The flat is located right in central of old town so you can do all by foot. lots of restaurants, bars and shopping really close by. By the river so you have a nice view and in a small street so quiet. The flat was cute and clean will all you need for your stay. beds were comfortable and the big shower perfect. Easy to find the place with the host explanation and easy to get the keys. underground and payable parking are availalbe 2 minutes walk Hightly recommanded

The location was great, right next to the old bridge so the view is lovely, as is the little patio area out the back. The castle and high street are also nearby which is convenient though I would avoid Excelsior. The bed was comfortable though the duvet and pillows kept coming out of the cases, shower is a great size with large shower head, water pressure could be better. Sofa is comfortable, we pulled it out into a bed to lounge on while watching TV one evening, was lovely. Overall a lovely apartment to stay in, had no trouble while there and walked to anywhere nearby we needed to go.

Great location, all the sights, restaurants and shops in the old town right on the door step and beautiful views of the river and bridge from our room. A few small toiletries (shampoo, shower gel) and hairdryer provided. Also small amount of supplies in kitchen (jams, milk, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets). Comfortable beds and on the whole apartment was really nice. Would highly recommend if you are looking to stay in Heidelberg old town.

We stayed at Hotel Mack travelling through to Italy. We felt like we’d fallen lucky on arrival as it was one of the nicest looking hotels and was on the outskirts of the centre, however close enough to walk to restaurants and shops. The room was superb, a family suite with loads of room and really clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a luxury and again, tons of room with a great shower, good lighting and very clean. Breakfast was simple and brilliant quality, they are fantastic with eggs!!! The stand out highlight was the service, from the welcome from the owner to the team in the dining room, such warm and welcoming hosts, incredibly friendly, courteous but with professionalism, you are welcomed to take refreshments from the minibar and leave a note to let them know what you owe, this restores such faith in mankind and it was lovely to experience people have such a level of trust and mutual respect. All naturally Covid secure and it felt safe. We would recommend this and we will certainly be returning here to explore the area. It’s made our long journey a pleasurable part of our holiday.

very beautiful building and rooms, nicely furnished with two comfortable armchairs and with a spacious desk. Bed were comfortable and we had access to a balcony (but did not use it). Bathroom was very nice with a large and comfortable shower (I really loved the shower!). Breakfast was delicious and fresh prepared. Staff was accommodating and helpful. Because reception is only staffed until 7pm, late check in is a little complicated but worked well. There is no fridge in the room, but a large common refrigerator downstairs where one can take what one needs and write it down to be put on the room.

We stayed here for one night, picking the hotel mainly because it was recommended by the box office of the Nationaltheater as being situated close by. The location was perfect for our opera visit and also for an extensive walk the next morning in the beautiful Louisenpark (a cross between a botanical garden and a zoo) close by. A brisk 10-minute walk had us back in the main railway station when it was time to leave. The hotel is a delightful, almost time-warp, establishment reminding us of visits to Germany fifty years ago and more. We booked a 'modernised' room at euro 117 incl. breakfast (a totally satisfactory buffet). Our 4th floor bedroom had ample hanging and shelf space in the cupboards and a comfortable bed. There was an easy-to-use safe as well, sensibly located at eye height (no need to lie flat on the floor to operate it as is often the case). Our bathroom had an excellent shower, good lighting and plenty of shelf space for toiletries, a rare luxury in modern hotels. Had one had a great deal of luggage, the lift's stopping on a half landing might have been an issue, but we did not find this inconvenient. Help would presumably also been forthoming if one could not handle one's own suitcase - all the receptionists we encountered were obliging and friendly.

The quiet city hotel is characterized by its very comfortable beds, a fast WiFi network and a good breakfast, especially the scrambled eggs are very tasty due to the spices and herbs used. There is also fresh fruit and fruit salad. In front of the house there are free parking places, I found one at 5.30pm in the evening without any problems. A air condition/heating system is available and can be controlled individually. According to a frequent guest, the hotel is always very well booked, a thing that does not surprise me considering the very good price-performance ratio.

We had a great stay at this hotel. It was spotlessly clean, and the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. The hotel seems to be family-run, and during our stay, the owners—two brothers—were personally taking care of the reception, which added a very warm and welcoming touch. They seemed genuinely passionate about providing a good experience. The location is also very convenient, just a few minutes from the city center and easy to reach. Highly recommended for a clean, friendly, and well-located stay.

