Location is awesome. Staff were professional and friendly. Rooms are very big. Loved the jacuzzi bath. The bed and pillows were really comfy. Perfect night sleep. The bedrooms and waiting area was very clean.

Quiet location but vey handy for Cardiff Bay. Beautiful historic building. Huge bedroom and bathroom with a large jacuzzi bath. Helpful friendly staff. Good buffet breakfast with eggs cooked to order.

Close to Cardiff Bay Area, nice and reasonably priced bar area, concert hall in the middle, comfortable room with jacuzzi, tasty breakfast buffet, great staff.

Gorgeous hotel. We stayed in a room that was beautifully decorated. The Jacuzzi bath was amazing. And great to have hair conditioner included in the toiletries too. The staff at reception and in the bar were very friendly and helpful too. Superb location for Cardiff Bay.

The location was great , 7 mins walk to the Cardiff Bay Millennium Theatre where we were watching s show , and Stay suites hotel apartments have a lovely position right by the waterside. The facilities are fantastic , we booked the king bed suite apartment which was bigger than expected with a separate lounge kitchenette area, mini hall way , large ensuite and big bedroom. Impressed with the kitchen as it had lots utensils and dishwasher, oven etc. Bed was soo comfy. Onsite their is a gym and an area where you can purchase wine , basic foods if you need stuff on arrival. Around the corner from the building 3 mins walk is a one stop supermarket as well. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a help your self buffet in the open dining area downstairs , lovely croisants , cakes, a pancake machine , fresh fruit , english breakfast ( lots of choice) , and great coffee tea and juice. Their Car parking onsite is £10 per day and is secure. We will be back to stay , highly recommend this place as the hotel apartments are fantastic and hotel staff so helpful.

Stayed for one night. Went for the king suite which was quite expensive but the room was lovely. It was clean, modern and relatively spacious. Only let down really was a view of the car park. We weren’t there for the view though. The staff were very welcoming and lovely. The bed was super comfy, and the shower was nice too. Parking was definitely at a premium though and we weren’t glad we arrived early and didn’t take the car back out as late in the evening the car park was overflowing with people choosing to park wherever they wanted. Included breakfast was a selection of cereals, fruits, yogurts and fried foods (sausages, eggs, hash browns). It was fine and we had no complaints with it. You can help yourself to whatever you want too. Overall, a really nice place to stay. Room: 5/5 Bed: 5/5 Included breakfast: 4.5/5 Staff: 5/5 Cleanliness: 4/5 (There was an olive that I think lives on the stairwell as it was there everytime we used the stairs)

The location of the hotel is in a good neighbourhood within walkable distant to the town centre. The room renovation is modern and the studio room is very clean and comfortable. The full kitchen suit our way of travelling as we can cook our own dinner. A little downside about the room is that there is one chair with the dinning table. It makes us a little bit odd to enjoy our dinner in the room. It will be much better if second chair is there. There was a fire alarm that interrupted our sleep that made us evacuate at 2am. This is probably not the hotel's fault. The hotel's staff handled this well. The included breakfast is delicious and quality is good. Angel, which is one of the staff in the breakfast area, is a very friendly and proactive on providing services to the hotel guests. She offered assistance before we even asked for it. Thumbs up.

I recently stayed at the Staybridge Suites in Cardiff for the weekend and had an excellent experience. The location is ideal — perfectly positioned between Cardiff Bay and the city centre, making it easy to explore the main attractions. The suites were modern, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with a full kitchen, which made the stay feel very comfortable and home-like. The complimentary breakfast each morning was a great touch, offering a wide range of options, and the evening social events created a welcoming atmosphere. Staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to assist. Overall, I would highly recommend Staybridge Suites Cardiff for anyone looking for a relaxing, convenient, and well-appointed stay.

The majority of the hotel was clean and smelled fresh. The room was lovely with a great balcony view and the kitchen was equipped well. The staff were all lovely, friendly and very helpful and the buffet breakfast was great.

My sister and I booked a room at this hotel while we're in Cardiff to see a concert. We were immediately impressed by the clean, cosy & welcoming entrance & coffee shop, particularly how safe and secure it felt. The front of house staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean, and very cosy. We particularly loved all the Welsh details. The bed was comfortable and we both slept really well. We enjoyed a hot, powerful shower in the morning followed by a delicious breakfast buffet, and a very welcome late check out. The upstairs bar looked great too, a must for next time! Overall a very enjoyable stay - good value for money and an ideal location for shopping, the Utilita Arena or the Principality Stadium. We parked in the NCP Greyfriars (a short walk away) and had a discount code from the hotel which made the 24 hour parking really reasonable. The hotel was also happy to keep hold of our luggage after we checked out so we could do some shopping which was really helpful. We will definitely book again 🥰

Perfectly located to enjoy all that the city has to offer. Had a lovely night here with my husband. The hotel was tucked away in Dominions arcade off Queen street, but signposted and easy to find. The staff on arrival were very friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. The hotel smells lovely when entering, clean and fresh. Our room was clean and comfortable. We liked the little touches like the cold bottles of water and a bottle of beer in the room. Also the robes. The bed was comfortable and our room was lovely and quiet. The hotel decor style is lovely. Very much a boutique type hotel. The bar on the 6th floor was sophisticated and a lovely place to sit comfortably to enjoy a drink, although the drinks were a little pricey. There’s also a very small rooftop terrace where we enjoyed the views over Cardiff in between rain showers! Breakfast was very nice with a hot and cold buffet. A good selection of fresh food. Also a menu from the kitchen. They also happily accommodated my food preference. The morning following our stay, the maid was very eager to clean the room and came knocking on our door before our 11am checkout time. I would recommend using the ‘do not disturb’ sign until you’re ready to check out if you don’t want to be disturbed. Our stay here was definitely value for money and we hope to be returning for another lovely visit in the near future.

