Beautiful property , rooms were cozy the jacuzzi in room was heavenly . We had a lot of fun exploring Daylesford by day and relaxing by night. Breakfast spread was really good . Juices , hashbrowns , bacon, croissants with some fresh coffee. 😍

we are just back from two nights 1st to 3rd May and we loved every minute of our stay. the hotel is just so beautiful with its old world charm. checkin was friendly and informative. we booked a one bedroom spa villa and wow it exceeded our expectations. A comfortable king bed and great shower. The upstairs living area is fantastic, great kitchen dining and two big leather sofas with a cosy gas heater or a split system. The balcony view made us feel like we were somewhere in Europe. So quiet and peaceful. Easy parking. We dined in the onsite restaurant and it was so delicious, Breakfast was included in our rate and we loved how they bring out the tray with yoghurt with stewed fruit and granola on it, the fresh fruit and the croissants which were so nice, then you order a cooked breakfast from the menu and also barista coffee. Such a great way to do a breakfast. All staff we encountered were amazing. The walk through the garden from our villa to the restaurant was so pretty. We both had treatments at the day spa which were heavenly. The Spa is the most peaceful place and a must do. This was our first stay and we will definitely return.

This is a lovely hotel to spend a weekend getaway or a special occasion. I was wished a happy birthday at check-in and was delighted to find a bottle of sparkling wine in the room along with a birthday card. Our room (428) in one of the cabins was, I suspect also an upgrade as we booked a Queen but had a King bed - thank you to Management 😊! The room was very nicely decorated and well appointed with tea and coffee making facilities, minibar, fridge, robes, slippers, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Snazzy tv with lots of options if you want to watch something. The main hotel building (the original Springs Hotel) and Villa Parma (an 1800's beauty) are lovely and have some wonderful architectural features as well as being beautifully decorated. The gardens are also quite lovely and make for some great photos. Breakfast is served in the Argus Restaurant and is very generous. To start is a continental prelude comprising fresh croissants, butter and jam, yoghurt with a delicious crunchy topping and fresh fruit. This is followed by a selection of delicious sounding a la carte options. We were still full from our dinner out the previous night and asked for simple poached eggs on toast which was easily accommodated. We would like to return sometime when Argus is open for dinner as we are sure it would be a special dining experience. A very enjoyable and special stay!

Just returned from a wonderful weekend at the Mineral Springs Hotel. We were blessed with a beautiful, two-storey Garden Spa Villa which had everything you could desire - gas open fire, very generous spa bath, super comfy lounge room, huge covered balcony with day bed, full kitchen, very comfy bed - and all in a peaceful and tranquil setting. First impressions from the reception to the hotel’s expansive lounge area with an open fire, through to the bar and very ornate dining room were truly 5 star. And the buffet breakfast was superb! The spa experience was terrific - three plunge pools and three different saunas created a variety of treatments and we were both extremely relaxed afterwards. One final point: through no fault of their own, the region experienced a power outage until 11am on our first morning. The staff reaction to what must have tested their patience was immense! Thoroughly professional, good humoured, attentive and respectful. We were spoiled with a candlelit breakfast in front of an open fire! Maybe someone should turn the power off every week!! Well done and thank you to all of the staff at Mineral Springs Hotel! 👏 🙏

Loved staying for the weekend. Concierge Shane was lovely with great recommendation for dinner at the surly goat. Breakfast and dinner at The Argus was lovely. Great coffee for breakfast made by the barista (a soy magic). Fantastic having on-site spa. My only “complaints” would be no pod coffee in classic room. We are a bit beyond Nescafé blend 43 instant! It would have been nice to be able to enjoy a good coffee in my room before heading out for the day. And the showers in classic room would be lovey if a bit bigger frameless shower.

The motel room was very clean, well presented with tea, coffee, milk and facilities to use them provided. Good quality crockery and cutlery were provided within the room, which was a pleasant surprise! There were plenty of good quality towels to use, with bath mats, face washers and hand towels. The bedding was excellent, fresh and clean - with extra pillows and blankets in the wardrobe, if required. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we really appreciated the quick phone call to say we had left something behind, before we left the area, THANK YOU! We will certainly be staying there again; and recommend this motel as good value for money, clean and fresh, - that is central to everything in the area, which made for a very pleasant stay.