Each and every staff member I talked to was exceptionally friendly, really they went out of their way to make the stay nice and pleasant. Big and relaxing sauna and wellness area, super breakfast both the room and the food and drink arrangements, very nice and spacious hotel rooms with garden views, coffee, tea and complementary mini bar.

I recently stayed at Hotel Villa Toskana for one night and had an overall pleasant experience. The hotel’s location is fantastic—convenient yet peaceful, making it a perfect spot for a quick getaway. The service was excellent, with staff being attentive and welcoming throughout my stay. A highlight was the Silvester dinner, which, while a bit pricey, was absolutely worth it. The menu was thoughtfully curated, and the ambiance was delightful, making it a memorable way to celebrate the evening.

The Room was very clean and spacious. The Spa was excellent but the real treat is the bar and restaurant. Simply excellent food. Great staff and all in a great place to stay.

The apartment was spacious, comfortable and very clean. It was about 15 minute walk from the railway station and then another 15 minutes or so to the centre of town which made it a good place to have as a base. It was very modern inside but also had a 'quaint' feel which made it seem quite unique. It was quiet even though it was reasonably close to a shopping area. The beds were comfy and the shower easy to use.

Everything about this property is perfect - location, size, cleanliness and amenities. The owner is very helpful, and caring. The apartment is at a perfect location. It has a nice parking space, that is just along the house. The apartment is very spacious with beautiful design, fully equipped, it's extremely comfortable and exceptionally clean! The apartment was spacious and exceptionally clean. The bedroom was very comfortable and the kitchen facilities were perfect! The apartment is in a very accessible part of the city and the ground floor where we stayed only required a few small steps to arrive at the front door- very good for people who can't manage floors of stairs while carrying heavy suitcases. The decoration in the apartment is also lovely- so a very place to stay and only a short walk to the centre of the city.

Spacious, clean and quiet with convenient parking. The basement washing machine and dryer is a plus.

The views were spectacular! Room 20 main building was our favorite! Garden and jacuzzi access with castle views was a bonus. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Extra bonus, we had central AC for the beautiful but very warm Fall season visit. Reserve a parking space if you have a car, as parking is limited!

We stayed 3 days at the hotel in room 5 on the second floor. The room had a small balcony tucked up against the side of the property with zero view, but was fine for a drink. The main room faced the courtyard, so while there was no real view it was light. The courtyard was mostly quiet when we were there and the only detraction of the location (other than the lack of view) was cigarette smoke wafting up from below. The room was very large and suited our family of 4 well. It would have been quite luxurious for two. As with other guests, we all found the breakfast lacking, particularly for the quality of the hotel. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is across the street from the river and a short walk to the old bridge to the heart of the old town. Close enough, but not too close. We visited the local "castle," the old town and on the recommendation of the concierge one of the neighborhoods close by and the ruins of castles in Neckarsteinach, a 15km bike ride away along the river. We also ate at one of the restaurants recommended to us, a real local neighborhood beer garden. We can't say enough about how well we were treated by the staff, but in particular by the hostess/concierge, Melanie. If she is there when you visit, you will be well taken care of.

I chose this hotel because it is very close proximity to the hub of everything you really want to see in Heidelberg and has been rated very well. From the minute we pulled into the small courtyard we were treated very well and greeted with smiles and courteous demeanor. This is a very nice place to stay and well worth the cost. We have stayed in hotels across Europe and this is in the top 3 over the last 3 years and countless trips. Pros - Very clean, very friendly staff, GREAT location to see the sights. Good food for the free breakfast buffet. Deserves a high rating. Comfortable bed and nice linens. Bathroom is relatively large for such a small room. There is even a tub that fits two people nicely. There is a kitchenette that has a nice Nespresso coffee machine and the non-alcoholic drinks are complimentary. It was over 100 degrees out and the room had a portable A/C unit that worked flawlessly. We were very thankful for that. Valet parking is on par with the average price you will pay across Europe. They are very careful with your car and luggage. Cons - There are very few. We couldn't figure out how to use the shower that has a very large rain shower head. Probably user error but we turned all the knobs. I don't know. Sometimes the traffic during the day can be heard from the street to include night life goers walking by.

