Great hotel with many facilities. Would recommend a dip in pool which also had plunge, jacuzzi & sauna facilities. Very welcome after a day walking up Goatfell Mountain Staff very friendly & helpful throughout stay

From start to finish there wasn’t a single thing that wasn’t excellent. We try and come over annually and this year treated ourselves to the executive plus suites for two nights. The rooms were lovely and access to the outdoor hottub and lounge was great. We dined in brambles both nights and both the food and the waiting staff were amazing with plenty of variety to choose from if you’re there for a few days. It is very dog friendly and everything is so well thought through. From check in online prior to arrival, dog treats and bowls in the rooms and towels at the entrance, lots of activités for all the family and selection of dining options. It really is a special place

We stayed in a 2 bed 2 bath lodge which was dog friendly. The lodge was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. We ate breakfast in the hotel each morning and ate dinner two out of three nights at the Cruize Restaurant. The staff were attentive and friendly. The breakfast buffet was good value for money and had a reasonable choice of options. The menu for the restaurant at night and the food was delicious. My only complaint about our stay is that the VIP area for people with dogs in the restaurant isn’t comfortable to sit in if you are eating. It would be fine if you were just having a drink. The tables are too small. With 3 adults at the table it was very tight for space. The tables are also too low down. We couldn’t sit comfortably and get out knees under the table. Replace the tables and it would be a much better experience for dog owners. We used the spa and had some lovely treatments.

We stayed in one of the luxury cabin with our dog. The cabin was exceptionally clean and comfortable as well as dog friendly. So much so my dog didn’t want to leave to go day outs. Easily accessible to the main town and central to get around the island by car. We didn’t get a chance to use the spa or restaurant but next visit we will. Loved everything about the property staff well informed and friendly they where the ones that informed us the ferry was cancelled instead of the ferry company themselves. Outdoor sitting area is beautiful with outstanding view. Hot tub amazing peaceful and relaxing. I even learned how to get a fire started with the instructions I’m the cabin good to know for the future.

We spent 5 days in the original House Hotel The atmosphere was extremely welcoming from all the staff, not just front facing. The Executive Room with a classic bay window looked onto the hills and over looking the stunning gardens was first class with plenty space to relax. For the overall experience the hotel is great value for money. The whole hotel from bedrooms , sitting rooms, and restaurant was immaculately maintained. There was no distracting noise within the hotel and restaurant music was pleasant without being obtrusive. The service from reception to restaurants was exceptional with staff being courteous, friendly and efficient. The star of the show was the Resort Manager Gerrie Ross who had time and a friendly chat with all the guests in the dining areas. He appeared all over the resort and dealt with minor issues going far beyond expectations making a great holiday and exceptional stay. The amenities seemed to cover all ages and aspirations with the turbo sauna and the Aspa centre providing a luxurious calming environment with wonderful massages. We will definitely return.

The location is excellent for relaxing, with amazing sea views on the rugged side of the island and in walking distance to the beach and forest and sites such as The Kings Caves and Machrie Moor stone circle. There is a convenient bus stop just outside the hotel. There are also local shops - a sandwich shop, grocery store, gift and general store, and a couple of food/ bakery vans, all of which I used. The pool and sauna are clean and quiet and easy to book into (twice I did this on the spot, without needing to book a slot). This was a lovely bonus to the hotel. The food in the restaurant was amazing - good choice, generous portions, all delicious. Also, there was a selection of local whiskeys - recommended! The staff were welcoming - friendly and not intrusive. They were attentive in the restaurant and helpful on the reception desk. The room was cleaned every day and I was not disturbed in the morning for this (as can be the case in some hotels). The bed was comfortable, the window could be opened and there was no noise, so sleeping was good. There was a thermostat in the room, which was helpful for turning down the heat on a hot day and turning up to dry swimming costumes. Plug sockets by bed and desk were useful. Towels were soft and replenished daily. Seaview from bedroom. Wifi signal was good and the door keycard worked.

