Very nice and very clean modern rooms. Besides the coffee, the breakfast buffet was good, a lot of food , a good variety (cold, warm, fruit....). The staff friendly and helpful. Free parking! I would not hesitate to stay there again!

You couldn’t ask for anything more. The room was clean and comfortable at a good price. Reception was super helpful. The breakfast buffet scrumptious. We asked about a recommendation for dinner and they recommended the steakhouse across the street. We ate at a Extrablatt just two blocks east, and had the most amazing, authentic German meal. All around wonderful stay for one night before river cruise.

Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent service! Really great place to stay. Clean and spacious rooms, modern bathrooms, small kitchen is bonus . The view from our window was spectacular. Seeing the three countries bridge and the river every morning was amazing. We stayed 11 days and would choose the same hotel again when we stay in the city. We spend a night end of April 2019. This is mainly a business or short stay hotel very convenient if you need to be close to Basel and with a very good quality/price ratio. Our romm was huge, modern, probablu recently refurbished, well appointed and very comfortable with all the amenities you would expect in this hotel category. The property is situated with a shopping mall on floors 5, 6, 7 and so is is a little confusing at first, but signage is consistent in order to reach the reception and restaurant on floor 6. Parking is free of charge in the mall parking lot another plus. We had both dinner and lunch at the hotel and while dinner can be a bit overpriced, breakfast was huge and very weill priced at 10 € pp. We enjoyed both! Staff are nice and welcoming. In all a very good choice for a short stay.

We had a wonderful week-long stay during the Eurovision Song Contest! The room was extremely spacious and very clean. All the staff we encountered was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was very tasty. While it wasn’t a huge deal, the shower had issues regulating temperature, going from very cold to very hot when not adjusting the faucet. Given the amenities of the shopping area attached, and the great connectivity into Basel, I would not hesitate to stay here again when my travels bring me back to the Basel region.

We stayed here for two nights in December. It is a very easy to get to from the main train station. You just need to take a quick ride on the S train and then it is a very short walk to the hotel. It is also about a 10 minute walk to several sites. The building itself is beautiful and unique. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate dinner at the restaurant one night. The food and service were top notch. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. We recommend that you try the restaurant. Our room was outside of the main building. The room was unique, romantic, clean and quiet. The amenities were appreciated. The room was smaller than what we would expect here (in the US); however, it was larger than most in Europe. The bathroom was large and included a tub and shower. We had a nice view of the patio and the koi pond. We would definitely stay here again and recommend both the hotel and restaurant.

I forgot to book a hotel at the airport. Looked on line for hours and finally found this hotel. Apparently they had a cancelation and I am so glad. Hotel is probably not convenient for walking around and doing tourist things (possibly, I did not try but immediate impression is no) but to go, stay and eat, it is perfect. Old style, small hotel with extremely modern bathrooms. Parking on site but very limited. No elevator so pack light (3 floors). Staff extremely helpful especially the older gentlemen who checked me in. He arranged a last minute reservation in the restaurant which (according to him) is one of the best in town and possibly in Germany. A big claim but I must say I had a wonderful pre fix dinner with wine pairings. After traveling there for 28 years It was one of the best meals I have ever had in Germany. Wine list looked excellent, but when possible I like to do the suggested pairings to try new things, anyway, a bottle alone is a bit much - possibly 500 ml but not 750. Restaurant says no laptops or cell phones which I appreciate, however, an iPad helps when dining alone and I must take photos of the food and send to my wife so she can (somewhat) enjoy! Sorry, I broke the rules (discretely) but was not thrown out!

Very quick check in and good service starting with the staff assisting with luggage. The room was clean, and very comfortable with a lovely patio outside the room. Beautiful bathroom. Amenities included a mini bar with options for purchase. A delicious apple was at each bedside. Enjoyed a German breakfast in the onsite restaurant. Convenient to the Mercedes museum. Would definitely stay here again.

My stay here was pretty good. I thought the hotel was beautiful. I stayed in a "castle room" and it was decent size for one person. I found the shower strange with the glass partition over just half of it so a lot of water ends up on the floor. I think this is a Germany thing though because my next hotel in Munich had the same partition. Bed was soft and comfy, another Germany quirk is no top sheet but just a duvet. A/C worked well. Breakfast was just ok, lots of breads and cheese and the waitress asked if we wanted an omelette and it was a decent cheese omelette but honestly, we skipped the breakfast the second day because we were underwhelmed. The Koi pond in back was beautiful! A nice surprise. Parking was TIGHT so if you have bigger car good luck. Onsite parking was great to have though (for a fee). I didn't have an ipad in my room but my friend did and she said it didn't really do anything. I also didn't know I had a mini bar in my room until checkout... probably a good thing ;) All in all enjoyed my stay - staff was very friendly and made me feel welcome.

The location was awesome in the old city. The view from the windows was amazing. Quiet at nights. Access to restaurants and cafes. Renovated building and the apartment. Great shower cabin with rain shower.

The location was great, right next to the old bridge so the view is lovely, as is the little patio area out the back. The castle and high street are also nearby which is convenient though I would avoid Excelsior. The bed was comfortable though the duvet and pillows kept coming out of the cases, shower is a great size with large shower head, water pressure could be better. Sofa is comfortable, we pulled it out into a bed to lounge on while watching TV one evening, was lovely. Overall a lovely apartment to stay in, had no trouble while there and walked to anywhere nearby we needed to go.

Great location, all the sights, restaurants and shops in the old town right on the door step and beautiful views of the river and bridge from our room. A few small toiletries (shampoo, shower gel) and hairdryer provided. Also small amount of supplies in kitchen (jams, milk, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets). Comfortable beds and on the whole apartment was really nice. Would highly recommend if you are looking to stay in Heidelberg old town.

The location is amazing - in the old town minutes walk attractions, main market Square, restaurants etc - view of the river and old bridge. Very clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Great place

Stayed for several nights, on a business trip. Apartments are above the restaurant, and one I stayed in was beyond the expectations. A very comfortable and tasteful mix of traditional and modern, old wooden beams, with a water bed and hot tub in the room. They don't serve breakfast, BUT the room is equipped with a kitchenette and they will leave a variety of tasty options for breakfast in the fridge.

