The hotel had a friendly, positive vibe. Inviting lobby with comfortable furniture and game area. Modern and clean rooms with nice decor and clever use of space. Fresh fruit and oatmeal along with a variety of other options at the breakfast buffet.

What a charming and welcomed place. Right away you feel like you are in a modern Euro hotel. Everything is new and clean. No clutter - no broken lamps - clean floor plans - pet friendly for real not just to make an additional $$$! The room we had had cool hard material floor — perfect for a doggy room. Breakfast was good as well. All in all a perfect place to stay before visiting the stunning Lake Superior sights.

I now know why this place gets such a high rating. It was clean and open. We happened to have a wheelchair friendly room even though we did not need it. The thoughtful design and touches to make it handicapped accessible (also for blind and hard of hearing) was really impressive. The breakfast buffet was impressive as was the hard working people busting their behinds keeping up with all the hungry visitors. It was also dog friendly because of the lack of carpet. Reasonable pet rates. The mini market it the lobby (available 24/7) including wine and beer was so convenient. A great find when visiting the Duluth area and campus.

This hotel exceeded our expectations! Such a welcoming vibe, we got water and snack upon checkin, there is water fountain by elevator, coffee and snack pantry to buy. The reception was the peak!! Swings, pool tables and collection of games for friends and families to connect over. So colorful and many tables to just sit and enjoy! We carried out dinner and ate in the lobby area! Felt like a restaurant, plates, utensils, napkins, microwave all available there. The staff were attentive and helpful! So pleased!!

The room was clean and awesome. The beds comfy , the shower and all the soaps and lotion is wonderful!! Peaceful rest and exceptional breakfast with the all star employees & the pancake machine!!

Staff was VERY friendly and helpful! Room was clean and updated! The whole place was clean and comfortable. This is my 2nd time staying here when I travel for work. My husband came with this time for some R&R while I worked during the day. He thoroughly enjoyed himself as well. Oh the pool and jacuzzi were great also!

The room was spacious and we had so many pillows! It was great! Definitely plenty of room for our family of 6. There's a nearby mall and various places to eat. The hotel is tucked away and quiet. The pool was warm and the spa with amazing jets! The breakfast has many delightful options and we loved having different options for drinks. The high chair had the option for a tray, which was great for our baby. The breakfast area is separated from the dining area, which leads to less crowding. The staff on our stay was upbeat and just a pleasure to be around. We loved listening to them sing and have fun in the back. Everyone really seemed to like being there. Our room was clean and made up nicely. We even had a nice note from our housekeeper welcoming us to our room. If we are ever in the area again, this hotel will be our first choice.

Hotel was nicely decorated, the room was attractive. Everything was clean. I liked that the closet had a door on it. Beds were very comfortable, soft, lots of pillows. Big screen TV, nice size desk. Bathroom was bright with lots of counter space, shower had pump shampoo and conditioner on the wall. Room had a coffee maker. Ice was just down the hall, and there was a filtered water dispenser on first floor. Breakfast was very good: eggs, sausages, potatoes, excellent biscuits, gravy, toast,, waffles, pancakes, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, juice, etc. The tall gentleman managing the breakfast was very polite, helpful, and professional.

Have stayed here multiple times, friendly & helpful staff, consistently clean, safe, quiet, comfortable bed, love all the pillows, and great continental breakfast. Great location to restaurants & shopping.

Bed, linens, and pillow options were excellent. Decor is modern. Room was spacious (1 queen). Shower did not have a tub, but the water pressure and HOT water was *excellent* and needed during a Duluth lake-effect snowstorm. The breakfast included eggs, potatoes and sausage/bacon, so was adequate for a "first breakfast." Gym looked great, pool and hot tub looked inviting but were full of children during my visit. Very convenient to the airport and Caribou coffee is only 3-5 minutes away by car.

My husband and I decided to stay at this hotel because of the price. We needed an affordable option near Duluth for our Anniversary for 2 nights. Everything was amazing!!! The front desk staff (Mary) and all the others are genuinely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. Nothing broken. No paint chipping. The room appeared to be newly renovated and it's beautiful. Comfortable bed and awesome pillows and linens. Water temp and pressure were top notch. The hotel is easy to access. It's very quiet and relaxing. It's in a great location and close to Duluth and attractions. There is a Holiday gas station, a diner, and a bar and grill right next to the hotel. The diner and the bar both have great food. 10/10 highly recommend this hotel and will gladly stay again if we are ever in the area.

We loved the entire experience here. We just needed a bed for the night for a comedian we went to see in Duluth. I accidentally booked here thinking it was a different location, and couldn't have been happier. It was a little "happy accident". Check in was seamless, the staff was incredibly friendly & the room unbelievably clean & comfortable. We were originally booked on the 2nd floor and I politely asked about being moved to the first due to needing my knees replaced and stairs are so hard. The sweet lady was able to make it happen to my excitement! Breakfast was a basic no frills breakfast. The area was very clean & well stocked and easy to find what you needed. We have a new favorite place when we go to duluth now. The rates are amazing, the hotel superb, the staff phenomenal & Gronks bar in the parking lot the yummiest place to eat. We haven't had a stay like this in the 15 years we've been married and we used to travel frequently. I'd give 10 stars here if I could. We truly did feel welcomed from start to end.

I thought the room was clean, modern and spacious. The bed was comfortable. Hand-pumped soap, shampoos, and lotions were provided by both the sink and bathtub for easy convenience. Keurig coffee maker was provided in the room, and you could get pods down stair in the lobby. Continental breakfast was provided every morning. Pretty basic, but acceptable. For a moderately priced motel, given its location, friendly staff I would stay there again.

Comfortable clean bed. Quiet after hours. Only problem was the shower curtain wouldn't stay put, and some water went on the floor because it had slid down the rod far enough to let shower water escape. No Keurig coffee in room, but the coffee in the reception area was available before 5 and was delicious.

The room was clean and the beds & pillows were also clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The free breakfast is very good- cereal & milk, toast, coffee, tea, juice,half boiled eggs, microwaved burritos, banana, fruits.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, made even better by the exceptional service and thoughtful touches throughout. From the moment we arrived, the manager went above and beyond to help us find a place to park our boat—no small feat in a downtown location. That kind of service really set the tone for the rest of our visit. To our surprise and delight, we were upgraded to what seemed to be the best room in the hotel. The view of Lake Superior from our window was absolutely stunning—waking up to it each morning was a real treat. The on-site restaurant located on the lower level was another highlight. With its outdoor seating, it was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal or drink. We also loved exploring the hidden bars tucked away like secret caves—such a unique and cozy atmosphere. Breakfast was simple but appreciated, with complimentary coffee, bananas, oranges, apples, and cereal bars available in the morning—just enough to get you going for the day. All in all, this hotel delivered a unique experience with great hospitality, a perfect location, and memorable views. We’ll definitely be back.

