the staff was always available. Vlad even gave us a gift when we checked out and provided a free drive to the airport. The hotel genuinely seeks feedback to improve, which is rare in any hotel.They truly represent Athens well, and we love the city even more now. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Athens; it’s an extraordinary experience.

The hotel itself is incredible, amazing facilities, beautiful cool and spacious rooms, our plunge pool with our room, gym facilities, but the staff are what really elevate the experience beyond any other luxury hotel. They are all incredibly helpful, warm and generous - and the whatsapp communication with reception is brilliant! The staff could not have done more to make us feel special and welcome. We absolutely loved our stay and would love to return. The breakfast is delicious and the food by the pool/beach is great too. The water at the beach is also lovely and crystal clear. Definitely worth the visit.

I booked a suite on the 4th floor, the room was rather big with a kitchen, a balcony and a terrace with hydromassage tube (though we didn't use it in January). This room is the only one on the floor so it's quite spacious. The location was perfect for us - close to the hospital. Breakfast was good: coffee, yoghurt, pastries (not much variety but everything we needed).

The property was perfect, it’s clean and modern. The staff is friendly and helpful. I was recovering from a hospital stay. The staff were like angels to me. They gave me space while attending to my every need. I didn’t want to leave.

The hotel is pleasantly designed and relaxing. Rooms are big enough, comfortable, clean and well equipped. Staff is extremely accommodating (they didn't have lactose-free breakfast the first morning, the next morning I had it). The area is quite and very close to the hospital and restaurant-rich Chalandri

I wanted a hotel as close as possible to the Hygeia hospital, this was perfect just a 2 minute walk away. I had a very comfortable night and enjoyed the complementary breakfast. The staff were very helpful and I would certainly use again if I needed to be in the same area.

it’s a lovely hotel it’s very efficient and clean and pretty much up to date , the breakfast is amazing for the small cost . The staff are very friendly and speak good English and are always helpful . i stayed here as i had flown over to see a band Pulp play at the water from just 1.6 km away so it was nice and close . The hotel is close to the tram stop which takes you up and down the coast , there are lots of nice bars and restaurants nearby too and a shop next door perfect for your water and snacks and ice cream . Rooms are well air conditioned and hace easy controls . Recommended

Staff were very polite and helpful The room was freshly cleaned and it was really comfy Hotel Atlantic is located close to amenities, like a bus station that takes you to Syntagma and korah square from where you can easily go to Piraeus port. It has also very close two restaurants, one kebab shops and also it has a bank in order to get money if you need. It is also very close to tram station which can take you to Voula where there are some nice beaches to swim Despite being close to the central road which is Theseos Avenue, it is quiet because it is not located on the central road which for me it is important since you can sleep without having the fear of the noisy central road

The location was perfect. Public transport a few metres from the hotel and free parking for the car. Close to the beach amd Central Athens. Shops and restaurants nearby. Room was clean and staff very helpful.

Booked 2 rooms among those one is suite with jacuzzi bath which was spacious and comfortable to enjoy a bath at the end of the day. The other standard room was quite small. We knew the location is quite far from centre which is fine with us as we just planned to relax there for few days by staying at the poolside. The pool was in good size and deep, even with a diving board. Enough sunbeds there to enjoy sunbathing. Just if there are parasols for shades would gain extra points. Breakfast was provided at the corner of the well decorated banquet room. Food is simple but still with enough varieties and is refilled continuously. Obviously the hotel is a bit aged and requires some uplifting but it provides everything you need. If it is refreshed, I am sure it will deserve higher rated. Anyway, it is fair for the room rate they charge. Staff are friendly and thoughtful. We arrived earlier than check in time, rooms were not ready yet. We were given bottles of cold water while waiting. And the day we left was very early in the morning around 6.40am. (Breakfast time starts 7am). Staff is kind enough for us to get coffee and some bites. It is valued for money.

