Great location in city center and very walkable to the mall and train station and restaurants, yet super quiet! Outstanding breakfast quality, very helpful and welcoming staff, basic room with everything we needed (large desk, 2 chairs, and comfy bed, kettle), and very clean throughout. Plus can’t beat the price. We would definitely book here again!

Everything was perfect. I can't give enough positive points/stars. I loved the breakfast buffet, the friendly staff and especially the evening All-You-Can-Eat waffle buffet. That's a really nice and cheap option for spending a relaxed evening without going out. My room was perfectly clean and the bed very comfortable. I would love to recommend this hotel to everyone!

Clean room with good quality mattress bed and pillow. Full amenities (towels, linen etc.) provided with ensuite WC and shower. Within the room are different amenities such as coffee/tea etc. Within easy walking distance for central and famous sights of the old city (quite central location even though at the edge of the old city). Close to central train station/main bus station (10mins easy walking) and less than 5mins from tram line while in an alternative area of the city. Variety of cafes, mini-shops/food stores and restaurants close by. Generally good value for money among other options! The management team is kind and prompt to reply either through through e-means or in person, so feel free to ask anything.

The hotel is located in a quite neighbourhood just about 5 mins by taxi from the central station. The rooms are very clean, large and suitable for a comfortable stay. The staff is very friendly. They provide good breakfast and tea/coffee/juice/water is available 24/7. I really liked the hotel

Perfect location, amazing and welcoming staff, and delicious breakfast. Rooms were warm, cozy, and comfortable. All the best spots around were in a walking distance, trams and busses right next to the hotel. Pubs and little shops also nearby. Perfect stay, considering first time in this city!

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is located near Haga district, near to the waterfront, everything was in a walkable distance for us. We read reviews about the breakfast that it is limited but we found there a great tasty breakfast. we are totally satisfied with our experience there. the staff was friendly, and it was a cozy stay for us.

Hej! A great little hotel. Clean. Comfy. Helpful staff. Central to all the things you need to see, even convenient for a day trip to the Southern Islands. I would recommend Cafe Husaren in Haga for your 'fika' and Brasserie Draken in Hotel Draken on the 33rd floor for the view and best food in Göteborg. Tak så mycket!!

As usual I enjoyed it. The hotel is clean and quiet. The receptionist is very professional and friendly. All the staff were prepared for any emergency. The room was very spacious and cosy.

A beautiful and very clean apartment, perfect for a comfortable stay. It’s conveniently located near public transport stations, making it easy to get around. There are also plenty of shops and cafés nearby, which makes exploring the area very convenient and enjoyable.

Booked last minute for same-night stay and the host was responsive and confirmed the reservation within an hour. The room was ready, self-check in was smooth (instructions were clear), and the apartment was very cozy and clean. I was pleasantly impressed. It is small and the bathroom door hits the bed, but it did the job and is ideal for a short stay. The shower was very good and had good water pressure. The bed was also comfortable. There is a large kitchen and communal eating area that was convenient. Bonus: there was a tram station nearby and it was close to get to the city center. Beware that there are only stairs and the stairs are winding and narrow.

My daughter and I had an overnight stay at Upper House in late August. Our daughter is at Uni in Gbg. We booked the luxury spa package which was extremely worthwhile. Spa, 3-course dinner, spacious room on floor 24, breakfast and an additional gym class was included in our package - amazing! The room was large with an amazing view and an extremely comfortable bed. A perfect stay! We'll definitely be back. Fantastic staff as well.

Whole hotel is very modern and spotless clean. The personnel was professional and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and varied. There were also many vegan and allergic friendly options.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a plumbing issue in our room and were immediately serviced and proposed an alternative room. They tended to every need with care. Very clean and comfortable and excellent location in front of Liseberg’s main entrance and the bus stop from/to the airport. Breakfast was and hotel restaurants were excellent!

The place was very clean, modern and nice. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. It is very close to Ullevi stadium, so it has a perfect location when you are going to a concert. It is also very close to the city center - You Can walk or take the tram.

