Clean and newly renovated complex. The spa area was amazing with 6? different saunas ja pools. Panoramic sea views and possibility to buy drinks and snacks. Bathrobes in the room so you could easily walk to the spa. Charging station for electric vehicles. Haapsalu is a charming compact city by the sea with nice restaurants and interesting history. It is a quiet town, a perfect place for a relaxing holiday.

The sea view room was wonderful. The à la carte menu at the restaurant was very tasty. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The spa area was cozy and relaxing. The massage was great.

We had a Standard Double Room with a sea view and a comfortable double bed. Our room was spotless. Breakfast offered choices for different preferences. As a picky eater, I found enough food I could eat. We didn't visit the spa because we had caught a cold, so we spent the evening in the city and enjoyed dinner at a nearby restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay here, thank you!

We loved everything! Pictures actually do not describe the rooms correctly- i think they should make the new ones using proffessial photographer to really describe the vibe. Rooms were cozy and had scandinavian feel in them. Our room had little kitchen where you can make some simple stuff if needed. Staff were so so friendly. Breakfast was simple, but there were meatballs and cinnamon buns, so it was perfect for us.

Room was clean, breakfast was grate and delicious, all stay is excellent and in hotel was quiet

Service was exceptional., We had a special request regarding early breakfast and the staff was very compliant making full breakfast for our small group way before the fixed one.

The staff was extremely friendly and service-oriented. We were travelling by bicycle and all our wishes were heard. We could even wash our bicycles after a very sunny and dusty day in Vormsi island. The breakfast was versatile and there was plenty of different dishes availabe and even a coffee machine with great cappuccino. We really enjoyed our two nights at Kongo hotel.

everything was just excellent, super clean, extra modern, and fabulous location. everything needed for a comfortable stay was there!!! Just couple of things to mention that would make the stay even better: 1) presence of microwave - when traveling with kid it was super needed, but we used an oven instead which took a bit more time and we had to replace the food from one plate to another as it was super hot when we took it out 2) lightning could have been more bright we will definitely come back to those amazing apartments again

Easy to get a key and ready to use even in a short notice. Lovely, cozy, clean and calm design. Very Comfortable mattress, and you can get extra pillows and blanket. Just want to mentioned that we are a bit too tall for that bed (feets touch the end of the bed), but if you are shorter than 2 m, you won't have such a problem :). Very beautiful dishes and glasses. Comfortable couch. A large bathroom. Netflix on TV :) Good location. You can adjust the heat yourself.

A very cozy appartment in the very heart of Haapsalu. Very clean, comfortable and nice to live in. Also equipped with all the necessary stuff for a multi-day stay. We stayed during the winter, but I imagine it would be lovely in summertime for a holiday getaway. Also, I must add that during our stay it was -20 C in the night (appartment was very warm in spite of this), and our car battery died during the night - the host reacted swiftly and helped us with the car, for which we are very grateful.

Beautifully renovated villa, spotless clean and cozy. Just around the corner from all the sights and yet quiet.

Very clean and tidy, modern bathroom and great bed. Central location but still very quiet & peaceful.

Hosts were easy to contact and fast to react. Premises were nice and clean. Bathroom was very nice, very nice shower. Kitchen area was also quite nice. We stayed with two adults and two kids in an apartment (1 bedroom, 1 combined living room/ kitchen/ bedroom for the kids (pull-out couch) which was naturally a bit crammed (but excellent value for money). For two persons definitely spacious enough for staying several nights. The kitchen area had a coffee machine, an electric kettle for tea, a fridge and a stove with two plates. The kitchen definitely suffices for making breakfast or for a simple meal, for more involved cooking there's simply not enough space. But that's not what you are looking for when you consider this apartment.

The rooms are very comfortable. Everything is fresh, clean and cozy. From the window of the 5th apartment you can see a beautiful view of the fortress.

The flat in second floor is big enough for two adults giving a view to two directions. Swimming in a sea lake was possible practically from the door. Bicycles available. In one of the neighboring houses, there were SUP boards for rent. Nice sea lake for that as well.

The Villa Marienholm is an amazing cozy house with multiple rooms, each accommodating between three and four guests. Beds and comfy. We slept very well. Each room has well equipped kitchen with coffee maker, small fridge/freezer, cooktop. There is also a spacious garden with covered sitting area and a small BBQ. Car park, for three cars, is right in front of the house. Keys can be obtained from The host. Alternatively one can pick them up from the lock-box.

The house is really nice, cozy, in a perfect location. I liked a refreshing and warm smell of the pine wood in the entrance. The room was shiny clean, walls, furniture, curtains with beautiful colour combinations. Also there is a fireplace to make the overall stay even more cozy. Exceptional place. Highly recommend for a stay.

I liked the room. I liked bath! It was bad weather outside, but inside was everything perfect. There was also sauna and fireplace. Room was warm and cozy and clean. Host was super friendly.

Lovely wooden house that has been renovated, modern, yet with a sense of times gone by. Exceptionally clean, warm floors were especially nice in winter. Right along a small street but with a view.

The location is amazing and it had one of the best breakfast systems I've encountered - a little shared kitchen space with a coffee machine and a nice selection of breakfast items for grabbing your meal and enjoying it in bed. Our room was very spacious and had a bath, there was a parking spot next to the house and a nice restaurant on the ground floor.

Fresh and state-of-the-art accommodation with a warm touch! A plus was access to a fridge, tea maker and espresso machine where espresso, coffee and tea are included. Superb location in town and nice roof terrace. Good treatment and service. Neat accommodation

The room was modern and very well equipped, also easily accessible. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds ever. The staff was welcoming to meeting the wishes. Generally a very pleasant stay.

