Outstanding views from the room. Cosy dining room with outstanding regional menu. Subtropical plants envelope the bar verandah. Staff wonderful, recovered and returned our left-behind library book.

We stayed for one night on our way from Malaga to Madrid. The hotel experience was like a travel in time, but in a good way. Facilities made an castle vibe. Room basic but somehow charming, perfect for a short stay. Amazing service that made us feel like at home, kind and caring. Everything was spotless clean and delicious food. Parking under a roof, easy in, easy out, with security camera. We left bags strapped to our motorcycle over night. Many thanks!

Excellent restaurant, first class food and very friendly staff who let our dog come into the restaurant for some cool air. In general, the staff were so very helpful, could speak better English than our Spanish and couldn't be more friendly.

Loved it! Super friendly and the restaurant was truly exceptional. Amazing views, completely original menu and the best cheesecake in the world. Liked it so much that I'm back there tomorrow to share it with my wife!

The grounds were well maintained. And the breakfast was excellent--all I had to do was ask, and I received! Very enjoyable and relaxing. The decor of the hotel is absolutely beautifully artistic--a reason I look for this type of hotel (with character and thoughtful attention to detail).

The location and the surroundings are really amazing. We loved the nature, the river and the climate. The rooms were really nice and clean. The food was wonderful and the service was great. Especially the owner and Juan really made sure we had everything we needed. Everyday we were welcomed and served with a smile and we truly had a wonderful time.

They prepared a delicious dinner and served it for us although we came very late right before the kitchen closure. It is all very nice, it looks like an old castle inside.

The hotel has a number of interesting features and lots of artefacts from its time as a monastery. Gardens and pool area are all well maintained and very colourful at the time we were there.

The location was excellent for us as we wanted a "getaway" peaceful break The scenery and places to visit within the area are breathtakingly beautiful. A car is essential to get the most out of your visit. Honojares itself only has a small shop for basic groceries so for variety of shops or places to eat etc. you need to go to the next town Pozo Alcón. (6km)

The hotel has been beautifully renovated, our room was stunning and extremely comfortable, with excellent quality bedding. Far better than many 4 star hotels. There is a central breakfast area where coffee and breakfast snacks are available. We pre-booked parking in the nearby underground carpark, just 2 minutes walk away. Wonderful friendly greeting on arrival. Walking distance (uphill) to Fortaleza de la Mota, which is amazing. We stayed over Easter and were able to watch the procession from the balcony in our room.

Situated in a quiet street but only 50 yards to centre of town for shops, bars, and the park - perfect location to see Alcala la Real on foot. Spotless Reception/Entrance area opening into a traditional internal courtyard with tables and coffee and pastries available free of charge 24 hours/day. Friendly reception staff. The room with balcony and private bathroom was beautifully decorated, very stylish and equipped with everything we needed.

Bright, modern, quiet. Beds were comfortable. Small fridge. Windows that open. Quiet air conditioner. Great location.15 minute walk to the amazing fortress! Check-in was easy. Hotel was a theatre built in the 16th century. It's been completely updated.

Our stay was perfect! We had the gorgeous pool to ourselves and were spoiled with a delicious iced coffee and cake. Our room was large and comfortable and very clean. We had a beautiful view of the pool. In the morning we were treated to a beautiful breakfast on the patio. The staff went above and beyond to look after us, we felt very privileged. Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing stay.

What a gem of a small hotel. We needed somewhere to stay for one night on our way south and what what an amazing find this hotel was. The room was beautifully furnished with a huge bathroom and spa bath, tea and coffee and spotlessly clean. We would have used the outdoor pool but at the beginning of May thought it’d be too cold Located in the center of town, near to traditional flamenco tapas bars and near to an amazing 5* restaurant, Los Sentidos without the 5* prices Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area

Amazing lovely hotel in the heart of Linares. 5 star for this hotel, very clean, Italian style bathroom, very beautiful room. Coffee available and mineral water. Perfect hotel if you want to relax and spend some time in the room. Parking is available for €10/day. The pool is located inside the hotel. Very nice clean pool. Everything was perfect and Monique is a lovely woman.

This was a great hotel and the staff is excellent. We arrived very close to the staff closing time, but Rosa was very patient with us and made sure we had everything we needed before ending her day. The rooms are quite large, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is not to be missed. The food, fresh squeezed orange juice and service by Maria ensured we began our day on the best note possible. We were able to walk everywhere around the city from this location and enjoyed our stay very much. I recommend, if you are in Linares, this is the place to stay.

A very nice hotel that is set in lovely grounds and with great views from our balcony. A comfortable room and a very good restaurant on site. We have stayed here several times before and will do so again. Highly recommended.

We booked the attic room and it was very cosy. The hotel is in a beautifull location with views of the mountain. The food at the restaurant was a little pricy but worth it since the excellent quality. Enjoyed the pool as well and the general service of the staff.

For a 3 star hotel it was excellent - comfortable quiet room, comfortable bed and good bathroom - it was easy to access by car and there were a couple of parking spaces outside the hotel entrance (probably more likely in October than peak season) - there is a great local bar/restaurant outside hotel which is open in daytime and closed at night so the little square outside hotel is v quiet at night

Location of hotel. Hotel rooms were spacious, well equipped, clean, and look regal. Cheap breakfast available, and breakfast has many options to choose from. Staff are so friendly. As I didn't understand Spanish enough we communicated using Google Translate, and they were more than happy to help once the language barrier could be overcome this way.

The location was great (in the center of Ubeda but not too far from the free park outside the city), the room huge and quiet, the staff super nice and the breakfast delicious. We had a perfect stay !

