I travel about twice a month for work and this is the CLEANEST hotel I've stayed in for a long time. The lobby was bright, the coffee/tea area was clean even during breakfast and my room and bathroom were spotless. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were better than in some places as well. The area was busy with a grocery store and Costco very close, but the room was quiet and I didn't hear much. I would stay again for sure and I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel is amazing!!! The staff alone made my stay enjoyable! They were very helpful, friendly, and professional! The rooms were nice and clean! Breakfast was good! I highly recommend this location! This location is definitely a true valued Hilton property with wonderful customer service!!!!

This was a first time stay at this property (we normally stay at a nearby sister property). This hotel is brand new so is super clean and nice. Check in was fast and easy with helpful front desk staff. Near the counter is a "suite shop" where you can buy snacks and find any other necessities. Then there are a couple small cubbies for informal meetings or something? The room was standard Hampton inn room. The only "negative" to the room is that like 99% of new hotels they went with sliding barn door style doors for the bathrooms. Not a huge fan but not a deal breaker either. Beds were comfy and we slept well with minimal noise intrusion (though we had a midweek stay so not sure how it is on weekends). The breakfast was good with plenty of choice though some of the seating left a little to be desired (I have T-Rex arms and some of the table/chair combos were a weird distance apart). Pool area was nice with a small outside patio that would be nice during the summer. The two issues we encountered during our stay were minor - there was a roof leak on our floor near the elevator during a heavy rain; our shower door was apparently not 100% level so during showers kept sliding open, though this was "fixed" by blocking it with a washcloth while in the shower.

I highly recommend this fantastic place! This very clean, modern hotel provided me with a wonderful, super friendly and accommodating staff that went out of their way to make me comfortable, a very large comfortable room with everything needed, huge selection of breakfast items, a well equipped gym and indoor pool, and even a small convenience store. I cannot say enough nice things about this hotel. Stay there!

The staff are very nice. The breakfast was exceptional. We are well-travelled and this breakfast was far above most. The facilities were good and location perfect for what we needed. Major shout-out for the sweet breakfast attendant. She was super smiley and friendly and handled the hungry customers really well, no matter how demanding they were.

Eggs, breakfast meat, hash browns, waffles, fruit, yogurt, cereal, boiled eggs, juice...a great breakfast. And I especially appreciated that they kept it fully stocked and dishes re-filled, right up until the end of the assigned breakfast hours, unlike alot of hotels, who end up with alot of missing items the last 1/2 hour or so. Also my son & daughter-in-law have 3 little kids and accidentally forgot my son's toiletry bag and their pack 'n play for the little one. The front desk helped them out with several free items, shaver, toothbrush and several more...and since I'd called ahead to ask, they also had a pack 'n play brought up for them before they arrived later that night. Thank you for a good stay!!

This was a short stay for me but overall I liked it. Bed was comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was just exceptional! The hotel was quite convenient to my purpose of visit and is close to downtown area. They could do better on cleanliness though. My bathroom didn’t look very clean, shower walls didn’t look like they had been thoroughly cleaned and there was a corner covered in mould, carpet could use some through vacuuming too, or maybe I’m just a clean freak! Overall, I’m definitely staying again.

During our 5-day stay at the Best Western Plus, the entire staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. They helped each other (and us) out and took care of whatever needed to be done. The breakfast offerings were amazing ... I cannot think of anything they did not have, plus my picky husband thought the coffee was delicious! The staff who cooked and served breakfast was awesome ... so helpful and cheerful. The front desk lady even took us to the bus station in their airport shuttle. The fitness center was perfect and always nice and cool.

For whatever reason I couldn't get my booking.com to go through, so we came here directly and the price was slightly lower. It's a pretty run-of-the-mill spot, but we came for the in-room jacuzzi for a treat for my husband and he probably spent 1 1/2 hours in it. It's big and relaxing, plenty of hot water, they supply the bubble bath, and best was that the jacuzzi tub is in the room, not tucked in a bathroom. The shower in the bathroom wasn't great, and I did have trouble understanding the lady at reception, but who cares...my husband had a great soak in a king room that only cost $140!

Very clean, friendliest staff, quiet, safe, walking distance to restaurants, bars, grocies, shopping. Walking distance to downtown bellingham and the ocean. Neat local shops. They serve a wonderful breakfast in the mornings or you can walk to nearby breakfast shops. They also have on site laundry and a small gym 🏋️‍♀️. Pool table room as well. I have stayed in this area frequently on many business trips and I have tried other hotels in the area. The staff here at bay city are very warm and welcoming as to the motel 6 and other motels in the area i found there staff to be rude and unwelcoming. This is precisely how I found bay city inn. They were extremely nice and pleasant when I went to check in and they continue to show such welcoming hospitality. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. It is my go to spot when I come to town.

Desk staff friendly. Building and grounds maintained. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Good shower, bathroom clean and tidy. Furniture a bit retro but acceptable. Good location for I5 access, restaurants, etc. Didn’t have the continental breakfast. Seems well managed. Wifi was good.

All staff members were friendly and helpful. We arrived earlier than check-in time but staff still took us in and showed us our room! Breakfast was basic but very much enough to start your day, it was a lot better than what I expected. You can even make your own waffle, which was fun and delicious. The room was clean, spacious and quiet. Also had a little facility room with a few gym equipment and a pools table - we didn't use it though. The location isn't difficult to get to, we bus there.