Excellent hotel in a stunning position high above the rhine. Room was expensive but a good size, nice en-suite and with a stunning view. Everything was very good and we enjoyed our short stay there. There were two problems: 1 On trying to book the restaurant on arrival in the early afternoon we were told it was fully booked unless we were after 9pm. This was a shock given we were residents and given the remoteness of the hotel. 2 On asking to have tea on the terrace to enjoy the lovely sunny day and the views we were told it was not possible as the terrace was closed due to some rain in the morning. This was very poor as the sun had been shining for hours. Point 1 was eventually resolved and we were given a dinner reservation at a convenient time. And the food was very nice. Point 2 was not resolved and my view is that if a resident wants tea on the terrace then that is what they get irrespective of whether it may have been rainy earlier in the day. Management need to review such policies.

We had business in Dusseldorf but took a one night trip to Heidelberg prior. Everyone at the hotel was extremely accommodating and helpful with suggestions on things to do and made a dinner reservation for us. The hotel is within walking distance of everything in town and even on a really chilly evening, the walking was fine. Best to leave your vehicle parked at the hotel since parking is at a premium. The room was nicely decorated with a lovely view of the river and castle. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. The robes were quite cozy! Note: There is an additional charge for cleaning if you use the kitchen in the room. We very much enjoyed the complimentary breakfast which included made to order eggs. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel

Well located, about 1000 metre walk to the beginning of the old town. Lidl was close by. The Jacuzzi in the bathroom gives good relaxation after a tiring day ! On a warm day, the coordinator bought us a brand new fan to cool off!

This appartment is very well situated, close to the city centre so we were able to walk daily to discover the city. The kitchen is well equiped with everything you might need as a family travelling with children. The bathroom is spacious with a nice jacuzzi bathtub which was very appreciated by the kids. The appartment has a nice terrace with a nice urban view.

We loved this very nice, very clean and well-furnished apartment in Heidelberg - it was comfortable and spacious. The manager was super helpful and always responded quickly to requests. The location is very good too - close to the bus/tram stop and close to Altstadt. There are many restaurants/ shops/ playgrounds nearby so our family of four had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend this apartment!

The hotel is beautifully appointed, the staff are all friendly and extremely professional and attentive. Bed was incredibly comfortable, dinner was excellent, and the breakfast buffet incredible! We were delighted to meet the owner/manager Dr Caroline von Kretschmann and be able to listen to her philosophy and history of the hotel. What a personal touch! The attention to detail was amazing - every room a fresh flower, hallways with fresh flowers. Beautiful antiques mixed with modern comforts. And I loved that they had a cute little rubber duckie in the bathroom 😃

We enjoyed the attention to details. From the moment of arrival to the flowers in every room. The room was more elegant than expected with fabulous beds, linens and fresh flowers. Housekeeping was quick to respond to any request, and the room was very clean. The restaurant waitstaff was exceptional, the food was delicious. We were going to do the 3 course menu but after the first course changed our minds and added a 4th course due the the fact it was so good. The bar is cozy and elegant. The spa facility was just what we were looking for after sightseeing around Heidelberg. We used the Sauna as well as the pool. we look forward to returning

The hotel staff are amazing and the lobby area is beautiful and care and attention has been paid to every detail. The rooms are old but comfortable. The air conditioning in our room did not work so the room was very warm at night. Also, although the room was very clean the drapery near the ceiling in the living room had a large spider web that had not been cleaned. The bar staff (Felix in particular) are amazing, helpful and very friendly. You cannot beat the location of this hotel. My family and I will definitely be back.

Well, what's not to like about the Europäischer Hof? It is simply a luxurious hotel with a Michelin restaurant. Everything about the hotel was super. And, it should be for the price. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was beautiful. We arrived on Christmas Eve and had a fixed course to menu Christmas Eve dinner in their restaurant. It was scrumptious. The service was outstanding, the food was divine, and the setting was perfect. I can't think of one complaint that I would have about this property.

Hotel with lots of tradition, very nice welcome, nicely decorated (pre-Christmas). Rooms well kept and clean. Excellent breakfast, the Bircher Müesli is home-made and excellent, like everything else at breakfast. Very attentive staff, and the senior owner looks after everything. We also had a dinner in the Kurfürstenstube. Just perfect! Very good wine suggestions which accompanied the amazing dishes well. Here again very good service by everyone. Thank you to the whole team for a very nice pre-Christmas treat.

