We were just "traveling through" and needed a stop overnight between New Orleans and Memphis. The hotel was clean enough, and we were tired enough that we just went right to sleep. The bed was comfortable, and the temp was easy to set to a comfortable level. Cleanliness was good, and breakfast was the usual "full breakfast fare" with eggs, sausage, biscuits, etcetera, and decent coffee. Their outdoor pool looked good and clean and inviting, but we were just too tired to use it. They even offered us a room near the pool, which we took, but alas, too tired. Much refreshed the next morning, we moved on. I would recommend this hotel, not a five-star hotel, but clean and quiet and comfortable, at a decent price that we could afford.

Recent upgrades give a 3-star rating appearance. Very clean and "new". Massage shower head in spacious shower was relaxing. Very comfortable stay with suitable breakfast bar that is included. Also, Cracker Barrel was right next door.

Great location! Easy to find. Comfortable beds and pillows. Clean room. Refrigerator in the room was quiet! AHHH! There was a Bible in the room. YAY! That is a huge plus!!! Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Tiffany and Sierra have very welcoming smiles and they were very personable. The price was right! Our microwave didn't work very well. The road noise was a bit challenging. There is a daily breakfast. We only went one day. We had sausage and a veggie/egg white omelet and a banana. It was certainly sufficient but if you're tired, I wouldn't lose sleep over getting there on time. There is a Cracker Barrel restaurant right next door. ;-)

This hotel is above average for Sleep Inn. Beds were comfortable, room was clean, wifi worked well, bathroom adequate space with sink outside of commode/shower. It is convenient to I-12 and merging into I-10 with restaurants, stores nearby. Due to Covid, did not serve regular breakfast, but provided us with a sack to-go with muffin and biscuit. Was great for one-night stay, especially with fridge and microwave. Person at front desk was polite.

Breakfast was good and fresh, but on our last day the Coffee Machine broke. :( There was no back-up, so we went to our room to make coffee . Overall the hotel was clean, friendly stuff and super comfortable.

Stayed Wednesday night with husband and 2 young children. Wonderful experience. Service: EXCELLENT. I checked in online prior to arrival and accidentally changed my room type. Spoke with a very nice person, Anna (or Hannah), who quickly corrected the issue. I requested to move to an even bigger room (2-bedroom suite) and she made sure it happened. This was most appreciated. Everyone we encountered, from desk staff to housekeeping, was friendly and pleasant. Arrival: easy to park, parking lot was clean. We immediately received a friendly greeting when we walked in, received hard copy of keys in about 2 minutes. Lobby, Restaurant and bar areas were very clean and hopping with guests enjoying themselves. Room: digital key worked fine. Room was huge, very clean (with our young children, we thoroughly check and sanitize everything,) and VERY comfortable. It’s not a new place so although it looks a bit dated, it felt just as comfortable as a new hotel. There were small toiletries provided but we always bring our own. Also included were 3 tvs, mini fridge, and microwave. So convenient! We faced I-10 but didn’t hear any freeway noise. Everyone slept like logs. Restaurant: my husband ate at the breakfast buffet the next morning and said it was pretty good. Location: excellent. Lots of stuff in the area. Quick drive to restaurants, Downtown, lsu. Would def book the 2-bedroom suite here again the next time we’re in BR.

Stopped over for one night stay during vacation travel. Spacious room was nice to have. Breakfast was excellent and fresh. Attentive staff made the breakfast even better. Hot fresh coffee in the morning was great. Check in/out went smooth.

The checkin was quick and easy. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. I enjoyed eating at the bar last night. The bartender had great energy and a great personality. I will stay again. I enjoyed myself. My room was clean, spacious and comfortable.

This is a nice older hotel. It is nicely decorated and felt warm and inviting upon check in. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The room was large. It could stand some updates and the bed was a tad uncomfortable for me. The air conditioner did its job and so we slept good. Had a little trouble with the shower but nothing major. The tub was large and the water pressure in the shower was great. The room could use what I call a deep cleaning and carpets could stand an upgrade. Otherwise, the room was clean and had sufficient amenities.

I stayed here during the weekend of an event downtown when most of the downtown hotels were booked. The location was still very convenient to downtown, both by the interstate and on ground-level streets. Very nice, modern, small suite set-up. Very stylish decor and well appointed. Nice bar and restaurant area off the lobby.

The room was very spacious, it had a large couch for sitting. It had a little bar area with a coffee pot and small sink and mini fridge. The room was very clean and the staff was amazing. Breakfast was served daily M-Thurs 6:30-9 and Fri-Sun 7-10. It had your favorite breakfast foods from eggs and sausage to cereal and waffles. Hot coffee, milk, water and juices we're available as well.

I loved everything about the hotel. Staff was very welcoming upon arrival and professional. They made sure our stay was exceptional. Breakfast was also great. Close to shopping and eating places. Rooms look just like the pictures. Que the reception is wonderful. Her personality and professionalism is amazing. I did another reservation to stay another night, and she had me taken care of before I got downstairs. She had my keys already done. She's amazing.

Excellence hotel. Spacious room with huge television screen. Clean and comfortable bed. Outstanding breakfast. I’ve had a lot hotel breakfasts and without a doubt this was the best ever. A very wide menu of choices including oatmeal with many toppings and eggs and sausage. Plus all the regular choices like cereal and baked goods also available. I personally complimented the chef. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. Appreciated the facilities and the many amenities.

The room was spacious and clean. Comfortable bed, the room has a coffee maker but not microwave. Breakfast had a great variety of food options. Front desk people were very helpful. Free access to the gym and parking.

Very comfortable beds, the kitchen was a perfect fit for our belongings, and the bathroom was very clean and spacious. The complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash smelled amazing. It was a great stay. We will reserve another stay soon!

The breakfast was exceptional with small omelets, self made waffles, a variety of muffins, grits , juice and coffee etc. Ms Mary Lee was so attentive to our needs as well as friendly to my family. She made sure we had everything we needed. Ms Mary kept the food replenished.I forgot my skillet and called the front desk to see if there was one in another room and a brand new one was brought up to us by maintenence. Our trip here was awesome

Spacious with a separate bedroom and large bathroom. The bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to get up! Breakfast was plentiful with various options. I was looking forward to a waffle or pancake but not such luck. The breakfast taco and pulled pork breakfast meat were good

The desk clerk at in take and check out were friendly and helpful. My sister and i had dinner at the hotel restaurant. Our waiter was fast, efficient and friendly. Your complimentary breakfast was very good. Many choices and the staff was awsome. The lady in Charge of of the breakfast staff made our experience a pleasure. Her name is Barbra and on my next trip in July, i will make sure to stay at the Baton Rouge Embassy Suits.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. Very convenient where it is located. Parking is great!The people are nice. The breakfast is good just get down there before 9AM! They do not offer complimentary coffee so you are out of luck if you just want coffee. Both of the elevators were not safe feeling.

I was waiting to write this review, as I was extremely pleased to have stayed here for the dollars paid, what a deal! Upon arrival, the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was incredibly spacious, quiet, and comfortable. The breakfast the next morning had more options than I've seen in a while at similar properties. And the check-out was seamless. Overall an extremely positive experience I would have no hesitation recommending to others.

Staff was kind and courteous. Place was very clean and quiet. Great location. Breakfast was amazing with the variety of things you had to choose from. Bed was super comfortable, normally the bed is way too soft or lumpy. This one was perfect for my needs. All in all great place to stay and will be back when I’m on this side again.

Staff was very friendly and helpful!! Hotel was clean! No problems! My advice would be to put a bigger garbage can in the hallways or add more!! The cans were full everynignt and not enough room. We like to keep our room clean and take all food garbage out each day. Also makes it easier for clean up! Overall, i give it 5 star rating and would stay here again

I would highly recommend this Hotel to others. Very clean hotel. The room was perfect. The King Size bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was amazing. Very friendly and very professional. The Hotel is conveniently located close to many great restaurants. It is also very close to the I-10 which makes it very convenient to get to and depart. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

A quiet and comfortable 1-night stay. Overall thoughts: - friendly and helpful staff - clean room (though there was something on the floor near the bin — food? — when I arrived) - smaller than the sort of rooms I’m used to with Hilton — especially the bathroom, as others have noted — but it still had everything I needed (except shower gel — so make sure to bring your own if that’s important to you) … and it was one of the best showers I’ve had in a long, long time: water pressure and temperature were perfect! - large fridge, which I always welcome - loved the cute little nook area for “work” and the well polished wooden closets - also loved the little welcome note on the water upon arrival :) - this is one of the first hotels I’ve ever seen from Hilton that offers smoking rooms: when I checked in, I double-checked I wasn’t going to be subject to one of them and found out that only the top floor (out of eight floors) is designated for smokers, so I felt a little bit better about that - I could definitely hear the constant hum of traffic along the highway from my room all night long, but I didn’t mind it so much and it kind of lulled me to sleep - only really two restaurants within walking distance, but I didn’t try either of them I’ll be back!

I loved the cleanliness & hospitality of this hotel. The staff was great & helpful. I would have given it 5 stars except there were a couple things that could have been better. 1) The breakfast tasted good BUT was not well kept up. The first day they apparently ran out of eggs. There were none when we got down there at 8:00. The second day they were out of meat by 8:00. That’s not good since breakfast should be available from 6:00-10:00. 2) The bathroom/countertop is really small & they had the coffee pot on the bathroom counter. I didn’t have room for my toiletries bags & clothes so it was a little inconvenient. I guess the next time I stay here I’ll temporarily move the coffee pot to another table in the room. It’s just going to take some additional inconvenient effort. The location is really good though for restaurants within walking distance & nearby shopping places within 1 mile. I would definitely stay here again. :-)

I stayed here while working in Baton Rouge for a couple of days. The front desk staff was very friendly and made me feel welcomed. The room was very clean and comfortable. Everything was fresh and clean. House keeping does an excellent job. I will definitely be staying here again!!!!

We are Hilton Honors travelers, and very often stay in a Hampton Inn. Due to Covid, some amenities have changed, I suppose, but not having any snacks or microwave food available for a weary traveler is disappointing. Also, we arrived o/a 4 PM and the ‘always available’ coffee/hot water had been there for some time. The hot Breakfast consisted of the usual reconstituted eggs, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy, all of which was lukewarm and not tasty at all. We decided to try the waffles….definitely a much better choice. OJ and coffee was great. We only had one pillow each in our room. We requested two additional pillows and they were brought to our room immediately. Water is hot and bathroom clean. We slept well. All in all, a good stay for us.