Amazing stay with the wonderful man in the recption who made our passning through fun. We where talking to him how we craved San Grias and When the local pub down the road didnt have San Grias, he showed up, yelled in a friendly manner and went behind the bar and whipped us up a batch. The hotel itself is beautiful and really well kept, even though it doesn’t look like much on the outside it’s truly a gem on the inside.

Perfectly located in the centre of the town. A stop in Guarroman is highly recommended if only to spend a night at the beautiful, clean and friendly Palacio, eat dinner at the La Mesquite restaurant and stock up on local pastries at the Bermúdez cake shop and cheese at Quesos&Besos!

The breakfast buffet was exceptional. It was definitely a full spanish breakfast.. The jamon serrano, chorizo, bread and cheese were fabulous. The service was excellent. The fruit was ripe and the pastries were also very high quality. There was cold water and the wait staff were constantly repleneshing things so that the food was always just cut and fresh. The showers were excellent. The water was warm and we did not try the hot tub, but the shower was lovely and sealed properly and no water fell outside the shower. The beds were very comfortable. We had tea, coffee and a mini fridge and they gave us a welcome cocktail on the house. I wish they had included a beer or glass of wine in addition to the cocktail because the lady at the bar was very picky about being able to only offer us the cocktail as complimentary and nothing other than the cocktail. I wouldn't have minded paying if necessary, but it was just all the arguing that was a little off putting, but the hotel was beautiful and she was trying to be nice, but she was just very inflexible. The rest of the waitstaff were lovely.

This hotel is in a - used to be - palace, simply beautiful. It has a really good charm feeling. At the reception the wooden floor ceiling is simply amazing. The receptionist was friendly. The room was very comfortable, the beds super comportable. Everything very clean. Location is good, only a few minutes walk from the major sights and even the street where it is located has a lot of beautiful and historical sights. One of the most memorable hotels I have ever stayed in. The city is really nice with good restaurants around.

Hotel easy to find, ample free parking. Pleasant greeting from reception staff. Very helpful & informative. Immaculately clean. Decent sized bedroom ( with beautifully smelling linen) & bathroom. We had a room with a patio which we wouldn’t choose in the future but as we were only in the room overnight there was no problem but the rooms with a balcony looked more inviting. Beautiful reception & dinning room. Menú del día reasonably priced. Al a carte menu also available. Breakfast was a cold buffet with ample choice of food & drinks, all very nicely displayed and replenished. Waitresses were very helpful. We used the spa facilities on our last morning and it was fabulous.

Lovely village location not far from Jaen. When we arrived there was parking available in the plaza outside the hotel so we parked there. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was a good size with a balcony overlooking the internal terrace. Room was clean and comfortable. We would stay again.

The restaurant was fantastic. Nice food and at a good price. The restaurant manager, Luis, was so helpful and attentive. The beds are comfortable, shower hot in general all good.

Everything was perfect! Courteous staff, amazing historical property that tells the story. Clean room with balcony was romantic! I knee why I came back here.

Well the really stunning view was perfect, the staff were very welcoming and pleasant, especially the gentleman on reception. Clean and comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant which we all enjoyed and the service was excellent.

Comfortable, in an amazing place with great views Spa is fabulous, outdoor pool beautiful, gorgeous terrace with cafe and views, restaurant.

View from A12 was excellent but there are probably rooms with an even better view. Pool was great, nice and cool in the summer heat, clean and well maintained. Flower beds would benefit from a little weeding action. The evening road train was very interesting with visits to churches and tunnel - recommended. I personally didnt try the spa and massage options but I'm told they were good. Restaurant next door was good food and good service and excellent prices, but didnt do breakfast.

We were pleasantly surprised. The room was a decent size and was comfortable and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was very good – close to sites we wanted to see and restaurants, the two we ate at turned out to be good and reasonably priced. You can park right under the hotel, a convenience. We ended up finding a handicapped spot a bit away, but what the heck it was free. The room rate was very reasonable at $75, total. Breakfast was additional, 8 euros each, I believe and was very disappointing with very limited and mediocre choices, although I did manage to get them to make me some scrambled eggs after a couple of attempts, because I think they had quite a bit of difficulty understanding my English. I would go elsewhere for breakfast, if you can find a place. The only weak link here.

Hotel is very basic with somehow outdated look, but beds were comfortable, rooms were warm and big, shower was clean and functional. Location was very central! Staff was attentive and friendly.

This hotel is very much worth its money. The rooms are spacious and have big beds. Breakfast is good. Service very helpful and professional. The underground parking garage has a big enough elevator to get most cars in but the parking spaces are as most of the times small.

This hotel facilities are excellent. Very clean and the room was beautifully presented. The view across the valley of olive groves is stunning. The breakfast was among the best quality and value I have experienced in a Spanish Hotel. This was a great value for money stay

We were pleasantly surprised by this youth hostel accommodation. It is similar in standard to an IBIS budget. We stayed in an en-suite room for two but it could have accommodated four, which was basic but the room was large and comfortable. A self service continental breakfast was served in the first floor cafeteria. Snacks and some leisure facilities were available on the ground floor. The price included bedding. It should be noted that there is a small extra charge if you do not have a Youth Hostel card. Parking in the city centre is very challenging with very narrow streets. There is paid parking near this hotel at a theatre and some street parking in the nearby street. The city centre is easy on foot from here. The castle grounds are worth a visit but you will need your own transport as it is a very steep climb.

This inn is very convenient in terms of location, space and adaptation. It is the second time I come at this place, and I keep being satisfied. Don't expect any luxury but conveniences.