I stayed in a queen room, and my elderly mother had the accessible room. Both rooms were exceptionally clean, warm and comfortable. The accessible room, was the best she's stayed in. Very roomy, with not only table and chairs, but also a small comfortable sofa. The bathroom was perfect! Lots of grab rails, with no step into the shower. A shower chair and over-toilet seat were supplied, which was very much appreciated. More than enough tea, coffee and milk, plus biscuits. Having a microwave in the room was handy. Very quiet rooms. Stuart, in reception, could not have been more helpful, he was an absolute gem who rates 10/10 from us. We highly recommend Hepburn Springs Motor Inn and will definitely be back.

If visiting the Castlemaine-Daylesford region, I recommend staying at the Hepburn Springs Motor Inn. Stopping there after three weeks of travelling, I found my last night away from home utterly peaceful and relaxing. The hosts were friendly and most helpful. The room was spacious yet cosy, recently and restfully decorated, with everything I needed--a very comfy bed, fridge, microwave, Wi-Fi and TV, a window that could be opened (a plus for me!), a well-stocked cupboard with kettle, dishes, coffee/tea/biscuits, etc. Towels were big and thick; the water, good and hot.

How special! Hepburn Springs Motor Inn management had turned on the wall heating unit prior to our arrival and we entered a warm toasty ground floor room. Room was typical hotel style with its brick wall and patterned bedspreads, but it was also spacious, very clean and comfortable. That wall unit was more than satisfying, generating ample heat. Reception staff were extremely friendly and housekeeping is obviously doing an excellent job. The motor inn is conveniently located near Hepburn Springs bathhouse (though its far too pricey these days to enter!) and walking distance to a few cafes, walking tracks, Rubens restaurant and the theatre next door. It's a quiet hotel, with parking at the door. When packing up the car management staff came out to wish us well on our travels and to invite us back again in future. Highly recommend this hotel for a warm comfortable stay.

We loved our stay here! Super friendly and welcoming. Our room was large and spotlessly clean with a really nice view over the treetops in the valley. Excellent shower and the air conditioning was brand new and whisper quiet which is quite a rarity! There is a fantastic cafe and bar literally next door. This motel is right in the centre of a beautiful little town. Definitely worth a stay.

The hotel was right in the centre of Daylesford. We parked the car in their car park and never used it again as we walked everywhere. The room was spacious and had a lovely view out over the town and of the water fountain in the main street. The decor is a bit outdated but everything was clean and tidy. The owners were excellent, even took the time to sit with us and enjoy a glass of wine in the bar that they have. The other members of staff were also friendly. We took a walk to The Amazing Mill and then down to the lake. The town is lovely to walk up and down. In the evening we walked the Daylesford pub for a drink and the on for a lovely meal in on of the towns many restaurants (75 we were told). Had a lovely breakfast the next day in the hotel.

This is our second year staying at the Central Springs Inn for the Chillout weekend. Both years, we've had a fantastic comfortable stay in the heritage building. The bed was comfy, the room was very clean and quiet and the shower had good pressure with a good shower head. The airconditioning also worked really well in our split level mezanine room. The accommodation itself is a couple of minutes walk from the main street in Daylesford so very well located. Overall a really pleasant place to stay, and we have already booked our weekend again for next year

The friendly, helpful greeting on arrival was lovely. The friendliness carried through when we had breakfast the next morning. Our room was cosy, the fireplace ready to light the fire. Location perfect to walk around to a gorgeous little French restaurant for dinner. All in all, a really lovely stay.

The heritage rooms were spacious, comfortable and very clean. Although there were basic coffee/ tea facilities and a fridge, the property was within walking distance to fantastic restaurants and shops, so no need for anything else. The garden had lots of seating areas for outside drinks and eating. Parking within the property grounds was a bonus. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Great position the room was very clean and comfortable . Hosts very helpful and friendly bowls club next door did lovely meals and great service. Contential breakfast was good and breakfast room was very comfortable . Walking distance to town centre and other eateries