This is an amazing hotel with attention to details. Super friendly staff. Location was great for being on the water and walking. At least 6 restaurants/coffee places within two minute walking distance. Sushi restaurant nearby has a sushi train, and prices were on on the lower side. Coffee place a few doors down, had great coffee, but super expensive! Hotel has great coffee for free in the lobby, and great cookies in the afternoon. Restaurant at the hotel was amazing for New years Dinner, although the ambiance wasn't the greatest as we were put into the banquet room, but service and food was amazing! Would highly recommend!

We stayed here while on a road trip through the PNW with our dog. We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were so friendly and welcoming of our dog. They gave us a dog bed and some bowls and treats and when we went for a cocktail at the lounge they were so accommodating with us leaving our dog in our room. They just said they would keep an ear out and let us know if he was barking. Now to the lounge! We had such a great experience here as well. We enjoyed great wine and cocktails and wonderful food. We had breakfast there as well and had an AMAZING crab benedict. Best ever. We highly recommend and would stay here again in a heart beat. ❤️

This hotel was an absolute treat. It was beautiful, comfy, clean, and very relaxing. The bay view suite was perfect and provided us with a beautiful view of the water and we even got to see a giant Sea Lion right outside our room! This place also provided free EV charging for our car, which I was not expecting. I definitely would stay here again.

We stayed in 5 different hotels during our trip from Washington St. To Vancouver. This establishment was far and away the nicest. We actually made a last minute reservation here due to an illness altering our original trip plans. They were very accommodating. Nice sized suite (2507) complete with kitchen, two burner (Electric) stove, refrigerator and dishwasher. All utensils, silverware, plates, glasses, etc. Excellent. Bed was comfortable and has an ample size storage closet. Very nice. Breakfast was ample. Served in an nice sized dining area next to the lobby. Three hot selections and really anything else you need in the way of bagels, cereal, etc. Onsite mini store at the reception area. An added bonus was food service (Small menu but nice selection) which we took to our room several nights. Nice sized gym and an indoor pool and jacuzzi and here's a surprise, on-site laundry that's included, unlike the old days when you had to bring quarters. Just a dollar for a single use box of detergent from the hotel store. The hotel is in a quiet area of Bellingham, Food establishments and a grocery store (Fred Meyer) are really close by. Overall a great, comfortable stay. Thanks to the staff for all their courtesy.

We had a great stay here! It was easy to find, easy to park our EV with free charger. Room was clean and very comfortable. Surprised that the kitchen was so well equipped with hot plate, dishwasher and full size fridge freezer. Pool and hot tub were nice, and we ate at the lobby bar for convenience which was nice. Breakfast was great with special quiches, croissant sandwiches and a variety of breakfast cakes to name a few.

The staff was friendly, professional and helpful. Rooms and grounds were spotless. I was head of housekeeping for a large guest ranch so I do notice the little things and my only suggestion would be that the mattress in the sofa bed be replaced/updated. The rooms were very quiet as well. We did not hear noises from the other guests or freeway unless the window was open.

Front desk and breakfast staff are wonderful as they consistently have been helpful, courteous, and hospitable. ..Laurie makes the best oatmeal and always takes the time to check in to see that all your breakfast needs have been met!! She is super efficient and keeps breakfast area clean and well stocked. Loved the pumpkin bread too!:)

Continental breakfast was very good with toast, cereal, muffins, yogurt, apples, and egg / sausage microwavable muffins on offer. Staff ensured adequate quantities of foodstuff were kept fully stocked during breakfast hours. Tea, coffee, and juices were also available. Great location for shopping, easy access to the I-5 if you want to travel farther afield to enjoy many scenic daytrips in fairly close proximity. Will definitely stay there again!

I had a fantastic stay at the hotel, thanks to Anthony’s excellent hospitality. He went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, which was a pleasant surprise given the affordable price point. Anthony was always friendly and quick to assist with any requests, making my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for great service and value for money. This was truly a memorable experience, and I’ll definitely be back!

The room with the beds was overall pretty good. Beds were comfy and clean. It looked like someone had a party or something in the room and left streaks on the ceiling and maybe ripped the shower curtain rod from the wall. The repairs were made to the shower curtain rod, but not well. The toilet and tub room was very dated and not in great condition. The toilet was peach and the seat was a different size than the toilet. The gentleman that checked us in was very friendly and pleasent to converse with. We didn't have breakfast so we can't comment on it.

We had a glitch checking in, but it was resolved the next morning. The room was clean and comfortable. It needs a facelift, but nothing was broken. Breakfast was the usual; eggs, potatoes, various breads, waffles, bananas, and coffee. Friendly staff. Seasonal pool, so we didn't use it. Close to restaurants, shopping, etc. Wifi was fair, but had to keep signing in, up to 3 times a day.

Not a luxury hotel but a very decent room at a decent price. Located within walking distance to many restaurants or convenience store across the street. Breakfast was nothing special, coffee, toast, cereal or waffles. No yogurt (BOO) but it was available by 5:30am (YAY) Room was clean and comfortable with a large jetted tub.