The staff at Hotel Indigo was amazing...we were greeted by a doorman and the front desk each time we came in! They were helpful and ready to answer questions about the area. The rooms were spacious, clean, contemporary, and well-appointed. I had everything I needed for my work and rest. The location is perfect for a downtown Baton Rouge stay...just a quick walk to the river, shops and restaurants all around, plus the historic architecture!!

Excellent hospitality from the staff. Amazing room given with a view that also had great excitement of artwork. Chef Phillip brought the new menu changes with the French Creole style which was amazing and well executed by Chef Terence. Fabulous selections of beverages, including cocktails made by Autumn. The front desk management is very warm - Tracey, Renee, Danielle and Jason. Everyone thrive to make up for little hiccups and made the stay outstanding. I checked into this hotel for three days of rest and relaxation. Staff was accommodating and charming. The room was quiet; a little smaller than anticipated, but cute, cozy and clean. My only complaint is that my view of the river (Riverview room reserved) was partly obstructed by the hotel next-door. However, I left feeling my purpose was achieved.

The room was very comfortable, and the location was quiet and close to the convention center, within walking distance. Very close to the historic original state capitol. Front desk staff were nice. The coffee pot is a new brand which I was unfamiliar with and had to watch a YouTube to figure out how to put the coffee pod in but all good otherwise....grateful there was a coffee maker in the room. Only negative was that my room did not have a desk to work at in the room.

Very cool location - near river, historic buildings, coffee shops! Streets are clean and safe (police station is very nearby). Art inside rooms and hotel is a link to the local culture - nice!

I stayed in room 220, which was a king bedroom with a kitchenette( microwave, sink, fridge, dishwasher). The room/bathroom were spacious and clean. I travel quite a bit and so I always appreciate when I step into a room and don’t have to worry about cleanliness ( I.e. bugs, spills, or dirty towel or sheets). I knew as soon as I opened my room door that I was well taken care of. Breakfast was well stocked and had yogurt, waffles, breakfast sandwiches, cereal, coffee, juices, and few more items. I didn’t visit the gym but from what I could see it looked well put together. Thanks for the great stay!

This was my first time traveling with a pet. My room was clean and fresh. The halls and common areas are clean and fresh. I don't know if the room I stayed in had ever had a pet in it, because there was no evidence left behind! Because this is a pet-friendly hotel, the staff was out cleaning throughout the day. There's plenty of green space for pets to go potty and they provide waste bags. I will definitely stay again!

Location was in a great place. Handicapped room was good and accessible. Bathroom had a shower chair that fit in the tub shower. I had to have some help to lower the shower head, but once I got it lowered, I could shower with no problems. They offered me to move to a room with a shower, but I told them that I could work with the tub shower.

This is a clean, nice, well-staffed hotel with a nice bar / coffee bar. The parking is also convenient, and the room was comfortably furnished. The only drawbacks were that the room was poorly lit with only three small lamps; the wifi signal was weak; and the TV didn't have an adequate internet signal and so the screen would freeze.

Throughly enjoyed my stay. This was my second time staying at the facility traveling as a solo female. The front desk attendants were very nice and friendly(sorry I didn’t remember names). The property was to my liking as someone who battles with a little bit of OCD. Area is convenient to stores and restaurants and I felt safe. Whenever I return to visit my son who is college in BR this hotel is now deemed my choice of stay.

There are many great dining options within walking distance of the hotel. There's a shopping center across the street, a Wal-Mart and Sam's Club as well. The hotel also has a small restaurant and bar and Starbucks on site. Great location off I-10, convenient location.

The property was very clean. The rooms were spacious and well done. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The staff, especially Precious, was very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable.

Very clean, comfy, nice atmosphere, breakfast was nice….perfect for a quick one night stay, priced well for what we needed.

We stayed for a softball tournament and had a little problem with key working but the staff was AMAZING. She knew I was exhausted I’m sure and went above and beyond helping us and we got to switch to a new room with ease. I wish I got her name but hands down will be staying there again next trip there because of the staff! My kids don’t like to sleep anywhere but their own beds but they both said that was the best nights sleep because of how comfortable beds were and I definitely agree. It was a great location and easy to get too. The breakfast was great the next morning also! Very impressed with this stay tru Hilton

I have been staying at this location for a couple of months now. The desk attendant is always friendly and helpful. My rooms are always clean, and i haven't had an unpleasant stay. I plan to continue using this hotel.

We stayed here during the LSU-Alabama football game (Geaux Tigers!) when just about every room in Baton Rouge was sold out and available ones like here was at a premium. We had a queen room, which had all the basics. It was clean, the front desk was friendly and efficient and we had free breakfast with waffles!

I was concerned when we arrived as the property is kind of in a sketchy area. However, once we checked in, the room was quiet and pleasant. It is a bit rundown and needs some maintenance, but it was clean and we saw no bugs. We did have to change rooms even before we unloaded all of our stuff: The toilet was leaking. The man at the front desk was very pleasant and gave us a room next door to our original with no argument. We would stay there again.

Clean, great A/C. Convenient location to someone passing through. Only complaint would be a TV with only one channel.

This is a very large hotel. The girl that just told me it was recently purchased and they were fixing it up. I rented a room for three nights basically because the price was right. I was putting the very back of the hotel where it looks like they have people that stay there long time and was very noisy. Their maintenance man lives upstairs and other employees live around. The room that I was in was not happy with the condition. Did not feel safe as transients were sleeping outside of my room in the brass area

My client like the property. Only needed someplace clean to rest their head while in town.

Nicely appointed property and very conveniently located for downtown activities (could easily walk to the River Center within minutes). Staff were all friendly and helpful. The room we had was a little cramped, though it had nice touches like gourmet coffee and a desk plus lounge chair that made it comfortable nonetheless. The bed was pretty soft though, which might be a plus for some, but for our middle aged backs was the main downfall of our stay. The only other issue we had was that the bar was closed and the restaurant was open only limitedly for breakfast. I was hoping to enjoy the onsite dining and bar as advertised. Though we did find some enjoyable food options within walking distance. Oh and I can’t forget to mention that it was convenient that they were pet friendly!

Second stay in Baton Rouge this month and this hotel was far superior to the other one I stayed out. Convenient location walkable to restaurants and offices, the decor is fresh and rooms are comfortable. Employees are friendly and helpful, and the downstairs restaurant and lobby areas are clean and bright. Great stay!

I’m surprised this hotel doesn't have more 5-star reviews because it's definitely underrated. The hotel has spent a lot of time getting the little details right. We liked our room. The staff was friendly, and we loved the LSU theme throughout the hotel. Street parking was easy to find, and the valet was very friendly as well. We loved our stay here and would gladly stay again. Check-in was easy, and we decided to stay in a suite (which was totally worth it). Since we were there right before Christmas, we had a Christmas tree and Grinch-themed decorations. It was hilarious, and it was clear that someone had put a lot of thought into the decorations, and they were a hit. The AC worked very well, which is definitely a must for us in Louisiana. One of my pet peeves is elevators that take forever, but that wasn't an issue here even though we were on the top floor (which also has the fitness center). The Wi-Fi worked throughout the hotel, so I could use Zoom, Netflix, etc., without issues. Valet parking was convenient, but street parking is really easy in this area as well. The front desk and other employees were all really friendly and helpful. The reason we chose this hotel was the location, and it was perfect for us. Lots of things are easily walkable, including a good Cajun restaurant named Cecelia. If I find myself back in Baton Rouge, this will be where I'm staying.

Room was nice, disappointing the bar and restaurant were not open due to understaffing (other than a breakfast to purchase). Water tasted weird, edge of bed was a bit broke down, espresso in room, no coffee except to buy downstairs. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking is very limited. Good walking distance to nice restaurant and downtown.

The hotel is conveniently located to a grocery store and plenty of restaurants within a 5 minute drive. It is also about 15 min from LSU. There is ample free parking as well. The hotel is nice and there is. Large lobby and restaurant/bar. The check-in staff is friendly and helpful. Our room on the 18th floor was large and comfortable. Beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows. There is a small refrigerator. No microwave. There is plenty of closet and drawer space. The only issue is the rooms aren’t very insulated from traffic noise or hallway noise. Also, the shower pulses from good to low water pressure. And there is air in the pipes and you get that loud screeching noise a lot. Also, take a shower very early or late as there is no ample hot water during the morning. Despite the hotel being nearly full the elevators were efficient. Despite the noisy pipes and hot water issues, I’d stay here again if back in the area.

I’ve stayed here often. It’s clean, renovated and convenient to the I-10. The staff is welcoming, professional and hardworking. My rooms have always been spotless and the staff in the restaurant and concierge lounge are great and friendly. Any issues I have had have been quickly addressed and corrected. The cons are you can hear constant highway noise and I have experienced what I was told is pipe noise on upper floors, in the far end of the hallways opposite the elevators. The front desk moved me to a lower floor to avoid this. Another criticism is the new $9/night parking fee: you pay through your phone and can’t put the charge on your room. I didn’t see any security or gates so I don’t know what I am paying for? It seems like a money grab especially since the half empty shopping center parking lot next door is never even half full. It incidentally has a new, updated Hooters billboard which brags about being politically incorrect. It’s 2025 and ok to let our sexism and exploitation shine!

Wow! What an Amazing Stay!! Came to the area for our daughter to attend the LSU Gymnastics Camp. We stayed 7 nights and honestly have no complaints at all!! Yes they charge for parking but if you check pricing all around the area most hotels do but its wayyyyy more expensive so I'm definitely not complaining!!! From check in to check out everything was smooth! We were on the 17th floor and had floor to ceiling windows! We faced the city and loved the view!! Beds we're super comfy and sheets we're fresh and clean! We slept great each night!! Each day while we we're out the maid service cleaned our room and did an awesome job! The water pressure was great and we never had a problem with hot water! We did visit the pool area I think 4 of our days here and it was always clean and they kept plenty of pool towels for our use. We never had a problem with parking. The parking area is actually very big at this hotel. We did speak with some of the staff and each time everyone was Super nice especially giving us suggestions on places to eat. We went to most of the one's that they wrote down for us. We did not eat at the restaurant at this hotel during our stay unfortunately so I can't comment on it. So all in all I most definitely give this hotel praise in all areas during our stay!!! If we come back to Baton Rouge this will for sure be our go to hotel!!!

Lovely hotel that is pristine. Large and spacious rooms that are spotless. Attended an event and the catering staff was extremely friendly. The presentation of the food was beautiful and the food itself was delicious. I had breakfast in the restaurant and it was delicious with large portions. Would stay again in a minute!

