The stay was beautiful and aesthetic. The room was very spacious (superior king size) and clean. It had all the amenities- tea/coffee with kettle, hair dryer, basic toiletries, TV, a nice big fan (which was very helpful), all details about the stay which we would need including the WIFI details. I had requested for a king size bed instead of twin beds and an early check- both of which was kindly accepted by the host. The host was lovely and helped us with our bags. Even though we had not booked breakfast- he said it would be okay for us to have breakfast the next morning which was lovely! Special mention to the cozy chairs and a round table in the room which was cute and also all the books/ magazines they has kept in the communal area for us to read. This was one of best stays I have visited and would want to go back there if I am visiting Cambridge anytime soon.

The B and B was within walking distance to the city centre . It was very clean and comfortable. Our room was large- the bay window was lovely to sit at. The hosts were very welcoming and served us a delicious full English breakfast. A buffet breakfast is also available. Parking is at front of house.

Good location in Cambridge. 12 minute very picturesque walk along the River Cam to the heart of the university town. Good range of takeaways close by. Beds comfortable, shower good. The breakfast was amazing with fruit, cereals, bead, pastries and full English breakfast if desired. Very friendly host family.

Location was amazing, it was very quiet and peaceful! We had a hot tub outside our lodge and it was just perfect. The rooms were fantastic and you can see how the owners try their very best to make your stay “as an exceptional experience”. Thank you and we will definitely be back in the future.

Really warm and cosy - actually had to turn down the heating by 5 degrees! Underfloor heating. Spacious area, kitchen had everything we needed. Bathroom was delightful - very large bath and walk in shower Quiet surroundings, medium sized seating area at the back of the courtyard looking onto the neighbouring farm with a good view of sunrise. However, you'll need to hop in your car to find a big green space to walk around in, which thankfully isn't far.

Fantastic property to stay at. The accommodation was very comfy, spacious, stylishly decorated and very clean. Great tranquil rural location with nice views. Would definitely recommend and stay here again if I’m in the area. Very friendly and responsive hosts. Check what competitive deals you may be able to get direct with hosts.

Very quiet and peaceful environment. If you love Nature, then this is the place for you, fresh air, green all-round, very spacious & all natural. The accommodation itself was superb, everything was just as described and much much more. Will definitely recommend if you're looking for tranquillity & a reflective time. Shops were just few minutes drive away. The hosts were always available to help or answer inquiries. A+++++++++

The location suited us really well as it is 10 mins drive from my sister & family and we were having a family reunion. It is a lovely farm environment and very peaceful and relaxing during the day and evening. The cottage is kitted out well with everything you need and a choice of a bathtub or shower.

Lovely property to stay in, but was very let down by the owner walking in why me and my wife was in the Jacuzzi  didn’t knock at the door, just let herself in. And was disappointed in the morning at 11 o’clock she come straight in and said to us how long we gonna be before we check out feel like an invasion of our privacy, very disappointed 

The location was perfect for our visit to Cambridge, not far to drive and a very peaceful location. Lovely views of countryside and sheep. Comfortable bed and nice large shower. All facilities were up to date, have recommended to friends and would definitely stay again if in the area.

There were four of us and the two cottages were delightful. The beds were extremely comfortable, the shower was great even though a non-slip shower mat would have been appreciated and in hindsight I should have asked how to get the heated towel rails working. The frying pan in the kitchen was missing, however the fresh boiled eggs for breakfast were a treat. Being long distance travellers, we would have really liked to have been able to do some laundry and ironing when we wanted to, but eventually we found a laundrette in the vicinity. In fairness, Fiona offered to get it done for us, but the timing wasn’t right. In spite of my criticisms, I would not hesitate to highly recommend Cambridge Cottages.

The properly was stunning honestly, pictures do not do it justice. Sourdough bread on arrival, juice, cereal and milk provided. The place was clean and had amazing views and security. We had an amazing hot tub which topped it off. Toiletries were top notch. Spacious and lovely interior.

Location of this property is lovely. Very peaceful and relaxing overlooking the countryside. The cottage was warm and cosy and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast, which is left in cottage for you to make yourself, was cereal, eggs, bread and jam.

Everything! The owners were very helpful and accommodating. The little farm was cute, clean and so lovely to see animals in spacious surroundings. We fed the ducks and watched them snooze in the sun. The accommodation itself was exceptional, amazing hot tub and beautiful outside space. Inside were two bedrooms, both with very comfy beds - home from home. The living space and kitchen were fully equipped and incredibly cosy and comfortable. A great all-rounder - a quiet place to come with friends or a base to use to explore Cambridge as the park and ride is only 5mins away. I’m coming back with my family, but I’ll also be doing a solo tranquil trip as it’s a great place to stimulate creativity.

A peaceful comfortable stay with all to hand, well-equipped, comfortable, spacious, clean, the hosts are very responsive and helpful, the view from the deck and main living area is green and pleasant (as per photo), laundry on site, easy parking.

