Great location, beautiful views, cosy, comfortable and clean camping pod. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and the booking system was so easy.

The site was exceptional. The eco pods were very clean and comfortable. There was a lot of space between the pods, so they felt very private. The kitchen and toilet / shower facilities were perfect.

Pods are super specious and all with fridge, kettle and microwave. Location is very convenient and surrounding nature beautiful. Common kitchen well equipped and clean. Showers little bit outdated but spotless clean and plenty of hot water.

A little piece of heaven in a stunning location. Really helpful staff. Spotlessly clean amenities. We were in a cosy, well appointed ecopod with exceptionally comfortable mattresses.

Great basic, but clean pod with all that my 2 children (9 and 7) and I needed for a fun stay, to be closer for landmark than the 3 hours drive from where we live up north. Bed became massive and perfect for us all to enjoy when extended. Communal cooking areas looked great when we explored, although we didn't use. Toilets clean and good showers. Close to Aviemore and a great wee spot

It was in a lovely location, the leisure facilities were a bit outdated, the jacuzzi was out of order which was disappointing, the reception staff were very helpful.

Good to have access to pool, shame jacuzzi wasn’t working, from other reviews it appears this is a regular occurrence

Amazing location, right next to the river. The lodge was spacious and well equipped, allowing for a comfortable weeks holiday. The facilities were great, lovely warm swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Reception staff were really friendly and helpful offering some great advice on places to visit in the local area.

I liked the good amount of space, the peace and quiet and the facilities in the cabin. It was lovely to overlook the golf course. Lots of birds around to enjoy too. The swimming pool was nice but it was a shame that the jacuzzi wasn’t working. The staff were very friendly. Nice area for dog walking. Convenient for the town.

been coming here for many years now, as we are owners or rather "former fixed week owners", and once again ,another lovely holiday. We stayed in a different chalet this year (our original one was removed from the club ), it hadnt been refurbished, as the one we stayed in last year had, but it was lovely and clean, and everything worked, no issues at all. the grounds and golf course looking good, went swimming most days, water at a good temperature, shame about jacuzzi out of action, again. We ate in the restaurant twice , food was lovely and i wouldn,t say overpriced, much the same as anywhere really, good choice of drinks also. All the staff very friendly and helpful, and nice to see Maggs again, its nice that she remembers us and takes time out for a chat. See you all next year

Came here for the first time last year and quickly decided we would probably be staying here every year. Ken and Gill were amazing - always caring about how we were and offering lots of things to make us more comfortable. The pods are so cozy - it was always perfect to come back to after a long day. The bed was comfy, had facilities that were perfect keeping in mind we stayed there for a full week and most people usually only stay for a couple days. It's a perfect area to stay - it's always quiet and there are so many beautiful landscapes nearby. Breakfast is great (they even have a vegan option which made everything a lot easier for us). Honestly, Ken and Gill (and Layla the pug) are the best hosts you could ask for - you immediately feel welcome. Amazing value for money. We'll be back next year.

Eriskay was one of the best places we stayed over our 3 weeks in Scotland! Ken and Jill were both inspiring, enthusiastic, and really fun hosts. The pods were immaculate and well stocked. The bed was especially comfortable, plugs were available your devices, a specialized coffee maker at hand, and both good lighting and privacy window shades inside. We had a grill available to us next to our pod and all the kitchen equipment you could use located was available in a common-area Brothy. This inviting Brothy was a really great area for meeting and getting to know other guests as well, which is always one of the more enjoyable aspects of travel. If you don't want to make your AM breakfast here, then don't hesitate to enjoy their home-cooked Scottish breakfast with the most amazing fresh baked goodies made by Jill herself. Ken went over the top in making sure we were satisfied with every little facet of our stay. Excellent location; minutes from Cairngorm hikes, multiple options for in-town supplies, coffee houses, etc.