Nicely renovated spacious room in an old building. We had the top floor room, which meant climbing up 3 flights of stairs. Breakfast is complimentary (diverse items in fridge, coffee/tea etc). Very central location in Biberach, close to the central square (beautifully!). We had the luck of coming on a local feast day, with lots of activities on the square.

The room had everything we needed to have a nice stay. The location was walking distance to the town square. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner outdoors at the restaurant. In the room's refrigerator, the host provided a German breakfast of drinks, bread, ham slices, and yogurt.

Everything except WiFi. Very cozy and authentic, warm and welcoming atmosphere.

We absolutely loved our stay at Residence Ente! The staff was incredibly friendly and gave us great recommendations. We had the business suite and it was huge. We enjoyed making tea and coffee in the room while looking out at St. Martins church. The hotel is centrally located and easy to get to from the train station.

We stayed at Hotel Mack travelling through to Italy. We felt like we’d fallen lucky on arrival as it was one of the nicest looking hotels and was on the outskirts of the centre, however close enough to walk to restaurants and shops. The room was superb, a family suite with loads of room and really clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a luxury and again, tons of room with a great shower, good lighting and very clean. Breakfast was simple and brilliant quality, they are fantastic with eggs!!! The stand out highlight was the service, from the welcome from the owner to the team in the dining room, such warm and welcoming hosts, incredibly friendly, courteous but with professionalism, you are welcomed to take refreshments from the minibar and leave a note to let them know what you owe, this restores such faith in mankind and it was lovely to experience people have such a level of trust and mutual respect. All naturally Covid secure and it felt safe. We would recommend this and we will certainly be returning here to explore the area. It’s made our long journey a pleasurable part of our holiday.

very beautiful building and rooms, nicely furnished with two comfortable armchairs and with a spacious desk. Bed were comfortable and we had access to a balcony (but did not use it). Bathroom was very nice with a large and comfortable shower (I really loved the shower!). Breakfast was delicious and fresh prepared. Staff was accommodating and helpful. Because reception is only staffed until 7pm, late check in is a little complicated but worked well. There is no fridge in the room, but a large common refrigerator downstairs where one can take what one needs and write it down to be put on the room.

We stayed here for one night, picking the hotel mainly because it was recommended by the box office of the Nationaltheater as being situated close by. The location was perfect for our opera visit and also for an extensive walk the next morning in the beautiful Louisenpark (a cross between a botanical garden and a zoo) close by. A brisk 10-minute walk had us back in the main railway station when it was time to leave. The hotel is a delightful, almost time-warp, establishment reminding us of visits to Germany fifty years ago and more. We booked a 'modernised' room at euro 117 incl. breakfast (a totally satisfactory buffet). Our 4th floor bedroom had ample hanging and shelf space in the cupboards and a comfortable bed. There was an easy-to-use safe as well, sensibly located at eye height (no need to lie flat on the floor to operate it as is often the case). Our bathroom had an excellent shower, good lighting and plenty of shelf space for toiletries, a rare luxury in modern hotels. Had one had a great deal of luggage, the lift's stopping on a half landing might have been an issue, but we did not find this inconvenient. Help would presumably also been forthoming if one could not handle one's own suitcase - all the receptionists we encountered were obliging and friendly.

The quiet city hotel is characterized by its very comfortable beds, a fast WiFi network and a good breakfast, especially the scrambled eggs are very tasty due to the spices and herbs used. There is also fresh fruit and fruit salad. In front of the house there are free parking places, I found one at 5.30pm in the evening without any problems. A air condition/heating system is available and can be controlled individually. According to a frequent guest, the hotel is always very well booked, a thing that does not surprise me considering the very good price-performance ratio.

We had a great stay at this hotel. It was spotlessly clean, and the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. The hotel seems to be family-run, and during our stay, the owners—two brothers—were personally taking care of the reception, which added a very warm and welcoming touch. They seemed genuinely passionate about providing a good experience. The location is also very convenient, just a few minutes from the city center and easy to reach. Highly recommended for a clean, friendly, and well-located stay.

Beautiful hotel with character. We have got the room upgrade for free which was very pleasant. The bathroom with jacuzzi was really impressive!

We were provided with a lovely large comfortable room for our 4 night stay. It was spotlessly clean and the shower was amazing. That said, considerable outside noise from roadworks and rather early local church bells were not ideal. However, we appreciate that these are things beyond the hotel's control. Breakfast was courteously serviced but we would suggest eating at the beginning of breakfast service as items did run out. Parking at the sister hotel a few minutes walk away was perfectly convenient. More widely, we loved Baden-Baden. Our long panaramic walk in the forest, our time spent in the historic Spa and our evening watching an absolutely brilliant play at the beautiful local theatre were among the highlights.

Amazing stay! The hotel is very classic and beautiful! All of the staff were very kind and helpful from the servers in the restaurant to the people at the reception desk. Breakfast was very good with a lot of food options. Drink options included specialty coffees, juices, teas, and even mimosas. The rooms are spacious with plenty of Storage and the hotel is in a convenient location. We enjoyed our time here and will recommend Der Kler Prinz to anyone traveling to Baden-Baden.

This very fancy hotel with a friendly staff is located in downtown Baden Baden. The historical vibe of this hotel is definitely an asset! It offers a clean room, a comfy bed, and a tasty breakfast buffet in the morning. There's a hotel parking closeby.