This property has everything and is a home from home with lots of luxury added. We arrived to a beautiful welcome hamper. Having a hot tub on your own balcony with views across the lake and seeing the ducks, swans and geese is a real joy. They have a little island that our girls loved to cross the bridge and sit in the middle of the lake on a bench, they even have lights that light the bridge up in the evening and looks so pretty. At the front of the property you have the lovely farm animals that are all named and is a real joy to watch and also interact with the help of the lovely owners and team. I have to tell you about David who welcomed us and showed us around the site and the property, making sure we knew where everything is and comfortable knowing that we have the team on-site if we needed anything, we loved the fresh eggs he brought also. He really gave us a lovely welcome and we knew from that start our trip was going to be perfect. This is a stay for anyone. It has everything you need. We are already planning our next visit.

Very easy to get to, instructions from Sharon with codes to enter and get keys were spot on. I cannot fault the place. As soon as we got there we felt at home. We could smell the cleanliness as soon as entering the lodge, loved the little touches of Christmas tree, and additional decorations. Everything you could want in the kitchen (we bought some essentials, but wasn't needed) even a sandwich toaster was provided! comfy bed and useful sofa bed in lounge, lovely soft 3 piece towel sets for each guest, hot tub towels, fresh coffee, toiletries....the list goes on! We have stayed at another lodge in Cambridge, but this one far surpassed its facilities and our expectations, like the welcome hamper with Proscecco - Thanks Sharon :-) It was a very relaxing stay, peaceful, wonderful outlook, great size hot tub (pre heated and ready to go!). We even braved the cold to say hi to our four legged neighbours, Alpacas were very curious and posed well for photos. The kids thoroughly enjoyed their stay and we will most certainly be returning, hopefully in the summer to make full use of the outdoor area i.e. bbq!

Absolutely Perfect Stay! The Worth House is ideally located - just a short stroll from the river and city center, yet far enough to offer peaceful, traffic-free evenings. It's one of those rare finds that you wish could be replicated everywhere you travel, but its unique charm is simply irreplaceable in a chain setting. Our room was more than spacious; it was beautifully appointed with a wonderfully cozy atmosphere. Every detail, including the fully-equipped amenities, added to our comfort. The thoughtful touches, like our own coffee maker complete with a selection of Costa coffee capsules and daily-replenished cookies, truly made a difference. Maria and Guido were exceptional hosts who went above and beyond in every aspect. From the award-winning breakfast (deservedly so!) to their kindness in accommodating a late check-out and providing local tips, they were phenomenal. They even shared their recipe for an enviable English breakfast and made every conversation a delightful experience. Can't wait to return!

The hosts were incredibly friendly and attentive. We thought we’d arrive late because of a train strike and they made it really easy for us to check in. The rooms were squeaky clean and done up with taste. As someone in need of a coffee shot first thing in the morning I much appreciated the coffee machine offering a selection of different types of good quality coffee (cappuccino, americano, decaf…); there’s a kettle in the room if you prefer tea. The breakfast was delicious; you could have any type of egg or interpretation of an English breakfast you fancied. The double espresso was the final give away that we stayed with hosts that did their Italian roots proud :-P

Amazing hosts, so helpful and friendly. Room was very clean, bed super comfortable, and lovely shower. Breakfast couldn't be faulted, very tasty. Guido is a great guy who really goes out of his way to ensure everything is perfect. Maria was so accommodating with breakfast, she spoilt my husband, he was very happy 😊 Wouldn't hesitate to return.

This is the one of the best bed and breakfasts we have ever stayed in. The location is perfect - 15 minute walk to the city or bus stop 200 metres away. The attention that Guido and Maria lavish on their guests is outstanding. Comfy room with robe and slippers. Fridge stocked daily with complimentary water and fresh milk as well as tea, coffee and a variety of biscuits. Two bedside reading lamps that you can really read with and 2 comfy chairs! The bathroom is a decent size with a large shower cubicle and lots of fluffy towels that are changed daily. However, the best bit of all is Maria's breakfast! Lots of choice and freshly cooked to order. Every table has it's own toaster and the filter coffee (or espresso/cappuccino if you prefer) was so good even the American guests were impressed! Guido keeps everyone entertained!

Unfortunately we missed our first night of our two-night stay which was a shame as Worth House is a delightful place to stay. Craig and Maria are charming and chatty hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. We were made to feel valued guests and enjoyed a friendly and tasty breakfast (included in the price which isn't a guarantee with B&Bs these days!). The room was quirkily and comfortably decorated with both a fan and a heater along with plenty of storage for clothes. Charming touches were water, chocolate bars, deluxe coffee bags and luxury toiletries. The power shower was also great. We will definitely back for a stay with them in Cambridge. It was a 15 - 20 minute walk into the city centre, much of it along the River Cam.