The view was spectacular from our room. Bed was large and comfy. Shower great with lovely shower products made in Aran. Restaurant and lobby had some spectacular sea views. We ate one night in the restaurant and the food was very nice. The staff were warm and helpful, especially at 10pm hoovering up the mass of mosquitoes who came in from window (I had left open as the room was very warm. Didn't know they gravitated to the light :-) Breakfast lots of choice and very good food. Had a swim in the hotel swimming pool, really enjoyable. Hotel left a congratulations card in our room (as we were on honeymoon) and that was a thoughtful touch which we appreciated.

Clean, great location, good parking We were a couple who had travelled up from Derbyshire for a weekend break. After a busy day rushing around and trying to squeeze in so many things we arrived at the hotel at 6 o’clock. We were warmly greeted ,we were offered the chance to book our evening meal with the hotel, so glad we did. There is a swimming pool and sauna available at your request, but this does only open eight till eight. The room we had looked out to the bay which was stunning, the bedroom was clean and warm. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and fully functioning with beautiful soaps from a local company, and a hairdryer was provided. The restaurants food is good value and good quality, the service given by the staff was fantastic. Breakfast in the morning is also in the restaurant area which offers you continental fresh fruit cereals and a cooked breakfast. In short we would happily return to this hotel and felt that we were completely looked after. Please be aware the fuel stations on the island close at 1730hrs as this nearly caught us out!

The Kinloch Hotel was a great find and we enjoyed every moment of our stay there. The staff were friendly, polite and went out of their way to help you feel relaxed. Our bedroom had beautiful views of the beach and over to the Kintyre peninsula. It was a peaceful and comfortable room with everything you could need. The restaurant also had stunning views and the dining experience was brilliant. Every meal was delicious, freshly cooked with great quality ingredients. Thank you to every member of staff for a very pleasant stay.

An excellent hotel in a stunning location. We had a sea view room which was lovely and we could just have sat at the window all day looking at the view! The staff were so friendly and were also very helpful with information about the local area. The menu choices catered for all and the food was of an excellent standard and well cooked. The lounge area near the bar was so relaxing and comfortable and again had beautiful views.

This place was absolutely perfect in every way. The bedroom was well equipped, clean and tidy,, spacious, comfortable bed, TV, kettle, tea, coffee etc. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! Allan and Petra were very welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed. They were very knowledgeable of the local area. The views from the living room and dining room windows were stunning.

Dont usually leave reviews, but feel like this one more than deserves it. Had some trouble with ferries coming over due to bad weather and had to change things around last minute, but when I contacted the property it was taken care of with no issues or hassle. When I arrived the host Allan, was very friendly and helpful made me feel really welcomed. My room was very clean, with every comfort one would need. Breakfast was lovely and again, Allen was very friendly and helpful, lots of local knowledge, recommending lots of local sights and places to eat and drink which were all great! He genuinely seemed to care about making me feel welcome and comfortable and would definitely stay here again if I get the chance to come back. Great location, very close to the ferry with an awsome view of the harbor, very reasonably priced too!

Lovely guest house with a very homely and comfortable feel. The room was perfect for what we needed and great touches put in. Allan was the perfect host, so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, and you couldn’t ask for a better location. This really is the perfect base to explore all that Arran has to offer. One of my favourite places I’ve ever stayed, will definitely be back. Thank you Allan!

The host, Allan, was exceptionally friendly and welcoming and helpful. The rooms are no-frills but you have everything you need, with an extremely comfortable bed, and nice clean en suite bathroom. Breakfast options were great, and the cooked breakfast was very tasty.

I stayed for two nights and was out walking most of the day, returning in the evenings to spend the night. My room was nice and warm, the bed comfortable, and tea and coffee making facilities good enough for one person. The separate bathroom was very clean with a good flow of hot water and a fantastic shower. In the mornings, the owner would provide a hearty breakfast and there was a decent choice from full Scottish to vegetarian with tea and coffee. Allan, the owner, was polite and friendly with a fairly good knowledge of the local area. I enjoyed my stay which was nice and peaceful and would definitely recommend Belvedere to friends and family.

