Hotels with Jacuzzi in Room in Fortaleza

Very functional gym, clean and windy. Nice pool and Jacuzzi.

Excellent hotel and little oasis in a relatively undeveloped and sometimes rundown beachside strip. The hotel is super clean and has minimalist style. The rooms were great, well tended with comfy beds and plenty of sockets big shower and a good tv. The staff were amazing, attentive and friendly. Special thanks to Junior and Mabelle on reception who were fantastic.They also helped with a medical issue we had without fault. In addition the bar,restaurant and poolside staff worked hard to please every request. The hotel bar and restaurant prices were reasonable and good value .Breakfast varied and Brazilian. The amazing Pria do Futuro beach is steps away over the road with plenty of activities and beachside bars and restaurants during the day. (warning they closed with sunset around 1800 at the time we were there).Warning in that the sea is quite rough, great for all the windy water activities. The temperatures were a constant 30degrees when we were there but a consistant and established Fortaleza breeze kept it pleasurable. The main tourist area of Meireles is a 20minute taxi ride away (around BRL20)and offers more restaurant options and great night market. Take a 30min taxi to nearby Beach Park waterpark for a great day out. Not cheap at around BRL280 but a well organised, clean and Disney-esque adventure. Fortaleza is a wonderful and varied place and I would recommend the Hotel Gran Mareiro without a doubt for a holiday, base or trip to this part of amazing Brazil.

The Hotel is right next to the Praia do Futuro with all the beach bars and restaurants. Praia do Futuro is less busy compared to Beira Mar. It is a great beach during the day and you can walk for kilometers along the beach (However, consider that in the evening there is nothing happening in area – you have to take a cab to Beira Mar). We did not test out all the facilities of the Hotel, the bed was comfortable with the right hardness, the shower worked well, the breakfast was good (buffet quite ordinary, but great tapioca and omlettes) We very much appreciated the flexibility and small charge for a late afternoon check out, as our flight left in the evening and it was great to be able to shower and change before leaving for the airport.

The staff were very helpful..the breakfast buffet had a vast and varied selection of food including chicken pie which was delicious. The rooms were large very clean and beds were very comfortable. We chose the hotel for the swimming pool which didn't disappoint. Lovely big pool with plenty of sunbeds ( some uncomfortable) and a nice pool bar and cafe. All of the communal areas were very luxurious and clean.

The property is well-located Rooms are large, linens are clean and comfy, bathroom is spacious, the shower is warm and the water has lots of pressure

It's very close to Iracema Beach (an easy 6-7 minute walk) but far away enough that it's calm and quiet. The staff here is excellent -- if you take the time to get to know them, they treat you like family.

O hotel é muito bom, fica a uns 700m da praia, então é uma pequena caminhada até a mesma, se a viagem for a passeio, talvez seja melhor um hotel mais próximo a praia. fora isto o hotel é muito limpo, aconchegante e tranquilo, os quartos são confortáveis e o pessoal da recepção, especialmente Erica e Magda super simpáticos.

FOi muito agradável, a cidade é maravilhosa.O hotel é longe da Beira Mar,no entorno não encontramos nada disponível após meia noite .O serviço do hotel é muito bom,acomodaço~es boas, bom café da manhã.

The hotel is really super clean and everything is super fresh and modern, looks even better than the pictures here The food from the restaurant is some of the best I had in Ceara The staff were super friendly eventhough like most places in Brazil they didn't speak much English but they were really really helpful and I couldnt even feel that problem

Acessibilidade ruim . Ficamos no 2o. Andar e tínhamos diversos degraus a subir e descer , parecia um labirinto. O café da manhã apresentou falhas: alguns itens não eram repostos , então quem tomava café a partir das 9 hs não encontrava todos os itens.

The new pool is spectacular, what a view. The spa area is so relaxing, very zen atmosphere. The gym has state of the art equipment and is very clean. Perfect way to start your day , workout, go to the steam room and jacuzzi then have a delicious breakfast with a view of the beach. Truly amazing. I love this place and it will be the only place I will ever stay when I am in Fortaleza.

The service and the food were excellent. For those that don't speak Portuguese, most staff spoke good English. At the onsite restaurants they also had photos with the menu and multiple language options. The spa was very relaxing and included a steam room and sauna. The jacuzzi was inside the spa area and looked out onto the pool and the ocean. The beach nearby wasn't the nicest, but there was a nice biking and walking/running path along the beach and places to eat and hang out.

