Hotels with Jacuzzi in Room in Guayaquil

The pool was smaller in person than advertised. It was also empty (but it was also a Monday and the day before the new mandated curfew when I checked in). Also, it sucks that breakfast wasn't included (check "available" and "included" very carefully). But the hotel overall was nice. The room and bedding were nice and comfortable, but the bathroom layout, in my opinion, was an even better indicator that Cedros was, in fact, a luxury hotel. Overall, the stay was nice, except the music playing on the speakers was a bit loud (I doubt many people go to Ecuador looking forward to hearing Taylor Swift - and if I had a laugh emoji I'd use it). Also, it would've been a little convenient if the room had a small fridge, but that didn't take away from it. My only real issue was the location. I felt a tiny bit isolated from a lot of other more local food options, but that's because I'm used to staying in the central part of Guayaquil close to Iguana Park. I guess if you want a comfortable stay to get away from the noise and the hustle of Guayaquil, then Cedros Inn is perfect. The staff was great, too. They helped me get a taxi to the airport - and the day of the curfew, too. Thank you, Cedros.

Cedros Inn was simply outstanding! From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us with genuine warmth and exceptional hospitality. The room was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect retreat for a romantic night. The attention to detail was unparalleled—from the cozy ambiance to the thoughtfully prepared breakfast, every aspect of our stay was flawless.

The staff at the Cedros Inn were delightful and helpful. WE upgraded our room immediately once we got there. The rooms were small so we upgraded to a Deluxe Suite. Highly suggested. The hotel was clean and cute. The Neighborhood was good, we were close to everything there. The breakfast every morning was very filling and had a lot of options for only $8. Overall stay there was pleasant.

This is an welcoming wonderful boutique hotel, amazing staff, just a great place to stay if you like boutique hotels. I stayed in the luxury room with the loft, amazing deal for the money.

Wyndham Puerto Santa Ana is a very nice hotel in a good safe area. The room was large and modern with most expected amenities.  Minor glitches: instead of an electric kettle for proper tea boiling, it has a tiny single cup drip coffee maker. Not ideal, but we made do.   The view of the river was obstructed by a large construction site. They worked all night on weekdays, but not weekends. The noise and lights were minorly disruptive, but again we managed.  The safe, hot water, bed comfort, and other amenities were perfect. The breakfast was excellent.  I enjoyed it a lot with good variety, some local specialties, and long flexible hours (6.30 till 10.30). The rooftop pool is very nice. The water is warm, and chemical balance was good. It is walkable, safe and very pleasant along the river all the way to Malacon 2000. The front desk let us borrow aerovia cards for a cable card ride to Duran round-trip.  You need the card to buy the fare. Borrowing from the front desk saved us a couple bucks. You need a card for each seperate person. Don't get out into Duran, it's sketchy. But the aerovia ride is perfectly safe with great views across the river. I highly recommend Wyndham Puerto Santa Ana. (If booking, read carefully, as there exist more than 1 Wyndham hotel property in the city.)

This was our first time in Ecuador, and we loved visiting Guayaquil. We intend to come back & will definitely stay at the Wyndham Puerto Santa Ana! Its location is very convenient to the airport, and the hotel shuttle gets you there quickly. The front desk staff speak excellent English and are SO helpful! In fact, every staff member we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. (I only speak a few words of Spanish, yet I was never treated as if that mattered.) The hotel is beautifully appointed with many lovely details like the giant origami crane chandeliers in the dining area to honor the white egrets that fly over the river. Our room was beautiful with an amazing view of the river, and housekeeping kept it very clean. We loved being able to step out of the hotel to walk along the River Guayas, enjoying its ever-changing beauty. Front desk staff and porters were extremely helpful getting us taxis and making sure we knew how to get a safe, secure taxi back to the hotel. We felt very well cared for and always very safe. If you are traveling to Guayaquil, I HIGHLY recommend this gem of a hotel!

Excelent location - at the margins of the beautiful river, walking distance to touristic site in Puerto Santa Ana, walking distance to cable cars, a little longer but still walkable to malecon of the center, many options of great restaurants and bars nearby, very close to airport. Room was big. Bed was king size and very comfortable. Shower water was very, very warm. Breakfast buffet was wonderful, during lunch time, chef was a very, very friendly lady who gave me the best recommendations (best shrimp soup I had ever had). Pool area at the roof top was superb, WONDERFUL 360o degree view of the city and of the river!

