The rooms were wonderful with fill kitchen and gas fireplace. Great location at the base of the lift. Super friendly staff. Great rooftop jacuzzi that you reserve for 40 minutes. We loved the coffee service in the lobby and they provided free detergent for the laundry.

Had a great stay at the Sundial! The rooms were spotless and we got a lot of use out of the kitchen space and the hottub. We were there for short engagement getaway and guest services helped make the stay even better. We'll definitely be coming back.

Stayed at the pacific rim for 3 nights last week with my husband. We had a harbour/city view room on the 18th floor. Room was lovely - large bathroom with a big bath tub and rainfall shower, comfy bed and amazing views. The cleaners were very polite and friendly and did a great job. We also found the reception staff, concierge and doormen were excellent. A massive perk is the complimentary car they provide to take guests anywhere downtown - we’ve not had this at a hotel before and it was amazing. The reason I have knocked one star off is due to the food and spa. We decided to have breakfast at the hotel on our first morning and found it to be very average. A small glass of orange juice, a coffee, an eggs Benedict and a cooked breakfast came to over $90 and the quality did not match the price. I feel the continental breakfast buffet should be included for this price. We wanted to use the spa and went to look around but we weren’t overly impressed with the facilities - an outdoor pool, a jacuzzi and a sauna. The mens sauna was out of use, but was still charged at the full price (if I remember correctly it was around $55 per person for 3 hours?). Overall a beautiful hotel in a great location, lovely staff, great room, but breakfast and spa could be improved

I booked the room over the phone, the staff were super helpful in arranging everything for us - big thanks to the team for such a smooth and thoughtful reservation process. We had a fantastic stay at Fairmont Pacific Rim. Christina at the front desk helped us during both check-in and check-out, she was so friendly, efficient and really made the whole process feel like easy and welcome. The room was clean and cozy with a lovely fireplace balcony overlooking the pool. We even received little welcome snacks and since it was my birthday, also received a slice of birthday cake. That made the stay feel extra special. We had breakfast and dinner at Botanist, both meals were amazing. The food was delicious and the service was absolutely top-notch; friendly attentive and professional throughout. Also we enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub which made the whole stay feel even more relaxing. Definitely stay at this hotel again

We recently spent five nights at the Fairmont Pacific Rim and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The highlight of our stay was the exceptional staff—everyone we interacted with was warm, professional, and eager to help, which made us feel truly welcomed. Our room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. We especially appreciated the pool and hot tub area, which provided a great space to relax after our daily outings. Parking was also very convenient, with in-and-out privileges that made exploring the city easy. We did ask the concierge about breakfast options one morning and were directed to the in-room tablet for information. Based on what we saw there, it appeared that breakfast was only available via room service during the week and in Botanist on weekends. That may or may not have been the full picture, but we ended up enjoying some great breakfast spots nearby instead. On that note, we visited Giovane Caffè several times and it was excellent—definitely a highlight! Although we didn’t spend time in the lounge or restaurants during our stay (which is unusual for us at a Fairmont), for some reason they felt a bit less approachable than what we've experienced at other locations. Perhaps that’s more about us than the hotel, though. Overall, a fantastic stay, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We stayed at the Fairmont Pacific Rim to celebrate our anniversary, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt elevated — warm, professional service, a seamless check-in, and a room that took our breath away. The harbour and mountain views from our suite made every moment feel special. We spent a relaxing afternoon at Willow Stream Spa, which was truly world-class. The massage was incredible, and the serene spa spaces gave us the quiet escape we were hoping for. It was the perfect way to unwind and celebrate. The hotel surprised us with a thoughtful anniversary touch in the room, which made it all the more memorable. We loved the lobby bar’s live music in the evening — such a great vibe — and the location couldn’t have been better for exploring the city. This trip was exactly what we needed. For a special occasion or a luxury getaway, I can’t recommend Fairmont Pacific Rim enough. We’re already planning our next stay.

We had an amazing experience at Fairmont Pacific Rim. From the moment we checked in, the service stood out. Christian at reception was incredibly kind and helpful, she made us feel welcome and went out of his way to make our stay memorable. Breakfast each morning was a treat, especially thanks to Namiko. She was warm, attentive, and always had a smile on her face. It really set a positive tone for the day. We also had dinner at the Raw Bar, and it was fantastic. The sushi was fresh and beautifully prepared, and the chocolate hazelnut dessert was a lovely surprise—rich, balanced, and a perfect way to end the meal.

Our flight was delayed and then one of our bags was also lost. We were able to text with the staff to keep them up to date on our arrival time and they were very empathetic and happy to have us once we finally arrived. Our jacuzzi suite was amazing and exactly what we needed after long travels and after being out in Vancouver all day exploring the sights. We ordered the room service breakfast, which was amazing! Highly recommend the Bacchus!

the staff were amazing! Every person treated us with exceptional customer service, and made us feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. The valet was very helpful and friendly. The front desk was welcoming and thorough. The lounge had a great ambience, yummy drinks and amazing staff! Beds were very comfortable and rooms were clean and surprisingly quiet for being located right downtown. Room service from the in house restaurant was delicious!! This was a perfect stay for our date night, with so many amazing venues and restaurants near by, we are excited to come back and stay again. next time we will stay longer and take advantage of the spa.

