We needed a hotel with a safe parking spot and a good breakfast - and they delivered perfectly! There are two parking lots, both gated and closed off for the night. Plenty of parking spaces available. Breakfast was really good, with plenty of options and very good coffee. Room was really spacious and very comfortable, with a balcony overlooking a park. Plenty of space to hang out both indoors and outdoors. The hotel is stylish, art deco-styled - which still looks and feels good even though it's a 1990s construction. Good service, good internet connection. Overall, a very comfortable and elegant hotel, which surpassed our expectations

This hotel in Craiova is a JEWEL! It comprises of two connected buildings, a new extension and the older part. This is a wonderful ART D'ECCO building! Of course, carefully renovated and with all modern amenities. And having extraordinary timber structures, beautiful colour stain glass windows and coloured stain glass ceilings in Restaurant, Bar, Reception area etc. A lot of famous Artists (film, Rock Music) and football players were over the years hotel guests, it can be admired in rare photos on the walls. KITCHEN: dinner was excellent, so the Red Wine, breakfast buffet with lots of options. PARKING: plenty of car parking.

The hotel was well-positioned, offering convenient access to nearby attractions. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere throughout the stay. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained—overall a great experience.

Good breakfast with polite staff, complimentary coffee in the room, a lift in 5 story building. Big size room. Very good food in the restaurant also. Very helpful reception desk people! There is bar and piano and cozy place for meetings if you need it.

Free parking, good breakfast, nice staff. The VIP room was huge and had a Jacuzzi. Very nice city view as a bonus!

Large outdoor swimming pool with clean water. Excellent for cooling off on a hot summer afternoon. I was lucky to find it almost empty, so I could do my laps across the largest diameter line. Large rooms. Comfortable bed. Good water pressure. Very friendly and effective restaurant personnel. Fast service at breakfast. Tasty omelette.

very nice, very accommodating. we stayed at the Herin following a late night flight. very close to the airport (Although the signage could have been better). The staff were great and helpful. we had a meeting planned the next morning (which we had in comfort in the lobby) and they helped with tea and coffee. rooms clean and very very warm. The only glitch was the double size duvet for a king plus size bed! overall though, a good night. we are back in Romania in 5 weeks and will certainly stay again.

A generally nice, modern hotel with pleasant staff and an unusually good breakfast for a cheap hotel in Romania. However most of the lights in our room didn't work, and no attempt was made to fix these when we reported it. The kettle also broke. That was a little disappointing, but overall otherwise a good choice. It does do a lot of weddings at the weekends, which go on into the small hours. It would probably be better to avoid weekends if you are a light sleeper.

We had a wonderful stay at Puzzle Apartments & Studios in Craiova and felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. The host was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional, clearly thinking of everything guests might need. Communication was excellent, and the apartment was fully equipped with everything necessary for a perfect visit – all we had to do was arrive and relax! The beds were very comfortable, and both the apartment and the building were exceptionally clean. The location is ideal, close to a supermarket and a large shopping center with a variety of restaurants, and public transportation is just steps away from the building. We highly recommend Puzzle Apartments & Studios to anyone looking for a convenient and well-equipped apartment stay in Craiova.

Very comfortable, clean and warm apartments and studios. We have absolutely everything we needed for our stay. There is some small kitchen but well equipped, including coffee machine, microwave, fridge, plates and cups. Also a nice balcony. Very kind and helpful owners. Near by there is a spacious parking free of taxes (next to some stores). We reached the center of the city by tramway 🚊 that stops right next to the hotel/building - four stations (10 minets) away from the center. We highly recommend this place 🙌

The location is good with easy access to the city centre. The apartment is small. If you need the two sofas for sleep as we did, there is barely any space left to move around. But the bed is comfortable, the space is clean and there is enough in the kitchen in terms of cups and plates for coffee and breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a pleasant stay.

Modern room. It was clean and very well equipped. The staff is friendly and helpful. Chinese restaurant in the same building so we had a fast meal. Auchan hypermarket and Promenada Mall in 2 minutes walk.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and well maintained, and the staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. The on-site restaurant was a pleasant surprise — delicious food and great service. The only downside was the sofa bed, which wasn’t very comfortable for sleeping. Otherwise, everything was excellent, and we’d be happy to stay here again.

Everything met our expectations if we take into account the location, the staff, the cleanliness and the food for breakfast. The hotel is actually an old mansion, excellently preserved, with incredible stucco, wood inlay and coloured glass ornaments that give it a unique, classy architecture and style. Refurbished and very well soundproofed, the building looks amazing (especially inside) while the friendly stuff (receptionists and cleaner ladies) make you feel spoiled! Secondly, we should mention the exquisite cuisine and food products offered for breakfast. They were both a surprise for the eyes and for the tongue! Delicate miniatures, thin slices of cheddar cheese, ham, meat, salami, tasty buns and fresh loaves of bread, sausages, mixed veggies, fruits, quality tea/juice, yoghurt, milk and cereals, appetizing cakes and sweets, and an excellent cup of coffee at the end were all a great delight to start your day with.