The Wyndham is a nine-story contemporary hotel with decor in the rooms and public areas consistent with a 4-star vibe. Our room was spacious and immaculate with a wall of windows overlooking the river. Storage was ample for luggage and clothing. The bathroom wasn’t huge but had a large walk-in shower and plenty of vanity space. But there were annoyances. The climate control was difficult to fine tune to a comfortable temperature. Only one thin wash cloth was provided. The tiny box of tissues contained exactly three (3) tissues, cheap for a hotel of this class. And perhaps most annoying (but not a fault of the Wyndham): a loud concert nearby that extended after midnight (the windows and drapes muffled the sound somewhat but book this hotel with caution on weekend nights). The gym on the ninth floor was large but contained only two treadmills (but was deserted on an early Sunday morning). The breakfast buffet was large and well-presented, featuring many Ecuadorian dishes but missing some dishes expected by American guests, such as bacon. Made-to-order omelets are available. Service at the front desk and at the breakfast was polished and professional. Were I to return to Guayaquil, I’d stay here again . . . but would check for nearby concerts before booking on a weekend.

This place was clean as can be. It's a little worn down in a few tiny spots, but the cleanliness more than makes up for that. The bed was comfortable, with nice sheets and lots of pillows. The shower was just fine, with soap and shampoo provided. You can tell the staff cares about doing a good job. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fine, and dinner was quite good as well. It is very easy to walk with a big roller-bag just a few hundred yards up over a footbridge into the airport. I will most likely stay here again if I ever have a flight out of GYE.

For a 3 star hotel, it's perfect, no complaints. Staff are very friendly, speak English. Rooms are clean, have air conditioning and mini fridge. Breakfast is good too, buffet with enough options to choose from.

This hotel is a very short, safe walk from the airport and a half block from the Alianza van service to Cuenca. You fly into the airport, walk through the parking lot (security guards are there) cross the pedestrian bridge, turn right and there's a large convenience store and grocery store if you need anything, then turn left and the hotel is right there (use a google map and you'll see). If you are coming into town on Alianza or leaving with them, this is a super convenient hotel with a friendly staff, clean rooms, cheaper than the Holiday Inn. No need for a taxi to/from the airport, it is literally 100 yards from the airport parking lot.

location perfect from airport for next day departure. walk straight out airport doors through parking lot across pedestrian bridge and you’ll see the hotel 1 block away. Hotel Garzota is actually closer than the Holiday Inn. Take a taxi to the Malecón 2000 en el centro for $6 there, $4-5 return to see the downtown palaces, river and nightlife. Worth the 2-3 hours time and very safe when we were there at midnight.

It was good. We only stayed overnight as we flew in from USA and our flight arrived really late. Check in was quick and check out was easy. Staff is very helpful

Very good restaurant with reasonable prices

This hotel is very good and offers an amazing location, because is Located in the center of Guayaquil, especially for exploring the parks in the area. . this hotel is one block from Malecon 2000 It offers rooms with TV and free internet access, as well as a gym, sauna, free parking, airport transfer and pets allowed. Rooms of this hotel have private bathrooms and air conditioning and most importantly they offer 24-hour room service. The rooms are well appointed with Jaccuzi, hot water, balcony, table, chairs, working TV and electric outlets and an wonderful air conditioning that worked perfectly. Also has an gym, although it is small is very well equipped to carry out a little exercise during the stay in the hotel. And something very important is that the internet signal has good WiFi coverage The food for the breakfast is simple but very good. You can also have a snack in the cafe or If you like great food can find all food you want to all prices and eat several traditional dishes in the hotel restaurant, although it is not a formal atmosphere, the place and the attention are excellent. The hotel is good and very confortable. The attention of all the staff is really good, because the staff are friendly and helpful. They will do anything to keep you happy. And finally I can say that it is not a 5 star hotel, but it is a very nice and comfortable hotel, not expensive and offers everything that is needed for a leisurely break.

The front desk is staffed 24/7. I arrived about 1:00 a.m., and was afforded a pleasant wait until the agent came back. There are several telephone numbers posted to call for service, but I only have data on my phone. The front desk staff is polite, courteous and efficient. This is a hotel that has obviously been a busy and vaunted higher class hotel in its past The hallway furnishings are pleasant, and on the 7th floor where my room was located is also the closed restaurant, and another sitting area with art and couches and chairs and open windows. Guests are quiet, reserved and polite. Like humans, everything has its peak and it's decline. The rooms are clean, the a/c works, hot water and daily room service. It is a basic accommodation done with a still respectful staff that carry themselves with class, but not arrogance or entitlement. Come and go as you wish. If you need assistance, just ask. 1 block to the Malecon, short walks (20 min or less) to museums, the gondola across the river, to major bus routes get to country-wide busses to explore other parts of Ecuador. If you are a night life person, it appears this area pretty much is closed up tight by 7pm, except a few restaurants. So if night life is what you seek, this is not a good location. This hotel is clean, basic, safe, and reputable.