Well appointed modern kitchen with all utensils etc. needed for cooking most things you would like, with spare fridge space, and lots of delivery/restaurant suggestions also. Supplied cereals, bread, jams, yoghurts means a simple breakfast was easy even if you didn't have time to cook anything. Exquisitely clean all round, and new ensuite bathrooms and spacious showers with good pressure/temperature, and supplied soap and shower gel, cap etc. Good lighting all round and welcoming. Beds are very comfortable with plenty of pillows, parking available. A nice lounge too for a change of scene. Teas/coffee in rooms and a wardrobe with full-length mirror. Building is excellently maintained and kept to highest standards/ fire regs. etc. Heating was a bit warm for my preference by default, but can be turned down/off at the radiator as required. Defintely welcoming on cold days though! The illuminated blue "Autumn House" signs on the wall pillars makes it much easier to find when driving. Al and his wife are super welcoming and approachable. All in all I was as comfortable as at home, if not moreso. If you need a stay in cambridge, especially near the airport, I would choose them over IHG/Pemier Inn etc. any day :)

This is an absolutely exceptional accommodation that is rarely seen. The house has been recently renovated and is furnished in a modern style. All the details have been thought of, such as shelves and hooks in the shower, plug adapters for European plugs, etc. The breakfast room and lounge are very well equipped and spacious. The city centre is within walking distance. On arrival, the very friendly landlord provided us with a wealth of information - from sightsseeing, over tips to transport, tips on taxi use to recommendations for nearby restaurants.

The Host Al De Luca was welcoming, friendly and very helpful. The whole hall, dining area and bedroom were absolutely spotless. I remember thinking that if the room was on 'Four in a Bed', no-one would find anything amiss. There was a free breakfast of cereal, milk and yoghurt. In the room, there was plentiful tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water. The room was warm, which was helpful as the weather was cool. There was a bus stop nearby with frequent buses into the centre. We left our car there. They took bus passes. Would thoroughly recommend Autumn House.

Loved the hotel and are going to recommend it to our friends and family who are planning a visit to the city. Perfect value for money)) The room was clean and cozy with a comfortable bed and all the amenities. Very quiet at night. Had a nice breakfast in the kitchen cum dining room on the ground floor. It was a big bonus to be provided with an assortment of complimentary cornflakes, jams, bread, yoghurts. So were well charged for the day. The staff was friendly and ready to meet all our requests.

We had a daytime event to attend in Cambridge, and needed to be away early in the morning. That made this property ideal for our needs. Free onsite or free on-street parking. Convenient shared area in kitchen/diner, with complimentary breakfast items meant that we could wake early and prep our own breakfast and get on the road promptly. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, with a lovely ensuite. Just what we needed. Also on a good walking and/or bus route to central Cambridge.

My stay at Leverton House was brilliant. Wendy was such a welcoming host. The room was perfect for me - spacious, cosy and extremely clean. It was calm and quiet, I slept very well and found the bed really comfortable. The home-cooked breakfast was delicious and beautifully served. There were several buses stopping nearby which was really convenient, and on one day I took a lovely walk along the river to the city centre which took me about an hour. I can highy recommend Leverton House and would definitely stay there again.

Owner was extremely helpful. The room was small but clean and comfortable with a lovely ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was lovely -fresh fruit salad both mornings and continental style breakfast. Although it is outside of the city the Park and Ride is just down the road so very convenient. Parking is available on the street next to Leverton House.

A comfortable room and delicious breakfasts with a wide variety of options. Wendy was the perfect host, friendly and helpful. She could not do enough for us. It was in a perfect location, very handy for the Park & Ride. We would definitely stay again & can thoroughly recommend it.

we spent a relaxed weekend at turing locke cambridge, and it felt just right—cozy without being over the top. we arrived friday evening, checked in quickly with a friendly smile, and headed up to our studio. opening the door, we found a bright, uncluttered space: a small kitchenette for morning coffee, a comfy couch for lazy afternoons, and a window that framed the courtyard below. saturday began slowly. we grabbed flat whites at the café—smooth, no fuss—and sat outside watching the neighbourhood wake up. the gym was quiet when we popped in for a quick workout, and afterward we wandered into town (a short bus ride away) to explore the galleries and shops. back at locke, the courtyard was our go-to spot: a few chairs tucked under trees, perfect for a mid-afternoon chat. later, we made our way to the rooftop terrace for a simple spritz and watched the sky turn soft pink. the staff settled in glasses beside us, friendly but unobtrusive. sunday was about easy moments: a warm, rainfall shower, packing at our own pace, and one last coffee in the lounge before heading out. housekeeping slipped in clean towels with a quiet “enjoy your day,” which felt like a small but thoughtful touch. turing locke cambridge strikes a nice balance—more laid-back than a hotel, without feeling too homey. it’s comfortable, straightforward, and has just enough personality to make you want to stay a little longer.

Good location, 1.5 miles from the centre, Self-contained studio which was clean and comfortable, coctail bar, restaurant, roof top bar. Plus local supermarket near. Bus to Cambridge, every 20 mins. Very enjoyable stay. Staff very friendly and welcoming.

Friendly and helpful staff. Everything very clean and modern. Design and colour in the apartment room was nice. Lovely restaurant and outdoor seating area downstairs. Rooftop Bar and Pizza place was a great space and the pizza was delicious.

This aparthotel was a great choice for us, only a 15 minute drive to the centre of Cambridge and there were many amenities around the hotel. We spent our day in Cambridge but ate/drank at the bars and restaurants that were a 2 minute walk away from the hotel. The value for money was extremely good. Just one thing to note was parking at the hotel was £15 a night or outside the hotel was ringo parking, which after 6pm till 8am is free so we ended up spending less than a £5 so if you get your timings right it’s a great option to save a bit of money. Myself and partner really enjoyed the cocktail bar onsite (deuces) and the roof top bar for drinks and the food at the Astronomer restaurant was incredible. Would definitely recommend and would like to go back.