The hotel is tucked away on the edge of the old town - very quiet but accessible. The staff are really helpful and friendly. The lounge area is outstanding- so tastefully and lusciously restored. The room was clean, stylish and really well equipped. Breakfasts and dinners are delicious and the staff even arranged a packed breakfast for us as we were leaving early on the final day. We loved everything about this little gem of a hotel.

5 Continents is a lovely hotel in the very center of Craiova, I absolutely loved the friendly team (reception, bar, restaurant, etc). In fact, I would give 10 stars to the team of the hotel if I could! Perfect location, super clean rooms, very good breakfast.

the hotel is superb. I got the most beautiful room and I was impressed by the details and attention with which this hotel was renovated. perfect breakfast and very kind staff. a large spacious bathroom equipped with a large bathtub and shower cabin.

The room is spacious, clean and very comfy. It has a minibar, air conditioning, coffee maker with coffee and water on the house. The bathroom is also clean and has shower gel, shampoo, soap, clean towels and bathrobes. Breakfast is included with good coffee and great orange juice. Because we arrived late at breakfast the omelette was cold. The front desk is open 24h, we arrived after midnight and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

A great hotel in Craiova. There is free parking right outside the hotel in a secure area. The receptionist has to let you in. The room was very big and had a lovely, big comfortable bed. Its spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a one night stay including a fridge. There is also aircon and the room was centrally heated. A TV on the wall. A large bathroom and large shower with lots of hot water. There is also a desk. Great wifi. We had the breakfast included and there was a lot to choose from. The coffee machine did great coffee too and it was hot!

Loved the impeccable cleanliness, the breakfast (selection and quality) and the staff were really nice. There is a cosy little bar in the lobby and a small espresso machine in every room. Rooms are quiet everything smells lovely and fresh. The parking space is a big plus. the double room is quite spacious and the bathrooms were very nice

Spacious , quiet and comfortable,bedroom & living, big bathroom with shower and bathtub, classic furnishings, nice, helpful staff, good breakfast, we had a lovely though short stay at Arlington. The big chessboard, the closets with keys and the free candy were a hit with the kids:)

10/10 – Would move in if they let me! Wow – what a stay! The room was spotless (like, could-eat-off-the-floor clean… though we didn’t test that). The location? Chef’s kiss! Right in the heart of everything – we barely needed Google Maps. The service was incredible – everyone was so helpful and kind, I started wondering if they secretly knew us from somewhere. They even smiled before coffee, which should be an Olympic sport! We had an amazing time both at the hotel and exploring the city. Honestly, we left feeling rested, happy, and already planning our next visit. Huge thanks to the whole team – you guys made us feel like VIPs… or at least VHPs (Very Happy People)!

Nice spacious and clean room in a good location close to town. They let us know in advance that the hotel hosts events so may be noisy at night which was good to know though this did not bother us at all. We were on the third floor and it was not loud from there. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

Well maintained business hotel 500m from the city center with a parking place in front and direct access from the main road. The hotel hosts a Spa center with indoor pool and gym. The breakfast was amazingly rich and tasty. The staff was friendly and supportive in all areas (reception, spa, restaurant). Our rooms were exactly how described, modern, spacious and fitted fully our demands includig rich filled minibar. Recommendation: In the later afternoon during weekdays a dinner buffet is offered, which is really worth to explore.

First of all, the location is perfect. Minutes from the Christmas markets and all the other sights. We stayed in an Executive King Room and it was really spacious and very comfortable. After a tiring day and night out in the city, we were able to sit on the sofa and watch TV in our room. There are enough amenities in the room. The bed is extremely comfortable - like heaven :) The bathroom is big and comfortable, as well. We stayed there in January and the room was warm enough. There is adjustable air-condition in the room. The breakfast lounge is really elegant with a beautiful design. The breakfast is tasty with lots of variety. There is a huge parking area in front of the hotel and it is free of charge for the hotel guests.

We stayed at Ramada Plaza Craiova for two nights while visiting the Craiova Christmas Market, and overall, it was a pleasant experience with just a few drawbacks. The hotel’s location is fantastic—just a short walk to the Christmas Market, which made our holiday outing convenient and enjoyable. Our room was spacious and equipped with everything we needed, including an espresso machine, which was a lovely touch. I also appreciated the modern bathroom and the ability to control the AC to my preference. One highlight of our stay was the small SPA center, which featured a swimming pool, sauna, and steam bath. It was a great way to relax for an hour or two in the mornings before starting our day. The breakfast was super delicious, and I was delighted with the variety and quality. The smoothies, espresso, and selection of cheeses were particularly impressive and made for a delightful start to the day.

