My wife and I frequent Big Bear about once every 2 weeks , this place was by far the nicest we’ve stayed at , starting from the second we checked in the guy at the desk was above average polite and professional to the room , pool , and jacuzzi and finally the continental breakfast. Absolutely a 10 🔥💯

The BW Chateau hotel had a convenient location, plenty of amenities, and suited my small family of 4. It was about a 5-minute drive from BB Village. It was close to a Walgreen’s and a very good steak and seafood restaurant, and we were in a homey hotel that looked from a bygone era. It was relatively quiet, although walls were thin. The room was clean and comfortable, bed softer than I usually like, but still comfy. Breakfast was good each day, allowing both hot and cold selections. The kids liked the game room in the lower level, and it seemed that the jacuzzi was on and people were enjoying it in the cool air. Loved the fireplace in the room, as well, which added to the general cozy feel of this place. It also seemed like the hotel was undergoing some repairs throughout.

Great Little Boutique Hotel in Big Bear! We had a really nice stay at this boutique hotel in Big Bear. The vibe is super cozy and chill, with cool rustic touches that make it feel homey but still stylish. One of my favorite things was the walking path right behind the hotel, surrounded by tall pine trees it made for a peaceful way to start the day. The room was clean and comfy, with everything I needed. The free breakfast was a nice bonus and really convenient before heading out to explore. Plus, the staff was friendly and helpful, which always makes a difference. The location is perfect—close enough to town but still quiet and relaxing. If you’re looking for a laid-back spot with good vibes and a bit of nature right outside your door, I’d definitely recommend this place!

The staff was very nice & helpful! The breakfast was really good & had a lot of varieties from cold to hot breakfast items. Unfortunately the "balcony view" was not beautiful! There was no view, just the backyard of a rundown building! Our fireplace didn't work either but we did come in July so that's probably not the atmosphere we wanted due to it being warm outside! The water temp in the shower was luke warm. When we let them know they were very apologetic about that & they took note on everything we said!

Enjoyed the large suite with jacuzzi tub and fireplace. The balcony overlooking the pool was nice. Service was exceptional and everyonw was pleasant. Will return again.

I asked to be on a lower floor due to my wife’s bad knees and to be close to the jacuzzi as it’s therapeutic for her. It was disappointing that the resort did not notify us as we were looking forward to the amenities the resort advertised. An organization like Holiday Inn should notify their customers of an inconvenience like this and compensate Had we been notified we would have stayed at another location to enjoy a jacuzzi.

I had an exceptionally comfortable and enjoyable experience at the Hawthorn Hotel. The hotel's location was ideal, with numerous supermarkets and restaurants conveniently located within a 1-kilometer radius. Dining at the Lavender Restaurant was a delightful experience, and the breakfast buffet offered an impressive variety of delicious options. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive to all my needs. I want to specifically thank **Arbab** for his outstanding professionalism and kindness. His efforts truly made my stay memorable, as he went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. I highly recommend the Hawthorn Hotel and look forward to staying there again in the future. Thank you for a truly wonderful experience.

The room was clean and pretty spacious. We had a view of the pool. The heater worked very well. The breakfast was amazing!!! The location was perfect walking to the restaurants and shops and 5 min away from the summit.

My husband & I met some other family members here for a celebration of life ceremony in town. The hallways smelled of mildew, but the rooms did not. Our stay was comfortable...comfy bed, nice shower & clean rooms. Our room even had a fireplace. Pretty nice. We paid extra ti have breakfast included, which was pretty good, as you can choose 9ff regular menu and have your $ credited to it. Weekends there is a buffet. We were not there for that. All in all, we'd stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Cathy's Cottages; it was everything we wanted. The king-size bed and jacuzzi tub were perfect for our stay as a couple. Room was clean and comfortable. Wifi and cell service were excellent as well.

First off; allowed me early check in..so pleased with this👍 the place was gorgeous…pines,family picnic areas,pool,jacuzzi and all close to lake.. Many different rooms to choose from..front desk person was very helpful and nice..would definitely come back (and tell a few others)

I enjoy the sauna and the Jacuzzi after a long drive, 20m getting there they closed the road, we had to travel 2 more hours and go on the 38, it did needed aome cleaning but everything was nice, i enjoy every minute, I always send my friends here to come, and enjoy, the cabin, Thank You very much

I stayed here for my girlfriend’s birthday and I was so happy with everything about this place. They are very accommodating and truly went above and beyond to make our stay amazing! They gave us a free upgrade because it was my girlfriend’s birthday and even offered to keep the jacuzzi open for an extra hour. I’ll definitely be coming back and will be recommending this place to friends and family!