Very nice, modern and clean hotel in the excellent location, close to bakeries, bars and restaurants, and 15 min walk to Heidelberg's old town. On Saturdays there is a farmers market in a small square across from the hotel, which is worth visiting. The room was a good size and beds were comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff.

This hotel went beyond our expectations. The location, the staff, the rooms, the view, the service, everything is impecable and beyond what we thought (and read) it would be. Front desk: very friendly staff. They welcomed us with a tea while we waited for our room to be ready. The room: 10 points with an exceptional view to the cute square in front of the hotel. Walking distance from the city center. Breakfast: supreme. We could even get some sandwiches for our way back home and they also gave us a voucher with a complimentary drink (tea, coffee, beer) to take at any time with us. And the cherry on top: they gave us a souvenir (mug) to take home with us. For sure an experience we will remember! Thank you Rafaela hotel for the beautiful experience in Heidelberg!

The hotel is run by very professional and friendly staff who were willing to even adapt my booking to suit changes in my schedule. It is ideally situated with easy access to the old city, and University Hospital. In a quiet area with good restaurant's and public transport. Easy accessible parking in close proximity to the hotel. Modern spacious rooms and lounge areas to just sit and enjoy a bottle of wine or work. Highly recommended!!

Great location in a peaceful neighbourhood but at a walking distance from Altstadt and the big public trabsport network from Birmarkplatz. Everything is just perfect: cozy beds and bedlinen, great shower, some of the rooms with views. Helpful reception people.

SPECTACULAR hotel in every way! Sparkling water available at registration, beautiful lounge/ restaurant area as soon as you walk in, gorgeous flower arrangements, comfortable, interesting seating and decorations. A popular outdoor area along the Rhine River. Modern , clean room and bathroom with robes and comfortable bed and bedding. Great breakfast ! Great small bites for dinner and a good wine selection . I’m a hiker.. there was a path along the Rhine River right from the hotel to the Wald Park.. a huge forested park! The staff was so welcoming and always answered my request with a “ yes”! This hotel is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in years. And I travel a lot. Hated to leave!

Travelling a lot, I found this hotel to be exceptional. The room was spacious and gorgeous, with a very individual touch and definitely different from your average hotel room. Decorations are beautiful but not sterile, the bed was extremely comfortable and the appliances well thought of. I liked the location with view onto the river, and the cosy and relaxed atmosphere in the bar. The price is on the higher side but definitely worth it and I will certainly stay there again on a future road trip.

Beautiful hotel by the harbor with a great tapas restaurant. It’s also a lovely spot for drinks with good music and a great vibe. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Our two-year-old had a wonderful time as well. The staff is especially kind to children. The hotel smells amazing and is beautifully decorated. We had a room with a view of the water, which was just stunning. You can also book yoga in the morning, which we unfortunately didn’t get to try, but it’s a nice option! We would love to return.

I only stayed one night while driving through the country, so I did not expect to enjoy it so much! The facility is beautiful, with free parking and a nice little garden in the back, located just in front of the wonderful castle gardens. It is in walking distance of the town center, which I also enjoyed very much. The rooms are very comfy, clean and super nice. The staff is very corteous and helpful, and provided free access to the castle gardens, which I appreciated a lot. Very good breakfast also.

Albeit a small room, it was 5 stars amenities and cleanliness. Qtip, cotton, nail file, a bottle of water, little snack, kettle, teabags and instant coffee, chocolate bar, safe, towel warmer, makeup mirror and even slippers and earplugs!!! There’s a honor system minibar in the hallway so you can get drinks 24/7 too

Great location, comfortable setting, impeccable cleanliness and hospitable staff. We loved staying at this hotel. It is so peaceful and has such a convenient location. We relaxed the moment we arrived. Arthotel has such a convenient and safe location, just a few steps from a beautiful shopping and dining district and adjacent to a university. Everything is an easy walk away. Every morning we loved walking to a nearby bakery and restaurant. Our room and bathroom were spacious and neat as a pin. It truly felt like a retreat from the bustle. All of the furnishings and mechanicals were new. And we can’t say enough about the staff. Kira showed us to our rooms and was knowledgeable and so very welcoming. Elli helped us find a great restaurant and was always ready to answer our questions. Every staff member was on their A game. This hotel will be at the top of our list if and when we return to Heidelberg.