Our stay at Maison Messmer Spa Hotel was fabulous! Everyone who works there was wonderful to us. They were very friendly, fun to talk to and even willing to help us with our terrible German. The location is excellent. Only a five minute walk to the center of town. Lots of shops, restaurants and a beautiful path along the canal are only a few steps away. We walked over to the famous Friedrichsbad spa in about 10 minutes. Absolutely a must do if you are in Baden Baden. The spa at Maison Messmer was also very well appointed with high quality facilities. They have a steam-room, sauna, massage rooms, quiet rooms for resting and a swimming pool. There is also a section of the pool where they have the most powerful bubble maker we’ve ever seen. We were a little embarrassed because we were like a couple of kids playing around in the volcano of air. You definitely have to try that if you stay there. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was first rate. The only issue we had was we were not able to book breakfast included through Expedia. They have a really nice breakfast buffet for 32 euros that we highly recommend. Most of the other guests were able to include breakfast with their room but apparently Expedia doesn’t support it. When we go back to Baden Baden we are definitely staying at the Maison Messmer Spa Hotel.

A charming and beautiful building in an amazing town right by the Casino and steps from restaurants and Lichtentaler Allee. The executive rooms with terrace are definitely worth it for morning coffee city views. The hotel's spa and gym are very nice, they are maintained and kept pretty clean at all times. The staff were also very nice and helpful. The only negative is what all other reviews mentioned, the towels, bathrobes, and even the bedding were very old that my pillow case was shredding. I've never experienced this even at 3 star hotels. It wasn't excellent but a pretty good stay.

Great location, central, everything in walking distance. Calmst night! We were in the 4th floor and the view was fantastic towards the town. The breakfast was 5 star!!! Never had such a variety of dishes!! We only had breakfast and then dinner- that was enough to keep us going. A friend came to share a cappuccino with us at breakfast. I wanted to pay for it and the reception but they offered it👍.

Wonderful surroundings, wonderful host. The rooms are very clean, quiet and spacious. The owner is exceptionally warm and friendly and gives excellent tips that make the overall stay very enjoyable. We felt extremely comfortable in this guesthouse.

The belle epoque hotel takes you back in time to a beautiful, aristocrat era. Luxurious without being pretentious. The staff were all very friendly, kind, helpful and anticipated your needs without having to ask. They all remembered my coffee order after the first morning. Breakfast was served in a sumptuous dining room. The selection was delicious having both indulgent and healthy options. The garden just off the dining room is an oasis in the middle of the town. They serve tea between 3-5. And set you up in front of a cozy fireplace. The tea selection was huge and delicious. The room is large with a vey comfortable bed ( I have difficulties sleeping and slept through the night). The bathroom has a shower and a huge jacuzzi tub with an extra paid option where they bring you goodies for a beautiful experience. The location was a two minute walk to all the shops. I fell in love with this charming hotel and will definitely be back.

Everything was perfect. The hotel is a beauty - a 19th centure palais which has kept its atmosphere while including nearly all modern amenities (no elevator, though, only stairs). We stayed at the main building, in a beautiful suite with balcony, ac and a whirlpool where everything was, again, perfect. Breakfast is sumptuous, the breakfast rooms are stylish; weather permitting, you can also have breakfast on the terrace or in the garden near the fountain. During the day, you can also lounge at the garden, near the fountain or in the shade under the trees. There is free afternoon tea and cake and you can get drinks in the evening at the fireplace or, again, in the garden. All in all very relaxing (and I managed the stairs even on two crutches...). The hotel is near the city center, a bus stop is near by.

My stay at this hotel represented one of the most relaxing parts of a recent trip. The hotel was staff was exceptionally helpful, courteous and friendly. My room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfast was also very good, and met my expectations. Two pleasant surprises were afternoon tea, which was very relaxing in the hotel garden (I visited in late Spring/early Summer) and the sparkling wine served during breakfast.

Everything about our stay was exceptional. Would definitely stay here again. 1) Great location, walkable to all key sites, old town, casino, theater, concert hall, parks, restaurants; 2) great buffet breakfast in a lovely setting; 3) very helpful and attentive staff; 4) the entire place is elegant, circa 1874 building, our room was the lovely and large “The Mozart Room”, other rooms are even nicer and larger; 5) onsite parking, no problem handling our car; 6) lovely sitting area room; 7) outdoor grounds are lovely; 8) if you need to do laundry (you’re on a long trip), coin-operated self-service washing and dryer machines 1.5 blocks away. Didn’t want to leave!

Both the day and night teams were very helpful, informative, and took great care of us. Their warm hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was also good The freshly made egg omelette was my wifes l favourite—delicious and well-prepared. Pros: Excellent location Spacious and comfortable rooms breakfast Friendly and attentive staff Cons: The towels could be improved; they seemed a bit old and had an unpleasant smell. Either replacing them or ensuring a more thorough wash would really help. Overall, we had a lovely experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

The location is perfect, downtown at the central square. The room was very comfortable and very clean. The breakfast also very good, all you need and more to start a day! P.S. the staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived 11am and the lady at the front desk made arrangements with an Italian restaurant nearby so we could have something to eat. We appreciated a lot having kids. Would recommend 100%

We chose Hotel Kaiserhof because we thought it would be only a couple of blocks from the Christmas market. Wrong. More like 40 feet. Service was outstanding, everyone was kind, informative and spoke excellent English. The room turned out to be a suite. Fairly spacious, modern and comfortable once these Floridians figured out the controls for hot water heat. Breakfast was the typical lavish German breakfast spread, plenty of everything. But the best part was the Christkindelmarkt, a totally different vibe from the international tourist town atmosphere of Strasbourg and Colmar. This was friendly, all local, not very big but a strong focus on local handmade products. Oh, and good festival food. And Gluehwein. And elaborately decorated stalls. And an appearance by Weinachtsmann himself, on a sleigh riding on twin cables 20 meters up! The kids loved it, including quite a few of the 70-year-old kids. A great experience!

Amazing hotel. The location is great for visiting nearby cities and wonderful hikes. The room was relatively small but had everything we needed. The rooms have air-conditioning which is nice on hotter days. The bathroom was modern and clean. The room is provided with bathrobes and plenty towels, also to take with you to the pool and spa. The spa was amazing and not too crowded. It's the perfect activity on rainy days. The pool was rather cold as I think it's not a heated pool, luckily the whirlpool was hot and super comfortable. The breakfast was extensive, with some hot items, loads of cold cuts and cheese, yoghurt with fruits and toppings, fresh hot drinks, juices and even bubbles. The staff was lovely. They were happy to help in every way they could. Both in German and English.