This Hotel is ideally located on one of the town's main streets, within easy walking distance of the museum, the Parque and central historical sights and the stunning Fortaleza de la Mota is around 10 minutes driving distance. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and found ample nearby free parking, although this may not be the case on a busy weekday. Reassuringly, the Hotel's COVID protocols were strictly followed including a temperature test every time we entered the Hotel and, at check-in, our luggage was sprayed with anti-viral cleanser. We had an upper-floor superior room, which was scrupulously clean (even the TV remote was wrapped!) and reasonably large with a balcony and ample space for storing clothes and luggage. Room facilities included a TV and fridge (sadly empty), but no room-safe, and the bathroom was a reasonable size and equipped with basic toiletries. Free Wi-Fi was provided and speeds were sufficient to allow live streaming of English language news. Other than Reception, the ground-floor was occupied by a restaurant and bar/cafeteria (with a small terrace) which was open to non-guests and was quite lively on Saturday evening. Here also we were pleased to see that hygiene and distancing protocols were fully observed. In summary, this hotel is perfect for any visitors wanting comfortable accommodation in a central location which is easily accessible by car.

Here I am again, giving my view(s) on the Hotel Torrepalma. Again, business trip and stayed 3 nights. Sunday - Tuesday (11th - 13th March) and again a pleasant experience. One thing about arriving in a town like this at 23.00 is that there is nowhere open to get something to eat/drink so bring your own! In the morning the cafe/bar/restaurant staff are friendly/helpful and busy! Great coffee though. Bar does many tapas in the evenings as do most of the bars/cafes in the area. Wi-fi is free and has decent bandwidth and speeds. Anyone travelling to the area would / should like their stay here.

The staff at the hotel especially Jorge were fantastic with their recommendations. We ate at the Hotel one night delicious. The staff in the café was so friendly and welcoming. Our room was very comfortable and kept clean. Nice central location for exploring the area.

Good central hotel, in one of the main streets. Convenient for shopping and a short walk to the Parque/Park area. Clean rooms. Small restaurant. Good bar/cafe, well used by locals and with great friendly staff.

This is a delightfully old-fashioned hotel. Our room had no tea/coffee facility, phone or ironing board but these shortcomings were easily compensated by the excellent service. Routine repairs were dealt with swiftly and when we left a few shirts for ironing they were returned within the hour. The all-male waiting staff in the restaurant were friendly, attentive and tolerant of our poor Spanish. The food was excellent. Special delights were fritura de pescado, chorizo cooked in red wine and albondigas. We had intended to stay for 4 nights but added an extra night. Recommended.

Great location. Lovely room. Cute balcony. Friendly welcoming. Changed us to a bigger room with space for our bicycles. The host even showed me the correct way to carry a bicycle up te stairs!

The Property was very cozy and comfortable. Very close to all areas of interest . The owner Moises was exception and personable. He helped me with his knowledge of the area and was very gracious and kind . I will definitely come back.

It is a good location, close to everything you need. The owner was very accommodating and he gave us an upgraded room. He also helped to teach us some Spanish. Everything was clean and works perfectly - Thanks

The location is excellent. A few minutes from the historic centre. There is also a car park close by but we used the covered parking in Plaza de Andalucia. The building is a beautiful historic home. Renovated with care to retain its authenticity. Pepe was very welcoming and on handing us our keys he told us we were home for the duration of our stay. Our room was a lovely double on the ground floor. The bed was comfortable and there was ample hanging space. It was incredibly quiet although there are bars just around the corner. Wifi was excellent. Breakfast was served in an elegant room. There was everything you’d expect - toast, cheese, ham, a variety of different sweet cakes, fruit and cereals. Pepe made me a decaffeinated coffee in a machine after I declined the coffee. Everything would have been replenished if we had room for more! Altogether an elegant and memorable stay.

This hotel was just amazing. It was full of character. It can be best described as a magnificent large house in the old part of town . It did not feel like a hotel , it was more like being a guest in the home of the owner. The service was excellent - very personal and attentive. The hotel is in a very quiet location within very easy walking distance of the historic buildings and good local restaurants. A basic but tasty continental breakfast was served in a large dining room on the first floor . A very nice additional touch was the free beer and soft drinks provided in the minibar fridge Parking in the public car park located in the square nearby was convenient and the hotel has secured a discounted rate of Euros12 for a 24 hour stay.

The mansion of Ordóñez Sandoval has been in the same family for generations. In 2015 the son of the present owner converted three or four of the ground floor rooms into very comfortable bedrooms and opened as a hotel. Many of the private rooms have been maintained and furnished as they were a century ago and we much enjoyed a tour of these and the private chapel. Our room was very large, high ceilings and stone flagged floor with an ample sized bathroom built into the room. A big bath and lots of hot water! The room had plenty of living space – desk, table, two armchairs and a sofa – so would be ideal for a stay of several nights. The free wifi signal was strong. Breakfast was on the first floor in a room decorated with a collection of antique fans. Excellent freshly squeezed orange juice, a selection of meats and cheese, and of course fruits, yoghurts, cereals, breads, jams etc, as well as torta de aceite – delicious – which we had not tried before. The location of hotel Ordóñez Sandoval is very central, so only a short walk to the main sights of Úbeda and restaurants. The hotel has no car park but paid parking is very close and we probably could have found free parking if we had looked a little further. Overall a delightful and interesting place to stay. Just one slight niggle : Being British we would have liked a kettle and a handful of tea bags in the room!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, although it's more accurately a B&B. We were warmly greeted by Pepe and were awed by the beautiful tiles in the foyer and how well he has preserved this historic home. Our bedroom was extremely large with windows looking out over a side street-- there was some street noise, but the room has A/C which worked well to cool the room and provide white noise. The bath was up 6 steps from the bedroom but was not a problem at all. The breakfast is served in a large dining room on the first floor. The selection is fine, including yogurt, several cereals, toast, pastries and delicious freshly-squeezed orange juice. I am a tea drinker, but my husband was disappointed that the coffee is served 1970 style-- a carafe sitting on a burner whereas in most establishments, it is common to have a cup of freshly made coffee or espresso. The location is excellent. Parking in the small public lot up the street is a bit of a challenge-- you really need a very small car! The B&B is conveniently close to all restaurants and major sights but also close to the outer road for taking day trips. We would definitely recommend staying in this lovely B&B. Pepe is a very helpful and gracious host!

