A 5-star hotel that actually delivers 5-star accomodations, service and amenities! Our family (with 11 and 14 yr olds) stayed here for 3 days at the end of our England, France, & Switzerland vacation. It was the perfect luxurious way to end a busy European vacation. The service is top notch. The restaurants are all so delicious -- book early! We had the brunch every morning - incredible selection. The indoor and outdoor pools are lovely, with attentive food/drink servers. We enjoyed the easy access to the lake. The staff delighted us with many little extras in the room - chocolates, cookies for the kids, etc. Just perfection. We stayed in the Deluxe Room City and Garden. The staff prepared and closed up the extra bed in the sitting room every day for our kids. It was a great setup so that the kids and adults slept in separate spaces. It was a spacious room. This hotel is worth the money. Book it!

We stayed at this hotel instead of the Four Seasons (same street) based on a recommendation. We were so glad we made that choice. We arrived early after a red eye flight during Watches and Wonders week. We didn't expect a room to be available but the gentleman at the front desk (so sorry I can't remember your name) was very helpful. He did what he could and there was a suite available (room 505 I think). This is a beautiful hotel and every staff member is friendly and helpful. The staff in the breakfast room were fantastic! Thank you to every staff member. You made our trip very memorable! Cheers!

Incredible atmosphere and stunning location. Enjoyed a cocktail at the bar with amazing food. A perfect place to relax and indulge in great drinks and cuisine. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to return with my family to enjoy the beach at the lake!

The people & service were exceptional. The hotel is under construction & our city view had a crane right in the middle of our view. My only complaint. Every thing else was top notch from the restaurant, front desk, concierge & room attendants. Thank you for a lovely stay in Geneva.

my experience in the hotel was very good. The hotel ambience was classic but the room was modern, big and comfy (I stayed in the 'lifestyle room'. The service was good and the staff was friendly. When I made my booking I requested a big bed (not 2 single beds) and they told me that they would give me the big mattress but the foundation of the bed would be 2 beds and asked if I would be ok with it which I said I would be ok as long as I get the big mattress. Upon arrival my room was not ready as it was way before check-in time. The staff was so helpful that they apologized to me and said they would prepare the room urgently and asked if I could spare them 30 minutes which was a very good gesture as that was still in the morning and I didn't aspect to be able to check-in. Everyday the staff would smile and said hello every time I walked pass them which was very nice. The were very friendly, polite, and accommodating. The rooftop bar was very nice and I went up there often Now the touch up that I think would make it better is breakfast. Their breakfast was not 5-star breakfast so this is the area where they should work on. Anther area to work on is to apply the keycard system to the elevator which would make the hotel more secured. If they can fix this it would be a perfect hotel.

Cosy place - amazing location- service fast and quick- staff is helpful and friendly , it was river view and was amazing . I think after renovation it will be amazing. The room was a bit small but yet the special feeling with historical building overcomes that

We went in June, unfortunately the window views from the breakfast area were blocked as they were renovating. But if you eat at the rooftop restaurant it is amazing view overlooking the lake area. The room we chose was a bigger room with separate bedroom and one added bed in the sitting area for our family of three. It was spacious enough to relax. It is a bit pricey but worth it for the location and convenience near shopping and business area. Lots of restaurant options within walking distance and close to Old Town.

Views from room are amazing. You watch the paragliders land throughout the day with the alps in the background. Staff were very nice. Gym was big and had all you need for a good workout. Restaurant at top had nice views but menu wasnt the best. Only two negatives: filtered water dispenser in lounge tasted bad so we bought water from the convenient coop across the street; and breakfast had only one option which was an expensive buffet, no a la carte. But this hotel was awesome!

This hotel is superb. The rooms are beautifully appointed and modern. Ours had a view of the lake. The beds are comfortable, and the breakfast buffet excellent. One caveat - do NOT eat at the rooftop bar. Do not order mixed drinks. Food and mixed drinks way overpriced, and the food is mediocre. A glass of wine is fine - and you may need a reservation for the bar at night.

The hotel is very modern and stylish. The swimming pool, jacuzzi, spa and sauna were very nice too. The breakfast was varied and very yummy.

Spa area - fantastic, my wife loved the sauna and jacuzzi. Breakfast- very nice. Room clean and well equipped. Very elegant and well located, 5 min walking distance from the station and the lake Geneva.

I very much enjoyed my stay at La Reserve - Geneve. There were so many beautiful details - beautiful gardens, outdoor swimming pool, signature scent in the lobby, wonderful and relaxing breakfast, fun restaurant and bar including guest bar tender event. Lovely spacious guest rooms with amenities like mandarin oranges, chocolates, wine, writing materials, and porch or balcony with views. Above all, it was the people who made my stay. Christophe, the Chief Concierge, and the bell men made me feel like family.