Great location, right on the beach in a less crowded area. The breakfast was outstanding, with grace notes like fresh honeycomb, passion fruit, and wonderful cakes and breads. Both restaurants (Mucuripe and Mangostin) were top-notch. The rooftop pool was a total delight, with amazing views and refreshing breezes. We particularly enjoyed samba night there with the live band. The free 21-speed bikes to borrow were a wonderful perk! The protected bike lane along the beach made it easy to get to the craft fair 1km down the road, and to watch sunsets from the jetties. In our room, the bed was super comfortable and the shower was luxurious. Lastly, the staff were all incredibly friendly, thoughtful and knowledgeable.

They get 5 stars because this is the best hotel in Fortaleza—if they were in a developed country, or a resort city, it would not be a 5 star experience…with that caveat in mind, the rooms were clean and 3/4 nights the AC worked well. Everyone who works here was incredibly nice, and desired to make this the best possible experience and to a remarkable degree they all succeeded. The spa is clean and professional. The food in both restaurants is sub-par though the service and ambience were fine. Internet was fast and reliable. The windows open to allow in fresh air which i love. If you ask for additional towels they will bring them to you promptly. The fresh papaya was perfectly ripe every morning. The breakfast buffet was the best meal they served—simple eggs were particularly fresh. Bread suffers probably from poor flower…the usual issues with running a hotel in the developing world—particularly when the hotel is not large enough to justify the costs of bringing in top ingredients.

Among all the many hotels along the busy beach of Fortaleza the Gran Marquise is certainly an outstanding place to be. Nice rooms, great view, wonderful breakfast buffet fullfilling all your culinary desires and above all such an amiable, helpful staff at the reception, in the restaurant, room service and cleaning team. The view on the roof top is extraordinary, the gym spacious, the spa a great place to relax. And don't forget a visit to the bar where two barkeepers are real masters in the Caipirinha mixing art!

A localização do hotel é excelente. O quarto grande, cama confortável, roupa de cama limpa, banhiero grande, chuveiro quente, limpo. Café da manhã excelente. Piscina com pouco sol, então a água não esquenta, mas a jacuzzi é bem quentinha. Adoramos tudo. Com certeza quando voltarmos a Fortaleza, ficaremos no mesmo hotel.

It’s a bit outdated but most hotels in Fortaleza will be. However excellent staff and location is great for exploring the beach. Also cute fun beach bars across the street. I would come back here.

Great breakfast with many options, excellent location, helpful staff.

I have stayed at this property over 30 times in the last 14 years. The only reason I have not stayed at the property during that time is that was full and not available. While it may not be as fancy as other properties, it trumps them with its welcoming environment. I have no hesitation whatsoever in fully recommending that you choose Hotel Beira Mar as your lodging preference while in Fortaleza!.

Great stay. Only problem was the motor on the jacuzzi was broke.

very pleasant, the room was very comfortable, good pool, breakfast was terrific, coffee, omelets, fruits, desserts & more. the room was clean, hotel location excellent next to the beach, taxi stand, excellent restaurants, mini-stores, gas station, and pharmacy, I just see a lot of slackers-schemers and may be criminals in the alleys next to hotels.it is not fun-completely safe to walk around the hotel or next to the beach. the hotel staff was nice, but they don't provide needed information for safety for example they don't give you a city map if you don't request one, don't inform your about the different type of transportation for example to see a soccer game in castelao arena, they don't tell you that the tour companies offer transportation to the soccer game which is safer than riding in taxis, didn't tell us about the protest in one nigh, we have to be asking for those details, internet is very weak. Brazilians are not the best hostess, some people are schemers & play "the good Samaritan game" and some people are arrogant and jerks, also they don't like to hear complains. I don't feel they are ready for big events like Olympics or world cup. good things gym was free, the room was nice, the hotel offers really good prices, I feel what they charge is correct.

