Everything exceeded expectation and value was excellent Location ideal and easy to reach Close to the centre but none of the noise. Supremely quiet Room size large, bed comfortable and king size Bathroom large, walk-in shower and a standalone, large bath. Excellent. Kitchenette looked very well equipped but did not use Breakfast very decent and the breakfast room was very pleasant. No crowding or queuing. Staff very friendly at all times. The breakfast staff could not have been more helpful or pleasant. Clean in all areas. Even enabled early check-in (with a smile) as the room was ready. Such a bonus

Very good central hotel conveniently located next to the station but without the noise you might expect. Rooms are spacious, a nice temperature and excellent shower. Quality toiletries, iron, ironing board and a very well equipped kitchenette. Bed was crisp, clean, comfortable and plenty of usb ports to stay charged. Downstairs in the lobby there’s plenty to keep you fed and hydrated if you need to buy some food or refreshments. Breakfast is buffet style with full English, continental or grab and go if you’re in a hurry. Staff are very helpful. Directions from the station on google maps is strange so ignore those and take the exit to the far left and down the steps and hotel entrance is on the right

Welcoming from opening the door 🚪,staff very friendly and helpful, beautiful decor, spotlessly clean. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, complimentary breakfast better than expected. Location perfect, our 2 night stay was amazing. Highly recommended, will definitely be back 👌

I loved this place. My room was amazing, the bed was so comfortable, the shower was fantastic, I loved the little kitchenette and the amenities, the breakfast buffet was good; it was a nice way to start the day. Its close to the train station so very convenient. Staff are friendly & helpful, the mini shop in the reception was useful. I'd definitely stay again.

I had a great four day stay at Drakes Hotel in late March 2023, with a sea view room. I was impressed with everything, from the friendly and very helpful staff, to the comfortable, clean, and stylish room. Every detail was thought of, and though I had a smaller room, the thoughtful design and amenities made it perfect for me. As well, on the days I didn't have the housekeeping staff in, they kindly left a package with additional supplies like the complimentary sparkling water and a fresh bathrobe, etc. Located in Kemptown, there's plenty to do and see, and well located. It's not far from Brighton Pier or from the pubs, cafes and shops of St James' Street, and onto the Laines and North Laines. Also, for the artists, there's the Black Dove Pub around the corner from the hotel for drop in life drawing classes. Seeing the street art and murals around Brighton was a big highlight, along with the many contemporary art galleries. Although a lot of the guests are couples, I felt very welcome even as a solo traveller and well cared for. Breakfast was delicious and a good selection of options. I would definitely recommend staying at Drakes and will do so again when I'm next in Brighton.

The hotel staff were supremely helpful and friendly, they let us check in an hour early upon arrival, we had gone for Easter weekend for my wife’s birthday, to which she was greeted with rose petals on the bed and a birthday card! On Easter Sunday, on our way out for the day, we opened our door to a lovely surprise of an Easter egg and came back to a refreshed room with fresh sheets, made bed and refreshed tea/coffee station, the little details made the trip so very memorable and Drakes will now be my first choice when coming back to Brighton. Lovely clean hotel in close proximity to Brighton sea front and town. The staff were so helpful and friendly, breakfast was tasty and bar was cosy. Something to note is that most rooms are only accessible by stairs

I had such a wonderful stay at Drakes. The hotel is clean, you can control the room temperature, I didn’t hear any noise and slept through the night, the staff were all really friendly (even drawing out a map of recommended places to visit) and amazing views of the sea. It was the perfect tonic for the quiet weekend that I needed, I left feeling refreshed. I would highly recommend Drakes and hope to return soon.

The Hotel was in the perfect position with lots of amenities and walkable to most locations. The #1 room was so beautiful! It had a fee stair cases but easily accessible, two big windows sea view windows with comfy chairs to read by. The bedding had the best pillows and felt very decadent. Bring your hair net because the rain shower was straight overhead. Staff was excellent and bar was awesome! Will come again!

I stayed in the New York Penthouse. It was much larger than I was expecting and a lovely room. There was a jacuzzi bath, which I hadn't realised - a fantastic addition. Water, tea, coffee and biscuits were provided in the room. The bed was large and comfortable. The breakfast is at The Charm hotel a couple of doors up the road. The breakfast was lovely and the breakfast room is beautifully decorated. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I would recommend the hotel and would stay again.

From the moment we arrived, everything was just wonderful. The room was beautifully decorated—charming wallpaper, tasteful furniture, and a lovely sitting area that made it feel extra cozy. The attention to detail really made it feel like a home away from home. One of the highlights was definitely waking up to that stunning sea view—absolutely breathtaking! We could see the pier from our window, which made mornings feel extra special. The room was spotless, the bed super comfy, and we appreciated the little touches like the tea station and fresh flowers. Everything felt clean, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. A very special thank you to Marta, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cared about our comfort. You can tell she takes real pride in her work—her warm energy made all the difference! Highly, highly recommend this place if you're looking for a relaxing, stylish stay with amazing views and fantastic service. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We stayed in the New York penthouse suite - beautifully appointed and very clean & comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and fresh, and the room was warm and comfortable, along with very comfortable beds and seating. (Just be warned: it's on the second floor and access is by stairs only). We need the exercise, so it was all good. View of everywhere around was also good. Breakfast a couple of doors down was also very pleasant - plenty of options and nicely cooked. The staff in both sections were AMAZING. Very polite, professional and extremely welcoming and helpful. Made for a delightful stay.