Charles and Adrian are the perfect hosts, it starts from the moment you park the car. Adrian greeted us in the car park with his friendly smile. We booked the Dudley King Spa Studio, the room was clean, warm, cosy and absolutely beautifully decorated. Charles and Adrian have thought of everything to make sure one’s stay is memorable. What makes this place so special is the attention to detail. Let me explain, at breakfast I ordered decaffeinated coffee, the next day I found decaffeinated coffee capsules next to the coffee machine provided in the room. This is just one small example. I would definitely book the escape package. The wine, cheese and canapés brought to your room before heading out to dinner is a nice beginning to a great evening. Their concierge service to your booked restaurant is also another nice touch as Charles drops you off at the front door, no need to worry about parking. Breakfast was outstanding, locally sourced produce cooked and presented to perfection. I highly recommend The Dudley Hotel experience, we rarely ever return to the same place because we like to have different experiences but in this case we are definitely returning. Thank you Charles and Adrian for an amazing weekend. Look forward to returning soon.

Service is exceptional, from being met at the door by Charles and sorting things at reception and then showing us through the hotel, including all the latest technology they have incorporated , and then settling in the Dudley Heritage King room, we really felt at home and relaxed. A good size room, comfortable king bed and the bathroom was spacious and a great shower. The heritage look included quality furnishings, loved the paintings, and the colour scheme was well thought out and enhanced the look - great attention to detail. At breakfast we met Adrian, the other half of what we considered to be perfect hosts. Make sure you book " the full treatment" here as the breakfast is superb - the starters, including the daily bake which we looked forward to....coconut cake, bread & butter pudding, blueberry muffins, then to fresh fruit, and that is before the a la carte cooked meal choices - i had something different each day! Then of course pre dinner each night, enjoy canapes, wine, cheese and biscuits in the lounge or library and enjoy the warmth from the fire, and to make you totally relaxed be chauffer driven to your restaurant of choice and then picked up to return to the hotel. Outside of that within walking distance is the park, pavilion, various spring waters to try or have the full spa treatment at the bathhouse.....short drive into Daylesford for shopping, you can't go wrong! We loved our stay and will return - would recommend to all our friends.

We had the most perfect winter weekend away for my husbands birthday thanks to Adrian and Charles at The Dudley. This small Boutique hotel is so warm, welcoming and luxurious. I would go as far to say its one of the best hotel experiences that we have had in Australia in the 10 years that we have lived here. The Getaway package was such a fabulous bonus which included the most delicious three course breakfast, delightful pre-dinner canapés, cheese and wine whilst relaxing in front of the open fire and then being driven to and from our chosen dinner venue in a luxury vehicle. It really was a 5 star experience! We loved this place and would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves to be made to feel special. The location was also fabulous being just a short walk to the Hepburn Bathhouse and across the road from Hepburn Springs Reserve. It is the perfect place to disconnect and recharge.

Charles and Adrian were such amazing hosts, and the property is immaculately clean and very inviting. We had one of the two spa retreat rooms separate from the hotel itself and it was extremely peaceful. The rooms were equipped with ample hanging space, a large clean modern bathroom with great lighting & also most importantly a super comfy bed & pillow menu. Charles cooked an amazing a La carte breakfast which was included in our package & Adrian’s service was superb. Charles also acted as our chauffeur in their Range Rover taking us to some local restaurants under their recommendation. Would definitely stay here again & recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the Hepburn Springs/Daylesford area for a fully relaxing experience.

House was absolutely beautiful. The spa was immaculately clean, the bed was fresh and fluffy and comfortable, and the little touches of ambience were gorgeous. The outdoor balcony and double showers a highlight and a perfect view of the sunset outside. Chocolates, champagne and candles were a gorgeous addition along with robes, kitchen appliances and a huge tv for the footy! Easy access, lots of suggestions for stuff to do from host and just generally a wonderful experience. Immaculately clean and homey. Thank you for having us!

My partner and I stayed in the Fire villa, the villa was absolutely stunning and felt very cozy and the view from the balcony was so beautiful and peaceful. We were welcomed with a complementary wine on arrival and there were some heart chocolates which made the stay feel special. The spa bath was amazing and so clean as well as everything else and very presentable. They also had provided a lot of things to cook with if need be. My partner and I really enjoyed the stay!