Fabulous central location, close to a grocery shop, restaurants etc. Walkable distance to all the attractions we visited, so saved on public transport. The rooms are very generous, immaculately clean, toiletries of good quality are provided as well a bottles of sparkling water. Staff were helpful and curtious. Didn't have breakfast or dinner at the hotel, so can't review that. Hotel is not cheap but you get what you pay for, i.e. a bit of luxury. Would stay there again and recommend to friends and family.

We are so glad we choose this hotel it was excellent. All the staff are professional and really friendly from the lady receptionist to the guy cleaning rooms to the guy we met at breakfast who seemed to be the manager. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was immaculate with comfortable beds. We were unsure about booking the breakfast but were so glad we did. There was a great range of food and the omelettes cooked to order were delicious. The parking and central location were great. We couldn’t fault it. It isn’t cheap but we felt it was worth it.

Gorgeous hotel in the centre of Altstadt. It was easy to reach by public transport. The staff were helpful and wanted to make sure our stay went well. The room was excellent - spacious, clean, comfortable. You couldn't hear anything outside, except the church bells, which I really liked. The breakfast had lots of choice and excellent coffee. It was really helpful to be able to leave our luggage after check out. Would definitely stay again.

Bathroom looked like a brand new remodel (I like a hotel with bathtub and shower separated like that). 2 min walk to the action (bars, restaurants, cafes, shops). Staff very friendly and accommodating. Parking onsite (make sure and reserve when you reserve your room). Big room...hardwood floors...very accommodating and comfortable. Will stay again for sure over the Marriott Heidelberg I used to stay at (dated)

Panorama is across the road from the Neckar and about 15-20 minutes along the river or up the main shopping street to the central square - its a lovely walk along the riverside. We had booked parking in advance at 12 euro per night - think it's advised to book - and parked right outside. Room was large and a very modern bathroom - room faced river - great views of river and forest beyond. Water in room which was welcome after long journey. Breakfast was amazing - large platters of fresh fruit, plus all the usual cheeses / veg / eggs etc. - managed to get a seat overlooking the river! Hotel has a small bar, only about 10 seats, and we had a drink there both nights when we got back from the town - the night porter / barman was attentive and busy - lovely spot to sit at the end of long days

During my last stay in Heidelberg, I stayed at an American chain and was less than impressed. This time, I was coming for a medical appointment at ATOS and this place is literally next door. For the price, location, and the breakfast, I could almost give the Hotel Panorama a five. It was a tough call. Check in was very easy. I requested a parking space and the staff saved one right out front making this even easier. The room was quite large with a comfortable sitting area and a balcony. I had a balcony with a view of the Neckar River. The room was also very clean. The bar is very quaint. They sell beer and wine to take up to the room. I was very impressed with the breakfast buffet and made to order eggs. Even after checking out, they offered a coffee to go station. All in all, I was oleasantly surprised by how much I liked this place. I was a bit anxious about my medical appointment so the ease, comfort, and kindness of the staff made this a great trip. I will definitely come back here.

The hotel was fantastic and the stay was perfect. The hotel's design is elegant and the location is ideal. Everything was clean and organized, and the hotel gives you a warm and comfortable feeling. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Klouse and Gernet helped us a lot and were always smiling. We really enjoyed our stay here! The location was top notch — literally steps from the train station, which made getting around super easy. And despite being so close, it was incredibly quiet inside, which was a huge bonus. The space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s the perfect spot whether you're staying short-term or longer. Would definitely book again and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Excellent hotel to stay at for Time Warp. 50m from the train station. Funky, hip restaurant with good food and better cocktails. Super stylish. Giant breakfast selection. Honour bar for the floor, nice touch. Staff all together and helpful when needed. Good size room...if not a little boring, but nice. Shutters are the best thing ever!

This hotel has an outstanding setting. Being on a mountainside above Heidelberg, the views are so very impressive! We arrived at the hotel in the late evening and we really appreciated how friendly the staff was and how they called the restaurant to wait for us so we could have dinner there before they closed. It was so thoughtful of them! We had a beautiful room with a great view as well as a mountain view room for our kids. The rooms are well appointed and tastefully updated. We only wish we could have stayed here longer. The forest surrounding the hotel is just gorgeous. The restaurant was delicious and the breakfast had many options which was very convenient for our family.

Room with an amazing view. We had a balcony. The restaurant we had dinner and it was very good. As well as breakfast buffet. To had read on line the breakfast buffet was expensive for what it was but we were very pleased. The rooms appear to be newly renovated in the past couple of years. I highly recommend the property to any visiting the Black Forest .