We loved this property! The room had a nice fridge with freezer and a microwave. There were utensils and paper towels too! We loved time in the sauna and Jacuzzi after a day of hiking! They were super accommodating and friendly. And even had happy birthday on the TV when we checked in on my birthday! We will definitely return!

We have been coming to Big Bear for years and we were always talking about why there's no nice hotel in here. Now we have it. Beautiful new hotel, very clean, nice staff, great amenities such as pool, jacuzzi .. High quality food. Highly recommended

Had a wonderful experience! It has all the amenities I want in a vacation stay. They have a coffee machine 24 hours. They have a pool and jacuzzi that my kids enjoyed. I just wish the pool was heated for a better experience. The breakfast buffet was a really great addition. The facility is very clean and modern. The rooms are good size for a family of 4. They even give smores and candy that my kids loved. We will definitely come back! Shout out to Aldo who has been very consistent in giving impeccable service! He is very warm and accommodating. He deserves a raise! Will definitely come back.

The hotel was recently remodeled so is nice, we spent 1 week in October there. They have a decent breakfast well worth it of you wake up for it. They have a small but good pool/jacuzzi, we enjoyed it with the kids 2 times while we were here. The hotel is conveniently located near the main strip, almost everything is 1 or 2 miles away. We went on a quick walk to skyview park near the hotel very nice park for the kids and a short walk with no traffic.

Very fun and very pleasing hotel! Definitely recommend!! Parking a little bit expensive for one day, rooms are pretty nice with a kitchen and depending on the room you get the amount of beds you ask for. There is a Jacuzzi and pool which is open. There are many things to do like smores. A man named Aldo helped me and my family today and it very respectful! Great staff!

Wasn't sure what to expect based on the pricepoint, but was pleasantly surprised. Stayed in Room 1 (on the end, just down from the office). Comfortable king bed (great pillows!!), 4-cup coffee maker, dorm sized refrigerator & microwave. Huge bathroom. Electric fireplace (nice for the brief morning chill); also an oscillating fan which came in handy as the room got a bit stuffy even with the windows open. So ... why is it quirky? We were there in what appeared to be a really dead time - after labor day and before Oktoberfest. Only one person on duty each day we were there, so the office wasn't generally open; in fact, we had to call so they could open the office to check in. No housekeeper on the 2nd day; asked to have our room made up while we were out. We were given fresh towels, but the dirty towels stayed on the floor and the coffee service not replenished. No breakfast; apparently only on weekends. All of that being said, everyone we came in contact with was more than pleasant and helpful. There is a view of the lake from the property, a number of places to sit outside, a separate smokers area (nice touch!); gazebos and a grilling area (charcoal). It's less than 1/2 mile from the Village, so a very easy walk to the restaurants and shops. Quaint? First time in years I've used an actual key for my hotel room. It was clean and comfortable and more than suited our needs.

Staff was overall friendly upon check in. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable enough with two standard pillows (I'd bring my own next time). Bedding was very dated, but clean and comfortable. Surroundings were nice and quiet. Bathroom was strangely large (lots of empty space between toilet and shower/tub) which made a smaller bedroom area, but good for wheelchair access. Beautiful view of the lake a short walk away and short walk to the major restaurants and shops. Our room had a mostly empty tissue box, but we brought our own so no big deal. No AC which is ok during the winter, but it did get hot really fast with the fireplace on. Unfortunately opening the windows resulted in the room smelling like burned firewood from outside (people possibly using their firepit or fireplace in the surrounding area) in the evenings which made it hard for those sensitive to smells. The rooms did have fans available, which helped. Overall no frills, but nicely maintained. Good place to get away.

Excellent location and hotel! Close to all the shops and village. There is a big open green area next to the hotel. Had a great time playing in the snow and built a big snowman too. Easy to walk to the lake. Plenty of parking too. The family room suite has been recently renovated. Bedroom includes two beds and plenty of drawer space. Living room is spacious with kitchenette, two couches, and a fireplace. The bathroom is probably only thing that was "ok". the shower wasn't that strong and there was only one sink. Not enough shelf space for our toiletries. There is continental breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Coffee, juice, hot chocolate, pastries, bagels and cream cheese and fruit. that's it. one of the better hotels we've stayed at in big bear. It's not as rustic as other cabins, but i like the modern touches and central location. please do not build next to the hotel! it's nice to have some open area to hang out.