Right at the reception desk the staff were very friendly and helpful. Ryan in particular was great! The room was a good size which included a large bed, desk with chair, a large comfy chair and two stools located with the "bar" setup. A Nespresso machine and mini-fridge were included in this setup. Snacks and beverages could be purchased if you wanted. The room was serviced every morning with new towels provided and the bed made up. A turn-down service took place in the evening along with two cookies which was a nice touch. Staff would come around to provide ice and replenish coffee pods, sugar, cream, etc. for making coffee. I had brunch in the restaurant which was very good. The restaurant itself is high quality. Overall the staff was certainly a bonus. It was nice to be welcomed back in the evening after being out.

This hotel is a classic, luxury hotel with large, comfortable rooms, friendly, service-oriented staff, and good facilities. The hotel bar/lounge was a highlight, with top-quality food and drink, but reasonably priced. Service was the standout for this classic hotel, everyone from the valet, restaurant and spa employees were all extremely helpful and pleasant and made us feel right at home. The location couldn't have been better. We were within walking distance of everything we wanted to see in the city, as well as great restaurants and bars nearby. We will definitely be back.

The room was large, clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet - perfect for sleeping. The bar downstairs is amazing!! The location was perfect. We walked to Granville Island (took the aquabus), we also walked to Canada Place and Gastown. The art gallery is right across the street.

Very well located hotel not far off the TransCanada and easy walking distance to central Chemainus; absolutely spotless; friendly staff; good fitness centre with pool/hottub; generous included breakfast. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in Chemainus.

The room was spacious and I really liked it except the pillows were too small and not comfortable. Fitness room better than average. I did not use the pool or jacuzzi. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately the local Haida Way restaurant closes on Tuesday. I had a bit of a drive to find dinner as the pub across the way did not look inviting.

I would highly recommend this hotel for numerous reasons. The rooms were beautiful, large, spacious, well maintained and clean. The price for the rooms was very reasonable. Also, it is well located for access to the downtown area within walking distance. The majority of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and generous. The only 2 negatives were that the breakfast room was really too small & although generally in a nice neighborhood, the view out of the back of the hotel was over a log truck loading and unloading station, which really wasn't very beautiful ( although you could see the mountains and the harbor out beyond it.)

From the "prior to check in" communication, through to check out, our stay was exemplary. The room was comfortable, well equipped, quiet, sparkling clean, and very well laid out. The check in-check out processes were easy and straightforward. The staff were polite, efficient, informative, and helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect for an evening of theater or a stroll through the quaint village of Chemainus. There is lots of free parking at the hotel. We did not use the gym or pool but both looked clean and well maintained. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Far from resort. I would pick closer places unless you are Heli skiing. Small jacuzzi given size of resort. Need to take a 37 minute shuttle to Revi, I thought they should have their own

Loved the view from our balcony. Room was very comfortable and clean. Very friendly, helpful staff. The a/c was in great working order, which was important during the heat wave! Enjoyed the little breakfast café. Hallways, stairwells and elevator were run-down and a bit grungy. We would have liked additional breakfast options, like a breakfast/brunch buffet. Dinner at the restaurant was not very good - very slow, not very tasty, expensive.

Great setting on the lake . Welcoming staff, easy parking. Reasonable pool facility. Lake view room well equipped and comfortable bed. Ground floor room with access to outside area and seat / table.. nice to view lake but not private, easily overlooked by neighbouring rooms from where conversations carry easily. Bathroom ok but shame shower over bath with shower curtain. Needs an upgrade to walk in shower. 15 minute walk on an incline to downtown Nelson. Just opposite tram , which is a fun way to spend an hour . Brixx brewhouse was great. Quite busy probably because 10 dollar happy hour promotion! Good to have an outside bar table watching the lake. Friendly and helpful staff , good local beer choices and excellent burger menu. Highly recommended chef led experience. I think they do different promotions of their menu most nights of the week. Well worth checking it out. Empire coffee was a big let down. The most unfriendly staff of our whole trip, unpleasant breakfast muffin, unclean and unstable table . Give it a miss,

Very clean, lakeside hotel. it was generally nice and quiet from traffic or outside noise. The staff were great and accommodating and helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable. the view from our balcony was directly onto the marina, lake and Pulpit Rock on the opposite side. spectacular view. This hotel is lakeside and not in the core of downtown area. There is a walk to get into downtown. While it’s only a few blocks away it is uphill (or up a few flights of stairs) depending on which way you walk. This was not a problem for us but if you’re at all concerned about that be aware.