Traveling with a toddler isn’t always simple, but La Réserve made it feel surprisingly smooth. They had everything ready for our little one, from a crib with thoughtful baby amenities to a cozy in-room teepee. Between the kids club, playground, and how accommodating everyone was, it was clear they truly understand how to make families feel at home, without compromising the luxury experience. Tsé Fung was a real highlight, easily one of the best meals we had on our trip. Every dish was beautifully prepared, and the setting was just right. Breakfast each morning was another favorite moment, with a great spread that felt both relaxed and indulgent. The whole property strikes a balance that’s hard to find: timeless design, peaceful spa, immaculate grounds, but most of all, an incredible team. Everyone we met was warm, attentive, and sincerely kind. La Réserve Genève completely exceeded our expectations. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

First, the employees are outstanding - they truly give the guest experience a 10 plus rating. The hotel is close to the airport, on the lake and easy access to the city center. We were there in early fall so the outdoor areas including the pool and outdoor seating were closed, however you can walk around the property and enjoy being outdoors. We dined at both restauraunts, and found the food and wine to be delicious. The morning breakfast buffet was fresh, had a great variety and was perfect. There were plenty of areas to sit and work if you wished to, and their lounge areas were beautiful and comfortable. They offer a spa experience that is world class. Be sure to fully understand what is offered upon check in so you don't miss out on what they have to offer! We were not traveling with young children, however they cater to the littles and allow the family to all enjoy themselves.

I was lucky enough to stay at many renowned hotels, but this one stands out as the finest by far. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed into a warm and inviting atmosphere. Even the breakfast buffet team paid close attention to my preferences, making each morning feel personally tailored. It truly felt as though my comfort was their highest priority. I don’t usually gravitate toward anything with a classic or antique style, often finding the drapery and detailing a bit overwhelming. But this hotel proved me completely wrong. From the polished dark wood to the impeccably maintained linen, every element was tastefully curated and beautifully executed. Thank you for such an exceptional and memorable experience.

I celebrated my birthday at this hotel — and it was absolutely magical! From the very beginning, I could feel how much the staff cares about their guests. Everyone was incredibly polite, welcoming, and attentive, and they truly made me feel special. My room was spacious and very cozy. I especially loved the jacuzzi, the soft white bathrobes and slippers — perfect details for a relaxing stay. The balcony had a comfortable lounge chair and a table with chairs where I enjoyed my morning coffee while taking in the view. Every little detail was thoughtfully arranged to create a comfortable and festive atmosphere. This place left me with only the best memories. I will definitely come back — and I highly recommend it to everyone!

The location of the hotel in central Geneva, next to the train station and shopping area. The room was great, classic furnished and large. The bed was very comfortable and pillows too. The hotel facilities were perfect such as gym, spa and conference rooms. We had dessert at the hotel restaurant were more than delicious. The only one thing that i could say is wish my room were having better views.

Took a while to reach from the bus terminal. But it's near the train station which made the trip to the airport super easy. Right next to a supermarket and plenty of restaurants around, with different cuisines. Staff were friendly, check in and out efficient. Lobby was welcoming to me as I had been staying in airbnba for the past few nights. I loved our room. Think it was one of the newly renovated ones. So everything was clean. And it was spacious once the sofa bed was folded back into a sofa. Price a little steep, but within the range of expectation for Switzerland.

Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a better room – actually the best one in the hotel! The room exceeded all my expectations – spacious, modern, and extremely comfortable. The sauna was also a great addition for relaxation. The location is perfect as well – close to the city center and just a short walk from the station with direct connections to the airport.

This is a follow-up to the first visit earlier this summer at the restaurant at the Hotel du Parc des Eaux Vivies in Geneva. This time, my wife and I recently visited to experience their Sunday brunch. VERY happy to report that the brunch is truly a rich & sumptuous dining experience! It is presented in a grand buffet offering a wide range of dishes - various types of quiche, beef, pasta, seafood, salads, fruit and deserts, really too many to list here. Great champagne and wine. All of this with tables on the outdoor terrace with a magnificent view of Lake Geneva. We were taken care of by Christophe, who made us feel VERY welcome and went out of his way to ensure our visit was memorable. Even though the brunch is a bit pricey, it is well worth it. The experience was the best brunch since my move to Geneva in 2015. Highly recommended, but booking in advance is strongly suggested. A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

What an incredible place. We walked up through the peaceful, safe feeling park from the ferry landing. Once we arrived we almost thought we were at the wrong place-- too good to be true? No, it's true. It's a beautiful building and an impressive establishment, inside and out. We even had a surprise upgrade to a suite. We couldn't have been happier with everything: the space, cleanliness, comfort, attention to detail, extras in the room, professional staff (especially at reception), restaurant, (dinner on the terrace, and a really great breakfast spread). We felt like royalty. We wanted to stay longer. Will definitely stay again. Easy walking to the waterfront and historic district.

Great hotel located in a middle of a parc. Peaceful and quiet. You can have breakfast on the terrace with a good view on the lake. Room was really well equipped. Bathroom was huge. Friendly staff. They have a free parking on site.