We stayed in a roomy, modern space with a private sauna that was spotless and super comfortable. The sauna was amazing. We only had the breakfast at the hotel, but it was tasty and had lots of options. While we didn’t get to try out the other amenities, we definitely recommend this hotel for its stunning views and great hiking nearby. Dog friendly.

We had a beautiful stay. First of all Durbach is a great holiday destination with lots of hikes and restaurants easily reachable from the hotel. The hotel has great facilities - we particularly loved the big spa area and rooftop sauna and terrace. The breakfast was one of the best I had in a while with lots of high quality regional products and specials like fresh waffles. The staff was very friendly and helpful and contributed to a great stay.

Our chalet was new, spotless, excellently kitted out, comfortable beds, lovely staff. Facilities at the campsite were also great - play areas, shop, bread to order, restaurant was fab, could not really fault it.

They have about 4-5 saunas, 1 pool, jacuzzi inside and outside, treatments area and 3 different gorgeous quiet areas with beds and laying chairs to chill/read/nap/watch a movie. The food flavor, quality and versatility was good and satisfying. The place looks exactly like in the pictures they presented and even better! That’s a very important point for me. Plenty of parking and even with electric vehicles charger right in front. We absolutely loved our stay, will definitely recommend it and most definitely come back again in the future. Was a wonderful couple gateway for us.

The breakfast was very good, and throughout the day free coffee, tea, and both still and sparkling water were available in the hotel lobby. The location is convenient — there’s a tram stop right in front of the hotel. Nevertheless, it’s about a 15–20 minute walk to the city center and around 15 minutes to the Central Station. There’s a supermarket next door and some good restaurants in the area. Excellent Wi-Fi as well. Overall, a great stay and very good value for money.

The hotel is really nice, clean and has a very good location - the nearby streets have beautiful architecture and it was a good starting point for our personal walk tour through sights of Karlsruhe. The bathroom was exceptionally nice. And also breakfast was very nicely managed - with a really broad range of options. The hotel has really soon check in (14:00 if I remember correctly) and late check out (11:00) - which was very appreciated. There is also an area at the reception where you can make yourself a cup of coffee or tea, which is a nice touch. I think this is a nice idea and prefer it this way actually (with one big machine of high quality), rather than to have a cheap coffee machine at each hotel room. The receptionists were very professional, kind and helpful. They explained the parking options right away during check in: 1) there is a paid garage that is quite narrow and 2) there is also a free rooftop parking available - the receptionist opens the entryway for the car, and the rooftop parking is accesible from the second floor of the hotel, although the entrance from the roof to the hotel is not marked very well - it is kinda in the middle of the parking area (not on the sides). We also visited the hotel bar, having received the 50% off your first drink voucher that comes with each booking (per person). The hotel bar was very nicely furnished, and the staff seemed very knowledgeable about the drinks, and service was good.

Best bed and pillows of our two weeks in Europe! Almost like home. And truly the largest breakfast buffet we have seen in 6 years! It was amazing! What a gem this hotel is. Convenient walk from the train, easy to walk to the Fine Art Gallery and the Palace Museum. Great location. Friendly helpful staff. They kept our luggage all day after our check out until our evening train. My photo is a view from our windows of the street scene.

Be familiar with german food items we do not blame our lack of knowledge, the waitress was very understanding and was more than willing to allow us to ask many questions. Breakfast was wonderful. Free coffee and cake on the balcony overlooking the marvelous terrain was ver fulfilling. The onsite indoor pool was a awesome. It offers a Jacuzzi with warm water, a water fall faucet, and a built in current the allows you to swim against.

For this kind of hotel the wellness is just a perfect dream ! You should enjoy some time in the 10 sauna/hammam and perfect and clean indor pool. Our prefered sauna is the outside selfmade one. Very clean hotel, outstanding team, very tipical style (don't expect and new glass wall style you are in a tipical black forest house). We had an old but clean room, and enjoyed this very quiet place. It was during week, but with children it must be also a perfect place for the whole familly we noticed many nice thing made for them. Restaurant is very good, waiter high class and very helpfull. Again cooking is blackforest not Mac Donald either new cuisine just delicious local and excelent quality. Breakfeast itself would deserve the trip, what do you expect? you will get it there, Thank you Trip advisor you gave us the idea to try this hotel despite a litle higher price , we are sure that we will have a nice lovely romantic weekend there as soon as possible.

The Basler Hof is located right at end of the valley on the edge of the woods close to the top of the mountain 720 mtrs , easy accessible by car . The hotel is very modern , friendly and helpful staff. The Spa Facilities are outstanding, dinner in the hotel is good , breakfast buffet is excellent. All rooms have a beautiful view over the valley , nice balcony. Swimming pool is nice and refreshing on a hot summer day. The woods around the hotel offers some great walks. Wifi in the rooms does not work only in the public areas but the hotel does offer a RJ45 to connect to the LAN.

The hotel is located at the very end of the village after a steep drive up. The staff is very friendly, it's clean and the pool and the sauna's are very nice. We missed the whirlpool function to massage after a long day in the surrounding hills. The breakfast is wonderful arranged and all Covid-19 measures are taken. The dinner in the little restaurant of the house is delicious, but only enough if you just arrived. If you're coming from a day hiking or cycling, it's not enough by far. We can recommend the house for very relaxing vacations. The Wifi in the hotel is available but very weak and unstable.

I spent two weeks deciding on whether to stay at this property and I am glad that we did. This has to be one of the best places we have stayed. Location was great and a good staging point to explore the local area. Watch the sat nav as it got a little confused regarding location. The hotel was at the end of a steep road, this was an advantage as it was incredibly peaceful. The room was ideal for my family - ours had a bunk bed. Whilst the furniture was a little dated, it was comfortable and met our requirements. Facilities were great, we loved the indoor pool and sauna. There was also an outdoor pool which we didn't try. The downstairs area is great for relaxing in the evening with a quiet drink. We also tried the Bistro for dinner and found the food basic but reasonable. Breakfast was included and there was a good variety. Host - Our Hosts are what made the stay truly memorable. On arrival we were shown to our room and given a general rundown. They were generally interested in what we were doing each day, provided ideas on what else to do in the area.