Easy enough to find in its central location. Warmly checked in and given clear directions to the room. Opened the door to the room and we were astounded. Large room. Large comfy bed in it. Large rainfall shower. Quirky twists like an old style phone and a shovel as decor. Wonderful view of the stadium. Super pleased to discover the mini bar was complimentary. We had a lovely couple of glasses in our room before setting out for the evening. The rooftop bar was outstanding. Another great view and really friendly staff. The cocktails were reasonably priced for central Cardiff. Breakfast was easily one of the best buffets I'd had in years. Everything you could think of, and more. In addition, you could order dishes from the kitchen. We had kippers and poached eggs, and a second dish of pancakes and fruit. This will definitely be my go to hotel if I'm in Cardiff again. Highly recommend.

We stayed here for our 5-day visit to Cardiff and area. Our Uber driver had a hard time finding the entrance to the hotel as the entrance is inside the Dominion Arcade. It may be helpful for the hotel to put clearer drop-off instructions for car service drivers on their website. But once we arrived the hotel front desk staff were fantastic. They were always friendly, upbeat, and extremely helpful. The location was excellent. It is right downtown. You can easily walk to the Castle, restaurants, shops, the train, bus station and even the waterfront. Our room was clean. The bed was not the most comfortable but that might be because it was a queen bed, and we were two people. I think if it was just one person the bed would have been fine. Overnight the room was quiet but there was noise in the morning in the room/space above. The breakfast was excellent. Hot and cold options. Hotel dining room staff always escorted you to a table. Tables were clean and cleared as soon as dinners departed. Food and drinks were always replenished at the buffet and at least once dining staff would check in and make sure you had everything you needed. They were fantastic. We had a great stay, and we would recommend this hotel.

Hotel Indigo Cardiff exceeded my expectations from start to finish. The location is perfect – right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore everything Cardiff has to offer. The hotel itself is stylish and full of character, with a boutique feel that makes it stand out. My room was beautifully designed, comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were professional, friendly, and always ready to help with anything I needed. They really added a personal touch that made my visit feel special. Breakfast was delicious, with a great range of options and fresh, quality ingredients. I also really appreciated the rooftop bar and restaurant – a lovely spot to unwind in the evening. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone staying in Cardiff.

Stayed for a night when we escaped the children. It’s walkable to the city centre - we ate at ivy Asia which was amazing. The room was decent and shower room was lovely. No fridge in the room. Sparking sized bed. There is a spa but this is extra. £80 for 1.5 hours if book online of £42 for guests if you enquire and book on the phone. The spa is just a pool with jacuzzi jets some spa beds and a steam and sauna room. Basic but a nice way to relax. They’re not proactive asking if you’d like refreshments but I went out to the desk and asked for Prosecco and it arrived eventually. Breakfast was a let down. No artisan bread left just rubbish thin sliced stuff. No granola just Alpen. No fresh fruit juices just concentrate. Limited fresh fruit options. Wouldn’t book b&b again.

We stayed at The Parkgate Hotel in August as we were attending a concert at Cardiff Castle and decided to treat ourselves to a night in the Parkgate Hotel and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Check-in was friendly and efficient with staff who welcomed us as if we were family. Our Suite was spotless, beautifully designed, and absolutely perfect for a relaxed city break. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, the rainfall shower was powerful, and the little touches (proper coffee, fluffy towels, and a well-stocked minibar) made us feel special. We popped into the lounge for evening drinks; great cocktails and a calm, stylish atmosphere where ,despite being busy the Staff especially Kim had a calm , welcoming demeanour and the service was quick & efficient . Breakfast the next morning was a highlight— A fresh, hot, buffet style breakfast with a wide selection to choose from . Location-wise, you’re steps from the city’s shops , The Castle and not forgetting the Principality stadium next door to the Hotel , so it’s the ideal location for exploring Cardiff . The team at the Parkgate are professional and welcoming and are a credit to the Hotel ,nothing felt like too much trouble. Another perfect stay at the Parkgate Hotel! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless and welcoming. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and professional, special thanks to Lily, Roberto and Richard, who made check-in such a breeze. They went above and beyond by sharing some fantastic local recommendations, which really helped us make the most of our time in the area. Their knowledge and warmth added a personal touch that made us feel truly looked after. Our room was absolutely lovely spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated, and extremely comfortable. The bed was cozy, the amenities were top notch, and we had a beautiful view that made our stay feel extra special. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining both the rooms and the overall guest experience. We also appreciated how quiet and peaceful the hotel felt, even though it's located right in the heart of the city perfect for both relaxation and convenience. Each time we visit, the Parkgate Hotel continues to impress. The consistency in service and quality is genuinely commendable. Thank you once again for another memorable stay. We had a wonderful stay at the Park Hotel. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well cared for, which made for a very relaxing visit. The hotel itself has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere, and all the staff we encountered were friendly and attentive, always happy to help with a smile. During our stay, we also had dinner at the Sorting Room at the Parkgate Hotel, and it was a real highlight. Our server, Mo, went above and beyond to make the experience special – exceptionally attentive without ever being intrusive. The food was excellent, and the beef Wellington in particular was absolutely delicious – perfectly cooked and full of flavor. A practical tip for anyone driving: we parked at Cardiff Central Riverside Car Park, which costs £13.90 for 24 hours and is only about a 6-minute walk from the hotel. Very convenient and good value for the location. Altogether, a fantastic experience both at the hotel and the restaurant. Highly recommended!

We got married in Cardiff last year (2024) and made the Parkgate our wedding hotel. We tried every large hotel in Cardiff before we chose it and it was stand out the best by far. All of our guests commented on the genuine warm welcome and friendliness of all of the hotel employees, the rooms are well appointed and spotless, the restaurant is exceptional for both breakfast and dinner. We returned this year (September 2025) for our first wedding anniversary and discovered that the 5 star service is not reserved only for weddings! We were absolutely thrilled to be back and were delighted to see the hotel has maintained it's impeccable standards of decor, cleanliness, friendly atmosphere, focus on customer experience and exceptional dining. Particular mention to Ryan on the front desk who absolutely understood the assignment, little touches like putting our bags in our room as we were in a rush as well as a lovely card and gift all move this hotel from excellent to outstanding. Giovanna in the Sorting Room restaurant could not have been more welcoming as we excitedly returned for the famous beef wellington, which in itself is worth a trip to Cardiff ! It's really the only choice for a special occasion but I would also highly recommend for any trip to Cardiff, and a visit to the restaurant is an absolute must.