After seeing some negative reviews for this hotel we were very pleasantly surprised all around! The staff at the front desk were very nice and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was so good we slept each of the 3 nights we stayed for 9+ hours each night. Others had mentioned homeless people in the area, but the Homeless problem is North America wide not just in this area. Breakfast was more than ample, eggs, bacon, potatoes, juice, coffee and a bag with water bottle and banana. I would recommend this hotel and will be back when we visit again.

I enjoyed my stay at the Fairhaven Inn. Comfortable and great location for walking around the area. The Inn itself did not have onsite services, for example a spa. However, there are some close by. I had a pedicure just around the corner from the Inn. They do have partnerships with some of the restaurants which is a nice perk. The restaurant attached, Galloway's Cocktail Bar, offers a free glass of wine to those who stay at the Fairhaven Inn. No breakfast, yet a nice little coffee/tea service in the morning downstairs in the reading room. Several Breakfast restaurants very close by. Free parking which was nice.

Great location, walkable to shops, restaurants, beach, boulevard park. Breakfast was just coffee, tea and muffins. Wine at happy hour was great to sit on the upstairs deck and enjoy the sun, or play games in the cozy lounge. The room was really large, so was the price tag but we stayed mid week so paid less. The Irish Nachos at Archer's pub were amazing! Breakfast at Keenan's with heat lamps on the patio is great. So many bookstores in Fairhaven but my favorite is walking to Wood's coffee shop on the water.

The Fairhaven Village Inn (FVI) garners top marks for exuding the very essence of elegance in a first-class hotel. Staying at the FVI is a delight from the gracious welcome at reception, to the daily text asking if the room should be serviced; from the delicious muffins served in the library to the glass of HH wine in the lovely art-Deco bar. Moreover, one can carry breakfast or wine to the lovely terrace that has both water and village green views. Furthermore, the FVI is located right in Fairhaven Village, yet remains a quiet haven within easy reach of shoreline trails, excellent restaurants, unique boutiques, and a fabulous bookstore. I cannot recommend the FVI too highly. I have already stayed here four times and plan to return again soon!

Had a one night stay in this lovely Inn . Our room overlooked part of downtown and onto the marina. Had a small little deck where you could sit and watch the sun go down….watch the sailboats. Big king sized , firm bed. Bathroom was large and spacious. Good water pressure in the shower. We had hot water and coffee available to us in the room and also a lovely coffee bar with yummy pastries in the morning. A good sized tv with plenty of channels. A small refrigerator. Very clean. The front staff folks were wonderful to deal with. I highly recommend the Inn!

Hadn't been to Fairhaven in more than 20 years . . . what an evolution to a charming, welcoming and vital district. The hotel is convenient to all amenities: food, beverages, shops, walking trails. Staff were friendly, the hotel was clean and quiet (we were not on the railroad track side) and the coffee/muffins were fantastic. The architectural team went a long way to capture the ambiance of 1890's Fairhaven.

This is a first-rate establishment: 1) immaculately clean--grounds, lobby, room/bathroom. Have stayed here a few times over past few years. Same owners/staff I’m sure. Friendly and helpful. It strikes me as being very well managed. The property is clean, maintained well including the trees and shrubs which are properly pruned. Room was clean, comfortable and being kept in good condition. Good continental breakfast, cereal, bagels, cream cheese, fruit, juice and good coffee. Sweet things too if that’s your bent. Nice breakfast area. Will stay here again.

As always, the Coachman is the absolute best bang for your buck in Bellingham. The owners take such pride in the property - always quiet, clean, safe, comfy beds and the staff are always extremely helpful. Decent options for a light breakfast (hard boiled eggs, bagels, cereals, yogurt, etc) and the pool is extremely clean and heated - perfect for a quiet, evening swim during our stay.

Everything was clean and in good repair. The room was a decent size and the bed was comfortable. The hot water was almost instantly warm. The selections for the continental breakfast were simple but well-chosen - the coffee was good and I could get a healthy breakfast if I wanted. The staff were friendly and helpful and courteous. Once I got an eye mask for the early light, with earplugs I was able to get some good sleep. I don't ask for a lot of hotels, just that it's clean and comfortable and I can get a good night's rest.

Booked this hotel based on the reviews for a golf trip that I took with a group of friends and was not dissapointed. Though the hotel is older it is very clean and comfortable, and the price is unbeatable. No olld smoke or mildew smells. Comfortable double bed. Right off of Highway 5 with easy access to some good quality restaurants. WE did not use the pool but the temp was perfect and the pool super clean. Breakfast was adequate, with coffee, juice, milk, yogurt, bagels, toast, fruit, cereals and hard boiled eggs. Would definitely recomend this hotel.

We like this hotel, its quiet and is walkable (right next to a store, very helpful). The pool and jacuzzi are nice and the staff are very helpful!

The room was a good size clean and organized. The pool on the other hand was freezing cold and the jets in the Jacuzzi did not work. The staff was nice and pleasant.

Reasonable rate for both room and breakfast. Convenient to airport and sights nearby. Comfortable bed and with an extra spacious room. Great options for breakfast and a helpful server who made a recommendation for a restaurant with a coupon via the desk clerk who was very helpful as well! The seafood restaurant was great right in the water and happened to be just near where we were going! Great stay!

