We had a wonderful stay on July 31/24 . We were greeted by reception with pure professionals, who were full of smiles, courteous and made us feel very welcome and answered all of our questions. The atmosphere was beautiful from when you first walk in. Rooms were spacious, clean and wonderful amenities (Keurig, coffee, tea, fridge, blow-dryer) that you need for your stay. The pool and hot tub were wonderful after a long day traveling and so clean with a shower and restroom available right there, the kids and I enjoyed it very much. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, (sorry I can't remember the name) everyone of our meals was delicious with great presentation and service was excellent, prices were fair. We will definitely recommend and be back! It's been a long time since we have had such a wonderful stay at a hotel, this was such an amazing place.

This is a lovely hotel. It was very comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I knocked off a star because unlike cheaper hotels that offer the same comfort and friendly staff, the Prestige Rocky Mountain Resort does not have the same value for the money. The hotel does not offer a complimentary breakfast. A hotel down the road was at least $75 cheaper, and provides a complimentary breakfast. We ended up having breakfast at the Fire &Oak, the restaurant within the hotel, which ended up costing over $50 for my husband and I. Adding the price difference and the cost of breakfast, we would have saved at least $125 if we stayed at the other hotel. Considering how everything is so expensive, this cost difference is a big deal. That’s more than a tank of gas. We purposely stayed at this hotel as it was closer to the CP railyard with the Holiday train coming through. Unless there was another reason to specifically stay at the Prestige Rocky Mountain Resort, I highly doubt we will stay here again.

I'm very picky about where I stay and this hotel met my requirements. The room was very comfortable with a queen sized bed, couch, dining table for 2, kitchenette, large bathroom. In addition, we were on the third floor, and it was very quite. My grandson enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Two restaurants located within the building and we had breakfast and dinner at one (sorry, I don't remember the name, but it's the one that serves breakfast. The other is a bar and grill.) The thing I insist on is cleanliness and this hotel was very clean with no weird odors. My only complaint is the sheets on the bed are not soft. They're a little stiff, but not so much so that it was uncomfortable.

Everything about this stay was exceptional. The staff were friendly and made me feel welcome right from the start. My room was beautiful—clean, spacious, and with a fantastic view. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I woke up feeling refreshed every morning.

The staff here was very nice and accommodating. The young lady who checked us in was very friendly, smiling every time I saw her, and very helpful. I wish I had caught her name. Breakfast was nice as I was traveling with my daughter and she loved the waffles. The hot tub was nice, pool was clean, warm - my daughter enjoyed it very much. My only complaint if you could call it that, was the hot water in our room was not hot. With the shower cranked all the way on hot - it was still not hot at all, just a touch above warm I would say. But otherwise the hotel was very clean, the room was exactly what we needed, and the staff was stellar.

This was our first time staying at a Wyndham hotel and were so delighted to meet the friendly face at the desk, interested in what we needed, providing information we needed. The room and the beds were exceptionally comfortable, great cable on TV, quiet, great sleep and in the morning, great coffee in the room and a full on breakfast! We are planning to return when we come to Cranbrook again and so are going to sign up for the rewards program. Good job...Wyndham...you have staff that is representing you well in Cranbrook at the Super 8! Thank you so much...we needed that support to get a good night's sleep and we got it!

Every one of the staff were exceptionally kind, helpful and welcoming. They made my stay very enjoyable in all respects. I would not hesitate to book my next stay in Cranbrook, BC, Canada at the Ramada. Breakfast was very good, too. Winter left a couple rough spots in the pavement at the street leading into the parking lot. That was the only persnickety thing.

We were in town for Kootenay bike race that started at St Eugenie. We stayed at this facility last year driving through to home in Alberta. Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff. Clean cozy room. Perfect breakfast and coffee in room. Facility allowed my husband to detach utility trailer and park in back. Very helpful.

Very convenient location, plenty of parking available. Appears a bit dated from the outside but very nicely renovated interior. Very clean, comfortable room with a very comfy bed! Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent (try the samosas!).