Ken & Gill were extremely friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. They gave welcome advice about walks in the area and showed genuine interest in me enjoying my stay. They worked really well as a team to make sure you felt at home. As an introverted person travelling on my own this was very much appreciated Breakfast was super delicious, couldn't fault it at all. They also had extra little additions like fresh baked muffins to enjoy, and created a really nice atmosphere by engaging with all the guests I stayed two nights in the b&b and also two nights in a glamping pod. They were both very clean and had everything you could need. There was a proper coffee machine in b&b and pod, which was perfect as I love my coffee. I would be happy to stay in either one again.

Ken and Gill were really friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts willing to go the extra mile to make our stay perfect. The room was great - very comfy beds and lovely shower. And the breakfasts were wonderful! An amazing choice of tasty hot dishes, fresh fruit and homemade muffins. Fabulous!

We got a fabulously warm welcome even after a severe delay on our train meant that we arrived late at night. The hosts Ken & Gill are truly wonderful & and can not do enough to make your stay feel like home away from home. The Pod is heated and cosy. The constant hot water from the pressure shower is a luxury for glamping. The amenities in the Pod are spot on, modern coffee making machine, kettle, fridge, a Bluetooth speaker for your music, a TV, plenty of hanging space...a real tardis! Ken & Gill supply a constant flow of purified water, and replace tea/coffee, in fact whatever is needed is no trouble at all. We opted for breakfast with them. There is a varied menu, and as a vegan, I was very well catered for. The food served was well thought out and delicious. The vegan haggis was the best! We enjoyed the company of our hosts & their animal friends and Ken's storytelling. There is a bothy for shared use with other pod dwellers, which has full cooking facilities, a dining table & lots of games & books. I imagine this would be even more sociable in warmer weather with the fire pit outside. We would definitely stay again without hesitation.

The owners and staff were incredible - very warm and friendly and very accommodating when I required an earlier breakfast. The room I had was perfect - lovely and cozy, the bed was a dream to sleep in. Sooooo comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. And the shower was amazing. The breakfasts were delicious - the main man in the Kitchen cooked up a storm every morning. I really couldn't fault this outstanding guest house. My stay here was perfect in every way.

We stayed at Ravenscraig Guest House after a multi day trip through the Cairngorms on our bikes and it was quite possibly the best stay I’ve had anywhere. Scott and Helena are amazing hosts and were so welcoming and accommodating. Super friendly and helpful! Our suite was clean and comfortable and everything we needed to recharge. Their included breakfast was delicious and the atmosphere laid back and relaxing. They had a dedicated bike wash station in the back (pictured) and secure storage for our bikes. I wish we could have stayed longer! Will be recommending to all my cycling friends in the Bay Area to stay here in the future.

My stay was absolutely perfect, granted I only stayed for one night. Nonetheless, Scott and Helena were so friendly and made me feel very welcomed. I arrived earlier than expected, but Scott had no problem with checking me in early. The room was (in my opinion) perfect for one person — the room was clean and tidy when I arrived, it had all the toiletries. You could also hang out in the guest lounge room which felt very homely, especially with the fireplace. I had purchased the breakfast along with my booking, and thank goodness I did cause it was perfect — I had a good breakfast before heading out to hike that day. Scott, Helena, and their staff made me feel very comfortable during my stay. I’m definitely coming back to stay here when I get the chance to travel to Aviemore again. Thank you so very much, Scott and Helena, for your warm welcome and hospitality.

Staff were friendly and down to earth. Whole place was very relaxed and welcoming. Good breakfast. Very clean and comfortable room, bed was amazing, great shower and nice view towards Cairngorm mountain.

The guest house was in the perfect location on the main street a short walk from the bars and restaurants on offer. When we arrived we were welcomed by Scott and Helena before a brief overview of the guest house. Our room was warm and immaculately clean and felt like home from home. There was plenty of tea and coffee sachets meaning we didn't have to ask for extras. Breakfast was cooked amazingly and all of the staff were warm and friendly, happy to chat away. We will certainly come back if we visit Aviemore again in future. Thank you again Alisha and Scott

The bedroom looked newly decorated , it was tastefully done and had a comfy bed.Our room was small but we are fine with that . Shower was good . Breakfast was really good , no buffet, which we liked , we were served a generous portion of fresh fruit and natural yogurt along with porridge and nuts ( there were other choices ) . Then I had eggs and smoked salmon , the portion was perfect for me ( I guess 2 eggs ) . My husband had the veggie breakfast , that was good as well . Plenty coffee on offer. The host Mark texted me so I was able to contact him if needed. Check in was easy and quick . The lady who served us breakfast was very nice and friendly and she made sure we had all we wanted quickly. Everything was very clean .