The room was clean although not very large. One item I noted is that the bathroom did not have a vent. It did have a heating light though. The lakeside window isn't as large as I had hoped. For the price of the room, I wouldn't reserve it again for this window view. I'd pay for the street side instead. The Inn does offer a free shuttle which we didn't use. It's a nice option. We did walk around in the lower levels to restaurants and shops. This must be super helpful in the wintertime when it's colder. The staff was ok. The clerk that checked us in talked too fast, and I struggled to keep up with what he was saying. Check out was better with a different clerk. It would have been nice to see a smile on his face. The Inn did offer coffee, fruit and breakfast bars/oatmeal bars for a quick breakfast. The restaurant in the lower level is amazing and has a flavorful options.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is in a perfect location—an easy walk to shops, restaurants, and the lakewalk. My room was clean, quiet, and nicely designed, with a beautiful view of Lake Superior. The shower was especially nice—spacious with great water pressure. One small downside was that I couldn’t seem to regulate the room temperature, even though the thermostat made it seem like I could. Also, while the mattress wasn’t quite the right fit for me personally, others might find it perfectly comfortable. Overall, a lovely place to stay with stunning views and unbeatable walkability.

Lovely historical hotel with all the modern amenities. It was such a nice break from all those soulless modern cookie cutter hotels with no character. We received a warm welcome from Dustin. The room was beautiful overlooking Lake Superior. The bathroom had a hand held shower, which is always appreciated, as my wife has long hair, and she absolutely hates the fixed rain showers. Wonderful stay. Chris, the valet was wonderful and very helpful. We would visit again. Duluth is beautiful, with friendly people.

Great, clean place to stay. I loved that both the brewery and the boat club are in the hotel. I enjoyed both and not having to travel out to go to restaurants. I’m gluten free and they have safe options. The boathouse has a dedicated gluten free toaster. I was excited to have toast at breakfast. Staff is friendly. I enjoyed the valet parking.

Our short stay here was part of a Viking cruise post extension of the Great Lakes cruise. As one would expect from a Viking reservation, the room was quite nice. However, it was not truly comfortable. The decor was an icy cold gray, okay in summer but probably not nice in the winter. The bed was too high for me to climb into. Similarly, the room safe was in reach only for seven footers. There was no actual closet, just a small cabinet. I found it rather difficult to get out of the bathtub. The one dinner we had in the restaurant was truly excellent. Unfortunately we discovered lunch was not being served currently. An included breakfast was restricted to the American breakfast, which is not the sort of breakfast we usually eat. Probably the restaurant would have negotiated something else but one does not feel like negotiating at that time.

The Sheraton in Downtown Duluth was exceptional. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. They provided great assistance for my birthday trip - even giving us a room with an incredible view of Lake Superior. The hotel itself was clean, was within walking distance of SO much, and was comfortable for our weekend away.

Friendly check-in treated to upgrade. The executive lounge has a nice breakfast. Pool clean and open early. The room was clean and quiet and had a beautiful view of the lake. They don't have an airport shuttle and charge to park at a nearby garage.

All I can say is w.o.w. The accommodations. The service. The location. Fabulous! On top of all this, I was staying there because my mom was deathly ill and this hotel is connected to the hospital via skywalks (closed on weekends…). I got a more-than-fabulous medical discount. The room itself seems newly remodeled: very modern and clean. Everything about it was comfort, sanitary, and fresh. It was such a sanctuary after being at the hospital all day. There is a restaurant in the lobby and I did not eat there. But it’s good to know it is available for those who may want to do so. Parking was pretty convenient, too.

Lovely room, cozy bed with good sheets. The 2nd floor does not sound fancy, but there was an interesting view of Superior street, that was nice. Awesome cocktails at the bar. Dogs allowed for $75, (kinda steep for 1 nite). Grassy spots for doggie were over a block away. The parking was confusing with poor signage, but good it exists since the area is very busy. Other bars and food in close walking distance. Huge hospital 1 block away. Bartender was awesome.

Outdated but we enjoyed our stay! Staff was friendly attentive and quick. Clean, breakfast was ok but it’s your typical hotel breakfast, we ate and were fine with it. Pool was fun and hot tub was perfect temp. Can I add that I have never seen a sauna at a hotel before and they had one. How stinking cool!!!

Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast. It was confusing because the signs said breakfast was served until 10, but they were closing up breakfast at 9. No one seemed to know end of breakfast time. Otherwise, the pool was fun for the kids. Great stay for a couple of nights.

We have stayed here many times. Our room has aways been clean. The beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast is decent. Rooms are reasonably priced.The pool area is nice but they are often out of pool towels so you have to go ask for them. I am very disappointed that since it was bought out by The Quality Inn they no longer offer fully refundable rooms, which was a big plus for why we would stay here. Now you have to pay an extra fee to get a refundable room.

We were so pleased with our suite with a view of the water! My husband couldn’t get over how much room we had (compared to a room we had stayed in the previous few nights in Minneapolis. We weren’t sure how a couple of things worked, and each of the people we contacted at the front desk were more than happy to help us. Loved having a Jacuzzi!

Breakfast was very well stocked with a great variety of foods and beverages, all fresh and very clean facilities. Room was clean and linens and beds were super comfy! Staff were very polite and helpful.

Room was very clean and hotel appears to be quite new. Shower was immaculately cleaned each day. Breakfast offering was excellent with eggs (omelettes or scrambled), bacon, sausage, or turkey sausage, biscuits and gravy, fresh made pancakes, many varieties of other baked items - just a full offering of many choices for everyone. Pool and hot tub were all to myself all three days of my stay. Front desk staff was courteous and helpful. Located one block from Hwy 52 in Superior, just 7 minutes from the DECC at Canal Park. Accomodations are just as nice as the expensive Canal Park hotels for significantly less cost.

This property was very clean, quiet, easily accessible. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room, bed, etc were comfortable. I’d definitely stay here again.

I was here for Grandma’s Race weekend. I ran the half. I enjoyed our stay except for how loud the people in the pool area were. Our room was right across from the jacuzzi. If I come back next year for the marathon, I will try and stay here again, but I will definitely ask for a room not in the pool area.

The hotel staff were very helpful and answered all our questions. Their restaurant suggestions were very helpful. The hotel was conveniently located for things we wanted to do. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The pillows were not the most comfortable we have had in our trip. The pool, hot tub and breakfast were a great bonus. The jets on the hot tub were a bit excessive. We enjoyed our stay.

Bathroom area, toilet in relation to the shower was tight. Besides that, the place was really clean. Smelled clean too. And not a sprayed febreze to cover smells clean. This is a clean and comfortable room.

The breakfast was awesome! The variety of choices was well thought through. The waffle makers were the top go to for breakfast and it was nice to see two of them. My grandson ages nine and six loved the mini waffles and all the fixings! The hot entrées were good and plenty. The coffee was good and there was an awesome coffee cake when we were there on Thursday morning. Yogurt was another top choice of ours. The most important items for those two little boys was breakfast and the pool!

We had a wonderful romantic getaway at South Pier Inn. We especially loved the breathtaking view of the water, the cozy and private location, the relaxing jacuzzi tub, and the warm fireplace in the room. Everything made our stay so special and memorable.

Very quiet and clean. Loved having the fireplace and jacuzzi in the room. It was restful and peaceful sitting on our balcony or on the shore in the provided seating taking in the view.

Fabulous romantic stay. Clean and spacious room and bed. Very nice hotel bar and restaurant with great views of the river. Pool smelled very strongly of chlorine so we didn't go in, but we went in the hot tub several times. It was big enough for several groups and provided a fabulous view with plexiglass to shield us from the wind. Hotel shuttle took us to and from restaurants and shopping. Spacious and well lit parking lot. Small shop for snacks to take back up to the room.

