Great stay. Service was professionnal, friendly and very helpful. They even made reservation for us to go wine tasting. The hotel bar was great and the staff very friendly. They prepare a very nice iced coffee with vanilla. Ask for it, it's not on the menu. Location is very convenient with the tramway just outside the hotel and the mall next to it. There is a small but a nice swimming pool with a table to drink your cocktail with your feet in the water. Room was well equipped, clean, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was great. Definitely recommend.

Geoffrey was such an excellent representative of the hotel. He was friendly, helpful and accommodating and we can’t praise him enough. The maitre d in the restaurant was also helpful and friendly and recommended a delicious dinner selection for us.

The best aspect of this hotel is the location. It is right on the tram line into the center of Dijon and the trams run frequently. Comfy rooms, close to shops and restaurants, great breakfast, small but fun pool and lovely and clean sauna and steam room too. We use this hotel as a stop over on our journey to the south of France, it’s expensive but ensures our family of four all get a good nights sleep and a good breakfast before setting off again. Staff have always been very nice.

We had a very pleasant stay in Holiday Inn. The hotel is adjacent to a shopping center which was a bonus, and is about 15 minutes drive from center of Dijon. The hotel itself is very clean, the staff are welcoming and friendly. The restaurant serves exceptional quality, delicious food, a bit pricey but worth it.

We stayed at the Vertigo for just one night, on a stopover on our way to Corsica. The design is fabulous - gleaming black glass and marble everywhere. Our check-in and instructions for the parking were very easy and the lady on reception spoke both French and English fluently. Once in our room, we were both impressed with how well the relatively small space had been laid out, so it felt airy and light, with beautiful design features like waterfall taps in the sink. We stopped for a cocktail in the bar, which was delicious, before heading out to find dinner. The hotel is well placed to walk to plenty of restaurants. After a good night's sleep on the comfy, seemingly floating, bed, we had a full breakfast - eggs, bacon, sausages in cute little pots, plus the usual array of pastries - before a quick, simple checkout. We completely forgot that Vertigo also has a pool, so didn't use it, but would definitely return next time and do so. Recommended!

We booked two rooms at Vertigo for 4 nights. The hotel is exceptional inside and out. It has top-notch appointments and amenities, comfortable and quiet rooms, and a very attentive staff. The breakfast (not included but we were given coupons for 2 days) is exceptional and can keep you going until dinner time. The food choices are vast and the ambiance superb. As with any hotel in this class, it had free wi-fi and I found it must stronger than in other hotels. This hotel is very hip but really can accommodate any type of traveler. Its location is right next to the main city center, and is walking distance to nearly everything in Dijon. We never had the need for a car or tram except for our jaunts out of town to Beaune and some chateaus.

I've now stayed at Vertigo twice. I'd start with the staff, who are uniformly excellent. If you have a problem in your room, someone will show up immediately and deal with it. The rooms are a bit small (it's a central city hotel after all), but well laid out. The beds are comfortable and the internet works well. They serve an excellent breakfast, much better than what passes as petit déjeuner in far too many French hotels these days. The bar on the ground floor stays open late, with music, so if you want to sleep I'd suggest an upper floor. The heavy bass created vibration in the whole building one night [I was on the third floor, French numbering, so a long way up from the bar]. The rooms are air-conditioned: irrelevant this time, but a God-send when I was there in June 2016 during a heat wave. Prices seem to vary a lot: I got reasonable deals online both times, but others have paid much more than I did. The hotel is a short walk from the train station, and, in the opposite direction, from the main sightseeing of central Dijon.

Very welcoming staff in modern hotel in a great location in the center of town. Rooms are small. The hotel breakfast offered an assortment of continual options with a surcharge for hot items - I liked both the eggs and sausages. Bartender was helpful with local restaurant recommendations. (Thumbs up for Parapluie) The use of bikes, e-bikes, the hotel’s electric car were appreciated during our stay. This is just a lovely hotel. It has been beautifully and sympathetically restored to a very high standard. The style and quality of the bathroom fittings is very unusual for a French hotel and amazing considering the price. You can tell as soon as you arrive that someone has taken a huge amount of care in restoring these buildings. The car park for example is high quality concrete, not the usual gravel. The aircon in the bedroom is quiet and effective. There is a walk-in shower, not a handheld device over a bath. The reception is beautifully designed with lovely oak beams. The wine by the glass at the bar is lovely and good value. The staff were friendly. The bed was very comfortable, the wifi worked well etc etc. This is a classic illustration of the folly of French star ratings. This is way better than any "3-star" hotel I have ever stayed in. I have stayed in 5-star hotels that were notably inferior. The only downside is that there is no in-house restaurant so the only dinner option is a simple but good restaurant (Au Creux du Vougeot) next door.

