The hotel is located right in the city center, 5 minutes walk to the train station. Great hotel restaurant with delicious meals, so you don't have to go out and search for a place for dinner. We've got an excellent twin room on the roof floor with two double beds, two TVs and a jacuzzi in the bathroom. It's a perfect match when you are travelling with children.

I had an exceptional stay at the Best Western Plus Hotel Eyde in Herning. The hotel's central location made it easy to explore the city, and the free parking was a great convenience. My room was modern, clean, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options. I particularly enjoyed dining at the on-site restaurant, Sankt Jørgen, which provided a fantastic culinary experience. Overall, a highly recommended hotel for both business and leisure travelers

A very nice hotel in the heart of Herning. We felt a good atmosphere, with soft carpets and corners where you can sit and enjoy your coffee. Our room was very cosy and clean. The breakfast buffet was delicious and with a good variety. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The location was perfect (five minutes walking from the city center, bars, restaurants, shops etc),the breakfast had a great variety and was tasteful and the personnel was helpful. The room was big and clean.The bed was comfortable. The hotel has also a private parking.

Hotel is located next to the beautiful lake.  Every morning we had this beautiful and peaceful view during breakfast.  It's very comfortable to walk along the lake before or after breakfast; basically anytime of the day. Lovely breakfast every morning with enough choices of food and drink. We had one time a 2 courses dinner at the restaurant. Food quality is good!  However the service could have been better. The waiter did what he needed to do in general but there was not even one smile (actually he looked quite grumpy) throughout the time. It didn't feel very welcoming for customers. On the contrary, the reception staff (we came across 3 different staff) were all friendly and helpful. Wellness area with jacuzzi, stream, sauna and a small indoor pool is a great place to relax. There's also a gym which we did not use. We also love the cozy sitting area (with big windows viewing the lake) just out of the restaurant or one level above. We appreciate the eco concept which is no housekeeping service or change of towels every day provided that you request by the reception. After 2 nights (we stayed for 4 nights) we requested housekeeping cleaning. The room was tidy up but the bedsheets were not changed and toilet papers were not refilled. This part is the minus point to us. Overall, we had a pleasant stay there. Hotel is comfortable and close to a nice golf course. Would like to stay there again if we visit Viborg or closeby area again.

This is our 2 time back at this hotel. Very friendly personnel at the reception and the restaurant. The only bad encounter We had was the hair dryer. It smells like an insect got burnt inside the hair dryer when I turned it on. I forgot to inform the reception that it is a defect hair dryer. Parking Lots too small. If your have a bigger car and parked beside another Big car, you only have a few millimeter to get out of your car. We invited our daughter to join us for breakfast and she’s not a hotel guest. We were not even Asked for our room number when We entered the breakfast room. We informed the reception about it when We checked out so that We could pay for the extra breakfast. One of our go-to hotels whenever We visit our daughter in Viborg.

I am giving 10/10 not because the hotel is most modern nor it has the newest facilities. I am giving 10 because this hotel is a hiden gem for weekend getaway. Amazing value for reasonable price that you pay for. Everything from amazing breakfast, cleanliness of facilities and spa. As mentioned the hotel is not the newest one, but is very well mantained and kept. If you are going for one night I recommend to visit Pizzaria Pavarotti or Ølluminati that are in walkable 10-15 minutes distance. We will definitely come back. Thanks again !

Room was large, tastefully decorated with cute little balcony overlooking some of the roofs of old Skagen. Breakfast was excellent - good selection of a la carte items along with a delicious buffet and freshly baked breads and pastries. Their omelette was cooked to perfection. Lounge area by reception was a perfect 'hyggelig" area for guests to relax with a drink, read, play cards or chess. Had delicious Moules Frites for dinner in their vibrant Brasserie restaurant. Would definitely come back to this hotel.

Excellent stay, a nice Hotel situated in a very special location. There was a wide variety of food available for breakfast, with their own baked bread, and the food served in the Brasserie was also of a very high standard, The staff were friendly, polite and very helpful assisting in our request for a room with access that would be easier for my partner. The room we stayed in was stylish, comfortable with a well equipped bathroom and an outside balcony. A minor criticism would be the room was over warm for sleeping and Wi-Fi and TV could have intermittent reception. However it will not stop us from staying again. Thank you to all the staff.