Dinner in the restaurant was excellent as was the breakfast. The room we were in was well equipped with comfortable beds. Notable was also the very pleasant staff, at the reception, waiters in the restaurant, up to the cook.

The hotel overall was great. Very clean. Room was quite big. Beds very comfortable, including baby's bed (1yr and half). The crew was very customer services oriented. Environment really family friendly and quiete. Breakfast was really good and the dinner was fantastic! Prices for dinner are razonable in comparison with the market. You can chose in between what the have for the day or A la carte. For real I would recommend it to my family and friends. And for sure, We will be back!

We stayed in one of the chalet cabins and really enjoyed our stay, the cabin was comfortable and quiet. The view from the patio and balcony was amazing and it was large enough that everyone was able to have their own room. A definite bonus! Plus the main building offered a very nice breakfast and access to after hours drinks if that's your thing. The staff was also super accomodating!

The person at the reception was very kind and helpful. We had an excellent breakfast with a fantastic view. The room was very clean ,nice, comfortable and new. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back. Thank you.

I recently stayed at Hotel Villa Toskana for one night and had an overall pleasant experience. The hotel’s location is fantastic—convenient yet peaceful, making it a perfect spot for a quick getaway. During the day we were able to reach all of the local attractions like the brewery, the mini golf area and the castle. We booked the Rittermahl event dinner at night and had a lot of fun. The food was delicious and the fire show spectacular. We slept very well, enjoyed a yummy breakfast and had a relaxing day in the local spa. All in all we had a great couple weekend.

This is an interesting Knight/Medieval-themed hotel in the center of a small historical town in Southern Germany. I was only here for one night (on business nearby). The room was spacious and comfortable, and spotlessly clean; the underfloor heating in the bathroom was especially nice. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was a small buffet, but had everything you need. Staff were very friendly. Would recommend!

This was booked for my wife's birthday whilst on a motorbike trip around Europe. We enjoyed the knights/castle theme and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was vey spacious and had a roll top bath in the corner of the bedroom. The bathroom had a separate toilet and a spacious shower as well. We ate a good meal here in the evening and the breakfast was good in the morning. There wasn't loads of parking but easy enough for us as we were on a motorbike which I parked outside our room.

The room was very small with so little space we couldn't fit our three small cases in without piling them on top of one another. The window, by design, only partially opened and the room was therefore much to hot as there was no air-conditioning. The bathroom was very small also, with barely any free floor space. The communal areas of the hotel were great and the food was lovely. We ate in the restaurant twice and enjoyed good food at a reasonable price. Like every where we visited in Germany, tap water isn't served and a litre of bottled water adds approximately 8 euros to the dinner bill. The hotel is a great base for visiting local attractions but is in the most odd setting, in an industrial, quiet town in which there were no shops or restaurants of note. Only stay here if you have a car and are willing to eat in the hotel or drive some distance to find a restaurant. Overall, probably wouldn't stay here again based on room comfort.

The flat is perfectly located (6 minutes to drive to Europa Park) in a quiet neighborhood, with places to park a car. The owners were very kind and useful concerning the check-in and the advices about the surroundings and available shops and restaurants (we loved the thai one by the way!). The flat is just amazing : very wide living space with a huge comfortable living room, 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms, TVs in all rooms. We enjoyed every minute we spent there :)

The place was clean and spacious - perfect for a family of 5! The hosts are very nice and hospitable! On the last day, our bus did not come and they offered us a complementary ride :-). The accomodation is a short bus ride from Europa park, and an excellent value for money!

Feels like home, having freedom to use the kitchen. Privacy and comfort. Host was friendly and helpful.

I literally loved this hotel. My boyfriend (27) & I (24) spent two nights here & it was perfect. Location is great- quiet area but easy to get to the main areas & metro. The staff were pleasant. The breakfast was delicious. We had the sunset room which consisted of low lighting, a low bed, amazing open shower, surround sound music & a brilliant bathtub/jacuzzi on the private balcony. The room was clean just slightly small. The only slight thing which wasn't great was how open the toilet was. It literally felt like you had just popped behind a fence but this was only a minor complaint. I 100% recommend this hotel as a very cool boutique hotel with plenty of different choice of exciting and unique rooms!

This hotel is stunning. I arrived a little late and so the min reception was closed but within what seemed like seconds a member of staff arrived at the door to greet me and assist me with my bags to get booked in. They had upgraded my room at no additional cost and what a stunning room. The rooms are all different but my leopard print, jacuzzi suite could not have been more perfect. This hotel is a hidden treasure. I would encourage your sense of fun and professionalism to visit . I was so impressed that they knew my name and so the hotel felt like visiting an old friend despite this being my first visit. It won't be my last! Go! Go! Go! Have some some fun and be treated like a VIP guest.

I visited the hotel Der Zauberlehrling in the month of July for a short stay, only one day for a business trip. The hotel is really close to the city center, only 5 mins walking. It is a boutique hotel and all the rooms are different. I stayed in a huge room at first floor called Wolke 7 with jacuzzi in the centre of the room, shower in the open space and a round and comfy bed which was kind of fancy and bizarre. The room is very nicely furnished and good for a long stay too. The reception was very quick, maybe a bit cold but fine. I didn't try the breakfast as it was very pricey. Overall a very nice and different experience. For sure it is worth even if the cost is a bit high (but in line with Stuttgart which is not very cheap and limited choice of hotel in the Centre) Will go back

We had a very nice stay in the hotel and restaurant around New Year. The location is perfect in the city center on a side street without much hustle and bustle. The hotel is divided into 2 houses and we had a room with a terrace on the third floor. Very nice view & decoration in the room. I think you can see in the pictures that the double rooms are especially for couples. We also had the bathtub in the middle of the room. The motto was like the room name and the best thing was the dinner in the restaurant. Very friendly reception staff.