We went for the New Year's Eve celebration package (room and party). It was a really great deal to start with. The rooms are spacious, neat and well designed for leisure. The harbor view was fabulous. Housekeeping was quick to respond (I always need an extra pillow) and very friendly. In fact, the entire staff was one of the most polite and helpful group of people I've ever dealt with at a hotel. The party was great. Their "light" appetizers were a lot more than I expected - pot stickers, roasted chicken pieces, chips with dip, veggies (including baby asparagus), cheese cubes, brie with fruit, and JUMBO shrimp cocktail. The staff was fabulous, as well. The doorman made arrangements to put my walker in a storage closet so it wouldn't be in the way in the packed ballroom. Discarded appetizer plates and empty glasses, etc. were picked up regularly so the table was always clean. It was an overall wonderful experience, including the restaurant, Silo's, which I will review separately. I highly, highly recommend this place.

We enjoyed our stay at this well-kept hotel. The restaurant staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hot tub was a nice way to unwind. Our room was clean for the most part, though we did find some garbage and a hand towel wedged behind the TV stand—something we only discovered because we had to unplug and replug the TV due to inconsistent Chromecasting. One downside was the outdoor music, which started playing as early as 6:00 AM and could be heard from our room. This was a bit disruptive and felt unnecessary at that hour. It may have been due to our room’s location, but it was still an annoyance. That said, the location was fantastic, with beautiful views of the bridge and convenient access to the restaurant. Despite the small issues, we had a good experience overall.

My husband and I travel a lot and are picky about hotels. Last night, we had a top-notch experience at Pier B in Duluth’s Canal Park area. I like to keep it simple, so here’s my list of “likes” -friendly staff at check-in -great view:Harbor View king room -beautiful bathroom with large stand-up shower and top-of-the-line products -we adjusted room temperature and it kept exactly that temp. During our stay, we heard no loud fan noise -comfortable bed and elegant sheets -charging stations for devices on both sides of bed -classy furnishings and pull-out couch We didn’t try Silos restaurant on site- but it looked nice and had great views. We will definitely return.

We stayed at the Hampton for one night before an early flight. Check in was easy, the pool was nice and the room was clean and comfortable. We also tried out the hottub which were very nice and large. The only minor inconvenience was a kids birthday that was going on while we were there. The kids were holding open the doors on the elevator and running the halls. Overall, we would recommend this hotel to others.

We stayed one night for a class reunion and we had an amazing experience! The room was clean, bed was comfortable, delicious complimentary breakfast, amazing view of Lake Superior from our room, and the vest part is that the windows in the room open so that you can hear the waves. The staff are friendly. This is our first time staying at this hotel. The location is great located on the lake walk. My husband is a travel agent (Travel 2 The Core) and he will be recommending this and booking for clients.

We arrived before checkin and were able to park the car and head out exploring. The property is right on the lake with a beautiful lounge/breakfast area overlooking the lake. Bottled water and coffee/tea were available all day. Loads of restaurants to walk to. Breakfast was good - the usual hotel breakfast. Room had a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer and bath amenities. Property was clean and staff was efficient and friendly.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The room was a little smaller but that may be because they gave us 2 queen size beds. The people working at the reception desk were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a good selection including fresh fruit. The man working the breakfast area was very hard working and kept everything well stocked.

We came to Duluth the night before my dad’s heart procedure at St. Mary’s Hospital. The hardest part was finding out you enter the parking ramp to arrive at the front desk!! My brother had made the hotel reservation. 4 adults for 2 nights during the week. (Reasonable price on the room too!!) Very nice and helpful front desk staff! Parking was a breeze because it was a Monday and Tuesday! Our room was on the 12th floor, end of the hallway, view of the city, downtown looking UP the hill!! Very interesting!! Clean rooms! Quiet! Nice beds! Two types of pillows: soft and firm labeled on the pillow cases!! Great shower with hot water and pressure! We were given a medical discount too!! Little fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker in the room also!! We ate in their restaurant Lyrac both nights!! Delicious food! Great $$ and options! Nice service too!! It was convenient we didn’t need to put coats on, drive anywhere or worry about parking!! I will stay here again!! Thanks!!

Don who drives the shuttle bus makes this trip for us every year. I believe this is my 5th summer in a row and we are always so excited to see him, he is just SO fun and incredibly helpful and accommodating. The front desk staff is great, the views are awesome, room is always clean, good food, etc. We do wish that the pools opened earlier and stayed open later, but its understandable. The pools and hot tub are clean and well stocked with towels. But back to Don (I really hope someone passes this on to him). Not only does he make our day during the rides to Canal Park and back - I see him busy in the lobby cleaning up around the coffee area and he is always so friendly anytime we cross paths. This was our 2nd time staying at this establishment in 2 years. It's easy to find, ample parking, spacious interior, good fitness centre, and some pools as well. I am always welcomed as an IHG platinum member and given complimentary upgrades without having to say anything. The rooms away from the pool were quiet, comfortable and relaxing. I do believe the hotel should upgrade the air conditioning units, as they didn't work well, were too loud, and just outdated. Other than that, we didn't have any issues. We were given a good view of the Harbour and were able to have a comfortable sleep. Would definitely stay here again on our next road trip through the US.

I had a room that had a patio deck in back with a grill and fireplace, and a jacuzzi in the room.

I booked this stay based on the reviews, so I wanted to leave one also. My husband and I drove up to Duluth for the night so that we would be closer to the camp our son and the rest of the church youth were at. We needed to pick them up early in the morning, and a close stay made for a much better day than driving up 4 hours in the morning! This was exactly the moderate budget room we needed, but so much more! The motel staff was incredibly helpful and kind, and the property is immaculately maintained. We took the last room, which was the king jacuzzi suite. Not sad about that. The room had a little deck off the back with access to the beautiful backyard space the owners have created. There are two barbeque stations and a fire pit that has comfy seating around it-fire wood provided for free! The room was sparkling clean, and the effort to keep up the older property shows. My husband was not a fan of the very soft bed, and because of that slept poorly. It's the only negative we experienced. We even made use of the free Lake Superior Zoo passes. I would definitely come back to spend another night or two to explore Duluth in a new way of the bikes they provide and reading on the back deck. I absolutely recommend this quaint motel to any travel that enjoys a slow quiet stay, knowledgeable and kind owners, and a touch of nostalgia.

Stayed two nights exploring the Duluth area. Room was extremely spacious and clean. Courtyard area was beautiful and relaxing. Jeff was very friendly and helpful! Location is very convenient to local attractions while still being away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy areas. Would definitely stay again. Just for informational purposes, currently there is no breakfast. Free Zoo passes were offered and bikes are available for loan/rent depending on the type.

This property really lived up to its website and reviews. Yes, it is an older motel but Jeff has done a great job of refreshing everything. We LOVED the sparkling clean full size frig, the clean grills with all tools and the fire pits. The charcoal is free as is the firewood. If you are exploring the Duluth area, stay here. Clean, clean, clean and quiet!Also, the Tappa Keg was great! Food so so but prices cheaper than fast food and the staff are wonderful. Easy walk from the motel and $3 Coors Light drafts!