This is a pricey place, by British (collapsing nation) standards. It is an extremely comfortable (yet not "luxurious") place; but it really delivers. The staff are fantastic. Mesmerising in their professionalism, friendliness and efficiency. There are cosy places to sit downstairs. The food is fabulous, the setting wonderful, the general "vibe" is uniquely accessible to all. The room was delightful; very comfortable without being ostentatious. All of it is immaculately clean and well (but discreetly) serviced. If I could, I would stay here every year.

We loved the location, close to the beach but also the room, breakfast, dinner -- everything about it and the location was perfect for those wanting to explore Skagen area of Denmark. Many people were walking, running, biking as well as driving. It was simply perfect for people who want to relax and yet explore.

Fantastic Breakfast/Dinner. They have bicycles available to rent. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. We loved our stay.

On arrival we first thought we may have made a mistake booking this hotel (not impressed). Small room where the bathroom was an obvious 'add-on' and very compact. Rather plain surroundings etc. By the end our our 2-day stay we were, however, very happy with our choice. The friendly and very personable staff (mother and daughter team), the simple comforts, slow pace and neighborhood/location - biking (or long walk) distance to the beach, 7 minute car-ride to Skagen, walking distance to the train station and the home-made breakfast included (delicious bread and jams etc.).

It was a great experience for my family to stay in this hotel. The location was very central to skagens tourist attraction. The family who run the hotel were sweet and attentive to what we need as a guest. It was a home away from home for us, as they welcome us warmly. I certainly recommend this hotel for travellers, also because of their homemade breakfast, it was an added bonus.

It's a family owned property. They are very friendly and helpful. The food was all home cooked and very delicious. We loved this place and will book there again when returning to Denmark.

Stella Maris Hotel de Luxe is a wonderful place. We stayed during the quiet season and found the hotel to be quite a serene enviornment. The room was spacious, luxurious, extremely clean, and had a balcony overlooking the garden that stretched out to the sea. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and found both meal to be very enjoyable and delicious, with attentive and friendly service. This is one place that I cannot wait to return to.

We stayed just 2 nights here for a relaxing time between two business meetings. The location is beautiful and it is worth paying that little bit extra for a sea view. The décor is charming and the staff extremely helpful. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant on both nights, the menu is limited but well thought out and as we do not eat meat o the second night they provided a special option for us.

A beautiful location overlooking the water, spectacular and quiet. Room was lovely and comfortable, breakfast served at the table was incredible and the staff extremely helpful. I could not recommend Stella Maris enough. I would certainly like to return for a relaxing couple of days.

We decided to stay in Svendborg after spending a weekend on Aero, rather than heading all the way back to Copenhagen on the train after the ferry ride. This had seemed like a very special place when I was doing my research online, and it certainly was. Our room was beautiful and we had an amazing dinner in the restaurant there. The strange thing was that we were the only guests in this large hotel. The receptionist told us that they are completely booked for weekend weddings and conferences. On this particular Sunday in May, it just happened that we were the only people staying. As a result, we were asked what time we wanted breakfast, and had a beautiful meal laid out just for us. We felt very pampered. We arrived in the afternoon and wanted to do some exploring. They have several printed little cards with a variety of possible walks in the area around the hotel, and this was a nice way to pass the time.

The room was comfortable, the mattress was good. The restaurant and bar section in the hotel is lovely and feels trendy and luxurious, particularly in the evening. We LOVED the breakfast. The buffet has a good spread and each item is great. From soft boiled eggs, omelets, sausages, crispy bacon, warm paté, many types of fresh rolls and bread, a delicious chicken mayonnaise, organic butter, jams, and many different types of mini sized pastries. The cook who was working there during the breakfast was very kind and friendly, and you could feel that she had put a lot of thought and love into every item served at breakfast.