We had a long trip planned so we stayed one night at La Quinta in Bellingham. Can’t fault the place at all. King room was spacious with plenty of room for a crib. Good-sized bathroom and very comfortable bed, all for a reasonable price. Online pre check-in was easy and made the arrival process even faster. Staff were very helpful and super friendly. Added bonus was the included hot breakfast that was available. Not a massive selection but it was hot and tasty with a couple of options; waffle station, sausages, eggs, etc. as well as various cereals. This made it really easy to get on the road the next day without having to stop for breakfast elsewhere. If we’re in Bellingham again, we will definitely look at staying here.

The staff at this location are OUTSTANDING! The whole team are fun friendly helpful and kind. Stephanie, Jonathan and Josh are just a few of the great ones. They were so helpful with everything. I attended a theater production in Bellingham and decided to stay overnight instead of making the hour drive home afterward. Hotel Leo was located just 2 blocks from the theater, offered great prices for a weekday stay, had PLENTY of great amenities for a one-night stay, and was dog-friendly. Upon arrival, the staff was very friendly, spoiled my dog, and gave me a good overview of the property. The room was huge for a "studio" size - plenty of space for 1-2 people. The coffee/tea station was a nice touch with quality products. Dinner at Amendment 21 was delicious and a great place to grab a pre-show meal. I was highly appreciative of the extensive mocktail menu - they were delicious, upscale, and fairly priced. The bartender, Orion, was very nice and gave lots of good recommendations for food and coffee around Bellingham. I will definitely return - its a great central location to explore Bellingham.

We booked last minute to escape a prolonged power outage east of Seattle and could not have been happier with our experiences at the Hotel Leo. Small suite with kitchen was very helpful; secure wifi; free parking! on site; restaurant/bar was perfect for an easy dinner and food surprisingly good; and the helpful, friendly staff - a combination you don't find frequently, especially at this price.

Hotel Leo was really exceptional. The room was amazing! It was huge for the price with a full kitchenette and the information sheet on the table was very helpful! The view was phenomenal with both windows looking out on the bay. There is a library with a pool table and the lobby has excellent sitting areas. It’s located close to some really excellent places to eat such as Accomplice, Cafe Adiago and Ramen and Bowl. Every staff person I encountered was friendly and helpful. Thanks to Hotel Leo and staff for a great stay! Will absolutely be recommending it as a place to stay for anyone going to Bellingham WA.

I loved the fact that you have a LIBRARY! I also enjoyed the historical significance of the hotel. My room included a kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator & freezer, which was a very welcome surprise! The bed was really comfortable! I was here to take a business- related course located in the old National Bank building, so the Hotel Leo's location was PERFECT!!! So convenient, and within walking distance of many dining & shopping options! The staff were TOP NOTCH! Not only was every interaction with them pleasant, but they were friendly, courteous, helpful, and personally greeted me upon my comings & goings! As a solo traveler, they helped me feel very welcome and (perhaps even more importantly) very SAFE here at Hotel Leo! I believe they really deserve extra recognition & special mention! Well done!

The apartment suite is amazing. It’s super spacious and we had a great view of the social deck, which is fine. I also like the proximity to the lobby from this room. Staff are friendly, and Security are present and alert. Parking was free and easy. There’s tons of restaurants and coffee, shops, and things to do within walking distance.

Very friendly staff, including Jayden and manager Mary. Easy walking distance to several parks,the waterfront, downtown and a couple of nice breweries and restaurants. There are cheaper options of chain hotels near the freeway, but that’s not my vibe. Good writing/computer desk with lighting and outlets. Room comes with Roku/YouTube TV. Property clean and well Maintained. And….theres a bike wash station!

The hotel is retro and stylish, VERY clean, with some fun touches, like a blackboard in the room where you can record discoveries during your stay. The bed is cozy and comfortable, and the grounds are beautiful. The surrounding neighborhood is charming and quiet, with many heritage homes to delight the eye. There is the lovely Elizabeth Park only a couple of blocks away. The staff are friendly and helpful.

We weren’t able to book a massage but just 30 minutes in the steam room and a shower was so relaxing. The food was good in the restaurant but there are some amazing restaurants just a 10 minute walk away. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing romantic getaway with your partner. It was my first birthday trip with my boyfriend idk how he’s going to top it next year. It was nothing short of amazing. Totally going to be floating on cloud 9 for the next couple of weeks.

My second time here and this time decided to extend the stay as one night is not enough. We arrived late and Walter was the night front desk employee. He was wonderful and offered us a few places that were still open to grab a bite. WE ended up going to a grocery store he suggested. When we arrived back, he made sure to bring us up plates and silverware. The next day we decided to stay in for breakfast and the food was amazing. I never say that about room service as I am in the industry and very picky and my partner is a Chef. It came up quickly and hot and tasted amazing. We decided to explore for the day them come back for an early dinner. Lydia was our server and we remembered her from our last visit here. The amazing thing is that she remembered us too. Of course, the food was great and the Chef had changed out the menu from the summer one to an amazing fall one. Lydia took great care of us and event had our food brought back up to our room as our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. Not only is the food great the staff amazing but the rooms are so peaceful and inviting and we were upgraded upon check in to a water facing room. What a treat! I work for Hilton and at a boutique hotel like this one. However, our hotel could use some lessons from the Chrysalis. I would give them a bigger review if I could. The only reason why I do not come more often is that they are always booked, and I know why!!!