A solid 10 across the board — Holiday Inn Express Cambourne, Cambridge exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, everything ran so smooth and organised. The location, though a bit outside the city center, offered peace and quiet — a welcome retreat after a busy day in Cambridge. Public transport and parking were both convenient, making it easy to reach the heart of the city. The room was spotless, modern, and surprisingly spacious, with a super comfy bed that gave us a perfect night’s rest. I appreciated the thoughtful touches like plenty of plug points, great water pressure in the shower, and excellent soundproofing. The breakfast was generous, fresh, and well-managed — from hot options to fresh fruit and pastries, it was a great way to start the day. But the real standout? The staff. Every team member I encountered was friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. They made me feel at home, and nothing was too much trouble. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, I’d highly recommend staying here — it’s great value, with top-notch hospitality! ☺️

Nice modern and well maintained hotel in Camborne, just a few miles from Cambridge, and close to the main E-W road. Well laid out compact room, free WiFi and parking. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent bed. 24 HR reception and bar. Cooked breakfast included, but at 9am they were struggling to keep up. No coffee in the machines, no hash browns, tables not cleared, short of cutlery and mugs. This was the only negative, and despite this the breakfast was decent. Star are friendly and professional, and despite my reservations re breakfast service I would definitely recommend this as good value.

Parking was good, and free. The hotel reception area was clean and bright and staff were efficient and friendly. There was a small bar with comfortable seating. Our twin room was compact but fine. The beds very comfortable and there was a small table along with a swivel chair. The shower room was very clean and modern. Complementary breakfast was excellent and staff worked well clearing tables and replenishing the buffet food items.

Bright, modern, attractive decor. Well designed en suite bedroom, useful mid height sockets and for usb. Comfortable bed, very comfortable a/c. Good sound proofing when window shut. Breakfast buffet was constantly being replenished. Young and attentive staff. Free wifi and carpark. We liked the setting of the new town. We ate at the pub - reasonable pub view, served by very friendly willing young staff. Convenient overnight stop on way to or way back from Continent in quieter area than the main A14/M11 road.

This Holiday Inn Extra is amazing and modern. We were welcomed with open arms by Ollie. He made sure we had everything we needed when checking in. It’s the type of thing that you need after a 4 hour drive. He also asked us how our day was when we came back each evening. Such a lovely and hard working person. The air con in the hotel reception, breakfast area and rooms was most welcome as our visit was during a heatwave. Our room was clean, tidy, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was well stocked and was easy to find a seat. The food was tasty and there was plenty to choose from. Ollie and Ajay worked hard to ensure we had the best experience possible and even one night they were short on staff but still managed to cook us pizzas while checking other customers in. This is the first time I’ve done a review before the end of a holiday and I can certainly recommend the hotel. Its proximity to Cambridge and Grantchester meant that it was just a short drive to the park and ride each day. The hotel car park was free, safe and had plenty of spaces. It was also close to the reception doors and lifts. All in all an excellent stay and one day we may return.

Our experience was excellent from start to finish. Firstly the hotel was easy to find. The car park is underneath the hotel with easy access by lift or stairs to reception on the ground floor. Check in was very straightforward and the staff member was very friendly and welcoming. We arrived early so our rooms were not ready, but we were given lots of information about the parking charges, dinner options, breakfast times and gym/pool access etc. We were also given a map with details of how to get to Cambridge centre and some of the best places to visit. The hotel is in a great location just a 10 to 15 minute stroll to the centre of Cambridge where you can shop til you drop or visit the many museums and famous university colleges. The atmosphere at the hotel is lovely with room to relax and have a quiet drink, or have a game of pool, gym or swim if you fancy something a bit more energetic. The restaurant is very nice, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Our room was also great. Equipped with a kitchen consisting of fridge, hob, microwave, sink unit and dishwasher if you fancy a self catering option. The room was very comfortable with first class fixtures and fittings in the large bathroom, plenty of storage space and a very comfortable bed. I could not fault this hotel and all the staff were very friendly and professional, a pleasure to deal with.

I stayed 2 nights in the Attenborough Suite with my son and husband. The suite was great: very clean, spacious, well equipped, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, one of the best we’ve experienced at a Hilton. We dined in the restaurant both nights as part of the package for dinner, bed and breakfast. It was very good with generous portions. The service was warm, efficient and friendly, especially the bar man who made me a fabulous slimline mocktail with lychee and tonic. A special thanks to Nish on reception who was very friendly and helpful. We look forward to staying again in the future.

Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good, although it was buffet style the trays were quickly replenished whenever they were close to empty. Room and bed was comfortable. We tried the small pool which was relaxing and the gym looked clean and well equipped. We both borrowed their bikes (free for 4 hours) for a cycle around Cambridge (I was brought up here so visited some old haunts). It's a 15 minute walk across parkland and back streets into the centre of town. Try the nearby Hungarian restaurant and also the Polish restaurant for great comfort food and friendly service.