Staff were really friendly and helpful especially in the restaurant with our fussy toddler and the waitress brought her colouring to do to help entertain her! Lovely little touch. Spacious rooms. lots of restaurants to choose from. We ate in the Italian which was amazing. Unfortunately the rooms had very thin walls and ceilings, you could hear people walking very loudly, running of taps etc and also hear the church bell & clock at certain times of the day so if you’re a light sleeper it made it difficult. There is also not access to hot drinks even though it states a coffee maker in the room there wasn’t and were told you had to be best western members to get free hot drinks! Also, if buying bar snacks, check pricing- at reception they had a different price to the bar (lower) on the label and then when purchased they actually cost more than the bar, when questioned we were told well that’s what the till system says so that’s the cost (left abit of a sour taste in our mouths!)

Nice hotel with a great restaurant area. Decent sized room with a really comfy bed. Few slight issues to bring the rating down…. Bathroom flooded when you had a shower as was a wet room rather than a cubicle. And it was slightly odd with the only ‘window’ being like a door on to a courtyard which would give no privacy if there was anyone out there. Would’ve liked a kettle in the room. Appreciated the free coffee machine in the restaurant area but I really wanted a coffee when I woke up, and would rather have not have waited until I was dressed!

Rolling in on last minute booking for a hotelroom on a business trip, you don’t expect much. Maybe a standard-issue hotel, a lumpy bed, and a sad breakfast buffet with those rubbery scrambled eggs. But Best Western ToRVEhallerne? This place gets it right. Early check-in on a Sunday—rare, but they made it happen. A bed on the softer side, but comfortable enough to crash after a long day. And then the breakfast. The kind that makes you forget you’re on the road. Bacon, eggs, grilled tomatoes—cooked right, not just sad, lukewarm garnish. Worchestershire Sauce and Tabasco on hand, because some places still respect a proper breakfast plate. Healthy, hearty, and exactly what you need to fuel another day of meetings and miles. No frills, no nonsense, just a damn good stay.

The hotel is in a great location, very central to shops, bars and restaurants. The staff were particularly lovely and always charming and very helpful. We had a very nice bedroom with a comfy bed, great shower. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful little hotel in the centre of Aarhus and a great base to enjoy the city from We had a lovely en-suite with a bath which we enjoyed. We did feedback to the staff that it drained very slowly and up through the shower after we used it, which they assured us they would sort out. Very comfy bed and spacious room. Breakfast was a good variety of buffet food with options for myself being gluten free We would stay again.

Lovely little hotel in Aarhus, very convenient situated to reach all the man attractions. Rooms are very clean and bright and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is traditional continental with a wide range of bread, meat, fish and pastries. The team are very helpful and make you feel welcome. Ideal for people that like placers with character and enjoying their creature comforts.

Fantastic Litte Hotel i The very Cool part of Aarhus. Pretty old House 3 floors -no lift- Very charming court yard for outdoor drinks. Very friendly and professional staff - Only Breakfast but many good resturants close by - walking distance from The Central Station. Can only recommend this Hotel - Its one to remember - go and check it out

Loved the peaceful and friendly vibe in this hotel. Stayed in a room with a shared bathroom. Everything was very clean. Breakfast in the garden was my highlight. Would definitely go there again.

Simple, basic, no thrills, convenient place to overnight. The beds were sufficient, the rooms were spacious enough and the toilet acceptable. Breakfast was typical and what you would expect from an average hostel. No internet. Staff friendly and helpful.

We were there for one night. The apartment was big and clean. The buffet for breakfast was very good with different bread, muesli, fruits and vegetables. The madam from the reception (owner?) was really friendly. By feet or bycicle, the center is reachable within some minutes.

Good located near center of Skagen, the museum, the Drachman and ANcher House ... even to Grenen and the ensabled church I walked. Restaurants also nearby. Prking on premis. Very good breakfast and friendly staff. The room was OK.

Initially it was difficult to find, but a delightful space. Just enough off the beaten path. Breakfast was amazing and everyone was so nice.

This property is quaint and beautiful. The rooms are stunning - a bit like travelling back in time but with a modern shower. There are cosy cabin beds and sitting area downstairs with a large double room upstairs. We stayed for my birthday and my daughter had pre-ordered a bottle of bubbly which was beautifully presented in our room. We had a delicious meal in the evening, traditional Danish recipes hand-cooked at the property with local ingredients. The breakfast was equally splendid. Definitely take a visit to the wonderful wine cellar accessed from the restaurant. It was such a special place & everything I hoped for.