The breakfast truly is amazing, everything is fresh and cooked perfectly. We loved the fruit options, and very much enjoyed the crepes and waffles. Pools are great, loved the heated outdoor pool, our son wanted to stay all day in the spa area! He was happy with his comfy bathrobe. We felt very at home. The room was very comfortable too. We recommend this hotel for those looking for quality and peace.

We had a lovely stay at Friedrichsruhe. From the first moment, our experience was outstanding. We got a room upgrade to a beautiful room in the "Schloss". The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was so friendly and helpful, The spa is stunning, and one of our highlights was we got to drive the AMG EQS from the hotel. The property is very well maintained and does not look old, despite the more "classic" feel. We totally recommend the hotel. It's perfect for a retreat in the german countryside.

A wonderful, hidden gem, surrounded by forest and farm land. They're not used to having American's nor English staying, which added to the charm and tranquility. The rooms in the hunting lodge were beautiful and peaceful. The food was exceptional, we ate all all three restaurants. The breakfast was amazing, best bread ever! The Spa was probably the best spa I've ever visited. The treatments were excellent and reasonably priced. Tina is an outstanding masseuse I thought the overall price was reasonable for the services and amenities.

Exceeds expectations From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond - not a single unfriendly face, just warm smiles and a genuine willingness to help. When we mentioned that our TV wasn’t working, the receptionist brought a projector and a full-size screen. That kind of service is rare and deeply appreciated. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding, delicious, beautifully presented, and with great variety. The kitchen offers a buffet, but also several dishes to be prepared as per request (included in the price). Everything in the hotel was spotless and fully functional. The design is stylish, and the spa area is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The location is magical. The castle is tucked away from everything, surrounded by nature. Deer are walking around the grounds… it felt like a fairytale. And the view… just wow. Overall, it felt like stepping into a different world, peaceful, beautiful, and full of light. Location is very good with a view on the valley, the spa area is super nice and the outdoor swimming pool is warm even in winter. We didn’t use it but the gym was very modern and functional. There are several locations within the hotel where you can get free small healthy snacks, tea and water. The restaurant is good too. The room is cozy and has all functionalities you need. The staff is available and very friendly.

We spent two days at Burghotel Staufeneck and had a really great time! You can just tell that the hotel and the restaurants are family-run and that everyone is passionate about what they do. With its beautiful, modern rooms, infinity pool and modern spa area, the hotel is an absolute dream and more than deserves its 5-star rating. The food in the adjoining restaurant was also excellent. We would love to come back soon!

Hotel liegt in schöner Umgebung, allerdings weit weg vom eigentlichen Zentrum von Rheinfelden. Zimmer in Ordnung aber sicher schon älter dafür sehr ruhig. Restaurant ist sehr gut. Frückstück ist durchschnitt aber ok, nur die vielen Fruchtfliegen am offenen Buffet nervig/unschön. Alles in allem ok für Kurzaufenthalt.

Very comfy hotel with plenty of on-site parking. The beds at this hotel were the most comfortable of our three week trip, they have a delightful dense springiness and are well made with comfortable linens and pillows. Our kids loved the bunk beds, and we loved how sturdy and safe the bunk beds felt. The location was great for us, we visited some of the local castles and did some hiking, as well as went into town for simple dinner. We arrived after hours, the staff was super fast and helpful to get us in.

The room is new and the bed is comfortable. The price for 4 persons with breakfast is very good. The breakfast is excellent. The restaurant personnel is taking good of their food! Nice

The apartment was spacious, comfortable and very clean. It was about 15 minute walk from the railway station and then another 15 minutes or so to the centre of town which made it a good place to have as a base. It was very modern inside but also had a 'quaint' feel which made it seem quite unique. It was quiet even though it was reasonably close to a shopping area. The beds were comfy and the shower easy to use.

Everything about this property is perfect - location, size, cleanliness and amenities. The owner is very helpful, and caring. The apartment is at a perfect location. It has a nice parking space, that is just along the house. The apartment is very spacious with beautiful design, fully equipped, it's extremely comfortable and exceptionally clean! Highly recommended!

The apartment was spacious and exceptionally clean. The bedroom was very comfortable and the kitchen facilities were perfect! The apartment is in a very accessible part of the city and the ground floor where we stayed only required a few small steps to arrive at the front door- very good for people who can't manage floors of stairs while carrying heavy suitcases. The decoration in the apartment is also lovely- so a very place to stay and only a short walk to the centre of the city.

Spacious, clean and quiet with convenient parking. The basement washing machine and dryer is a plus.

But above all – it was Rami’s hospitality that made this experience so exceptional. He gave us great advice on places to visit, made restaurants reservations for us, and made sure we had everything we needed. Everything was amazing! Our family of 2 adults and 2 teens found the Silver Fir suite to be perfect. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were immaculate, and the bathroom was spacious and well-equipped. Our hosts were amazing - they provided excellent advice on things to do, made dinner reservations for us, and were extremely welcoming and gracious. The breakfasts were delicious and freshly prepared. We also appreciated that they spoke English. The setting and location were ideal. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, but not far from many activities. We would recommend the RotmeerHaus to any traveler and look forward to going back to stay there and explore more of the beautiful Black Forest!

This facility is an unusual 500-year-old farmhouse. Beautifully renovated with the most up to date amenities and modern designs. Each room was different and a wonderful creation. All integrated in the original building of hundreds of years. A quite hillside location with a great view and only 3 guest rooms... this is a truly boutique experience. The house is run by Rami and Michael. Very friendly, helpful and interesting guys. The breakfast was absolutely amazing with a great selection of breads, vegetables, fruits meats and eggs, all of utmost quality and in a beautiful setting. The room was large and very well appointed. WONDERFUL !!!

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning. It is situated up a hill with great views and a nice seating area outside. We were very happy here.