Location is convenient to interstate. Staff is always super friendly and housekeeping does a wonderful job. Room is always cleaned and refreshed each day. There is a parking fee- which is a bit strange, since there is not a garage or secure lot. Restaurant/bar staff is super friendly and prompt- food is decent- would love to see healthy options, or a more versatile menu. M Club/Lounge is amazing and the staff in the lounge is top notch! The hotel is a super short drive to other restaurants and shopping. The hotel is known to host large groups/meetings- be prepared for the noise and slight disturbances on your floor if there is a group ! Overall, great stay for business travelers

It is cool to see these indepently owned, 1940 era motels updated and revived to todays standards. I stayed in a nice king suite that featured a 46 inch large flat screen tv, cook top, stainless kitchen sink and a full size fridge. Could have used a club chair or small soft arm chair for relaxing. The quiet ac/heating unit and surprisingly cool recessed ceiling dimmer lights made for a pretty nice ambiance. Mattresses, sheets and pillows are comfortable and the whole room had a fresh clean scent. No carpet here, just upgraded grey porcelain tile. Beautiful shower head, plenty of towels, soap and shampoo. New full size tub. A great value in Baton Rouge that as an independent brand, this Budget Inn I find is now heads and tails above many national brands. Better than Motel 6, Red Roof Inn, Americas Best and others. The owner is always on-site and will show you to your room. He is available to make your stay safe and comfortable with whatever you may need extra; just ask. As a small,vintage motel, I was able to conveniently park right in front of my door and large new wndows with small poarch. Other guest were business and work crew company men there for a good deal and a quiet nights rest. Two tbumbs up.

The owner JP met us outside the office, personally, when we arrived!! He was so accommodating, especially to my health and physical problems, that he allowed me to stay in the room he showed us , to make sure the room was ok, while my husband checked us in. The room was very very nice!! Very comfortable and relaxing!! Had walk in shower, king bed, and 50in.flat screen tv!!! He had told us since highway was right there it might be a little noisy, but with the air conditioner on, It wasn't bothersome at all!! Was actually some of the best sleep and rest I had had the whole trip(and we traveled 6 states)!!! I wish this had been closer to home cause I would stay here every trip I made!! Will definitely stay here every trip we get to make it back!!!! Brand new rooms, freshly remodeled, very clean, and well kept and quiet !!! Even brought us a bag of ice. My stay was comfortable and amazing. I booked based on the reviews and it did not disappoint. Brand new, cleanest room I've ever stayed in. Mattress was new but the pillows were amazing. Slept like a rock! My room was large, had a full kitchen with stove, large refrigerator, sink and a kitchen table with chair. Bathroom was beautiful. What I really liked was that you could park right in front of your room door. That is extremely convenient for me when on my business trips. Grateful I found this little place. The owner is friendly but firm on what he expects from his tenants. They are doing great things at the Budget Inn. Felt totally safe while I was there. Outside is probably a work in progress situation. Don't judge a book by it's cover. Wonderful little place I will be staying at when I'm in the area on business trips.

We stayed here for 4 nights starting Saturday night - about 12 -15 folks stayed at this hotel and we also rented a conference room. Hotel is very comfortable. - Check in was a breeze. The parking is by valet - self parking is also available but the garage is a block or two away.- Valet parking is $22 and self parking is 10. The person at the valet was very friendly and helpful They have a cafe and bar in the hotel lobby with breakfast and dinner options. - there is also a real starbucks that is attached to the hotel which was very convenient.. The rooms were very spacious. the wifi was quite fast, the AC was cold enough and the bathrooms are quite big. Some of the cons - they do not offer regular housekeeping - so when you stay for 4 days it becomes a little tough, no coffee replacement, no cups, no towels refreshed, etc.

We selected the Courtyard Baton Rouge Downtown due to the points required for a free night and the relative newness of the hotel. The hotel is fine and the area seems safe. The lobby was disorganized with lots of boxes of stuff laying around, but otherwise the hotel was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and pretty standard for a newer Courtyard property. The onsite bar/restaurant was very meager and I wouldn't rely on it for anything. The dropoff/valet area was very tight and hard to maneuver in. The parking is located down a gravel alley across the street from the hotel. Downtown Baton Rouge appears to be very sleepy - we were there on a Monday night and most restaurants were closed. If the price is right, I'd stay here again, but I'd also probably try other options in the area if I were visiting again.

My family and I choose this Marriott Courtyard Hotel in downtown Baton Rouge for our 5 day stay while attending our daughter's college graduation from LSU, in addition to other school activities related to her final days. We were extremely pleased with our stay at the hotel. The friendly front desk staff and other hotel staff members were extremely welcoming and attentive with the exception of a female working the front desk on the Saturday night of May 21 who was not friendly and/or attentive to our simple attempt to make a purchase from the hotels snack store. (She displayed a Very Poor Attitude, and may need more customer service training) But overall the hotel and our room was extremely clean. Oh the attached Starbucks was a welcoming plus. Geaux Tigers

Recently stayed at the Courtyard Marriott Baton Rouge Downtown for a 3-day business trip. Overall, the experience was very good. On the positive side, the rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable, including the temperature. Valet parking service was very prompt and efficient. The hotel has a bar with a limited food menu and a nice seating area. The location is within walking distance to numerous restaurants and local attractions. A few minor issues: while most of the hotel staff were friendly, there were a couple of staff who were indifferent or seemed to have a chip on their shoulder for reasons I didn't understand. The water temperature in the bathroom sink ran for some reason from hot to very hot - no cold water. I was initially assigned a room right next to the elevators, despite my request to be far away from the elevators. When I asked to change rooms, I was accommodated quickly, only to be assigned a new room on the street corner, which can be noisy at night due to the proximity to traffic and crowds of people standing outside nearby restaurants. Overall, I was pleased with my stay, however, and I would stay at this property again if I ever return to the area. Ebony from the housekeeping staff was very kind and did an excellent job cleaning my room - she seemed to make an extra effort to make everything just perfect.

Friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms. It was close to the capital museum and Many restaurants. A bonus having Starbucks attached to the hotel. The room was extremely quiet and beds and pillows very comfortable.

I checked in and stayed 1 night on business. Checked in around 6:30 PM - Valet is very effective. Told them i needed the car for dinner so they made sure they had it streetside. Check in was quick. Historic gorgeous building with excellent interiors, paintings, artifacts, etc. My room was on the 11th floor and had an amazing view of the MS river and the bridge. Absolutely gorgeous. Big enough room - great shower pressure, quick internet, lots of water bottles available at front desk and a couple in the room. Minibar available via delivery - didnt use it but prices looked reasonable. Slept great, comfy bed. Small functional gym, just 2 blocks from the river trail which i went running on. Great hotel would stay here again

The property was extremely clean, quiet and comfortable. The king size room was so nice. The bed was very comfortable, unlike some of the reviews I previously read. The walk in shower was spacious and very well kept and clean. The front desk receptionist was friendly from beginning to end even the valet employees. My boyfriend and I both agreed that this would be our top choice every time.

Absolutely loved The Gregory restaurant - for breakfast in particular, but enjoyed dinner and the bar as well. Fantastic wait staff, very polite and attentive! Big fan of the Belgian waffles on the breakfast menu; great coffee, too. Excellent duo provided live music on the Friday night of our stay. Concierge staff were very helpful, and we were given a wonderful tour of the vault area below the 1st floor.

I really liked this hotel. Checkin was not early. It says check in at 4 and they mean it. Room was modern, clean and comfortable. View was great. We were in room 1009. The shower door made a horrible sound when closing and I fixed it. Didn’t try calling for service. I ate at the hotel twice and it was great. Parking is not easy or convenient. Garage is 30 a day. No in and out. There is valet - I don’t like valet. Someone else must have given my room number to valet - they tried to charge me for two nights! Black BMW - I don’t have a BMW. They removed the charge without complaint. I was here for USBC Nationals. It was an easy straight walk to the river center.

Very cool looking hotel all the way around! Converted bank with nice touches and throwback pieces. Design elements were well thought out. Had a corner room with a king size bed, plenty of room with lots of windows and natural light. Big shower and bathroom area. Everything very clean. Even included a nice desk area to use for work purposes as this was a business trip. Only negative about room was small-ish TV size. Hotel bar is great and lively but not too crowded. Plenty of lobby space to converse with guests. Valet the only real option and a bit expensive but on par with most downtown hotels. Location is solid with quite a few restaurants, bars, and a coffee shop nearby. Overall very pleased.

The bed was so comfortable the entire room overall was clean and comfortable. The breakfast could have had grits didn’t care for the eggs, but it was enjoyable. Typical hotel breakfast but the stay was very pleasant. The staff was very friendly. A few kids making loud noises, but it was tolerable.

When we arrived the front desk receptionist was having computer issues so couldn't check in. We just decided to go out to dinner and when we got back to the hotel we were able to check in. The room was really clean but a bit too warm upon our arrival. It took about 2-1/2 hours to cool down to satisfy our comfort. It had been extremely hot outside so we were hoping the room had been colder. The bed was extremely comfortable with fluffy pillows and a soft mattress. The only thing missing, and that I wish it had, was a mini fridge. It's been many years since I've stayed in a room that didn't have one. I always use the fridge when I stay in a hotel.Overall the room was really nicely decorated and up-to-date. They had satellite TV so there were many channels to choose from. The room rates were really good. The continental breakfast was really nice. They had scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, yogurt, an assortment of breads and muffins, and dry cereals. There were grits and oatmeal, and waffles all to make for yourself with a choice of juices and coffee. The dining area was very nice and clean and there was also an attendant on duty. It was our first time staying at this property and we will most definitely be back as we go every few months for doctors appointments at Ochsner, which is only about two blocks away.

We stayed here Saturday night while in town for the LSU vs. Texas A&M game and were very pleased with our stay. The room was extremely clean and quiet, and we loved the tall ceilings that made it feel even more spacious. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it’s very nice, comfortable, and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area!

This hotel is exceptional clean... The staff is very friendly. I had an issue with the internet when I first arrived and the manager on staff at the time came to my room to resolve the issue. Breakfast bar was what to be expected but it was always fully stocked and clean.

Pro - spacious, great tv on swivel, desk area, couch very comfortable, bed was wonderful, continental breakfast was good, baggage carts available, staff at front desk were helpful. Cons - no place to put stuff in the shower, no shower cap, q-tips, cotton ball pkg, shades and curtains do not keep all the light out, carpet felt nasty - needs to be replaced, only 1 sink, not alot of counter space in bathroom.