Our one night stay was amazing. The service from the staff was excellent, they were warm and friendly with nothing a bother. The family room we had was large and spacious with a large bathroom en suite. The bed was comfy and bedding nice and cosy. The best bit about the stay was the food. Our evening meal was tasty and delivered with the same exceptional service, but the Breakfast was just yum!! What a great place to stay!

Staff was friendly and helpful. The place was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The food was delicious. The view from our window was beautiful, facing the bordering river and the hotel grounds, which were well kept.

The location of the hotel was perfect for my purposes, a leisurely cycle tour around Arran, but the setting of the inn is lovely, it feels secluded, with a river running close by, a lush garden to while the time away. My single room was small but the bathroom had a bathtub which was very welcome and everything was spotlessly clean. I enjoyed a few pints from the public bar in the sunshine outside and I had an excellent burger from the restaurant for dinner. All in all, this was a very pleasant stay!

The location was superb, with lovely view out across the bay from our room. Meals were delicious both at breakfast and dinner in restaurant. There was a good choice. The bar was cosy , comfortable and friendly . All the staff were friendly and helpful and it all made for a very relaxed stay.

We had some business to attend to on the island and decided to treat ourselves to a nice hotel. Lamlash Bay did not disappoint! A very nice welcome from the owner/manager and shown to a beautiful double-aspect room with two very comfortable queen beds. The dinners were outstanding with Wojcek's Cullen skink exceptional - so much so that we have encouraged him to enter the World Championship! Great restaurant service from Isla and Melissa (and two other ladies whose names I have forgotten). We loved the cosy bar with its open fire and big leather wing chairs. Marvellous. All in all, an enjoyable and memorable experience.

Everything went really well. Breakfast was well organised with filling in breakfast card’s beforehand. We had dinner on our first night too which was really lovely the bruschetta was delicious 😋. Would certainly recommend to anyone if they were looking for somewhere to eat. Our room was very comfortable with a good sized bathroom which had a spacious shower.

Warm welcome, very friendly staff with lots of useful information. The pre planned and booked breakfast works so well, ensuring hot, tasty and very enjoyable breakfasts. Evening dinner menu excellent, and very well presented. Food was delicious. Lovely position in Lamlash, spectacular views.

The Hotel was very easy to reach from the ferry port at Brodick. On arrival, I was checked in by a friendly member of their team and shown up to my room - a single room on this occasion. The room was very clean and warm (it was November!). It had a TV, phone, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and a bathroom provided with towels and toiletries. Everything worked. The view from the window was out towards Lamlash Church and the bay. I'd booked a meal for the evening - the food was really good, both in the evening and for breakfast (I had the Full Scottish). There was also a bar with a small choice of beers on draught. Once again, the staff in the restaurant were very friendly and the food arrived quickly. I was also pleasantly surprised that on the Saturday night that there was also some live music (a guitarist). The view at the front of the hotel was stunning and directly overlooks Holy Island. The only minor issue I had was that the EV charge-point at the rear of the hotel refused to work for me, although that was probably an issue for Chargeplace Scotland rather than the Hotel - there were other charge-points very close by, all reasonably priced. A good stay and a hotel I would gladly return to.

The Glenisle Hotel is located in Lamlash with a stunning view across to the Holy Isle- from the top room. Central, and convenient for other eateries and bars, with a Co-op Market a short walk. Hotel was spotless and comfortable, with staff friendly and welcoming. Carpark was small, but enough space at front to park on road. A nice seat across from Hotel front entrance to take in the view 🤗

Absolutely stunning view from our room. Bed super comfortable. No wifi in the room only in public areas (did say this on booking when I checked but just in case you don’t check) We were in room 8. Big room but no decor whatsoever. Curtain for a toilet door. Toilet seat not secure. Dangerous shower going scalding hot then freezing cold every few seconds. Did tell the reception staff. I couldn’t have a body shower due to this. Had to keep dipping my head in and out the shower every few seconds to get the soap off. My husband is a plumber and became aware of what was happening quickly whereas there could be someone in the shower who would get badly burnt unexpectedly. Staff did say they would get this rectified. Staff friendly. Breakfast average.