I wish you could get a welcome like this at all hotels! Such friendly, helpful people—made us feel right at home in an instant. It’s a classic, cute motel that’s updated nicely; very clean and comfortable. Our room was very spacious and we loved that it had a back door out to a green space. And of course, as Dog People, we appreciated their welcoming of our pups.

This hotel has a perfect location on the Canal Park. Rooms are very specious. We stayed in a newly renovated room. It was very clean, felt very fresh. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast to start your day. Our room had 2 bedrooms/ 2 bathrooms. Unfortunately, neither bathroom had a hairdryer. Only one bathroom was stocked up with toiletries. Beautiful property, but walls and windows are not soundproof. We had a family with small kids in the room next to us, and we heard everything what was going on in their room. Hotel is located on the street with multiple bars and restaurants; the night life is pretty busy and it's loud. I had a hard time to fall asleep. When I finally did, I was woken up at 2:45 AM because someone was yelling. The point is: this is not the place where you can get a good night sleep. If this is important to you, you might consider a different accommodation.

We liked the historic charm of the building. We had a king suite that had a window overlooking the drydocked Irwin. There was a full kitchenette, which was nice, a loveseat, and a seperate bedroom. The air conditioning worked well, the bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. Coffee was available all day. Breakfast was standard fare. The elevators worked well, which is good for a historic site, and required a key to use for security, which we appreciated. The location was great, with Old Chicago Pizza, Red Lobster, and Adventure Zone within a few steps. The lift bridge is at the end of the block and Canal Park is a few blocks away. There aren't views of the lake, but we were able to book one night over July 4, which wasn't available at several of the other Canal Park hotels. We walked to the July 4 concerts and fireworks.

The hotel was quiet and clean. It is a bit dated and could use a refresh. But the bed was comfortable and the suite was huge. We also liked that it was walkable to shopping and dining. Would have been nice to have a view of the lake but the price was better because we didn't. The receptionist at the front desk was supper friendly and inviting! We enjoyed out stay and would stay again.

Great location for visiting Canal Park. Delicious breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable and cozy rooms. Plenty of space for a family of four and their stuff.

we had a king room it was large clean and located right by a gas staion nice pool. a exceptional desk clerk Steward he helped direct us to a great restauran and showed he was commited to helping us have a exceptional expierence there. greatly appreciated the guest laundry breakfast had quite a bit of variety even choclate milk i would stay there again for sure.

This hotel is perfect for people like myself who believes Pets should be left at home. We didn't see any pets and best of all didn't hear any. The pool and Hot tub were perfect and we will stay here again. The breakfast was hot and enjoyable.

Beds are super comfy, sweet, and helpful staff. I had to be at my clinicals early, so I had to leave each am at 5 am. They still had fruit or bagels out for breakfast, so I still was able to get breakfast.

We were very tired, a nice girl met us at the reception, quickly registered us and we went to the room. The children managed to swim in the pool, but the water was cold and the jacuzzi had very strong chlorine that burned our eyes very much. The breakfasts are delicious and balanced.

Park Point has it all! From a brilliant location in the heart of Duluth’s port area to incredible amenities and fantastic staff, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better stay. From the moment we checked in to our departure, the staff made us feel very welcome and we were very pleased with our room and the view. The warm towels and s’more’s really spoiled us, along with the sauna and jacuzzi - a truly relaxing experience!

A real attention to cleanliness and detail. Staff attentive, called our room 1 hour after arriving for a quality check ! ( texted as well ) Who does that !? Rooms and bathrooms large and spacious. Beds very comfortable. Microwave and bar fridge in room. Linens very clean. Pool sauna and hot tub clean well maintained. Breakfast was more than adequate . Scrambled Eggs, sausage, waffles ( with toppings ) ,toast muffins and yougurt . Coffee tea ,orange juice, and lemon water available 24x7. Had a SMORES making station in the evening!! ( seasonal according to staff, spring onwards to fall ) Hot lemongrass infused towels to refresh oneself!! Staff kept this breakfast and seating area spotless. A small bar and food options available after breakfast. An outdoor seating area with a childrens play set was on the marina side and was nice to have. The long beautiful beach of park point was a 2 minute walk away. Very nice beach miles long. A walk to canal park bars and restaurants 10 minutes ( we walked) .Hotels here priced MUCH higher. There wasn't much I didn't like about the place. The room was very clean and decent sized. We got a balcony, lakeside room and it was nice they had chairs and a table on the balcony and the view was just great. The beds were super comfortable and clean. One thing I noticed was it was really quiet in the room. I could hear when people were in the hallways but didn't hear anything in the rooms, beside or above us. It was a super comfortable room, the air/heat wasn't too loud and stayed a perfecr temperature even with us opening and closing the door to the balcony. I didn't even need to adjust it at all throughout our stay. Downstairs they had coffee, hot chocolate and hot apple cider available 24/7. The breakfast was great too! Bacon, sausage, eggs pancakes and all the other great breakfast foods. We stayed a Sunday-Monday so I was surprised they had such a big breakfast for the weekday.

The hotel check in was very smooth . It was a sold out weekend. The rooms are beautiful well maintained.they coffee in the lobby which was excellent our group loves coffee. The view is beautiful we were on the second floor with a beautiful view of the bay. There is a great walking distance around the bay. We had a nice view of the bridge. We utilized the pool and hot tub very adequate for families. The breakfast bar was well maintained and very good. The eggs bacon and sausage were handled by the staff which they handled very well. The staff and food was excellent.had a pancake maker which our group enjoyed. I can’t say enough about the cleanliness of the food area. It is a truly a wonderful place to stay.

We had a two day stay and had a great visit. The staff were all exceedingly friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and well maintained. We used the pool area and lounge chairs in the lobby and all were comfy and family friendly. The breakfast is a very average hot breakfast and at peak season is clear there would be a line and very crowded to get through. Grateful for the almond milk in the cooler. Would definitely stay again.

Had a lot of assortment too We had s'mores by the fire, but not advertised. Only reason I knew was because I heard another guest asking for them Had coffee & hot chocolate down in lobby. Both very good I guess s'mores not being more displayed to me was only down fall. Otherwise all good Hotels are expensive in canal park. It's a touristy area, so you just have to expect that. We always stay at this hotel when visiting Duluth. We booked two rooms on Oct 4th for the 18-19 visit which was during MEA. Lucky to get these lake front rooms, although we paid premium rates. I booked a king for ourselves and a double queen w/a pullout couch for our son and his three kiddos. Our suite was fabulous - two sided fireplace, jacuzzi, balcony. Son's was very nice, too. They enjoyed the pool and spa. It was their first time staying on the Canal and I wanted them to experience the lake effect and seeing ship traffic. Unfortunately, a Coast Guard boat was the only traffic in the early am.

We stayed here for three nights prior to boarding our cruise ship. The location was great because this hotel is only a five-minute drive from the Canal Park restaurants and shops, and it’s likewise just a few minutes drive from a shopping center and restaurants. Our room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was excellent , with plenty of hot water. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast every morning. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Staying here will save you lots of money compared with the hotels located right on the lakefront. Our stay here exceeded our expectations in every way. If we return to Duluth, we will definitely stay again at Comfort Inn West.