Super comfy beds and a spacious room with a balcony and a large shower! The buffet-style breakfast was nice and offered a wide variety of choices. There is paid on-site parking at the hotel, or a free parking lot right next to it. There’s also a restaurant on-site called “Aunt Polly”, which offers lunch, drinks, and dinner options with views of the mountains.

Perfect location although it’s far away from the town. Everything makes you feel cosy and feel the warm atmosphere. Perfect dinner perfect breakfast. Perfect view. Perfect staff. An experience no one should miss.

Konigstuhl is the city mountain of Heidelberg. This restaurant is located directly at the Bergbahn station Konigstuhl. You have lovely views down to the city and you can walk around the Area. The restaurant was completely full and most of the guests were tourists. I ordered a mushrom risotto with a small green salad. The salad was fresh and tasty. The risotto was also very delicious. Together with a coke and an Espresso for 32,90€. The prices are not cheap, but you pay for the location, too.There is no other restaurant there.

Beautiful, clean room and welcoming, helpful staff. The location of the hotel is superb, central downtown. We came rather late and did not find parking, but very kind and considerate staff helped us in finding parking pritty quickly.

Great breakfast buffet (omelets etc.). WiFi worked well. Room was spacious. Very good location: just a few steps from the station (for easy access) and yet only a 5-10 minute walk into the heart of the city. Can recommend for anybody traveling through or visiting the day for a few days for any purpose.

Perfect location right by the train station and close to a tram station with trams going to all the major attractions in Mannheim. Large, modern rooms with comfortable beds, delicious breakfast buffet, and friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Mannheim!

Stayed here for one night in late June 2024 to attend a concert at SAP Arena. The hotel is right across from the central train station in Mannheim which makes it a very convenient location. Being a Hilton Honors gold member they included breakfast in the stay. There is a restaurant/bar on site and also a snack shop that were open until about midnight. The room was clean with plenty of space. it was very warm weather in Mannheim and the A/C air conditioning worked great. Mannheim has plenty of public transit - took the S train one stop to SAP Arena plus there is an RNV tram that runs throughout the city. If you are catching a DB train it is only 5-10 minute walk from the hotel so very convenient.

We spent 5 nights on the 11th floor, in a corner room (thank you for accommodating our request)! The rooms are clean & comfortable, with all the needed amenities, and a nice shower. The view was spectacular! The room had 4 windows! It is right across the street from the train station, but you don't hear any noise. Public transportation is right there. About a 5 minute walk to the Christmas markets, and the shopping district. Breakfast has a large selection, and is quite good. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic. This was our 5th stay on our yearly vacation. We have nothing negative to say.

This place was outstanding! It is located in the older, and quiet, part of Schriesheim, exactly what I was looking for. However, the room was modern and very comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty, with fresh meats, cheeses, vegetables, fruit, and breads. The staff was VERY friendly. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We stopped here as it was half way on our journey and had everything we wanted: free spacious parking nearby and a short drive to Heidelberg. (It is also connected to the main city by tram.) The room we had was like a small apartment and quite comfortable, very clean and relatively quiet despite the proximity to the street. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was plenty of choice at breakfast.

Breakfast is excellent. So many different things to choose from. Fresh bagels, breads, croissants from the local bakery. Variety of cheeses, meats, vegetables, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, honey, jams, milk, juices and many other things. They do have boiled eggs at the breakfast table, but one can order them scrambled or any other way. Teas are at the breakfast table as well, coffee is being served by the breakfast stuff in a pot, but they do make espresso and any other kind by request.

The hotel is in a really good location (on the edge of the Altstadt) and is a cut above the typical German hotel. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had with a wide range of options. There was the regular items one typically sees in a German restaurant (Brötchen, Marmalade, Müsli, Brot) as well as a selection of fruits (pineapple, blueberries, grapes) and more savory items, There was a variety of cheeses (including mozzarella and parmesan), meats (smoked or raw ham), wursts, eggs, variety of lachs or other fish choices, tomatoes (sun dried or natural) as well as cappuccino and regular coffee. There was also a selection of juices. The young woman at the front desk was very helpful and the breakfast attendant was very efficient and pleasant. The room was elegant and the entire hotel had a number of unique touches (marble tables and comfy chairs in public areas). The hotel also allowed us to stow our luggage. Overall a very nice and welcoming experience.

