Nice, clean, comfortable and quiet. The kids much appreciated the little stuffed animals they received upon arrival-even with clothes to change! Such a wonderful idea!! Hotel staff was very accommodating to us having to change dates twice in a row due to our car breaking down and also handled our late arrival at midnight wonderfully. The breakfast was great and the kids loved the fish tank in the breakfast room-nice views of the surrounding scenery as well! Staff was overall super friendly!

Great hotel, in a nice and quite part of town. Was there in May, everything was green and peaceful. There's a big grassy area for kids, and a playground. It's a 20 minute walk to the sea, plus they rent out bikes if you like.

Det er et dejligt hotel med adgang til lækker spaområde (husk det er tekstil frit) og badeland med restaurant og bar. Der er også fin restaurant og bar på selve hotellet. Eneste minus ved hele opholdet var at der er absolut dårligt wifi, det virkede lidt en gang imellem og mobildækning i området er også dårlig (det kan hotellet så ikke gøre ved) vi måtte lægge vores mobiler ud på altanen for at opnå 3G.

Very comfortable and spacious rooms. All tidy and very clean. The whole staff was really amazing and nice (something remarkable around here). The access to Ostsee Therme was also a very nice feature included in the stay.

Very good service, great breakfast, close to beach and directly connected to the Ostsee Therme in case of bad weather. Walking distance to Scharbeutz and Timmendorfer Strand downtown areas for dinner and shopping - perfect place

It’s an old school hotel, but kept in perfect order. Great breakfast, very helpful and welcoming staff. The sauna complex is the highlight, with lots of sauna types and great steaming sessions.

Our room was even nicer than some 5-star hotel rooms we’ve experienced. Everything perfect. The manicured garden leads to a nice pathway that connects to the beach. The beach was so la la though. The staffs were some of the nicest staffs I’ve ever encountered in Germany. With the exception of one Japanese looking breakfast staff, everyone was exceptionally courteous and helpful. But even she was tolerable. The evening buffet receptionist is absolutely delightful. The buffet was very delicious. There was not a single food that didn’t taste good and there was a variety to choose from.

We booked a deluxe room and the allocated room met most of our expectation as we had stayed in a similar hotel in France (i.e. a renovated chalet) which also was very good. We had a room in the old but well renovated chalet, but there are other rooms in a new building that do not appear in the photos on the web sit, and so our comments do not apply to those rooms. Our room had been furnished as a Japanese room, and while it was tastefully decorated, the Japanese bed is very low, and there were no seats in the room. as a cushion was provided for sitting on!. There was a small table and a chair to allow for computer use and writing. Otherwise the room was very good, and so was the free Internet. We are not sure about a Japanese style room in Germany!! Given its location in the country side, and not far from a beach, you would need a car to get to it as it is not near any transport. The breakfast was good, and it felt like being in a good quality hotel, so it is a good 4 star hotel as claimed. Happy to stay here again.

The room was huge and so was the balcony. It's a cozy hotel right on the beach with a great location in the town. The pool area was great and accessible, there's also a gym. The breakfast was delicious and there was a lot to choose from.

The staff greeted us as soon as we entered and were very polite and friendly. He already also had everything ready and the check in process was very easy and smooth. The restaurant on the roof has amazing views great service and food. We also enjoyed the breakfast and spa as well.

Es ist leider sehr laut wenn man sein Zimmer zur Straße hat. Da die Zimmer keine Klimaanlage hat, ist man gezwungen die Balkontür 24 Stunden offen zu haben. Dadurch bekommt man alles mit was draußen passiert. Ab 6:30 Uhr kommen die ersten Lkw um ihre Waren auszuliefern und dadurch ist an Schlaf nicht mehr zu denken. Ich könnte mir im Sommer dort keine Übernachtung vorstellen da die Zimmer wohl Mega warm werden.

We just stayed for one night en route to our final destination. The hotel was right on the beach, not great for us in December, but would be beautiful in the summer. The room was large, clean and well equipt. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant, and breakfast was also of a high standard. We would definitely use this hotel again.

This hotel was very good value for money although we stayed over at october. The beach across the road was very scenic and the rooms were very spacious and clean. It is a self-catering apartment hotel and thus has a kitchen to cook food. The beds were as good as you would expect. It also has a restaurant attached. My children enjoyed staying at this hotel a lot.

Superb location – just 2 minutes from the beach and the main pedestrian street with all the restaurants and other great places. The large pool is also not too crowded. If you want to save on parking or if the garage is full, there are plenty of parking spots nearby, including a large parking lot just a 5-minute walk away, costing €13 per night. We rented an apartment with a kitchenette, so breakfast wasn’t included, but the kitchenette was nice and well-equipped. The balcony had a partial sea view and the area was generally quiet. Comfortable beds.

Great hotel swimming pool spa facilities literally right next to the beach central to all the shops and restaurants and the breakfast was amazing can’t recommend this hotel highly enough 😊 The staff were very professional and friendly I have no complaints about this hotel

Great hotel with a great location. Near the ocean and only 25 min. away from Lübeck Altstadt. The perfect combination of a city holiday with relaxation. The spa was sadly closed due to environmental concerns. The pool was a bit too cold to relax in, it was more of an exercise pool. Two saunas, one with and one without bathing suits on. Great restaurant onsite with delicious breakfast (€19 per person), lunch and dinner.

My family and I stayed here as we needed to visit for a somber occasion. The staff went above and beyond, upgraded our rooms, were just so so kind and respectful and helped in any way they could. The hotel itself was gorgeous, so clean, excellent breakfast and perfect location. Thank you for making our trip for such a sad reason become such a comfortable and lovely stay.