We had a wonderful dinner and huge breakfast here and enjoyed staying overnight. It made the perfect stop for us between Copenhagen and Aarhus. We found it very quaint and authentic but also comfortable and clean. A special place to visit.

This is a converted farmhouse and farming complex dating back to the 1830s. They have fixed up all of the old rooms very comfortably and the restaurant is excellent. If you like exotic liqueur you will be amazed by their collection of scotch (250) rum (40) cognac (30) Armagnac (20) and aquavit (without number). The farm is located by the side of a lovely river and overlooks a meadow. The grounds are beautiful. The staff are friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating. The hostess took us on a tour of the wine cellar. If you prefer 21st century chrome and glass you will be disappointed. If you like something different with history and charm you will love this place.

We felt like being treated like king and queens. Rooms were great at this historic place in the county side. Food very yummy especially breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you for a couple of great days at Svostrup Kro.

What a superb place! We arrived late after our car broke down, but a lovely evening meal was waiting for us in the restaurant even although it was nearly time to close. We had a large dog with us, and the room allocated on the ground floor of the stables was very spacious, well appointed and had a semi-enclosed garden area with views onto fields, and plenty of places to walk out dog on and off lead. We had to spend a second unbooked night as we had difficulty in arranging suitable car hire transport to take us on to Sweden: the staff could not have been more helpful in arranging continued accommodation for us. The castle and its surrounding buildings are wonderful, and there is an interesting museum illustrating the past history of the castle including (with interest to me as a Scot) its links to Bothwell and Mary Queen of Scots. The restaurant facilities are well deserving of their Michelin Nordic accolade, and the Bistro breakfasts are memorable. One of the nicest places we have ever stayed in!

Stunning setting for this castle on a moat. We were delighted with our large comfortable room in the castle up on the 2nd floor with a fabulous view across the grounds, gardens and moat. Dinner at the Michelin restaurant was beautifully presented and served, and breakfast was especially excellent and thoughtful.Staff were kind and helpful and always gracious. The gardens were delightful, even in the pouring rain. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The hotel is on amazing property. Everything about it is great and was beyond expectations. The food is delicious in any of the restaurants. The staff goes over and beyond to assist. Each hotel room has it appeal in the castle. The only note, since it is an old hotel there is not AC. The windows were fine in my case.

I booked this hotel while coming to Copenhagen for the half marathon. I tried to book somewhere with good location. This hotel is right next to a metro and I mean steps away so perfect for getting anywhere in Copenhagen. It's also next to train station. So location gets 5 out of 5. I booked a junior suite as had a jacuzzi bath for after run which was amazing. The room itself was large. Had fridge, kettle, coffee maker, microyand toaster. As well as small kitchen area. In bathroom you had toiletries and hair dryer. So no complaints with room apart from finding the last occupants dirty socks next to bed. Main complaint with this hotel is noise as you are so close to metro the street noise is so loud quite late into night. We were on ground floor and found people congregated outside and we were kept awake. So this hotel has no restaurant so breakfast is provided by delivery to room of a continental type breakfast. You get fresh rolls danish pastries and fruit and yoghurt and big carton of apple juice. We ended up having as a lunch as wasn't delivered to 8am and both mornings we had to eat earlier due to going to parkrun and the half marathon so didnt suit but it didn't go to waste.

The hotel is right in front of the metro exit — super convenient! It's very quiet, clean, and the rooms are spacious. The reception staff changed daily but were always friendly and welcoming. We loved the fresh bread and pastries left at our door every morning at 8 a.m. The room had everything we needed: iron, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, kettle, dishes, and more. There's a small breakfast basket in the fridge, replenished daily. No bottled water, but juice is provided, and tap water is drinkable. Just don’t forget to bring your own slippers! If you're looking for a calm place without a buffet or restaurant crowd, this hotel is perfect. We really enjoyed our stay — thank you!

Amazing location, a few steps from the metro station and easy access to everywhere. It is in a nice neighbourhood with good choice of restaurants nearby. We ate twice at Apropos cafe and recommend the food quality there. This hotel is a gem, with large and spacious rooms. Including a kitchenette which was a fantastic bonus. This made self-catering for lunch easy and great for the in-room breakfast. This greatly added value to our stay. The breakfast was perfect for our needs with freshly baked rolls and pastries, fruit, juice, spreads & yogurt. The staff are friendly and helpful and the cleaning was done to a high standard.