The glenisle was a great stay , The room was very spacious with a modern/updated feel to it , everything was clean , view out of window was great ( the beach and holy isle ) especially at sunrise Breakfast was great with plenty to choose from , Beach was right across the road , supermarket 2 min walk and ferry 10 min drive Joy was very accommodating with nothing too much bother as was the owner whom we also met on our 2nd night This property also serves afternoon and evening meals at really great prices and tastes great , Having stayed in many hotels/b&b in arran , this is one of the best we’ve visited and we’ll definitely be back

The staff are really what make this hotel. They are attentive but not intrusive and nothing is too much trouble. Nath was charming and knowledgeable. Our room was clean ans fresh with shower gel and shampoo supplied. Bed was comfortable. Food was delicious with a good choice of menu..Breakfast was included and plentiful. No hesitation in returning to Glenisle if back on Arran!

We picked this property as it was dog friendly, which was our main consideration. This was an excellent choice which will be the basis for our return in the future. The staff were polite, helpful and attentive. The bar/ dining area was buzzing both nights we were there. We ate on the second night and it was excellent. Great choice of fresh cooked food with ample portions. We were upgraded for our room and we had a fantastic sea view room which was clean and had excellent ensuite and room amenities. I actually sat at the window for a few hours watching the wildlife and the view over the Firth of Clyde. It is 6 miles from Brodick (which I didn't realise of booking), but that didn't matter as it was in a spot which was close to what we needed. Sitting out in the beer garden overlooking the Clyde with a drink in hand. As for our wee doggy, she was made to feel welcome. Doggy towels and cleaning facilities available, with doggy treats in the bar. Can't praise this place enough.

This is the most phenomenal hotel on Arran. We've been coming to Arran for 10+ years and always called in for food & drinks. We'll never stay anywhere else now. We've been allocated room 8, a wonderful room with a comfortable double bed, small bathroom and loads of floor space for the dog to relax too. This is the most dog friendly hotel we've been totally, and we've tried a lot. At check in you're given a doggy goodie bag, snacks and toy and a few poo bags too. We've been lucky with the weather when arriving, able to spend some time in the beer garden having drinks while the dog explored. Just perfect. At the entrance to the hotel you'll find some spare bags, towels and comfortable seating. The dog rules include to let your dog have the best time in Arran and just give them a dry/clean with towels provided. All staff make your dog feel welcome, and when chatting to them it is clear they love dogs. The drinks are reasonably priced, roughly the same as I'd pay in my local. The food is wonderful, with huge portions. I love that this hotel has so much comfortable and relaxed seating with plenty of space for your dog to relax too. The hotel also have some dog dinners available, these are fancy dried dog foods available at the bar and given how quickly it was eaten it must have been good. Breakfast here is wonderful, a great selection, great coffee and they even have dippy eggs on the menu. I cannot recommend this place enough. A huge thank you to all of the staff xxx

The hotel is a perfect stunning location excellent views rooms were nice clean and modern even although in an old building Food was aboksutkey amazing exceeded even my expectations staff are lovely all round we absolutely love here and def would come back Scottish breakfast was also fabulous in morning and even better with dowie egberts filtered coffees fresh orange etc perfect little place we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the setting as a whole

Spotless hotel with idyllic views from both room windows. Bed comfortable, excellent shower and great breakfast and evening meal. Service friendly and attentive, especially in the restaurant. Lovely garden area overlooking the shore. Great location on the wonderful Isle of Arran

We only stayed 1 night but wish we had longer with them! Location is absolutely beautiful. The room was very spacious, modern and most of all comfortable. The en suite as well was perfect with a powerful shower. We really appreciated the little touches like a blanket in the wardrobe if you just want a nap and the selections of teas and coffee. There is hardly any phone signal but we got 50Mbps WiFi speed which was impressive to say the least. Food was very tasty, especially the breakfast. I had the full Scottish and my wife had the overnight oats, both really enjoyable. The freshly baked croissants are a must. Excellent lounge space as well for a late night game of scrabble Mac(k) & Kath we're the perfect hosts. Felt like visiting family.