This is my second time at this hotel. Last time was 3 years ago. I was so happy to see it is just wonderful now as it was then. This hotel is consistent, clean, well maintained and has everything you need for a cost friendly stay just 3 miles from Canal Park. I want to especially applaud the housekeeping and maintenance teams there. Although it’s an older hotel it has been maintained in immaculate condition. Great included breakfast too! Front desk staff friendly and helpful.

We checked on Friday March 14, 2025. The gal at the front desk was really friendly and answered all our questions. The lobby was clean and comfortable. The bar was open and we were given $1 off coupons. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast offered many options and was well stocked the entire time. The hotel was conveniently located to the hockey arenas. Would recommend this hotel!

I had trouble with the tub filling with water taking my shower but I may have not flipped the tub/shower switch correctly. Average hotel breakfast. Powdered eggs. Undercooked potatoes. Sausage and waffles good. There were cereal choices yogurt and fruit. Good coffee.

I have stayed here a few times, both the hillside and canal views are amazing. One evening I came in late at night, and opened my curtains to a ship coming through the port. Absolutely stunning! Another time I had a cozy view of Bentleyville, I guess what I'm saying is the views are amazing, the breakfast has something for everyone, and the staff are kind and helpful. This hotel will definitely keep us coming back!

I love how nice, clean and cozy the whole place is! The breakfast is wonderful with so many delicious and fresh options! The harbor view is absolutely amazing! The bathroom is nice and clean!

I booked this hotel thinking it was in Canal Park due to the “waterfront” designation. While I was initially concerned about this, I am so happy we stayed here. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by Rachael. She was so friendly and accomodating. We arrived at 1:15p on a Saturday and I asked if she would check to see if one of our two rooms happened to be available and both were. Without asking she managed to get them together and upgraded our room due to our Marriott status. The hotel was so clean. The room was spacious with comfortable beds and pillows. The breakfast was decent and the staff member worked hard to replace items as they were used. The hotel is so quiet. We sat downstairs in the lobby area where there is so much space and there are tables for congregating. As other reviewers have mentioned, this hotel is across the lift bridge. It was a short Uber ride to Canal Park and everything it has to offer. While it was really warm for a February day in Duluth, we decided against walking to Canal Park although you certainly could. It would be a 10-15 minute walk. We will definitely return to this property. Thanks for a great last minute stay!

Ellen and her staff; Brenna, Gina, Rachel, Brandon(the overnite clerk who does a great job of setting up Breakfast each morning) and Shanna do an amazing job; welcoming, helpful and efficient. The location is idea with close access to both the beach and Canal Park. Re-locating from across the country I spent a month at the hotel and while the move was not stress free it helped that each evening when I returned to the hotel I was comfortable and settled. Diana, Danielle and their colleagues in housekeeping did a great job too!!

Amazing location near the beach, marina and Canal Park. Very nice, modern new hotel. Easy parking. Quick Check in. Small gift shop on site. Rooms were large and very comfortable. bed slept very well. Bathroom was spacious, and has a real shower.

This was our base of operations for visiting the north shore. This hotel was impeccably clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast area was spotless and all foods, especially the coffee, were kept full. We used the hot tub every day, which was great for sore joints and muscles. The pool area was also spotless. The hotel is close to a bunch of restaurants, including one of our favorites in the Duluth area, Texas Roadhouse - adjacent and only a 2 minute walk.

We stayed here on 6/4-6/6/22 in room 424. We found the hotel to be very good. It was easy to find, looked good in and out and had plenty of restaurants close by (the Texas Road house is a 3 min walk). The check in and out staff were good and the breakfast was better than your typical Hampton. Room 424 was good sized, faced the front parking lot and was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large and had lots of counter space. A bonus was that the shower controls were opposite the shower so you did not get soaked turning the shower on. The internet was fine, good for email and web surfing. Housekeeping is upon request and we did not use it. The one negative was that the TV did not have an on line guide so the only way to see what was on was to view each channel. It was a pain. I'd suggest to management that they ask the TV provider to provide an on line guide. Overall, we had a good stay and would stay here again.

Clean well kept property with easy parking and access. The staff was nice. Breakfast was tasty. Coffee 24 hours in lobby and it was delicious with 4 different choices. Large TV and very nice bathroom and shower. Huge shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion pumps. Everything was easy access and a very nice indoor pool and spa area. I like that the pool was open till 11. Our room was quiet at night and we were close to the elevator.

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Very convenient location, city center, parks, restaurants and convenient stores are within 5-10 min drive. My expectations met 100%.

The breakfast was standard but had a lot of offerings for all dietary needs and was well run. I work in the service industry and the addition of the birding map on the wall and the helpful sheets on local eateries via walking or Doordash plus the assistance on local hotspots was such a nice touch. Would recommend to everyone!

This motel is in a great location and convenient to shopping and restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good - many options (I just didn't like the texas toast - I prefer regular sliced bread). Breakfast closes at 9am on weekdays so for a leisure traveler, I thought that was early. Overall, stay was great and I would stay there again and recommend to friends and family.

I have yet to see garbage left out…anywhere. The pool and hot tub area were very clean and smelled nice. The water was clear and both tubs refreshing. You could actually see thru the pool windows. I really liked the desk higher and next to the single queen room I had. The rope light was super bright. The fridge and microwave actually worked! A safe was available. Bathroom was fresh, clean. I unintentionally booked a handicapped room. They served warm cookies and breakfast. I really have to be nitpicky for cons…. In the HC Queen room the hanging rack could have been pushed more to the right to allow a long garment (dress/formal attire) to hang.

The breakfast was delicious and the pool facilities were outstanding. Room was large, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating, they even brought up a pack n play as we had our daughter with us. Over all a great experience and I will be returning in the future.

Great breakfast assortment. Typical Continental breakfast plus eggs, potato, sausage, biscuit and gravy, pancakes. Hot tub and pool were very nice. Beds very comfortable. Front desk workers very friendly. They put out fresh cookies every night at 8.

This hotel was always one of my favorites, I had a corporate rate, the gal that worked at the front desk was super friendly and helpful, many times she gave me an upgrade room, always recognized the Diamond status and had the Wyndham greeting bag, but things change, she was gone and a grumpy gal who didn't know me or have an interest takes over, no gift, no acknowledgement, funny how the little things make you feel special, then the hotel was sold, she was gone, but still no special attention to the guest and you have to ask for the Wyndham gift. Maybe it's petty, I find myself after a long hard day of work loving a warm greeting from a familiar face. So the hotel is still very nice, I love that it's attached to the Blackwoods which is a great place to eat, the rooms are very nice, the breakfast could be better, I stay at a lot of hotels I this tier level and the offerings here are below standard, the gal who works there for breakfast is super nice, but she's limited by the very small kitchen and the equipment, plus it's up to the hotel to improve the offerings, I've suggested based on others what would be nice for the guests. I stayed in the jacuzzi suite last time, I'm not sure what they used to clean it between guests, but it smelled and felt like I was boiling in cleaning product, not great

Everything was so clean. Super friendly staff. The pool and hot tub were clean and very well maintained. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. They had an excellent breakfast.