Breakfast was excellent..somehow eggs were tastier than any other hotels. We even got some coupons to get discounts on local attractions. All staff were very helpful and welcoming. Hotel location itself is not scenic but most attractions around the area are drivable 10-30min drive.. Expecially families of 4 rooms are spacious

Great breakfast. Very friendly staff. Lots of common areas in the hotel to sit and relax. It has a nice lodge feel but is clean and modern as well. Rothaus Brewery is an easy walk.

Drinks and coffee available 24/7 with cozy corners to rest in all floors. Nice breakfast with true nuts and different rooms to enjoy it.

Everything. The hotel was beautifully positioned on the edge of the forest walk to the Schlüchtsee. The room with the balcony was fabulous, staff were great, breakfast was lovely. The present of homemade jam when we were leaving was a lovely touch. The honour system for taking cold Rothaus beers as and when one wanted them was a delight.

Great countryside location, especially nice with the snow. Good breakfast, fliendly staff. Tea/Coffee any time.

We booked the Suite. It was an awesome experience! Great view over the city and the lake! The space is so huge and comfortable. With whirlpool, great shower, huge tv, open fire, completely windowed.. If you want your private sphere shut the rollers down. Easy! Everything remote. The suite includes a little kitchen as well. Additional a minibar with free drinks. If it isn’t enough it is free to pick up more in the restaurant for free! Really nice stay… we will do it again!

What an amazing experience!mWe stayed on the 8th floor, view to the lake of Constance and Radolfszell. The interior design and the architecture are great. Rooms are decorated very nicely, so is the bathroom. Breakfast on the 11th floor was really good, staff helpful and always present and friendly.

Really nice hotel. We enjoyed it during our short trip to visit our friends. We didn’t realize though that it is run by a small staff and the reception closes early (at 6pm.) So we had to do a self check in which they organized for us. The same was true about the checkout. We had to leave early to catch our flight from Zurich so we had to leave the room keys without talking to anyone. Hope it wasn’t a problem. Oh and we also paid for the breakfast which was served on the 11th floor with a great view of the city. I’d definitely recommend it. It was a buffet style with a selection of lunch meats, cheeses, salmon, fruit cocktail, cereal, eggs and drinks. We enjoyed it a lot.

I was staying for one night on my way to Italy. The hosts were friendly and helpful. I felt welcome. The room was very comfortable and clean. The bed was fantastic. I slept really well here. Nearby (walking distance about 3 min) there's a supermarket (Rewe) which is open from 7:00 to 24:00. That was practical for me because I could just get what a few things I needed for the next day. I really enjoyed may stay here and would book again and again and again.

Rooms are clean and airy and bathrooms were clean. We only stayed one night as were travelling through in a motorcycle trip but we had a good nights sleep on comfy mattress in a clean room. Couldn’t ask for more really

We much appreciated the beautiful old furniture in the rooms. Each room with its own features and style. Yet with modern bathrooms. A sense of history prevails in a positive and thoughtful way throughout the hotel and restaurant. The meals were good and plentiful. Location quiet.

Absolutely great location. rooms, large - spacious - clean.. the front reception lady was awesome - spoke many languages, very helpful and polite. so professional. they also had laundry self-service available - great for a family travelling for weeks to do laundry. very popular with local residents and I see why - awesome.

We had a really good time here. The room was spacious, the food in the onsite restaurant was very good. Very good facilities for families with kids and its close to Ravensburger Spieland. Only two areas that we were not happy with: breakfast: not a wide range of choices and every piece is given to you like you are in school, the price of the breakfast is not value for money. The other reason why we do not give an excellent rating is the wifi. We had to complain twice. You have a bit of signal in one side of the room but not in the other. But overall its a very good hotel for families with young children.

Everything about the hotel was amazing, the staff, the room, the food, all great. The hotel grouods are very clean and its a very interesting concept (Erlebnishof is an adventure farm hotel typical of Germany). Family friendly atmosphere with lots of activities for families and a great place for solo travellers.

We got more than we expected from this place. We stayed in the studio with our bernese mountain dog. They prepared the room with bowls for the dog and even a little mat. It was a nice touch. The studio has a balcony with a table. You can enjoy your breakfast in the morning sun, which is very pleasant. Our dog likes to enjoy the outside, so we put him in a long leash so he could come in and out of the room. The room is spacious, the bed comfy and the wifi works great. The room decoration uses natural materials and the soaps and shampoos are all natural. The kitchen has cutlery, knifes, pans, plates, mugs, glasses. The oven and the stove worked perfectly. Having a dish washer was very practical. They even provided the dish washer tablets for free. We used the washing machine in the basement. It was easy but you need coins. They also provide the washing powder for free. The sauna was the highlight. We enjoyed it multiple times. It has a great view. You can get extra towels for the sauna in the laundry area. You can self check-in in this hotel. Next to the check-in area, there is a little room with last minute things that you can buy (chips, beer, pasta, pasta sauce). A real life saver. If you want to hike in the black forest or/and stay in a quiet and comfy room, this is the place.

Incredible view, and it was truly a highlight of the trip. The spacious room had large windows that overlooked stunning landscapes, making it the perfect spot to unwind. The amenities were excellent. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor terrace, which offered a panoramic vista that was perfect for sunrise and sunset. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to enjoy a beautiful setting.

Very comfortable, clean and spacious apartment with amazing views and close to many attractions

Well maintained modern property. Digital check-in process was not complicated. Modern apartment with clean rooms. Kitchen had basic cookware which we found to be more than enough for our stay. Couple of hiking trials start from the apartment. Enjoyed walking down to Waterfall and walking up to Kapelle. Sauna was great, too.