Convenient location 5 minutes to Central Station, within walking distance to all popular sights. Cosy comfortable spacious room, with toaster Nespresso machine, microwave and mini fridge! Included continental breakfast delivered hung outside door, with freshest pastries and bread rolls, in fridge breakfast basket replenished every day with jams, butters various cheeses honey and yoghurt tubs! Loved it! Also complimentary tea and coffee all day downstairs until reception closed Having table and 2 chairs was comfortable to eat, additionally had a desk as well for your tourist home work!

Room was clean and spacious, comfy beds and nice hot shower. Small kitchenette had all the basics and we enjoyed the breakfast basket delivered to our room each day. The location is excellent, near to both metro stops and the central station, although we walked everywhere. Despite being so central we found the hotel to be very quiet, no street noise (even when windows opened).

My wife and I had a great stay. We got lucky and were able to check in earlier. The spa and saunas are wonderful. They had some hydro jets in certain areas as well as dry and wet saunas. Cold plunge and jacuzzi outside. Breakfast was delicious as well as snacks we got for lunch and dinner. Just a wonderful place to stay if you are staying in the hotel for the day to enjoy the amenities.

Absolutely everything was likeable! The hotel was spotlessly clean, staff provided great service and were also very friendly yet professional. The spa included so much variety. The breakfast buffet included everything you could think of. The beach is right across the road with a lovely setup. Even rooms just 1 floor up such as mine with a courtyard view, actually include a sea view too, which was a fantastic surprise!

We have just returned home having spent 6 nights at the Kurhotel as part of a trip to Denmark and the Netherlands. We couldn't have been happier - we had a lovely room with a balcony over looking the sea and the room was just so comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful in all areas of the hotel. The spa is such a relaxing place to spend the evening and we never found it busy. I had a massage one evening and it really was such a treat. Breakfasts are delicious. It’s only a 20 minute train journey into Copenhagen and the train station is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. I would highly recommend the Kurhotel - a relaxing place to stay.

It’s such a cosy place for a relaxing weekend, everything is very comfortable and tidy and the breakfast is absolutely amazing. The view on the sea is amazing and the spa deserves 4 stars.

The location is perfect with a broad view of the sound between Denmark and Sweden. The grounds are green and well kept, the architecture of the hotel and spa are tasteful and there are ample lounge space inside with comfortable sofa nooks. The rooms are very well and thoughtfully appointed with extremely comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. The breakfast buffet is very good. The hotel has a swimming jetty across the street with several benches on which to sunbathe. The ladders into the water are very securely arranged against slipping. In addition to swimming pleasures, there is also a lot of hiking trails in the forest surrounding the hotel, and bicycles are available. One more bonus: the s-train that links you with downtown Copenhagen is two steps away from the hotel.

We recently stayed at the Phoenix Copenhagen Hotel, and it was an excellent and truly pleasant experience from start to finish. The hotel is perfectly located — just a 4-minute walk to the metro (with access to lines M1, M2, M3, and M4) and only 3 minutes from Nyhavn and Amalienborg Palace. The location makes it ideal for exploring Copenhagen on foot or by public transport. The hotel combines beautiful historic architecture with impeccable maintenance in both the common areas and the rooms. We stayed in a standard room, which, while compact, was thoughtfully designed and very comfortable. There was excellent natural and artificial lighting, and the windows open for fresh air and natural ventilation. The air conditioning worked perfectly, making the stay very pleasant. The cleanliness was outstanding, and the room felt warm, cozy, and inviting. The bathroom was modern, well-equipped, and comfortable, with everything we needed provided. Breakfast was delicious and varied, offering a great start to the day, and the hotel staff was superb — friendly, professional, and attentive throughout our stay. Although summer rates are on the higher side, the overall experience absolutely justifies the price. This is a hotel that invites you to return, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Copenhagen.