This is a charming little hotel located in a terraced house in a central location in Brighton, approx 10min walk from the centre/pier. The building itself and the room are nothing fancy (some of it slightly outdated, e.g. bathroom, windows/curtains) but it is very good value for money and more than I expected for the price I paid (63 pounds/ 100 Euro per night). All staff I met (reception and breakfast) were exceptionally friendly, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast is served in a sister hotel two doors up the road. The food available/ buffet was exceptional, very fresh, and offered a variety of hot and cold food. The location of the hotel is good, approx. 25min walk from the train station, 10 from the centre, and right next to the beach. The location is quiet, but there are plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops nearby.

Everything - it was the best hotel we’ve stayed in in a while. The room was beautiful, so clean and cosy. The bed was so comfortable and the room was welcoming with lovely touches. Although we didn’t have a huge room, there was more than enough room and the bathroom was big in comparison with a large shower and spacious area. The staff were really helpful and friendly and let us leave our bags in left luggage prior to use checking in and after us checking out which was so helpful. We had previously booked into another hotel which turned out to be not very nice and we had to check out of due to its poor facilities, so to stay here instead was just what we needed!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at 124 Guesthouse Brighton – it truly exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. Jamie at reception was incredibly welcoming, as was his colleague (a gentleman whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch), and a lovely member of staff kindly helped me carry my bags to the car – which I was especially grateful for as I’m currently heavily pregnant. Their kindness and attentiveness genuinely made a difference. We stayed in a sea view room with a balcony, and it was simply stunning. Every little detail had been thoughtfully considered – from fresh milk in the fridge for tea, to a record player, fresh water in the room, and access to a beautifully stocked pantry for snacks. The overall vibe of the hotel was gorgeous – stylish yet relaxed – and breakfast was delicious and well worth it. We were visiting for an anniversary trip, and the experience couldn’t have been more perfect. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

The location is incredible. The style of the hotel is absolute perfection, every detail feels thoughtfully curated. I especially loved the subtle nods to Brighton throughout; they added such a unique, local charm. The furniture, beds, and bedding were all divine. It was stylish, comfortable, and luxurious. It’s clear a lot of care has gone into creating a beautiful and memorable stay for every guest. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed warmly by the exceptional front of house team, who guided us seamlessly through our stay. Arriving early, we enjoyed a cocktail on the terrace, expertly recommended and crafted by a wonderful bartender. It’s clear that whoever is hiring and training the team is doing an incredible job; the staff genuinely seem to love what they do, and the attention to detail is world class. The complimentary guest pantry was a lovely touch and such a treat. With fantastic food, drinks, and service, plus unbeatable sea views, this hotel truly offers the perfect stay.

This is a comfortable and stylish seafront hotel where the staff are really friendly and helpful. Nice bar and comfortable terrace by the street. The restaurant was able to accommodate our group of 6 at short notice for dinner and the food and service was outstanding.

Beautifully presented , staff were amazing. Friendly, welcoming and helpful.. lovely atmosphere from entrance to departure.. very comfortable beds, luxurious bathroom, fantastic tea/coffee facilities in your room, very light and airy . Location is perfect .. Retro style which made the experience even so impressive..

First off, the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly as can be. My husband and I were unsure of how to plug for the whirlpool bath and one of the staff came down and showed us how to work both that and the shower (overhead rainfall style shower, very nice!) Also I had a lovely drink in the in house bar, a chocolate martini which was divine! The whirlpool bath/jacuzzi was generous in size and completely private and came with tea light candles, a lovely touch. The bed is a super king with down duvet and pillows. Large living area as well with a TV equipped with Netflix and Amazon prime as well as normal television so we never ran out of things to watch! Small private patio as well as a private sauna. Rustic meets modern is the decor and it is such a lovely room, but what really makes this place special even beyond all the comfort you will find yourself able to enjoy is the warmth and friendliness of the staff, they are head and shoulders above the rest, thank you for making our stay as lovely as can be! :)

Stayed for 2 nights for our 29th wedding anniversary.. We were early & had a lovely welcome, because of train strikes someone else had cancelled & we were shown & offered a choice of rooms which we really appreciated.’ Rooms are quirky & all very individual. We had room Usk, right at the top but suited us so well, quiet & a front view. Lovely clean comfy bed, great shower & we even used the in room bath. Toilet & sink were in a rather too small space, much like an airplane loo ! Breakfast was delicious & service first class. We used the bar once for a pre going out drink, it certainly has lots of choice. Love the individuality of this great hotel & the service. Would definitely recommend & hope to return x

Came for our 10yr anniversary night away ( kid free) was wamly welcomed by staff who checked us un and gave key- they said it can be left behind when we leave but I didn't mind carrying it and staff was OK with us taking it Suite - Lovely view, very clean, shampoo/ conditioner shower gels shower caps by bath comfortable bed and great cinema suite ( chair needs replacing as one side clicks and jolts when reclining) was able to use all 3 TVs in apartment. Lots of plug sockets and space Lovely double size shower nclosed around wood features No negatives Staff where very welcoming and asking if we need anything/ are okay Only negative I have is at breakfast, Due to my autism I have a very bland diet due to sensory issued there was nothing alone I could order so I asked for a full English but just sausage beans and toast however was given a 1 sausage and a bowl of beans ( the same as my parter who had everything on the full English) I thought removing most of the items a couple more of my requested items would be added to the plate Great stay

I cannot rate place high enough. What a find tucked away, yet in an amazing position in Brighton where you are in walking distance to everything! This hotel is beautiful made lovlier by the extra touches. Everything has been thought of including gorgeous extras from L’Occitane and robes down to a cofffee machine. This sounds standard but it’s not. It’s beautiful and a breath of fresh air from your big standard hotel. There is a gorgeous eclectic vibe to this place and all the rooms are different. We stayed in the Quaille which is on 2 floors and boasts a cinema room. Breakfast is so good, staff are friendly and attentive. Cocktails at the bar are so lovely. Everything is to love. To stay here is a must and we will definitely return. Thank you very much team Una!