Excellent property. The studio that sleeps 1 is a great size, plenty of storage space, walking space, bathroom space and plenty of pegs for hanging. Comfy bed, feather duvet and plenty pillows, wireless charger beside the bed is an excellent touch. There are typical Europe sockets as well as CH, and a USB and USB C outlet so you can even forget the plug! Kitchen is extremely well equipped, everything you would need if you wanted to use it. Bathroom is modern and spacious, water pressure isn’t amazing but is still a nice shower. Hairdryer was good as well and plenty of towels supplied. My only negative of the room is there are too many light switches that do different things, not clearly labelled which ones control which and takes time to figure out. The top floor communal space is perfect to socialise or hang out, plus laundry facilities and almost a 360 degree balcony for excellent views. Hosts were super responsive via WhatsApp and helpful with local recommendations and questions before and during the stay. Location is good, there is a bus and tram stop right outside with frequent transport to busy areas. But you can also easily walk to busy areas about 20 mins. There is also a good supermarket right below with decent opening hours. Easy to get to and from the airport as well, just 1 tram and 1 bus totalling about 15 mins.

I had a wonderful experience staying here. It exceeded my expectations so much so I would give 11/10 if I could. Not because its luxury hotel, it is not. But it's probably even better than that. Firstly because everything is so well thought out for the guests. There were many little extra touches, from the chargers, to the reading lamp, large towels, diswasher and coffee machine. I think every furniture was super comfortable. And the design of the room (even though I think booked the smallest option) definitely deserves an award. Cosy, beautiful and above all as convenient as possible. My greatest respects. Then I had two interactions with the customer service (once on booking, once on the phone) and once with the staff in person. All of them were easy, to the point, and super helpful. Staff is awfully kind and they had a very positive vibe. The place was really clean. Although I didn't hang out in common areas much, they also looked very nice. The washing machine, the iron even. The location is great. It is very central. Several supermarkets around. Even though the tram is right next to it, still you don't hear much of the street. I think it might be the best stays that I have ever had. Definitely the best in many years.

Amazing place - the room has everything you need, including kitchen. The whole room space is very clean and new with very comfortable shower. There is a common area on a top floor with a beautiful view on the city, cosy kitchen and modern lounge area. Stuff was super friendly and responsive. Great value for its price.

The room was spacious for a couple, had plenty of storage and the little kitchen was enough to prepare coffees and breakfasts and simple meals which was perfect for us. There was a kettle,.coffee machine, hob, microwave and fridge with freezer compartment as well as all the required utensils, plates etc. The bed slid back into the kitchen into a double which was interesting. The rooftop of the building had a common area with another kitchen and coffee machine, billiards table, balcony, and lots of seating areas which were great to relax in in the evening. The whole place was clean and modern and I'd stay again if I was in the area!

I stayed at the Kooook Hotel in Geneva and it was absolutely brilliant! I loved the modern, tech-savvy vibe – using the app to access everything, including the room keys, was so convenient and added a really cool touch to the whole experience. The studio room was also fantastic. When I first walked in, I thought I’d only booked a single room, but then I was pleasantly surprised to find the double bed cleverly tucked away. I was so impressed, I even rang home to show everyone how cool it was! The communal area was fab, and the outside views from the balcony were amazing! The hotel’s location was great too – the area was lovely and peaceful, and it was just a short bus ride from the airport, making it super convenient. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Geneva!

Hotel Les Armures was a quiet, comfortable, and small hotel that was an excellent surprise. Bed was comfortable and luxurious, room was clean, and location was off the main roads and shopping but close by. Front desk was very helpful and accommodating. The restaurant on location is historic and has excellent food. Try the fondue. Went there 2 times. This hotel is in an excellent location compared to the busy main streets where the Four Seasons is and its less expensive. Hotel Les Armures in a much more quant and quiet part of the City. Breakfast was a bit pricy, but alternatives are plentiful. Just google coffee near me and enjoy. Plenty of pastries shops and coffee nearby. One such breakfast place was called Chou, about a 1 mile walk from the hotel and worth the walk.

Hotel Les Armures is exceptional in every way. It's located in the old center of Geneva, which is perfect...though take a taxi if you have luggage since the historic center was built on a hilltop and it's a hike seriously uphill or up cobbled stairs from the lake level parts of the city. But it's the right place to stay. Inside, it's a beautifully designed and decored hotel....boutiquish in size. Front desk is always staffed and you can't walk in or out without hearing "Bonjour." Entire staff was friendly, always helpful and kind (especially Daria at the front desk). Our room was luxurious and seemed like new (best shower in six weeks in Europe). While we never once saw a maid, every day while we were at breakfst our room was immediately and quickly cleaned. At night, while we were out at dinner, our bed was turned down with chocolates awaiting. Breakfast was a delight and so convenient--maybe just include it in your reservation. The hotels restaurant is right around the corner and rated one of the best in Geneva (we can confirm). This is a rare hotel that is doing everything right.

This is a traditional 5-star hotel set deep in the Old Town of Geneva. Very friendly and attentive staff - nothing too much trouble. The facilities in the room were modern and excellent (best shower award for example) and the breakfast is to die for. The restaurant for dinner was delightful with all the Swiss delicacies beautifully cooked and served by friendly and helpful staff Only one niggle - our room faced inwards to a tiny enclosed green platform with no street view and not even able to see the sky which made it feel a bit claustrophobic. Did we get that room because we got a great price via Expedia? I don’t know. But to be clear, this is a fabulous place to stay in Geneva. Highly recommended.