This hotel was brilliant value for money. The staff were lovely and helpful on arrival and check in. The room was very clean and comfy, possibly a little small for 2 adults for a long trip, but for 2 nights, it served the purpose and was really comfy. Breakfast was great - the waitress was so helpful when I told her I was feeling unwell and asked for lemon - she went and got me some without hesitation. Good location - 5 min walk from the tram and bus stop - both in which are efficient and cheap! We did struggle with how to pay, they seem to have a tap in service but all was in Swedish and nobody else seemed to tap in. When we did tap in, it charged us 8p - bargain! It’s about a 5 min tram/bus ride to central station/centre of town. Hotel was great for a short stay, clean, modern and efficient. It was in a quiet neighbourhood but close enough to the action. Would highly recommend and would stay again.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is very convenient for exploring Gothenburg. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were always friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was a real highlight: a wide variety of options including many vegetarian and gluten-free choices. The fluffy pancakes were especially delicious! I also appreciated the peaceful, quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to relax. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to try the sauna this time, but I hope to experience it on my next visit. :)

Really lovely place to stay! Very quiet, comfortable rooms, beds are amazing. Breakfast was fantastic. So much choice. Great coffee and juice. Staff were so helpful, great information given about a boat trip we wanted to do. If you turn left when you leave the hotel and follow the road around past the bus stops, there are so many more shops and places to eat. It was also great to have laundry facilities available and a fridge in our room.

Centrally located, modern hotel with nice rooms and fresh breakfast buffet. Only 5 walking minutes to several bus and tram stops. Very good value for the price! Sauna and ironing-wash room were great too. The lobby was nice to hang out in, with small restaurant service. 24/7 reception and very friendly staff.

Love the concept..the garden inspired...the noise from DFDS ship loading was a bit hard to ignore...the spa is almost perfect except the jacuzzi wasnt a jacuzzi,it didnt produce so much as a fart let alone a bubble

This was just such a beautiful hotell I am at a lack for words. The design and architecture was so beautiful, probably the best Spa I have stayed at on this side of Skandinavia. The food was amazing, the rooms super nice and the staff very welcoming!! I haven’t been this impressed with a hotell in years. Pure feeling of luxury in every part of our stay, for a very value-for-money experience. Definitely coming back!!

Very nice and comfortable rooms, wleness and spa with lots of saunas, outside pools with hot water, unfortunately we left before main breakfast-but they served mini breakfast for early flight departures, we appreciated it a lot! We relaxed, enjoyed our evening and had nice time. There are many decorations and art around the hotel, it was quite nice to see so much of it.

Perfect location for visiting the Volvo Museum and the Volvo manufacturing tour. Breakfast was fabulous as well as dinner in their restaurant. In need of update which starts June 2019. Know it has a great partial view but is surrounded by industrial park and shipping dock. Make time for 2 tiny hiking paths. The spa has many offerings including yoga classes.

The hotel is large and nicely appointed. The rooms are finished to a high standard, with comfortable beds and a very nice shower. Despite the size of the hotel, we had no issues with noise or access to the restaurant. However, the key differentiator was the attitude of the staff. Our baggage was lost on our outbound journey and, for good measure, our return flights were cancelled without our consent or being informed. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful in handling our bags (which arrived at the hotel after we had checked out) and confirmed that we could extend our stay if return flights were not forthcoming. They demonstrated a clear drive to providing customer service and their efforts were greatly appreciated by myself and my colleague. We will definitely use this hotel again - but will travel via a different airline.