Fabulous hotel which is spotlessly clean and decorated impeccably. It is the perfect mixture of period charm together with all the modern conveniences you could need. A variety of teas, coffee Nespresso machine, hot chocolate, biscuits and water are supplied and replenished daily. There is a large TV which includes Netflix, Alexa, good WiFi, a safe and small fridge. The beds and pillows are super comfy and the bathroom is very modern with a great shower. Steve gave us a very warm welcome and was very helpful. The hotel is ideally situated just up the street from the seafront and within a few minutes walk of restaurants and bars and about a 10 - 15 minute walk to the town centre. We would highly recommend Red Brighton Blue and would definitely stay again if visiting Brighton in the future. Thank you Steve and Peter, there is nothing you could improve on - absolutely perfect!

Peter and Steve were very warm and welcoming and marked places of interest on the map along with directing me to their online guide of things to do and places to eat. My room was spotless and charming with a comfortable bed and pillows, great shower, cable channels, and some free beverages and yummy snacks. The weather was cold and rainy so I spent a lot of time in my cozy room! I had to take a lot of stairs to get to my room on the upper floor, but they were very nice to help me with my heavy luggage. Staff is friendly and helpful, too! This lovely hotel is on a quiet street and within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, cafes, and beachfront. Highly recommend.

arrived at the property and the owner was waiting for us to arrive. Couldn't have been more helpful, assisted us with luggage, helped my partner with directions of where to park our car. we went to the room which was beautiful, clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. we got changed and went out for dinner, as we left the owner gave us lots of suggestions of places to eat and drink locally and was full of helpful information on the local area, he gave us lots of suggestions for places to visit the following day and nice places to go for breakfast the following morning. The bed was extremely comfortable everything was spotlessly clean and the owner couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back for a stay here again this year. :-)

Absolutely spotless, both owners and cleaners were very friendly. Modern and lovely room. Shower was also very nice. Excellent complimentary items such as, chocolate, posh shampoo. Room had a mini fridge, fan, hairdryer, safe and even an espresso machine! I felt very safe with multiple locked doors needing a key card to get into. Good location given the price also! Beds and pillows were really lovely, big Tv and our room had a sea view to the side with two comfy chairs also… can’t wait to be back! One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at given the reasonable price.

Comfortable bed with quality bedding & pillows. Mini fridge well stocked with water, milk. Complimentary chocolates. Delicious cooked/continental breakfast. Few minutes walk to shops/restaurants. Great location, 5 minute walk to Brighton Pier.

Wonderful B & B with wonderful hosts Richard & Simon who couldn't do enough for you. We stayed in the Garden Room, facilities were excellent, loved the room and jacuzzi bath. It's the little things that made all the different, fresh milk in the fridge, coffee machine, chocolates. Breakfast the two days we stayed was exceptional. This will be our go too place now when staying in Brighton and we can't wait for our next visit.

I could not have had a better stay at Brightonwave. It's moments away from the pier, but the street was very peaceful and quiet, even on a busy Friday and Saturday night. l had a lovely warm welcome when I arrived, and when I got to my room I was very happy. I had the executive single room, and although this obviously meant less room, I was very impressed with how well they utilised it. Very clean and it had a comfortable double bed. The 2 litre bottle of water, kettle/teas/coffees, a jar of fun size chocolate bars provided were great touches, as well as a hairdryer, toiletries and an electric shower with good water pressure. The window (which faced the bed) had shutters that block out a lot of light - this was fine for me, but if you're the kind of person that prefers a 'black out' situation to sleep, you might want to bring a sleep mask for added comfort. Normally I don't bother with breakfast, but as I'd read such good things and needed to line my stomach before going to a music festival, I gave it a go....and I'm VERY glad I did. The breakfast was excellent - one of the best breakfast experiences I've had in the UK. Fresh coffee in individually served cafetieres, excellent cooked breakfasts and plenty of choice re: toast toppings, yoghurts and cereals. After I checked out I still had a few hours my before my train - I was welcome to leave my bag and come and collect it whenever I needed. I can't wait to visit Brightonwave again - thanks Richard & Simon :-)

Great location, quiet for sleeping but close to everything. Lovely owners, attentive and friendly but not too much. Lovely breakfast, massive comfy bed, very clean. Lots of little extras, chocolate, plenty of tea/coffee, water. Little fridge in room, hairdryer, iron (even ironing water!) nice towels, good strong shower. Spacious room. Couldn’t ask for more really. Will definitely stay again. Very comfortable and hassle free.