Clean room, plenty of towels in room when we arrived. Breakfast was wonderful and plenty of fresh coffee ready. The bed was very comfortable.

I immediately went downstairs and spoke to wonderful young man named London. I asked to switch to a different room that had 2 beds.Instead of one queen bed.. I was willing to share a bed if I had a view. He courteously and swiftly got me into a different room. Ironically it had a better view.. The young man London was very helpful and letting us know which restaurants were good in the area. He told us about a mardi gras parade that evening. He really was the best part about the hotel. Parking was in a hotel garage across the street. The breakfast was okay the staff was a nice.. The coffee was watered down.The orange juice was watered down.. But I don't feel that was the staffs fault.. If i'm in Baton Rouge again I probably wouldn't stay there again. There was honestly nothing to do in walking distance.. thank God for the amazing Mardis Gras parade.. it was family friendly and incredible to see. I didn't even know there was going to be one. Me and my daughter were visiting from out of state and wanted to experience Louisiana.. If it was not For the parade we would have been very disappointed with Baton Rouge..

We were traveling as a family from Texas to Florida and pulled in to Baton Rouge for the night. The first room we got was nice but it says it slept 5 (5th person on a couch, not a pull out) and it was NOT a couch. So I went back downstairs and they made it right by moving us to a king suite. That had a pull out couch that 2 of our kids slept on and the suite was big enough to pull in a cot. First surprise- the cot is a full size and thickness twin bed on a specialized dolly frame. Our oldest son slept so well on that! Then breakfast- it was amazing. Well appointed. Freshly made. Lots of options! And the hostess was so kind and helpful! Honestly when I was looking for a hotel on hotels.com I looked at the reviews. Most were great but what I noticed was that the staff responded to all of them! They care what you think of their facility! The only complaint I read was parking is $22 on the property but I was fine with that. They do have a garage around the corner that's about $10 cheaper but we had a car topper on so we couldn't do a garage. But our stuff was secure and there on property. Overall- I would definitely stay here again. Room was beautiful and clean, as mentioned staff was very helpful and receptive and breakfast was great. I would go back to Baton Rouge again just to stay here!

We enjoyed our stay and the reception staff was the best. We chose to pay the $20 charge for the hotel parking instead of the $12 parking deck across the street. If you park in the Hampton parking area and do not pay the $20, you will receive a city parking citation during the night. Be certain to request a river view so you can watch the river traffic and listen to the two trains that pass by during the night. Delicious breakfast including omelettes, biscuits and gravy, fruit, and pastries, and welcoming attendants. You will have a 500 yard walk to the Louisiana capitol. Be certain to go there and see the burial site of Huey P. Long, his assassination site, and the free 27th floor observation deck.

The location is great. It’s within walking distance of great food. It was clean and the complimentary breakfast was amazing!! The staff were all so friendly and welcoming from the front desk to the ladies in the breakfast area.

Breakfast was delicious. I've never had cheese omelets at a breakfast buffet before! Everything was easy to find and plentiful. All employees were friendly and helpful

This was an amazing stay for a wedding in the Conference Center. From my first call to the staff to reserve a room to when we left, I give this place 5 stars. The room was nice and clean and comfortable and the hotel conveniently located for what we needed it for - by LSU Lake. Did I mention the Staff - the front desk, the manager, the folks that made and served breakfast - amazing folks! I travel a great deal for work and this was truly exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful time and experience.

We stayed here for a campus tour and the location was perfect. We could walk to anywhere on the campus. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful with answering questions. The breakfast buffet was an added bonus.

I stay at this hotel for business several days a month, usually two or three nights together. Hotel is in a great location, directly off I10 near the Mall of Louisiana. Many restaurants and retail stores nearby. The hotel is typical Marriott quality and has a luxurious feel. The lobby is large and very elegant, with a large lounge area. The hotel had a very clean, welcoming smell throughout out. Meeting rooms are excellent. Rooms are tastefully done and very quiet. (I always stayed on a higher floor). The bathroom was very clean and has a very large shower. The room had coffee service and a small refrigerator. The restaurant is small, but food is very good. Great buffet breakfast. (I wish I knew what they put in their breakfast grits. Best I've ever had!) All in all, a great hotel at a great location in Baton Rouge.

Stayed here as a one night stay as part of a road trip. In contrast to some reveled- I found the hotel spotless and the staff friendly and helpful. It was my intention to go out for dinner but a nasty storm came through so I had oysters in the bar/ restaurant ( and yes- there ARE full size tables on the side opposing the bar. Oysters were good- ordered a club sandwhich to take back to the room. They were SLAMMED due to a baseball team staying there and another event. Ymyhe bartender forgot to enter my orde, but she did her best to help ( could a “rush” sandwhich have come faster- yes, but she did her best to help. I could sit here and complain- but I don’t expect perfection- . This hotel was really really good. With all the great restaurants in Baton Rouge- I’d likely eat elsewhere- but that’s not a strike against this property.

I arrived in the hotel around 9 a.m., and the person from the front desk made a way to have me checked in earlier, which I did. We tried the pool, the bar and ate bfast on the restaurant... All facilities were clean, and the bed and pillows were comfy. The location was perfect from Bars, restaurants, churches

My colleagues and I were extremely impressed with the Renaissance, Baton Rouge at our recent conference. The staff was extremely FRIENDLY, the food was DELICIOUS, the room was CLEAN and LOVELY. The conference room was nice and convenient. The restaurant and bar was a great place to take a break. The live music at dinner was delightful.

There was an event on the night of our stay, so the lobby was crowded. Nevertheless, our check-in was speedy and efficient. The staff was friendly. Our room was spacious, clean, and quiet. Restaurant was open at 6 a.m., providing delicious breakfast. Would stay here again.

Coffee always fresh and hot. The dining room hosts a social hour mon thru wed where they have a different complimentary meal each day plus beer/wine. Ive never been disappointed! the staff is AMAZING they are so helpful and talk with you like family. Peter, Sam, Mrs Debra they were so awesome and accommodating really i enjoyed my stay!

We were in town for a science fair at LSU & my husband recommended this hotel. It’s clean. The staff is courteous & attentive. We were 2 hours early checking in & they allowed us to go ahead & check in since they had a clean room available. Our room was very clean. The breakfast buffet was great. We saw that during the week they serve dinner too. It’s included with your room. The parking lot was well lit. It’s next door to LSU. It’s very close to things to go do & see. It also had a full kitchenette complete with 2 burner stove, fridge & dishwasher.

Very clean, very quiet, staff is all smiles, joke with you and are all friendly. WONDERFUL breakfast! My big thing at all places i stay for work that is a make or break for me is "is the bed soft and comfortable"? And YES the bed was VERY comfortable. All amenities of home on a smaller but very spacious comfortable size suite. This will be my new place to stay for work when i come to the area.

Very comfortable beds, very clean, all kitchen amenities in place, easy check in, easy check out. Room AC worked great (was a concern of mine staying at other places that it never got cold enough) so that was a huge plus!! Only suggestion would be a trash can in kitchen area. There was a small trashcan by the desk that was like a 5 gallon trash can. I dint take advantage of the breakfast because I needed to leave for work at 6a and breakfast was at 630a but my husband went and said it was very nice. Wifi-was fast, which is another plus for me to work in evenings on computer. I work in the area multiple times a month and will definitely stay again. Staff was always smiling and helpful :) Thanks for a great experience!

This was an A+ experience from check in to check out. We loce the location. As an LSU Tiger, being this close to campus was very nostalgic. The facility is clean and well kept. The staff is friendly and the breakfast ladies are the absolute BEST! It was like your favorite aunts had prepared breakfast and wanted to make sure you had a great start to your day! The room was well done and we made use of the well stocked kitchen to dine in. The bed was comfortable and we slept well after having a good, HOT shower. We have FINALLY found another nice place to stay when we travel to Baton Rouge.

We stopped for one night. The hotel was very clean. Our room was large and comfortable. Very comfortable beds and excellent room darkening shades. We were right by the highway and although I could hear the road noise, it didn't keep me awake. The breakfast was a good selection of fruit; hot items - ready made egg sandwiches and omelettes, oatmeal, waffle maker, yogurt, cereal, juices and coffee. The staff was excellent. Very friendly and working hard to make sure breakfast items were restocked as quickly as possible after a large group had been there. Lupe and Grizel were cheerful and welcoming. Will definitely stay here again if ever in the area.

It is rare to report being pleasantly surprised these days, but we were! Room was clean, modern, spacious, and well appointed. Hotel and room smelled like a spa. Staff were very accommodating with a special request, also friendly and cheerful. We had an issue with our blinds not working, and the night guest clerk came and helped us fix it right away. The area felt safe and quiet. The breakfast buffet was very good (you must try the biscuits!) I do not hesitate to recommend.

The hotel was easy to find. I was traveling with my mom and two teenagers the room was very spacious and had everything we needed. Rooms were clean and smelled fresh. Beds were comfortable. The morning breakfast was hot and delicious and had great variety. The staff was very friendly. When traveling back to this area I will use this hotel again.

Clean, excellent staff in a well populated safe area with easy walk to movies theater, bookstore and several restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Manager Gus was Outstanding! All staff were friendly and helpful.

Upon arrival there was a very fresh clean smell as soon as you hit the the lobby which was rare and wonderful. Check in would’ve been a breeze had there not been a conflict with housekeeping about which rooms were clean or not. I was advised this was due to a new housekeeping manager. The clerk at the front desk was very nice and apologetic. The king room was as spacious and clean. There’s no ice trays in the fridge but of course you can get ice from ice machine.Bathroom was very roomy, shower can fit 2 people. They definitely need better pillows. There is highway noise being that they are right next to an interstate but it wasn’t bad for me. We stayed 3 days and day 2 our room hadn’t been cleaned so I assume due to Covid it’s still upon request but I thought things were some what back to normal and wasn’t advised upon check in that housekeeping had to be requested. So I asked for my room to I be cleaned at 11:30 by 3:30 no one had come to clean our room. Went to the front desk to address this situation and was advised housekeeping HAD LEFT FOR THE DAY!!

Beds and pillows were comfortable. Staff were very pleasant. Had the breakfast buffet included. The breakfast buffet could’ve been better by having some special of the day or a variation each day versus the same exact every day. It was great that they had a coffee set aside in the foyer area As I typically enjoy a cuppa coffee as I’m getting myself prepped for the day before breakfast.