We got a king suite so it's a bigger 2 room, room. It was clean, comfortable & had everything we needed in it. It had a nice kitchenette as well. It was spacious and perfect for a larger family. I love the hardwood floors throughout, it helps with allergens that can be found in carpet, especially with a hotel that is pet friendly. There were a lot of kids at the hotel and it was a quiet room, I didn't hear outside noise unless I was right at the door. Love that there is a restaurant attached to the hotel, this is a huge perk and in walking distance from a few gas stations.

First off, the staff at check in was a super nice lady and very helpful. The staff at the breakfast area was also very friendly and kind. The hotel and our room were very clean and comfortable. We loved the location as well. Nice hot breakfast with great variety of foods. Scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, muffins, toast, bagels, fruit, cereal and hot oatmeal, yogurt and variety of juices and milks. Coffee 24/7 with variety creamers is a nice touch! We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others! Blackwoods Food right next door with free delivery to your room was great also!

We travel with our two dogs frequently. Staying in pet friendly lodging of any type is always “iiffy”. You would not have known this was a pet friendly room - no smells, no excessive air freshener to cover up smells, everything was clean and fresh. Blackwoods Grill is attached, through a long hall, and they will deliver to your room. It’s less than a mile off the freeway, very convenient and quiet.

The clerk working the desk could not have been more helpful and pleasant after working a 16 hour shift. She was a joy to talk to after traveling. The jacuzzi was wonderful. Nice and hot and very clean.

The cleanliness of the room and facility was great. It was perfect for our last night of our road trip. The jacuzzi (nice and hot) and sauna were wonderful to end the day with. Breakfast was good with several options or proteins and carbohydrates. Staff is friendly and the location is accessible from major roads.

The price point was the lowest possible in the Duluth and Superior area so I wasn't expecting much. I never cared for super 8 I like more luxury... I was happily surprised that the property was clean, updated and the staff was exceptional. The bed...I didnt notice so it must have been on the soft side (I dont like firm) but the pillows were perfect and they had 8 in the room of different varieties. 24/7 coffee, tea and hot chocolate (the good stuff) not sparing flavored creamer, honey etc. Breakfast was also better than I expected; waffles, egg croissant sandwiches, giant muffins, cereal, oatmeal, toast, fresh fruit and yogurt. My family of 5 would have a hard time finding a restaurant that would serve us breakfast at a price less than the daily rate of the hotel room so it practically paid for itself. No pool but they have a hot tub and a real wet stone sauna. The spa is private use only, one family at a time. It was open each time we wanted to use it. The location is great; you can see it off I 35 and it is right by Bentlyville, GL aquarium, canal park and just generally central and easy to find. I did not need GPS to get back to our hotel. I think this place is a gem and will try them again when we are in the area 🙂

I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a comfortable clean room. My bed was really cozy, though the comforter was lightweight. The AC worked really well too. The staff was helpful. One night after hiking all day I didn't get back until 10pm. There wasn't a single parking space open so I let the staff person at the front desk know and she moved her car so I could have a spot. The coffee was delicious and the sauna is the best I've experienced. I would stay here again. This is a budget hotel and you feel that. It is clean though and since I was only there to sleep it was more than what I needed.

This is a beautiful property. The hospitality you will receive from staff the moment you walk in to until the moment you checkout is amazing. We loved the complimentary treats and smores at night around the fire pit. Being able to rent bikes for a trip to canal park was convenient and fun! The room was fantastic, clean and felt like home with the fireplace, kitchen and jacuzzi tub. It was one of the best stays I've had in years and I travel a lot. Thank you Beacon Pointe!

Tristan the front desk supervisor was extremely helpful and pleasant (two thumbs up to this employee). The property is beautiful and located in a beautiful area. The only complaints would be the pool was extremely high in chlorine and our jacuzzi tub in the room had some residue stains maybe from the previous guest. Overall the stay was wonderful, the location is amazing and our view of Lake Superior was breath taking. We will for sure be back!

We have stayed at various places in the area over the years. This was our first time at Beacon Pointe and overall we were very pleased with our stay there. We booked the penthouse room because it was a good value, only moderately higher rate than regular rooms. The one problem that we encountered is that you had to climb stairs to get to the room. This was an issue because both my wife and I have some mobility issues that made this difficult. This was not in the description of this room and may have changed our decision to book it. The room was wonderful and the bed was very comfortable. It was mostly clean, (found half empty cocktails on the bench in the jacuzzi room, & the room coffee pot was full of old coffee). We were also surprised that there was a "grab & go" breakfast area in the lobby. There was no mention of this on the website we used to book our stay. The underground parking was a bonus with the elevator there to move in & out of our room. We are definitely planning to return and stay there again but we will probably be looking to book a more accessible room.....

The staff is welcoming and friendly. The hotel is close to a ton of dinning and shopping options. The rooms were clean and comfortable. They served a delicious breakfast.

We stayed here for our anniversary as it was dog friendly and a good jumping off point to access the North Shore. The location was a little bit misleading as I thought we were in Duluth, but it is actually Hermantown (my own fault for not doing more research). The hotel staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating when we checked-in. The entire stay was quiet and clean. Breakfast each morning was great and the hot tub was nice after a long day of hiking. The parking lot has a lot of spots so you always feel close to the main door, which we liked. Conveniently located near lots of food and shopping too. A great stay and we would not hesitate to recommend!

The location was amazing, Costco, Sam's, target all supermarkets less than 5 minutes is perfect when traveling with family, the pool is fun for the kids and open till late. The only thing I wish was different is the hours for breakfast 10:30 instead of 9:30 would be amazing. I am not big fan of carpets too, but most of the hotels use it so, but probably is good for the winter time over there.

Beautiful hotel, very welcoming, friendly helpful staff. Enjoyed the outdoor seating area with fire pit at the front. Nice area for walking our dog. It was located within easy walking distance of an Outback Steakhouse and a good Chinese restaurant. We also enjoyed the variety of foods available for breakfast.

Thank You for excellent Late check in service, so friendly and helpful. We had to travel with our pup last min and I was very apprehensive because we have been in some pretty bad pet hotel rooms. The pet rooms did not smell, were spotless and probably the cleanest I have even been in. For a budget hotel, the pool was clean and inviting, altho we did not have time to use it. I did use the small workout area, weights, two treadmills and an elliptical. Small but sufficient for a short stay. The breakfast was a decent selection as well as the tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Would Highly recommend this for a quick stay. Showers were Hot and tub was clean. We Had an event at St Scolastica the next morning, easy 20 min drive from door to door. Thank You for being so well staffed and helpful.

The room was fresh, clean, comfortable and well-maintained. Beds and pillows comfortable. Equipped with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Freshly made pancakes were a nice touch to a large breakfast buffet although the powdered eggs and Tang were a disappointment. Although this was a very nice facility, I thought it was overpriced.

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! The breakfast was HOT and tasty and something different each morning.They are dog friendly and gave us a doggy bag for my service dog with treats upon arrival. They have a large puppy potty and exercise area. They accommodated my request for a room on the main level. The facility was very clean and welcoming. Loved the fall decorations. OH, the housekeeping staff left a little handwritten note in the room. Thought that was a really sweet personal touch!