I stayed here for 3 nights on a solo trip to Copenhagen. Here are my pros and cons. Pros: the location is fantastic. Lovely area and central enough to walk to all the main attractions. Staff are welcoming and friendly and greeted me every time I walked in. Room size is good, would be just as comfortable for 2 people. Lots of space for storage and a well stocked mini-bar and in-room coffee facility. Great breakfast with a wide selection and always fresh and fully stocked. Cons: rooms feel quite tired and dated so could do with modernising. The area is generally pretty quiet but Fridays and Saturdays you can hear a lot of outside noise (mostly people coming back from a night out and cars driving up and down). I am quite sensitive to noise and a light sleeper so might not bother majority of people. There was an outdoor light outside my room that was very bright and couldn’t be fully blocked by the curtains. Again, might not bother most people. Shower bath is an odd size/shape and tricky to get in and out of. Overall, a lovely little hotel with a location that can’t be beat. I would definitely stay here again but would (personally) ask for a room higher up (I was on the first floor) or a courtyard room to help dampen the noise/light outside. Would recommend.

We had a very nice stay at the Phoenix Hotel in Copenhagen. The staff is very helpful and friendly, the rooms are comfortable and very clean. The buffet breakfast is excellent, lots of choices. The hotel is located within walking distance of many of the tourist sites and near a Metro stop. The one negative, and it's a small one, there is no shelf for shampoo and soap, it resided on the floor of our walk-in shower. Over all, our stay was great and I would definitely stay there again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was pleasant and clean with a very comfortable bed and it was lovely to have a bathtub. The hotel foyer was comfortable to sit in and we appreciated the fresh citrus flavoured water always provided there.

Such an amazing place to stay in Copenhagen! It is very central to many of the main sites but not right where everyone is. It made walking to all the places we needed to go so easy. Breakfast was good. Staff was super helpful! The room had a little bit of air conditioning which was AMAZING! We were there when it was very hot and having that air-conditioning at night was so wonderful. It as also one of the only hotels that we stayed in that had a mini fridge which was so nice for having cold water. The beds were really comfortable and the bathroom was so nice. After two weeks of traveling and many different hotel rooms it was nice to have these comforts for our 4 night stay. Parking was easy to pay for at check in and the garage was very secure and close to the location. We had a wonderful stay! Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone!

Stunning hotel . Staff absolutely fantastic , so helpful . Breakfast was amazing . The room was spotless . ( just second day when they got to clean the room ) . The food in the bar was red hot & so fresh . We ate lunch one day . Was greeted by a lovely Swedish lady Katrina ( I think ) nothing was too much trouble for her . We told her that we was taking the ferry to Sweden . Katrina told us which way to go. I am going back in a couple of months with my son , to fish. Would we even consider staying somewhere else . Amazing stay at a resort hotel. We paid for a room with ocean view and regretted nothing. Private balcony with the sound of ocean waves rolling in fit so well with the relaxing time spent walking the beach and hanging out in the many heating pools and other spa treatments. The food from the lobby restaurant hit the spot and the lobby bar was fun and hopping well into the evening.

The hotel is beautiful, well maintained, very clean and the view and access to the beach are incredible. We had dinner at 1861, the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Our room was nicely decorated and very spacious; the only thing that I didn’t like was the blanket, even though it was very soft, it was too thick so we couldn’t sleep very well.

This hotel is not particularly attractive on the outside but the location is fab – right on the water, walking distance to the town of Helsinør. Fun vibe inside, very busy, lots of events, fabulous sauna/spa area with lots of interesting scrubs and treatments. Great service both at check in and the restaurant. Excellent hotel restaurant. Rooms are comfortable although they have limited storage. Ping pong tables and hand shuffleboard add to the festive vibe. We greatly enjoyed our view of the water, would suggest splurging for a room with a view, so to speak. Helsinør suggestion: walk into town and sample the international food court, the Argentinian booth is delicious and inexpensive!