The room was clean and cosy. Equipped with everything you need. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, the best I've had at a B&B. The owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming too. The owner was nice enough to allow us to self-check in at a later time than the usual check-in times. The view of the mountains out the room window was beautiful. Very convenient location, too.

Great location in Aviemore for day trips to the Cairngorms National Park and Inverness areas. Mark greeted us, explained everything and showed us our room in a very friendly manner. The rooms were nicely furnished, very clean and the bed very comfortable. the only partial complaint would be that the shower stalls were a bit on the small side but the water was hot and strong and the bathroom was spotless and modern. The breakfast choices were great, the food tasted great and the servings were very copious. Given the quality of the rooms, location and breakfast, definitely a great deal.

Absolutely superb ! Mark and the team were all lovely and very welcoming. Their Guest House is located on the edge of Aviemore which is perfect as it's a nice short walk to nearby restaurants/shops but away from the centre so it's nice and quiet. The Guest House has clearly been recently decorated to a really good standard and my fiancee and I loved the modern/contemporary style. Breakfast was awesome but the best bit for me was the really comfortable bed - it's so common to find hard mattresses in guest houses and hotels but not here. We had a great sleep thanks. We usually go to the big hotel chains when staying in Aviemore but no more ! We'll definitely go back to The Cairngorm Guest House instead. Thanks for a fantastic stay guys :)

The Osprey is perfectly located for a holiday in the Highlands. There are lots of walks straight from the door. Our room was clean and comfortable. Beds were really comfortable and there is a good sized tv. Des and Sinead are great hosts. They really go out their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. We really appreciated that Des cooked us a delicious meal when we discovered the local restaurants were booked up. Breakfasts are freshly cooked and delicious. It is very dog friendly and our dog was made very welcome. She lapped up the treats and attention. Des and Sinead were also happy to look after our dog while we went out for dinner.

A cute hotel run by a very friendly couple. Des and Sinead are such amazing hosts – they were more than happy to chat with us, make us feel comfortable and shared lots of great tips for local sightseeing. In spite of turning up way past the checkin time, we were greeted with a hearty smile and warmly welcomed. Sinead made us a wholesome and delicious breakfast! The hotel is tastefully decorated – I particularly loved the pretty wallpapers and flower arrangements. Rooms were spacious, clean and cosy. We had a lovely experience and will certainly stay again if we're in the area.

Fantastic wee hotel, right in the centre of Kingussie. Currently being refurbished so only 4 rooms being used at the moment, but our room was brand new. Amazing comfy bed. 100% super clean everywhere. Restaurants nearby for dinner, but we were invited to use the lounge for our own drinks. The owners/ hosts showed us exceptional hospitality - so friendly and welcoming and absolutely nothing was any trouble. You could not find better anywhere in Scotland. Cannot wait to go back.

We had a perfect stay. The room was very nice: spacious and beautifully decorated. Big enough, very clean and the shower was really good. Everything worked perfectly. They do serve the best breakfast here! We have eaten the best porridge ever with really nice fruit. Very good for cyclists doing the LEJoG trial or any other trial. The coffee was also perfect and the owners are really helpful and they communicate so well.

Des and Sinead were phenomenal hosts - they couldn't be more helpful and attentive, and just all round delightful company. The room was clean and very, very comfortable, we also used the bar area, and breakfast was delicious. They gave us great recommendations for short strolls as well as dinner, and it was lovely spending time in the hotel after our travels.

