We liked so many things about our stay. Ambiance of the rooms. So cute with the lighted scenes above the beds. The room had the slightest fragrance that was not overpowering but just seemed to be welcoming and fresh. Very comfortable bedding. The best shower both in terms of ability to control the water temperature and we appreciated the sliding shower screen…. So much better than an annoying shower curtain. I often have to be cautious with slippery flooring in a shower, but the immaculate shower stall flooring also felt very safe and secure. Then there was the staff! Everyone seemed delighted to serve and make our stay great. The breakfast room serviced many people, but one of the staff was continually topping up and cleaning the area. I cannot say enough about how lovely our stay was. Thank you!

Top-notch experience all the way around! Online reservation and check-in easy and smooth - with telephone number if direct contact desired/needed. All team members professional and friendly. At check-in, realized team had read our special requests and took action. So refreshing! Hotel was clean and inviting, both inside and out. Our room was clean, modern, quiet, and comfortable. And that outstanding buffet breakfast (with its equally outstanding and friendly team). This wonderful hotel is a great location for Boone and surrounding area - we have found our Boone go-to hotel! Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at Graystone! My room was modern, clean, comfortable, and accommodating. The bed was so comfy that I slept like a baby. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Also, I enjoyed the comp chocolate chip cookies at the front desk. Breakfast was very good and tasty, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The quiche was yummy! The pool looked amazing, but I didn't get a chance to use it because of my schedule.

The staff was friendly and professional. Paula and Emma went the extra mile from check-in to check out. The beds were very comfortable. After a good night's sleep, the breakfast was amazing: offering delicious selections meeting a wide variety of breakfast preferences. The breakfast team was just as wonderful as the food. The Graystone provided a restful night and a great start to the day in a perfect Boone area location.

The breakfast was the best 'free breakfast' at a hotel I have ever had. The breakfast staff were friendly and constantly replenishing fresh fruit (strawberries and blueberries) and other choices. The selection was great -- there was plenty to choose from, even up until the 10am breakfast closing time. The front desk staff was very personable and friendly. The rooms, especially the bathrooms, had just been updated and were very nice. Only 5 minutes to downtown Boone, but still very close to other restaurants.

Very clean and has lots of amenities. Friendly staff. The fitness room was clean with quality equipment and there was attention by having sweat towels and a place to fill up water bottles. The bed was comfortable and the made-to-order breakfast was amazing. Not what I was expecting from a hotel breakfast. Definitely get one of the scones! They come out warm. We didn't visit the pool and hot tub, but the area looked like it was in good shape.

Normally I don't write reviews, but bc of the service from Ms. Faith, I had to. I stayed at the hotel about a month ago and still can't forget what Ms. Faith did for me. Somehow either I got it wrong, or the night crew told me wrong about the time breakfast ends. Needless to say, I missed breakfast. Ms. Fiath went out of her way to make me breakfast. and it was good. She didn't know that I was looking forward to breakfast since 2 am, which was the time I got into the hotel. Other than that everything was super clean. Sadly because I got in so late and the Hotel was packed, the water for my shower wasn't hot. but that's kinda normal at hotels when there packed and it's late.

We were there to drop my daughter at ASU. We loved the property and the GM was great even though it was his first week. Our stay was comfy and we got upgraded by Faith. We have nice breakfast (traditional breakfast). Me and my wife had some good drinks. Bar could be better but I’m sure he is new and he has good ideas. We didn’t use the pool but gym was spacious.

The front lobby staff were all so friendly. The hotel was so clean and smelled amazing. The rooms was spacious and the beds were sooo comfortable.

Staff was great! Room was great, very clean. Breakfast was one of the best ive had in the US. Most anything 5 minutes away. Mountains 14 minutes away. Heated pool is just warm enough to help a little after being cold on the mountain, but not a hottub by anymeans ,and they never said it was.

We enjoyed the property very much. The room was wonderful very clean hotel. The breakfast was mid and we were kind of sad to discover there was no hot tub / jacuzzi but we enjoyed the pool.