The Hotel building is really lovely, and the car park on-site is perfect! We were greeted with a very warm and respectful welcome by Mario, who checked us in, confirmed that we would like to have dinner and in every respect he could not have been more helpful. Given our late arrival he informed the chef that we would be having dinner. The food and service were outstanding, Stuart was so warm and professional took our food and drink orders and at our request, the chef came out to our dining table so that we could also offer our thanks and appreciation to him too. Our rooms and facilities could not have been better, comfy beds, beautifully equipped shower & bathroom, tea & coffee making facilities, WIFI etc, and in the morning, we enjoyed a fantastic breakfast. We can't recommend this hotel highly enough, our stay was absolutely perfect and again, we want to offer our thanks to Mario, Stuart, Chef and other wonderful staff who waited bar and dining table. Just perfect! We will definitely be returning to stay at Manor Parc!

Had a really lovely stay at this hotel. It’s in such a peaceful little spot, surrounded by trees and fields (even some sheep!), which makes it feel like a proper escape. The hotel itself is beautiful, well-kept, and super clean. The rooms are a great size, spotless, and have everything you need—tea and coffee facilities, an iron and board, and a really nice, spacious bathroom with a great shower. The dining room is elegant, and the whole place has a lot of charm. Breakfast was amazing—quality ingredients, including delicious Welsh bacon and sausages. There’s plenty of parking, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was a really comfortable stay, and I’d definitely come back.

I attended a Celebration of Life at the hotel and was impressed with the service and quality of the food. Staying overnight with family enabled us to eat dinner together -14 of us and we all enjoyed the service and food again. The single room l booked was spacious with a large comfy bed and a shower en-suite with tea and coffee facilities and a large flat screen TV. Breakfast was great with a good variety of juices, cereals, and a full breakfast on offer cooked to order - delicious! A good stay and convenient for the Crematorium where the service was held.

We were only staying for one night and arrived late evening, but everything was great. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. The wifi worked well. The garden facilities looked superb, though we didn't have time to explore. There was a large party taking place when we arrived, but it was easy to find a quiet spot in the bar for a relaxing drink. Altogether, a very enjoyable stopover, I'd be glad to re-visit.

I absolutely loved this hotel. From the greetings when I arrived, to the spotless (like, really spotless) room to the delicious breakfast, everything was perfect. There was a wedding so they made sure my room was far away from any noise. I wanted some herbal tea , I asked at reception and they immediately brought a selection. All staff members were professional, polite and friendly and all the communal rooms were warm and welcoming.

excellent location, within walking distance from the Cardiff Central Train Station, and also within walking distance (around 5 minutes) from the Cardiff Castle, and other tourist attractions. Very cosy, and 'home-alike' place to stay for your holiday:-) quite & relaxing, very welcoming. Our room was ready sooner than expected, and we could also leave our luggage before checking in. Similarly, on the departure day, we could also leave our luggage after checking out - that was very helpful:-) Breakfast - already prepared for you in a paper bag - you got a croissant with ham and grated cheese, and a sweet pastry. Additionally, you also got fruits (bananas & apples), muesli, yoghurt, flakes, juices (3 types). There was also a coffee machine. The kitchen is very well equipped, so if you like - you could cook a really complicated meal;-) you have a TV in your room, with all those popular platforms (Netflix, Disney, etc.) I would definitely go back to the River House, when I'm in Cardiff next time:-)

Exceptionally welcoming and helpful hosts, exceptionally clean, minutes from bus & train connections & city centre and located along the River Taff Trail, so cycling distance from the harbour front and minutes from the city's beautiful central park and castle. The host has arranged the breakfast and kitchen facilities in a way that promotes friendly interaction amongst guests. The host provides a nutritional breakfast with a wide assortment of food choices.

The room was clean and spacious. Good central location over the River Taff only five minutes walk from Cardiff Central Station but still quiet at night. The kitchen facilities looked modern and clean, but mine was a flying visit so I didn't use them.

Abi and Charlie, the two people who I was most in contact with at the Riverhouse were exceptional as well as the cleaning staff. Any request I made to Charlie and Abi was fulfilled. The Riverhouse's standard of cleanliness was beyond reproach. Breakfast was amazing. Every morning there was assorted pastries, banana nut bread, yoghurt with berries, assorted cereals, oatmeal, juices, milk, and coffee. Also the Riverhouse provides plenty of Biscoff Biscuits to go with your coffee. Needi directions? Not a problem, Abi and Charlie were very helpful always pointing me in the right direction. The Riverhouse also has a kitchen. You are allowed to cook in the kitchen and use the refrigerator to store your food and stove to cook your food. I took advantage of this and saved alot of money in the process. They have a dining area also to sit and enjoy your food, or if you just want to read a book. Check-in was super easy as well as check out. I highly recommend the Riverhouse. Everything is within a few minutes. Restaurants, laundry service, stadium, and night life is just a few minutes away.

The place was warm, You could tell the bedsheets were clean, Room was clean, bed is Comfortable, If you have a question there is a WhatsApp group which contacts you directly to an AI helper and it literally is the best thing ever as you don’t feel like you’re disturbing anyone with your questions even if they’re in the middle of the night. Location is perfect. It’s literally a seven minute walk from the station and 10 to 15 to the stadium. The area is quiet, People are friendly and respectable, The kitchen Has lots of utensils and the living room is really comfortable, Apparently, there was a game room which was too late for me to check out, but that is very cool.

A stunning spa with friendly staff. I spent two hours in and around the pool, jacuzzi and sauna before heading upstairs for a massage and facial from the lovely Kanchan (who was incredible). The whole morning was so relaxing and worth every penny, I can’t wait to go again :)

Wonderful spa day with my mam to remember. Loved the jacuzzi’s and pool to ourselves on a Friday. Had 2 treatments with Bermedethe back massage and facial so professional with care and attention to detail extremely relaxing thankyou! Lovely having the relaxation room with duvets and relaxing lighting after too. Perfect afternoon with my mam.