The location couldn’t have been better, right at the start of the Altstadt yet located in a quiet ally road that ensures one a quiet rest at night. The room is spacious and clean, with tiles of vibrant colors in the toilet/ shower rooms. From the list of all the available service one could feel strongly that the hotel is very willing to satisfy all sorts of needs of their guests. The breakfast is superb, from order-able scrambled eggs or omelette, to the widest selection of fruits I could ever dream of.

The room was clean and very quiet, with excellent air-conditioning. Wonderful location within reasonable walking distance from the train station and the Old Town (Altstadt), Heidelberg castle, Old Bridge, museums, etc. The included breakfast buffet had plenty of tasty choices. Staff cheerfully provided coffee, cappuccinos and, if requested, omelets from the kitchen. We would definitely stay here again.

Friendly girl at the check-in. Multiple tv-channels in English. Clean room, big bathroom, comfy bed. There was also free water, tea and coffee in the room. Airconditioning was welcome. The breakfast was ok, bar on the 6th floor with an open terrace. Direct in the city center. Big parking garage with a dedicated space for the hotel, easy in and out even with a bigger car.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful and truly memorable. From the moment we arrived, the staff were helpful, pleasant, and made us feel very welcome. I also really appreciated the complimentary Sekt at the reception desk and the fact that the receptionists spoke both German and English, which made communication seamless. The room was spotless, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the addition of robes and slippers was a lovely touch that added to the overall comfort. The bathroom was especially impressive—modern, chic, and beautifully designed. One of the highlights of our stay was the rooftop bar. It had a great atmosphere and we were lucky enough to catch a fireworks display while enjoying our evening drinks—an unforgettable experience. The hotel’s location was excellent, making it easy to explore the area. All in all, a fantastic stay. We would definitely return!

This is a wonderful hotel, the staff are so welcoming and helpful. Spotlessly clean and very well decorated rooms. We had a great night's sleep, very quite, sound proofed rooms. Breakfast was lovely too. When you book to stay here try to book a meal for the Italian Restaurant next door, fabulous food, freshly made and really lovely staff. You can book the restaurant through the staff at the hotel.it is very reasonably priced too. All round great place, very handy for the motorway. We would definitely stay here again.

Staff was very friendly, and room was spacious and had great AC and a small balcony to sit at and enjoy the fresh air in the evening. Breakfast was a you would expect in Germany: cold cuts, some bacon and scrambled eggs, cereals and choice of 6 yogurts. It's a bit outside the city of Heidelberg, but if a fridge and AC and modern convenience for a great price is important to you, this is the place!

We were passing through on our way to Budapest and we enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were appealing and clean. Breakfast was plenty and delicious. There is also a restaurant on the premises - unfortunately, it was closed on the night we stayed there but it looked like a lovely place to eat. The staff was welcoming and friendly.

The hotel is located directly next to Heidelberg main station. It’s inside the new quarter Bahnstadt with a lot of new modern buildings. This area is nice but around 20-25 min footwalk away from the oldtown and the castle. Especially in the evening it’s far away from these nice restaurants and bars in the oldtown. The hotel is also located inside a new modern and stylish building. The room was big, modern and comfortable with a nice view. The continental breakfast was very good and the staff was friendly.

Heidelberg's ATLANTIC Hotel gave you a 5 star feel for a 3 star price! It is situated right near the main train station, but extremely quiet! I appreciated being away from the hustle of old town, but with the bus stop just steps away from the Hotel's entrance, it was easy to get both there and the Heidelberg Castle. The 15th floor restaurant was a little pricey, but the food was delicious and the fine dining atmosphere was relaxing. Service was excellent! The front desk staff were helpful and professional. As for the room, AC worked well, bed and pillows comfortable, and shower had nice water pressure. I would definitely stay there again.

A modern,stylish hotel,beautifully curated. Friendly,but professional staff.Debora inthe breakfast room was super. Breakfast was very good indeed,with an egg chef waiting for your choice.We sat onthe terrace at night with a drink. The views high above the still developing outskirts of old Heidelburg,and across to the Neckar valley were so interesting.Must across the square is the Congress Centre. We walked a lot and looked at other charming neighbourhoods,but a fairly long walk would get you to the riverside,Plenty of trams and buses,though. The room was very comfortable,bathroom super.