An amazing experience. A XVIth century palace, still owned by the original family, and run by a descendant of the family. The host was gracious and helpful. A highlight of our stay here was a conversation with him, when he explained the history of the house. Our room was huge with tall ceilings and XIX century furniture, paintings, and other furnishings. At the same time, the bathroom is modern and comfortable. The breakfast was great, and served in a beautiful dining room of the palace on the second floor. The location is outstanding: right in the center of the old town, but on a quiet side street (therefore, no noise at all). It is hard to find parking in an ancient city like Ubeda, but host referred us to a great free parking nearby, and we were able to leave our car there for the duration of the stay in this town. Finally, the price was very reasonable.

perfect location for both business and leisure trips, close to the old city, next to an underground parking with a reasonable fee( 14 euro/24h), nice bars and restaurants at short distance. We ate in the restaurant and the food was well cooked and the portions were a good size, the views from the terrace in the evening, and watching the sun set over the mountains was something else! We enjoyed a good continental breakfast before continuing our journey.

Situated just outside Burunchal accessed directly off the main road. Entrance an exit are quite steep but is paved. There is plenty of parking. The position of the hotel is stunning with astounding views from the restaurant and terrace overlooking the olive groves, which stretch for as far as the eyes can see. Very pleasant pool area and plenty of outside shaded seating areas. Staff were helpful and friendly. Good breakfast -meat, cheese,fruit yoghurt- as was the evening menu.

A small, affordable, rustic inn with comfortable rooms, great views, friendly staff and a wonderful restaurant. It is on the border of a national park with plenty of hiking and sightseeing and close to several small mountain towns overflowing with history and charisma. The region is Spain's biggest olive oil producer, with orchards as far as you can see and great restaurants throughout.

The hotel is well located with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. We stayed in room 106 on the ground floor annex, it was a good size, with a very comfy bed, and good bathroom facilities. Room was cool but there is air-con/heating if required. It also had a lovely small terrace overlooking the pool and hillside. Food is very good, we had BLD there, reasonably priced. Staff are great, speak little English but we managed ok as non-Spanish speaking! The hotel although on the main road is quite isolated, but other restaurants/bars are located a couple of minutes drive away in Burunchel, and the main town of Cazorla is 10 min drive away.

If you want to get away close to nature then this is a good spot. It has a Hunting lodge style with a good restaurant and bar beside a large veranda where you can watch the scenery, have a glass of wine and listen to nature. Rooms are rustic and comfortable. We had a small balcony to let us sit and watch over the valley. Staff are all very nice and cheerful. We had a half board package at a very reasonable price. The menu selection was good as was the food. Portions were very generous. There's a pack of tame geese to provide some entertainment and amusement when they go on parade around the artificial lake. You can travel to local nature spots but we just went on the local walk along the bank of the Guadalquivir. We saw some deer, jays, nutthatch, crossbills and terrapins. We could hear green woodpeckers calling but didn't get a glimpse. We only stayed two nights but there seems to be plenty to see for a longer trip. The views on the drive from Cordoba were pretty spectacular. It's a typical mountain drive with a good surface but a winding road with a long climb. The parking there is fine. We didn't use the pool but it looked good. The drive North along the river towards Murcia is pleasant also. So a very enjoyable stopover.

The location is fabulous, within easy access to beautiful hikes in the Cazorla mountain park. The dinner bed and breakfast (half-board) option was great, with delicious dinners. The hotel is quiet, rustic, set in a scenic landscape, and best of all it is very dog-friendly so we were able to bring our fur-child.

Breakfast was great, lots of choice and sitting outside on the terrace was wonderful. The restaurant is also excellent and great value, however, as with much of Spain, dinner is served late. It is possible to eat in the bar though and the food there was also good. All the staff members were friendly, especially in the bar. The pool is lovely but my only negative comments are around that. The opening hours are very restrictive, there is no bar next to it, there is limited space to lie next to it and shade is at a premium. We had to lift up our own sunbeds and place them - can’t see why the pool lad did not do that - and there were few shades. The castle next door is really worth a visit and it is very cheap to get in. Fantastic views from the castle and especially from the cross a bit further on.

The location and the view was uniquely spectacular. The hotel had a consistently atmospheric castle-vibe. The staff was perfectly professional and, at the same time, friendly. The room was absolutely comfortable (despite being one of the cheaper ones). The pool was perfect - also with an amazing view. The breakfast was one of the best I ever had in a hotel (the homemade churros con chocolate were great!) and the restaurant was also very good. The stay was perfect - just a little too short. I would return immediately.