Clean, comfortable room. Problems dealt with promptly (see below). Rooms are relatively well insulated from noise so didn't notice the sounds of other guests much. Good kitchen facilities for a hotel room (more extensive than anticipated). Our son loved the spa/pool area. Nice bar downstairs with a free pool table, which actually brought random guests together in a nice way. Non-locals may find it useful to know that this hotel is on the fringe of the city centre - about a 15-20 minute walk into town. This means it is a nice, quiet location (and there are some pubs, bars, and restaurants a short walk away on Chesterton Road - try Restaurant 22 for fine dining, Thirsty for a bar with interesting beer/wine, and Stir for coffee), but it is not in the centre of things if that's what you're looking for (but the trade off is a nice hotel with spacious rooms).

We absolutely loved everything about our stay! The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to start the day right. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The gym facilities were impressive and well-maintained — perfect for a quick workout. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely love to come back again!

We had such a wonderful stay at the Clayton Hotel Cambridge. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning and perfectly located in such a beautiful city. We were kindly upgraded to a gorgeous room (615), which had a really special feel to it — thank you so much for that lovely surprise. The thoughtful gifts left in the room to celebrate my partner’s birthday were such a special touch and made the occasion feel truly memorable. Every member of staff we met was friendly, professional, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The hotel was spotlessly clean and beautifully presented throughout. The in-room breakfast was amazing — fresh, delicious, and beautifully served. We also really enjoyed our dinner at the hotel restaurant — the food was delicious and beautifully cooked. A small tip for anyone visiting: parking nearby is easy to arrange using the JustPark app. Thank you again to the entire team for making our stay so special. We can’t wait to come back!

Professional, efficient and friendly staff. ALL staff that we encountered during our stay went over and above to ensure that we were looked after and comfortable. Lunch in the restaurant was excellent, ( sweet potato, chilli and coconut soup/ staff happily replaced the sourdough bread with granary) . Everywhere spotlessly clean and well maintained, Rituals products throughout the hotel, (quality and indulgence)! Very quiet on a Tuesday night stay, best sleep for a long time, air con in room, ridiculously comfortable bed, outdoor balcony. Fridge/ complimentary soft drinks/ water provided in the room. Upgraded re room on arrival, complimentary drinks vouchers, chocolates. Fabulous hotel! Thank you to all of you for your hospitality, will definitely stay with you again!

Clayton Cambridge hotel is a diamond of a hotel. The hotel is situated seconds away from Cambridge train station. Staff on check-in were professional, polite and efficient: everything you want in hotel staff. Room was stunning: the bathroom spacious, the room clean and bright and the bed was SUPER comfy. The balcony offered great views for drinks and a morning coffee. Breakfast was delicious with enough selection to please everyone. I particularly like how there were vegetarian sausages on offer (big thank you to the dark haired, female F&B manager who checked their allergens for me). Overall, quality hotel and I don't think you'll find better for the price point in Cambridge. What a gem!

Such a lovely stay at the Clayton Hotel. Was very clean & the bed was probably the most comfortable bed Iv ever slept in. The food was amazing & the cocktails. The man who made the cocktail was very impressive & helpful with places to go , eat ect. It’s about 20 min walk from the city centre but we got on the tour bus which stops right outside the hotel , was great as we saw lots before getting into the city centre. Lots of pubs , bars & restaurant next to the hotel. Was a lovely relaxing stay.

Amazing stay at the Clayton hotel in Cambridge once again. The room was very spacious and the bed super luxurious and the room very well maintained (great shower). The team were all so helpful and friendly. The best part is the breakfast, so many options, fresh food and they’ll cook your eggs to order, spoiled for choice! I’ll be returning when I come to Cambridge, recommend to any travellers.

Great location right next to the station, very clean and comfy room. Used the swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi which was lovely. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast, lovely selection and all very tasty

The hotel had exceptional facilities! The rooms are completely soundproofed with black out curtains. We had a queen superior room, and it was spacious and had all we needed. There were sockets by the bed. They provided a travel cot for my baby free of charge, and it had a proper comfy mattress in it, not a hard thin board like some places, so she was comfortable. Our bed was lovely and comfy. There was a choice of a feather pillow on the bed or a non feathered one. We had use of swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna (although we didn't get chance to use these as we was venturing out and was only there for 1 night). Breakfast was exceptional, with plenty of variety, fresh food, and hot. Staff was all friendly and fabulous. This hotel is probably the first I've been to where I have no negatives to say (and I'm a very picky person). Lots to do nearby, train station a minutes walk away. Recommended to everybody whether it's business or leisure! It's catered for all. There was even a decent iron in the room. Suitable for disabled as there is a lift to upper floors. And lastly to add, our room was absolutely spotless! We're already planning our next trip back!

Friendly welcome, reception staff were knowledgeable and helpful, communal areas clean and comfy. Parking was a decent price and convenience shop opposite which was handy. Location for train station was amazing with just 1 stop to Cambridge centre. Room- Nice linen, comfy beds, very clean, nice toiletries (though I think the shampoo was actually just shower gel and no conditioner). Great TV with radio and ability to cast from devices. Effective blackout blinds, and despite proximity to train station was very quiet. Temperature control was good. Poor hospitality try! Breakfast- poorly staffed, cereals/ bread/ pastry options were basic, juice machine was poor quality, coffee machine had good options. Cooked breakfast was nice. Continental had a nice variety. Bar/ Restaurant- poorly staff, but nice food, adequate drink selection Leisure facilities- nice pool, adequate gym, changing room cramped with little room for sitting/ putting things down. Lockers were difficult to lock. No spinners or bags for wet swimming costume/ trunks. Loads of towels.