We had a wonderful visit to Brighton, and we thoroughly enjoyed staying at Brightonwave. We had a comfortable, very clean, and quiet double room, and the hotel is extremely well located -- a 10 minute bus ride from the train station and a very short walk to the Royal Pavilion; the Brighton Pier and other restaurants and attractions along the beach; the Lanes with all of its vibrant restaurants and shops, and other areas of interest. Richard and Simon were warm, welcoming, and gracious hosts. Their breakfast was superb (best cup of coffee we had in England), but even more, we enjoyed just chatting with them about Brighton, England, and things in general. We can recommend this property for a visit to Brighton.

The owners are extremely helpful and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying the room. The room was clean, comfortable and quite spacious, the bathroom was very clean and the shower was nice and hot! Communication prior to staying was excellent and Tony was great explaining everything to us. Location was quite central and only took around 10-15minutes to walk to the centre of Brighton. Snooze offers 10% off at egg and spoon Cafe which was very welcoming and much needed after a night out in the centre, it was just down the road from the hotel. Parking is a little limited but not expensive compared to other areas. We would definitely recommend staying here! We will be coming again!

The room was amazing with such a comfortable bed. Great size shower with lovely toiletries provided. The owners are super friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. There's a great pub within a few minutes walking distance that does amazing food. Gorgeous place for breakfast, which is able to be ordered directly to your room. We also found a stunning little dessert place up a side street. The hotel is just up the road from the beach and a short drive/bus/taxi from the centre of town. Highly recommended and will be staying again!

Snooze is a superb place to stay in Brighton. The property is easy to find, inside it's beautifully decorated with lots of 70's memorabilia, we enjoyed looking at it all. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, a nice sized bathroom, there is a kettle for making tea and coffee plus bottles of water. Paul one of the owners was very helpful, as he wasn't going to be around when we arrived, he called and gave us very clear instructions on how to get in, plus he left the parking permit on the bed so we could park in the nearby streets, finding a space can be an issue but there are quite a few roads to choose from, check the map that is provided in the room. As no breakfast is provided you can have breakfast delivered from a local cafe - the 'Egg and Spoon' - as it's a very short walk we went to the cafe and got a discount by showing the Snooze business card. Snooze is in a great location, only a short walk to the Beach, Pier, Aquarium and The Lanes. Thank you Paul and Tony we will definitely stay again when we next visit Brighton.

What a beautiful gem! Everything is just fab❤️ Starting from the stairs outside, to the building, entrance area, decor, wall decorations, the sunny terrace up to the room: such a welcoming, warm and cozy place! We booked the Bubble Suite for our anniversary. Every area of the townhouse was curated and beautifully decorated. Our suite was gorgeous, at the top floor, with a balcony and view from both sides. The details of the room made all the difference and the furniture made the room very upscale. Clean and provided all the necessities. The location was perfect 20mins walking away from the central station and many shops, cafes and restaurants around. Just a breath a way from the seafront. The staff was friendly and very accommodating and service was perfect. We ordered room service breakfast, which was very tasty and fresh. Definitely recommend and would go back again.

Staff very welcoming. Room very clean and comfortable with useful mini fridge and tea, coffee, cookies fresh milk, plus free bottles of still & sparkling water in the fridge. Facility to top up water and beverages near reception. Had chaise longue in my room by the window with view to the sea. Bed very comfortable. Spacious bathroom with monsoon shower and lovely deep bath. Plenty of power sockets in room. It was quite warm during my stay so there was a floor standing fan which was very effective. Good choice for breakfast and decent portion size. Very tasty too!

We love Brighton and visit 3-4 times a year, totally saddened that we have never come across Square Townhouse before. This place is amazing. So much so, I've already booked another stay for my hubbies birthday in March Rooms are cosy, very modern, and very clean. Love that you are able to top up your own bottles of water, which is readily available for guests. Great well stocked residents bar. Breakfast was delicious. Staff, very friendly. Perfect location, with great bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Highly recommend Square Townhouse.

Perfect location in the heart of Kemp Town. But still very quiet and relaxing. My room was 'spotlessly clean' spacious and comfortable and had all the facilities a traveler could need. The bed was super comfortable and even though my room was at the back of the hotel I had a lovely view. All the staff and the owner were just lovely and helpful. Special thanks to Marcus from the front of house team. What a brilliant, lovely, attentive and helpful guy he is.

Loved the location and the fact that you could see the sea from the window in our room. The room was lovely and so clean! Had two great night’s sleep in very comfy bed. Shower was large which was great for husband, as showers often too small. The room had tea facilities and offered fresh milk in the fridge, a big plus rather than long life pods. Coffee machine very good too. Lovely sitting on comfy chairs at table in room looking out on the view with a sea breeze with a cup of tea. Breakfast was delicious and generous portions, served by lovely man, sorry forgot name! Both staff we met were very helpful and pleasant. You would enjoy your stay for sure and I will definitely return here again.

Beautiful almost retro-chic decor, comfortable bed, great blackout curtains and absolutely stunning bathroom! Lovely window seat which, whilst the sea view is only a glimpse, was a nice relaxing treat and place to unwind in the evening facing the seafront and just chilling out, away from the hustle & bustle of the town centre!! The window seat, decor and bathroom (& rain shower) were my favourite things :) We stayed in room 7. The lady that greeted us on check-in (sorry can't remember her name) was very welcoming and personable and seemed to take a genuine interest in where we were going to eat and what plans we had, which I thought was a lovely touch as some places you stay they barely interact or it's very fake. It's a lovely little hotel (almost a hidden gem I felt) with a more intimate feel than large chains, with what seemed like a nice bar downstairs too (we didn't use it on our stay other than to order drinks for our room). It's in a great central location within walking distance of pretty much everything & only a few blocks from the beach, yet much to my surprise very quiet for Brighton (I am a poor sleeper and it was peaceful)!! We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Comfy beds, hot shower, plenty of teas, coffees etc. Perfect location in a quiet street on the edge of Hove, easy walking distance to everything, a few hundred yards from the beach and in a lovely neighbourhood of boutique shops and exceptional cafes and restaurants - Oef, Botanique, Six, The Gin Tub, Fourth and Church, YouJuice, Muse.......The room is above a lovely friendly small bar but this should not put you off - we had a nice, quiet stay with no noise at all after closing time and no noise from other rooms or from outside which is otherwise residential. Check in was easy and they stored our bags for us on our day of check out. Would highly recommend!