This is the best hotel I've ever had the opportunity to stay at, bar none. The location being right across from the train station is just the first plus of the hotel, and the clever integration/retrofit of a building in Tivoli is a very special and unique aspect that sets the hotel experience apart from other luxury hotels. It was a real pleasure being able to have breakfast with a view to the park and seeing the resident peacock crowing by the patio. Breakfast is a highlight and being able to get it through room service made my stay significantly more enjoyable, comfortable and convenient. The quality and selection available is at a high standard and quality. Service throughout the entire hotel, including the Rooftop Bar, Nimb Wellness, concierge, room service and housekeeping is top notch. The staff strikes the right mix between friendly, warm, welcoming, professional, and efficient. This is a 5-star hotel through and through. Lastly, I very much appreciated the small but thoughtful extras that I would be greeted with upon returning to my room for the evening. This included notes on guest-only Yoga sessions in the park to local microbrewery beers celebrating the Friday evening rock concerts. I've been to a couple boutique luxury hotels and big name American ones but NIMB is by far the best luxury hotel I've had the pleasure to stay at.

We booked a 2 night stay at the Nimb Hotel in a Deluxe room with views over Tivoli Gardens. The room was immaculate, the bed was comfy, the bath tub big enough for two and we had a lovely balcony / terrace overlooking the amusement park. The room came with everything you could possibly need for a weekend away and I can't fault anything. The facilities at the hotel included a roof top pool, 2 lovely bars, a selection of restaurants, a steam room and Wellbeing treatment centre which we also took advantage of. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had direct access to Tivoli Gardens from the hotel with access to all the amusements. We also hired bikes for the day from the hotel.The location was fantastic - very central and straight opposite the main station. Breakfast and drinks /cocktails were also all exceptional. I actually had the best Bloody Mary I've ever drunk.

The Nimb doesn't look like much from the street side, but that doesn't matter once you are inside the cozy lobby and greeted by the friendly reception staff. This is a luxury boutique hotel. I stayed two nights for a mini-weekend with my daughter. The location is fantastic - directly across from the Central Station and within walking distance of all the major sites. Our room was very comfortable with a view directly on to the Tivoli Gardens. No noise as the windows are double-glazed and sound proof once they are shut. The Nimb offers free admission to the Tivoli Gardens and will even provide tickets to some of the rides, should you wish. Lovely breakfast, comfortable dining room and separate bar/tea room. Terrific fitness/spa facility. All of the staff from the front desk to the wait staff to the housekeepers were friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back!

I’m not sure what rating to give the hotel. Many aspects were excellent but a few were very disappointing. The staff were the highlight of the hotel. Every person we interacted with from front desk, the spa and breakfast restaurant were amazing friendly. The hotel breakfast was wonderful. Lots of options and all delicious. The spa is very nice! The negatives, 2 of the 3 nights we stayed had a rock concert playing. One night from 10pm-11:30pm. It was LOUD! I tried sleeping with ear plugs and pillows over my head. My husband, who does business in US, had to take his business call in our bathroom. The second night was a biggest hits concert from 9pm-10:30pm and fireworks from 11:30pm-12pm. Having a peaceful nights sleep was IMPOSSIBLE. None of this was mentioned on the website, nor when we booked the hotel. The first time we were told about concerts was at checkin. When paying over $900 per night this is really unacceptable. Another downside was the bathroom. Our shower leaked onto the floor soaking a towel or rug every single time. It was the design not a clogged drain. Cleaning up water on the floor of the bathroom isn’t luxurious. Lastly the room was lacking. It didn’t feel luxurious or well thought out. We didn’t have drawers for clothing and no place to put a luggage rack. Poorly designed. We did mention the loud concerts and our leaking shower to the front desk. They brought us some extra towels and offered apologies. Unfortunately we would not return or recommend.

Certain hotels are synonymous with the city you visit. For us, Nimb fits that brief on all levels. We stayed during the first weekend of March, and although Tivoli was closed for it's annual maintenance, this had no impact on our stay. The staff are simply delightful at the Nimb, from reception to breakfast, to the bars in the evening. Of particular note were the young Italian waiter in The Nimb bar, and the lady at reception, both of who's name escapes me. The general manager Maria, took time to say Good Morning as we walked out from breakfast. It's this attention to detail and friendliness that makes you feel incredibly welcome and appreciated. The Nimb Wellness spa is a must visit after 20,000 steps around the city by day. As is the Nimb Bar for the wonderful fairytale cocktails. We had a deluxe room with a great view over Tivoli and a part complimentary mini bar which was most welcome. In summary, what an exquisite hotel in a perfect location with staff that are delightful.