The facilities were great. The Lobby and our room were terrific. The hotel lobby is really well laid out and spotless as was our room. Staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast room was large and spotless, lots of variety and to be able to get a fresh omelet was incredible. Over the top in fact. The two ladies were friendly and kept the food hot and plentiful.

Comfortable and good stay with free wifi and out door swimming pool. Value for money with warm breakfast with all kinds of juice and coffee and tea and toasted bread and build your own omelette. Bed was comfortable and staffs were friendly. Parking was free. I would recommend this hotel

The staff were very friendly and helpful! The breakfast was fresh and tasty. The rooms were pretty clean, however there was an underlying smell of tobacco. Overall, the hotel was pretty well!

The outdoor heated pool and jacuzzi area was wonderful! The beds were comfortable.

We had a comfortable stay. The room was clean and well appointed. The outdoor pool and hot tub was great but the towels were small. The onsite restaurant was closed for lunch and dinner but open for breakfast at least. The staff were friendly/helpful and the property was well maintained.

A newly refurbished room with stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, pots and pans with utensils. Bathroom was small but clean and with a good enough shower head. The room os old and therefore small by modern standards but the bed was a new, with a comfy mattress. A/C was good and the wifi quite quick (I didn't look at the tv). Lighting was strange but OK. Very friendly, knowledgeable owner/staff. Parking was right outside the door and it was only a short walk into the downtown area, such as it is in Cranbrook... It is a town on the way to other places!

You may not want to read my whole story but I would recommend this hotel over any other hotel in Cranbrook. I was in a kind of pickle. I went through Cranbrook to see a friend on my way to Vancouver. I spent the first night in a different hotel. When I woke up the next day, I had a migraine headache and couldn’t leave. I tried to extend my stay in that hotel but they were booked for the night. It took awhile to find vacancy in another hotel and it was this one. I can’t explain how fantastic the people at this hotel treated me. I called the hotel and asked if I could arrive early. No guarantees she said but I will clean your room first. I checked out of the first hotel and they took me in immediately. At 11:30am even though check in was at 5pm. Room was modest but very comfortable. Good shower water pressure. Comfortable bed. Motorcycle parked right outside my door. Quiet. Hanging baskets and planter boxes overwhelmed with flowers and colours. I will never stay elsewhere in Cranbrook. With the headache making me immobile, I honestly feel they went above and beyond and “saved my life”.

Quiet place, very nice and clean. One of the cleanest hotel rooms I’ve ever been to. Very helpful staff. Good location :-) Beds were very comfortable , Wifi was good :-)

Really good hotel. They called me in advance to let me know my room was ready early then the check-in was quick and easy. The building is quite old but well maintained and very clean. The pub on the main floor had standard pub fare and was medium busy. It was 10 dollar wing night which came with fries. Food was above average. Looks like a 60 inch television with all of the channels. Bathroom looks newly renovated and is spotless. Has bar fridge, microwave, and coffee machine. The only negative is the parking. There are meters next to the building that turn on 900am. There's a bigger public lot across the street about a 5 min walk. This would still be my first pick of hotels within the city of Cranbrook.

Loved our stay! The room was clean, and we’ll set up. The beds were very comfortable. And we loved the little kitchen! And a great bathtub! Check in was a breeze and the staff were very helpful! Thank you for the great stay!

Charming downtown hotel that has been nicely renovated. The king size bed was super comfortable and the huge shower was really nice. Jim at the front desk was soooo nice and gave several suggestions for dinner. We will definitely stay here again.

Staff were really friendly & when I made a faux-pas about the breakfast, I was made to feel not bad at all....and I didn't need be embarrassed . My son & I enjoyed the pool....but was sad the hottub was out of commission.

We enjoyed 2 restful nights, the place was clean and the beds were comfortable but it would have been nice to know they shut down the jacuzzi during the slow season, the hot tub was a major reason we chose this hotel

Loved that breakfast was included, even when the restaurant was closed Sunday/Monday, there was a boxed breakfast available. Very quiet hotel (other than traffic on the Strip). Very clean and comfortable. Loved the indoor pool and jacuzzi! The central location was perfect for walking to the Tamarack Mall, since I don’t drive. A great menu at the restaurant as well.