We had a fantastic stay, our room was lovely and clean, the bathroom had a fantastic shower big enough for 2 people and it was very quiet I’m not sure if anyone else was booked in on our floor. Robes and slippers provided in the room too as well as a coffee machine which I thought was fantastic. The staff were great and so friendly, breakfast was great with so much to choose from. Coffee is also fantastic there! We were pleasantly surprised with the gym area how ever we couldn’t find the bar for the bumper weights. The pool was nice, it would be better if there was an adults only time slot as it was busy it was difficult to do proper lengths. We would stay again and bring our children next time, there was a lot of families (I presume as it’s Easter holidays) and it felt like a very family friendly hotel. Overall the hotel felt clean and modern.

Lovely staff at all levels, excellent food. We had breakfast on both mornings -nicely cooked food, good coffee, well prepared fruit, pastries and toast available too. All plentiful and a very attentive staff-clearing plates and replenishing the buffet. We also ate dinner one night and again the staff were friendly and attentive and the food was plentiful, nicely cooked and tasty. The atmosphere at breakfast and in the bar and restaurant area on the Saturday was lively and busy. it was charming. It was a bonus to find that there was a train service into Cambridge and London so close. The parking was ample and close.

The staff were incredibly helpful: I called ahead to request an ironing board and iron, and to see if a late checkout was possible, and they were very accommodating. The guy on reception was so friendly and welcoming, helped me when I couldn’t get the kettle to work (socket issue), and let me store my luggage for a couple of hours. Felt very at home and safe there as a solo female traveller. There are two (possibly 3) rooms in the loft, really clean, well appointed with little kitchenettes that had everything you could need (even a microwave + combi oven). Shower was good and bed comfy. Radiator was effective and the views from the balcony doors into the park were lovely. Breakfast was perfectly fine, coffee machine decent if you add an extra shot, fresh pastries were nice, toast, cheese slices and ham - simple but enough for me and good value for the price / for Cambridge!

First impressions very good, attractive building, subtle colours, modernised but with original features. Friendly receptionist who let us leave our bags until check in. Great location. Room: spacious and very clean. Bed a touch hard but that’s personal. Lots of kitchen equipment which I’m not sure you’d use but if I was staying long enough to use it I’d definitely need more clothes space. No wardrobe but a small hanging area and no chest of drawers. Bathroom: very clean with lovely hot water. I’m short so being able to fit next to sink to use mirror a bonus. Large window area but no view as blocked by trees which also keep morning sun off balcony. Lots of sockets including usb and long mirror in a place where you can use it! Well done. Breakfast: tasty continental options, which were regularly topped up, plus a coffee machine and views over Parker’s Piece. Smooth check out and able to leave bags until later in the day. Two small disappointments: why are all hotels, including this one, so mean with the amount of milk they put in room? Sadly when we arrived in room my husbands bag had been damaged. We spoke to reception regarding this when we left. We were not expecting or hoping for compensation only for an acknowledgment and apology. Unfortunately it was implied that we had caused the damage as the only person who had had contact denied any knowledge. An enjoyable stay marred only by bag incident.

Clean comfortable hotel conveniently located on the way to town, overlooking Parker's Piece. We had a room with a kitchenette and a balcony; the room was quiet, spacious, and had a lovely view of the park. Reception staff were very friendly. Breakfast was fairly basic but adequate. Plenty of cafes, pubs and restaurants in the neighbourhood so it doesn't matter that the hotel doesn't have these facilities. Will definitely stay here again.

The location was perfect. Close to the city centre and surrounded by restaurants, the park and everything you need to have a wonderful stay in Cambridge. At the Hotel, I was upgraded to a very nice room. Everything was super clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. What I loved the most about my stay here was the very friendly yet professional staff. Merita at reception specifically went above and beyond to accommodate my requests. True guest experience / customer service orientated person. Very kind and bubbly too. The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast. Overall it was a great stay and I would come back.

Our stay at The Regent Aparthotel in Cambridge exceeded our expectations in every way. Initially, we anticipated a standard hotel room, but what we found was a delightful surprise—a mini apartment offering ample space and excellent facilities. Upon entering our accommodation, we were immediately struck by its cleanliness and stylish yet simple decor. The design was both functional and aesthetically pleasing, providing us with a comfortable and welcoming environment for our one-night stay. One of the highlights of our experience was the flexibility provided by the mini apartment setup. It gave us the freedom to relax and unwind in a way that a traditional hotel room simply couldn't offer. It felt more like a home away from home rather than just a place to sleep for the night. Additionally, the continental breakfast provided by The Regent Aparthotel was delicious and offered a variety of options to suit different tastes. Overall this was an amazing place to stay clean comfortable and convenient to get into Cambridge town centre and a lovely pub two minutes walk from the hotel. The breakfast was lovely cereal, continental breakfast and a cooked breakfast the staff were very helpful and friendly. It was easy to check in with the key boxes as it is self check in and the lovely lady Jada on the phone was very helpful and we entered very easily. The only thing I have to say is that we stayed in room 7 and the shower was very hot and could not get it to cool seemed to be stuck on the hot setting but we fixed it. There were extras in the room tea coffee and hot chocolate, shower gel and shampoo, even a nice pair of slippers, iron and hairdryer. Would most definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again next time I visit Cambridge.