I recently stayed at the Prestige Lakeside in Nelson on a ski trip and it was great as always. Room was clean and updated. Beds are comfortable with lots of pillows. The pool and hot tub are maintained excellently and there are plenty of towels for guests. The front desk staff wash courteous and efficient. The gym is clean and all the equipment works. Located right on the lake and the patio in the summer is an amazing place to have dinner or drinks. The food is great and they have their own sushi bar which they do very well. My server/bartender Yanna (sp) was excellent. This place really seems to make an effort to do everything well.

The staff were so welcoming, kind, and so nice to our kids. Thank you, Sheila, for being so nice to them and for the toys 🧸 you definitely gave us a great impression of the hotel. We were told what was happening in town and all the services they provided. The rooms were very clean. Lots of room, coffee machine was great. It was quiet. Comfortable bed and soft towels. There are toiletries, and the shampoo and conditioner smell amazing. The whole family loved staying there. Loved that you could press the maid button if your room needed cleaning. The view was absolutely beautiful. We can not wait to come back.

Clean and quiet and only a 25 minute walk to downtown. Loved the delicious breakfast that was served in the cosy and comfy dining room. Very comfy king bed and enjoyed the huge jacuzzi tub.

The breakfast was amazing. The bed was very comfortable. Great jacuzzi bathtub. Quirky decor. Great location in the Fernwood neighbourhood. We biked to the Inn, and the staff kindly stored our bikes overnight :)

Outstanding breakfast and service, beautiful room (The Duchess Suite), wonderful building. Especially loved the double jacuzzi! The whole building is gorgeous and staying here was truly an experience.

Stunning historical property. Beautiful room and fabulous breakfast. However, the loo did not flush, we could not get the Jacuzzi to work in the bath and there was a skylight with no shade so we woke early.

Our hottub pipes had frozen over and resort quickly found another unit to move us to where the hottub was working...amazing....they dealt with the situation in a professional and respectful way. This is our second time here and look forward to many more stays

The whole place is awesome. The views are so breathtaking. The suites have a full kitchen with microwave, freezer and fridge. The bathroom has shower gels, shampoo, conditioner. It is so quiet here. Some suites have a jacuzzi on the balcony. Very comfortable bed.

While the marina is cool.. the building facing the bay would have been nicer.for sure. The room needs blackout blinds. It was so bright, so early. Construction noise was occasionally loud. Reminder the deck is a soaker not jacuzzi tub No food on site

The Hilton downtown was a great location, facilities and staff were overall friendly and services were good. Great outdoor pool and Jacuzzi.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. As we had booked the best room, no upgrade was possible. But the receptionist offered us a bottle of wine as compensation. That was very nice. At the end of our stay, he managed a late check-out, so we could take a shower before heading to the airport. The bellboys were also very helpful. took care about our car and luggage and provided us the address of the next gas station. There is no breakfast buffet available even it is still promoted in the elevator. As Diamond member I am used to receive a free breakfast, but here it's not available. You have to use the restaurant and the hotel just provides a voucher for 22 $. Also it was the only hotel we stayed during a three week period where the coffee to the breakfast was charged extra. So the hotel voucher doesn't cover the costs. Also the room service was very poor. We stayed in a suite. The next day the beds were made and towels changed. But the bath mat was missing, the coffee corner wasn't cleaned, no new coffee pads provided and the empty bottle of wine and the glasses (compensation from the receptionist) stand still on the table. From Hilton I am used to a better room service especially when staying in a suite.

1st time stay. Very helpful and professional staff. Breakfast was ample and varied. Wish they would offer congee as an item on a la carte Vs buying breakfast option. I overheard table beside that it was $12 for a bowl, which seems a little gaugey for overcooked rice. Restaurant is small, so expect a little delay at peak breakfast times. Lisa the concierge was very helpful and welcoming. Porters and valet courteous. Gym and pool were adequate. This stay was very pricy but location is everything. Safe, clean and walkable to everywhere. My only issue is elevator…this residential building turned into commercial hotel explains why only two elevators. It gets really bad in morning, when some go for breakfast, checkout, leave hotel. At one point, it was better to get on when ascending, in order to secure a spot when descending. There’s a tv screen beside elevator… why oh why can’t there be a live feed of the two elevator positions? Some patrons may elect to take stairs if they are o lower floors or going to the gym. Food for thought. Overall, classical hilton experience. Great.

Checked in to downtown Hilton on Tuesday for few days of long hectic schedule meeting in the area , I decided the best way is stay downtown hotel to avoid the time hustle and traveling , I choose the Hilton because the convenient location for me and I am long time Hilton Honors member , lot of benefit like 4 pm check out upgrade plus complimentary breakfast , front staff very professional fast check in , my room is upgrade very comfortable with city view good working area , comfy bedding clean bathroom with shower and tub , restaurant and gym on site , enjoyable stay , whole hotel not over crowd and no running kids in the outdoor pool ! one of the best choice I made to stay here and really give me the opportunity to export this side of Robson street , truly Hilton Downtown is number one choice !