The receptionist was welcoming and helpful. The two bedrooms were spacious enough and the beds were comfortable. We had a huge terrace. There are very good tavernas in the quiet neighborhood, Lidl and other shops are nearby. The breakfast offer is not sensational, but it is fine and sufficient. We had delicious coffee afterwards. We didn't try the pool, but overall we felt good at the accommodation.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were absolutely amazing and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel’s location is perfect, with easy access to all the main attractions, including Athens city centre, and it’s surrounded by a great choice of restaurants and plenty of entertainment for kids. The swimming pools were very clean and well maintained, which made our time even more enjoyable. A special thank you to Mr. Nikos for kindly sharing so many helpful tips about where to go and what to see. And to Nora, Alexandra, and Sonia . thank you for your warm hospitality and for making our stay so special. We truly appreciate everything and will definitely be coming back!

Having read the previous reviews, yes we were disturbed (slightly) by a wedding reception downstairs and yes, some bits of the room were a bit tired and in need of attention. BUT, what we did get was easy (and free) parking, a warm welcome from the 24/7 desk, a clean tidy room with a comfy bed, a wrap around balcony with views of the mountains/hills as well as Athens itself (we could even make out the Acropolis) and in the morning we got a varied and tasty continental breakfast. For what we paid, we were very satisfied indeed.

We didn't expect much of a 2* Hotel for the paid price and were absolutely positive surprised. I can't understand the low ratings. The room was perfectly nice and modern, comfortable, big beds, big balkony. Very friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast included in the price. Although a wedding took place it was calm at night. Perfect position for visiting Parnitha mountains. We would definitly come again.

Spent a week at the hotel for my birthday in the penthouse with the private rooftop jacuzzi. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. They even called me the morning of my birthday and had a birthday gift waiting for me upon arrival. The room was fantastic with incredible views of the sun setting over the Aegean. I will be staying exclusively at this hotel from now on when I come to Athens. Highly highly recommend!

My daughter and I stayed here for 6 nights for a long weekend getaway. When we arrived early at the hotel, the staff were kind enough to offer us an early check-in, which made a huge difference—especially since it was extremely hot. Thank you Team Glyfada After settling in, we headed to the local beach, which was within walking distance from the hotel. Our room was nice and clean with a sea view from the balcony that was very relaxing. The housekeeping service was immaculate and carried out daily, ensuring everything was spotless throughout our stay. The staff made our stay very hospitable and comfortable and attended to all our needs when necessary. The hotel is conveniently located just 30 min from the airport and 30min from Athens city center. Glyfada’s main shopping district is only a 10min walk away, offering a great selection of restaurants and coffee shops. It’s a nice and quiet location to spend your holidays. I was surprised and a bit disappointed to read LK’s comment, as my experience at the hotel was quite different. I’ve found the management to be very attentive and genuinely open to feedback. It’s clear they care about their guests and are willing to make improvements when needed. Everyone’s experience is different, of course, but I just wanted to share that mine has been very positive. This hotel exceeded my expectations—I'd wholeheartedly recommend it and would happily return for another stay.

The staff were outstanding, so warm, professional and knowledgeable. Our room had an its own jacuzzi and a wonderful view of the church of St George. The hotel was well located - easy walking distance to attractions, restaurants and coffee shops. The hotel itself was beautiful - very artistic and comfortable. The breakfast offerings were excellent.

Everything was really nice. I particularly appreciated the character of the building, which has a nice historical toucj. The neighbourhood is also very nice with very good restaurants just around the corner. The whole family loved the jacuzzi on the terrace. The breakfast is nice and the staff are very helpful. A very pleasant stay.

This place is just great. Nice building with beautiful rooms (we had one with a jacuzzi and filmprojector on the terrace). Great location with lots of restaurants nearby and within walking distance of all the main attractions, e.g. 30 minutes to Acropolis entrance (very nice café just opposite the entrance btw). So everything great but best of all is the superfriendly and helpfull staff. This will definitely be our place when in Athens.

The location is close to the beach, has some local supermarkets plus Lidl close. From the balcon we could see a small garden with lemons. Functioning air conditioning and jacuzzi. The staff was pleasant, cleaned the room daily. I liked the gradient lighting, we could chose the intensity.