Loved staying here, was so comfy and clean. When you walk in it feels luxurious because it looks a bit like a hotel vibe, all white and modern. The bathroom was big and a very big shower - we stayed at a few places and found this was very helpful when you have a dog and going hiking. You have a rain shower option as well which was great! They replaced glasses and some offerings (tea, coffee, chocolate) every day. The bed was very comfy and there were sockets on either side, as well as USB ports. Location was really good, walking distance from the Aviemore high street, but also really good location to commute to other attractions. Didn't see the staff much as we were out a lot but the communicated all of the necessary details via messaging on the app.

We enjoyed our stay in Aviemore. This B&B was about a 15 minutes scenic walk to the centre of Aviemore. Our room was perfect for 3 adults and it was modern, clean and tidy. Adrian was very friendly and made us feel welcome. There was a variety of breakfast options available at a extra cost, all delicious and well prepared. It was quiet and scenic with free parking and wifi.

First visit to Carn Mhor most definitely won't be our last , amazing B&B in Avimore from the moment we arrived to the moment we left nothing was too much trouble for Adrian. The owner Adrian offers generous sincere hospitality and delivers thoughtful unexpected high quality extras not usually offered at B&B's.Location is fantastic only a short walk into Aviemore village and 10 minutes drive into the Cairngorms mountain Range , many more tourist places only a short drive away . Very dog friendly with a huge field behind the B&B and plenty of car parking space . Breakfast was piping hot and delicious with first class products used .Adrian was always on hand and so accommodating telling us best places to eat and advised us where to visit , always updated us on the weather in morning,nothing was too much trouble thank you Adrian for an amazing stay , we will most definitely be back and will highly recommend anyone looking for an amazing bed and breakfast to stay at Carn mhor . Look forward to next time .

We were made to feel very welcome. We had to self check in which was easy as we had been texted very clear instructions. The room was a good size, very clean and had plenty of drawers and hanging space. The bed was very comfy. There was a note explaining about changes to housekeeping due to covid, which made us feel safe staying here. We were kept well supplied with coffee, tea bags and milk for the room. The breakfast menu had plenty of choices. Breakfast was freshly cooked and really tasty. We were made to feel very welcome by Adrian. There was a lovely outside area to sit in. Loved our stay here, well worth the money.

Stay Monday to Friday, beginning October. Good value. Spotlessly clean and well maintained, rooms and building- excellent housekeeping everyday - Bed very comfortable, good quality clean bedding. No breakfast option, but had a decent sized Fridge handy for breakfast juice, fruit, sandwiches cold drinks etc. There is a café about 10 mins walk, cannot comment as didn't use. Marks and Sparks food express store also close by. Large Tesco in centre of town. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space - decent water pressure for shower, although unit a bit on small side, not a problem for us. Good easy to use heating system. A number of eating places and supermarkets within 15/20mins walk. There is a bus service but didn't use so cannot comment on frequency. On site Italian restaurant, did not open until Thursday, evening then only offered buffet. Did not use The next nearest restaurant the Bridge Inn is in a lovely setting, very popular so had to book, food quite expensive and menu bit limited on evening menu, but did enjoy. - did not try at lunch time so cannot comment

The rooms were very clean and comfortable,the toilet door allowed the separation of the shower and toilet was in my opinion a great idea. The room itself was well maintained I was surprised to find there were 2 chairs. In other places there is one chair and the other person has the bed! Although the motel is next to the road it was quiet. I ve told my relatives how good it is. The receptionist both on arrival and departure were friendly. My only wish you update the list of places for breakfast!

High range hotel is not a fancy hotel, looks like a motel, but definitely checks the boxes...comfortable, clean, friendly, and a convenient location to explore from. Cute little cafe up the street, e-bike rentals up the street and nice paths for exploring. We had a pizza for dinner from the restaurant next door, thin crust, and it was quite good. We had an electric hybrid (they upgraded us) and there are charging stations at the hotel. I would highly recommend

Well maintained spacious rooms, spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Quiet location but only 5mins walk from the start of Aviemore. This is my 3rd time staying here while visiting family.