We've stayed at the Model A Inn for several years, now, on our way to our summer property in Crescent Valley. We've always found the rooms to be clean and comfortable and the staff to be friendly and helpful. This year was no different. However, on our way home from Crescent Valley, we unexpectedly left our power steering pump, line, and fluid at the top of Stag Leap (yikes!)!! We managed to hobble in to Creston whereupon it was decided by BCAA that we would be towed to Cranbrook. It was the long weekend. While we waited for a tow, I phoned the Model A and asked if they had a broom closet they could let us have for a couple of nights, and I was assured they did. Not only did they NOT consign us to a broom closet (yay!), but they gave us a lovely kitchenette which was a HUGE bonus as it allowed us to keep, at least, some expenses in check. As always the room was clean and comfortable, but on top of that the gal at the front desk was, particularly, sensitive to our dilemma and went out of her way to be helpful. In the end we had to stay several nights, and we were told we could stay as late as 1:00 so as to avoid sitting on the side of the road with all our junk! (grin!). The world is full of fabulous people, and several of them are right here at the Model A Inn!

Beautiful location and easy access. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a bit of trouble getting on wifi but went to the main desk and he reset it right away and it worked. Beds were comfy and the room was clean. The Inn was pet friendly and although we did not have a pet and were in a pet friendly room it was very clean. We were running late and when I called to confirm we were on our way they were great.

I booked 2 rooms at this motel in Cranbrook 2 days before we arrived and asked for 2 ground floor rooms next to each other. We arrived later than expected and were delighted to get our ground floor rooms side by side. Our room had one Queen bed and was very spacious. Even had a lovely rocking chair plus the usual table and 2 chairs. It was spotless. They could get fluffier, whiter towels but that was no big deal as the bed was very comfortable, the sheets were clean and crisp and the comforter was lovely. No crappy bedspreads here. The man behind the counter was cheerful and friendly, as was the man on the phone when I reserved the rooms. There is a continental breakfast with fruit and cereal but we walked across the street to Tim Horton's. We will definitely be back - the price was reasonable and the updated decor was just as nice as any of the pricey hotels in town.

Just returned from 5 nights at the Model A motel in Cranbrook BC. The motel is clean,good location,and is even quiet even though it right on the highway. We had a king room and could not even complain about a thing. Roomy with clothes hangers, bathtub and bathroom fan even a heat lamp, dresser drawer and nice TV. Fridge and microwave. Owners very pleasant. If you want a coffee pot just ask. We did not do the breakfast. Designated smoking sections were nice with chairs.Pop machine and ice. Close to anything you need for shopping and restaurants. Would definately recommend.

Our stay was excellent! Price was perfect. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby was clean and well decorated. Our room was clean and comfy. I especially loved the recliner chair! We will definitely stay there again!

My husband & I read many reviews for hotels/motels in Cranbrook before choosing Motel 6. It had the only reviews we read, that said clean or very clean. That is very important to us! We booked for 3 nights & chose a suite. We were pleasantly surprised to find it had two bedrooms, each with a queen size bed & a wall mounted TV. The bed was comfy as were the pillows. Unfortunately, the rooms are small & had no dressers or closets & only one room had a clock on the bedside table. There has obviously been some renovating as there was laminate on the floors. The kitchenette had a full size fridge & a 2 burner ceramic stove with modern countertops. The bathroom had a square sink with a modern tap. Our only con was our room was upstairs rather than on the ground floor & I have mobility issues. The outside of the motel is dated & isn't kept as clean as the inside. This would have given me the wrong impression, had I not read the reviews before booking. We left Cranbrook & travelled to Spokane, coming back the following evening. I had not pre-booked this time & I was shocked to find Motel 6 had no vacancy at 7pm. Therefore, we did not stay in Cranbrook that night. So travellers beware. Get there early or have a reservation!! The room rates are very reasonable & we would not hesitate to recommend this motel & will book there on future visits for sure.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and the motel was very quiet. This motel is great value for the price. We will definitely be staying here again. The kitchenette saved us money as we cooked our own breakfast and lunch with food purchased in Alberta. This older motel has been renovated and is charming. We brought our dogs so it was pleasant to walk straight outside from our room.