We stayed here the other week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Motel in a great location on a hill overlooking a good amount of Dulurth towards the east. Room was very good and comfy with the king and sofa bed. Breakfast was very good and I must say the pancake machine, is really Cost effective and quick way to grab a few cakes for breakfast, with no messing around with waffles. The front desk lady Piper was very nice and outgoing keeping an eye on things on the breakfast end. Needed to extend our stay due to an injury I got out and about, and she handled extending our request very good. Americinn is kind of like a great home base for going places, dinning and sightseeing. Numerous dinning places within several miles of the hotel. I can see why they won awards for the last few years and it shows in the friendly hotel staff and the outgoing in welcoming you in when your back from your day trip. The room we had was perfect for our one night stay! Comfortable and clean. The room had a microwave, tv, refrigerator, one queen sized bed, night stands, 2 chairs a desk and table area and best of all no carpeted flooring which I feel is more sanitary. The bathroom was large and had a tub shower combo with the sink outside the door for use while someone else is in the shower. The room was plain and spacious! Check in was easy and parking was close to the room. We had a 2nd floor room. The motel staff were polite and helpful! We were given enough towels for our stay and the room was cool when we arrived for our comfort! Plenty of space to set suitcases and hang items.

The Room was very clean however, the Motel is quite dated and I have to say I was very shocked about the bed in the first room we booked into, it kind of like an Army Cot but bigger. I had to kinda chuckle when we first arrived, but all in all it was a place to lay our head and I have to say it was extremely clean. Most of all Your Staff is AMAZING!!! So friendly... ALL OF THEM AND VERY HELPFUL. :) Your Motel was 99.9% Better than what we stayed at in Las Vegas!!! At least what you say on your website is 100% TRUE!! We Stayed at 1 of the Top Hotels in Vegas - it didn't have a Coffee Maker or Microwave!!!! I have yet to sit and compose myself to write my review on that Hotel, but I can assure you it WILL NOT BE FAVORABLE!!!

We visited Bentlyville lights and just needed a place to sleep that night. The property was mostly clean- there was a cigarette looking burn on the side of the bedsheet. Our room was smoke free and didn’t smell like smoke. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was also clean. It was comfortable and convenient. The staff were all SUPER nice!

We went for the Bentlyville lights and site seeing so we wanted a clean, quiet place to sleep on a budget. Though the rate was understandable to the area, the bed was pretty uncomfortable and it wasnt quiet. But it was very clean, spacious, and the staff was very nice. Will visit again.

It could benefit from some upgrading. The rooms are spaceful. Beds are comfortable, but bed covers were stained and the room had a funny smell. We had to open the window to air it out. Shower was great, nice hot water. Corridors and entrance smelled like weed the whole time we were there. The place is relatively clean, but does not look like the photos you see when you book it. The location is good, restaurants and convenience stores nearby.

I love the attention to details. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The window was large and had three different types of window treatments from a light diffusing shade to black-out . No need to bring shampoo or soap - the bathroom had large dispensers of shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. I loved the Zero% products . Two of the shelves in the bathroom were pull outs making it easy to store away and access to your personal items. The lighting was excellent! Soft but bright enough to put on make-up and see clearly. We were provided with plenty of towels - not just one each. I liked there was a separate fan switch in the bathroom. A coffee maker was provided with plenty of coffee along with a microwave and mini frig. The TV was mounted on a swivel so it was easy to see from the bed or sofa. . Yes- there was a sofa in the room that was very comfortable. The room had a nice desk area with a very nice desk lamp. The room provided everything we needed. We also enjoyed the breakfast every morning. There was a wonderful selection of tasty items including real sausage, scrambled eggs, fresh mixed fruit, yogurts, cereals , oatmeal with a variety of toppings, fresh bakery items( yum) along with a variety of juices and filtered water. In addition, bananas ,oranges and apples. The breakfast area was staffed with two employees who were very thoughtful and made sure there was plenty of fresh food, and the tables were always clean.

The staff was VERY friendly and helpful every time we interacted with them. The breakfast was consistently good every morning. The lounge area was very welcoming and provided a nice space for the other guests in my party to hang out between events. Rooms were clean and spacious. The beds were very comfy. The blackout curtains were wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel!

Super clean brand new hotel, pretty view of the lake and super easy parking, safe, nice HOT breakfast buffet; breakfast attendant was wonderful and sweet to the kids, friendly and visited with us.

Check-in was very fast and efficient. I am a Hilton Rewards member, and they gave me some free bottles of water which was nice. Room was clean and very comfortable . Fairly large TV. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. the continental breakfast was good and very well stocked. There was a lady on hand to make sure everything was clean and stocked. I had a really enjoyable stay and I would definitely definitely go back here.

Absolutely amazing hotel and the cleanest one I’ve been at in a long time, the service was phenomenal, Brenda was very helpful and courteous when checking me in. My room was impeccably clean and tidy upon arrival, housekeeping took the liberty of changing my bedding and towels while I was away sightseeing. Breakfast staff was very helpful and kind in the morning as well as being on top of stocking breakfast. Definitely will be back again in the fall!

Overall it was a nice hotel. Room was clean. Bedding a bit old, but mattress and pillows were comfortable. The bathtub was extremely slow to drain. The tv in the smaller suite area continued to buffer to the point you couldn’t watch it. Breakfast was the biggest downfall. First morning, a Wednesday, it was good. Eggs and sausage hot, well stocked. Female attendant was constantly in and out of the room keeping everything clean, talking to guests and filling food. Could have been because we heard the GM stayed the previous night and would be there for breakfast just before 9. Thursday and Friday mornings the exact opposite. We were there at 8:30 on Thursday and 8:10 on Friday. Sausage completely gone on Thursday, as was bottled water. On Friday the biscuits and the eggs were gone, as was water and oj. Garbage containers to the point of spilling out. Absolutely no worker stepped foot in the room to check on anything. Lids for coffee were also out on Friday morning, as was hot water for tea.its a small room. Five tables either four chairs each. One wooden high chair. Front desk staff were friendly. Rarely saw any other staff. Convenient location. Easy access to main roads/highways. Good parking. Felt safe. The pool was closed for maintenance.

The breakfast was very nice; we ate there both mornings and were satisfied; the coffee was great, too! Staff was helpful and friendly. Beautiful hotel - quiet, everything is new (I think it's only about 8 months old), the restaurant on site is very good and really nice, we enjoyed the location (good part of town, close to the high bridge to hop over to Canal Park) and it's dog friendly. We loved our room with the separate living area and bedroom; TV in both rooms. Full size fridge, mini stove, dishwasher. Kitchen was stocked with plates and cooking utensils; just bring your own paper towels, dish soap, sponge, kitchen towels, etc. if you will be using the kitchen for cooking. Maybe they supply them, but our room didn't have them and we didn't ask for any. We would definately return to this hotel as it was lovely - very clean, beautifully furnished, loved the carpet in the hallways and stairs - stairwells were nice and wide and bright. Lots of options for entering the hotel with a key card. All in all, a great place and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to everyone.

The property is clean, and quiet. Restaurant in the hotel is vey good with friendly staff, our room was very clean and comfortable. We didn’t explore the area, but it appears there are walkable dining and shopping available in the area of the hotel.

The bed was quite comfortable. Nice clean hotel. The location was very convenient. The restaurant on site is a nice feature as was the Starbucks coffee and good selection of tea. Breakfast selection was ok. Staff at the front desk were very friendly.