We are a family of 4 - we were relaxed entering the hotel and there was a feeling of calm, peace and tranquility, the hotel is located on a mountain and everything around is green and pastoral. We stayed in a kind of apartment with a kitchen, living room, balcony and 2 bedrooms. The apartment is clean, very spacious and comfortable, there was plenty of space for all the luggage (4 large suitcases, 3 trolleys and backpacks). The apartment is equipped with everything you need, including a full refrigerator and every morning we received fresh and warm rolls for breakfast. Beyond that, the manager of the place, Reinhard, was very nice and took care of everything we needed during our stay (towels and replenishing things in the refrigerator). We also received a red card from the hotel for the Black Forest that gave us lots of discounts and free entrances to all kinds of attractions during our stay. In conclusion, We were very satisfied, enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the place.

Great location, spacious and clean apartment with a very quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly, which we much appreciated. We made use of the laundry room, which was free of charge. Each morning, fresh bread roles were delivered to our room , and along with complementary milk, cheese, cold meats, and granola, it made for a nice, easy breakfast. We had a lovely time, and we highly recommend it!

Everything! Spacious rooms, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, balcony, friendly staff (excellent English if your German is lacking). Good restaurants a short distance away. We've been before and we'll come back again! We stayed for five nights.

The rooms are spacious, very well equipped and modern. We had everything we needed and the staff was very helpful and nice. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the beautiful view of the forrest. Lot of nice places to eat, stores and tourist attractions are easy to reach by car (we didn't use public transportation).

The manger and his dog couldn’t make you feel more welcome. He honestly makes the place perfect for every guest. Went above and beyond for me and my family we turned our two night stay into a four night stay. Modern archiecture at its finest, beautiful views of the Forrest. Perfect for families.

We stayed 3 days at the hotel in room 5 on the second floor. The room had a small balcony tucked up against the side of the property with zero view, but was fine for a drink. The main room faced the courtyard, so while there was no real view it was light. The courtyard was mostly quiet when we were there and the only detraction of the location (other than the lack of view) was cigarette smoke wafting up from below. The room was very large and suited our family of 4 well. It would have been quite luxurious for two. As with other guests, we all found the breakfast lacking, particularly for the quality of the hotel. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is across the street from the river and a short walk to the old bridge to the heart of the old town. Close enough, but not too close. We visited the local "castle," the old town and on the recommendation of the concierge one of the neighborhoods close by and the ruins of castles in Neckarsteinach, a 15km bike ride away along the river. We also ate at one of the restaurants recommended to us, a real local neighborhood beer garden. We can't say enough about how well we were treated by the staff, but in particular by the hostess/concierge, Melanie. If she is there when you visit, you will be well taken care of.

I chose this hotel because it is very close proximity to the hub of everything you really want to see in Heidelberg and has been rated very well. From the minute we pulled into the small courtyard we were treated very well and greeted with smiles and courteous demeanor. This is a very nice place to stay and well worth the cost. We have stayed in hotels across Europe and this is in the top 3 over the last 3 years and countless trips. Pros - Very clean, very friendly staff, GREAT location to see the sights. Good food for the free breakfast buffet. Deserves a high rating. Comfortable bed and nice linens. Bathroom is relatively large for such a small room. There is even a tub that fits two people nicely. There is a kitchenette that has a nice Nespresso coffee machine and the non-alcoholic drinks are complimentary. It was over 100 degrees out and the room had a portable A/C unit that worked flawlessly. We were very thankful for that. Valet parking is on par with the average price you will pay across Europe. They are very careful with your car and luggage. Cons - There are very few. We couldn't figure out how to use the shower that has a very large rain shower head. Probably user error but we turned all the knobs. I don't know. Sometimes the traffic during the day can be heard from the street to include night life goers walking by.

Excellent hotel in a stunning position high above the rhine. Room was expensive but a good size, nice en-suite and with a stunning view. Everything was very good and we enjoyed our short stay there. There were two problems: 1 On trying to book the restaurant on arrival in the early afternoon we were told it was fully booked unless we were after 9pm. This was a shock given we were residents and given the remoteness of the hotel. 2 On asking to have tea on the terrace to enjoy the lovely sunny day and the views we were told it was not possible as the terrace was closed due to some rain in the morning. This was very poor as the sun had been shining for hours. Point 1 was eventually resolved and we were given a dinner reservation at a convenient time. And the food was very nice. Point 2 was not resolved and my view is that if a resident wants tea on the terrace then that is what they get irrespective of whether it may have been rainy earlier in the day. Management need to review such policies.

We had business in Dusseldorf but took a one night trip to Heidelberg prior. Everyone at the hotel was extremely accommodating and helpful with suggestions on things to do and made a dinner reservation for us. The hotel is within walking distance of everything in town and even on a really chilly evening, the walking was fine. Best to leave your vehicle parked at the hotel since parking is at a premium. The room was nicely decorated with a lovely view of the river and castle. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. The robes were quite cozy! Note: There is an additional charge for cleaning if you use the kitchen in the room. We very much enjoyed the complimentary breakfast which included made to order eggs. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel

This hotel is one of the first you see on arrival in Uhldingen. As such, it is an easy 30 minute walk to the promenade. The hotel has free parking, is clean, looks as though it has been renovated recently and is perfect for a short stay. The room is a little small, especially the bathroom, but is perfectly adequate and has cupboard space. Tea and coffee facilities: but bring your own teabags. There is a good selection of hotels in the town, but they are horrendously expensive, especially those on the lake front. This is a good compromise. In addition the hotel has an excellent (Turkish - try the Kunefe for dessert!) restaurant. The fish restaurants are in the street leading onto the front by the church. The fish dishes look excellent value, but we didn´t see how big the servings are. The town is excellent for families. The three museums, very nicely laid out playground, and access to a natural beach make it ideal.

This hotel exceed my expectations.the check-in process was so easy. The staffs are friendly and kind. Breakfast was great. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was delicious. Location is close to tourist attractions . i would recommend this property and certainly will stay there again.

The room was excellent, newly remodeled and beautiful. The staff were nice and breakfast was good to. We had dinner at the restaurant, lamb kebab, it was very tasty.

Breakfast was good, the server was very attentive and some of the food was made on the premises ( jams and yoghurt). It was delicious!The inn has a resturant that serves turkish food for dinner and it was excellent.