The day was perfection from start to finish, sheer bliss and relaxation combined with the beautiful scenery overlooking the Bay, it was just what we needed. We collected our robes etc, shut away in the lockers provided and headed to 'Tir a Mor' bar and restaurant for a cheeky prosecco before the indulgence began. The restaurant is spacious with a comfortable yet stylish atmosphere, the staff are welcoming and wonderful, they couldn't do enough for us. The 2 course lunch provided was delicious. We'll definitely return. The spa has a sauna, swimming pool, two jacuzzi style area's with relaxation beds dotted around. There is a gym upstairs adjacent to the spa area also. At the spa waiting area where there's floor to ceiling windows overlooking the tranquil waters with swans and ducks and other wildlife to spot, you'll receive complimentary hot drinks and iced lemon water. The treatment I chose was a bespoke massage, tailored to me, have to mention Marzena was amazing, I highly recommend her services. It wasn't crowded either which was a bonus. After that we were shown to a relaxation room, it was dimly lit, quiet and fresh fruit was provided, we had a dreamy day of treats and can't wait to return.

We have stayed at St David’s hotel many times. As always, our suite on the 7th floor was lovely - spacious, amazing views, comfy bed and excellent bathroom with walk in shower. A warm welcome from James on reception set the tone for our stay - he was friendly, efficient and helpful. A massage and facial with Kanchan were the best I have had. Kanchan is so knowledgeable, friendly, engaging and genuinely cares about her clients. Her expertise and the wonderful Ishga products used ensured two hours of total relaxation. Breakfasts and dinner in the Tir a Môr restaurant were delicious, as were room service meals. The varied menu using local produce provided plenty of choice. In the restaurant, Loretta welcomed us as old friends and like Mackenzie was professional, helpful and nothing was too much trouble, offering any help needed due to my mobility issues. Paul was always cheerful and helpful when delivering room service. Our stay would have warranted 5 stars but there were a couple of negative points - the loo roll was of very poor quality and housekeeping wasn’t up to the usual standard with marks on tables and some dust left on surfaces.. For a stay of more than a couple of nights, a set of drawers in the bedroom would be helpful too. These few niggles aside, it was an excellent stay and we look forward to returning soon.

Welcomed by a very friendly, helpful and efficient receptionist, and upgraded to a 7th floor suite with balcony - which was a pleasant surprise. Well appointed and equipped room - so refreshing to see a few 'drinks' in the fridge and plenty of bottled water (and milk) which has fast disappeared everywhere else - 'save the pennies, lose the pounds' - in my view. Anyway, nice room, Japanese style wash and go pop up toilet which nearly gave me a cardiac arrest in the dark, but an immaculate bathroom, and a huge balcony (for the room, not the bathroom, which would be ridiculous). Sadly, I was at a reception nearby during the evening but retreated to the voco bar on my return to be served by an equally friendly barman, super efficient, and I was pleasantly surprised at the price of a large glass of Chenin 'Blank' (how we laughed). So much so, I had another! Breakfast was well laid out, copious, quality ingredients, and with plenty of well dressed, friendly and efficient staff. My 'cowboy' breakfast of bacon and beans was a joy. Overall, a very good stop and won't hesitate to return. Two observations - not problems but just observations: 1. Music too loud in the dining area in the evening and at breakfast (might be an age thing!). 2. No black pudding at breakfast despite the menu - albeit that I would have probably eaten too much of it so you may have saved me! (and it doesn't go with a 'cowboy breakfast' anyway). ;-)

Exceptional in every way. Host Rob went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. He met us and helped us park, carried our bags up to the apartment where he showed us around and how everything worked. He provided an incredible range of goodies including fresh bread and butter, milk, bottled water, Welsh cakes, nibbles and even a bottle of wine. Plenty of tea and coffee available too. He was so warm and welcoming, greeting us like friends. Nothing was too much trouble. the apartment is spacious, very comfortable and well equipped. Perfect location as it's right in the centre of Cardiff just a couple of minutes walk to St David's shopping centre. Outstanding in every way. We shall definitely be returning.

Totally amazing, perfect place and amazing hospitality from the hosts .. I travel the world and This is one of favorite apartments I ever booked . Bread butter , milk , wine , beer All already in the fridge… Meet by the owner in the private underground parking.. showed us around and how everything worked .. Absolutely perfect.. Couldn’t help recommend more if I tried This is highly, highly recommended. Absolutely everything! The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. Loved the extra touches of fresh flowers and also had drinks,breakfast,chocolates and snacks left for us as a welcoming gift. They went down VERY well with the children. My first stay in an air bnb and I wasn't sure what to expect. I think it is going to be very hard to compete. Location is fantastic and free parking is a major bonus and selling point. Definitely recommend this place to absolutely everyone and will be staying again if we go to Cardiff again. Also have to say the host Rob is a wonderful man. Very warm, friendly and welcoming. Between the apartment, ,location and the host you honestly could not ask for any better.

Perfect location in centre of Cardiff 5 mins walk from train station, bars, restaurants and shops. very clean and beautifully presented apartment with comfortable beds and fluffy soft towels. Rob was a very friendly host who left us drinks, croissants, chocolates, milk, test, coffee etc which was very much appreciated. we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend.

Big apartments, very clean ,cosy in the city center of Cardiff with amazing views and very welcoming friendly , helpful and responding landlord.

There are only 3 rooms in the building we stayed in, it was nice and quiet. There was a large wardrobe and the toiletries and towels in the bathroom were nicely presented, they had also provided a couple of boxes of tissues. We were pleasantly surprised to discover a small fridge with some drinking water in it and some fresh milk for the tea and coffee (the owner told us later that he supplies fresh milk because he dislikes UHT milk in his own tea and coffee). We stayed for 3 nights and had a superb breakfast each morning. I'm pleased I took their advice and booked an evening meal in advance, the restaurant is very popular. Our meal was so tasty that we booked for the following evening too, that meal was also extremely good. The staff were very welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. When I was originally booking the room I was concerned about the check-in time because we were going to a gig in Cardiff on the first night and wouldn't get to the hotel until well after the check-in time. However when I mentioned my problem they replied swiftly and arranged a self check-in which went very smoothly. Parking was nice and close to the entrance to the accommodation. We will definitely be booking again next year when we're back in Cardiff.