Delicious food (highly recommend the restaurant!), lovely pool/Jacuzzi/sauna area outdoors, very attentive staff.

The apartments are very spacious and nice for a longer stay. The pool and the jacuzzi were nice as well.

La propiedad está súper bien ubicada si vienes en auto. A 5 minutos de la iglesia que está enterrada en arena a 15 de las dunas y a 15 minutos del encuentro de los mares del norte y báltico. Tiene un sauna increíble, jacuzzi y alberca y todo funciona perfecto!!!! Altamente recomendable.

We loved the location and the heated pool area with sauna and jacuzzi.

Both a hotel and apart-hotel complex. Ample parking, onsite pools, jacuzzi, saunas, games room etc. Perfect for children keeping them busy. Located a short bike ride or car journey to Skagen centre. We were out most of the time enjoying what skagen has to offer, that said beds were relatively comfortable, but it was warm at night in with No AC. Restaurant had a good selection of food available. All in all a pleasant experience.

I visited Skjern with my partner on the way to Århus to visit family. I wanted to explore the area and have a nice relaxing few days after a lot of time spent driving. The room (Panorama Suite) was spotless, modern and super comfortable with a great bed, jacuzzi and sitting area. The food in the restaurant was delicious. The staff were helpful and friendly. We had an excellent time and I highly recommend the hotel in this beautiful town.

To celebrate my husband's birthday, I booked a hotel package deal consisting of a one night stay in this hotel, whisky tasting and tour in the nearby internationally acclaimed Stauning Whisky Distillery, a three-course gourmet menu for dinner and breakfast buffet for a very reasonable price. The hotel is located centrally on the main street of the town and just opposite of the train station. It is newly renovated and tastefully decorated in black and white hues. The bed was comfortable and room was big enough for two, with a tea and coffee making kettle. Everything looked new and freshly painted.The huge black and white photos of Ringkøbing landmarks, which decorate the white walls of the room complimented the modern interior design. The three course meal served at the restaurant on the ground floor was delicious and innovative in the use of seasonal products coming from the area. It was definitely an experience, which we can recommend to whisky afficionados and food lovers. It is also a great base for exploring the Ringkøbing fjord area.

Nice hotel in Skjern on the very quiet Danish west coast. The hotel is located in the centre of Skjern a nice village with several restaurants in town. The hotel itself is modern has clean spacious rooms, offers free wifi and serves a modest brackfast. The dinner menu is limited but the dishes are great. Very friendly helpfull staff and a bar offering the possibility to have a drink in the evening. All in all a nice place to stay!

The breakfast was surprisingly well stocked, the staff very friendly and when asked, they were able to provide vegan butter which really made a huge and positive difference. There were also gluten free bread and options for that too. It was such a lovely buffet, and I was very impressed. The hotel's restaurant was an added bonus. They had some really great options and vegan options too. It was such a relief we didn't need to find other places to go. The parking options connected to the hotel were easy to reach and close by. Even though our rooms were a bit small, it was clear they had renovated the entire hotel recently, and everything was very clean, inviting and fresh. Great beds, and it was clear these were new too. There were efficient sound proofing from the street below too. It was even possible to have the windows letting in fresh air during the night, without them being actually open by a special setting. I really liked the quick check out service: place the key to your room in a jar when you leave!

Stayed here on a short business trip. The staff were extremely helpful and nice - always willing to help or advise - and always with a smile. The hotel is modern, clean and has all the normal facilities, including free Wi-Fi. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Could not fault it really. It does have a small restaurant - but the only downside of the whole hotel was that the restaurant closed at 9pm (but like most places). Buffet breakfast was not extensive but all you would normally need.

Stayed here two nights with some days in between. Nice big room at a good price including breakfast. Both rooms had sauna and jacuzzi but we didn’t use them. Free parking in an area with parking zone.

Sauna and jacuzzi in a v reasonably priced room - great value! I don't think you can get these facilities for cheaper anywhere in denmark, honestly. Less than 10m walk from train station.

The rooms at The Palads Hotel are very spacious and comfortable - great bed - there is free parking and the breakfast was very good too. Viborg is an outstanding town with many extremely well-preserved streets and buildings, shops and restaurants. We will definitely be returning someday and staying once again at The Palads Hotel.