We visited Brighton for our 1 year anniversary. The Southern Belle looked perfect for the short time we were staying they didn't dissapoint us at all! They kindly gave us a free upgrade on our room and there was even a lovely card on our bed when we arrived offering us a free drink at the bar. It was a really sweet touch. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the clientele are brilliant and the food is amazing. The rooms are stunning and beautifully decorated, the beds are very comfortable, a real home from home feel. Breakfast was included with the cost of the room too, we were expecting youre bog standard full english but to our delight they offered a grilled breakfast, poached eggs on sourdough, eggs royale/ beendict, french crumpets which looked incredible and vegan options too, as well as teas and coffees! Honestly we can't recommend this place enough. We'll definitely be coming back in the near future. Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable ❤️

I genuinely liked almost everything. The staff were exceptionally helpful – the host even lent me an EU–UK adapter. Any time I had a question or request, it was quickly sorted out. I especially enjoyed the live music evenings and the overall atmosphere. Our room had a partial sea view, and there was a cosy window seat where you could lie down and take it all in. The setting was very artistic – just like the whole town. We stayed on the third floor, so the bar downstairs wasn’t an issue at all – it was easy to get a good night’s sleep. They even provided earplugs, and the room was cleaned daily. Everything was close by, with a perfect location overall. Breakfast was available from the bar's breakfast menu, with plenty of options to choose from – including classic full English and vegan-friendly dishes. If you're into British vintage style, this hotel will definitely be up your alley.

Lovely boutique hotel seconds from the seafront! A 20 minute walk from the station or to the lanes and it's right by the BA i360 viewing tower. The hotel, room and the bar were all spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Lovely little pub on the ground floor. The only negatives we experienced was the one window in the room only opened a small way and the room was very hot at night, but a fan is supplied so that was helpful. Unfortunately breakfast was a bit of a disaster, we waited at least 45 minutes and then my breakfast was mistakenly given to another customer, when it did finally arrive my husband had long finished eating his! Other then that, it's a great boutique hotel, hopefully the breakfast issue was just a 'one off' and we wouldn't experience it again.

My room was small but comfortable and had everything I needed. Bathroom was very clean and shower had good hot water and pressure. Great tea making facilities and coffee pod machine - brilliant. Vicky in reception/breakfast room extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast room faced the ocean - lovely setting. Food was a varied menu and fresh - my porridge was delicious. And they had milk alternatives without pre-ordering.

The Single Bed Room was really cozy. The bed was super comfortable and the room is well equiped with all the necessary things you need. The breakfast is a nice buffet and you can also order breakfast menus a la card. The Location of the hotel is perfect, directly to the beach and only 10 min walk to the central places. As my stay in Brighton didnt went as expected, due to some illness, the staff at the hotel was really nice and helpful in this situation. Thank you again for you help and understanding! I really appreciated it. I can highly recomend this Hotel!

We loved the room! Very spacious, clean and beautiful colours. Bathroom had a big shower and also a bath! The view at floor 3 where the room was at was just amazing! Loved it so much. The location is so so perfect, literally door step with the sea. There can be good hotels around probably like chains, but this property it was just amazing! I would without a doubt book again and only here whenever visiting Brighton. Breakfast was so tasty and lots of choices.

I had a big, clean and extremely comfortable room with a view to the sea, perfect! The bed was huge as was the tv, great shower too. The breakfast room was lovely and bright, same view, nicely cooked food with plenty on offer. Vicki is a friendly, helpful manager, nothing was too much trouble, she's lovely. I was helped with my bags by 2 affable guys, I couldn't recommend this charming stay highly enough.

Set in a great location for access to the beach, Pavilion and the Lanes, shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel is clean and comfortable and each room is individually styled with quirky and interesting touches. We stayed in room 3 and was very happy with our choice. Tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water provided and an IPad was also available. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and make you feel very comfortable as soon as you arrive. Breakfast was outstanding. Cooked to order in the kitchen/diner and beautifully presented. Alternatives to the full English were catered for too. Overall, an excellent choice for our 2 nights in Brighton and I would definitely choose The Twenty One again for another visit.

So many plus points: we received a lovely, friendly welcome. The Twenty One is conveniently located for the beach, seafront entertainment, shops, bars and restaurants without being too close (fairly quiet street with little through traffic and it’s associated noise). The decor is quirky and interesting. Our room was a great size with all the facilities we needed, including a comfy bed, quality bedding, decent size tv, blind/curtain combination keeping out the light overnight, good temperature, handy fridge etc. We had a great breakfast - couldn’t fault it! The bathroom was a little tired but adequate. The shower made some interesting noises in its attempt to provide an adequate flow of water. We didn’t want a bath but it was out of the question anyway (no bath plug), although I’m confident one would have been provided if we’d asked. Steep stairs may cause problems for some. A shortage of nearby parking spaces caused problems for us, but we were eventually very lucky when one became available immediately outside the front door. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

The hotel owner, Susie, was very welcoming and helpful. I had an issue with my arrival time and although she was due to be unavailable, she made sure that she was around when I arrived at the hotel. The breakfast was delicious and the environment was so cosy and comfortable with some very quirky accessories :) The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable.