A magnificent view from all of the rooms all of which appear to have either a balcony or like ours a very comfortable terrace. The staff were relatively friendly although could learn from their colleagues in the Parador de Nerja who were much more approachable and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable but fell short on amenities provided. The hotel is very historic and peaceful with a very nice restaurant. It isn’t within walking distance of the town so it’s either the hairy drive down the mountain or a taxi ride costing around 12€ each way. It’s next door to the castle which has a fascinating history. We stayed 3 nights but 2 would have been enough

We booked this lovely hotel after seeing a photo of it on Tripadvisor . We arrived early afternoon to a friendly welcome and our room was available straight away. It was a very warm afternoon so after our welcome drink we chilled by the lovely pool. Whilst there we were entertained by a pair of red squirrels which were very cute. The hotel and the views from it are simply stunning, room was very comfortable. We had booked a table in the restaurant as so many restaurants in Jaen were closed on a Sunday night but were very pleased with our meal. The dining room was as all the public rooms were amazing with stunning views. A few reviews have been critical of the food but we found it to be good. It’s not fine dining but you’re not paying fine dining prices . Breakfast was also pretty good . Staff were friendly. Next morning we had a lovely wander around Jaen ending in the cathedral before heading to Cordoba.

Such a wonderful location, perched high above the town and so connected to nature and history. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, we had a balcony with a fabulous view. The main areas are amazing too, especially the room next to the bar. The staff are very helpful and friendly and we had a good experience in the restaurant too, serving typical local cuisine and good wines. This is our second visit, it will not be our last. Sadly the pool had just closed for the winter months.

Gemma and her Mother were very helpful and friendly giving us directions and recommended some great restaurants, Only 5 minutes to to walk into town, so no noise at night and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast of toastada and a different homemade cake freshly baked, coffee and orange juice gave us enough energy for our hikes.

Absolutely fantastic hotel in Cazorla. Big comfortable rooms, excellent location walking distance to the town centre and free park nearby. There’s a small supermarket and bar also nearby. The owner of the hotel is very very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay here again, highly recommended 😊

Stayed here not long after it opened several years ago, and when deciding to stay in Baeza again this year the Aznaitin hostal leapt out at us! Very reasonably priced indeed, including buffet breakfast. Breakfast simple, but fine, especially when considering the price. Rooms immaculately clean, nice linen and soft beds, with memory foam pillows (which you will either love or hate). Wi-fi good in our room. Friendly and helpful staff, also giving good options for restaurants or tapas bars. Quiet location, and only a few moments from the stunning old buildings of the town. Not desperately easy to find, as tucked away behind the cathedral on the edge of the Casco Antiguo, and if going by car, make sure it is isn’t too big!... the streets leading there are pretty narrow, even for Spain. On street parking nearby.

This is not a “hostal” with shared bathrooms. We recommend this hotel for its location, price, customer service. Very simple hotel (we knew this when we booked it) but clean, nicer than expected. We only had orange juice to go for breakfast; the breakfast area was super cold. No noise from other rooms. Nice beds, we asked for and received hot water and ice. The shower is very small, if you are large this will be very uncomfortable. Water pressure and temperature was great. Parking was not a problem. Close to everything, Baeza is a small town. The promenade with views of the olive trees behind the hotel is safe, clean and is great for walks, strolling, and sunsets. Avoid Michelin restaurants as they are a fiasco, not worth it. Go eat with the locals.

A very good small hotel in the centre of the town very near all the sights. Parking will be difficult as it is in all the small towns with historic centres in Spain but we managed to find an on street spot just 50 metres away. Our bed-room was not large but on par with what you would expect for a city centre hotel, and much better that the title ‘hostal’ or the price might suggest. The room is modern, immaculately clean, powerful shower, good wifi, safe, tv we didn’t try, perfect for a few days. And of course it has a swimming pool. About 8x4 metres with seating for 14 people even with Covid restrictions it proved a very welcome relief after a hot morning sightseeing in 36c. Break-fast not included, options available. With again a language barrier we asked for ‘standard breakfast’ which turned out to be just the Andalucian with toasted bread roll spread with olive oil and tomatoes to taste with coffee or tea. That was only €2.40 per person, good value. But adding eggs juice etc was beyond our language capabilities with no assistance from the staff in trying to help.

Nice little hostel just on the fringe of the historical centre. Street parking for the car. Friendly reception. Spotless room. Copious breakfast. Price deceivingly low for quality. All sanitation tastefully done in special tiles and marble. Room not huge but adequate. Comfortable bed with firm mattress. Pity they don't open the cervezeria any more, but nice tapas bar 50m away and a great restaurant 2 minutes away.

Immaculate hotel, good location, quiet but just round the corner from the city centre. Free but limited parking just outside in road, but we had no problem. The old building has been refurbished inside to a very, good standard, it is very clean and comfortable and enhanced by having an indoor gym next to a very nice secluded outdoor swimming pool. The hotel like Baeza has plenty of character and good ambiance. Our first floor room had a Juliet balcony overlooking the street, the staff are very nice and a reasonable continental breakfast is provided at 5 euro. Highly recommend this hotel for good value and would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed the small rooftop swimming pool and views of the surrounding area. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in a former palace and the atmosphere is really nice. The restaurant staff were very pleasant and efficient and the food in the restaurant was very tasty. Free WIFI also worked very well.

Huge room the biggest in our Spain vacation. In the old town of Ubeda which was perfect for sightseeing. The breakfast was amazing with fresh baked items and a great range of items even for vegetarians. The restaurant attached was excellent and we had a dinner here when most restaurants in town were not open.

I liked everything about this hotel, firstly the actual building is exceptional, an old palace (also on the sightseeing tours- you see groups being told about it outside the entrance). It's also right in the centre of the old town within the old city walls, so you can walk everywhere really easily. The rooms are huge, and clean and have amazing decoration and facilities (including a toilet that that has a control panel on the side!!!) There is a swimming pool, lounge and comfy reception area. The breakfast was really good a large range of very good food.

Our room was huge with a very comfortable and large bed and excellent walk-in shower. Lovely spacious public areas.The staff were without exception friendly and helpful and with good English. We were in our own car and the car parking at the hotel was secure and with good capacity.