Brand new hotel, good gym, very well designed and comfortable room, bed very comfortable, liked the breakfast and the restaurant area in general especially the terrace with great views. Also a cigar smoking room on the top floor. All the staff very helpful and friendly.. Quite far from the main tourist attractions but very well connected with buses and trams, or about a 20 min walk.

Located right outside of the main train station, the views from our room and from the rooftop restaurant were beautiful, the beds were really comfortable and provided a restful sleep (it was quiet throughout the night as well), the breakfast options were delicious - shoutout to Déborah who was exceptionally friendly and greeted us with a smile every morning :) We enjoyed everything! ;)

The staff were really friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Could do with AirCon, but there was a fan in the room that was quiet and kept the air flowing. Breakfast was amazing, outdoor seating in the morning was a perfect way to start the day.

Everything was just perfect-from the check-in procedure to the rooms-to the restaurant- But most and foremost the staff. So friendly and warm-not what you would expect from Germans normally. Everything. The employees were very friendly. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was heaven, everything you could wish for. The 4 stars well earned. Also the hotel was stylish and they help you whenever you can, we arrived late and did not booked for the restaurant and they manages to get us seats. The restaurant is highly recommended, fine healthy food.

This was my second stay at the Vorfelder Hotel, and I plan to return on my next trip to Walldorf. The room was spacious and well-equipped. Even though I was given a room in the basement, it felt very comfortable, with adequate natural light. The breakfasts are simply amazing! (And I've stayed at least four other hotels in the area.) I also enjoyed the sauna one evening, which was a wonderful touch. Last but not least, the staff is outstanding—super friendly and highly professional.

Lovely hotel nearby SAP HQ in Walldorf. Spacious parking lot, attentive and careful staff, excellent service and atmosphere during breakfast. I enjoyed the food selection, coffee variety, and fresh fruit and juices. We used this hotel as a base of operations to visit Heidelberg and Speyer, and it was located perfectly for that purpose.

Hotel was clean, comfortable, spacious rooms. Breakfast was amazing, choice of home made cooked breakfast served at the table, along with cereals, breads, fresh fruits, so much lunch wasn't needed. Friendly helpful host. If travelling by train it was so easy , bus straight from the station to near the door and return bus was just across the road. Central to the old town, 10 minute walk.

An amazing breakfast with so much choise that it hardly fitted on the table, very gracefully served at the table by the extremely kind host, who was happy and the perfect host.. absolutely top marks for the service level in the hotel, and it is perfectly situated close to the old city and next to an amazing italian restaurant, which is also highly recommended. Excellent service on all levels, very nice and spotless room and helpful staff, which also helped with a call for a taxi, when we had to leave. Highly recommended and we would love to come back to lovely Heidelberg again... thanks a lot...

10 out of 10 fantastic service & rooms. Our family had 3 rooms here for the Christmas Markets and all 3 rooms were unique and fabulous - truly original, comfortable and spacious. Some had patios or a separate sitting room as well, which were nice surprises! The owners were a total joy - so helpful and friendly, and they make a homemade breakfast that is exceptional. It had the warm atmosphere of a B&B with rooms at a luxury hotel. I will always stay here during future visits!

Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Good position for exploring the old town, little more than five minutes walk and you're in the Hauptstrasse. I had a room on the top floor, quite spacious and comfortable. Quiet enough for sleeping, as long as I kept the window closed (though the air got a little stale during the night, easily fixed by a quick airing in the morning). The breakfast spread was ample and good, with eggs made to order. Cosy breakfast room.

Located close to the Alt Stadt this is hotel is ideal for a visit to Heidelberg. We had a lovely spacious clean room with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful with homemade jams and lovely fresh local bread rolls, meat and cheese selection and lovely eggs. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

The double room we had was a large size with a little balcony for fresh air. Shutters on the window and door to block the street noise. Location was a short walk from the station and the main mall and restaurant areas. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided was outstanding. There was a bar available for drinks and a nice outside area to sit.

Location close to station was excellent, and also a pleasant walk from the Baroque schloss. Service was friendly and efficient. Room was a good size, bathroom ditto. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Breakfast was delightful- service at table set with white linen, fresh flowers, eggs cooked to our request, delicious food, good freshly brewed coffee. Reception staff were happy to look after our luggage for the morning before we caught our train.