The location was great - very quiet but with easy reach of everything. The parking system was very easy to use and we luckily got a parking spot in the same road thanks to Suzie. Our room was lovely, very clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable . The shower was a good size and all toiletries were provided. There was a mini fridge if you wanted to store anything and water tea and coffee was provided. There was a tv and even a tablet to use. Breakfast was lovely and lots of it. Suzie took our order the day before and we opted for full English. The bacon was real thick bacon, sausages were not cheap rubbish, fried eggs, real large mushrooms, hash browns, beans and really tasty grilled tomatoes. Toast, orange juice and hot drinks finished it off. But I think you could choose other options. The dining room was very quirky and homely. Great value for money. All in all a great stay and we would definitely stay here again.

A really relaxing and enjoyable stay. The communication from host was very good and made me feel totally welcome - Suzie is such kind and thoughtful host. The room was perfect for what I needed, calming and spotless with a touch of luxury. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding, easily one of the best breakfasts I've had in Brighton let alone at a bnb. The building is also a gorgeous space throughout, and felt really safe. Lots of places to park if you are travelling by car. Cannot wait to return hopefully soon.

Cozy hotel centrally located by the beach in Brighton. Nice breakfast room, with a very good breakfast and coffee. The staff was very friendly. We had booked a King suite (room 19), but it was not worth the extra money. The room was large and bright, clean and with a wide bed. The description says that the room has a Nespresso machine and exclusive duvets and pillows in down, but this is not true. It is not down and the coffee machine is not from Nespresso. I think all the rooms have the possibility to make coffee with a kettle. "Luxury beverage tray" is two biscuits, tea, coffee and a small bottle of still water. The mini bar is empty. The only difference between the Luxury double room and King suite is the Krups coffee machine and a larger bed. It should not be called a suite when there are no better facilities than in the luxury rooms. There should have been a bathrobe and better/more products in the bathroom, for example. And some chairs or a sofa to sit on (the two chairs must be used to our clothes and things) But the hotel is nice, clean and the staff is very friendly. Sentral located by the sea.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Charm Brighton. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so warm and welcoming—they really went out of their way to make us feel at home. They even helped us with parking and made sure everything was set up perfectly for our room. The room itself was beautiful—immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was one of the comfiest we’ve ever slept in, and we loved the little touches like the luxurious bath products and fluffy towels. We had a partial sea view, which made it even more special to wake up to. Breakfast was a real highlight—fresh, generous, and with something for everyone. The made-to-order options were delicious, and the coffee machine was definitely put to good use! The location was ideal—quiet enough to relax, but just a short stroll from the beach, the Lanes, and all the shops and restaurants. We also made time to enjoy the spa, which felt like such a treat. The hot tub was perfect for unwinding after a day out, and the whole space felt very calming and well-kept. It’s a rare find to have somewhere so stylish yet so personal and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back!

The Charm Boutique is so well situated and room 5 has a lovely sea view from the window seat. Central to the beach and town and a parking token for £15 can be purchased for parking anywhere in zone C. Room was cosy and incredibly clean smelling fresh with very comfortable bed. Breakfast was scrumptious with all choices and staff very attentive and couldn’t do enough. Big shout out to the exceptional warm greeting from Christine on Front of House who had exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, warm and professional welcome. She was amazing! Highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic hotel, with a warm welcome and exceptional friendly and hardworking staff. Breakfast was delicious with an excellent choice of hot and cold items and the poached eggs I requested were perfect. Would also recommend the Eggs Benedict that are available at the weekend. The hotel and room was very clean, the room was lovely with such a comfortable bed. Warm, cosy bathroom with lovely body/hair products. Superb location, close to the pier which is fantastic for the starling murmuration at dusk. Shops and restaurants to suit everyone and every budget and we can recommend the Greek and Indian restaurant a few minutes walk from the hotel, and The Mucky Duck pub.Just a wonderful place to stay and we would love to return someday (but a long way from Aberdeen 😔) Highly recommend this hotel. The staff were exceptional, they upgraded our room as it was our anniversary and went to lots of effort to make sure we had a lovely time. We had rose petals on the bed, a sea view premium room and even a card from the team. The night porter is also friendly and very helpful. Our room was cosy with a huge comfortable bed and a window seat that we could view the pier from. There was a tv with lots of channels including Netflix and a big table that my partner could work from. We had free hot drinks and biscuits provided and the room was much bigger than I expected when booking. We had full control of the radiators in our room and there was air conditioning too! Breakfast in the morning was fantastic. There was continental and cooked on offer with plenty of coffees, teas and juices. They had pastries and they even had a cheese board! Everything exceeded our expectations, including the outside decor with lots of lights and a lovely position near the sea and on a green space. We would recommend this hotel to everyone and we will definitely come back.