Good price-value accommodations and helpful staff make the experience really good at the hotel! The room is simple but has a lot of space and comfortable beds. Breakfast buffet is good and the staff in the restaurant is really kind. I have to say, the girls from breakfast received us everyday with good humor and were super kind! The peak of this hotel is the gym! As a gym rat I must admit this was the most incredible hotel gym I ever saw!

Wonderful place with bar and restaurant. Clean accommodations and excellent staff. The pool area was beautiful. It was fun to meet with our friends and have a few evening drinks in the pool area. Our rooms were spacious, and beds were very comfortable!

I will always look for a Courtyard by Marriot after my stay in Baton Rouge. It was the best overnight at a motel I've ever had. The room felt very secure and quiet and was super clean. The bed was marvelously comfortable. But I think I was most impressed by the fact that there is an interior courtyard that only residents have access to so it was a great place to get some exercise after a long day's drive. If it had been warmer, I'd have gone swimming too. The people at the desk for warm and friendly and the lounge area was so spacious and welcoming - there was even a fire and Christmas trees. And to have a complimentary breakfast was a great addition. We had previously booked at another Courtyard Marriot in Baton Rouge but were leary once we found out there was absolutely no on-site parking. You had to walk two blocks from a parking lot, carrying your luggage and had to pay extra for parking. We are in our 70s and have some mobility issues and we called the first booking to find out if we could cancel without penalties even though our confirmation said we could not. The gentleman and the desk said no problem, no penalties and we received a full refund within two days. We promptly booked at the Acadian Center location and were warmly welcomed. So it's Courtyard by Marriot for us from now on when there's one in the city where we're stopping over.

Nice hotel. Great, friendly, and helpful staff. Everything is fairly well maintained. I stayed a Wednesday night and Thursday night and never heard a freight train. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom had plenty of room and was clean. Hallways are a bit narrow the room was a tight fit with a cart.

The location was great, quiet,safe, and close to everything. Bed were comfortable,room was clean, air worked great. The staff were all very friendly, Brittany Coons was very helpful in getting some items to us that we left, she walked us through how to pay for shipping and made sure to get the package shipped out, she is a positive for this business

Room is spacious, cool, quiet, and CLEAN. The bed is comfortable and the TV easy to operate. The check in was done in less tgan a minute. The staff was friendly and the dispensers on the bath provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash soap. The refrigerator was handy as there is no complimentary breakfast.

Check in was smooth an easy. Arrived around 11pm and the gentleman on duty greeted us and was very polite and informative. The room was clean, it was quiet,the beds were comfy. Next morning went to breakfast where the staff was very polite and helpful. I will definitely stay again and reccomend to others

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Baton Rouge College Drive, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, professional, and welcoming. Check-in was quick and easy, and the front desk team went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. The room was spotless, spacious, and modern, with a super comfortable bed and plenty of outlets for charging devices. I appreciated the thoughtful touches like the Keurig coffee maker, mini-fridge, and strong Wi-Fi. It made relaxing after a long day so easy. One of the highlights was the hotel’s on-site restaurant and bar—great food, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere. The location is also ideal: right off I-10, just a few minutes from LSU and downtown Baton Rouge, with tons of restaurants and shopping nearby. The fitness center was clean and well-equipped, and the pool area looked very inviting (though I didn’t get a chance to take a dip this time). I felt safe, comfortable, and well taken care of during my entire stay. Whether you’re in town for business, visiting LSU, or just passing through, I highly recommend this Holiday Inn. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Baton Rouge!

The hotel was very clean and smells so fresh. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel room was comfortable, quiet and relaxing. We did not hear street noise from the room and were able to sleep like we were at home. Big plus for us when traveling! Parking was easy and we felt safe in the area. This was one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed at. We will stay here again if in the area.

We are from Texas and our first time here. We called for a room and Sai answered the phone. He was very kind and accommodating. When we arrived Bryonna was at the desk. She was amazing. Bryonna was very friendly and professional and what a wonderful smile. The hotel is clean and the room was nice. Great location. The next morning I got to meet Sai. He was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and helpful. The housekeeper’s were very kind and friendly. I talked to Blanca (General Manager). Most of the time in our travels the general Manager is out of sight and not very personable. Not here. Ms. Blanca was the complete opposite. Ms Blanca was very pleasant and friendly. I can see why the staff is as good as they are. She sets the pace. Thank you. I highly surest to stay here. We will be back. Not just for business but for pleasure as well.

The rooms are AMAZING! Beds are comfy, no carpet in rooms & even have ceiling fans! The food at the restaurant was pretty good but limited (drink options didn’t match the menu). I will probably just order delivery for breakfast next time as it was a normal hotel breakfast but cost $. Also was booked for a private event Saturday night so we couldn’t use the restaurant/bar. Great experience overall!

We liked it, but it's something to keep in mind for someone who is smaller or has trouble climbing up. Plenty of eggs and sausage patties for breakfast. Coffee was good. Would have appreciated more low carb/low sugar options, though.

Nice clean comfortable rooms. Hotel seemed brand new. Beds so nice. Hotel just off interstate, with plenty of fast food close by. Convention center is walkable. Check in easy and staff nice. Lobby huge, with ample seating. Breakfast plentiful, with numerous choices. Breakfast included; make your own waffles, boiled eggs, meat, biscuits, gravy, breakfast potatoes, cereal, muffins, bagels, breads, oatmeal, juices, tea and coffee. Breakfast staff always cleaning, and replenished when needed. I’m a repeat diamond member who recommends.

We were in town for a baseball tournament. Our room was nice, clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast offering was more than I expected and delicious. The front desk was very accommodating by extending the checkout time for us. The area also had nearby convenient stores and fast food restaurants. The parking lot was well lit and we felt safe. We will stay here again in the future.

I liked the separate living area where my boyfriend and I were able to eat our food on the couch next to the bar area with the fridge, microwave and bar sink. The bed was comfortable and I like the recessed lighting above the bed. Nice touch. The only thing I would have preferred is that the sink and the bathroom were not separated. I enjoyed that the tv had Nextflix, HBO GO, Pandora, etc. One of the reasons why I booked this hotel is because of the free airport shuttle and complimentary breakfast. I would definitely stay here again as the rate was PERFECT and I didn’t have any complaints.

Stayed two nights for a business trip, staff was pleasant and helpful, hotel was clean. I had some difficulty with WiFi but one of the staff members was able to help get me connected. A few fast food restaurants and a few quickie marts within walking distance but no sidewalks unfortunately. Hotel shuttle was available for pick up and drop off from BTR even for a 6am flight. Breakfast was typical fare, I had eggs, toast, and coffee.

We've stayed at tons of hotels, but this is my first time actually taking the time to write a review. My family and I(hubby and kids) only stayed for one night, but it was very nice. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean! Oh and THE BREAKFAST IS AMAZING!!! 😁😁 They have tons to choose from for breakfast. 💕💕💕

We were in town for an event at Southern University so I booked this hotel. I am so glad that I did. The hotel is only minutes from the campus. Check in was flawless. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The room came with a microwave and fridge. Nice comfortable beds. Very friendly staff. The hotel was nice and quiet. Check out was quick and efficient. We loved everything about this hotel. If I'm ever in BR again, I'll definitely be staying here!!!!

Very very clean! Very friendly front desk clerks and staff. Breakfast area was very clean and consist of cereal, pastries, toast and waffles, coffee and juice. Will definitely recommend this hotel. IHOP right down from there was bad, out waiter was sweet but good was under cooked or burned. Drive in town to eat because all the restaurants around that area were very poor and roads were terrible!!

My stay was wonderful, the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and spacious. Housekeeping team was very nice and helpful. Front desk clerks were very nice and helpful as well. The only issue I had was the water pressure in the shower, but the water was hot. Outside of that my experience was great.

My one night stay at this property was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room, while quite basic with no frills, was clean and quiet and the bed was nice. The breakfast was not great but did the job.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel (Sept 17th checkout) and had a great experience! I would stay here again because the staff and food are that amazing!!! They have a well lit parking lot, security, and a complimentary breakfast which is made from scratch (eat the waffles! You'll thank me!) The hotel is clean, impressive lounge space and bar, and an indoor pool and fitness center. The staff really make this place special. They go above and beyond, making us feel like friends immediately! Thank you front desk, security, waiting staff, and housekeeping for a clean, safe, and welcoming stay! The only reason for 4 out of 5 stars is that the physical structure could use a little update. Our door wouldn't close to our room without a shove. The elevator and public bathroom faucet could use a little oiling to reduce friction. These things would not stop us from staying here again as the staff and food are amazing! The quality of the beds were high, we slept well! High quality beds and pillows, thank you! Also, the shower pressure was fantastic. Thank you again for a great stay!

I have just spent a week at the Holiday Inn on business and it was excellent. Here's why : * My room was modern and clean with a super comfy bed. *WIFI worked very well with no connecting or speed issues. *They have just finished major renovations and the place looks great. *All brand new equipment in the fitness room. *Enjoyed the free all day coffee (with flavored creamers) in the lobby. *Breakfast buffet was very good (with real OJ). *Staff was friendly, as they should be in the hotel business. *I thought the two glass elevators were pretty cool. *Definitely would recommend this hotel.

Anthony was very professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Dominique was very friendly. Doc in the restaurant was very courteous, checking on us often to make sure we were good, and fast. I will be returning to this hotel. It was extremely clean, great atmosphere, and quiet. Food in restaurant was good and did not take long to get food.

The lobby has been renovated and looks very nice. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The room was very clean and neat. The restaurant serves breakfast and dinner with a nice selection of salads, appetizers and meals. Definitely recommend for the Baton Rouge area.

This is my third fourth of July staying at this hotel with my family. The river views are amazing! The rooms are a bit small, but there is so much to do within walking distance - we never spent that much time in the room. The valet guys Amos and Hiram was amazing, responsive, and kept us smiling. Bobby Dillon and the rest of the front desk staff greeted us warmly. Do not miss on out breakfast, Mr. Doty runs a smooth operation, but them grits and the omelette are the best. You can pay for it up front when you make the reservation which is cheaper, but do get the buffet option. Mr. Ronnie will get you where you need to go in the hotel van, and will pick you up on time. Mr. Herbert is the lead bellman, and is helpful with offering suggestions on things to do. The security is top notch, in a city that is notorius for high crime - this hilton will help you to feel very safe.

Hotel Bar and Restaurant was great. Also, in a geat location and within walking to distance to bars, restaurants, concert venues, casinos. Very nice fun town and the hotel exceeded expectations. Clean, nice room, comfy bed, nice walk in shower.