Breakfast was a lovely touch, the bread was beautiful and fresh and the little jams so adorable and delicious. Location was wonderful too as it was about 4 minutes from all the nearby restaurants and shops. All the little touches to make our stay special (marshmallows for the fireplace, heart chocolates and notes) were so appreciated, we're so glad to have spent our anniversary here. Special thank you to the cleaner and owner for making sure my ring got to me as I forgot it on the tub haha

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy place! The location was perfect, host was very responsive and provided us with great local tips. The place was spotless, with a comfortable bed, strong Wi-Fi, and a well-equipped kitchen. Love it! BTW, the bread was so good!

We were very happy with our accomodation for our first stay in Daylesford. My first impression was that it was very clean and had nice decor. It is in a central location, only a few minutes in each direction and you are in the centre of Daylesford or Hepburn Springs. I like that it is a self sufficent apartment, we could bring our own food and drinks and the kitchenette had all the appliances we needed (microwave, toaster, kettle and such). The bed was comfy and the bathroom had a spa (which is a must for me) but we struggled to get 2 people in due to the awkward shape/size. There are only 2 points of criticism: 1- The front glass doors that face the main road are the only 'windows' in the room. So if you don't want the street looking into your room and close the curtains for privacy, you have no natural light or air flow through the room. The room can seem quite dark. 2 - We were in a downstairs apartment. Lucky for us I don't think there were many other visitors at the time, however whomever was in the upstairs apartment, we could hear constant 'stomping' around. So if you are looking for somewhere peaceful and romantic, this many not be the place for you. Overall we were very happy :)

Our first interaction with the professional, friendly, very helpful staff at Hotel Frangos was faultless. And it continued that way for the whole two days of our great stay. Kudos to Frongos staff! We love Hotel Frangos. It was all we hope for and more. The rooms are fantastic. We had the Rouge Room. Absolutely loved it. Some reviews mention stairs and creaky floors. Yep they are there. All part of the experience. We loved the creaky floors. I have severe knee arthritis. Hey.. I managed the stairs well. And staff assisted with baggage when needed. Heating was great. Wood fires in the bar and cafe/restaurant. Great art and decor every where. Good choice of music playing at just the right level. Lots of ambience. Even Frangos 'rough' edges are loveable. Frangos is perfectly imperfect. We loved the meals. Faultless. Enjoyable. Beautiful service. Rear courtyard is cute. Car parking is plentiful. A highlight is location. Frangos is right in the centre of the delightful town of Daylesford. Step out of the front door and there you are in amongst it all. Daylesford has been part of our larger tour of Victoria. Hotel Frangos has made absolutely helped make it a totally enjoyable experience. Thank you Hotel Frangos.

Hotel Frangos is quirky, fun, has atmosphere, is clean, the bed is so comfortable and the owners staff are just great. Don’t go expecting 5-star luxury, however, embrace the 1850,s building with its creaky floors, unique rooms, great styling and fabulous service. Enjoy the central location, the fabulous art, awesome cocktails, individually styled rooms and hard-working staff who strive to help make your stay enjoyable.

The room was a good size and comfortable. Air-conditioning and facilities worked well. The shower and bathroom area was spacious. The cafe and bar are located on the ground floor great. The outside bar area is also good. The staff are friendly and helpful. The building is an older style pub with great character. It is also very close to convenience stores and grocery stores. It is located in the centre of Daylesford and is close to many attractions.

A lovely old building in a great location. The bed was amazing, very comfortable! The bathroom was enormous with a spa and spacious shower. The downsides to the room was the lack of any kind of storage or space to put anything. Only 2 armchairs and a coat rack, no wardrobe, and i desperately needed an iron which i could only ask for the next day during staffing time. The bathroom also lacked any storage or shelving. Very impractical. Also the heavy glass doors were quite anoying to have to open each time to go to the bathroom. The most annoying thing was the lack of any cutlery, only 2 tiny coffee cups , a very small fridge, and nothing to wash dishes with. I don't mind that there was no housekeeping, however there needs to be cleaning stuff and extra soaps, shampoos etc.

Perfect place for a night in Daylesford. Super clean, safe and beds were comfy. Excellent location, a few minutes walk to the main area and right near a supermarket too. The team were super helpful and posted an item back to me when I left it in the room. Also had a really good heating and cooling system! Thank you so much. Will definitely be back.