We stayed at Q Square supercity in Brighton from 26th to 30th August this year. As I have a health condition I contacted the hotel prior to our arrival and I made several requests. When we got to our apartment I was very pleased to find out that all my requests had been fulfilled. The apartment was spotless and extremely clean. The housekeeping team are obviously doing an outstanding job. The receptionists were polite, welcoming and helpful. The apartment had everything you need but I would have loved to find a teapot there 🙂. The hotel is right in the city centre and a short walk to the beach. We had a small balcony with a sea view. Next time we stay there I would love if they allocate for us an apartment on the very top floor as the view must be fantastic up there. We had a great time. Charles and Anthony

Excelent location, in central Brighton where you can find everything. Although the property is located on central area, it is in a quiet street. Shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bars. It is located on the main square (Churcill Square, in front of the main mall), 10 minutes walking from the sea, same amount of time from train station, and the lanes. Really easy to reach out the property. All the front-desk men were amazing as well as the maintanance staff. Welcome snacks. Coffee, tea, and laundry soap available all the time. Laundry machine inside the apartament. Very clean and new apartament. Not cheap, but you pay what it worths, considering other famous hotels (and its locations).

The place was smack bang in the centre of the shopping centre. Around 5 - 10 mins walk from the beach. It was warm, clean and fully equipped to self catering a week in Brighton. The sofa was not very comfortable but we managed to make ourselves comfy on the bed which was very nice! There was an issue where the staff had to enter our room briefly but they gave us a bottle of wine to compensate. Also on Xmas day they gave us some complimentary chocolate which was delicious! Staff were friendly and helpful and everything was stylish and clean.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The apartment was very comfortable, clean, quiet and had everything you needed, even a few staple supplies to keep you going for a few days. Great central location to all the key sights and attractions. A thoroughly enjoyable stay for our first visit.

We stayed in a small double room and it had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Conveniently located, cosy, clean, comfortable, and quiet with loads of personality. The room had a mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities (including fresh milk) and snacks. The guesthouse is located on a quiet street but less than a 5 minute walk from the waterfront and about 10 minutes from the Brighton Pier and Royal Pavillion. Within a 10 minute walk there is a great range of local and international food options and shops. Antony was a lovely host who prepared a delicious breakfast every morning. We enjoyed the tea/coffee/orange juice, fresh fruits and muesli with yoghurt, cheeses and spreads, and freshly made-to-order scrambled eggs/omelette with croissants. We would definitely stay again!

The welcoming it was very clean Anthony was a great host, giving information how to get around seeing all the great places my room was spotless. The bed was so comfortable all the little things was there hairdryer, iron plus board, teas and coffee, biscuits. Even a fridge with milk and fresh water. shower was very clean. Good location, out of the main thrust but just a short walk to the centre and to the beach. I didn't have breakfast but it did smell good! The bed was luxurious and very comfortable. I really liked the thoughtful touches like the Espresso coffee machine, fresh milk and plenty of fresh water in the fridge. Mirrors in the right places and iron and hairdryer in the room. Very considerate and helpful host. Lovely décor and a cuddly giraffe for company. I have already recommended to my friends.

Diego, welcomed us and directed us to the best parking! Managed a space outside £10 for 24hrs. (Parking is a mare, but that’s not the hotels fault! It’s Brighton and is busy especially on a Saturday when we arrived). Diego showed us to our room (prince regent). Stunning, with a welcome prosecco drink each, chocolates and a decanter of Sherry! Coffee maker with more cakes and biscuits. Diego explained the breakfast menu for the morning! The room was spotlessly clean. The on-suite shower room was spacious and with little bottles of shampoo, shower gel, soap extra. Lots of little added extras!! The bed was very comfortable too. There will be creaks from the floor boards and noise from other rooms! It’s a 200yr old building, your going to get this!! Luckily your provided ear plugs!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Breakfast was outstanding- do not miss this! We were full up until late afternoon x well done Diego and Wayne you have a fab place to stay!! Next time we book,it will be for longer! Thankyou oh just to say there was some noise from late night revellers! Annoying yes! But NOT the owners issue!!

Wayne was very welcoming on our arrival and we were able to check in before 3pm. Wayne gave advice re parking and we were able to pay him directly for a permit and parked In next road after dropping off bags. Room was compact but had everything you need for a more than comfortable stay. Thoughtful extra touches such as cakes in room , bottles of water, Sherry decanter , chocs on pillow, ear plugs, robes and music playing on arrival made this b&b stand out from any others I have stayed in and were much appreciated. Our toilet facilities were on landing below which was advised on website , although this was not a problem and facilities were not shared I would opt for an en-suite room if I returned but this is just a personal preference. Bed and bedding were very comfy , room was spotlessly clean (as was the rest of the property) and it was peaceful. Breakfast was amazing and provided in lovely breakfast room. Choice was vast and food was great quality . This is a really lovely b&b and I would have no hesitation in returning if I retur to Brighton .

Really lovely guesthouse. Welcoming and warm staff, spotlessly clean, great facilities, right on the front and beautiful views from the front rooms. Great location for exploring. Quiet considering the location. Really good breakfast options, served until 10 too. There's no cooked breakfast but options available are perfect for us. Boiled eggs, cereal, yoghurt and dried fruits and nuts, fresh fruit salads every day, all manner of continental options, breads cheeses, meats, salmon, crispbread, breakfast bars, etc etc. Croissants and pain au chocolat. All dietary requirements catered for too. Fruit juices, all types of teas, and lovely coffee. My favourite place to stay in Brighton. Highly recommended.