This is an excellent Hotel in the very heart of Geneva's old town. It is in a superb location for walking, cultural activities, shopping, and restaurants. The staff is great, and the service is first-class. The room is very comfortable, has everything you need, and is an excellent size. Breakfast was included and it was very nice, complete and tasty, and with a very friendly staff too. They also have a Restaurant in the back, Restaurant Les Armures, in a beautiful setup, and probably the best cheese fondue I've ever had. My only issue is that I requested a room with a view in the reservation, and we had a room with zero view, just another wall. But honestly, we were probably going to do little with it, as we just returned to the hotel for the night.

What a treasure of a hotel! Its location is perfect to tour the old town of Geneva. We stepped outside the front door, looked to the right, and there was St. Pierre's! It was the meeting point for our Calvin Tour of the Reformation. Restaurants abound; the one associated with the hotel is the oldest one in Geneva and is fabulous. Reservations are highly recommended either for a mid-day meal or for the evening. Inside tables create a more relaxed atmosphere as a path used by tours goes through the middle of the exterior tables. Our room was spotlessly clean and offered lots of hanging space for our clothes plus a closet of shelves for everything else. The front desk staff could not have been more helpful and efficient. We had failed to get a Swiss adapter for our stay; we are so used to using our adapters in France. The hotel loaned us a couple and saved the day. The price for the room was high, but Geneva is a very expensive city. The two lobbies are perfect for relaxation. Coffee and tea are always available and the front desk personnel will order drinks from the adjacent restaurant.

Everything was perfect, I could not have imagined a better experience. The staff, the room, the facilities, everything. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. In my room I especially loved the kitchen, it was very well equipped and spotless, as was entire apartment. Bed was cozy, lots of pillows. Bathroom and main room spacious. AC worked really well and was much needed. I loved having the gym and the laundry room. Bedroom very quiet, bathroom felt luxurious.

We loved everything about it! A comfortable, beautiful, spotless apartment in a superb location and the staff could not have been more helpful. They gave us some great recommendations for dinner nearby and were so friendly and welcoming. It is very centrally located so easy to walk to the lake and the old town, and also well connected by public transport- including an easy bus ride from the airport and a nice area called Carouge where we enjoyed Sunday brunch. I would definitely stay there again and hope to return. Soon!!

The location of the property is perfect - straddling the old town and shopping district and a couple of minutes from the lake. It is a ten-minute walk from the train station and six-minute walk from the bus station. The property itself is spacious, quiet, and immaculate. Staff was helpful and the breakfast offered nice choices. Would absolutely stay here again next time we are in Geneva.

This apartment hotel was amazing! The facilities were spotless and the staff were so helpful! We stayed in a studio and it was set up so well. There was a good amount of storage, a very comfy bed and a banquette with a table for sitting and eating. Both sides of the bed had usb ports plus outlets. The kitchenette had everything you could possibly need including a dishwasher and washing machine. Lastly the bathroom was very spacious and had a great shower. The location is slightly outside the city center but the trams are right there and a transportation pass is included. Restaurants and grocery stores were in the same complex as the hotel.

Our apartment was so nice, I didn't want to leave. Very helpful, friendly staff, rooms well equipped, all the kitchen bits you need to make a roast if you want to! Power shower was amazing, lots of free toiletries! (I know we pay for these in the price) TV easy to use and breakfast... well, there was a great selection so couldn't try it all but cooked breakfast was pretty good and everything else looked good too! Definitely recommend.

Location is great. There is a supermarket Lidl, just next door which closes at 7:30 and is fully closed on Sundays. There is a bus stop just in front of the hotel [although I never took the bus during my stay]. There are a few eating places in close by Vernier village Check in and check out was easy. Sonia, Estelle and Isaac at the front desk were very polite and helpful. Room was spacious but the bed although comfortable, was a bit too high- had to climb up. There was a coffee maker, fridge and microwave oven and some crockery too- even a liquid detergent to wash them clean. A small problem with the bathroom-- the hand shower was very close to the toilet seat and no demarcation between the two areas. So the whole area gets wet after a bath. Housekeeping was prompt and good. Breakfast okay- but same dishes repeated everyday. Do not miss going to the terrace on the 4th flour. It gives a picturesque view of the surrounding hills. Overall a great experience

We were hesitant to book here- due to location far from city center. Once we arrived, we actually added another night. The staff were friendly and helpful. At check-in, staff clearly wrote down bus instructions. The city bus is right in front of the building. So easy to ride the bus, and free. Runs til 1 am. Food in Switzerland has been expensive- not here at the grocery store on lower level. Huge store, amazing prices and variety. Wish we would have gone here first! Room has kitchenette. Room was clean, terrace is shared, but large and nice . Nice sunset view from terrace. Laundry and gym facilities a bonus

Room is of good size. Beautiful view from the third floor (see pictures from the window). The glass window takes up a whole wall of the room with beautiful view of nature extending to the far away mountains. Curtains fully close off the light when you sleep. Bed: big and comfortable. Responsive staff. Excellent location: big grocery store beside the hotel and a coop a short walk a way. Decent café and restaurants near by (very short walk) in the beautiful village across the street. Safe area. Buses right in front of the hotel to the airport and Cornavin, and you can take connecting buses to other places. Room is cleaned every day. Fridge, microwave and cooker available in small kitchenette which also has convenient cutlery. Bathroom clean and everything functions well. Overall, a very satisfactory experience.