What an experience! Room was extremely comfortable, staff friendly, but the best part was the BARS. The main lobby bar was attended by Sara and Pat. Drinks were delicious, craft, and their personality and recommendations of food and area sites were spot-on. I learned there was a speakeasy called the “Tunnel”’that requires a reservation and a code for the digital lock entrance. Sara helped my guests and I gain entry. Once the secret door was opened (took us a few moments to figure out the needed clues), we met Delvin. He is the master of all things cocktails in this brick laden underground bar. He kicked off our evening with some familiar classics like a smoked ole fashion. Appetizers are all worth trying. Great experience worth a return to Baton Rouge.

A great hotel with a great location and great view. Our room had a direct view of the Mississippi River as well as the elevated pool. The pool area has cabanas, chairs with umbrellas and corn hole. There were a few minor issues, such as the toilet paper holder being broken. This doesn't take away the best part of the hotel - the people. The folks at the front desk are helpful and polite. The valet/doormen are a breathe of fresh air - fun, polite, attentive, and entertaining.

First time staying at the property and was very pleased. Staff was very friendly and helpful when needed. The property and room were very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was amazing. Instant hot water and great water pressure. The room ammentiites were adequate. Plenty of food options on the property. I highly recommend 18 Steak and the Lotus restaurants. The food was prepared very well and the service was excellent. Visited the ESPN Sports bar for breakfast and lunch. I preferred the breakfast over the lunch. The omelette and breakfast platters were spot on and very good. I was not as impressed with the lunch options. In the casino all the dealers are very personable and great to interact with. It is a smaller casino but had a great selection of various games to play. I highly recommend giving this property a chance when in the area. All in all a 4.8 out of 5 stars.

Very clean and quiet, and the staff was friendly and helpful whenever we needed them. The beds were comfortable and the property is very well maintained. Like most of the other reviews, the only downside was there was no mini fridge or microwave, so we couldn't store our drinks or leftovers which was a bummer, as we always had a lot of food we could have eaten later that ended up wasted.

The hotel is very nice. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. The cleaning staff came by everyday and replenished the towels and coffee supplies. The casino is nice too. Very clean, even the smoking area. They have good restaurants too. The price is much better during the weekday. I would recommend this hotel with 5 Stars out of 5.

We liked the large clean rooms. Disappointed that we chose the hotel for the Chinese restaurant only to find my 13-year-old could not get into the restaurant. We tried another restaurant where the waitstaff was casually chatting the only other customer at the bar for about10 minutes all the while looking at us waiting for a table, so we ultimately left the property to go eat.

We stayed one night, while on a longer road-trip. The hotel is a little remote from anything else, but that isnt an issue because anything you might want is right there. The room was clean and comfortable, the casino has several restaurants and bars. Unlike other casinos we've visited, this one is generally non-smoking, with a couple of open-air areas for those who want to play and smoke. The pool on the 12th floor was lovely. Free parking. All on all, a very nice stay.

The bathroom is nice, there are jars of good shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. Good pressure and water temperature. A good breakfast: English muffin, turkey cutlets, delicious omelet with cheese, toast, waffles, yogurt, porridge in bags, good juices, coffee.

We stayed here on a family road trip. I liked the queen size beds, which are very comfortable. AC was nice and quiet and cooled the room nicely. Room was quiet even though we were right next to the I10 freeway. The room had everything we needed for our overnight stay on our road trip between Texas and Florida. Small fridge, microwave, and I liked the little coffee pot so I could have coffee before leaving my room. Since we stayed during Covid, masks were required (and I was glad) and breakfast options were very limited (we had breakfast at Another Broken Egg, highly recommended BTW). The location is convenient to I10 and many nearby restaurants to choose from. Since the beds were so comfy, we stayed here on our return home as well. We will be back next time we go to Florida!

The good: Overall clean. Breakfast eggs, potatoes, Turkey sausage, pour waffles in two flavors, grits, cold cereals, muffins & bagels, juices, coffee. Friendly and helpful staff. Laundry available, $1.50. Well lighted parking. Business area without riffraff. No marketing the lack of daily room cleaning as “green.” The bad: Needs a little cleaning attention in the details. They obviously use lots of disinfectant which you can smell everywhere, but the stair doors have gross handprints, crumbs in the elevators & dirty behind one of our toilets. Just some extra in the corners would go a long way. The ugly: The noises coming out of room 205 at 5 pm with a do not disturb sign on the door. I just started talking all through the hallway so my kids wouldn’t hear it. Management can’t control who stays or what they do, but sure is the first time I’ve ever actually dealt with this scenario.

I was on a trip from El Paso, TX to Dothan, AL. This was a 1400 miles by car. I tried to limit the distance each day to 500 miles max. Towne Place Suites was my stop for day 2. I arrived about 4 p.m. abd found the hotel quite easily using Android Auto. After checking in at the front desk and before going to my room, the young lady at the front desk gave me a welcoming chocolate bar with my name imprinted on the wrapper. That was the first for me since I have been staying in Marriott properties for the past 15 years. I had an upgraded room with more features than I needed. This is a new hotel about two years old. Everything is up to date. Spotlessly clean. Quiet. It provides free WiFi, breakfast, and parking. If you need laundry facilities, they have it. Outside pool, Sauna. Lounge chairs. Pleasant staff. I also stayed here on my return trip. A very pleasant stay.

Booked this hotel for a family trip and boy I’m glad I did! Was the most spacious and clean room I’ve ever stayed in. Front desk clerk was very friendly at check in and checkout. Lobby was very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchenette was handy! Free breakfast was very impressive and had a little bit of everything to choose from. Will definitely stay here in the future!

My stay was incredible! Ms. Shannon at the front desk was professional, knowledgeable and personable! All staff members were very helpful. This properity was very clean and smelled wonderful. There was always staff inside and out doing something in keeping the properity clean and welcoming. The room was spacious and offered more amenities than I expected. I will stay again and will recommend to others.

My husband came for work, so I tagged along. Large room, large 49" TV, fully stocked kitchen. Nice computer workstation with excellent office chair. Comfortable bed and pillows. Exercise room. Outdoor pool. There is also an area to grill and outdoor fire pit. (But it was full of construction workers weeknights.) But it was nice sitting there in day time. My favorite part.....the breakfast!!! Everyday something different with eggs and meat. Plus waffles, oatmeal w/raisins, nuts, brwn sugar, cereal, yougart, 2 juices, coffees, tea, grits, toast, bagels,, etc. Plus the staff is awesome!!! So friendly!! Angela was very helpful to me at breakfast and telling me places to eat out!! Front desk with awesome too!

We enjoyed our one night stay at this Marriott. It is located close to the freeway but far enough so that you cannot hear the noise. The room was clean and neat, toiletries and kitchenette - all stacked with everything you may need. Room was nice size and bed was comfortable. Special thanks to the staff: excellent customer service and very decent breakfast. Would definitely return back. Indeed, not many dining options nearby so you may want to think about either bringing something with you for dinner or plan to have it on your way to the hotel.

I loved everything! The staff was welcoming, check in was quick. I was accommodated without having to ask. The amenities were nice and clean. Breakfast was amazing! Joe was extremely helpful and he continuously made sure we were comfortable. I haven’t experienced customer service like this in a loooong time so it was refreshing! I almost booked another night but I had to leave town. Everything was clean, cozy, and convenient!

The hotel is a little dated but overall was a good experience. The front desk person was pleasant upon arrival. Our room was comfortable especially the mattresses. The sofa was a little worn but not too bad. Kitchen and bathroom were clean. The black out curtains were fabulous. We went to the indoor pool but the water was so cold we couldn’t get in. The breakfast left a little to be desired. The bananas didn’t look fresh and the selection of other items was sparse. However to coffee was fresh and hot. We will stay again if we are ever in Baton Rouge or at another location.

Our stay was perfect we barely wanted to leave our room. Beds were very comfortable. Rooms & restrooms were clean. Housekeeping lady was kind & offered to change our bed sheets & towels each day. Service at the front desk was fast & easy. Noise was a bit of an issue sometimes but I understand that traveling with kids is a task & that’s everywhere you go. Besides that, we would love to stay here again in the future if necessary. I’d definitely recommend booking for your quick trips.

Breakfast is served and available very early which was very convenient for me because I checked out before 9 o’clock. Everything in the breakfast area was clean and offered a variety of breakfast choices. Some protein offers would have been nice eggs,sausage or bacon choice would have been greatly appreciated. Overall I was greatly satisfied.

Really enjoyed our previous stay. It was very clean and quiet they made us feel welcomed and safe. They served breakfast that was very delicious and my kids loved it.

Very spacious lobby and dining area. Breakfast buffet was very extensive, with pretty much any normal breakfast item you could want. Better than average coffee service/selection available 24hrs. Room was very large but sparsely decorated. Nothing really walkable to nearby.

No complaints about this hotel. I had checked in online and picked a room, but ended up arriving early. There were no issues changing my room and getting right into it. The staff was friendly. The beds were comfortable. It was clean and I felt safe. The hotel is close to many stores and restaurants.

The suite was very spacious. The lobby was also spacious and comfortable. The continental breakfast had a diverse and high-quality selection. I particularly liked the variety of toppings available at the waffle bar.

It was very clean. The room smelled amazing. The staff was helpful and friendly, even though we arrived late. The breakfast was very good. We did not take any part in the amenities since it was only an overnight stay on a long road trip.

After reading the previous reviews I was a bit nervous. However, it met my expectations since it was cheap and was VERY clean! Don’t expect a Hilton for this price, but for me it was about just sleeping and being safe! Yes it is older, but you can already tell that from the pictures! The hot water was AMAZING!!

Its the perfect place to stay if you need a 34 or even a layover like i did last night. $51 is hard to beat, lots of truck parking right next door and all kindsa food within 3 minute walking distance. Room was nice n cool, clean n bed was pretty comfy. 5 stars all around id say!!

She made sure that she greeted everyone as they came in the lobby. On Sunday Ms. Leslie was a joy to encounter for breakfast, made me sad that it was my last day. The table of foods was a little low due it was closing soon. She offered to cook more but we were very happy to make the Strawberry Waffles( nice flavor added) most hotels d8have that flavor on the buffet for breakfast. Leslie kept us laughing and smiling. Although the hotel is going through the hotel is under construction it is still nice and staff are very helpful. Our room refrigerator went out the staff on premises was very helpful and replaced it right away. We plan to come again soon.