Perfect location, near to the i360 and beach. The people were so welcoming and the building very clean, light and spacious. Breakfast was amazing, continental style and everything so fresh and wonderfully presented. We had boiled eggs, smoked salmon, hams, cheeses, Mackerel, pastries, cereals, yoghurt, fruit - too much to list but was so good, you'll never want another full English again! The bedroom was comfy and clean, with wardrobe and drawers, bathroom spotless. We have found our favourite Brighton place to stay.

Lovely old building. Staff member who met us was really friendly and helpful. Room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The wardrobe even had extra blankets, hot water bottles, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and a large fan if we needed them. Lovely old fireplace was a feature of the room. Not much of a view from our window but very quiet and slept very well. Plenty of tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room. Booking in time from 2pm was helpful and checking out time up to 11am gave us plenty of time and not feel hurried. Lots of choice for a continental breakfast - we opted for fruit, toast, meats, cheese, croissants. Set us up for our second day of exploring and shopping. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend Brighton House Guest House for a reasonably priced hotel near the seafront in the heart of Brighton.

Beautiful place and excellent location. Carl was an excellent host, authentically welcoming, caring, warm, helpful, fun, simply excellent. The rest of the team was very kind and welcoming too, very attentive and helpful. Facilities were good (everything you might need including hairdryer, ironing board and iron all there and handy - bed was comfortable, location and views from balcony were lovely. I was also pleasantly surprised and grateful the central heating was on and available, easily adjustable for my room - as, despite being warm September days, the nights were pretty cold- so it was wonderful I could adjust room temperature at night time as needed.

The staff were all very attentive and helpful especially Karl in reception and the ladies serving breakfast. The room was really clean, spacious and had everything we needed from tea and coffee facilities to an iron and ironing board as well as a very welcome fan for hot weather. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was quiet even though it was situated on the front overlooking the square. The hotel was very convenient to the sea front as well as restaurants and shops

Wonderful shower well equipped with all that we needed. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of choice, catering for all tastes. We had a great stay and would definitely return.

Very modern, welcoming. Clean Good location. Staff very helpful. Delphi, Anna, Sam were friendly welcoming and helpful. Another guy on reception I didn’t get his name was really friendly too. Ordered balloons from a company but they forgot to deliver the sweets etc. Delphi organised brownies with ice cream to be sent to our room - complimentary. Even though it wasn’t their fault.

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel which is just a year old. The buffet-style breakfast had everything you could possibly want, with fresh food being added right until the end of the breakfast sitting, which ended at 11am. I found this hotel a perfect base for exploring Brighton City Centre and is also within a reasonable walking distance of Hove, where I enjoyed watching some cricket at Sussex County Cricket Club. Walking along the seafront is great fun not just for the fresh sea air but also for checking out a range of tourist attractions such as the 'upside down house'.

I stayed at this hotel in the middle of August. All the staff were very friendly. Check in I had to wait for a short period of time – was offered a complimentary drink. The bedroom was very nice. Lovely complimentary tea and biscuits. Spotless room. Room was spotless. All staff who work in this hotel were very helpful and friendly. I loved this hotel. Breakfast something for everyone. Slept well. Excellent location. Loved the security at the hotel felt very safe here. Can’t wait to return.

Lee, the owner, was helpful and adapted to my needs. I could even do an early check in. Thank you so much, Lee. The room is big with a lot of light and everything needed. The location is perfect. I could see the beach from my window and heard the seagulls. I loved it. Close by there are nice coffee places, pubs, restaurants (special recommendations for Purezza - delicious vegan pizza, Bagelman - tasty bagels and Leman tea room - tea and scone in a British atmosphere), bus stops, beach, Brighton Pier... I feel safe in the neighborhood and the people in Brighton are really friendly. For people who like and can walk, it is totally easy to go everywhere by walking.

Perfect location for the seafront, pier and city centre. Amenities all very close. Quiet, very clean Lee was very friendly and helpful. Good price compared to other hotels in the area although no breakfast facilities. Plenty of tea and coffee. Room cleaned and bed changed every day. Would recommend and will return.

We really enjoyed staying in the Marina hotel. Super clean (I mean really spotless - I’m picky on cleanliness)! The bed was huge (180cm large) and comfortable. Room was nicely decorated, with a side view on the sea. There was no breakfast but it was no bother at all: in the room there is a kettle with tea, coffee, biscuits and even little chocolate candies, and there is a common room on the ground floor with a coffee and tea machine. And right down the building a nice coffee and breakfast place! I would come back without hesitating.

This was a last minute booking for work with an extra day for pleasure. The rooms were clean, warm and inviting. Bed was comfortable and everything I needed was provided. I had a private bathroom which was also very clean, plenty big enough, and the shower was fab, great temperature and water pressure. They even provided a robe and slippers for going to/from the bathroom. My room had tea and coffee facilities, a steamer and a hairdryer and plenty of hanging space. The tv was mounted with good signal. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful, but equally left me alone to do my own thing. Lovely hotel, brilliant location close to everything but far enough away to not be disturbed. Great value, and I would definitely visit again.

Perfect location, a couple of minutes from the sea, and also from Saint-James Street with lovely cafes and restaurants. Everyone was sooo nice at the hotel, so welcoming and friendly. The room was lovely, comfortable and very clean, it had everything I needed.

Exceptionally clean, bright and cozy but reasonably spacious room. Coffee, tea and biscuits with a kettle were appreciated. It was quiet enough for me to get a very good sleep. The property is very handy to the beach front and not far from the action.