3 night stay and Value for money is spot on. It's a slightly better than basic room and the renovations make is a lot more modern. Room Sizes are better than many budget friendly places I've stayed in. I got an upgrade to a room with a kitchenette and I was expecting just a basic counter, microwave and coffee maker etc. I was pleasantly surprised it was a fully stocked kitchen with cooker top, pans, pots, toaster, crockery cutlery and all the needs to make a meal. Also a sink for washing dishes and the soap and cleaning materials were included. Washroom was decently sized and plenty of hot water and fresh towels every day, despite me being OK with reusing a towel for a day or two. Overall I'd recommend this place for convenience and pricing. It's really great value and you get more than you expect. Walking distance to most eating places and even the main mall is a block or two away.

My mom and I stayed here one night on route to the U.S. it was a clean room, the bed wasn’t the most comfortable but it worked. The breakfast was toast, eggs, cereal, and fresh fruit; just what we needed. And the staff were very very friendly! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

The property was of great value. Clean and renovated. Surprisingly quiet as it is next to a busy road, but some "comings and goings" on Saturday night. Close to many restaurants. Staff was friendly.

I stayed at Kootenay Country Inn in early June, and I must say I had the most wonderful time during my stay. The location is superb with easy access to anything you need within minutes of driving and the property was extremely clean and newly renovated. The management team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. In fact, I was actually told that they had a recent management transition and it seems like they have put in a lot of work to the property. Additionally, the hotel has a coin-laundry facility onsite, which was very convenient for travelers such as me. I definitely will be coming back! Thank you Kootenay Country Inn team for an amazing experience.

Staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. It's basic clean accomodation, I really appreciate that it's nothing fancy, clean, quiet, and reasonably priced. The window in the bathroom facing the trains was nice to have natural light come in and privacy.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were on a mini getaway to Cranbrook for a night and just wanted a cheap but comfortable place to sleep. This place fulfilled that! The management here is just wonderful. The lady who runs the front desk was so very friendly and we felt like we were in good hands. The room was dated, but very clean, and had everything we needed. We loved the cute and rustic feel of it. The motel is very centrally located with restaurants and shopping all within short walking distance. We will definitely be back for any future stays in Cranbrook!

Our room was large and very clean and the beds were comfortable. The restaurant on site served Mediterranean style food, which was excellent and the breakfast eggs Benedict was delicious. I was very surprised as usually restaurants attached to hotels are not always the best but this one was exceptional, the staff were very accommodating and friendly

Stayed here for one night as part of a 12-day sightseeing tour/vacation on the way from Banff to the US border. Although this was the lowest priced accommodation we stayed in on this trip, there was very little to complain about. Hotel is one of many on the main drag, but our room on ground floor was quiet. Check in was straightforward and staff friendly and helpful. Our double/twin room was large and spotlessly clean, with all the amenities we could have hoped for at the price paid. Although we didn’t dine in the hotel, there is a small restaurant serving breakfast and dinner, and numerous alternative dining options nearby.

Pros: Our room was spacious and had a small sofa which was an added bonus. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel was close to many restaurants and services. Bed was very comfy. Cons:Room configuration could be improved by not having coffee table right when you get out of bed to go to the bathroom in the night as you'd bash yourself without a doubt. Paper products need upgraded as well. Paying almost $300/night should have that. The Free products are very hard to use as the containers are hard plastic. A nightlight would be an added bonus.

Another great stay at this fabulous hotel! Very clean and comfortable. Very well maintained and friendly. The hotel was booked solid for the weekend but you'd never know it. Front desk was constantly busy but always friendly and organized. They were even training new staff through it all! Nice pool, fantastic housekeeping and a nice restaurant. For us, this is the only place in town we stay at!

This is a fantastic hotel with or without kids! We stayed in the suite overlooking the pool and it was perfect for 6 of us. The restaurant has a great breakfast and although we didn’t have dinner there the choices looked good. We were there for almost a week and everything was top notch. Clean, very comfortable and the staff everywhere were kind and accommodating.