12 July 2012. We parked in the town centre underground car park and walked to find the hotel as our Sat Nav insisted that we could not park near the hotel. There is in fact an area for a few cars to park to unload your baggage for a limited period - we were lucky to find this vacant and then went on to park in the large free parking area out of the centre just a short walk from the hotel with the most breathtaking views across Spain. There is a little eatery on the way back up where you can sit and take in these views. The food is local, excellent and reasonably priced, we went back there a few times. Ubeda is a delight and we could have spent more that one night here. Not much English spoken here - thank goodness, lets hope it stays just as it is - less commercial, more gentle, unique and proud. Architecture is facinating and beautiful. The people were friendly and helpful. This hotel was great and suprisingly quiet. Spotlessly clean, the rooms were generous and the air con worked well. Breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The only reason we've not awarded full marks was that the pool was not big enough to swim in. It was however very refreshing as a plunge pool.

We arrived in beautiful Ubeda without booking an hotel and had a chance to inspect four in the historic, clean and architectural part of the city, including the Parador. We choose this hotel. It is wonderful and room 101 was terrific....... large, interesting and clean with a great view over the quiet plaza where there is a lovely and inexpensive restaurant, two actually. Staff are charming, if English is lacking. No hesitation in recommending. This part of Spain is very inexpensive. Just a few doors up from the hotel is a fascinating pottery, owned and run by Tito, an apparently famous potter who is All Spain Artisan Champion, and a nice guy, to boot. Small pool and sun terrace, but when we were there all was quiet.

I stayed here for 2 nights during a trip across the region and the hotel was a good base to explore Ubeda. Located in a square just off the main square of the old town, this boutique, privately run hotel is in an old building overlooking the town hall. Its also at the end of the main street of the old town and therefore perfectly located for a number of excellent tapas restaurants. My room was clean and comfortable, with a stunning view of the square and staff on reception were friendly. WiFi is apparently only located in the lobby, but as my room was directly above reception, I had a good signal. There was a problem on my second night when someone tried to enter my room in the early hours. The door was safely locked and well secured so there was no way to gain entry and it was (I believe) another guest, who mistook my floor for theirs when returning somewhat worse for wear. Our limited ability to converse in each others language meant it was impossible for me to convey this incident to the lady on the front desk that morning and I left feeling this issue was unresolved. Overall however the hotel is quaint and attractive and perfectly located - although as other reviewers have suggested, better signage would help as I got horribly lost on my walk from the bus station!

I stayed for one night and was very impressed by this hotel. I would recommend it to friends and go back again. It is located on a town square and my room had views of the Plaza. Nice, big rooms with large bathrooms and lots of facilities - hairdryer, minibar, wifi, luggage store etc. Nice staff on the reception desk - thank you. Excellent varied breakfast and a comfortable check-out time of 12noon allowed time to explore in the morning too. It wasn't open when I was there (too cold) but there is a very small swimming pool too!

This is a very comfortable and clean property in the historic center of the city. The mattress on the bed was particularly comfortable. Very tasty breakfasts are served in this hotel. You can park your car nearby but it is not always easy. But there are different parking lots in Ubeda. The hotel staff are very nice and helpful.

For me a travelling on my motorcycle it was the perfect stop over place, I stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the easy atmosphere in this place. All the locals use the bar and restaurant so it can't be bad. The staff were helpful, the prices very good. The food was traditional and well priced. Breakfast was coffee and a traditional bread with tomato salsa, it was possible to order some ham and cheese as well. I found the room to be quiet, clean and tidy, even a small fridge to put things in. The village has a small store and a couple of bars and the surroundings are typically rural Spain, great roads for motorcycling.

Great value for money. Clean and safe. Easy parking.👍🏼 Excellent food served in the bar for evening meal and breakfast is simple but perfectly ample and tasty. All alcoholic drinks come with a free tapa which is rare in Spain nowadays! 😜

Right where you want to be in Cazorla for an overnight stay. Hotel was basic and clean with public car parking quite close by. The biggest "plus" here were the staff - very friendly and indeed very helpful - thank you for the extra info re the local fiesta during our one night stay. As for price - maybe it was the time of year - but we thought this small hotel to be excellent value for money. Basic - clean - convenient location - lovely staff - will be happy to return again some day.

My wife and I recently completed a 9-day trip around the Andalucia region of Spain. I had seen the Parque Natural Cazorla on a travel site itinerary and decided to make the drive up to the park with a one-night stay in Hotel El Curro in the nearby town of Burunchel. We had a lovely experience in the hotel and the staff were very helpful in providing a map of the park, recommendations on which trail to visit, and suggesting dinner items. The room was plenty spacious and the view was outstanding. We stayed there on a holiday Monday (Dia Nacional de Espana?), so the hotel was pretty quiet after a busy weekend, and we were given a corner room with a great balcony and a wonderful view. Many of the other rooms also had balconies and shared this view as well. Furnishings were modest, but more than acceptable, and the bathroom had a good amount of space. We were tired in the evening after walking some trails in the park that afternoon and decided to eat at the hotel. The food was quite good and the service was exceptional. The most interesting part of our dinner was that the food was sourced from the region, as I had venison and my wife had trout from a nearby stream/river. There was a humble sense of pride in the hotel and the location shown by the staff, which, in addition to the quiet park atmosphere, made for a nice change from the people and large hotels of the cities.

After riding bikes all day to this location, we were thrilled to be welcomed by Maria who graciously helped store our bikes and offered cold drinks from their bar. The sunset view from our room was spectacular and the robes were a luxury after a warm bath! Room service wine and olive delivery were much appreciated and Maria’s suggested wine choice was a winner! Dinner in their restaurant was delicious and our stay was thoroughly enjoyable!