This is a lovely pub with restaurant just north of Cardiff. It's in the country but only about 20 minutes out of the city by car. It's set at the bottom of a mountain/large hill, in beautiful countryside. At the top there are views over South Wales and beyond to Somerset. The pub has accommodation attached, with 3 rooms. Ours was comfortable, clean and well-appointed with good facilities. It was quiet in the room even though the pub was sometimes busy. The service-levels were high. The staff were attentive and friendly. They are really can do (where many places are not).. in particular, the owner/front of house manager Rob made sure all customers and guests were looked-after.. The bar staff were great and I want to especially mention Sarah who works there, Maggie and Rob managing the accommodation, they were all great.. Thanks for a memorable experience.

This is the second time we've stayed here. We were in a different room this time and it was equally as lovely as the previous room. There was a fridge in the room with fresh milk and oat milk in it for the tea and coffee provided. The bed was huge and very comfortable and after the pub has closed it's a very peaceful area. Breakfast was gorgeous, we were there for 3 nights and the eggs were perfect every morning. We had dinner in the restaurant on 2 evenings and it was very tasty. The Inn has a car park, so we were able to park close to our accommodation

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant and pub was amazing. The food was very, very good (the best we had in the UK). We didn't need to find a place for dinner when the best restaurant is at the Inn. The breakfast was outstanding. Did I mention how nice the staff was? They could not have been nicer. It is nice there is parking behind the Inn. Highly recommended!

My partner and I had a one night stay and we couldn't have asked for better. On arrival the young lady at the bar and the woman who checked us in were both exceptionally helpful. The room was lovely with the perfect size and temperature but for me it was the fabulous bathroom that sealed the deal! Everything was done with wonderful professionalism and the little touches (proper milk with the tea/coffee things) went a long way to cementing our view that the place was just wonderful. Dinner in their restaurant was lovely and reasonably priced, I'm only sorry that we were too tired to venture down to the pub for a drink because I would have very much liked to. Thank you once again to all the staff who helped us during our stay. This property is a lovely place and for the location (20 mins from central Cardiff) you couldn't ask for better!

Fabulous old property. Amazing decor and amazing high ceilings and period features. All very tastefully done, clean and warm, definitely not old, cold and musty at all. The staff were all very friendly too We were upgraded to a larger room which was very nice. The bathroom had been refitted and looked brand new, with a great shower. The bed was comfortable and WiFi good. The location was very great too, just outside the city and just a 20 mins walk to the castle, either through Bute Park or along the main road. Fee on site parking or free on street parking. Breakfast was great, a choice of cooked breakfasts, plus toast, cereals and fresh fruit.

The room was exceptional, large, quiet best bed yet on our trip and the shower was fabulous. The building was beautiful, full of elegant character. The breakfasts were very good. The location was perfect. Staff was very helpful and helped us book dinner at the Italian restaurant a short walk from the hotel. The restaurant 'Elgano' was one of the best restaurant we have ever eaten at.

Really comfortable stay. Excellent choice for breakfast and really tasty. Room was nice and spacious, comfortable bed, good shower and clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and service was good. Small safe car park. Nice walk through the park into Cardiff town centre. Would stay again if in the area.

A very friendly and helpful proprietor. Steered us towards an excellent Italian restaurant and helped us to fit in our need to change before a wedding. The breakfast was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom ,although small, was clean, modern and had a good shower. However, the other furniture in the room was rather old and battered which let the room down.

The hotel is situated just outside the busy part of the limits but within walking distance of the main shopping and entertainment areas and venues. Clean rooms and hotel and the staff was very polite. Good parking available on site if you bring a car. The rooms are very clean and with added clean bathrooms. The breakfast room can be busy but you are asked to book a time for breakfast which is served fresh to order. You are able to have as much breakfast as you can manage. This is a nice huge Victorian private House/Hotel. The staff are accommodating and polite. A very nice place to staff.

We arrived on the day thet Sting was performing at the Castle, so we expected the traffic and the city centre to be busy. The Beverley is well located, walking distance to the centre, and we got to it without a fuss. We were able to park in the secure parking to the rear. The room was perfect for a shoty stay. It was a warm day. so a fan had been placed in the room; this wasn't required, though. The bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom had been recently updated and was very nice; great shower with plenty of hot running water. The next morning we had the breakfast. Being Gluten Free this is always a challenge. The Beverly were able to provide me with a Full Irish breakfast, without the sausages; which was the thing that made it a full irish. We were offered the Vegan sausage as a replacement, but opted for extra eggs instaid. I had a good fill and was very happy with the meal. The cleanliness of the room, the good breakfast, friendly staff and the great location made it the perfect stay. We shall return.

We arrived early but as our room was ready we were able to check in which was ideal. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was a great size and very clean and had everything you needed, the bed was very comfy with great pillows. It has a Car Park which is safe and secure and gets locked at 11pm. We ate in the restaurant downstairs and the menu had a lot of choice and was very reasonably priced. The evening meal and the breakfast were fantastic. It was about a 20 minute walk to the Castle. We would definitely stay here when we visit Cardiff again. Highly recommended.

What a gem! Was a little concerned that was above a pub but was amazingly quiet, great parking on site and check in was friendly and easy. Rooms bright, clean and large with a comfortable bed and the bathroom was fab with big walk in shower. Added breakfast in the morning which was freshly made to order! Add to that very friendly staff and brilliant location.

This was our second stay at this hotel as our first stay was so good. We travel down with our family to attend the Speedway at the stadium and this hotel is in a perfect location. We had 2 family rooms, both excellent. We had food in the evening and breakfast, plenty of choice, reasonably priced, nicely presented and tasty. The manager and staff are wonderful, so helpful and friendly and goes to make your stay so enjoyable. We would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

I really enjoyed everything about this little pub, the food was excellent in the evening, we were a little late for the roast dinner unfortunately, but the evening menu was full of choice, and at a good price, the staff were very helpful and polite, the room was a big surprise, being a pub I didn't quite expect it to be this nice, comfortable bed, plenty of pillow's of both firm and soft to suit your choice, lovely bathroom and shower, spotlessly clean,towels and soaps provided which were also nice smelling, especially useful for our stay as car had broken down and this wasn't a planned trip so had nothing with us for an unplanned overnight stay Breakfast was really good and a good choice, we opted for the classic cooked breakfast as it includes the continental breakfast so could have the best of both with a cooked breakfast,tea,fruit juice, and pastries all for £8.75, There wasn't anything about this stay not to like, I really enjoyed it, would definitely return again,

Had a fabulous one-night stay in the Malsters. Our twin room on the ground floor was clean, comfortable, with a lovely modern bathroom, and the room had good high quality furniture. Breakfast offering was amazing. We had traditional breakfast, which was tasty, and amazing value. The staff were very friendly. The location is great, with bus stop outside, to get a 10 minute bus ride into city. I would highly recommend this inn.