We stay in Hiltons all the time. This one has been my favorite so far. I really liked our room. The bed was super comfortable, the pillows were perfect. There was a chair that I found very comfortable. I loved the bathroom. It was quite large with plenty of light and counter space. There was a makeup mirror mounted on the wall. The room itself also had plenty of space. There was a small alcove fitted with a bench and spot under the bench for shoes, etc. The only thing we had an issue with was the coffee maker. We got it to work but I think it was broken. We thought it was us, at first. Anyway, we got our coffee and it was just fine. We also ordered room service and I was so impressed. Everything was still warm and delicious. I had scrambled eggs, bacon and a muffin. there was a rather large bowl of fruit, as well. My husband had the eggs Benedict and said he could not believe how good it was. The only other issue is there are only 2 elevators for 31 floors and that was very congested. I would stay here, again. We walked to the hockey arena and walked to our restaurant. Both were very close, easy, enjoyable walks. Perfect location.

- The location - close to the town centre, grocery store, bike paths… - Very quiet! Away from crowds. - Private and hidden from view jacuzzi - much appreciated, it was a perfect addition to our stay. - Property had all the necessary basic utilities for a week.

The location was amazing. Whistler Village and the medical center were across the street. The size of the unit was perfect for five of us. The sem-private hottub was perfect after running a half marathon.

Lovely compound with good proximity to the main village, a hot enough jacuzzi which is very enjoyable, Trevor had been most helpful for our stay.

The view from the patio next to our room was stunning! Location to town was easy to navigate and beautiful drive. Our room was very comfortable with a leather couch, table and chairs, huge TV and jacuzzi bathtub. The staff was friendly and very accommodating.

Staff were excellent. Ended up staying for two nights instead of one. First night we stayed on suite with kitchenette and second in room with jacuzzi. Both rooms were nicely decorated, clean and beds were super comfy. Hotel was 10 minute walk to downtown and 1 minute drive. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit nelson.

We were so happy we chose this hotel. It is the perfect distance from all the great restaurants downtown; the uphill walk home was just what we needed to work off the great food we ate! We chose a jacuzzi suite and it was adorable. They have a nice little picnic table a few feet away with a gorgeous viewpoint and an ashtray so my hubs could have a ciggie without feeling like a pariah. We really loved our short stay and would choose it again in a heartbeat!

The beds were so comfy, and the room was very clean and smelled fresh. The staff was so friendly, and gave us great ideas on where to explore and good restaurants. They had a bbq and siting area, which was lovely, and the flowers around the property was fantastic. The kitchenettes were supplied with everything we needed to make meals everyday. It was perfect for our family (including 2 dogs.) The nice thing was too is you don’t hear anyone else around you. They had a laundry machine you could do laundry at a small cost, so we were able to go home with clean clothes. It was very quiet and peaceful at night. We would definitely go back again.

Stayed only one night. The room, although quite small, was very clean and comfortable. The carpet and floor were attractive and spotless. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The room smelled nice. I even brought a small dog and stayed in a "pet friendly" room. My dog was not overly excited about being in a room that, apparently, may have had another furry friend's scent. She did not even notice so whatever they use, I hope they keep using it. Nice little motel with plenty of available parking, unlike many of Nelson's accommodations. Also, in a quaint, safe neighborhood and it's easy to find.

Excellent property, stayed in king bed junior suite, nice balcony, big room, very clean, huge washroom with jacuzzi tub with lights, and a tv. Would stay there again.

Pros: This hotel, with it's grand proportions, is in a good position overlooking Sooke Harbour with it's friendly seals. Room ok, bit small, but had a nice view of the water. Nice massage in spa. Very difficult to find - no signs! Best bit about hotel "Tarts' little cafe. Good parking. Cons: At check-in we were early as were a number of guests. Although it is clear check-in is from 4pm on website it's odd that no rooms were ready for anyone before 4pm. Not normal in hotels. I wonder if it was just being b****( minded. We waited out in a courtyard with dirty glasses and cigar stubs! Staff not too friendly even, especially, a chap I thought to be manager. Nice pool and jacuzzi but both cloudy and a little gritty on the bottom. Pool closed for cleaning when should be open, a pain. Resteraunt quite good, terrace great even when chilly. Sports Bar only opens at 4pm. It's not very large but has four large TV sets in it playing sport - grim. Ladies be warned. Hotel served it's purpose while visiting family just down the road.