Turned up at Arken spar hotel with my wife and our little dog and received a very nice welcome. The lady at the reception was very friendly and made it clean that even the dog was most welcome and had even a little bag of did treats. It is not all hotels that allow the dog in the restaurant and all open common areas. Of course we have the dog on a leash and well under control at all times but having the possibility to have her with us all the time makes everybody much calmer and happier. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Great menu and Quality food in the restaurant! My room (basic one) was quite nice but small. Breakfast was Ok. I did not visit the Spa so can not comment. The location is quite remote. Good if you like me will have business in the area, otherwise nothing to do or see around the Hotel. Gods that they accept dogs. Staff were really friendly and service minded! Do recommend a stay :)

We were very happily surprised with everything at Treetop! Starting from the reception, where Sylviana offered some cava on the house to toast our wedding day and gave us a better room. Room was clean and spacious with comfortable bed and linens. The best part was the rooftop spa. The way it’s deigned on top of the hill, with the open sky and trees around, when you are in a hot tub or just lying down you’ll feel like you are in a totally different place like some Hawaiin island :) And the rooftop bar, the music everything was just perfect, we couldn’t have imagined anything more. They have multiple hot tubs and suanas - woodfire was really good. This place feels like a hidden gem so close to Gothenburg city. And yes, next morning the breakfast buffet was so so good! Food tasted really good. Overall we had an amazing experience and I’m glad to have a found a cozy weekend getaway from Gothenburg. The Tree Spa Hangout & Hotel is situated in a calm family home neighborhood in north Göteborg and is connected to the central station by a 45 minutes bus ride which works at the weekends days during the entire night. Due to an error of Booking.com I booked an one person room despite all being already in use. When I arrived at the hotel and the reception noticed it I got upgraded to an bigger two person room free of charge which was a pleasant surprise. The room was pretty, tastefully furnished, with a comfortable bed and with a good size for two people and their luggage, I had a lot. The hotel contains a restaurant, and the included breakfast was quite lavish containing British breakfast, variations of continental breakfast, cereals, nuts, fruits and muffins. I have to point out the helpful, friendly and funny personal.

Spa and restaurant were both closed the Friday evening that we spent here, which was disappointing. Instead, we visited a couple breweries in the area. The receptionist was wonderful and very helpful! The hotel itself was clean and had a cool forest theme inside. Would recommend for a spa getaway, but not the most ideal accommodation to check out downtown Gothenburg.

Cozy, good service, clean and comfortable big double bed in the ”older” superier room nr.2 where we stayed. definitely recommend this hotel/spa for couples. We will definitely come back.

Great location at Björkö, beautiful island.

The Dorsia Hotel is a great small hotel in the very center of Gothenburg with a very helpful and friendly staff. The property is decorated in a very artistic fashion and our room and bed were extremely comfortable. A fruit bowl in the room was replenished daily and the breakfast buffet was outstanding with a broad variety of meats, cheese, smoked salmon and herring as well as fresh breads, pastries, eggs, yoghurts, fresh fruits and vegetables and excellent coffee. We felt very much at home there and enjoyed some time with friends in the rooftop bistro as well.

Everything! Beautiful boutique hotel. Decor is amazing! It’s like being transported back in time or to another world. Room facilities were lovely. Drinks at the bar , dinner in the restaurant and breakfast the next morning were superb. It’s in a really good location. The staff are wonderful , friendly and helpful. We stayed for one night as a treat and it was exceptional value for money .

I had dinner at the lovely restaurant together with an American friend. Everything was perfect- the food was delicious, the service friendly and professional and the beautiful interior reminded us of ”La belle epoque”. What a wonderful contrast to all these minimalistic modern restaurants. Strongly recommend this unique place!

We stayed at the Liseberg Grand Curiosa Hotel as a family and had a great experience. The hotel is perfectly located for anyone visiting Liseberg Park — it’s literally next door, which made it super convenient with kids. The hotel has a fun and whimsical atmosphere, designed with children in mind, but it’s also very comfortable for adults. Our room was clean and cozy, and the entire hotel felt thoughtfully designed. The breakfast buffet was generous, varied, and delicious — something for everyone, even picky eaters. The bar area was also a pleasant surprise: warm, stylish, and a great place to relax after a day at the park. Another big plus: you can easily walk to the city center, which gives you the best of both worlds — amusement park fun and access to the culture and dining options in Gothenburg. Highly recommended for families visiting Gothenburg — especially if Liseberg is on your list!