My husband and I recently spent a night at this lovely hotel. We planned to stay for one night, and extended it to four nights. We didn’t want to leave. The room was lovely, high-quality amenities, shampoos, etc.. The bed was so comfortable, and it was very quiet - perfectly relaxing. The lobby is charming and has coffee and breakfast available every morning. There is also a bar for cocktails that is open for cocktail hour. The location couldn’t be better. We were able to walk to some of the best vineyards in Burgundy (in the world for that matter). There is not a restaurant in the hotel, but there are several wonderful restaurants nearby. Plenty of parking at the hotel And the staff was absolutely lovely and very accommodating. We cannot wait to return. Thank you Liza!

We stayed in a deluxe room on ground floor with direct access outside for our old dog. Room was exceptional, all new, and fitted out to a very high standard. Very comfortable bed, dog friendly. The staff booked our restaurant for dinner, just next door where we have a lovely wholesome dinner, also dog friendly. The grounds are beautifully planted, just a great place to stay in the wine country. Staff were very helpful and professional. Breakfast very good.

Amazing hotel, extremely clean, updated rooms, modern shower and comfortable bed. Welcoming staff, the receptionist printed us a list of restaurants in a less than 5km radius around the hotel. Conveniently located close to Vougeot Castle and wine domains. Charming, peaceful and relaxing environment. Breakfast was great! The best hotel we stayed at, during our trip in Burgundy!

Room had a jacuzzi, large size bed. Staff well trained and outgoing, and going beyond expectations. Hotel just minutes from main attractions. Didn’t have breakfast so unable to comment. Have a Michelin starred restaurant on ground floor.

The hotel is beautiful with friendly and helpful staff. We had a spacious room with a very comfortable bed. Great amenities such as a towel warming rack, delicious smelling soaps. The coffee bar and mini bar were well stocked. The in room safe was surprisingly small - too small for a laptop. This hotel also had a good selection of channels on the TV. I had let the hotel know that we would be arriving before check in and wished to leave our luggage with them, but they had our room ready for us on arrival so we were able to freshen up before our lunch reservation which was much appreciated. They also kindly held our luggage for several hours after check out. We did not dine in the restaurant at the hotel because it is very meat centered and we are vegetarian, but it always smelled delicious.

The hotel is modern, it is located in the city center which is very convenient. The staff are helpful & professional. There is an elevator; however, getting to our room after getting off on the 3rd floor, there is a stairway with 20 steps to get to the room. The room was spacious and comfortable, it has a living room area, desk station, coffee maker and small fridge. The bathroom is spacious; howerver, the bathtub is a bit high to get in and out and a bit dangerous since there it does not have any holding bars. I do recommend this hotel.

We were immediately greeted by the friendly and attentive staff. The lobby and our room were exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The location was easily walkable to the train, shopping, dining and attractions. The spa area is lovely - be sure to use the sauna and steam room - and I enjoyed a relaxing massage. We stayed here after a week in Paris, so we were quite pleased with the spacious room and value - the accommodation was much nicer for less money than that of Paris!

Rooms and bathrooms were quite spacious, with beautiful views from several directions. Very quiet. A lovely bar sits just off of the reception area, and the breakfast provided is a very refined experience. The staff was consistently exceptional and welcoming, and provided great concierge service.

A nice hotel in historic Dijon. The breakfast room and small in-hotel bar are perfect. The room itself was very nice - clean and very quiet. We didn't hear noise from the street or from other rooms. The bed was very confortable. Our breakfast was good with great pastries and breads, charcuterie, yougurt, great hard boiled eggs, lots of hot coffee and tea, and juices. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The best! It is in a nice location on a quiet astreet, a 10 min walk from the the train station. It is very close Les Halles and all of the restaurants around it. We will stay here again the next time we're in Dijon!