Great underground parking, larger size compact fridge (not those minis), full-size grocery store right next door, public transit right across the street, soft towels, comfy bed, exceptional rooftop terrace with the most amazing views and tasty Nespresso coffee machine in the room.

The apartments are just perfect. It's not in the city centre but with public transportation you can easily reach it in about 30 minutes. There is a grocery shop very close to the building, it's huge and one of the most affordable we found. The location is fantastic, we stayed on the top floor with direct access to a balcony and the view is amazing and this place is very quiet. Definitely a must return next time we visit Geneve. And we cannot forget the staff, always very sympathetic and so so helpful! Enjoy your stay if you're planning to be here!

A very modern and very environment-conscious hotel. Location is coonvenient to the airport (free shuttle) and a tram stop (one block walk). On request, the hotel will give you a free public transit pass for the duration of your stay. The tram line goes directly to Cornavin rail station, the heart of the city and hub of almost all transit lines. The room was both comfortable and spacious. Sound proofing was great. You get both a kettle with tea and instant coffee supplies, and a Nespresso machine. One thing I found difficult -- the light switches are all black touch pads in black surrounds. Even after 3 days, I couldn't remember which switches were hidden in which places -- some labels would help! Same problem for the electronic "Do Not Disturb/Make Up Room" sign. The Marriott Club Lounge on the main floor, and the restaurant, were both comfortable and of good quality. Service in both was near-perfect. The breakfast buffet was generous and always well-stocked, and the omelette chef did a top-notch job every time. The dinner menu was intriguing and offered both unique and standard choices. All of the food was excellent. Yes, it is expensive -- this is Switzerland, you have to expect that. What matters is the value for money, and this property was outstanding for value.

We had 1 night in Geneva and an early morning flight. We chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport - but it gives a 5 star rating for me. The property is very nice and modern and well maintained. Our room was also modern - nice size with a little space to stretch (not cramped) - and nice amenities with a TV to relax after long day. Shower and bathroom also nice and bed very comfortable. The staff were helpful and provided us with card to use the local tram with good instructions. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was very good - enjoyed the swiss wine too. The hotel offered a shuttle to the airport which was right on time and very efficient. While we chose this to be close the airport - the tram access was right outside hotel almost and very easy and free ride right into city center - so convenient for sight-seeing. Great experience here.

Nice new modern hotel near airport, on the tramway line beween the GV center and CERN. We had a really large room on the 11th floor, although the view was nothing special (another hotel across the street). The room was really BIG, bathroom too. The shower system is the best and easiest I have ever seen, while the lighting is ... too complicated with lots of options ;) Incredibly good sound insulation: it is really loud outside with the planes, cars, tram but really quiet with the window closed. We were pretty much below the rooftop bar but heard no nuisance. The breakfast option is huge, very large buffet and lots of seating space. There is a pervasive subtle nice smell all over the place, very nice. WIth the heat wave that week-end, the cool inside was a relief. All in all, a good place to be while in Gv, from where it is easy to go ... anywhere. We had a travel pass from the hotel, very useful (public transport is virtually free it seems in Gv - no control and free entry into buses etc - but still, the transport card is a nice touch).

What a beautiful hotel and great staff. They Made us feel like we were home. The front desk people were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant staff absolutely amazing. Our room was fantastic we got upgraded to a suite which made our stay so much more enjoyable. The M lounge was great . I wish they would have not only had cookies, gummy bear etc to snack on, but had savory things as well, crisps, nuts and chocolate! We are is Switzerland the M lounge needed Chocolate! The happy hour food was great. But they needed someone in there at all times to restock the food. Boy at 7:30 exactly all food was pulled, so you have to make sure you are there before 7:30! The only other complaint we had was a hotel of this caliber needed to have a dedicated concierge desk. It was very difficult to book tours, make reservations for restaurants, get recommendations without a knowledgeable person to help do this stuff for you. We will stay here again and hopefully next time we can give them a 5 star rating.

My absolute favorite hotel in Geneva: prime location by the lake, 7 min walk from the Cornavin train station. Very nice and helpful staff, clean and quiet rooms. A small jacuzzi at the lower floor is a nice addition. Breakfast selection is very good.

The hotel was very well located for the lake and the rail station. I used the jacuzzi but did not get a chance to use the gym. I used the restaurant which was seriously good, I ordered the lamb chops. The staff were very smart and professional.

Rooms, location, breakfast, staff all great. clean. We used the spa - the water in the jacuzzi wasn't hot and the steamroom was stinky. Enjoyed the sauna, and the towel service etc. though.

This is a very beautiful and recently renovated hotel in a really handy location. ALL of the staff here were absolutely amazing. Every single one of them went out of their way to make my stay comfortable, from the reception team, to the bar /restaurant staff, to housekeeping. The spa was wonderful and relaxing and extremely well looked after (and surprisingly quiet both times I used it). The room was a lot more spacious than I’d expected with a very comfy bed and excellent shower. The location was perfect, being only a few steps over the bridge to the old town and a few steps in the other direction to the train station. All in all, a first rate hotel and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again should I find myself in Geneva. It surpassed my expectations in every way.