The location is amazing. The view of the bay was beautiful. We were able to walk to the nearby shops and restaurants which was great. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. We ate breakfast and lunch at the Keenan and were very pleased with our meal. For dinner we sat outside which was beautiful. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

We found this hotel to be beautifully situated with stunning views of the water from the west-facing windows of the hotel. It has a lodge-like feel in the lobby area and restaurant. Lots of wood features, large beams, A lofty entrance atrium, and a fireplace in the living area. Personnel were uniformly friendly. Our room (206) was spacious, well appointed and very comfortable with a partial view of the water. The restaurant was outstanding. We did not make use of the spa facilities this visit. Trains come by directly in front of the hotel at intervals, but we did not find the audible rumble to be intrusive or disturbing. My only complaint is that the lobby and living/firplacee area of this hotel gets quite drafty and even chilly (we stayed in mid-December) due to very large areas of glass on either side, and due to the rush of cold air that comes into the lobby whenever the front door is opened. Naturally, this is of concern during the winter months, probably not an issue during the warmer months. The problem for us is that it made it uncomfortable to sit by the fireplace due to the drafts and cold wind from the entrance door whenever it was opened.

I have happily been staying here since they opened and this past night is my latest adventure there. The Chrysalis is truly my favorite "escape" when visiting my family. This is the epitome of the perfect "boutique hotel": the customer service is incredible; the spa is AMAZING; their restaurant, Keenan's is perpetually yummy, and their rooms are downright gorgeous. NOW, ADD IN THE VIEWS! WOW!!!! Fairhaven is a delightful section of Bellingham, and The Chrysalis is right there! There are galleries, groovy restaurants, Tony's Coffee (a tradition not to be missed), walkways over the Sound that you will love, and other assorted stores I have probably spent more money at than I will ever admit to my adoring husband ; ) Seriously, you will thank me!

Wonderful property with clean rooms. Very easy check in process. Cole was extremely helpful, and made sure my expectations were met. The room was very quiet and clean, with a nice bed. The rewards program is worth stopping by and getting registered for great discounts and rewards. The casino was very clean and updated. The cantina was an amazing dinner spot. I sat at the bar just outside the restaurant, and had amazing carne asada fries thay were a very large portion, i could only finish half. I would recommend this to anyone visting the Bellingham area.

My room was a great size and had everything I needed. I loved having a larger shower. It was the perfect size for me, being a larger person. The grab bar was very helpful too! Thank you for thinking of our safety! I appreciate how quiet it was there and I slept very well. USB plugs at every lamp, an iPAD that welcomes you at the desk & has lots of music choices. I didn't even use the TV this time. It was SO relaxing with music, which this SAHM needed!

I appreciate having a fridge and microwave and separate walk in shower and deep soaking tub. Bath amenities are great quality and smell good! The included breakfast provided a great selection, tea and coffee, juices , yogurt, cereal, pastries, eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast, breakfast sandwiches, fresh fruit and comfortable seating . The warm good morning greeting from kind attentive Staff starts the day off Sunny! The included Happy hour was appreciated on my return from a memorial service & a chance to unwind from a very sad emotional day. Others Guests were very friendly and nice to chat with over cocktails. I am so glad we found this hotel. Our room was very attractive and the beds were super comfortable. The bathroom was large with not only a shower but also a separate bathtub, large counter and sink, separate toilet room and soft and absorbent towels. We had a two queen suite which included a small couch, desk, cabinet with large flat screen TV, tall clothes closet, a microwave, small refrigerator, hot water pot, 2 mugs and coffee and tea packs. (My suggestion would be to add a small light over the coffee area). Complimentary beverages and appetizers were offered in the Bistro, and we each had a glass of wine with chips and queso. There are also many dinner options at a very reasonable price. I had shrimp alfredo with pasta (only $17) and my husband had a BLT with a side salad. We each had another glass of wine which I think was $5 each - very reasonable. Breakfast was served from 6-9 am, We didn't go down until 8 am and there was not a lot left, but some items were being refilled. My only complaint was that all the items, including coffee and juice, hot items, etc. were placed within a small space and to even get a coffee mug and coffee, you had to either get in line just for that, or wait until there was a break in the line. I think some of the items could be moved to other parts of the long counter to help eliminate the bottleneck/congestion. All in all, we very much enjoyed this hotel and would go back again if we are in the area.

This was our first time at this hotel and we enjoyed our stay! Room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The large tub was much appreciated after a long day on my feet. My husband found the pillows much too soft and had a tough time sleeping but they were perfect for me. We ate dinner at the bistro where the complimentary evening snack is served as well. Service there was wonderful and the chicken burger was delicious. The buffet breakfast is also served in the bistro and was quite impressive. Made to order omelettes, scrambled eggs, sausage, Hashbrowns, along with cereals, pastries and fruit. If you want an omelette, I recommend arriving at least an hour before breakfast ends as the orders pile up and they stop taking them long before breakfast actually ends. The hash browns were too spicy for us to eat but everything else made up for it. Overall, was a great stay and we will definitely be back!

This hotel stay is in my top 5 for the past 4 years. The room was spacious and comfortable: luxurious beds, a love seat, modern decor, very clean; and a large bathroom with double sinks and a soaking tub. After an excellent sleep, we enjoyed the cooked on site buffet breakfast - eggs, omelets, sausage, pastries and fresh fruit, all served on real tableware, not disposable junk. And the staff were very joyful and attentive. What a lovely stay!