The staff were all very friendly and professional and a credit to the Maltsters. Although breakfast was not included in the room rate it was available each morning in the restaurant and the hot options were freshly cooked to order and very competitively priced. I slept well and the bed was very comfortable, with little or no noise externally. The room was well appointed and very clean. The bath had a rain shower over it with fairly instant hot water. I would certainly consider staying here again. Regular buses into Cardiff and some very good restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance.

I flew to Cardiff from Hong Kong to visit my siblings and relatives living in the Llandaff area. Location of the hotel was very convenient. Room was clean, spacious and cosy, bed was comfortable, duvet was soft and warm, radiators were available for use if needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. All these had made my stay a very pleasant and comfortable one. I will definitely come back to stay in this hotel in my future visits.

Large, warm, nicely decorated bedroom and spacious bathroom. Lots of hot water. Comfortable bed. We both slept well without any disturbance from the bar. Headboard a little worn in places. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. They couldn't have been more helpful. It was an excellent weekend stay. We will be back.

The location was lovely, the room was quiet, clean and comfortable, with everything I needed. After some work that evening, I had a couple of lovely pints in the bar area next to the open fire, served by a new employee who was polite and welcoming. I had an excellent nights sleep, not too hot/cold and quiet. I used the gym in the morning that has all that you need for a quick work out ( mostly cardio equipment, one running machine ). After this I went for breakfast, welcomed again by another young lady, who was again welcoming and polite. The full English Breakfast was really fresh and tasty and I liked the eating area, as this is a lovely period building. I spoke to Linda ( from memory ) on reception and explained I needed to check out quicker and she was really helpful and said she would have my receipt all printed out on departure which she did. Also again impressed with the service here, as Linda also enquired how my stay was and anything else I needed to let me know. The Hotel didn't appear particularly busy on my stay and a mix of ages regarding guests and I can't comment on the evening food, but going on the breakfast it's probably not going to disappoint. As my first visit to this Hotel and I stay away alot for work at different hotels,I would highly recommend this establishment, it's a beautiful location looking out over the grounds, a period property, with good facilities and helpful and welcoming staff.

Friendly and professional welcome at reception and in the bar. Very comfortable room with a good view, well-functioning heating system and openable windows for fresh air. Spacious and very clean bathroom with both a bath and a shower. Quiet rural location and easy parking. The staff were able to respond to individual requests at breakfast, for example providing plain yogurt and espresso coffee which were not offered as standard.

Great location for exploring Cardiff, plenty of car parking space. Fabulous views overlooking Cardiff Bay. Beautiful bedroom, very clean, comfortable bed and great shower. We enjoyed sitting by the open fire in the lounge. Excellent restaurant, delicious food for breakfast and dinner. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The location is exceptional, with a tremendous view and very quiet. The room was huge, and had doors between the bathroom and bed that added quiet. The staff were amazing and helpful! The shower was just ok. It had a combined waterfall/hand wand, but the water pressure was terrible. The overhead shower was useless, and the hand wand was frustratingly weak. The bed was large, and relatively comfortable for two. It did have a worrying tilt where the feet were higher than the head. Breakfast was anemic. There were choices of juices, cereals, fruit, toast, and some packaged yoghurts. The fruit was in no uncertain terms, pathetic - a combination of children's canned fruit medley. The yoghurt appeared to be the same childish selections. I did have the porridge on two of the days - the first day it was fantastic, and the second it was pasty to the point of being inedible.

Really nice building with a stunning view and a range of eating and relaxing areas, set in a really good location. The room was clean, well proportioned and smart with a comfy bed and big shower. The bar and breakfast room were welcoming and clean. The hotel was also well staffed and the breakfast was very good.

I can honestly and wholeheartedly say that this apartment is exceptional, from the views over the city to the fixtures and fittings to the central location our stay was perfect from start to finish. This was the perfect place for us as a couple and together with our two young children. The added bonus of safe, secure and free parking on site was ideal and the host is so informative, helpful and pleasant. We plan to return here regularly on any future trips to Cardiff, no matter what the reason for visiting. I highly recommend this beautiful apartment.

A modern, clean, comfortable apartment on the 11th Floor with the benefit of on-site parking and a 24 hours concierge. The central location makes it easy to explore all that Cardiff has to offer with an expansive range of shops/department stores and restaurants within walking distance and theatres, university facilitates, historic sites and more only a short distance away. The city sightseeing jump on/jump off tour bus stops opposite the main entrance and is good for seeing all Cardiff has to offer. We had a wonderful 2 night stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend making a booking. The communication from Jay, the owner, was really good with comprehensive arrival instructions and all the information you need for an great stay. Jay couldn’t have been more helpful.

This apartment is stunning, we was all so shocked when we checked in how clean it was. Amazing views, perfect location to the arena was only across the road, so close into the town. Loved that the apartment had one en-suite and another bathroom with a massive bath that included bath salts etc. The beds were all so comfy and the interior in this apartment was amazing! Highly recommend it to anyone who is staying in cardiff as a group, loved it!

The location was exceptional for shopping, there is a parking space allocated which is convenient if travelling via car, and the apartment itself was one-of-a-kind! It's clean, big, and felt luxurious. There is a Nescafe Dolce Gusto machine too if you're a coffee drinker, but plenty of tea bags and the like. Will need to bring/buy milk but that's understandable. Really a great stay with the most comfortable bed too!

Was quiet and peaceful even though it was central. Incredibly handy for the main shops and restaurants. Very comfortable beds and living space. Jay was really helpful and prompt with all our queries and allowed us to leave our car parked for a little extra time which took the stress out of driving through the city.