Super room. Large and bright. Lovely big windows. Really comfortable bed. Spacious. Good temperature. Exceptionally clean and fresh. Powerful shower. Staff at reception very friendly and helpful.

The decor of the rooms is rather old-fashioned, but that didn't bother us. The rooms were immaculately clean. You wouldn't find a speck of mildew in the bathroom. The complementary shower gel smells lovely. We found the bed very comfortable. Tea, coffee and bottled water are provided. The location is very good, it's right in the middle of Carrbridge, 2 min walk from the bridge. Easy to find. Our room had a window facing the back of the building and the night was very quiet. We got up at 8am and could hear a rooster, which we enjoyed :) (it wasn't loud enough to wake us, but once we were up we could hear him). What blew us away was the food - the dinner in the hotel restaurant was one of the best dinners I ever had in a hotel. I had a pigeon for starter, which is not that common and it was ages since I had one, so that was a lovely surprise. The black pudding they serve alongside pigeon and for breakfast was amazing. Husband chose mussels for starter, which he really enjoyed as well. For mains our party had hake, steak pie and pork, all excellent and generous portions. The blueberry cheesecake for dessert was to die for! Breakfast was beautifully cooked and the portion was adequate, we left full and satisfied, but managed to finish it with no waste (I feel like some places overdo it and you end up overeating). The staff are a credit to the hotel, everyone was so polite, friendly and smiling. We found this hotel to be an excellent value for money and would definitely come back.

Attractive. Friendly bar. Drink prices very reasonable. Gareth was welcoming and relaxed even though I arrived at 10. 45 pm. The breakfast in the morning was exceptional. I had porridge with fresh fruit, cooked breakfast . Fresh coffee….The cost of the stay was great value. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Beautiful place to stay. Perfect location for exploring the Aviemore area. Rooms were comfortable, clean & nicely decorated Very quiet and peaceful place. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Very good breakfast, and nice pub and restaurant. It is definitely on our list to be back one day!

Pretty much everything was spot on. Staff were all friendly and attentive. Room albeit was very small however had everything you needed for a comfortable night stay. Comfy bed, TV, kettle, shower room is separate but very clean and not shared I believe. Breakfast in the morning was lovely. Only thing that could be improved is an offering of fresh fruit juice and a better coffee... However very happy and great value for money. Will deffo stay again when in the area.

It feels very homely, friendly and popular with visitors and locals. The breakfasts are excellent. All local produce and perfectly prepared; from hearty porridge with local honey and fresh fruit to a full cooked breakfast with meat from local butcher. Much better than many other local hotels in the area. Evening meals in the bar are exceptional with a great range of beers. Rooms are very comfortable. Friendly and welcoming host with great staff.

Our stay exceeded our expectations. We hadn't stayed in a hostel before so we didn't have high expectations but this hostel was perfect for our trip to the cairngorms. We stayed in a private room of three which was comfy, had lots of space and was very clean. The ensuite was also very clean. The common areas were also very clean, comfy, spacious and very cozy to come back to after a day in the snow. The hostel was also so close to the ski resort and very easy to navigate to. Would highly highly reccomend to other groups for accessing the cairngorms.

The room was exceptionally clean with really comfortable beds in the private double room. The facilities were basic but enough for us such as a washbasin in the room, and the shared bathrooms were spacious and really clean with hot water. The lounge areas were comfortable with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. The self-serving kitchens had everything that one could possibly need. The staff were really welcoming and overall very well supplied.

Clean, right next to the restaurants, train station, bus stop (inter city buses and buses to nearby trekking trails), amazing and large common room with board games and snooker. Also family friendly. Clean kitchen and dining. Breakfast spread available at less than 6 pounds.

The Aviemore Hostel has a fantastic sturdy bunk bed that does not squeak when you move. The bedding is as soft and comfortable and warm as any top hotel. The showers and toilets are maintained almost hourly. Best kitchen services and free tea all day. The red room smells fresh and clean and the pool tables, TV lounge, reading book, and gaming areas are well stocked. The main reception area is friendly and well lit. My favorite parts are the clearly posted bus schedules up to Inverness and the Number 30 bus leads straight to all the major hiking areas. There is also a full set of hikes clearly posted for hikers to take advantage, snacks, drinks, and the laundry self service option after 6 pm is fabulous. Because you’re gonna get dirty out there on the hikes!!