Building has elevator and our ADA bathroom had the nicest shower I have ever used in a hotel with grab bars, fold-down shower bench, and 2 shower heads, one of them detachable! One side of the hotel faces very buisy interstate highway. The other side faces a parking lot. At the check in I asked to give me a room which faces parking lot. The receptionist fulfilled my request and gave me this quiet room. The room was very spacious. Everything was very clean. No smell of cigarette smoke or cannabis smoke in the room neither in the corridor or lobby was felt. This hotel is indeed non smoking place, which I like a lot. Breakfast was a good buffet breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausages, yogurt, toasts and muffins, coffee and cereals. Hotel is located not far from the downtown Bellingham. Large grocery supermarkets, Fred Meyer and Whole Foods, are within easy walking distance from the hotel.

I needed a clean, safe place to stay close to work during inclement weather. The rooms are simple, but dean and comfortable. I appreciated the in room microwave and refrigerator and nearby stores and restaurants. Staff was helpful. Breakfast provided. I especially was impressed with the spa room. I was pleasantly surprised with the great hot tub! Very clean and the water was hot enough (sometimes an issue at hotels).

10+ outlets to plug stuff into & 9 USB ports in the room for phone/camera/tablet charging etc. Super quiet room, comfy & clean bed. Excellent and kind staff. Walking distance to coffee, Whole Foods, downtown area, dinner/drinks etc. Less than a minute’s drive to get onto the I-5 freeway, both ways. Good area and safe parking lot, for peace of mind. Will stay here again!

King room is very nice size. Room has a refrigerator and microwave, but no coffee pot. Instead, there is (bad) coffee or hot water provided with breakfast. For week long or longer stays, room cleaning occurs once per week unless ask for more often. Can ask for towel service more often, for example. There are garbage cans in the hallway where room cans can be emptied without asking for cleaning service. The rooms were clean without having that horrible hotel smell, and the beds were comfy. USB outlets available, no need to bring chargers. There is laundry at the hotel, $9/load for self-serve wash and dry. All this makes for pleasant long term stay at hotel.

Clean, comfortable and good price. Definitely the place to stay in Bellingham. Breakfast was not amazing but some drip coffee and waffles were fine. Staff super nice. The have microwave and a medium size fridge in the room

A wonderful place to stop in Bellingham--much nicer than most of the other hotels but not much more expensive. Rooms and facilities were modern and extremely clean. I loved the pool and jacuzzi which was great after a day of cycling. The breakfast was very nice--not a nasty self serve buffet--and not expensive.

This was my first visit to the Sheraton, and it was a great visit. Austin at the front desk was helpful on the phone before I arrived and throughout my stay. I give the hotel five stars in every category. I loved everything. The Lobby decor, having a peaceful breakfast beside an indoor waterfall, the view of the summit of Mt. Baker from my clean, comfortable, quiet, room. The little extras in their specially created nook for coffee, refrigerator, and microwave. The location, with both Fred Meyer and Whole Foods in easy walking distance. Room service from the Grab and Go cafe was wonderful, and I enjoyed their fish and chips especially. They have shuttle service as far as SeaTac airport. On top of all this, friendly and considerate housekeeping. And all at a very reasonable price. I love this hotel. I will visit again.

Breakfast restaurant available, as well as an excellent dinner restaurant and bar, which features an outdoor covered patio with comfortable chairs and several fire pits to sit around. Very extensive drinks, wine and beer list.

The check in was easy and the staff was friendly and attentive. When we had trouble accessing the wifi, the front desk attendant was helpful and solved the problem quickly. Even though the hotel was near the highway, it was quiet. The room was clean and the pool and hot tub were refreshing and clean as well.

this was another dull average budget hotel with 2 extraordinary things: the staff was great accommodating my motorcycle, and friendly.. but the one amazing thing, when i saw jacuzzi i expected bath warm filled with kids, but i had it to myself and it was truly hot springs hot... and the sauna was far better than i expected. those things make this hotel a big win.

It's an old but decent property. Not sure why it reeks of smoke in all common areas- definitely something the management needs to address But our room was fine and we only stayed night. The sauna and jacuzzi were a nice bonus. Can't comment on the breakfast sice we didn't try it. But I think they offer waffles and toast.

We were stay for two nights in a king suite. The room is spacious, with a seating area. The AC is quite, the bed is comfy, the bathroom is big. Overall the room is very clean. The teas and coffee are always available in the lobby. The pool and hottub area is great, lots of loungers, chairs, tables and umbrellas. Great stay.

The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The motel was conveniently located and quiet. It was a good value and also included a breakfast with several options. And, the staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was comfortably furnished and the spacious bathroom had everything needed for a stress-free stay. The breakfast was generous and the food and coffee was very good. The dining area was always clean and relaxing. Easy check in and check out. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Breakfast had a wide variety, lots of tea and coffee available. Pleasantly surprised that there was an elevator to top floors, as haven't seen this with many motels in a similar vein. Staff members encountered were very friendly and courteous. Location feels reasonably safe and easy access on and off the highway, very close to shopping and restaurants in Bellingham. Rooms were very clean, and bed was comfy.