This was a clean room that was very large and well equipped and super comfortable. The grounds were clean and had nice extras like bbqs and shaded picnic tables. We chatted with the front desk woman (owner) and she was very friendly and a nice person. We had a couple other of encounters with hotel staff--all professional and helpful. This is an excellent place to stay and hurrah the staff enforces the rules so the rest of us get our money's worth in a nice quiet stay.

My partner and I stayed here 3 nights over the 4th of July weekend. This is our second stay here and we already booked our next. The staff is super friendly, our room and bathroom were very comfortable and the location is perfect for us; an easy 10 minutes walk to the village main street and marina. The rooms do not have AC but they do provide fans. This is normally not an issue in this area, but this past weekend was unusually hot. Can't ask for anything better for the price. Other properties in this area charge a lot more money. The property is located on a side street that ends at the lake shore and there is a popular restaurant and bar there overlooking the lake. So on weekend nights you can hear cars coming and going until around 11 pm, but this place is much quieter and peaceful than most other properties this close to the town's main streets.

I thought it was super cool they had a pretty big jacuzzi placed in the middle of the room. Really nice to get in after a cold day skiing. Odd that the room is carpeted next to the jacuzzi, but didn’t notice mold or a funky smell, so something is working. Nice location, we didn’t have a view from our room but we didn’t stay in the room long. Walking distance of a couple cool restaurants. Front desk, I believe his name was John was helpful and pointed us in the right direction of some good dinner spots and sent maintenance up very quickly when we had issues with the heating. Maintenance was able to turn the heating on quickly and we were happy little clams.

We liked that the hotel is on the corner and very close to many restaurants and the snow lifts. We loved the view of big bear lake. We booked two rooms; both were clean, spacious and cozy.

Really helpful and friendly staff on the front desk, who helped us extend our stay at extremely short notice. Room was clean, quiet, and very convenient in terms of parking and local amenities.

This proper was a charming time warp back to the 70s. It's cozy and fully functional for two adults. The room had plenty of room for our needs of staying 2 nights and skiing. It had an operational TV, Small Fridge, and Ski Closet. The Shower was larger than we expected. The location is prime as it is directly in the Village and dining options were directly outside within walking distance. We love the vibe for Ski vacations and plan to return. The staff was very friendly and helped us back into our room that we immediately locked ourselves out of. The doors lock immediately when you close them, so be careful not to leave your room key inside. My only recommendations is that they replace the worn out electrical sockets which cause chargers to disconnect from the power. Also, the shower faucet was incredibly short. I'm not that tall, but I'm 6' 1" and I had to bend over to get water on my head. They sell faucet extensions at Home Depot for $15 that can fix that. Over all, Robinhood Resort was a fantastic stay and I recommend it for people who want a Big Bear get way from LA.

My girlfriend and I needed a quick get away from reality. We love going to big bear. I looked up hotels near big bear village. Came across Robinhood Resort. The room was shockingly affordable given the fact that it was a last minute trip planning. The room was nice, spacious and convenient. Only problem was the A/C wasn't working, but we turned on the fan and opened the window. After a while the room temp was cool. The location was amazing. The shops and restaurants are all with in walking distance. So the late night walk back was no issue. We were sad that it was only for one night, but we will for sure stay again for future trips. Check in/check out was a breeze.

Beautiful property. Enjoyed the location, close to everything, very walkable. The in suite jacuzzi tub was wonderful after a long day. Balcony was nice for early morning coffee and relaxing. A nice little breakfast. This place was clean and simple. Perfect!

Always, this is the only place we stay when in Big Bear for the last 25 years!!!! The room was clean, large, with a fireplace and jacuzzi. Decor was warm and inviting. Wonderful places to eat at nearby. And easy access to transit around Big Bear. And pets are allowed.

Comfortable and quiet, and Thanks for ordering the snow lol. We arrived at the perfect time in order to see it snow etc. The hot tub in the living room was unique, and very relaxing. Being upstrs was best as well for the view and not having to be concerned at all with anyone above us. Also was in walking distance to the restaurants on the main blvd.

this is one of the best resort at Big bear lake , have all kind of Cabins and most clean looking resort .lots of parking . we stayed cabin 24 , this is 1 bedroom with big Kitchen fit 8-10 people , 2 queen beds in the room , nice wood fire place which we use every night . nice bathroom with big shower . we love the private back yard with jacuzzi and table and chairs .