Loved our stay. If we are in the area will stay again. Had an easy check in. Earlier that day had a call to confirm reservation. Had a late arrival 9pm. Super easy. Room was clean but not spotless. Bed comfortable and pillows. Had adequate blankets. Large TV. Breakfast was included. They had a huge selection of items. Yogurt, oatmeal cereal fresh fruits, biscuit gravy sausages, muffins bagels different breads. Amazing breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great time at this hotel. Staff was friendly and attentive. Great location, and very convenient to attractions, restaurants, and outdoor activities. Room was very clean and updated. The free breakfast buffet was outstanding with a lot of options for different dietary needs. Will definitely be staying here the next time we're in Boone. If you are in the area highly recommend the Graystone Lodge!

We had a wonderful three-night stay! Our room was immaculate and the beds were incredibly soft. Everything looked so new and upgraded. The shower was amazing. We had a delicious breakfast. The stone fireplace was beautiful. The staff was amazing, kudos to Anna and Ari!! They gave us tips on things to do in town and were so warm and friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Friendly staff and clean rooms with jacuzzi and fireplace. It is pet friendly which was a requirement for us. Our house was damaged by hurricane Helene and we need a place to stay while repairs were made to our house. It is in Downtown Blowing Rock with several restaurants in walking distance.

I was really pleased with the room for the price. But the jacuzzi tub did not work and the shower head dripped heavily when the tub faucet was running.

Enjoyed an extended fall weekend trip with a friend and our pups here. The King Deluxe (#6) was so cozy, comfy and super clean. Nice quality bed linens. Towels can use a refresh but were clean. Loved the gas fireplace & ginormous tv in room, as well as coffee bar and mini fridge. Pulling up to the room made unloading and loading car convenient. Landscaping is beautiful. Staff in the office is friendly. Super convenient and walkable to the main streets of downtown Blowing Rock. My and my friend’s only disappointment, which was considerable with the bad weather we had and for late night trips out with pups, was having to either walk across the street or behind the bldg to an drive with narrow grass strip for our pups to potty. Pups are not allowed in any grassy areas of the courtyard and streets are not grass-lined. And for some reason our 2 small pups were averse to going into the nicer pet area across the street. Both of them preferred to go on street or in gravel instead. Not sure why that was. We did notice the ground was considerably more wet for some reason in gated potty areas, so perhaps that why. Disclosing more info on pet relief options /locations would have been helpful on the website and to know in advance of booking. Otherwise, the Homestead Inn was delightful.

Just a short walk from shops and restaurants on Main St. in the downtown area, the Inn is lovely. Stunning plants and flowers are everywhere in the beautifully maintained garden, with seating that surrounds a fire pit. The room was clean, cozy, comfortable and quiet. Loved the sheets! Felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. The Inn is pet friendly, so I was able to bring my dog, which was a big plus. Chris, who staffed the reception desk, was very pleasant and helpful. We had a very enjoyable stay!

Cozy and clean place. Well kept and friendly people with a cottage atmosphere. Chris was very helpful and friendly.. Coffee in the morning and this place is right off the main street. Comfortable bedding and updated clean bathroom. Refrigerator also.

The view is great! The distance to the Beech Mtn skiing is super. The room was comfortable and spacious. Bathroom could use modernization, but everything worked great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy in my Range Rover, and I'd suggest an SUV because of the icy conditions

This was a great trip for us. Our first time to hike on the Appalachian Trail and this was the perfect place to call home for our adventure. 1) Safe 2) Hot water for a shower when we were done for the day. 3) Full Size fridge to accommodate our stay. 4) Fully equipped with toaster, microwave and coffee maker. 5) Stow away table with four chairs. So cool. Decor is a bit dated but if you’re in the area to do outdoor activities like us, this place is a Gem. Well maintained on the outside. It’s rugged on the inside like the area and exactly what we needed. Thanks to the staff for top notch communication and lining out the details for a smooth late arrival for us!