We recently spent 3 nights in Geneva at the Hotel D'Alleves and it more than exceeded our expectations. It was exactly the kind of tasteful, boutique hotel with personalized service that we prefer. The location is perfect - a short walk from the train, 2 blocks from the river, and a short walk to Old Town and many museums. The hotel itself is on a quiet street and the neighborhood has several cafes, restaurants and shops that make it feel like a true neighborhood, not a big city. The small lobby and hallways are filled with great art and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. We had selected a Deluxe Double room which was very spacious, well-furnished and maintained, with a great modern bathroom (walk in shower!), fluffy towels, and excellent air-conditioning. Breakfast is served in a lovely first floor room by charming people who serve made-to-order coffees and eggs along with an extensive buffet. We would absolutely stay here again! Thanks to everyone at the hotel for making our first nights in Switzerland so pleasant.

After reading glowing TripAdvisor reviews, I knew this was going to be our hotel for 5 days in Geneva. We booked 2 rooms with 2 twin beds. Room 54 was larger than 53. Julia and Kate who were at reception were absolutely wonderful and very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our complimentary breakfast with Francois as the very personable host. He is also the owner of the hotel. He immediately asked what we wanted to order and took our coffee order. The room was charming with mint green tablecloths. There were many wonderful items on the buffet: freshly squeezed OJ, meats, cheeses, yogurt, fruit, and breads. Omelets, eggs and bacon could be ordered. The location was perfect with easy walking to the train station, bus station, restaurants, and main attractions. There was an elevator up to the 6th floor. Our rooms were very quiet. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Our bathroom was quite large with a tub and shower. Our rooms were spotless each day. We absolutely loved staying here!

After a disappointing stay in Paris on our (short) interrailling trip we had a lovely stay here. A warm welcome, we arrived shortly after 12 to drop off the bags an, as the room was ready we were allowed to check in early, which was great. Room is clean, well decorated and had a comfy bed. I’m travelling with my son so we stayed in a twin, and it was good. Bathroom was clean and shower was roomy and powerful. Shower gel is provided, as is body lotion and a vanity kit (if you want one). There’s a safe and telly (French/German mostly. Breakfast was good - coffee and various cooked options made to order, a buffet of croissants/cold meats and cheeses, yoghurts etc was good. They even leant us umbrellas as the forecast was for rain. There was a decent Chinese next door which we tried and a short walk from the old town. Would recommend again.

The rooms are gorgeous, very well done, spacious, clean, comfortable and the bathroom was much larger than expected too. A big tick! We also really appreciated the super soft bathrobes. There’s a lovely buffet breakfast with plenty of variety for a smaller hotel plus bacon, eggs etc cooked to order. The hotel itself is beautiful, very nicely decorated and in a great location, everything is walkable and easy. There’s paid security parking across the street. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful and professional. We were in room 12 and would definitely stay again.

My wife and I really liked the Swiss Luxury Apartments. Here is why: 1. The service was sensational from calling cabs to attending to our every request. Our Concierge Bastien was a truly wonderful host and so helpful. Thanks Bastien. You are the best. 2. Our room/suite 632 was exactly as shown. Everything was working well. We loved the kitchen and made a light breakfast daily. There were 1 and 1/2 baths. Two big TVs. Big desk and huge dinner table. 3. HUGE BENEFIT: The apartment had an easy to adjust AC control that allowed us create a cold bedroom. Most European luxury hotels have lousy AC units or rooms with no AC control in the room (the management controls the AC). Not here - it was so cold, cold in very hot late June weather! 4. QUIET - Our room 632 was whisper quiet at night. No street noise or noise from other units. 4. There was a central hotel refrigerator where one can get bottled water, soft drinks or juice at no extra cost. Very helpful in the heat. I could go on and on, but you now have the idea. This is a luxury option that cannot be beat in Geneva. I would never stay in a Geneva luxury hotel when we have as an option: Swiss Luxury Apartments.

Great rooms. Super spacious for European standards and the room felt clean and fresh. The staff was super helpful with all of our questions and had great suggestions of things to do and places to go. Rooms were quiet and amenities were fantastic. The hotel isn’t in the best location as the safe / desirable side to be on is across the river, but needless to say, it’s a quick walk to get to the good area of town.

Located a 5min walk from Geneva main station (which itself is 3mins per train from Geneva airport) and a stone's throw from the lake, surrounded by restaurants and endless miles of lakeside walks, shopping, transport, culture, mountain views. The staff gave us a friendly welcome, the reception area and bar feels 'luxurious', the facilities are top quality, the room was a great size with separate dressing area and innovative design giving the room a spacious feel - my only regret is we did not have more time to stay longer!