This is a newly renovated historic house in the center of town. The room itself is beautifully designed to match the historic house. Fine touches were throughout, so you are staying in a historic yet modern apartment. They were finishing some elements of the remodel in other parts of the house at the time we stayed, but it did not interfere and it was a very nice stay. You are able to walk to the restaurants.

The accomodation was outstanding, it looks exactly as in photos- I love the apartment, it was absolutely gorgeous and super clean and in such a good location. Everyone we communicate with was very helpful and pleasant. We had amazing time in Haapsalu and staying in Villa Funnahof made it even greater experience. Thank you.

The location was perfect, just about 10 minutes to the city centre but still in a very peaceful and quiet neighbourhood, at the seaside. The only small minus was that during hot days the room got stuffy - but taken the very good price I had paid, one could not really expect air conditioning. In cooler weather it should be a perfect room to stay in. Breakfast was for additional fee which was also a good option - quite a number of cafes in the centre offer breakfast yet there is a possibility to eat at the hotel should the weather be bad.

We had the Businessman's Room with a west-facing balcony, with a sea and sunset view, which was fabulous. If you like birds and nature, this is the room for you! The room itself was quite small, but had all facilities, including a useful kettle and fan. Bed was comfortable, shower great and it was quiet. It's in a perfect location, by the water, between the bus station and the old town. Would come again.

This hotel was a great choice. The location is perfect, and the staff is incredibly helpful. Everything was very clean, and the facilities were just as good as they looked in the photos. The breakfast was both delicious and plentiful. I highly recommend this place and would definitely return.

We stayed in The Captain Room. The views of the sea were amazing. The room was bright and warm. Beds were very comfortable. Staff were helpful. It was very quiet too.

We had fantastic time! It was like staying at your friend's or relatives house; you can use everything in the kitchen, also the sauna and the bikes! The host, Koit, is a kind gentleman and was always willing to help. We also met other travellers there and enjoyed nice conversations with them. At this price it is obviously not a luxury stay, the house is old but cozy. This place is perfect for those hoping to meet local people and have authentic experience.

Spacious, comfortable house. When we arrived it wqs very, very clean. There is also a GIABTNT jaccuci which nobody seem to mention. Last but not least, the guy running the place is super, super frienldy and relaxed.

This was a God send for us as we had had a very long and wet day cycling and were late arriving. The host has very little English but we managed fine as she was very friendly and helpful. This is essentially someone's house and the host was adamant that we make ourselves at home and use the kitchen and whatever we wanted. It was a nice cultural experience and a good way to see what it is like in these big wooden houses that are all over Estonia. There were other people staying there and there was a shared bathroom but it felt quite private and was very comfortable.

It’s a very unique place, in fact a former Baltic German manor of the 19th Century, surrounded with history and a beautiful environment as well as a rather diverse wildlife. It is ideal for those want to watch birdies or just simply wish to hide from everyday life. The landlord as well as the landlady are very kind and helpful, the breakfast was also delicious.

Very central place, delicious special breakfast, the first place in my European travel history where breakfast coffee tasted like very good and strong coffee

A proper warm breakfast made specially for us was a welcome bonus and sweetened the deal, especially since the place is also a well known family restaurant. The room had some nice antique furniture, and the whole place has a cozy vibe that makes you feel welcome. At the same time, it is well maintained and you get your privacy and basic amenities like separate bathroom and air conditioner. There were no issues with cleanliness, and the water pressure of the shower was very good. The location couldn't be better.

The location of the hotel is just perfect: in the middle of the city just next to the castle. The rooms are very beautiful: it feels like you were staying at your grandma's place. The staff is extremely nice and the home-made breakfast just amazing (there was fresh bread, which was still warm + homemade omelette still dizzling and an amazing applejuice). I would definitely recommend staying there.

Absolutely 'outside the box' accommodation - makes you feel that everything around you is vintage and you can let your imagination fly. Our room was spotless clean and as we hoped (in February) very quiet too. Breakfast is stunning, as Estonian as it only could be! Including home baked bread and juice etc. Honestly breakfast itself is worth a stay!

Very clean and quiet, so it's the perfect choice if you want to get away the noise of everyday life in big cities We stayed with our dog, and the receptionist offered bowls and a blanket for him, which pleasantly surprised us :) The parking offers plenty of space, which is nice. There is also a charger for two electric cars

The bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked fine. The nicest aspect was the person I dealt with during check-in and for breakfast. She let me check in early so I could go sightseeing. She had breakfast ready when I arrived in the dining room. On the second day she adapted the breakfast to what she'd noticed the day before about what I ate and what I skipped. That was so kind and considerate.

Absolutely excellent location close to everything relevant in the town (there's even a public library next door). Good food, nice quiet people, clean rooms, comfy beds, strong and reliable wifi, A lot of interesting art in the café. I was there for a music festival and it was probably the best possible choice, would like to repeat next year.

I always pick this place when coming for the yearly Old Music Festival. First of all, because it is 5-15 minutes away from every venue by foot. Most of the places interesting me are nearby: museums, galleries, parks; even city library is right next door. The house is nice, food is nice, there is an outdoor area, and people are nice. It is a small place, hence also flexible: if anything is not according to someone's expectations, talk to the staff and it can be arranged. Indeed, some features might not suit everyone: the rooms are on the second floor and there is no elevator. (It would be pointlessly expensive to build one in a small, historical house.) But I can manage it while limping on a walking stick, so it's not that bad. Also, the hygiene facilities are communal, yet as there are not many people, it is not really a problem.