Really friendly staff, great location, and really spacious hostel with lots of nice areas to sit. Facilities were good, a bit of wear and tear in the building but nothing of bother besides the split bit of floor in reception as I tripped on it on day 1 (hard to notice at first as it blends in). I had a private room, nice and clean with a working heater and sink. Kitchen was spacious and clean with good utensils. Would stay again!

The hosts were exceptional. We were to arrive late having a long drive and an early start to our continued journey north. The hosts ensured everything was ready for our late arrival and we were served breakfast early to ensure we were on time. I forgot to select our breakfast and we were served a quality feast! Fresh fruit, natural yoghurt, a full scottish breakfast, tea, coffee and a selection of beautiful juices. I MUST tell you how clean, actually immaculate our room was, and the beds were unbelievably comfortable! My daughter & I were thrilled with this B & B and the wonderful friendly hosts! Honestly, the best B&B we have stayed in.

Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Very welcoming and helpful hosts . Breakfast routine was very organised - beautiful food cooked freshly to order. This place was a great little find in Grantown & very central for local facilities.

The location is perfect, right in the heart of the town and opposite the train station. Aviemore is a very cute small town so it is easy to walk everywhere and the views of the Cairngorms is breath-taking. Everyone we spoke to in the hotel, around town and in the general area were just so lovely. The rooms were decorated with tartan checks and so cosy, great shower and bed and pillows were super comfy. The general feel of the hotel was so warm and welcoming. Breakfast was very good, really loved the haddock and poached egg, it was cooked to perfection. The staff were all very friendly, serving breakfast with a smile, those behind the front desk were all incredibly helpful and in particular a massive shout out to the bar staff; they really were very fabulous and friendly with fantastic banter and humour. The music every night was so good and the musicians were brilliant and very interactive. On the last night my husband was feeling poorly so unfortunately we didn't get a chance to say goodbye but thank you guys for making our stay so so good :-) We really loved our time here so much, thank you to ALL of the staff for making our stay so enjoyable xxx

This is a really delightful hotel, the local staff are so friendly and helpful as well as being properly trained, quite a rarity. The hotel restaurant was extremely busy with families as it was English half term week and lots come in from the surrounding campsites etc, the staff handled the numbers really efficiently whilst staying cheerful. The food at breakfast and dinners was excellent, generous helpings, properly provenanced with most of it from local sources, all of which are listed. Smoked haddock for breakfast, delightful! Haggis, venison, Scotch beef and really good lamb etc and plenty for veggies too. The accommodation was good, warm, very comfy bed. Our 'snug' room was perfectly adequate in size for a couple of nights, much better kitted out than a lot of much pricier places eg an ironing board, toiletries, the usual tea and coffee, plenty sockets for the good wifi. Plenty parking at the building. The bar is warm, wide selection of single malt whisky plus good beers, every evening seems to have some form of entertainment. Good location, opposite station, adjacent to bus stop for ski slope or buses to south or Inverness, shops. We know the area very well but this is the first time in decades that we've stayed but will definitely be back!

Central location, easy walking distance to local shops. Large carpark which is free for hotel guests, we visited the bar which had a good range of drinks at a reasonable price. Room and breakfast was lovely, plenty of options for breakfast cooked to order. We ate in the restaurant, food was lovely but it does get busy with both residents and non-residents. Staff were helpful and friendly, room was clean and spacious.