My husband and I stayed here last weekend while we were visiting family in Bellingham. I have never seen such a clean hotel. Even the corners of the bathroom floor were clean. They're not that clean at our house. We had stayed here years ago and hated it because the HVAC sounded like aliens were landing and kept us awake all night. I had Hilton Honors points so this trip seemed like a good time to try it again. This time, the HVAC was quiet and the beds were so comfy that we had a great night's sleep -- and that's exactly what we were looking for. The breakfast was a typical Hilton breakfast: breakfast sandwiches (not quite hot enough), pre-made omelets (nicely hot), fruit, cereal, toast, pastries and, of course, make-it-yourself waffles. The staff were nice and helpful. I watched a woman accidentally drop part of her breakfast on the floor. Staff were kind and made her feel like it was no problem while they cleaned up the mess. They also made sure she had a tray to help carry her breakfast safely. We stopped and took a look at the pool. It was tiny, but it looked like the families playing in it were having fun.

This hotel was nice and modern. Suites were spacious. I love the curtain that can divide the bedroom section from the living section. The breakfast was varied and delicious every day. My faves were the chicken strips and potato wedges and also the yogurt dispenser. The saltwater pool was also fun to swim in. Location is convenient to I-5 and less than a mile to Fred Meyer and Costco. I would definitely stay here again.

Friendly, responsive and helpful staff. Clean property, spacious rooms. This is our home away feom home when traveling to visif family. Game room for kids to play xbox oe ps4 or board games and books for parents or children to read. Pool area feels spa-like with the wood plank ceiling, salt water pool and hot tub- also very clean and relaxing.

The room was clean, well appointed. The bed was very comfortable and cozy. The drapes were blackout & kept it dark. The breakfast had many choices and the staff was extremely attentive and helpful.

Clean, staff was great, bed was comfortable and it was quiet. Wifi was good and appreciated the lights in the parking lot. Felt safe in the room.

My dad and I didn't know exactly what to expect, but everything was better than we imagined. We met the famous Anthony at the front desk and I can see why everyone raves about him. Very friendly and easy to talk to. The breakfast was nice. The yogurt is actually the best part!! 15 grams of protein, yum!! The rooms were comfy and clean too.

I appreciated the bathroom was designed with the sink and mirror outside the shower area. Much of the room has been remodeled but it had some quirks like a pink toilet. I really didn’t care about old towel bars and pink toilets. It was very clean and comfortable for what we paid.

We came up overnight to see a show downtown and we chose comfort in for its proximity to highway, reviews on quietness and price point. We did not make it down to breakfast because we wanted to brunch in Fairhaven. The bed is clean and comfortable with comfortable pillows. The room heat is nice. Very spartan overall. The fridge microwave are in working order and clean condition. The tv is nice and easy to operate. It was quiet through the night so we slept well. Sleeping comfortably was the most important thing so this experience met expectations.

Decent property to get a good nights rest. Bed was comfortable and clean and room was roomy. First thing I noticed was dead plants that could be easily removed and dry dead grass around the building. Property is not worried about curb appeal. Breakfast was simple and many good choices. What we didn't like was the bathroom. You had to squeezy between the toilet to enter the shower. Crazy ill planned design of a shower upgrade. The mirror was fancy lit but not near enough light to apply makeup. Simple clean property- zero fancy.

The hotel was clean and the staff were so great. The girl when we checked in was so friendly and helpful. I didn’t get her name, but she was honestly great. The room was clean and comfortable. Would recommend! The pool was closed due to maintenance.

Great price for a last minute stay here in Bellingham. The beds were really comfortable and warm, the breakfast was also good(waffles and fresh scrambled eggs were the best ). And the staff was very friendly and very helpful. Location was really close to local business.

Everything it is nice, cozy, warm and quiet. The staff are awesome and the breakfast is beyond delicious. I would recommend the Comfort Inn here in Bellingham to everyone and anyone. Good service and they make sure you are taken care of. Housekeeping is wonderful as well.

The front desk help was very friendly and helpful. We had some trouble logging in to the WIFI and she actually came to our room to help. The room was very clean and organized but quite small and the highway noise was annoying.

Jacuzzi tub!!! (And it worked!) Clean room. Well-maintained room and bathroom (no "scars", mold, or mildew). Instructions posted next to buttons and dials to help me know how to work things. I could store my bike in the room so I knew it was safe. The registration personnel were polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Hallways were clean and well-maintained. Ice machine was clean and smoothly operational. The breakfast area (counters, dispensers, tables, floors) were clean. Automatic sliding door at entry was wonderfully convenient (especially for manipulating a bike (or luggage). Did I mention the Jacuzzi tub? Only drawback was the limited breakfast selection. I (along with most of the guests this night) was in the middle of a 2-day, 187-mile bike ride. For me, substantial protein makes this kind of ride doable -- scrambled or hard-boiled eggs, sausage patties and oatmeal are what I look for in a breakfast. I'm allergic to dairy, so yogurt and milk are generally out.

Friendly front desk staff. Room was basically clean, but two long black hairs stuck to shower/tub wall, toilet had not been recently scrubbed. Dried up, used coffee packet still in coffee maker. Elevator out of order on check out morning. Breakfast was good. Bed was super comfortable.

We always stay at the Bellis Inn when we are in Bellingham. The desk people are always helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There really isn’t much of a breakfast though The price is right and a good location.