Cathy and Mac (owners) were so welcoming and friendly. The lodge is in a stunning rural location and was so clean and cosy especially after two nights of camping! We are absolutely gutted we were too late to book dinner as the food is all home cooked and sounded absolutely amazing, but we were fortunate enough to have breakfast which was outstanding - the food was so local and fresh and they serve amazing coffee. A highlight was Cathy's home made blackberry and apple jam!

Everything! This is one of the best places we have ever stayed in. It's friendly, welcoming, very comfortable and in a great location. The room was extremely comfortable with a very good sized bed and perfect shower room The food is brilliant and don't miss Mac's wonderful evening meals. My lamb Tagine was absolutely perfect and the breakfast was superb. Cath and Mac are relaxed friendly hosts and kindly rang me to let me know that I had left my water bottle on the desk. We will definitely be making a return visit.

The lodge is located in Lochranza a small and peaceful population in the north of the island, we didn't see any shops and there were only a couple of bars in the village but this wasn't a problem for us . Cath and her husband were very welcoming and helpful. The bedroom was on the small side but it had everything we needed. The bathroom was renovated, fresh and clean. We also got to see the deer grazing at dusk on the golf course right in front of our window. Dinner and breakfast were excellent!

What a hidden Gem! Cath and Mac were the perfect hosts, rhe room was perfect (superior double) with a fabulous view of the Deer at 6am...just perfect. The food was delicious, Mac made the perfect t evening meal and breakfast, everything was cooked to order and fresh. We would definitely recommend Butt Lodge for a fab stay.

The views where beautiful also the pods where cosy but spacious and spotless! The hot tub was great just looking out to the beautiful views whilst relaxing! Great wee place to get away for a wee break would definitely recommend. Comfortable big bed and sofa bed also provided with coffee, sugar etc lovely small kitchen area with everything needed. Staff where so helpful and friendly too.

Fantastic quiet location with lovely views and close to local amenities in Blackwaterfoot. The pods are exceptional, clean, comfortable and equipped with everything your need to make your stay enjoyable. Communication was excellent and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I would thoroughly recommend to anyone who is looking for a warm, relaxing quiet place to unwind and enjoy nature and all Arran has to offer.

Couldn’t fault the accommodation it was clean, warm and very comfortable and fully equipped with everything you would need. Andrew was friendly and helpful. The info pack in the cabin and the website also contained a lot of helpful info of things to do and hikes which we found very helpful! We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return sometime.

The location, the pods were amazing. Clean, modern, everything worked perfectly. The staff, Ian and Janice on site were so helpful and kind. Made all of us feel so welcome. The communal fire pit area and duck pond were both safe and stunning. Unbelievable property you have here and superbly maintained and managed.

A perfect stay in a very comfortable, clean spacious room with a fantastic view overlooking the bay. Delicious tapas dinner in the restaurant and excellent breakfasts. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful and really made our stay enjoyable. Will be staying again on our next visit to Arran!

The location was superb, next to the beach, with a stunning view from my room. Waking up to that view was magical! Very quiet and peaceful, with just the lapping of the waves and birdsong. My room was really comfortable and I thought it was really nicely refurbished. Staff were very helpful. The breakfast in the morning was perfect. Thanks very much for a wonderful stay x

The hotel was very nice — the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It’s also great that the hotel is dog friendly (apart from the restaurant area). We had a lovely sea view from our room.