We appreciate Hotel Malecon Inn being dog-friendly. The staff is friendly and helpful. When our car was too tall to fit in their parking garage, they made arrangements for it to be parked in a place where it was watched. Great location, especially for exploring the Malecon and other parks in the area. Breakfast was basic, and the coffee was instant. We understand that instant coffee is common in Ecuador, but really long for "real" coffee!

It is located in the center of the city. Everything is easy accecible transformation, restaurants, banks , shopping centers. This is the 3rd time i have gone with my family to GUAYAQUIL and stayed in Malecon. The staff are friendly and very helpful not to mention free breakfast. The rooms are clean and in order as well. The hotel is to sleep and wash howvwr it has a nice living room area for guests . Which i used.

I am not sure why the ratings are so bad because I had a pleasant stay. Ivan at the reception was very helpful and nice, he helped me find a room to check in early because I had a problem with one of my feet. The room I had was on the 7th floor, hot water in the shower was working, had fresh towels, TV and Aircon. The hotel is also very good located, around the middle of the Malecón and 3 minutes away from the Museum of Guayaquil. Thank you very much, I'll come back!

AC was good, shower was warm and excellent pressure. Bed was comfy and the staff were amazing. Hotel was secure and safe and the tv also worked well.

Excellent service and staff felt really safe my whole visit the place was nice and quiet and clean I would definitely come back here with my family again no problem.

It's a small hotel. While the room was quite plain and there are no windows in the room, it sufficed for a night's stay.It was also quite reasonably priced. I won't want to stay there for 3 or more nights. It was quite and the staff was helpful but didn't speak English. There is a small restaurant attached, but I didn't eat at it.I thought it was much closer to the airport. It took about 10 to 15 minutes to get their by taxi and cost only US$10.

Impeccable service from the moment of arrival until (and past) checkout. The rooms were perfect and cleaned/maintained very well. We enjoyed the beautiful rooftop garden and the glass pool overlooking the city. The security and safety is top notch while feeling very natural. There are vetted taxis and a 24/7 store connected to the hotel. All in all, we felt very well taken care of. We will definitely return.

There were a couple of options for breakfast, location was good, close to what we needed. The private and common areas were clean.

Two one-night stays bookending a Galapagos tour. This is a very nice hotel overall. Rooms, public areas and restaurant are clean and comfortable. Rooms are very well appointed. In-room coffee maker uses drip coffee which makes an outstanding brew. One downside: lobby has air fresheners with an annoying smell. Hotel restaurant (El Patio) has very good food with a reasonable menu and reasonable prices. Excellent breakfast buffet with omelets made to order. The Ecuadorian potato soup (locro) at dinner was wonderful. Service at dinner time was outstanding, thanks to a waiter named Dayvid, who remembered my wife and me the second time we were there.

The Oro Verde is located pretty close to the centre of downtown. It is a bit of a walk to the malecon, but is right by a cable car station that takes you there in minutes, is a very scenic ride, and costs less than $1! Highly recommend taking a ride around town. Hotel staff are kind, helpful, and professional. The food at the hotel is fantastic! The breakfast buffet is incredible and has so much variety. Had a delicious dinner at their Le Gourmet restaurant. The rooms are clean, large, and comfortable. They provide shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion. Also a vanity pack, which was handy. There are laundry services, but I found it too pricey. There’s a lavanderia nearby that will wash and fold all your laundry for $3, which I used instead. This and the noise from all the traffic outside that you can hear all night is why I rated it 4/5. Even still, I would definitely stay there again.

We have been staying at the Oro Verde for many years. It is my favorite hotel. Wish all the business of Guayaquil, it is a quiet, relaxing oasis. Diego is available to answer any and every question, ALWAYS will to help. Tito did a lovely job helping us get to our room. Byron was very helpful getting us back to the airport. The rooms are spotless and quiet. The food is very good. My favorite part is the staff. They are all amazing. Thank you for another nice stay!

Really lovely hotel. Staff were very polite and friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable. Food was amazing and tasty and reasonably priced. Added bonus was an outdoor swimming pool. Would definitely recommend this hotel. The drinks in the bar were pricey bearing in mind you could walk a couple of blocks and get one half the price but that is my only criticism.

This was a great luxury hotel in a nice part of Guayaquil. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor pool and ate several meals in one of the restaurants. The bar was comfortable and offered a nice selection of small plates to share.

Location, close to two malls with good restaurants. Staff, very helpful and friendly. Safe parking garage. Very good buffet-breakfast. Comfortable beds.