Apartment was clean, quiet and very well appointed. Everything you would need for a comfortable stay was provided, including toiletries, dressing gowns and slippers. Town centre is minutes away as is Cardiff Castle and the water taxis down to Cardiff Bay. Loved the view of the river.

Perfect for us, location and space. Walking distance to Cardiff Castle and Principality Stadium. The apartment was clean, bed was comfy and all the amenities needed were there. The customer service responded quickly to our text. Check in and Check out was smooth. Feel safe to stay there.

Check in was easy - free parking from 6pm to 8am within 50 metres. Bit noisy, area a little run down, but overall good. Property is comfortable and clean. Has iron, ironing board, wifi, good kitchen facilities, bed comfy and nice white company toiletries

We generally enjoyed our stay. The apartment is directly across from the stadium and a rugby stadium and so just be aware if there are events taking place. Otherwise it’s a rather quiet area right on the river. It is about a 5-10 minute walk to food including groceries. The train station is about 10 minutes as well. Overall good! We showed up during a few hot days and so the lack of A/C was a little bothersome but not huge. Our shower wasn’t great (clogged up to overflow within minutes and difficult to control water temperature) but we reported this and they stated it would be addressed.

We have a very positive and memorable experience in Future inn hotel when we booked our daughter’s 18th birthday party. Mr Noli Labid the event manager has walked us through all the time since day 1 of planning until the end of the event. He has personally supervised the event to perfection . He made sure everything was in place and organised before and during the event and made it more special beyond expectation . His work ethics proves his wide experience and expertise in his management role.The kitchen crew headed by the chef himself has cooked and served scrumptous buffet that everyone loved and enjoyed, Compliment to the Chef and the team special mention to Jeff for his staying over his time to assist and was very accomodating All my party guests has positive comments too with the venue and the service. The hotel is clean and modern .The staff are accomodating and enthusiastic to assist guests We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast served in Thomas restaurant. Lovely feel to this hotel. Great decor and the bar and restaurant areas were beautifully done and felt great to spend time in. The restaurant and bar staff were all exceptional- friendly, helpful,attentive in a very non intrusive way. Also loved the water stations in reception and on every floor and there was even an ice machine and a laundry guests could use - Genius touch!

Excellent hotel, comfortable rooms, very friendly, helpfull staff. Lovely breakfast with a good choice and everything piping hot, as well as decent sized mugs for your morning cuppa! Well appointed,clean comfortable room. Hairdryer, iron ironing board and safe. Daily cleaning service and nice quality shampoo and shower gels provided, not in a hard to use dispener on the wall. Feels as if Future Inns have looked at where other hotel chains fail and made sure they don't make the same mistakes.

We loved the fact it was very close to the train station, the theatre, cinema and entertainment centres, restaurants and pubs. Professional, friendly and well-trained staff. The rooms are excellent, very comfortable and nice size. The pillows and the bed are the best! Very clean rooms, excellent amenities, good wi-fi, accessible restaurants. It's also a thoughtful gesture to have water stations near the lifts and at the reception area. Quiet rooms and love the commitment to recycling and re-use. Love the thoughtful amenities - ice box, wine glasses, jug. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Beds were super comfy which was important for us after a 12-hour travel. Everything was clean and sheets + towels were spotless. We were on the 2nd floor and it was still very quiet and peaceful despite a low floor and facing the street. Staying here was perfect. Friendly Front Office staff and they helped arrange our taxi to come really early before 6am too.

The staff were friendly, especially the young lady on the pool reception. The pool and steam room were welcome after a day skating at RampWorld but it was disappointing the jacuzzi was closed. The rooms were large, modern & clean. We’d definitely stay again!

Lovely hotel in a great location, superb rooms and really relaxed atmosphere. You'll have to pay for parking or know the city and park for free 15min walk away. Pool was great but the big let down was the jacuzzi wasnt working and it one of the reasons I chose the hotel over another close by. Didn't see any clear notice of this when booking or prior to arrival, that it would be out if action.

The hotel was in a great location to visit Cardiff. Front desk was very welcoming especially Dyfed. Room was in 2 singles and once we for it to be put into double it was done very quickly. Room was clean bed was comfortable pillows lovely. We had breakfast in the morning there was a variety of fresh fruits and English breakfast options. Would love to visit again to use the spa and pool facilities we just didn't have enough time.

Lovely hotel, spa was fantastic and very clean. Room was spacious, clean and modern. Reception staff were unreal, and breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel (and I stay at a hotel at least once a week with work). Would highly recommend.

I booked a family room for one night and stayed with two friends. We needed a place to get our heads down after seeing Faithless at Cardiff Castle. I didn't have high expectations as it was one of the cheaper options, and I knew it was a basic, budget friendly hotel. However, we had a very pleasant stay! We were very warmly greeted by Alison on reception when we arrived. She was so lovely and very helpful, we were made to feel so welcome! The room was dated but spotlessly clean, and the beds were very comfortable. It had everything you could need. Tea and coffee making facilities, some welsh cakes (delicious)! We had hot chocolate and complimentary bottles of water, also some biscoff biscuits! This was more than I have had when I have stayed at more luxurious hotels! We all slept really well! Topped off by a lovely full English breakfast, complimentary! It was served by Alisons mother, who was just as warm and welcoming! We were also offered a few complimentary drinks before we headed out for the evening. Unfortunately, we didn't get time to have any, maybe next time? 😉 Thank you for a wonderful stay!! We will be booking here for our next stay in Cardiff!

Great location, right in the heart of the main resurant and shops, yet quiet. The staff were so friendly and helpful. A big thanks to the lovely lady on reception when we arrived making the stay relaxing and enjoyable. The property while of a older vintage is clean, warm and the bed was super comfortable. Diisounted parking in public parking close by was available. . Property has no parking access out front as on the walking only part of the shops. There are also steps, no lift. Secure front aceess too. I would stay again. Thanks very much to the staff for making our stay memorable in Cardiff.

The hotel was well located right in the heart of Cardiff city centre where there are loads of bars, restaurants etc. However, our room was located on the side of the hotel so we weren't troubled with a noisy night. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the bedroom was comfortable and clean. Booking.com led us to believe we had breakfast included when we booked and apparently it wasn't, but the hotel gave us breakfast for no charge anyway, which we really appreciated. Yes it's a 2 star hotel but the price was very good and we had a pleasant experience there, thank you.