This hotel is located in a tiny town amongst olive orchards with close proximity to Cazorla and the Cazorla Nature Park. It is a family run hotel, and the owner/manager goes to great lengths to make you feel more like a family guest in her home, than a guest in a hotel. The views over the olive groves from the room balconies are amazing! We also enjoyed a fantastic dinner in the hotel’s restaurant, and breakfast in the mornings. Maria, the host, is full of ideas of things to do and directions to get to them. We highly recommend this hotel if you’re going to be in this beautiful region of Spain.

What a gem of a hotel! The restaurant was very good, well above average. The staff was very friendly and made you feel at home, located at the edge of the Cazorla park. Hotel is very nice classic decorated, nice large rooms and good bed. I was at easy knowing my motorcycle was safe in the secured garage underneath the hotel.

This is an amazing place in a family run hotel and very good value. Maria looked after us and really made us feel at home. Big balcony room with fabulous views on the edge of the national park area. Will go out of our way to come here again.

Well located, close to town and great car park, Comfortable room and big bathroom, very clean. Excellent simple breakfast, fresh orange juice, real coffee and selection of hot sandwiches.

Superb location, central with all the historic sites very walkable and easy, Baeza being quite flat. Apart from the main tourist locations there are other wonderful facades on every street. We enjoyed the tourist train ride around the centre on our first day...it gave a good sense of what was where in the centre. The hotel had lifts providing easy access to all floors, especially for those like us with mobility problems. The breakfast was very good. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm in the evening.

We were celebrating our Golden Wedding and so booked a junior suite. So we had lots of space, a kettle to make teas and coffees (fresh milk if you ask) and complimentary bar items in the fridge. Good selection for breakfast.

The property was perfectly located. You can pay for the carpark which is extra. Although to be fair there is a perfect car park a very short distance away and cheaper. Breakfast was wonderful. Thankyou for this.

We had a lovely weekend stay at HO Ciudad de Jaén. The hotel is in a quiet area just outside the city, which makes it a great base if you’re exploring Jaén and the surrounding region by car - we even did a day trip to Granada with ease. Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and a small terrace, which was a nice touch for some fresh air. The bathroom was slightly outdated, but everything was clean and worked well, so it wasn’t an issue. We were traveling with our dog, and it was great that pets stay free (just a refundable deposit of €100, which we got back without any problem). It’s not always easy to find pet-friendly hotels, so this was a big plus for us. Overall, a quiet and convenient hotel, ideal for a relaxing weekend if you’re exploring Andalucía by car. We’d happily stay here again.

It was very clean and nice. The staff was a bit sparse and there was a wedding venue playing very loud music right outside our rooms so we couldn’t sit on the terrace and talk. We asked to be moved and the lady at the Checkin desk (she was working alone on a very busy Saturday evening) was kind enough to move us and the new rooms were perfect. We had a great view of Jaen and the surrounding area. The breakfast was really good and they were quick to replace the food when it ran out.

A very modern, clean and comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Easily accessible from the autovia and plenty of free parking spaces.

A comfortable place to stay, good beds and free parking in front of the hotel. Just a small walk to the center of the town. Our room had a nice view of the mountains close by and the staff had good info on hikes in the area.

Great views, nice big room with lots of drawer space. Generally clean but lacks a little attention to detail like around the plug holes in the room.

Very friendly staff. Little English, enough to get by. Hard to find but with help from a taxi driver we found it and were lucky to find a parking spot out front.

VFM. Very start of their season so not truly up and running, but friendly, and Cazorla is just such a lovely, still locally populated, town, it was a pleasure.

The staff was particularly helpful in giving guidance for hiking and exploring the region. We were happy to be able to park our car on the street.

Really very limited selection by Spanish hotel breakfast standards — didn’t taste fresh. Zero hot foods (e.g. eggs) and only two fresh fruits. Coffee machine looked modern but made bad coffee that seemed mixed with hot chocolate.

Beautiful hotel, spacious room with sitting area, friendly staff, walkable to many restaurants. I accidentally left my refrigerated medication in our room when we left. The front desk called me within 10 minutes of our departure to let me know. I am so grateful for this.

Our visit was short but excellent. The property is very modern with stylish traditional touches. Very comfortable and very central. Situated walking distance everywhere and right next to a public car park made our visit very enjoyable. We will be back!

The Wi-Fi was great and the bed was too soft. It’s an oddly lonely property amidst the places you want to be with a minimal staff (the receptionist does check-in, check-out, manages your left luggage AND preps the breakfast buffet!). The room was longer than it was wide (be careful not to bump your head on the walls) and an itty bitty pool suitable as a birdbath. All this said, it had an ample bathroom with a walking shower and plenty of towels (that disappeared the second night).

It’s a short walk to the city centre. The staff was very friendly. And the room was very spacious.

The breakfast was very good, apart from the rather odd orange juice! Great variety of food. The pool area was very nice and we were able to park on the street in front of the hotel. It was a pleasant stroll to the centre of Ubeda. The room was very clean, but the stupid shower gel and shampoo sachets made no sense!

The staff made us feel very welcome and the evening meal by Antonio was exceptional. The breakfast was excellent and we wished we could have stayed longer. We have recommended it to many friends.

We stopped of here for lunch whilst on a day tour of the Sierra Cazorla Although there were a few of us (32) in the group, the service was great and the food was delicious. I had fresh trout and my husband enjoyed a venison stew. As a stopover for snack or lunch I would recommend it. It does seem to cater easily for large coach parties. The facilities are very clean even if basic, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I cannot comment on the rooms, but the swimming pool looked wonderful.