Our third stay and again it doesn’t disappoint, we have always really enjoyed it. It’s a great option for families — everything is very easy and well thought out. Being right inside Liseberg Park is a real highlight; it’s such a unique setting and feels special whether you visit in winter or summer. The atmosphere around the park is lovely and makes the hotel feel part of the experience rather than just somewhere to sleep. The location is also handy for getting into the centre of Gothenburg. The tram stop is just a few minutes away, so it’s straightforward to get around without needing a car. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well equipped, with good storage and plenty of space for families. Staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay — everyone we spoke to was polite and happy to help. Only a small bit of feedback: it would be nice to have an adjustable shower rather than just the handheld one, as it would make things a bit more practical. Otherwise, we couldn’t really fault anything. Overall, a very enjoyable stay in a fun and convenient location. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Gothenburg, especially with children.

Great location just next to Liseberg, and really easy to get to from central station. Very kids friendly, the same time parents can enjoy it also. Great dinner buffet and great breakfast options. Everything about the hotel is amazing. It's super family friendly and the staff were lovely. Very clean rooms and very quiet. Comfy beds, lovely big bathroom and the kids loved the bunk beds. Great variety of food at breakfast too.

This is one of our favorite hotels we have ever stayed at. We stayed in a family room with a king bed and twin bunk bed for the kids, which was perfect. The theme of the hotel is magical and carried throughout every detail. We had dinner at the hotel buffet which was delicious and easy. Breakfast was included and it was delightful. There are many options. There is lots of seating at the cafe near the lobby where we played cards. They also have a small game room with air hockey which was a blast. Everything about our stay was wonderful.

Easy to find, tucked away down a quiet street but minutes from the central train station and airport coach drop-off. Great welcome from staff, everyone was friendly throughout my stay. Good breakfast included. Room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, as was everywhere in the hotel. Traditional decor with an amazing staircase. Lovely outdoor terrace area. I felt really comfortable and safe as a solo traveller here.

This hotel is simply fantastic. Very welcoming, both in terms of building and personnel. It's an old hotel, in classic style, but very well maintained, freshly painted, etc. The room was very reasonably sized. Breakfast is excellent, good choice, caters to people needing to eat gluten- or lactose-free as well. There's always fresh fruit too! It has an inner yard where you can sit for breakfast. Nice little lobby, tea, coffee and cake available during the day. The street is quiet, but the location is very central (shops and sightseeing). I would certainly stay here again!

The location couldn’t have been better as it’s easy to walk to many restaurants and shops with the train station, trams and buses close by. The hotel building has character with plenty of period features, spectacular staircase and eclectic style. Our room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was plentiful with a good selection. We also really appreciated the drinks and cake in the lounge. It was lovely to sit in a comfy chair and relax after a day’s sightseeing. Staff were always friendly and helpful

From the moment you enter, you feel like you've been whisked away to a different era. Absolutely stunning. Even if you are staying in another hotel in Gothenburg, Hotel Eggers with its unique architecture, exquisite interior, and original pieces is absolutely worth a visit (just have a coffee there and enjoy). The breakfast selection (and dinner) was absolutely delicious and offered lots of different options. Despite the central location (you can reach pretty much everything by foot), it was always quiet in the hotel (lobby, restaurant) and in the room itself (room was very clean, chic, and spacious). Worth mentioning is also the incredibly welcoming and attentive staff. I enjoyed my stay very much and the only thing I regret is not staying a little longer. TACK, TACK, TACK!

A very beautiful and charming hotel with a rich history and a perfect central location. The room was quiet with a very comfortable bed and everything else you needed. In the hotel there are several lovely spots to sit and relax, including the elegant dining room, a cozy glassed-in veranda, and an "American bar" where a good breakfast is served. Friendly staff and a warm, personal atmosphere – highly recommended!