The staff at Zen were very friendly and helpful! It's a small cosy hotel and the connections from here to the city center (Acropolis etc) and Pireaus are perfect, just hop on a bus at the end of the road and you are almost there. Very inexpensive. too. It's also a quiet residential area so there was no noise at night and the loveliest things was the street "Thoukikidou" just 3 minutes away - lined left and right with small shops and great bars and restaurants. Try O Paris and (sit down and takeaway) and O Mpakalis, grill restaurant. Both super and mostly the locals out on the town for the warm evenings. Breakfast at Zen was just 2 mins around the corner which I found no problem, a quick stroll to get your appetite working!

TLDR - a must stay for anyone visiting Athens with some of the best service we’ve ever experienced, as a couple who travel weekly with work in the UK. Stunning acropolis views from the rooftop bar/pool/restaurant too! Incredible service - some of the most polite, friendly and personal service I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. The staff went above and beyond to share their vast expertise with us and make our trip feel incredibly special. hotel was incredibly clean, modern and smart - gorgeous roof top restaurant/bar and lovely pool and sunbathing area. The room was very smart and clean too. The restaurant was excellent - so good that we ate there 2/3 nights. The prices were very reasonable (vs London!) and the food incredibly flavoursome and varied. Would particularly recommend the sushi combo plate for 2! Staff were again very knowledgeable and recommended lovely bottles of local wine, whilst maintaining attentive and friendly service. Breakfast had a wide selection of cooked and cold options, couldn’t fault it. Only slight complaint was that the room was too hot - we couldn’t work out how to cool it down. I suspect it was due to the transition between winter and summer for the central heating system - one to speak to reception about if visiting in the summer. 25/23 couple from London who travel weekly for work, looking for a mix of sightseeing and a nice hotel to relax in.

This hotel was lovely, from check-in to check-out! Our room was very comfortable and had an awesome view of the Acropolis from our balcony. The breakfast buffet was very tasty and constantly replenished and had a wide variety of items (could use an extra coffee machine, as there was always a line). The front desk staff was amazingly helpful, always! They even arranged a birthday cake for my birthday! The location was good in central Athens and steps away from a Metro station. I was a bit disappointed that the weather was a little cool for me to try out the beautiful rooftop pool. My only criticism would be the overhead noise from the restaurant above (we were on 8th floor, restaurant on 9th floor).....there was pretty frequent noise from chairs being moved from about 6am to midnight. Otherwise it was perfect and we would absolutely stay there again.

As my wife celebrated a special birthday i decided a long weekend in Athens would be appropriate. I selected the Stanley Hotel as it had a lido on the roof with a pool, bar and a restaurant. In addition i selected a deluxe room with a view of the Acropolis. The room was spacious and modern and very comfortable. The balcony view did indeed include a view of the Acropolis. The room had a coffee machine but no kettle. This was quickly rectified by the hotel. The staff in the hotel were friendly and very obliging . I would recommend this hotel as a great base for a visit to Athens, you can mix sight seeing with relaxing round a pool and taking in the sun.

This was the perfect hotel for our stay in Athens. The views from the room and at breakfast were incredible. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Perfectly located for the Metro and the hop on hop off bus – the stops were just outside the hotel. There was a short walk to the centre or you could just get the Metro (€1.20 for a 90 minute ride). The breakfast was incredible so much to choose from (and again you could benefit from the views) and the restaurant in the evening was just perfect. Athens itself was an incredible city and we also tried some of the local restaurants in the Square where everybody was so welcoming and kind. Thank you.

We had a great stay, hotel was beautiful, however was in a very low area with aloot of vandilism and homeless people. Not a safe place to walk aroumd at night. They gave us a room that had a jacuzzi that didnt work, what was the point of that! Bed was very comfortable, staff service was good overal stay was good!

The room was modern, clean and spacious. The beds were all comfortable and the bathroom was updated and great. The staff were all friendly upon checking in. Breakfast was good. For the price we paid, it was excellent for a night's stay.

This is a great place to stay, very clean, modern, staff are super awesome and friendly. Breakfast could be a bit better, but it's ok. The area is not super posh, kinda not clean, and homeless people at night BUT very safe to walk around, and easy access to the main touristic areas. There's a police station very close as well, and a bunch of hotels around as well, so no biggie If you are not that picky with that.

The hotel is quite modern, stylish and clean. Breakfast offers a good range of options. Check-in was quick and efficient and reception staff were friendly and competent. Our room was large and comfortable, with a good sized spa and a balcony.