Stayed at the Sandringham for 5 nights, taking my autistic son to visit the Welsh parliament, various attractions and shows etc. We travelled by train and the hotel is within easy walking distance of the station. It is also centrally located so again all local attractions and bars and restaurants within walking distance. It is also easy to get a bus to and from Cardiff Bay from a bus stop just down the road. Rooms are basic but have everything you need and more supplies of tea/coffee etc are easily available from reception. There is no lift, but this did not cause us a problem. On arrival a member of staff actually carried our case to the room for us. Great value for money. What really made our stay here so great though was Alison on reception and all of the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful to me and my autistic son. They really went the extra mile. For example they even arranged to service our room whilst we were at breakfast, (as my son would need to return to our room between visits for some quiet time) to ensure a cleaner would not be there if he was. Definitely found this independent hotel gave a more personal service than some of the chains where I have stayed previously. Would 100% recommend and would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Loved the quirky nature of the hotel, perfect location for exploring the area. Room was very clean and cosy, staff very friendly and welcoming, nothing too much trouble for them. Fresh breakfast (cooked to order) hit the spot each morning.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The hotel was extremely clean and modern. No outside noise (on 9th floor), perfect location with great views of the city! The breakfast was delicious and catered for all. Cocktails at the bar were very enjoyable too. I put in special requests as it was a birthday celebration and they went out of their way to make the whole experience extra special - they offer great room packages for all occasions. Nice hotel location right next to the train station and south of the city centre. Staff are very friendly. A particular shout out to Jamie in the restaurant, he was great and a huge asset to the hotel. Room isn’t huge, but it was quiet, spotless and well kitted out with a comfortable bed. WiFi was very reliable as was the air-con. Didn’t try the breakfast, but had dinner in the restaurant one night and it was quite good and reasonably priced. I was very impressed with their EDI staff hiring policy, a great diversity of staff working here, and any hotel that is this staff-focused suggests they care and worth staying in. But my experience was let down by the tacky upgrades push by email in advance of my arrival, like £20/night for a high floor room or a view of the railway for £5/night (???). Forgo the housekeeping for £0 is baffling as a “deal” that benefits me in any way. And charging £10/night for bathrobes is a definite no at this price point.

The hotel was very impressive. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Checking in and out was very simple and quick. The location was perfect with all the high Street shops, bars and sights. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed to hand. The restaurant was wonderful and the food was a very high standard. We would like to thank the young lady Kareena who served us. A polite,friendly lovely host. We will definitely be returning.

Clean, modern, comfortable hotel, just a few minutes walk from the city centre. Very convenient. Room was very clean, shower was superb, breakfast was plentiful. The gym was small but had everything you might need for a decent workout.

This hotel was fairly good, but dropped a few points compared to very similar priced hotels in Hull and Aberdeen. My partner and I like city breaks. We stayed 7 nights, due to train strikes. We had booked for 6, but luckily hotel could take us for an extra pre-night. Avoiding strike. But cheekily added a bit on to that nights price. 40+ percent. Almost like computer system booked us in as a solo nights stay for it. Breakfast were nice. Good choices. Dinner one night was bit disappointing. My gammon steak was bit overcooked. Was okay taste wise. The kitchens were under no real pressure, as we shared the restaurant with maybe 7, or eight others. Our room was a bit cramped, but not worth a complaint. Room was fairly clean, but with a few bits missed, here & there. Bathroom was very clean. So good there. The teas, coffees, sugars etc were rationed. The replacements each day were very hit & miss. We had to requst them from front desk, most evenings. One day we came back to room, mid afternoon, to find that the biscuit replacement had been well, rationed to ONE biscuit. The room staff must have know that there were TWO people in the room. God knows what that was about. Generally the staff were friendly. There were 2 dour souls going about at times. The Clayton was central. Less than 5 minutes from bus & train stations.

The hotel was spotless smelt beautiful .the staff were polite professional and friendly.our room was very clean spacious comfortable,it was warm.even down to the hairdryer brilliant .we ordered room service for breakfast food was outstanding fresh hot plenty of it and good variety.comfortable beds good lighting good pillows.everything to hand plenty of information about services provided.it was bank holiday weekend and we heard no noise coming from other rooms at all through the night.we can't wait to return. The gentleman at the desk very pleasant and our bags were kept safe in a locked room until our train was due.

I visit Cardiff on a regular basis and as such, I have stayed in quite a number of hotels there. This was my first stay at the Marriott and I can honestly say that it will become my 'go to' hotel there. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and the shower and toiletries are fanstastic. Breakfast at Browns was varied and plentiful if anything the coffee could do with some improvement but thats me being niggly. If booking a room, I would reccomend tryingto get one facing the back facing the Premier Inn as the Mill Lane side can become quite nosiy specially on weekends.I visit Cardiff regularly and have stayed in quite a number of hotels there. This was my first stay at the Marriott, and I can honestly say that it will become my go-to hotel in the city. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, and the shower and toiletries are fantastic. Breakfast at Browns was varied and plentiful; if I had to be nitpicky, I would say that the coffee could use some improvement. If you're booking a room, I recommend trying to get one facing the back towards the Premier Inn, as the Mill Lane side can get quite noisy, especially on weekends.

When we arrived our room was ready and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We were also provided with a room on the 9th floor with great views; as requested. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. My only complaint would be the air conditioning as we didn't feel much benefit from this. Nevertheless, we couldn't fault our stay at the Marriott. The location, food and service provided was exceptional. This is the second time we've stayed at the Marriott Hotel and will most definitely return!! If you are looking for somewhere central and comfortable I would highly recommend the Marriott.

We absolutely loved our stay ! We stayed for my husband's birthday, for a concert in The Utilita. The hotel staff decorated the room and left a lovely birthday cake . So thoughtful and kind. The hotel itself is perfect location in central Cardiff. The room was very comfortable. Can't find a fault at all. Had a fabulous sleep, bed was so comfortable! All the staff were very friendly and attentive. Lovely cocktails in the bar after the concert too. Highly recommend this hotel and will Def stay here again.