Great location, stunning view and setting, friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful decor and presentation of the hotel. Fabulous food and great service - Enjoyed food and drink from the main restaurant and cafe in the main foyer (who had the most lovely staff). Really well priced. Really liked how helpful the reception staff were in responding to our initial disappointment / concern with the first room (Whilst we knew we had booked a room with a balcony that had a partial view of the water - What we didn't know until we went into the room was that it was a corner room, that had another balcony in front of ours and that other guests could be on their balcony and look into our room be in front of us). This was managed really well and did not make us feel awkward or embarrassed for raising our concerns / disappointment / how uncomfortable we felt. Another room was offered (which we accepted), whilst we lost our balcony we felt more private. The free use of the kayaks was a real bonus and thoroughly enjoyed. Great fun and a lovely way to explore the coast line. Able to see so many seals (from a safe / respectful distance). Great facilities just a short drive into Sooke.

Got a three night complimentary stay at the Resort from my business associate , what a relaxation luxury waterfront , only a hour drive from Victoria and it is under Best Western brand , great for a mini get away from the hustle and bustle city life , surprise not over crowed and not many kids , elegant Lobby like Hollywood Hotel in L.A ! friendly checked in , our rooms with balcony absolutely stunning view of the ocean mountains and mariners , comfy bedding clean modern bathroom , restaurant on site plus well keep Pool and Gym , amazing the resort staff very good natured and helpful and it is our second night here , happy to say we both love it try to extended our stay but unfortunately the RESORT fully booked till September !!! people do book year ahead ! it is fantastic mini vacations in B.C why go abord , truly recommend this resort for mini vacations and wedding !

The hotel was very spacious with modern and attractive styling. It had a good sized car park as well. The hotel was on the waterfront with lovely views from the rooms and the restaurant. The restaurant was exceptional for both dinner and breakfast. The food was delicious with good menu choices and it was reasonably priced.

The staff is very welcoming and kind!!! The room was really clean and comfortable, it was cold enough as soon as we got there, which appreciate coming from a 30 temperature. The jacuzzi was really clean and in perfect condition the views are amazing, I really like the body wash and shampoo options they had (good for sensitive skin) The whole place is beautiful, I liked the green space they have with the gazebo and some games :)

We don’t normally stay in Motels but we were limited to where we could go because there was a tournament in town. First impressions and availability encouraged us to book. Casa Grande Inn was welcoming and felt like a Spanish getaway with the motel structure. It didn’t feel like a motel because of the fun entrance by taking the outdoor elevator up to our floor. It was enjoyable.Quaint and quite comfortable with great attention to detail. “mi casa es su casa” feeling .Creative folded towels and thankful for kitchenette with fridge and microwave! (toaster, kettle) You don’t get that at a reasonable price in a regular hotel room. I requested an extra blanket and 2 wine glasses and they remembered. They made a heart in the blanket that was cute. Great attention to details! Fantastic views of the beach right across the street! could see a seal in the water from our patio. “Shady Rest” restaurant across the street ate dinner first night and took in the views. Tried 2pc fish and chips with mojito, sticky toffee pudding for dessert. All was amazing! Lastly, a notebook and pen to add thoughts and suggestions of every customers stay. Thought that was clever. We walked on the beach and took in the sites.

Great location on the sea front with fabulous views across the George Strait. Really excellent, very clean room with lovely bed and small balcony to sit and take in the view. Very nice bathroom with superb power shower. Nespresso machine with capsules which somehow were our favourites (not sure how the hotel got that right!). Parking available on-site with lift to all floors from the car park. No food of any sort available in hotel (not expected) so you will need to use what's available locally. One tip - the very efficient lady behind the check-in desk did warn us that most places close around 5pm in Qualicum beach but the Shady Rest restaurant / bar diagonally opposite across the road from the hotel is open until 8pm so best to use that for drinks / supper. We did and found it very friendly, reasonably priced and food not bad - good fish but chips were poor but my wife's pork schnitzel was very tasty she said. Overall an excellent place to stay for a night or two (we had one night on the way from Alder Bay back to Nanaimo for the ferry). If you have time take a walk on the beach at low tide - really superb.

Location was perfect for exploring the area, went to Cathedral grove, parksville, rathtrevor park, little qualicum falls and Englishman river falls, Coombs market. The kitchenette was well equipped and perfect for making simple meals. Coffee maker is a nice touch. Very clean, comfortable and friendly/helpful staff. Returning from remote camping on North Vancouver Island I needed some civilization before boarding my flight home. I had stayed in a few other accommodations along the trip, none had air conditioning but were otherwise very nice albeit with a legacy vibe. This franchise location is very close to the airport with a free shuttle. It is very clean, feels very new in its fabrics, fixtures and equipment. My rooms climate control was spot on, the shower and washroom are very clean, the breakfast opened at 6AM which was convenient given my early departure. Breakfast was normal franchise buffet but it was a very robust selection. You are wanting for nothing. I was on seventh floor, I never heard other guests at all, slept very well. The public areas are trendy enough but very utilitarian, the rooms are very nice, clean modern design, everything worked as it should. Window coverings include a blackout shade and a privacy diffuser screen that lets lots of light in and provides privacy if that's what you desire. There is a Costco across the street which was handy. There are several great dining options nearby. I walked 10 minutes to a very trendy finer dining spot The Story Cafe and Eatery. Great steak after 5PM.