It feels very welcoming. Well maintained and clean. We stayed in a family room that is quite spacious and very well equipped. Plenty of tea and coffee, even some biscuits and mineral water were waiting for us near the kettle 😄. Beds are very comfortable. Gentleman who served us breakfast was very friendly and attentive. Very convenient location, not too far away from the city centre. There is also a nice and quiet pub few doors down that serves good food. Would definitely recommend a stay and may be coming back sometime 😁

The property was spacious and clean, modern decor inside and out. Our room was extremely good value for money, the breakfast was amazing, loads of options available, helpful and very friendly staff. We had a really comfortable stay, I can’t rate it enough. If we find ourselves in Cambridge again I’d definitely go back to stay here!

Easy to find, with very friendly, informative and helpful staff. Lovely clean room. Had twin beds with shower Ensuite, TV, etc. We found it quiet, despite being on what I would class as a main road, and a great location for accessing Cambridge itself and the railway station. Owner kindly arranged a taxi for me to the station as well as recommending places to visit and eat out at. Had a lovely full English breakfast with juice and coffee which set us up for the day. Any dietary needs were met by the owner on request, very helpful with this. Would definitely stay there again on a return visit to Cambridge, if they had the dates available.

Where do I start? Communication was excellent with the booking. When we arrived earlier than expected, the lady arranged and spoke with the wonderful housekeeper Itan, who got our room ready. What a wonderful, helpful, and kind young lady who went above and beyond for us. Itan is an asset to the guest house. An amazing sleep and an amazing breakfast by amazing hosts. Location, food, my partner loves the jacuzzi in our room.

We stayed in a lovely room overlooking the high street .it was clean and spacious. Although we were overlooking the high street, it was quiet. There were complimentary shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. A hairdryer, iron, and ironing board were also in the room. The hotel is central to the town and near the bus station. It is decorated, beautiful throughout it, has a nice beer garden, and the flower displays are amazing . Food looked amazing, although we never ate in the hotel. last time we visited, we did, though, and it was tasty, and it's reasonably priced All the staff at the hotel are friendly and are happy to help you Will be staying again.

Lovely, clean room, with a large comfortable bed. Even though our room was at the front, we weren't bothered by any noise from outside. The welcome pack and message from the room cleaning staff was a lovely surprise. It was also nice to have coffee bags instead of sachets of instant coffee. What also impressed us was the fact that, when we were late leaving the room, the staff left a change of towels and a replacement bag of coffee, tea etc. outside the door. All in all the staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful. We dined in the restaurant and had breakfast each day and the food was excellent.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff, fabulous location, great food, really good coffee. Room & bathroom were spacious & scrupulously clean, bed comfortable & fluffy white towels. Wifi strong and parking not far at £4 a day. For me it was the little things that made my stay exceptional. The handwritten note from the housekeeping team, the radio playing low when I entered my room, fresh milk available & the generous toiletries.

Our room was clean and well laid out. The hotel itself was very spacious, plenty of seating and clean. Lovely breakfast. We didn't eat an evening meal there so can't comment. Staff attentive, friendly and chatty. Overall a relaxing experience and would definitely stay again. Location perfect.

We arrived and everybody was so friendly. We were able to quickly and efficiently get checked in. The next day, Hayley served us in the restaurant for breakfast and answered any questions we had about the food as breakfast in the UK is very different compared to breakfast in the US. We did have a hard time getting an Uber from the hotel to the museum that we had planned to go to but Emily was able to get a cab for us very quickly and we were able to be at the museum right when they opened which was our goal. Everybody there was very friendly and helpful. Duxford is a very small town with few accommodations but I'm glad we found this place. It's very cozy and quaint, the rooms were clean and comfortable and I would definitely stay here again. And I loved the art and just the general vibe of the hotel. It was quaint yet modern.

The hotel is delightful! We really wish we were staying longer, especially to be able to try the Tipi area in the garden which looked so appealing and cosy! The decor and artworks are eye catching and fun. The staff were all really welcoming and friendly. We were especially impressed by the bar man who made our cocktails when we returned from the Heritage Live concert. He really knew his stuff, was so professional and enthusiastic and the cocktails were stunning!! Our room was beautiful, very comfortable beds and lovely little touches like the brownies and Nespresso coffee which all make a difference. Great shower too!

We booked The Lodge at Duxford after being given concert tickets to attend Sir Tom Jones in concert at Audley End House, we didnt spend a huge amount of time at the lodge due to the timescale but what we did was amazing, the staff were really friendly, helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble, they even had a member of staff in the bar making cocktails which were amazing on our return from the concert which was a really lovely touch and very much welcomed. The breakfast was really lovely and nicely presented. The room we stayed in was clean, tidy and comfortable as was the bathroom which has a lovely large shower, There was a decanter in the room with a very yummy drink in which again was a lovely touch. There is some lovely outdoor areas it was just a shame we didnt have more time to spend there. Audley End House was a short taxi ride away so the lodge was in an excellent location, the staff gave us a contact number for a taxi company who were very polite and prompt, a big thank you!