We checked in after a full day of hillwalking, and we so appreciated that the un-showered hillwalker is greeted with enthusiasm here. We were honestly not entirely sure what to expect. I've spent a lot of time in Aviemore but not in nearly two decades and usually on the cheap. I was trying to figure out a good base for hillwalking that was also appealing for a couples trip, as this was my wife's first trip to Scotland. The Cairngorm Hotel checked all the boxes. We particularly appreciated the friendly pub, live music and solid restaurant. The included breakfast was great, and dinner was quite good and a good value for a nice meal. We booked a King Superior Guest Room (Advance Purchase Breakfast Included), and our room was the room on the top floor with the turret. We had a great view of the Cairngorms and the room was quite nice and comfortable. Having said that, it did feel a little cramped due to the layout, but such is often the case with old buildings, so we get it! Also, the bathroom was pretty utilitarian (and there was no conditioner), and the tv on its foldout arm was wonky, but we were not in the Cairngorms to watch tv, so no big deal for us. The location (directly across from the rail station) was ideal given that we were traveling by rail and using the bus that runs up to the ski area and which departs from the rail station. Everyone with whom we interacted was very professional and friendly. Overall it was a great stay!

The room was very classic but it was clean and the bed was comfortable and it went well with the overall style of the hotel. Dinner was okay, breakfast quite good even. The location of the hotel was good too, and there was enough parking space outside. The bar was a nice addition to the experience! Best of all was the restaurant staff, very friendly and helpful people!

the apartment was very comfortable and immaculate! the beds were super comfy and bedding clean and fresh. A bag left with helpful item dishwasher tablets, cleaners, toilet roll etc . great that the thought has been put into this. I was surprised the accommodation was so spacious and would return. obviously some of the wooden furniture is a bit faded and tired but this did not in any way spoil our stay! just probably needs wee update. The setting is stunning and so peaceful and quiet. The staff ie Gardener and staff I dealt with could not have been more helpful, a great stay and wish it had been longer. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The location is great, the apartment is very comfy: especially the kitchen was very well equipped with all sorts of kitchenware, dishwasher, cooker, microwave, coffee pot, tea kettle, fridge-freezer, so we decided to cook our own meals instead of eating in a restaurant. A great way of saving money and avoiding the crowds at the restaurants! The living room had a quite comfortable sofa and a TV. The bedroom was tiny but the beds were comfortable. The shower worked well and the bathroom was quite spacious. Parking was free and we did not have any trouble finding a parking place.

We had a very comfortable stay at the Scandinavian Village. We were visiting Aviemore for a weekend of winter walking, and it was great to come back to a handy base right in the centre of town (5-10 mins walk to local shops, restaurants etc). The apartment itself was very clean and comfortable, and had a nice outlook from the front windows over the balcony & to the hills beyond. Everything we needed was provided, including a welcome pack with tea, coffee etc. Would definitely stay here again given the location and value for money.

Comfortable, spotlessly clean, easy check in, excellent facilities, great shower, comfortable beds. Balcony was great. Walking distance to town centre, plenty parking.

The hostel is in the perfect location for what I needed. The rooms are spacious, clean and warm. The bathrooms seemed newly redone, are clean and the showers are excellent. It has good facilities (kitchen, drying room, washing machines...). The common room is nice and cosy, with lovely views. Free parking. Very dog friendly (dogs are allowed everywhere except the kitchen).

The nature surrounding Cairngorm Lodge is gorgeous and there's many different trails close by for beginners and veterans alike. The Hostel even has it's own restaurant which is good value for money. The staff were always really friendly and helpful and were able to help with any that may arise. But by far my favourite thing about the hostel was the "quiet room" with it's comfortable sofas and chairs. There's even newly renovated bathrooms/bath pods which are really slick looking. I can warmly recommend this Hostel to anyone staying in the Highlands. And I can also recommend Glenmore as it is breathtaking.

Very young and friendly staff! Rooms and Bathrooms were clean and modern. Nice and tasty meals (cooked breakfast and dinner). It probably was the best hostel on my whole trip!

Perfect stay in the hostel. Clean and tidy. Kitchen facilities are good for cooking and also the dinner was served in a reasonable price. The pub near to the hostel had live music and cheap drinks. All activities near to the hostel. Wifi and charging mobile phones were the negatives. Atleast one charging port in the rooms would have been helpful.