Rooms are clean,,they even smell clean!! The beds were so comfortable,,the best night sleep we had for our whole holiday. Rooms are quiet,big, and you can’t hear the traffic or airplanes. The hotel is close to the airport,River rock casino and Costco is right across the street. We will definitely stay at this hotel again. Also,,there is parking for your vehicle for 1 week,2 weeks etc.(for a fee of course) and a free shuttle to the airport. And complimentary breakfast. Rooms have a safe,fridge and a Kurig coffee maker.

I try and pick Holiday Inn Express, if I have the choice, when travelling. You know what to expect. I like the well-organized, simple, exceptionally clean rooms. The bed was comfortable after a long flight. The white noise machine was a nice touch considering they're not yet sound proof near the airport. I expect that that will come with the reno's. As they are renovating, it's looking and feeling more fresh. Travelling can be stressful and It's actually soothing to stay there. The breakfast is simple, fresh and filling. Really great value for a family of 4. The shuttle bus was easy and efficient. Shout out to how clean they keep the Breakfast area as well. Staff were kind and professional and that's pretty welcome at 11:30pm after travelling all day and feeling frazzled and jet-lagged. This was the beautiful sun -rise we got to see from the hallway that has bright big windows.

- Free shuttle bus arrives on time. Driver is so friendly and helpful - Staff is helpful (but not too friendly when compare with the first night we stay here) - Room is clean and bed is comfortable. We got a higher floor than the first night and room looks newer - Breakfast is good. Hot food is served. Staff is also nice. - Location is good. The hotel closes to the train station (Canada Line) within 10 minute-walk and there are some restaurants nearby

The hotel was clean, well appointed with a very friendly and professional staff. The room was spacious and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was good with a good selection of food. Front desk staff, Cindy, KC & Jordan were all super helpful. Kudos to them.

Beautiful building, very comfortable room. We got the king room with the jacuzzi and it was amazing. I would definitely come back.

We had a late check in, and Ramen, the lovely desk clerk, was accommodating at upgrading us to a beautiful and comfortable room. She was welcoming and friendly... and after our drive in snowstorm, we appreciated her very much. The hotel is very close to the downtown area, so we went out to Andiamo, a wonderful little Italian restaurant, for a very memorable evening and delicious meal, before returning to the hotel where we slept extremely well. In the morning we went down to the beautifully updated, bright and cheerful restaurant, for an enjoyable and delicious breakfast, cooked to perfection and a gorgeous morning view. Our stay was 5 star all the way. Thank you.

Loved the waterfront view and walk to the wharf and around the property. Room was spacious with a full sized fridge and kitchen - absolutely fabulous. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. I left my face wash at home and was thrilled to be able to purchase some from the spa. Friendly and knowledgeable- wish I could have spent time there. All staff was exceptionally tentative and professional. From front desk to cleaving staff and Jennifer when I picked up a food order to go at the restaurant attached to the hotel. I wish I had a longer stay and highly recommend Prestige to anyone looking to stay more than one night. Although there isn’t a continental breakfast I highly recommend the cafe or bringing your own breakfast foods because the in room coffee is actually very good! The tea as well. Very impressed! We will be back. Thanks for EVO parking as well.

The hotel is beautifully situated beside a stunning marine park, complete with lush gardens, scenic walking trails, and a long, wide wharf. While exploring the trails, we spotted pheasants and a variety of other birds, making for a peaceful and nature-filled experience. In autumn, the trees are a breathtaking mix of green, gold, and red — a perfect seasonal backdrop. The hotel itself is grand and elegant, with exceptionally clean facilities. The pool and hot tub overlook the lake, offering a relaxing spot to unwind with a view. The staff were warm, friendly, and went out of their way to be helpful. A truly memorable stay!

The hotel is in a lovely waterside position, its quiet there but its a short walking distance to a number of shops. The hotel itself has restaurants and a coffee shop though, and a spa where I had a very relaxing massage. The pool is a good temperature (i.e not freezing cold!) and has a cool exit to the outside that you can swim through. Very well stocked gym. Rooms are a good size, with a separate shower and bath, which is unusual Staff were so friendly and helpful, checked me in 90 mins before the advertised time as it was ready and provided me with a kettle for my British cup of tea!