Couldn't believe our eyes when we drove up, location and views were stunning! The outside area was beautiful and well maintained with lots of space to sit and enjoy the view. The main building has a great, spacious kitchen area and separate lounge. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The sleep huts are lovely, clean and comfortable. Great shower pressure!

The property itself was exceptional. While the hut has a simple, tourist-standard feel, it had everything we needed: comfortable beds, heating, a kettle with coffee and tea bags, ample space and lighting, and an easy-to-use bathroom. The staff worked hard and were always helpful, though sometimes a bit unobtrusive—not intrusive, but easy to find if needed. There’s plenty of open space around the property, with tables in front of the huts and a beautiful view of the Holy Islands. The garden with outdoor seating is perfect for an evening drink. Parking is spacious, the kitchen is fully equipped and always spotless, and the lounge room creates a great atmosphere. It was easy to meet other wonderful guests, just like you.

My single room, although small, had everything I needed and turned out to feel just the right size for my needs. Bathroom was nice Sea view: stunning Bed: comfy and positioned so the view was visible from it. Mirrors, plug sockets and lamp all in good positions Very clean and comfortable overall. Great, modern kitchen facilities I found it a calm peaceful place to stay Location is great too. Easy to get to/from Brodick by bus, beach is right at the bottom of driveway.

The cottage was cosy and clean. The view of the sea was perfect! The location was ok, a bit farther than I imagined, approx. 20 minutes by feet from the closest bus stop. Poorly lightened path to the hotel, though. The bathroom was very nice, small but clean and well furnished. The beds were super comfy! TV was working perfectly (maybe a bit small but that's not a big minus). The communal kitchen was very modern, clean, and well-furnished.

Super comfortable & clean hut with fantastic ensuite shower/loo inc towels & toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities, comfortable beds with fresh linen, top location/amazing views of the Holy Isle over the bay, great shared kitchen, room serviced even though we only stayed for 2 nights; for £47.50 p/p/p/night on Arran in August we were delighted!

I travel quite a lot and i can say this guesthouse has been the best accommodation I've had in a long while! Tastefully renovated and redecorated villa, lovely room with wonderful views, the bed exceptionally comfortable, luxurious bathroom and fresh flowers in the vase - attention to every detail was perfect! On top of that, most delicious food and great coffee for breakfast 🥰 Thanks so much to the wonderful hosts for making your guests feel so welcome!

This guesthouse is an absolutely gem. Mrs. Joanna and her family clearly care very deeply about making your stay as comfortable, welcoming, and enjoyable as possible. My room was incredibly comfortable, and the included breakfast was hearty and delicious. I also purchased a delicious tajine dinner on the property, which was so hearty that I did not have room for one of their exceptional desserts!

We loved our brief stay here. Joanna was very warm and welcoming, nothing was too much for her to ensure our stay was comfortable. We were offered a cup of tea or coffee on arrival which was thoughtful as we had travelled a long distance. Our room was very clean and cosy with an excellent comfy bed. We had an evening meal here and the food was first rate...really excellent. Breakfast was also perfect with possibly the best porridge I've ever had. I can't rate this B & B highly enough in terms of quality and value for money. 5 stars!

The welcome, Joanne could not do enough for you, our stay was so relaxing and enjoyable. The sea view room was a good size, lovely views with a bathroom next door. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast and evening meal was of a high standard, the prices did not reflect the quality. Produce from the garden was so flavoursome and the presentation was first class. We would definitely return.

A lovely house, beautifully designed with amazing hosts. We arrived very late, still we were welcomed with delicious homemade soup and homemade sandwiches that looked straight out of an early Disney movie. The beds are comfortable and the blankets are soft and airy-thick. LOVED it. We were given nice tips and felt like visiting family. The breakfast… was de-li-cious. Also there was so much food served every time we felt so sorry for leaving such good food. We had plenty and our packed lunches were as good as the dinner and breakfast we had. Lovely first stop on our roadtrip trough scotland, it’s going to be difficult to top this place! 10/10 will come here again!