The property was so clean and very close to the most famous areas of Geneva town. There are 2 most rated restaurants nearby the hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful, Turkish man who works at the reception helped us a lot about where to go and visit and showed the most famous, must see places on the map. One has to understand that the Bernina isn’t a holiday resort or part of a major hotel chain. Don’t expect swimming pool or tennis courts. It is a city hotel that you don’t spend much time at the hotel other than sleeping and having breakfast. The location was perfect for me, right opposite to Geneva train station, only minutes away from airport. This is important because you can get a taxi anytime. It is a corner building and stayed at the top floor, which gave me a good view of the city over the rooftops. The room is not big but very clean and has comfortable beds and a table to work on. Blind shutters were perfect because I use them at home too for total darkness. The windows were triple glazed to provide a very quiet room. There is a lounge in the ground floor with complementary coffee, tea and cookies. Had complimentary coffee and tea in the room also. The refrigerator was big enough for bottles. Breakfast was not ‘’Englis breakfast’’ with scrambled eggs and bacon etc.. but very efficient with cereals, eggs, pastry, tea, coffee fruit juice etc... Wifi had good speed. Staff was friendly and they had ‘’no hurry’’ approach. small but very good detail, they had umbrellas for the guests' use, which was very helpful. They served only breakfast but they had agreement with the next door brasserie if you needed to eat something. If I have to return to Geneva, the Bernina will be my first choice.

Central location across la Gare du Cornavin. Near the public transportation, restaurants, currency exchange, and shops. Staff is very professional, attentive and friendly. They are simply exceptional human beings. The hotel is clean, and so are the rooms. There is a mini fridge, safe and coffee machine with complimentary coffee and tea in the room and some of the rooms have small balconies. The rooms are sound proof. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. There are also basic toiletries in the bathroom.

Hotel Bernina was our first stop in our ten day trip to Switzerland and it couldn't have been a better experience. The hotel is right across the street from Geneva's main train station. We were welcomed by Santiago and Gloria at the reception. We arrived very early in the morning and the room was not ready, but they were very welcoming and showed us places where we could visit until check in time. We walked to Lake Geneva which was only a few minutes away. It was breath taking and it was such a beautiful day. We also visited the Old Town and climbed the towers of St. Pierre Cathedral which offered breath taking views of the lake. We went back to the hotel a few hours later and Gloria informed us that we had been upgraded ! We were not expecting such a beautiful room on the top floor with view of the lake and Mont Blanc. This was definitely the Junior Suite. Beautifully decorated room, with A/C, mini bar, very clean, comfortable bed and pillows perfect for recovery after a very long flight. After travelling through Switzerland and having stayed at several 3 star hotels, we can definitely say that Hotel Bernina should be considered a 4 star hotel*. Very nice hotel, clean and stylish. Great location across from Cornavin train station. Several restaurants right next door and within walking distance of so much more. Upon checkin, reception was friendly and spoke English and French. Gave a great recommendation for dinner. We found our room to be wonderfully clean, tidy and quiet. It was however small even for European standards with very little storage in the room or the bathroom. No shelves in the shower. Lots of USB charging stations on both sides of the bed. The safe was too small for my standard sized laptop. “Free mini bar” consisted of 2 waters and a beer. The fridge was the tiniest I’ve ever seen. Not deep enough for even a box of leftovers. Reminded me of a medicine cabinet. Room was cleaned daily. Towels were small and thin but sufficient. Blackout shade was dangerous in that we might sleep all day. It was quiet and dark even though our room faced the station and busy street. AC was cool but not as cold as my husband would’ve liked. Overall it was very nice for the price. We loved being so close to everything and also the free transportation passes that hotels offer in the city. We were able to get to the airport for free using the station across the street. 7 min ride. Trains left about every 20 min. We recommend for sure!

Hotel Bernina was a fantastic surprise find. I booked it for a one night layover in Geneva, and it turned out to be such a nice and comfortable place to stay near the Geneva station. The front desk team was extremely helpful and friendly, the facilities stylish and clean, and importantly - our room was artfully decorated, updated (modern) and quiet with very comfortable bedding. The hotel has a nice sitting area or reading room on the main floor, which was nice to sit in, and a cozy dining hall for breakfast service. The location across Gare de Geneve was our initial reason for staying there, but this hotel stands out among the other hotels in the area that I've stayed at.

We really liked our stay at the Kipling hotel. The room and the bathroom are spacious and comfortable and very clean. Very close to the train station and walkable distance to the center and the lake. There are a lot of options around for bars and restaurants. Bonus was the Christmas market being close to us. Breakfast was tasty and had enough options.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay very much. The location was very good for us. It's a short, easy walk from the train station. It's not in the historic centre of Geneva, but it's not far to walk and there are plenty of good restaurants within a few blocks of the hotel. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We really liked the decor and layout of the room. Breakfast was excellent and all the people working at the hotel were friendly and helpful. It rained while we were there and the hotel even supplied loaner umbrellas. We would have been happy to stay longer than 2 nights and would definitely stay here again if we return to Geneva.

A very pleasant one night stay. The room was quiet, reasonable size with a balcony (although too cold to use it). We exchanged a queen size bed for early access to a room when we arrived and the double bed was comfortable but a little small, fine for one night. Bathroom was good and clean, shower a little small, but good water pressure. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The front desk staff could not have been more friendly! They gave me good tips for the area. When I read reviews I was a little worried about the area the hotel was in as some described it as sketchy and I am a women and was traveling with my teenaged daughter. I really liked the neighborhood though and felt perfectly safe! The neighborhood actually turned out to be one of the best parts of the stay. I liked that it felt more local and was very diverse - it was like staying in Park Slope vs Manhattan but on a smaller scale as everything was easier to get to. There was a cute tea house close by (La Vouivre) with nice outdoor seating. We had a great Indian lunch at the nearby Curry Club by Chef Urvi. Right next door to the hotel was a cute organic market. We were also close to the water taxi which was a fun way to go downtown for the Choco Pass stops, and buses to the UN, and the train to the airport was very convenient too! It was only a 15 min ride to the airport a nd free with the hotel transit pass. Geneva was in a heat wave, so the air conditioning of the hotel was welcome. We also loved the Kipling decor of the hotel which made it unique and cozy. The room also had a deep bath tub which was nice for soaking in after a day of sightseeing! I also liked the flavored water in the lobby and comfy couches. We would definitely stay there next time we're in Geneva!