Clean, modern, nice beds. Four pillows on each bed! Nice bathroom. The staff I interacted with were all very nice and accommodating. Regretted that the restaurant wasn't open, but it was pretty quiet in the area that night. I went to the bar next door for dinner, and there was only one other customer and the bartender/cook, so it wasn't busy anywhere!

My husband and I took a trip to Duluth for a few days and chose this hotel because of the location and beautiful view. It did not disappoint! We were greeted by friendly front desk staff. Our room looked out to the water with a beautiful view of the harbor. We were able to have our dogs with us because they are a pet friendly hotel- amazing! The room had a fridge and microwave, which were helpful for our 3 day stay. We loved the restaurant on the top floor. We enjoyed breakfast and drinks up there at the bar and on the rotating floor. Avery was a fantastic server and bartender. I recommend the bottomless mimosas and the breakfast sandwich. We didn’t utilize the hotel pool and hot tub this visit, but we have in the past and it’s wonderful. Thank you for a fantastic stay, Radisson. We will be back!

Had an amazing stay in Duluth at Radisson Harbor View! Jordan and Misty and all of the staff at the hotel went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. The views of the Harbor were beautiful from our room. At Harbor360, a rotating restaurant and bar on the top floor Avery and Tony were awesome and helpful on local recommendations as we enjoyed the best view in town. Thank you!

My husband and I stayed at the Radisson in Duluth on Friday Feb. 28th 2025. The front desk attendant Anna was so helpful and friendly. She made my check in process and checkout process a breeze. The room was very clean and the view from my room was beautiful. The hotel offers all the amenities I need to make each stay fun and very comfortable. I love the location! Whenever I visit Duluth, I try to book this hotel first because it is my favorite. I would highly recommend staying here.

We loved staying in the iconic Duluth hotel. The view was amazing. Breakfast was delicious in the rotating restaurant. Only critique is that the pool area could use some plants and decor to liven it up. It really feels outdated and brings the overall experience down. But otherwise a fun experience to stay there.

Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Our room was very nice and clean. Comfortable bed, pillows were so fluffy. The pool and hot tub are very nice. My husband liked the Sauna. We had a beautiful view from our room. Nice walking paths around the Marina. They have some outdoor seating. The food was delicious, I had Jumbo shrimp my husband had the white fish. Nice portions. The chef was so nice, he was cooking, waiting tables and at closing was cleaning up the restaurant. I didn't get his name, but job Well done!

Booked thru hotels.com got a great rate for Sat. 7th. Check in was super quick!! Room was on other end from check in & parking was limited but room was super close. Lots of kids to hang with, my almost 11 and 16yr had a great time in the pool area (which inc. Sauna, bathrooms, changing area, a billiards table $1/game & air hockey, saw a few claw machines too. Pool itself is 3-5ft deep and larger than the typical hotel pool and was perfect for whippings toys and balls to insta- friends. I booked for the secluded location-feel. A water view no matter where your room. Big boats and docks to meanger on, a bikepath that follows the chanel on the other. The restaurant looked super cool and out door fire pit was easy to self-lit. But..the food was horrible. Ordered crab cakes and lemonade, no crab cakes, change my order, drinks arrive, no lemonade?? Bummer, then alfredo pasta arrives, my daughter asks if it tastes funny - we hesitated but tried..it was off...use caution on what you order..maybe it was still too early in the season & training was still happening. Room was basic & what I expected. The view, however, fully exceeded my expectations! 😀 you do have to look past the building itself...just know its seen a lot of happy people in and around it over the yrs! Classic family hotel with nature all around. Parents! Get up early and grab Dunkin..its close! Then soak in the morning sun, take a few photos of the passing boats & let the birds entertain you!

First stay at this location. In the area for the Bentleyville opening night. Property is a resort type vibe on an actual island in Wisconsin. Chose this location as it’s very, very short drive to Duluth and it seemed like it’d be a quiet place for the weekend. Plus this place is equipped with just about everything you need for some time away, including restaurant, bar, pool, etc, However, if you travel with anyone who startles easily I would recommend you stay somewhere else. Throughout the night I awoke to kids crying and adults fighting on one side of the room and a party and music on the other side. When I got up to go get coffee at six the occupants in both adjoining rooms were still audible. All in all I’m sure this is a wonderful location because staff is genuinely happy to be here. I’ll visit again but I’ll definitely direct book to select my room.

Staff is very nice. Like this hotel off the beaten path of business from the Duluth area. Quiet relaxing atmosphere. Love the Christmas decorations in the lobby and the coffee and tea options in the lobby. A quick drive across the bridge and you are in Duluth. Restaurants nearby in Superior. Walking paths right from the hotel.

First thing to note, the hotel is set back from the lake by a couple major roadways. A busy road runs right in front of it. The write up had me thinking this hotel would be right on the lake walk, with a lake view room I paid extra for. I was disappointed to find my lake view room looked at a busy road and construction with the lake in the distance. It would have been better to get a room on the other side facing the neighborhood, not the road! The room itself was clean and comfy. The only problem with the room is the door had a big crack at the bottom - no door jam! I rolled up a towel and made due since I paid in advance and couldn’t cancel. Fortunately I was in a quiet area and it was a slower night so not much hallway noise. The staff was friendly and attentive. The desk guy ran right up when The phone didn’t work - no dial tone. Apparently some phones don’t work… I did end up with a good night sleep, but next time I’ll pay a little more for a hotel on lake walk!

We go to Duluth every summer and this is our first stay in this hotel. The interior is a bit dated, but don’t let that deter you from this nice hotel The beds are comfortable (we always bring our own pillows so can’t comment on those). We slept great and we usually don’t sleep Well at hotels. The a/c was cold and very much needed due to the unseasonably warm weekend. It was quiet and the parking lot was safe. We were able to park right by our room, which we liked and made loading/unloading efficient. The showers were good. The room was clean. Location was great. The cold water from the sink was cold and tasted so good we almost considered bringing some home! The only down side - the breakfast was not great. They did have eggs which were good but they did not have coffee. However, there is a great coffee shop next door. We will be back!

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, even pointing out ways to save money when booking. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was really good with several hot and cold options, including fresh fruit. Would stay again!

I have stayed here twice, clean, breakfast is enjoyable. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Jerome is exceptionally helpful and welcoming!

When I checked in on Thanksgiving the clerk was amazing- he was friendly and engaging. The location, the hotel was quiet and clean. The breakfast had numerous choices and was fresh.

The motel is being renovated. Inside was clean. Room was spacious and clean. Our bed was comfortable. Only downfall, no elevator. My husband is on oxygen and cant walk stairs. There are stairs everywhere! Full flights. They had to give us a different room which was very nice of them. Not ADA ready. We would however stay here again. Breakfast was the norm for motels. Nice eating area.

Clean room. No art on the walls. Just the leftover screws. Comfortable bed Good breakfast and clean spaces. Friendly staff. You enter by going down a flight of steps outside into the lobby I was not told about a ramp entrance until I checked out. Economical - nice location with free parking and easy access to freeway

The Baymont isn’t a fancy hotel but it’s clean, the beds were comfortable and they had a nice breakfast. Pool was closed when we were there but could still get to the large deck which was great for morning coffee. Staff was friendly and efficient.

It was quiet, clean and peaceful. The staff were great. The room we were in needs a new fridge as it did not have shelves or door bars to put things in. All in all it was a very nice stay.