The hotel scene in Fortaleza is generally overpriced and underwhelming so it was refreshing to stay at a hotel where price matched value. Nothing fancy, frilly, or chic about this hotel, just very utilitarian. The best thing about this hotel was their breakfast bar. Lord knows how terrible brazilian give short shrift to breakfast, they just don't take it as seriously as we americans, but I have to commend them for keeping the coffee and OJ flowing all the way till breakfast hours were closed which not all brazilian hotels respect. I especially liked the fact that they extend breakfast hours an extra hour on Fri-Sun. The worst thing about this hotel was their WiFi connectivity. It was atrocious which really put a crimp on my work plans. But in all fairness, internet connectivity in brazil is pathetic to begin with so I take it with a grain of salt. I love brazil but in many ways, it is still the "country of tomorrow and always will be."

Very friendly staff and great location, two blocks away from the beach. The restaurant serves great food and the inclusive breakfast is well catered for. I had a very pleasant stay and will definitely return.

A hospedagem foi boa, quarto com vista parcial do mar, sempre limpo, por mais que as tolhas de banho eram desgastadas, elas estavam limpas e trocadas diariamente, o quarto limpo diariamente. Café da manhã muito bom, passei 10 dias hospedada, fomos bem tratados pelos funcionários que foram gentis e educados. Tivemos um problema com a central de ar , mas o técnico ( funcionário do Hotel ) resolveu a situação . O Hotel é bem localizado na praia de Iracema, mas precisa de uma reforma e troca dos moveis da recepção que estão velhos.

The staff ways went out of their way to please. The restaurant ceiling could use some repairs but the food was always excellent. The linens could be replaced and wash cloths could be supplied. But overall this was a great experience.

Hotel maravilhoso ,viagem feita com minha família eu meu esposo e minhas 2 filhas, 3 vez q vo a Fortaleza e 1 vez q fico no Plazza mais pretendo voltar e concerteza ficarei novamente quarto confortável funcionários atenciosos,Só poderia mudar uma coisa o café da manhã ter mais variedades fazer uma tapioca na hora só isso mesmo poderia melhorar mais de resto perfeito amei e voltarei concerteza

Não vi os problemas que foram relatados nas revisões. O café da manhã estava bom, não dos melhores mas bom, e o quarto estava bem limpo. Os quartos com final 01 ficam para os fundos, por isso pode faltar privacidade. A piscina é pequena, mas estamos perto da praia, afinal. Me hospedarei lá de novo.

The place is too calm, the pool is perfect to stay during the day and at night. I loved the fact of being so close to Beira Mar Sidewalk. The breakfast was delicious, and I felt so comfortable there.

Hotel OK para um 3 estrelas, pelo preço que paguei, o serviço prestado foi bom. Quarto grande e simples, assim que cheguei, quando liguei o ar condicionado o mesmo começou a fazer um barulhão e a cair pedaços de dentro, desliguei o mesmo e informei a recepção que logo me trocou de quarto. A localização é ótima, no período que fiquei (novembro/2019) a feirinha da orla estava a 1 quadra do hotel, pois eles mudaram de lugar por conta das obras. As toalhas eram limpas, porém velhas, as brancas já eram bem amareladas, só no último dia que recebi toalhas mais novas, tanto que eram de cores diferentes (verde e azul). A cama é mole, mas consegui dormir bem. O chuveiro é bom, apenas teve um dia em que não estava esquentando bem e foi a noite (umas 19h). A descarga é fraca, mas funciona e a maçaneta da porta do banheiro estava saindo. A piscina é OK, porém não fica ninguém no bar da piscina, que fica no terraço. De todos esses detalhes, o que eu menos gostei foi o café da manhã, achei muito fraco, com pouquíssimas opções. Em toda a minha estadia (6 noites) houve poucas variações, e o que pecou mais foi não ter uma pessoa fazendo tapioca/omelete na hora. Todos os hotéis em que eu já fiquei em Fortaleza, 6 no total, tinham uma pessoa fazendo esse serviço.

O hotel tem tudo para ser perfeito, mas existe bastante má vontade dos funcionários no tocante a restaurante e limpeza. Outro fator importante é a manutenção do prédio, o hotel poderia ter um bar na cobertura (onde fica a piscina), o hotel poderia cuidar mais do banheiro e janelas do apartamento (estão mal cuidados), o hotel poderia ser mais simpático e cortês com os hóspedes (não agindo como se fizesse um favor e o hotel poderia deixar o quarto já limpo antes dos hóspedes chegarem (chegamos de 18h o quarto só ficou limpo de 19h). No mais é um bom ponto de referência, o café da manhã é o mesmo todos os dias (mas é bom) e o quarto é enorme.