My child had an appointment at Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital so we decided to book a room due to the long drive I can say it was well worth the extra spent for our trip. Staff are friendly from the very start and welcoming, the room is definitely a great size lot bigger than I’ve ever stayed in I got a double queen, inside and outside are very well kept up and clean, the breakfast was wonderful was tired from the drive so didn’t check out the gym if had more time I would have. 10/10 stay, location close to hospital which was amazing for me, close to restaurants, and gas station right there for someone who hasn’t drove that area much less I hate traffic this place was easy to access in and out. When time comes for our next trip we will be booking here again.

We booked to stay at this Studio 6 for just one night as a stopover point between Houston, Tx and Orange Beach, Al and honestly, I have no complaints whatsoever. It was set back from the freeway and at the end of street of other hotels. It felt modern, possibly newly done up, and our room was exactly what was required. It was clean, comfortable, and had all amenities we wanted. We did use the kitchenette to make dinner that we picked up at a Walmart that was about 4 miles from the hotel. Everything was in working condition, and the staff at the hotel were friendly and willing to help with a query we had. Would have no hesitations in staying at this location again if I were in the area.

Staff are always very helpful and nice. Building is quiet and rooms are comfortable. Movie channels are available and free WiFi. Pet friendly room. Hot water forever. Close to a few restaurants and gas stations. Easy access to highway. Weekly rates are very reasonable.

Couldn’t give it 5* Room was great and nice and clean but it lost points over the coffee There was a coffee pot in the room but only one packet each of regular and decaf I ask front desk for another packet of regular & was told no we don’t have any more, she then said she would check and get someone to bring it. They didn’t Also neither of us could take a shower as the tub was so slippery it was dangerous and no grab bar at all!! We are both older and not completely steady on our feet

The bathroom mirror has a middle place that does not fog up! First time i saw it, it was shocking but after the shock, its the greatest thing i have ever seen!! So dont be alarmed when you see it.. its supposed to do that.. This is one of the best hotels on this side of the river. The staff was amazing. I was always greeted, whether i was leaving or coming in. The ladies behind the counter are just amazing. The housekeeping staff was very kind of giving privacy and when i needed new items I could just set them out the door and it was taken care of by the time i got back. The rooms come with a kitchenette and some pots/pans, dishes, silverware and a few things that are useful. If i need to stay for an extended amount of time, this is the place i will return to.

The is at a great location close to I-10. The room and common areas are very clean. There was a kitchenette in the room which is nice if you want to prepare your own meal. The staff is very friendly and I felt safe in my room. The room rates were among the cheapest in the area.

The staff was so sweet and nice, especially Ms Mary! She made sure everything was just right for us. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was good, egg sausage, cereal and waffles. For the price it was a good experience. Spacious parking. We were there for a tournament and most of our teammates picked more expensive hotels and only had horror stories to tell. My son and I were very lucky to have a good experience with Quality Suites.

The room - a junior suite - was a 5/10 cleanliness. The bathroom floor wasn’t clean, there was a can of wintergreen chew under the desk that hadn’t been picked up, and the carpet could use a cleaning. The bed was 10/10 super comfy & the amenities were upgraded. The water pressure was 5/10 - really low & hot water took forever. Overall a great stay & we’ll be back. Really convenient for a late night Baton Rouge arrival at the airport.

We have stayed at this property several times and our last two visits were top tier due to the excellence of the staff. From the front desk to the restaurant and housekeeping, everyone was friendly, welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed complimentary appetizers with wine and beer after checking in around 6pm. There is a hot buffet breakfast in the mornings. The room was large and comfortable. I always clean and sanitize when we arrive. Since our last stay here in early 2024, both elevators are operating and the renovations have been completed. Well done.

Most of the time a “continental” breakfast is yogurt and some toast, but this Holiday Inn really had a variety, and something different each morning.

We were coming in late after a long day, arrived here around 10:30 in the evening, the staff at the front desk was super friendly. Our room was very clean beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good, pancake machine was not working, but they had biscuits and gravy, and lots of other things to choose from. The breakfast staff was very friendly. The person that checked me into the property was very customer friendly. In fact, each individual that I came in contact with at the front desk, was very, very customer friendly. The room was very nice. I didn't expect to have a sofa, coffee table, and a desk. The room was spacious, and also included a microwave and fridge. The FREE breakfast was a hot breakfast that was very pleasing. The food preparer was very hospitable. The location of the hotel was easily accessible. The location provided easy access to Baton Rouge, without having to be in "the heart of" city.

Everything was nice. Good hot breakfast offered from 6-9am. Employees were polite and professional. Only issue I had was they were stingy with the washcloths and towels. When I arrived at.the hotel I had no washcloths in my room. The front desk claimed the door was locked to the laundry and couldn't get me any wash cloths. I told him I wanted to take a bath and had no way to bathe without washcloths, so he unlocked the door and got me 1 washcloth. I stayed for 4 nights. I had a do not disturb sign on the door so I was gone when they came to clean rooms. That night my boyfriend went down and asked for a washcloth because we had turned in all dirty washcloths that morning and needed clean ones. The guy told him the same thing and wouldn't give him any washcloths so we had to bathe with the face towels. I'm not a thief and not trying to steal washcloths. I work at the front desk of a hotel and I know they keep a master key for front desk to access the laundry room. That is bad customer service to not give someone a washcloth to bathe with. It's gross. Other than that nice clean hotel.

The towels were of a higher quality than most hotels. I had to travel during the COVID pandemic and breakfast here was better than anywhere else. Other hotels just give you a brown paper bag with a muffin and processed juice for breakfast. At this Residence Inn, there is a choice of chilled juices, milk, yogurt and cereals. Plus, the breakfast attendant offers a choice of hot items which she prepares and brings to you. This alone showed me how much they were concerned about their visitors. The rooms and common areas were clean. There are several restaurants immediately next to the hotel plus plenty of shopping and other dining options within walking distance. The only drawback is that some of the rooms face the interstate but the windows block out most of the noise. I'm a light sleeper and had no trouble. Traffic in the area is heavy but I've found this to be true almost anywhere in Baton Rouge. If I ever have to stay in Baton Rouge again, this is my choice.

The property was clean, quiet and peaceful. The room was clean. There was virtually no no noise or anything to really complain about. The staff was extremely kind, accommodating, friendly, courteous, and all around wonderful. Checking in and out was easy and quick. This was easily one of my best hotel stays ever.

The staff in all areas was very pleasant, the facility isn’t new, but it’s maintained well - breakfast was real good, nice variety, fresh … just overall good stuff! The room was very comfortable, temperature easily adjustable- bathrooms were comfortable too.

Beautiful hotel nice size rooms very clean and spacious. STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL, & WE EVEN HAVE BREAKFAST INCLUDED WHICH WAS GOOD AS WELL .

The staff were amazing and quick to accommodate my family and I. They greeted us with smiles and great attitudes in every encounter. They were very helpful and informative. The hotel was very clean. Breakfast was amazing and satisfying to my kids. My family and I definitely plan on staying there again when we come in town.

The motel was clean which is most important to me. I picked this motel because I needed to be at the Rural Life Museum on a Friday afternoon and then in downtown Baton Rouge on Saturday. It is located just off I 10 so convenient to both. The price is really reasonable with a staff that was pleasant and helpful . For anyone needing a stay longer than two nights the room had a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Breakfast was only continental but if more was required there was an IHOP a few blocks away.

Hotel is convenient to the interstate, but no issue with noise from traffic. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Shower had good water pressure. Word to the wise, please use the provided rubber shower mat, as the tub surface was slick as glass. One additional amenity, located right next to the Penthouse Gentlemen's Club (ha!). Good accommodations for the price.

Staff was friendly- rooms and motel itself were older, but it was decent. Great for the price point and everything smelt and felt clean. It was a business trip, so we did not partake in any breakfast items. Although, as we checked out early, I did notice breakfast items and hot coffee set out and ready for guests.

The rate is affordable; Chris & Andi were friendly & helpful (let me check out a room before deciding); he let me choose an available handicap room (I'm over 60); the room was clean (no smell); towels, sheets, & pillows were all clean; ac, phone, wi-fi, sink, tub, & toilet all worked; It was a clean, quiet, & comfortable stay - and no problems with the neighbors; I had waffles & coffee - also good.

2 big speed bumps at front lobby drive thru, are teeth jarring. Tile and perimeter tile can be slippery footing. Despite motel being between I-10 and a railroad, room was quiet. Pool was operational and guest were using it. Restaurant and bar have extremely limited menu. Both areas huge but not many guests using them during the 2 days I was staying. Bartender says Thursday Karaoke, Friday/Saturday DJ or live band, dance floor. Smoking allowed at bar. 2 pool tables, 2 dart board machines and other electronic games. Hot breakfast was good; biscuits and gravy (no meat), sausage links, boil bag eggs, grits, instant oatmeal, 2 cereals, waffle station coffee was good. No walking distance restaurant options. 2 mag keys, 1 for room ( be sure to check front desk checkout day as key may expire after breakfast by 8 AM not checkout time 11 AM) 2nd door key for ice machine and laundry room expires everyday and has to be reactivated. Info to save you walk back to front desk.

Finally a budget Wyndham hotel that knows how to run a hotel. We’ve done a bit of traveling the last few months and it is getting very hard to find an offering by any of the Wyndham budget hotel chains that has reviews that are marginally good without complaints of being dirty and smelly. The folks at this hotel have taken care of the exterior and the place looks recently painted. All of the exterior lighting works and is quite bright at night. Our room was spotless. Bathroom area was great. And the bed – deluxe. You sink into a fairly firm mattress and it is soooo nice. Our room was quiet, the A/C worked well, mini-fridge had a freezer to freeze our ice packs and a small desk let me set up my laptop. The staff was friendly. The morning light breakfast had many tasty offerings. I wish they owned more Wyndham hotels. They know how to run a hotel.

When we walked in the front door we were greeted right away and taken very good care of by Christine! She had an amazing very professional attitude, got us checked in quickly! Me and My Co-Worker were looking for a closer motel to our job. I called the red roof inn in port allen and spoke with a very professional lady (Christine) she reserved our room right then. We stayed for a month at the red roof inn and every day the staff was very polite and professional and extremely Courteous. They cleaned the room everyday around our work schedule supplied clean towels, vacuumed, normal stuff to a hotel room and always went above and beyond with our needs. they provide breakfast and if there is something you would prefer and they have it they will get it for you. I travel a lot with my job and I can say without a doubt I will stay there again and will recommend everyone I know to stay there plus I will advise my company to book all of our workers at the Red Roof Inn.