The balcony was closed, and the sofa bed was broken, but the 2 beds were comfy, and the room was clean. There was good water pressure, even being on the top floor on top of a mountain, which was good, and the bathrooms were both clean and in good working order. The gentleman and lady at the front desk were helpful when we checked in with some suggestions on what to do with the kids.

It was very appropriate for a dad and son to stay while going skiing. Nicely stocked kitchen supplies. Room was quiet with good heater. Everything worked. Having a Mexican restaurant right down the hall was super convenient. I later heard that all the restaurants in town were super busy that evening. We didn’t even have to go outside to get dinner.

Very clean but dated room. Staff was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay and were very satisfied with our overall experience. I especially appreciated being able to cook in our room. And really enjoyed the quiet nature of the place. A very relaxing stay

Everything about this hotel was excellent. The check-in was professional. Our room was spacious and very clean. The bed and room temperature was comfortable. The pool was large for swimming laps and it was warm. The breakfast has an attendant. They had many gluten free options. Everything was fresh and restaurant grade. The parking was easy. The neighborhood is very safe. It's within walking distance of many downtown shops and restaurants. My wife and I have no complaints about this hotel. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great location, close to downtown Blowing Rock, walking distance to restaurants and shops. Meadowbrook is close to both Main Street and Chetola Resort. Our room was clean and comfortable, with coffee maker and mini fridge. It is an older hotel as far as style, but it has everything you need. The Breakfast is good but crowded, on our stay we sat outside the dining room as there were no tables available. The hotel has a Bar on the ground floor, which is nice if you want a drink. Both the Front Desk person, Jacob, and the Bartender, were friendly and helpful. It is a bonus that you can book just one night at a place that is so convenient to everything including the Blue Ridge Parkway. We were surprised to be able to get a room at peak leaf season at the last minute.

The hotel itself is in a great location to explore Boone. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was good. Our room was very comfortable and we loved the heart shaped jacuzzi tub.

It was great. They upgraded me to Jacuzzi room. There was an adorable squirrel outside named peanut that made my trip!! The manager Mark was amazing, I'll definitely be back. The only problem was the night worker at the front desk. He called us at 230 am and said our TV was too loud and it was barely on, I asked him if he personally heard it and he said no. Besides him every thing was perfect, that guy Mark at the front was really superb.

We booked the room with a jacuzzi tub for our wedding anniversary. The jacuzzi was great, and the cleaning crew was very helpful. Upon arrival, however, we checked in with the front office and were allowed to go to our room. Unfortunately, the cleaning staff had just started cleaning it. We had to wait for them to finish. We nearly missed our dinner reservation that evening because of the wait. The cleaning staff was very apologetic and gave us extra towels. We also had issues with our key and the door latch. We appreciated the cleaning staff, but we were frustrated with the front desk’s lack of communication with other staff members. We will likely not stay here again.

We stayed Saturday and Sunday night, and I booked through Expedia and for the summer season 141 a night seemed extremely reasonable. I do always use Expedia because it seems that the prices of any hotels are a bit cheaper. As far as the room itself: bathroom was very clean, we had a jetted jacuzzi room and it was also very clean and all the jets worked. The bed was comfortable, plenty of pillows, and a the sheets were very soft and comfortable. Tv, fridge, and microwave worked without issue. The hotel had a pool as well as Hot tub and also a very nice breakfast. Every time i return to Boone I will be continuing to use this hotel. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a wonderful stay at the Country Inn & Suites in Boone! The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and all the amenities we needed. The complimentary breakfast was fresh and had a great variety of options to start the day. The location is perfect — close to downtown Boone, local restaurants, and beautiful mountain views. The indoor pool was a great bonus for the kids. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. A great experience overall!

Room was great! Nice fireplace and a big jacuzzi tub! Endless hot water! The king size bed slept great! The front desk had a phone charger for us to borrow! Great location! Close to Fleetwood, West Jefferson and Blowing Rock! Decent breakfast!