We have been regular customers of the Wedgewood Hotel & Spa for the last 5 years and it never disappoints. The location is fabulous, walking distance to shopping, great restaurants, Stanley Park & the sea wall. The rooms are lovely and include numerous extra touches such as high end bath products, chocolates on arrival and delicious homemade cookies with turndown service every evening. We were fortunate enough, on our last stay, to be upgraded to the penthouse suite, which has two spacious balconies overlooking Robson Square as well as a jacuzzi and fireplace. The restaurant, Bacchus, is outstanding and has great ambience, whether for breakfast, lunch, dinner or drinks. Their fixed menu Thanksgiving dinner this weekend was superb! However, what really sets this boutique hotel apart is the staff and the personalized service. It would be unfair to name staff members who went above and beyond as every single member of the staff across all departments is consistently friendly, courteous, welcoming and exceptionally helpful, exceeding all expectations. Management must be doing something right as we see the same staff at the property year after year and it is easy to tell that they take great pride in the property. We visit Vancouver quite frequently and we wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else. The Wedgewood is perfection for us!

Currently this hotel is traveller ranked number 2 on TripAdvisor but for me it is number one. I have stayed at other top hotels in Vancouver, for example the Loden is lovely and the Fairmont Waterfront is luxury with spectacular views, but the Wedgewood is just perfect for me. The welcome was genuinely warm and the rest of the service during our stay was attentive without being stuffy. The Bacchus lounge is so cosy and comfortable with excellent food that is plainer than the restaurant section, where the food is more adventurous and amazing, whilst remaining non-stuffy. The rooms are beautiful, the furniture wonderfully made and designed and the two cosy armchairs were the most comfortable seats I have ever had in a hotel room. Any and all requests we had during our stay were handled efficiently and with charm. The people to mention who looked after us so well were Dickin, Martin, Andrew and Ryan but a particular mention for David who made us feel at home as soon as we stepped in off the street. Thank you Wedgewood team, you are wonderful!

It is a little bit of magic in downtown Vancouver. Kirby at the front door and Sharmaine behind the front desk, along with all staff members were welcoming with exceptional attention to detail. Rooms were both spacious and cozy. Bacchus Restaurant (Lobster Bisque + Bison Shortribs!) & Lounge (grilled Albacore tuna + Bacchus Cobb Salad) are perfect for dining and drinks. Make sure to stop in for an evening cocktail (perfect Manhattan) & to hear beautiful, live piano music. Highly recommend. If you love Christmas, this is one hotel that still does it up in full - a MUST visit over the holidays, and year 'round. Its location makes it wonderfully walkable to shopping, restaurants (although you don't need to go beyond Bacchus), Stanley Park (a good walk!) and all of the city.

We loved this hotel! Our room was spacious, luxurious and very comfortable. Great bed, huge bathtub, bar area and very good bathroom, shower. The location is a perfect downtown location with great access to all of Vancouver. The lobby feels luxurious and yet made us feel right at home. None of that big chain, corporate vibe. Add to this the staff were all wonderful and very helpful. We also dined a couple of times at the bar area of Bacchus and the food was excellent. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The staff was amazing from the time we called them in the car to get directions for valet parking, to checking in, restaurant recommendations, to amazing drinks in the bar-to check out-just friendly and welcoming. The hotel was gorgeous-decorated for the holidays. We got some amazing pics in front of the fireplace/holiday tree. Room was comfy and quiet. We loved it! Oh-also great location and close to downtown shopping and great restaurants.

I recently stayed at the Best Western Premier in Vernon, and overall, it was a good experience. The hotel is fairly new and boasts a modern design that creates a welcoming atmosphere. Upon arrival, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the entire property, including my room, which was spotless. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making check-in and check-out smooth and hassle-free. One of the highlights was the lobby, which offers complimentary coffee 24 hours a day—a nice touch for early risers and late arrivals alike. The pool and hot tub area were well-maintained and provided a great place to relax after a day of exploring. I appreciated the hotel's convenient location; it’s within walking distance of several shopping areas, restaurants, and even a grocery store, making it easy to find everything you need. While I did find the prices to be quite high over the May long weekend, which was a bit disappointing, the experience overall was still enjoyable. One downside was the lack of a complimentary breakfast. Although there is a restaurant on-site, I found the breakfast buffet didn't justify the cost. I recommend ordering off the menu instead, as it offers better value. In summary, the Best Western Premier in Vernon is a great choice for anyone looking for a clean, modern hotel with friendly service and convenient amenities. Just be prepared for higher weekend rates and consider your breakfast option.

Great hotel! Friendly staff and quick checkin/checkout. Very clean and lots of free parking, indoor pool, and free coffee station for guests in the lobby. Rooms are clean, spacious and quiet with comfy beds, a microwave, Keurig coffee machine, safe and mini fridge. The onsite restaurant is great! Lots of booths and tables - even a small bar if you prefer to watch your favourite sporting event. Food was delicious and nice portions. Our server Sandy was fantastic and makes THE BEST Caesars! There is a Superstore across the street as well as several nearby restaurants. This is our new favourite hotel when staying in Vernon.

Quiet, clean and comfortable! The newest hotel in Vernon hits just right. Super clean with comfortable beds, linens and pillows - it’s a trifecta of all thing’s necessary for a great nights sleep. Surprisingly quiet location right near the highway with ample sound proofing from the outdoors as well as inside the room. There were youth hockey teams staying and we were concerned about noise, but didn’t hear any hallway noise or doors opening/closing in our 5th floor king suite. Great amenities with pool, hot tub and restaurant on site too. Free parking too! Thanks Best Western Premier - can’t wait to return for another stay soon!