A wonderful hotel just a stone's throw from the center. A leisurely 5-minute walk to the market. The room is small but comfortable, clean and cozy. Good bed linen. The hotel has its own parking nearby for a reasonable price (something around 10 euros), but we were lucky to park in the city street parking right next to the entrance (it is free from 19:00 to 09:00, you can put 2-3 euros in the parking meter so as not to rush in the morning). There is also a separate parking space to unload suitcases upon arrival and get a ticket for the hotel parking). We asked for a quiet room and our windows overlooked the courtyard. But apparently rooms with windows overlooking the street are also quiet because there is minimal traffic on the street. The breakfast was delicious and quite varied. Staff on reseption was kind and effective both on check-in and check-out.

Stayed for 1 night. Staff were very friendly. Hotel was well decorated, clean, good location, only 10min walk to the main old town attractions and beautiful architecture and bars. Managed to park outside on the street. Room was basic but clean and comfortable. Would stay here again.

Room spacious and well laid out. Very clean would stay again. Staff were very helpful. Only la 12 minute walk from the train station. Under 5 minute walk to street full of restraints and bars.

The hotel is in a fantastic location next to the Ducal Palace / Museum of Fine Arts. Super comfortable beds and a warm cosy and spacious room, with a nice large shower in the bathroom. Fastidiously clean rooms, served daily, along with a comprehensive delicious buffet breakfast to start the day. Very helpful staff with great tips and helpful advice. Amazing value too. I highly recommend the hotel.

We stayed in a large apartment called Volnay. It was on the 4th floor. It had a separate bedroom, living room with dining room table and kitchen. We didn’t use the kitchen as we ate out for our meals. The kitchen had a full fridge and stove and I think microwave. It was a 15 min walk to the train station and right around the from the Opera House and Dukes Palace. Breakfast buffet was just ok. I wish we were there when the Food Hall was open on our first day of arrival as we would have taken advantage of all the fresh fruit the food hall has to offer. There was a huge Nepresso coffee maker but no coffee in the apartment. They did offer coffee in the lobby and breakfast room but we drink a lot of coffee so always appreciate a coffee maker in the room.

Great reception desk, friendly, helpful, bilingual. Attic room very comfortable, clean, modern though only skylight ( shame in this most picturesque of cities). Ongoing maintenance work meant some early morning disturbance, nothing major. Excellent breakfast. Excellent location very near centre of old city, many bars & restaurants nearby. On street parking outside - we were lucky to get a space - €4.50 for 2 hours 9am-7pm.

We have now decided that Hotel des Ducs will forever be our stopover point between the UK and Italy (we are British but live in Northern Italy and drive often). The location is perfectly central to see this beautiful little town. The less expensive rooms can be on the small side, but they are more than adequate and prices are absolutely fantastic. The bed and pillows are comfortable, and the showers have nice pressure. They have onsite parking or other secure parking within walking distance if it is full. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, of course the bread!! Nowhere in the world like French bread, and they didn’t disappoint! Staff was always friendly, courteous and helpful.

Central location, comfortable spacious room, superb beds. Very ckean with good bathroom products. Nice pool and jacuzzi. The staff is very friendly helpful staff that gave us very good tips on what to see and where to eat. Shout out to the frontdesk staff, thanks. I would definitely recommend it.

We are family with small kid and we love our stay in this hotel! The place is grate, peaceful, nice courtyard to spend cozy evenings. The owner of the hotel is very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable and welcomed. The view from the window is fabulous, rooms are clean and cozy, breakfast is tasty. We will definitely stay at this place again!

The atmosphere of the 13th-century village is awesome. The view from the room's window is breathtaking. The hotel and room are nice, warm, quiet and cosy. The beds are very comfortable. This is a lovely hotel, close to Dijon (ten minutes) in a quiet small village with good parking. Staff very welcoming and helpful. We had our dog with us and we were given a spacious ground floor room with access to the garden for our one night stay. Room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and well furnished. Gardens and the surrounding area are lovely with views of the valleys and Dijon. Breakfast choice and the quality of products excellent. We would definitely stay at the La Bonbonniere again.

The location is in the sweetest area, right on the edge of an old village neighborhood of Dijon, a large park right next to it, and a quick drive or Uber ride into Dijon pedestrian center. We loved the property, and enjoyed sitting outside on the patio at night with a glass of wine. The room was perfect, very comfortable and firm mattress. The breakfast was amazing! The staff was above and beyond wonderful, so kind and welcoming. There is a large (for Europe) parking area, very convenient if you are driving. We LOVED this hotel, and highly recommend it! Of course as a tourist you will go into Dijon center and see everything, but this hotel is a special property to return to in the evening for winding down in a gorgeous setting.