Very clean, amazing staff, made us feel right at home. Amazing views of the mountains, grocery and restaurants close by. Just 5 minutes from downtown Boon. Pool area was clean and well maintained as well as the room. Highly recommend this hotel

The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, and the atmosphere felt peaceful and safe. The staff was courteous and friendly and attentive to my requests. I was pleased with the availability of the complimentary breakfast which offered a nice selection.

Our stay had a rough start. the AC in our room was leaking and the floor around it was wet. I contacted the front desk and Shauanda was very friendly, she tried to get us to a new room as it was the evening and maintenance was gone for the night. We went to have dinner while we were waiting for an update and I gave Shauanda my cell number to keep me updated. She did give me a call to let me know there were no other rooms available but that the hotel would comp that first night. Maintenance came the next day and fixed the AC and it did not leak anymore. The beds were comfortable, and the room was a good size. There was a whirlpool bathtub in the actual room (as well as a regular bathtub in the bathroom) but we did not use the whirlpool tub; it looked as though it needed to be cleaned. The water pressure was good but the hot water was very spotty; it would go in and out during the showers and baths. The breakfast was ok, there was a waffle machine and a continental type breakfast. For the most part it was a decent stay. Don't know if we would stay again but it wasn't horrible.

Perfect for anyone who loves and appreciates an historical building. Yes, it is old. Yes, they use actual keys. Yes, there's a LOT of history here!! GPI was beautifully decorated for the holidays. We made a quick trip for my son's birthday, this is our 2nd time here. We were allowed an early check in into a single queen room. Not as nice as our last room, this one could use a little TLC, but still cozy. After drinks at the bar, we enjoyed sitting in the common area with many others while listening to live piano music. Quite relaxing! Breakfast is a hot made to order breakfast, much better than standard stand-in-line breakfast bars at hotels. Hot water takes a while to crank up for a shower but we already expected this so we weren't bothered by it. It truly is a magical, beautiful place, close to downtown Blowing Rock. Friendly staff that wore many hats and handled it well.

This hotel is a just out of the way gem. A historic hotel from the 1800s still in operation. It goes without saying a wood structure that old is going to have a high maintenance workload. The age of the hotel also gives it an amazing vibe. It is beautifully decorated with antique furnishings. The staff are excellent, friendly and accommodating. The two restaurants are very good, the Burger I got in the Divide was one of the best I’ve had anywhere. The bartender was a very interesting and engaging gentleman that you don’t run across often. The bar was lightly populated when I went and was ghostly in a tangible hanging in the air kind of way. The hotel is a nice reprieve from the compact and crowded downtown and is truly rooted in the real local Appalachian culture. A historic treasure.

We had a nice, relaxing wkend stay at the G.P. Inn. Everyone was friendly, & accommodating. The included breakfast was delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed listening to the Charlie Ellis Trio on Sat pm. It was apparent that they had quite the following of fans every Sat evening. He knew most guest, by name, as they came in to listen to him play. The only negatives were the loud banging of the pipes in our room every morning. And that there was a spider that came down from the ceiling, on a long string, over the bed. He was literally face to face with my wife. He was quickly apprehended & flushed.🕷️❌ Overall it was a nice stay in an older Inn.

Stayed at the Green Park Inn on a recent trip to Blowing Rock. The hotel is a historical property so it's a little dated but the rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfasts were cook to order and there is a small restaurant / bar on site too. Good place for the money . I'd go back next time I'm in Blowing Rock.

We were in the area to attend the App State Open House. The property is close enough without being in the heart of the campus craziness. Very cozy and cute property. Older property, but charming. Clean and comfortable. Hot shower! Bonus - I did not know there would be a balcony! Owners were very friendly and welcoming.