The hotel is absolutely marvelous. I had two superior double rooms and an executive triple, since we were a larger group. The rooms are big, the bed are very confortable, everything is clean and modern. The breakfast is fabulous, they have almost everything you can think of, more than usual 4* breakfast. Also the a la carte restaurant and room service are very nice. The room bar is very complete. The position is again very good, 5-10 mins walking to the city centre. Totally recommend it.

The location is just 5 minutes away by taxi from the train station and around 6 minutes walk to the Christmas markets. Room was very nice with a good view, clean and well stocked both the mini bar and the bathroom. We had to take a packed breakfast as we checked out before 7:00 to catch a train and the put their heart to it. We had a meal at the restaurant and the service and food was top. Large parking available if needed. Staff was very polite and helpful.

We stayed 3 nights with our extended family and we've attended a wedding in one of the ballrooms that this boutique hotel has. With what should I start? It was a real pleasure to spend some quality time with friends and family in a great place, where every single staff tried to satisfy and make our stay as pleasant as it could be and to meet every need that we've had during our stay. Rooms and en-suite bathrooms are clean and tidy, comfortable beds and with a well equipped mini bar (reasonable prices). Free wifi and parking. We've enjoyed an outstanding relaxing massage with lava-stones in a clean and cozy atmosphere and you can also experience some quality time at the outside pool. Good and fresh breakfast but it would be an improvement if it would be a bit more diversified during the week. Reception staff very kind and polite, helpful and trying to help you with some good information related with the town and surroundings or in late hours when we've ordered food in our rooms. We are thankful and happy to find this kind of service and accommodation in Craiova and we can definitely recommend this hotel for other travelers .

This boutique hotel reminds me Italy. Hotel was designed with small details that made my stay as pleasant as possible. I liked. Large and clean room with a large bed and very good mattress (I slept very well, like at home). I also had a balcony - a terrace with two armchairs and a table. What I didn't like were the insects that came from the balcony door. Maybe a net at the door was a good plus. Great bathroom, clean with quality cosmetics. I liked both the room and the hotel. Breakfast can be improved - I've found some yogurt, some cheese and omelette. Other clients had more on the table - I saw ham, tomatoes, salad. So I think it was bad luck. And the coffee machine was blocked - so I did not drink coffee because nobody fix it. Maybe I'm awake too late (8:10 am) . But overall, the hotel deserves for the facilities it offers and for the staff at the reception. Breakfast. It should be adjusted for the number of guests staying in the hotel.

La Roca Boutique Hotel is a cozy boutique hotel near the new Promenada mall. We were happy as we encounter there exceptional services, great staff, clean and comfortable room, very good Julius Meinl coffee and delicious breakfast. Above all they are pet friendly. Thank you La Rocca for nice stay and for sure we will comeback.

*Fantastic location to explore the town. We were there for the Christmas market and the hotel was only a few steps away from the first of the markets. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. *The room was large, clean and beautifully appointed. The bed was big and comfortable. Robes were provided, along with decent toiletries. Large flat screen TV, fridge and coffee machine in the room. We had a view over the ferris wheel of the Christmas market, which was very pretty. Despite the central location, we didn't hear any noise at night. *The general decor of the hotel was nice. It felt surprisingly luxurious. *Breakfast was excellent. Huge selection of cheeses/meats along with a few self service hot options.Coffee and juice were of a good quality. *WiFi was strong and there was a safe in the room.

The hotel is perfectly located in the town center. The rooms are very clean, quiet and elegantly furnished. The staff are professional and friendly. I would highly recommend the breakfast. A lot of choice and the food was delicious. We also had a great dinner at restaurant La Papanu, which is conveniently located at the back of the hotel. Big portions, very tasty, amazing service! We even had a chat with a very pleasant young man from Nepal, who served our food. My total rating of our stay in Splendid 1900 and La Papanu is 10/10!

This is a boutique hotel located right in the center, close to cafes, restaurants and shops. The hotel is small and airy, very clean and very quiet despite its proximity to the center. The breakfast is varied and delicious.

Location is walking distance from historic centre, next to bothanical garden. The area is not too noisy, anyway the hotel has a good isolation. The room had a great view, was clean ( clean check was done daily), spacious, good beds& pillows (it is something important for me). The breakfast was good, sufficient. No problem with parking places. Auchan next to the corner în case of an urgent need...