My girlfriend and I were making our way down to New Orleans and only intended on staying a single Thursday night but ended up staying for the whole weekend! The staff was very friendly and made our stay so enjoyable! They recommended many hot spots to visit and left us craving more to what this town had to offer while providing a welcoming sense of being at home. Our rooms were cleaned promptly in the afternoon while we explored the town and the front desk was extremely responsive to any of our needs making our stay as easy and comfortable as can be. I was very sceptical when I saw the neighborhood and the outside of the hotel,but once I checked in I was pleasantly surprised. Recently renovated rooms,very nice. The downside was the tissue which wasn't even 1ply and completely see through and even though the doors had a deadbolt, the extra lock at the top would have been a bonus. Bathroom was small but again big enough for me.It was quiet and peaceful.

You got what you pay for. They did some renovation in the rooms. So it was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The sheets were clean. However, there were couple of cigarette burns on the blanket. I liked that they had microwave and a fridge. The entrance door was in a really bad shape. The check in person was nice. So far was ok. If you just need a place to sleep it’s fine.

The room was very clean and had a comfortable bed. There were plenty of towels and other supplies. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, but more variety would be nice. Adding more protein like peanut butter would be great.

It was clean the bed was comfortable and not to mention the desk clerk omg he was so welcoming.

It's Close to baton rouge without actually being in baton rouge so travel in and out of the city is simple. Uber and delivery run here 24/7. There are plenty of food options along lobdell hwy and two truck stops that are in close walking distance to the hotel. It's safer than the cheaper hotels in baton rouge and just as cost friendly. It's family, pet and children friendly and there's police who drive through every so often at night which makes me feel safer. Housekeeping passes daily and all of the staff are friendly and well trained in their jobs. This is my go to property when we're traveling in the area. I do extended stays which drops the prices tremendously. If youre here for a night or two or even a year, I'd recommend trying this place out.

How quiet it was, the lights for the parking lot are bright leds, and the light outside doors to the room are the same, like daylight all night long, the staff are super friendly and run a tight ship, the fact I was able to have my dogs with me and walk them around the nice well kept courtyard.

BUT OVER ALL I MIGHT WOULD STAY AGAIN BUT I'VE STAYED IN A BUNCH OF WOOD SPRING SUITES AND THIS WAS THE WORST BY FAR BC OF THE NOISE AND DIRTINESS OF THE PUBLIC AREAS AND THE FIRE ALARM CONSTANTLY WOKE US UP 2-3-4-5 AM AND ALL DAY FIRE TRUCKS WERE HERE MORE THAN 3 TIMES IT WAS CRAZY!!! OH AND THEY GIVE U A KEY SO NO ONE CAN JUST WALK IN THE BUILDING WO A KEY AND YET YOU CAN JUST PULL THE DOORS ON THE SIDES OPEN NO KEY NEEDED AND YOU CAN'T OPEN IT WITH A KEY ANYWAY BC THEY ARE BROKEN!!!! Traveling I-10 from Texas. Getting tired and saw Red Roof off the road and pulled in. At first when you pull in is a boarded up building. Pulled around to the side and the inn was there. Not really sure we wanted to stay there. Went in and asked for a handicap room. Prince Patel was clerk and stated he had one. I asked if I could see it, and he was very receptive and we took off to the rear of motel. He let me in and I saw that it had everything that my wife could use. High commode and bars around the shower and the bed was great. We had to drive around the boarded building and wife had to walk about 100 feet to the door of the building entrance. It did not look safe back there due to construction taking place on side of building which we found out was a Shoney's that had been shut down. He assured us that it was secured back there. We had the whole wing to ourselves. He was super nice about the whole transaction. Mr. Patel met us in the morning. No bag or snacks but had coffee and OJ. On this trip, we stayed in 3 different hotels such as the Hampton Inn, Quality Inn and none were as clean or satisfying as this motel. I think its a shame that the boarded up front is ruining his business.

Location is perfect for my purpose. The front desk staff was very accommodating even though i was probably making the process difficult. That was because i wanted a certain side of the building for parking reasons. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Perfect size for the room i reserved. I am not aware if they had breakfast options.

Nice clean new rooms, newly renovated rooms with best price I would say because it's very clean rooms but that price is actually worth it because staff is very friendly as well plus with that kitchen I have in my room is cherry on top definitely recommended

Felt mostly clean, the corners could use a little love. Bed was comfy, sheets and towels were clean. Paint looked new and the furniture was in good shape. Also, I felt safe here. Oh, and there were no signs of bugs. Overall, a great place for what it is, don't expect the Four Seasons, it's a motel. I would absolutely stay here again.

Everything was perfect. We stayed during thanksgiving weekend. Though it was busy because of LSU game. Everything was good. Front desk people are the best always smiling and make you feel your presence whenever you are there. There was one Indian guy respect for him he been there all day long from Thursday to Sunday. Room was clean n spacious. Comfortable beds and quiet at night. It was good stay. See you all next year.

The reviews I read set my expectations at a low level. I wanted cheap but clean. I was very happy and found all the conveniences you can ask for. The room was very clean and smelled fresh. The ac worked great. The room was wonderfully quiet. The plumbing in the shower needed reworking but was functional none the less. Maybe the highest complement I can give is that I will return for another stay.

Breakfast is excellent the Young lady who handles breakfast is very friendly helpful and always makes sure breakfast is stocked and ready for service

Very clean and spacious room!! From the price to booking, to check-in to checkout..not one complaint. Not a bad location either, just off the interstate.. We were looking for some quiet time away from everyday, and we found it here.

My only complaint was that the Clerk said nothing about breakfast. We probably were going elsewhere anyway, but they should always mention those extras! Our room was clean. Check-in was quick and easy. I don't know where else you could find a room for $80 total, king bed, with a pool... tiny refrigerator and a microwave! No coffee, though.

I wasn't sure about this hotel, but the room was near and clean, although older, it was well maintained. I made my reservation thinking it was the newer one across the street, but the staff at both places were great and friendly. Would definitely stay again!

Speaking of stores, great area for shopping for anything you need within 3-7 ml radius, along with a variety of restaurants. Is like a town center yet spaced out. Hotel was clean definitely couldve been better at the same time 3 to choose from, not too bad considering my situation. Maintenance stayed on top of issues. Lady at office was very pleasing, house keepin was nice except waking me up telling me their job title lol theowner/manager he sucked moving right along.... have to pay extra for a fridge and microwave. If you are looking for a really cheap place thats around. A lot of store every type of store you need its there chic filla and olive garden was next door😁 also they have a lot of people that stay there on a regular basis/home. If wouldnt have broke down and was walking everywhere > wouldve definitely went to a cheaper hotel too high for the area even the crowd didnt match the area and range of stores. Negative note during this time right now we had to pay 10 more dollarss due to the hurricane coming worst we cant book through hotels.com for 2 weeks. 59 during weekdays 64 weekends hurricane this weekiend 78. Hope this was helpful. As for me looking a different place soon as hirricane passes. Everyone be safe and stay blessed.

Motel 6 continues to exceed my expectations. Room super clean with a complete remodel. Beds comfortable. Reasonably priced. Extremely helpful staff. Only issue was the charge for wifi. Bigger issue was wifi did not connect in my room & I was only 6 doors down from office. Ended up having to go to office and use my phone from there.

The lady that checked us in was friendly. The room was clean and simple. The price was reasonable. No coffee pot in the room. But I travel with mine anyway. The bed was comfortable. Got a good night sleep.

KIKI checked us in and she was great! The room appeared clean when we entered. The floor was sticky, but, it seemed like it had maybe been mopped with something that wasn't rinsed. The toilet paper holder fell out of the wall everytime you used it, but, I was still okay until the second night. We had just turned the lights out and gone to bed. I got back up to go to the bathroom and a bug was crawling on the floor. I live in the south so know a bug here and there isn't a big deal. I killed it, but, when I went back to bed there was another kind of bug crawling inside my coffee cup which was sitting on the bedstand. Okay, so now I'm thinking the bugs are coming out once the lights go out; and, I'm creeped out! Overall, it was two nights, and except for the bugs it was was I expected it to be. Oh, one other thing. The first night was EXTREMELY noisy all night long, and, three police cars with lights on at the front of the property between Waffle House and the hotel. No idea what was going on, but, they were there for at least an hour...

The young lady desk clerk was very polite and accommodating by changing my room before I concluded the reservation to include a fridge and microwave. I was expecting a star rating of 2 motel rate entering the room. To my surprise it was clearly a 3.5 star motel. Very comfy, clean, and large screen tv worked with cable.

Has everything I need except a coffee maker but I travel for work a lot so I always have my own. Quiet, comfy, clean and exactly what I wanted. Would def stay here again. They checked me early w/o any issues and when I needed to extend my stay for 2 extra nights there was no issue and I kept my same room. All those things make this a great place in my opinion. Thanks Western Inn!!

The only thing I did not like was there was no ice machine and no coffee pot in the rooms ( we had brought our own) They do have coffee in the lobby. It was close to Tiger Stadium so it worked out great!!!!!!

I always stay at Hampton Inns if I can because they are always reliable. This was one of the best. Clean, well-run, friendly staff who can advise on local restaurants, good breakfast, quiet and comfortable.

My husband & I stayed there recently. Check in was easy. Our room was clean and up-to-date. The beds were comfortable as were the pillows. Everything worked well in the bathroom. The A/C was great - easy to use. The refrigerator was a nice size and worked well. Breakfast was fine - different meat options in the morning. The breakfast area was large and accommodated plenty of people. Breakfast was served at 6:30 but the food was out well before that (which was really nice for us). If we return to the area we would definitely stay here again - good value for the money.

Very easy to locate, and the room was updated and very clean. Tons of pillows and plenty of towels! Stayed for 1 night, and it was very quiet. Could not hear the interstate. The breakfast was good. My room was super clean! Everything worked and I was just really overall pleased with my stay.

In my opinion housekeeping should clean the rooms even when they are occupied. Management should check behind employees. I swept and mopped and found and trash under the fridge and under the microwave was dirty. That might help with the roaches. Some people are nasty. Other than that it was quiet and comfortable. I'd stay again if the roaches move away. I think other reviews over exaggerated on the roaches. But they do have some.

Well to me everything was on point the staff was very friendly to me and my guest. It was well lit at night, security was in site at night and that was wonderful. All and all i had a great time and next event we have in Baton Rouge i will book you again

We stayed in a handicap accessible room with walk-in shower. There was plenty of room for a wheelchair to move around and access the bathroom as well as the bed.