Vish at the front desk is always cleaning and topping up the coffee station. He is very attenuative and helping. The staff there are very good and welcoming. The breakfast has improved drastically! I love the buffet stile breakfast for quick food and the service was really good. The servers were very tentative, and the food was continuously topped up. The staff are very good here and the restaurant is very clean My overall experience was very good. This has to be my favourite Best Western and I stay at most all BW's in BC as I travel for work. Great Job!

We recently stayed at the Best Western Premier Hotel in Vernon, and while there were many things I liked, a few areas could use improvement. The hotel itself is modern, with spacious rooms that were mostly clean and comfortable. The bed was cozy, and I had a decent night's sleep. The staff overall were friendly, but the check-in experience wasn’t the most welcoming. Overall, it was a decent stay, but with a few small adjustments, especially in terms of guest reception, it could be even better. I’d consider staying here again but might explore other options first.

We stayed in a king room on the 3rd floor with excellent views of the mountains. The bed was cozy, room was modern, spacious and quiet. The hotel had everything you needed and its location was walkable to everything in Radium. The maid service was great (as you choose when or if they came). Overall, my husband and I were very happy with this place and it did not disappoint. My only complaint was that the hottub wasn't hot enough, it was more like a warm tub. Not a big deal, as we just went to the hot springs nearby, anyways. Would stay again!

Very convenient location & Comfortable stay. Visited with family for a long weekend and had good time in this beautiful town. Resort is clean and well maintained. Still I am giving 4 stars because spring mattresses and pillows are very soft, we woke up with discomfort in backs. Weekend breakfast buffet was quite pricy however onsite restaurant was pretty decent. Our requirement was EV charging on the location and in hotel amenities it was mentioned but on check in day front desk staff was not aware of it. But later we found out it was available for the guest in the side parking lot and second day morning front desk staff helped us with it. Overall safe and good stay with family.

Location was stunning, and our suite was big and super comfortable for a family of 3 with a very active and excited toddler on his first overseas holiday. The staff in the attached restaurant were super, so friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious at both breakfast and dinner and my husband and I enjoyed the atmosphere in the bar (karaoke was an unexpected twist!). We had a wonderful stay and would certainly stay again next time we pass through Radium.

The hotel was at a great location, the front desk staff were nice and helpful. The room was very clean. There was nice view of the New Year’s Eve 6 pm fireworks. The only thing I did not like was the hotel restaurant. It wasn’t the food, the food was amazing. It was the service. The nice young lady I had initially was very helpful however after I was seated no one came by after for 30 minutes to ask if I wanted water or anything so eventually I got up and left. The table sat next to me wasn’t even given menus when they were seated so they had to find them by themselves. I recommend the hotel but not the restaurant.

Something I really loved about the property was the staff working there, they were super friendly and were able to accommodate a room for us although we had booked for the wrong dates. The restaurant in the hotel is fabulous is tastes good and looks delicious totally recommend it. The interior of the hotel is just as good as the exterior I like the location of the hotel and how it is near a lot of tourist attractions like the rotary park and the radium hotspring sign near the roundabout the view from the hotel is amazing. However I can thank the staff enough, don’t know the name of the guy who helped us out but he was amazing.

I don’t often complete reviews but after an amazing stay just had to speak up. Check in was efficient and staff were professional and extremely friendly. Was offered a room upgrade which was incredible. This hotel consistently goes above and beyond for guests (especially repeat guests). Room was amazing. Comfortable bed and pillows. Nice restaurant onsite with delicious breakfast buffet. Can’t say enough about this property and always look forward to my next stay. Joyce at front desk was amazing.

Quick shuttle very late from the airport. They gave us a few toiletries that were missing with our luggage! The room was quiet and comfortable modern, neutral decor. The bed/bedding was great! Nice amount of lighting and comfortable chairs, side table plug ins, adjustable temperature in the room. Wifi, coffee and tea available, good size bathroom, adequate towels and soaps. Plug with bathroom night light was appreciated. Breakfast buffet included was excellent. Very helpful friendly staff.

The beds were extremely comfortable, and the room was clean and spacious for two. Our bellman, Omar, was very friendly, attentive to our needs, and made our stay feel like we were honoured guests in someone's home. The cleaning staff were also thorough, respectful, and efficient. Front desk staff were also efficient, thoughtful, and helpful. The third floor room by the elevators was remarkably quiet - we didn't even hear much of the air traffic landing at the nearby airport.

The hotel is located only 15 minutes away from the airport and offers free shuttle! Rooms are extremely clean, well maintained and cozy! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent and the restaurant conveniently located inside the hotel. We’ll definitely return!