We required an accessible room and the room and bathroom were excellent. Plenty of room in the bathroom and the shower drainage design allowed the floor to stay dry outside the curtain. The location was perfect for all sightseeing and the room was immaculately clean and well equipped for our stay. The staff were friendly and the cleaner was very helpful. We loved staying here.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was comfortable and had a small kitchenette. We were made to feel welcome right from the time we checked in. Its in a quiet location and close to the town centre with its lovely cafes and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Dalesford.

The location was perfect. Very central, great amenities, lovely staff, very clean and comfortable. The room was bigger than we expected. The shower was really good! We often bought dinner at the bar and they would deliver it to our room. The food there was also incredible. The heater was good and the electric blanket on the bed was perfect. Can’t fault the place!

The room was modern and spacious for an old pub. The bathroom was impressive, with a double shower. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The balcony overlooking Daylesford was lovely. The tea and coffee provisions were neatly hidden away in a larger drawer underneath the bench. It was cold night, but after we turned off the heating, the room stayed warm all night. It is right in the centre of Daylesford which was handy for a bakery breakfast.

When we opened the door we were blown away with how lovely the rooms and bathroom was. It far exceeded my expectations. The breakfast boxes are an outstanding addition. The sheets and bedding - all excellent. Whoever designed the renovation should be congratulated. The exposed brick walls and leadlight glass are gorgeous. The access to the balcony was great. The blinds, lighting and TV worked beautifully. The view overlooking the leafy green tree was beautiful. Parking was easy and we were pleased that it was available. The staff are so helpful. We had a kettle that needed to be replaced and they brought it up within minutes. The spa bath was amazing. We were blown away with how beautiful room 8 + 8a are - amazing value and we are planning to come back.

We've stayed at the Royal in previous years and thorougly enjoyed our stay this time. This visit did not disappoint! So close to all the local attractions, shopping and easy to walk to the Lakehouse restaurant for our planned annniversary dinner. The Royal staff are friendly and helpful, provide great service in the dining areas and very clean and comfortable rooms. One small thing, storing clothes was limited to 4-5 hangers for jackets only and no space for trousers or skirts!

The hotel has the old charm with modern and clean facilities. Room was clean and comfortable. We had coffee making facilities and we were also supplied with a Kick start breakfast which was greatly appreciated. Well done. Definitely would stay again...

Absolutely loved the accommodation. Was clean, warm comfortable value for money. The facilities in the Apartment perfect. Loved the gas log fire certainly made the room warm and inviting on a cold night. The Balcony with table and chairs was a bonus with lovely views. The kitchenette was perfect and lots of kitchenware for eating in. The lounge has 2 very comfy couches. The hot water was in abundance and the bathroom spacious with a spa bath. Would definitely recommend to say here. Apartment 5 2 bedroom Parking right outside the room. The staff especially Jason was very friendly and easy to contact.

The Albert Hotel is a wonderful place to stay. The apartment was roomy, beautifully decorated, comfortable and quiet. We appreciated that lights and heating were on when we arrived. It's in a great location within easy walking distance to the main part of Daylesford. We walked to dinner at an amazing French restaurant (Bistro Terroir). We would have loved to stay longer. Highly recommended.

It was a lovely traditional building. very clean. In a very close position to town and The Convent Gallery. so quiet and beds were comfortable. Only a short walk to shops and restaurants. We were given a $25 voucher to Frangos restaurant.

Great location - seriously good location. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Very quiet at night, in fact, it is quiet during the day too. Plenty of towels etc. left for use over our stay. Very, very comfortable beds. In fact, amazingly comfortable! We would stay there again.

Even the weather was awful, we still enjoyed our 3 days holiday in this accommodation. Everything you’ll need during your stay is well provided. And the kitchen is full of all kinds of utensils. The decoration is awesome, fits well with it’s natural view, definitely worth the price(the mattress is super comfy). WIFI is great, and they have all accounts logged in ready to go on both downstairs and upstairs’s TV. Just when I thought it can’t be any better, they post me back my staff that I forgot to pack for free…

Everything. Particularly the green surroundings which you can see from every room in the house. Our children called it a “treehouse”. :) The living room on the 1st floor is amazing. The 2 spas ate extra luxury. Beds were also very comfortable. Easy checkin. Great proactive communication by host.