Love this motel, so nice and clean, pet friendly, close to stores and cafes. Bathroom has been updated and is just spotless, the beds are very comfortable with good pillows. Towels are big and fluffy. Very nice indeed. Located on the main highway into town, but then they all are. The price is perfect. The lady who checked us in was so friendly and nice. Such a pleasure to deal with these nice folks. Room has bar fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Continental breakfast in the morning, we did not partake as we were on the road pretty early. Very quiet at night even though you are on the main road. Watch our for the local deer....as they meander down the boulevards!

Just stayed at Travellers Motel for one night. We were very impressed! The place was clean and comfortable and excellent value. The beds were sooo comfy and great pillows too! Nice tiled bathroom as well, great shower. We had our dog with us which was no problem for the motel. One concern when you are travelling with a dog is...where can she go pee? There are a long row of grassy boulevards you can walk your dog along just outside the hotel, however, the highway is right there, so you must use your leash, but just to get out for a quick pee it is perfect. Parking was no problem and the host was very nice. So, this is not luxury, it is basic but we give it a kick up from basic as it was updated and CLEAN and COMFY. What more do you want really??!!

Checkin was friendly and quick. There is a nice little library of books at reception for guests. We extend our appreciation to whomever is cleaning and making up the rooms. The rooms are not new, but they are well maintained and very thoroughly cleaned, with new linens and towels, exceptional for cleanliness. We also appreciated the air quality; no scents and the window opened. The appliances were great, especially the full sized fridge. Yes, the rooms are along the street, but that seems common for Cranbrook motels. We were very comfortable in our room. Finally, Travellers offers the very best value in town for clean, friendly accommodation.

I quite liked this motel for the reasonable price. There was no vacancy and it was quiet. The room was dated and small but clean. Had a fridge, microwave and the bedding and towels were fine. Wifi worked great. Some people were using the barbecue out front. Continental breakfast had many choices.......bagels,toast,pastries,cereal,fresh fruit,yogurt and juice. Trays are provided and you can eat in your room. Check in was pleasant and the lady in charge was helpful and kind. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful overnight stay at this property. We called to say we would arrive late and it was no trouble at all. The price was wonderful. The room, linens and towels were all clean and comfortable. Upon checkout we enjoyed their breakfast spread which we took with us on our continuing journey. This is not a fancy big name motel. This is a fair price for a clean room and comfortable beds and owners/operators that are beyond kind and helpful.

I was only there for a quick overnight. It was easy to find and there was enough parking when I arrived. Seemed somewhat renovated. The staff were friendly and helpful for my late check in. Room was clean enough, bed was the same as any sandman (needs to be flipped more) but comfortable and clean.

We have been staying at the Sandman Cranbrook for business reasons for many years - sometimes overnight and sometimes longer to include some great golf at the courses close by! The staff has always made us feel welcome, they are professional and knowledgeable, not to mention always ready to provide extra towels, or switch pillows or try to make our stay here as comfortable as possible. The rooms we have stayed in have been clean and well kept, the tub/shower combination has never run out of hot water and the bedding and towels have always been clean! We will continue making Sandman Cranbrook our preferred stay!

My family and I always stay at the Sandman when visiting Cranbrook and are yet to be disappointed. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and although many places are short-staffed right now it's obvious that the Sandman employees are working their hardest to make their guests happy and comfortable. The room as always was clean and quiet despite being located near the highway. Definitely recommend!

Terrific location on the edge of the forest, 8km from town, but worth the short drive from the highway. Mirka and Dennis are excellent hosts, welcoming you to join them in their fabulous home. Breakfast content is to your request, and Mirka is a resourceful cook. Rooms are a good size, clean , well presented, and comfortable. The lounge and kitchen dining area are shared by fellow guests and the family, making it a relaxed and enjoyable stay. You may even spot deer and chipmonks in the garden!

Incredible location, so peaceful...The owners are outgoing. The room is comfortable and clean. The breakfast is so scrumptious (Mirka cooks amazing food). We spotted some deer from the house as well as squirrels and gophers:) Definitely will be back!