Lovely hotel in excellent location, modern decor and clean. Our room was lovely with balcony overlooking the beach so location could not have been better. Breakfast was plentiful. I think the only negative is the fact that there is no manned reception and one has to go to the neighbouring See Huus for check in etc and from a value for money point I think the price is quite high considering that parking for the car (essential as there is nowhere to park nearby) and breakfast is charged on top which made the week's stay very expensive compared to other overseas holidays and other 4 star hotels.

Room 30 was fantastic and our children were overjoyed, having two floors in a hotel room. The beds were really comfortable and the living space fantastic. The restaurant served good food for a good price and the breakfast was wonderful. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating and even took a food order literally five minutes before the kitchen closed. It was a fantastic place to stay at on the last day of our holiday. We would highly recommend this hotel.

10/10 great experience. Especially the staff, everyone was so polite and nice. Great breakfast. Beautiful, clean room. Clean neighbourhood.

I got a great recommendation from the owner of where to go for a seafood dinner. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

We loved the barrel house! Great fun to be in and cosy. Toilet and shower facilities are very close by just 10 steps away. A quiet location being out in the country. The host was very hospitable and welcoming, very interesting to talk to. The breakfast was exceptional, great variety and the best one todate. Certainly would recommend this hotel as some where to stay.

Lovely hotel in the countryside! The rooms are comfortably furnished, walk-in shower, towel heater, and, as far as I could tell, each room has a door to a small patio area out back. There are lots of chairs to sit in and it's very quiet and peaceful. Along with the main hotel, there are several small "wagons" and a "chill out" house with comfy chairs, book, games, etc. Parking (free) on premises. I didn't eat breakfast, but it looked fantastic (+14EUR) and was served in a cute breakfast room! Worth the 15-20 min. drive to Heiligenhafen & I would definitely stay again!

Very nice location in a quiet area. The host is very friendly. The rooms are spacious enough and the shower is perfect with good water pressure.

If I could rate 11+ I would. This place is absolutely magic, so welcoming and relaxing. The garden, the rooms are amazing and the breakfast is a must. Thanks again Frank!

The Meeresrauschen is an excellent small hotel with sea views, a lovely owner who is exceptionally accommodating for all issues. Our room was very comfortable and equipped with 2 armchairs, a small table to work on, a TV and ample storage space for 2 full suitcases. The separate bathroom is excellent with attention to detail such as loads of pegs for hanging towels etc, also separate towel colour for both guests so no mix ups on that front. The hotel as a whole is exceptionally clean, breakfast is excellent with more than enough to choose from the buffet. As such it's a 5-star recommendation from us.

very friendly owner, didn`t even have to sign in properly, she greeted us warmly, gave us the keys, that was it. Interior is "caribbean", blue, yellow, white, very nice. Free muffins and some candy (I think) even :-) Highly recommendable. Had breakfast elsewhere, stayed one night only.

The description describes it perfectly. The host has been aware about details that makes a stay so much nicer. I was very pleased to see/smell that the host uses perfume free cleaning products which made it so much easier for me to sleep not being surrounded by awful odours. Thank you! The area has excellent opportunities to excersise.

We stayed there for a night on our way to Sweden. Very good location near the main road, but at the same time very quiet. Comfy bed, spacious room, perfectly clean. We especially appreciated flexibility of the host regarding the breakfast. She serves it according to the needs of the guests, even rather early in the morning. Breakfast was excellent, served in the cosy room with a view on the garden.

Nice and cozy hotel in Süsel, just perfect for staying if you are on the road. Peaceful area, large comfortable room and very good breakfast. The host is extremely friendly, nice and helpful, we've got any possible help with our stay and ordering food (there are not many places to dine in in Süsel if you arrive late). We are really happy with our stay and will definitely stay there again!

The warmest welcome and genuine care. We slept like kings, our puppy felt safe, calm and “at home” immediately. Great beds, very clean, warm and comfortable. Beautiful and Royal breakfast with the most warm and professional, loving service. This is a place where both heart and soul can rest as well as the body.

Ein schön gelegenes Hotel mit tollem Spa-/Saunabereich. Schön auch die Bar und (wir waren an einem Wochenende dort) dem tollen Liveprogramm in der Bar. Super Stimmung und tolle Getränke. Das Frühstück hat mich voll und ganz zufrieden gestellt. Alles da was man braucht und sich wünscht. Wir kommen wieder.

Für einen schönen Entspannungsaufenthalt mit Sauna sehr zu empfehlen. Schöne groß geschnittene Zimmer. Eine große, schön gestaltete Saunalandschaft und einen herrlichen Blick auf die Ostsee. Abends zum Essen stehen zwei Restaurants im Hotel zur Verfügung und eins ist unmittelbar im Hafengebiet. Leider war das Essen im Hotel einen Abend nicht auf den Punkt gekocht, aber dafür war es im Pier 19 umso besser und wir fanden jeden Morgen ein außergewöhnliches Frühstücksbuffet vor.

Second time we spent a night at this hotel. Great value for money, nice spa, treats for the dog and they also made breakfast take away for us due to an early departure. We will be back!

A farm house located in nice countryside environment. Nice view, very quiet and cozy. Pet friendly. Nice and friendly host. I would recommend to visit Eutin city, just 15 min driving tour. Nice old city with a castle.

After breakfast overlooking the lake, looked after kindly by our hostess, my son and I spent a lovely hour exploring the stud. A big thank you to our host, for explanations and stories, and for lending us one of his grandchildren‘s bikes to play with. A very happy morning before heading to the late summer beach for sandcastles, fish and chips, and a delicious ice cream coffee :-)