We thought our stay was absolutely fantastic, because it was as if we were brought back to 1859 through the hotel's interior, furniture and decorations that added a lot to our mental and emotional experience. Even though the hotel is old, it is still neat, clean, neat and well maintained. We thought the staff were absolutely exceptional, because they are service-minded, welcoming and nice people. As for breakfast, it consisted of good and fresh quality products that were always replenished. While our beds were very comfortable which meant that we slept very well. 🥰 We highly recommend Hotel Eggers and wish them continued success!💖🎖

Gorgeous and authentic interior/exterior, seemed like stepping back in time 80 years. Highly recommendable with friendly and helpful staff. Eggers provides the most relaxing and extensive complementary buffet breakfast, with omelets, smoothies, and many choices in a leisurely indoor or outdoor restaurant setting. We also enjoyed evening cocktails and a meal there. Location suited us very well, with the flower gardens alongside the canal just across the square.

Wow wow wow - a truly exceptional hotel. I booked the break to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday and I don’t think i could have booked a more perfect place.The minute we arrived it felt truly special and the outstsbding and attentive customer service from all staff at every level, added to this. The spa was stunning, with the most amazing views, and great facilities. We had a JQ room which I would highly recommend, the decor was stunning. For two evenings we had our dinner at the hotel’s Gogogaga sky bar, which serves Asian cuisine. Truly exceptional food! Breakfast at Archie’s, was great too with a wide selection of food available.. The outdoor pool is a little gem, which we didn’t expect to be open. Thankfully the weather allowed us to enjoy this great sun terrace. Gothenburg centre is only a twenty minute walk and I would highly recommended a visit, with a great variety of shops, bars, restaurants, etc However, It is very tempting just to stay at the hotel. Would absolutely recommend the hotel. Can’t wait to return.

I had a fantastic stay at Jacy’z Hotel. The place was incredibly clean, and the bed was super comfortable—perfect for a good night’s rest. The entire hotel was beautifully designed with stunning scenery all around, making it a visual treat. One of the highlights was the location—there were plenty of activities and attractions within walking distance, which made exploring the area really convenient and enjoyable. A special shout-out to bartender Tim, who truly elevated the experience with his friendly service and great drinks. He made us feel welcome and added a personal touch to our stay. Highly recommend Jacy’z for anyone looking for comfort, style, and a lively location.

The hotel is great and full of luxury. Our booking from booking.com did not come through due to a power failure. We got a free upgrade to a beautiful room with view. It was great. All the little things really made it worth while. Very modern and with great eye for detail. Very comfortable bed. Great breakfast and also the staff was very accomodating and friendly. We enjoyed the swimming area and really nice bathrobes provided by the hotel.

Explanation how to use the Västtrafik app. - very clean and stylish rooms and well maintained property - although hotel was fully booked, we did not hear other guests during night - excellent breakfast - coffee and tea available whole day free of charge - parking garage with ‚Fort Knox‘ security level 🤩 you need a PIN-code to enter and leave the garage. Safe parking guaranteed! - outstanding roof top bar with scenic view on docklands and city Cons: - nothing Remark: we recommend to book a parking space early to be in the safe harbor. We will definitely come back!

One night deluxe room. Recommend good value. Nice hotel near to city center or restaurants in opposite area, by bus or drive, walking have to google it. Nice room, spacious and with a wide view. The “cast” function on TV didn’t work in our room, we tried with 2 movies provider, something wrong with the TV or WiFi??

Very clean and modern with really friendly staff and a very good Chinese restaurant, FEI. This was the perfect stopover on our drive back to Copenhagen from Oslo and we’ll definitely stay longer next time as it’s the perfect location to explore everything in Gothenburg while also being easy to get to and park.

Very nice, clean and modern rooms, we had a Deluxe Room on the 8th floor with great seaview. There is a bus station 2 mins from the hotel, with frequent busses to central station (ca. 10 mins travel time) and other directions. Large breakfast buffet. Absolute recommendation.