Breakfast was excellent; good portion size, and included black pudding, which is always a treat with hotel breakfasts. The coffee was excellent. Location was absolutely great for visiting Duxford; it's literally just across the M11 from the museum. It's also convenient for Cambridge, being a little over a mile from a station. Room was spacious, bed was very comfortable, and the shower was clean and functional. No issues with the shower at all. Plenty of space in the car park, a fresh and smooth surface down, and also mostly flat. We arrived on 'flat iron steak night', which was very welcome after a long ride down from yorkshire. Very good value for that much food.

Room was spotlessly clean, nice bedding and pillows , lovely bar area outside, and nice and quiet. We eat in the restaurant and whilst the menu is a bit limited the food we had was delicious. Nice bar area with good cocktails and a great cocktail barman .

I took my husband to the Gonville for his 50th birthday. Communication via email when I was trying to book the room was very poor and I often didn’t receive a response. On arrival the young man on reception was extremely helpful and welcoming. Our room was just a classic king but the room looked tired. There were stains on the carpet and the bathroom was slightly dirty and needed a revamp. However, we did have a complimentary bottle of Prosecco in the room as it was my husband’s birthday. On our second night we went for a drink at the bar after a meal out . We asked to order cocktails but were told they were shutting the bar down soon so were unable to have any (it was about 10.30). A short while after one of the bar staff started making a cocktail for someone else! Prices were very expensive with service charge added automatically. Breakfast was very good but the staff could have been more attentive. I had to ask one of the waiters to order our cooked breakfast as we were overlooked. One highlight of the weekend was the Bentley tour with Zane. He was very friendly and knowledgeable . Would recommend. The setting of the hotel however is lovely and with a few tweaks could be amazing!

Arrived early and was very pleased they allowed us to check in,the young man on reception was welcoming and very helpful. The room was large and nicely decorated and everything you needed. Very nice bar/lounge area,good ambience and a very good barman who makes the best cocktails. We booked the complimentary Bentley tour with Zane. Had a great time being driven in luxury with a very knowledgeable gentleman driving us. The breakfast was quite nice but nothing special. As for the evening meal that was excellent good quality products. The only negative thing I have to say was the evening we had our meal for my birthday, started special with cocktails in the bar then went into the restaurant and was seated in the glassed window area which was nice but there was no lights on ,no candles or tealights no atmosphere. I had to ask waitress to put lights on as I felt we had been put in someone's unused conservatory it spoilt the whole experience. I don't want to leave on a negative so I would just like to say the young man on reception and the one behind the bar and of course Zane made for a really enjoyable stay.

We had a significant birthday celebration with some friends over the weekend and we chose the amazing Gonville Hotel for it. From the beginning to the end we had such a great experience. The hotel staff was very helpful arranging all the different bookings and accommodated last minute changes. Our stay at the hotel included a Bentley Ride to the nearby picturesque villages that surrounds Cambridge which we thought was an amazing extra service to make the hotel stand out from the others in Cambridge. Our driver, Mike had a wealth of knowledge about the area and the history. He shared interesting stories with us and made the 1 hour journey very enjoyable and fun. Highly recommend him! The rooms very comfy and even had a pillow menu. We dined at their restaurant for breakfast and dinner and the meals were all high quality with very attentive waiters. All in all we all very much enjoyed our stay there and we will be back hopefully at Christmas time to experience their magical decorations and culinary feast. Thank you Hotel Gonville!

We had an amazing weekend away for my partners birthday. First, we had beauty treatments done by Edyta. She was friendly and professional. My partner had never had a massage before and he really enjoyed it. I had a facial which was relaxing and made me glow. It wasn’t rushed and she took time and effort in her routine. We stayed in a superior king room which was lovely. The bed was comfy and the room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was very good, we had the full English and eggs Benedict. I had pre booked the Bentley tour. Our driver was Zane and he was friendly and knowledgeable. It was a lovely drive around the area in a classic Bentley pointing out places of interest. It was a lovely end to our weekend away. The city is about a 10 minute walk away which was perfect.

A group of ladies of a certain age, met up for a weekend and stayed at the Gonville. All the important stuff was excellent: the staff were kind, friendly and incredibly helpful; our rooms were clean and comfortable, the beds were wonderfully comfortable. We loved the jazz (Friday evening and Saturday evening). We had drinks and nibbles before going out to eat, each evening, and both were very nice and reasonably priced. We didn’t eat any meals other than breakfast. There was a good selection of hot or buffet breakfast items. Unfortunately the coffee machine was broken and they were a bit short staffed, so sometimes you didn’t get exactly what you’d ordered (something like avocado might be missing) but the staff stayed professional and pleasant despite being stressed. A bonus of staying at the hotel is that you can book one of the two Bentley cars for a trip around the villages and countryside (it does book up quickly, so book before you go!). Three of us booked a trip and Mike, our driver, was very pleasant, knew his stuff and made a good, and entertaining, tour guide, which made the excursion a lovely finish to a great weekend.