This place is great, located off the freeway and easy access to all the great sights in the area, and all the restaurants you’ll need. It offers coffee in the lobby 24 hrs. The rooms are nice and clean, beds comfortable, TV, Internet. And A/C. Why it gets bad reviews I have no ideal. I will say those people apparently are looking for a place to live, not a place to sleep and enjoy the surrounding area and sights.

Nice little place to stay for my Vito’s to the salt caves at Flow Motion in town. June 2025 - pool / hot tubs were closed. Sad Barely had water pressure to shower. The tap at the sink you really had to watch to make sure you twisted it to shut off The room itself was super tidy The bed was ok on the firmer side. Now about that slipper bedspread that just slides off not a fan. One day the elevator was also broken (I’m on the third floor and happy it was not check in/out day. For me Never made it down to breakfasts so can not say anything about that (not a breakfast eater) Would have been nice to see water both hot and cold at their 24 hr coffee station Was quiet to sleep that was a bonus.

I've stayed here often because it is low cost and location is good for some business I need to do. Staff was helpful. Room was clean, big enough, adequately furnished,xand not too noisy. They only have grab and go breakfast since covid. I used to like their hot breakfast. Truck noises/odors always idling from truck stop next door. Fast food within walking distance. Swimming pool and hot pool available. I will likely stay here again.

Things weren’t communicated well like when the breakfast would be available, and the wifi was very spotty. Other than that, it was a nice place to stay. It was clean, quiet and a good location with easy access on and off the freeway.

They do allow pets it’s a 20$ fee. Breakfast was good had waffles , Yoghurt , cereal, coffee, orange juice, apple juice and a few other things. The staff were wonderful. It was quiet!!!

Room was nice and clean. Toilet chain popped off two times. Great movies, great sleep. Breakfast prepared with out care. Almost empty one gallon container of syrup with crusty lid put out. Eggo waffles instead of batter and waffle maker. Bowls for cereal were so tiny? Just dont advertise breakfast as an after thought. Travellers really enjoy this aspect.

Walt greeted us at his gate to open it for us. The house is immaculate but comfortable. Several dogs live on property (Odetta loves attention). The two chocolate labs belong to Walt and Joseph. Our room was upstairs. The bed was very comfortable and the tiny kitchen/closet area had a tea kettle, coffee mugs, wine glasses, cutlery, plates, robes, and a plastic bin to put dirty dishes in (lots of places nearby to order takeout). Walt was gracious in allowing us to use his washer dryer so we could do laundry as we were midway through a long road trip. Breakfast was memorable. Coffee (good coffee!) orange juice, homemade jam, gluten free biscuits (sooo yummy) baked egg with arugula and goat cheese). Delicious. Walt chided my daughter for trying to clean up afterwards. It became a running bit of fun between them. Walt and his partner Joseph were lovely warm hosts.

I loved everything about Sehome Garden Inn. It was a gorgeous, comfortable, super clean, comfy, and safe place in a lovely area of Bellingham. The hosts are wonderful and kind. Breakfast was delicious. The bed was super comfortable. The shower was fantastic, strong, and it felt like a spa. The soap, shampoo & conditioner are all natural and ‘healthy’ products. They have a ‘real’ (big- normal sized handheld) hairdryer (not the tiny ones mounted to a wall in hotels/motels!) You can do laundry there too!!!!! A huge luxury when traveling (and doing lots of hiking). And they have two friendly dogs and a cat!

Sehome Garden Inn is absolutely beautiful! We stayed in a small suite at the back of the house. It was made up of a living room, small dining area and a small refrigerator, kettle and microwave. There were beautiful dishes available and cold water in beautiful bottles in the fridge. The bathroom shower is luxurious with a rain shower head and beautiful tile. The towels are soft and fluffy. The bedroom is small but comfy with mid century modern style and so cute! Everywhere in the apartment you will find lovely design elements including Japanese art and wool Pendleton blankets. The bed in the living room is a pull out sofa that is probably a double bed not a queen size. The house is on an acre of lovely garden that you are welcome to walk around in. There are Japanese arelia flanking the door, several different bamboo species, and a couple huge gorgeous Madrona trees at the entrance gate. I had fun identifying some of the different conifers scattered around the property. We were served breakfast in our suite both mornings, with homemade jam and fresh squeezed orange juice, and the hosts are amazing!! Everything was gluten free too, which was a wonderful surprise because I have celiac disease and I hadn’t even mentioned that on booking.

The hospitality offered by Walter, Joseph and their greeting committee (two chocolate labs and the friendliest inn cat you'll ever meet), was impeccable. Their thoughtfulness was on display at every turn, from amenities in the bathroom to a veritable menu of pillow options. Breakfast is tasty, fresh, and generous, with care taken to accommodate common allergies and dietary preferences (dairy-free, gluten-free, plant-based, etc, all available). When it comes to bed and breakfast, they offered all I could hope for: a VERY comfortable bed, a delicious and nutritious breakfast, welcoming hosts, all in a picture-perfect setting. We will, most definitely, be back.

Everything was SO clean! Our room was nicer than I expected: cozy sheets, lots of nice towels, soaps, dishware, free water. Location was perfect - 5 mins up the hill from downtown! The free breakfast in the morning was AMAZING (fresh GF biscuits, jam, yogurt, granola, fruit, eggs, coffee, fresh squeezed OJ!). The hosts were polite and very thoughtful. Their adorable dogs were there on the last day we were, the sweetest labs!