I can’t imagine a better place to stay in Gothenburg. The hotel is clean and stylish with lots of amenities and among the most helpful and welcoming teams we’ve met. The location is ideal, close to everything. Because it’s on such a buzzy street we feared that it might be noisy, but it was very quiet and we slept soundly. Our room was beautiful, very spacious with a comfortable bed and swivel chairs, lots of space for belongings and a luxurious bathroom with double vanities, a soaking tub and excellent shower. The icing on the cake was the large balcony with seating, a whimsical horse sculpture and views of the city and river. We never had a chance to use the rooftop pool but we checked it out and it looked great. The breakfast buffet was well provisioned. Overall it’s a great value for the accommodations and service provided. My husband and I greatly enjoyed our 2 nights here and wish we could have stayed longer.

Very central and convenient location, very friendly, helpful and competent staff, great breakfast buffet and very good restaurant. Nice rooftop pool and terrace with great views both over and under water. Quirky interior. 42 is a good room for two in the old part with balcony in quiet courtyard, a spacious bathroom and very comfortable Dux beds. Slept very well.

Fantastic stay. Great location. Amazing room - comfortable, clean, huge. I loved the horse lamp on the spacious balcony! Bathroom was modern and well appointed with great toiletries. The bed was sooo comfortable. The shower was tight but great pressure and temperature. Hotel inside is gorgreous and i love all the art everywhere. Breakfast was perfect - huge selection of fresh everything. Will be back again.

Superbly clean. Not en-suite, but bathroom/shower facilities were very clean and close to the rooms. Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast simple but more than adequate. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. I can also recommend Beerista, the bar by the entrance. Friendly, good choice of beer. Reasonable prices and they also serve food

Everything was clean and ordered all the time. The staff always was very friendly. They were kind to keep our luggage at the storage. The location is perfect, close to main attractions, well connected with public transport, close to Nils Ericson station, supermarkets and restaurants. There is also a bus stop of the bus coming for airport around 5 min far from the hostel. The rooms have good size and beds are confortable. They have shower and toilet separately and some together but you don't have problems to use them. Breakfast offers many options: different types of bread, milks and cereals, apples, cheese, jam, cucumber, boiled eggs. Very Mediterranean breakfast!. They also have a station for tea and coffee during evening, including a small fridge. It is an excellent place and definitely I will come back.

Great location, comfy/clean room (for the most part), and very good value. Also, strong wifi and very basic (but tasty) breakfast. Marcus was super professional and welcoming at check in. Even provided a room fan when requested and was always there if I needed anything. A true first class employee! Only complaints are the noise and music outside on the streets (bring ear plugs), and there was a nasty black hairball next to the shower drain (I’m bald so it wasn’t mine) and long black hairs on the towels. Not sure how this was missed, but I encourage whoever cleans the rooms to double check their work and not to leave something so obvious for new guests to discover. Quite gross. But absolute best wishes to this property and if they can fix the couple of cleanliness issues, I would definitely recommend.

Comfy three night stay. Our room had a window view of the street, twin room. Shared Bathroom across the hall always kept clean, no issues. Quiet in the hotel at night. Very central located so can walk. There is a bar down below and we did find this noisy even if window closed. Our room was a bit hot in the arvo as sun came through so would not like that in summer and blinds do not keep it out or the light. Windows had to be open at night so yes very noisy, but I slept ok on and off. Windows need full blackout curtains and air con increased or a fan. Brekkie good and tea and coffee station on floor five. Very much appreciated. Staff great and very friendly.

Amazing and cheap B&B in the city centre, for the price you couldn't of asked for more, clean and tidy, good simple breakfast and little station open 24hours microwave, fridge and tea coffee. Room clean, plenty of shared showers and toilets all clean, bed lovely and fast free WiFi. Staff great and let us leave luggage on arrival and departure days so we could explore. Would happily book again