It was a cute little quite Cabin my family and I enjoyed our stay we had Great Views and no one bothered us despite what many said the cabin was cozy and Perfect for our Stay Bug free and clean water was perfect for a hot bath and staff was so sweet to help us in whatever we needed will be going back to stay in the future

There was no breakfast. What I liked is that it was wooded, quiet, (even though we were right off 105 hwy), and had a balcony. I wanted a pet friendly place for an overnight, and it was graced with forested walks with your pet. I will return and rent one of their cabins for a longer stay! Staff was heldful and fun checking in and out!

I was in town for a full marathon. Traveling With my mom and two dogs. I was looking for a dog friendly, convenient location, affordable place to sleep comfortable and shower. This motel met all my expectations. I do recommend.

Perfect location. Walkable to pubs, restaurants, the park, shops, event venues. Clean. Quiet. Easy access parking. Comfortable bed. Lots of pillows. Very small but adequate bathroom. It is perfect for a single person or two people who don’t require a large bathroom space. There is no refrigerator or microwave in the room. They have a room with bags of ice, coffee, hot cocoa, and a microwave accessible 24/7.

This inn is spotlessly clean and very comfortable in downtown Blowing Rock. It was a very quiet, perfect night sleep on a comfortable bed. The staff treated everyone with deep kindness. The restaurant across the street had a delicious breakfast at a very low price. It was an easy walk to the Blowing Rock Art and History Museum.

Charming and quaint, we stayed in the cabin and it was very spacious. It was just my husband and me and we plan on coming back with our college-age daughter as there is plenty of room and privacy. The space was quiet and felt secluded; if the fog had not been awful this weekend, we would have had lovely views from the windows! The best part for us was the location, literally steps away from downtown and accessible to restaurants and shops. Staff was very friendly, the room was exceptionally clean and well-kept and the overall experience was exactly what we were looking for- relaxing and chill! We will definitely be back and highly recommend!

Great stay in such a cute cabin. Lovely area and only a couple of minutes walk from super shops, coffee bars and restaurants. The cabin was very quiet, clean and comfortable. Great nights sleep in the very comfy bed. All amenities. No fridge or microwave/ kettle in the room but we could use these items in the lobby so it wasn’t an issue. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in one of the little cabins on the property and I loved it. Cabin was cute and very clean. It had cute front and back porch. We LOVED having an indoor fireplace, it was great to cozy around it with wine. Bathroom and kitchen were well stocked and clean. We enjoyed getting coffee in reception 24 hour coffee room. Walkable to everything downtown. I stay in Blowing Rock about once a month, this was my first stay at Mountainaire and I would definitely stay again.

Nicely renovated property. Pretty outside design and interior design. Large room and good breakfast. Indoor pool and jacuzzi. But jacuzzi's jets were not working.

EVERYTHING!! I just needed a little break and decided to take my two special needs grandchildren on a short trip. The main reason we chose this hotel was the reviews and the pool! The pool was closed on day 1. I called the property and told them about my kids (I am raising them, both have sensory processing disorders and development delays, among other issues) The hotel agreed to upgrade us to a room with jacuzzi! Day 2 we meet the general mgr! (WENDY) I CANNOT TELL YOU ENOUGH POSITIVE THINGS ABOUT THIS WOMAN! I have been in retail mgmt for 30 years and she went above and beyond to make sure these two kids were happy. Noah is high functioning autistic and he just kept clapping saying it was the "best day ever" I hope I can attach some pics somewhere! Thank you, again!! Oh yes... the beds were amazing!

Very clean and the staff was friendly. I did not like that they did not have a jacuzzi as other Hampton Inns provide. It was also difficult pulling out onto the highway from the entrance.

The hotel was very clean and well kept. Our room was very clean, we had plenty of hot water, water pressure was great, and it was very quiet. The pool and gym were both very clean, plenty of towels, equipment in working order, etc. The breakfast had plenty of options for every type of diet/taste and far exceeded our expectations. The complementary dog treats, waters and coffee were a great added touch. Staff was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the area.