The many themed cabins this cottage offers stands out as a fun way to enjoy the Big Bear Lake experience to the fullest! The amenities the host provides allows us to relax during our stay here. The heater, jacuzzi, hot water works amazing!

The owners and cottage are a gem! The cottage is amazing. My girlfriend and I were in the treehouse for this year’s trip. Everything is cozy, spacious, convenient, and super hospitable. The waterfall right just when you enter the room is very relaxing. The attention to detail from the decorations, bed/bathroom care, costume, appliances is superb. The stone style jacuzzi was very comfortable too. The property is well insulated so it felt cozy to sleep without needing to use the heater. Sir Gawain and Pyramis were very cuddly hanging out with us as we played card games on the loft outside!

This was an amazing experience!! I stayed at the tree house and ut was literally out of a fairytale!! The jacuzzi was awesome as well as the view from the deck/room. Maria made our stay extra cozy and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place for a romantic getaway. Adorable themed cabins, close to restaurants and the lake. Really loved the cat residents too! Didn't know about Sir Gawain and Pirithos until we showed up. Sir Gawain is allowed to come in the cabin and loves to cuddle on your lap. The jacuzzi tub was so nice and relaxing. We didn't use the fireplace but I imagine during the winter it would add an even more romantic atmosphere. They also have these cute twinkling Faerie lights on at night that make it even more adorable.

I loved the themes, my goal is to experience everyone of them, it was so cozy with the fireplace and jacuzzi together in the same room....I loved that we could put on the outfits, it made the whole experience very knightly. We want to rent the treehouse next or the castle. Cheers to the owner for your creativity......you are truly very gifted. Thank you!! Already saving for our next adventure there.....we are making this place our get away from here on out.....Absolutely loved it!!!!!

It was beautiful, peaceful, and very comfortable. The area is quiet, the bed was cozy, and the location is great — just a short walk to the main street. The cabin had everything we needed for cooking and felt spacious for two people. We also loved the jacuzzi and the small porch, perfect for breakfast or simply enjoying the view.

I absolutely loved this lodge! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how extremely clean everything was and the beautiful Pinterest worthy aesthetic throughout. The wooden design created such a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. The lodge came fully equipped with everything I needed such as utensils, pans, pots, and even a mini pizza oven, which was a delightful surprise I've never seen at other rentals! The bed was incredibly comfortable, the hot water was reliable, and they had a Roku TV that let me watch Netflix and Hulu which I enjoyed. What really elevated the experience was the outdoor jacuzzi. Going at night was absolutely magical, being able to soak in hot water while stargazing was unforgettable! The check in process was also seamlessly done online with no reception desk or physical card hassle, which made everything so much easier. Bri was wonderful and helped accommodate my special requests, which I truly appreciated. Considering you get your own entire private lodge with all these amenities and features, I thought it was very well priced. Overall, this was an incredibly relaxing experience with amazing energy and vibes. I would 110% come back with my family again!

Super clean. Very aesthetic. Very accommodating. Manager on site is very polite, she showed me the biggest cabin and told me I can get a discount if I decide to stay again. This cabin was exactly what I was looking for and it exceeded our expectations. We had the best 3 days there (wish I could of stayed longer). This cabin had everything in the kitchen, I was able to cook and save money on restaurants. I was amazed that they had a private barbecue and pizza oven. I had breakfast every day outside in the backyard chairs they had. I know the site said the jacuzzi was shared but NO ONE used it so it felt private when I went in with my husband. The cabin also had Netflix (you don’t have to login to your account to use it, it comes with it). I loved this place. Added it to my favorite list. I’m definitely coming back.

Nice and quiet place. Calmful atmosphere. Clean!!!. No any Bad smell. Comfort bed. The atmosphere was like it was my private vacation home. Stylish interior. Gas stove. All that need in the kitchen for cooking. plates, knives, and spoons. Even salt and cooking oil. very ergonomic furniture. Soft-closing storage cabinets. Great. Hot/Cold water pressure. Jacuzzi available. (Need to open the cover). Washer and dryer. Crystal clean windows. Guiding materials provided. Interesting books to read. The designer did his job with an A+. Great concept! Thank you for NOT putting a microwave! Only Gas stove and classic style whistling kettle.