Very quiet, clean, comfortable room with great en-suite shower facilities, a lovely window-seat, electric sunblind, fantastic location for visiting Carouge, Geneva and easy access to the airport taking the 18 tram in front of the hotel to Cornavin station then 6-minute train journey (covered by bus ticket) to the airport. Other very good bus connections near the hotel. Fun cartoon décor in each room and on each floor. Wonderful choice of Continental breakfast, including frequent home-made marmelades, cakes and tarts. Great value for money.

This was my third time staying at the Mandarin Oriental in Geneva. The first time was a family vacation and they pampered us so much that I don't want to stay anywhere else when I go to Geneva now. Top notch service all all around - every staff member will do whatever they can to help, irrespective of their job description. Sachi is the best Japanese restaurant in the city. The breakfast spread is vast and varied. The MO bar serves tasty cocktails (not necessarily from the menu) and bar food. The in-room dining menu is also more varied than that at most other hotels and room service is prompt. The concierge desk is super helpful and goes the extra mile every single time. Special mention to: 1. Quentin and Leo who will always keep a quiet table for me on the verandah for breakfast. 2. Tom at the front desk, who got a local patisserie to make a watch-shaped chocolate specially for me and had it delivered to my room as a surprise waiting for me during my stay. Tom also has excellent taste in watches.

Great stay. We were upgraded to a larger Madarin Room with an amazing river view. Front Desk Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, providing us with detailed information on things to do in Geneva and offering to text when room was ready. We were able to check in a few hours early which was appreciated after a long flight. Overall great stay. As others note wifi is not free. However, apart from that the room was very nice and luxurious.

Hotel is 5 stars, great, new building with high tech, very quiet. Excellent location along the Geneva lake/River. Staff were so kind, restaurants were amazing for breakfast & for lunch/dinner. Room wad perfect for a family with 1 spacious room connecting with other room for kids. It’s one of the best hotel in Geneva, definitely will come back.

check in was smooth and easy staff are professional all the way junior suite was a treat to stay in breakfast is varied and tasty location is incredible while staying in Geneva very comfortable rooms they offered complimentary breakfast for my brother bathroom was glorious with shower and bathtub climate system was very easy to navigate overall I enjoyed my stay and I hope to come back soon

Mandarin oriental never disappointed me. Great service, well maintained facilities, friendly smile. Although I arrived in the morning after 12 hr flight, room was ready for me so I could fresh up myself before full day meeting start. Staffs at entrance and concierge are fantastic. Food is also amazing no matter breakfast, in room dining or dinner at the Japanese restaurant. Highly recommend to stay!

Wonderful hotel in a splendid surrounding! Very spacious and comfortable rooms, perfectly clean, relaxing atmosphere, excellent service, very kind and helpful personnel, delicious breakfast, parking available. Everything was just perfect!

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. They helped with transportation-both public transit and arranging a taxi, as well as information about the area. The breakfast buffet was delicious, varied , and well presented. The hotel itself is in a fantastic location right across from a lovely park and very close the lake within easy walking distance to the most popular sites. My room was spacious, comfortable, and attractive. It was also very quiet and facing a courtyard.

An excellent hotel in great location for visiting the main sights of Geneva. It is opposite a park and a few minutes walk from the lake. We shared a junior suite with our teenage daughter on the sofa bed. Both beds were very comfortable. The room was large and came with complimentary coffee and soft drinks which were replenished each day. The room had a little balcony at the front. The hotel is on a busy road but we could only hear the ambulance sirens when the windows were shut! The room had excellent air conditioning. Our son stayed in standard double which was also comfortable and quiet (at the back of the hotel overlooking a courtyard) but without the complimentary drinks! All staff were very friendly and helpful (provided us with plug adapters and ice!). We parked our car in their car park for 26 CHF and had to pay extra for the electric charging point but this ensured the car was secure. We were sent a link for a free travel pass before arriving which allowed us to use the bus (2 minutes from hotel), trams and water buses which are all very regular and easy to use.

We stayed in a clean, nicely decorated room with a balcony. Breakfast was delicious. Public transportation is very easy with buses in front of the hotel. The hotel staff was very helpful in registering for the free transportation card (hotel informed us what we needed to do for online registration before our stay). It is very enjoyable to leave the hotel and take a walk in the park and by the lake. Also, the tea at the entrance was very delicious.

Amazing value for Geneva! Location is amazing. Walking distance to Nations and a block away from bus stop. Across the street from the Geneva Lake (just a quick walk through the park). Breakfast was delicious. Service was attentive and friendly. Room was spacious for the price and location.