Good points - Very comfortable beds, large room and bathroom, very clean, friendly staff. Interior decoration a little strange - purple walls with blue beams and a brown floor. No cooked breakfast. But- excellent value for money and close to "El Meson" restaurant in Arroyo Frio.

A beautiful hotel perfectly situated in the heart of the old town and close to the cathedral. Friendly helpful staff; very comfortable rooms; nice pool in the central courtyard; and excellent restaurant (see separate review for Acebuche restaurante). One word of warning. The parking is conveniently located behind and under the hotel; but there are only eight or nine places and they are not all easily accessible. So it might be worth calling the hotel reception in advance to be sure you can get in. Very happy to highly recommend the hotel. Very very good value: 250 euro for a suite for 2 nights including breakfast (early July).

It's not the easiest place to get to by car but parking was fairly close and free. First view of the interior is impressive for there is a large central patio with a decent-sized pool. The rooms were stylish, well-furnished and with good bathrooms and the staff efficient. The hotel houses a high-class restaurant but also provides substantial tapas and light meals by the pool. Breakfast is served in a large inside room and contained all that one might want. Central Baeza is less than a ten minute walk away whilst the "puerta de la luna" entrance to the cathedral (giving its name to the hotel) is about 50 yds distant. Also very good value for money so no reason for not recommending warmly.

The linen was wonderful as you expect from Parador and always hot water available immediately in the delightful twin sink bath/shower room.. For us, breakfast was a little disappointing for the cost. However, dinner in the restaurant was delightful and along with the excellent wine was good value for money. The hotel is situated in a lovely quiet square in the old town but just a very short walk around the block takes you to a livelier part of the old town with bars, restaurants and cafés. I would recommend this friendly, comfortable hotel and area to visit.

The small town of Ubeda offers a very comfortable rest in the center of town. Rooms are large, bathroom good sized with large towels and a good taverna and a restaurant. Its a mix of old style quaint with modern anenities. A separate door closes off each section of bedrooms to keep them warmer. Restaurant breakfast buffet is delicious with hot foods, coffee, cold cuts and delicious bread. Dinner in the restaurant was good with some having lamb chops, seafood and rice or a vegetarian lasagna. Dessert was a Holy Week confection with chocolate gelato. All delicious.

Even though the parador is undergoing upgrades, the bedrooms are comfortable and quiet, location is very central and easy to find, and staff helpful. We ate breakfast in the dining room - included in our reservation - and the food is great. Lots of variety, the bread is amazing, and coffee from an espresso machine very good. Coffee here is strong, but bulk and sugar make it great.

This is a very unique parador experience. It is located right in the heart of Ubeda, which is a beautiful historic town that is kept extremely clean. It is a great place to spend 4-5 days enjoying the hotel, the town (there are a variety of historic sites to see) and even some small day trips in the surrounding region. This town also has exceptional restaurants (that provide you with the true tapas experience), great cafes, small shops and markets. The hotel is also kept very clean with charming period piece furniture (which are great yet can appear "dated" in style in relation to more modern hotels) and a great courtyard. WIFI is free yet best reception is in the main courtyard. The staff is very friendly and assists with check-in (especially since there is no parking on-site). Parking is not a problem as there is plenty of free street parking in town.

Hotel beautiful. Room and bathroom excellent. Staff friendly and very helpful. Where, as with most Paradores, the hotel fell down was the food. Breakfast good, extensive but expensive. Lunch and dinner offerings too “frou-frou” and expensive. As a result the restaurant was empty. We didn’t even bother to stay in for dinner and chose to eat out in the wide choice of excellent restaurants to be found close to the hotel.

The view from our room (103) was breath taking with perfect views on the castle! A huge terrace where we could spend all afternoon enjoying the peace and quietness. The owners are charming, the lady we saw speaks various languages including English. we ate in their restaurant which is down some steps (everything in this village is either up or down steps) and again their terrace has fantastic views. Food good and quite good value for money. we also chose to have breakfast there too, just to sit in that terrace one more time!

We came back to this fabulous apartment and location. The apartment was good and had an equipped kitchen with utensils you might need to cook a quick meal, coffee, etc. the apartment we choose this year was smaller, still clean and cozy. the location is very good. Apartment equipped with Air conditioning. Segura de la Sierra is a beautiful village. The view from the balcony was stunning. We are definitely coming back.

The Villa Turistica chain offer a 'village' of apartments climbing a hill, with a central reception and catering building. The Cazorla one is excellently located within easy walking distance of the town centre (but easy car access) and very good views. We were a party of 4 adults and 2 children and it suited us well. Especially the family apartment with two floors and 2 balconies. Apartments are showing a little age and have utility rather than stylish/luxury furniture but everything worked fine and the bed was comfy. The heating was very good - to our relief given unseasonably cold weather. Breakfast is good value though of 'asequate' rather than 'fine' quality.

We were very well looked after. A request to move due to a school party in the adjacent rooms to the initial room we were allocated was dealt with immediately, and to a larger room. We were here to do a tough cycle ride, and the prospect of being kept awake by the kids was a worry. The room we moved to was quiet, perfect. Staff at the hotel were very helpful and accommodating, and shared their local knowledge, despite our limited Spanish. Highly recommend for its location too, a short 5-10 minute walk to restaurants, bars and the main square of Cazorla.

They also sell various local products - olives, cheese, cured meats, baked goods, which was very fun to try! Ample free parking at the propery, and next door to a gas station to refuel before hitting the road. Also close (by car) to some hikes in the area. We stayed t the Santiago as part of a road trip through Spain. It is easy to find in the Town Centre, and has secure underground parking. Their is a nice Italian restaurant next door. The common areas are very well kept and comfortable. There was a wedding in the Hotel on the evening that we stayed, but we did not hear any of the usual music noise that accompanies these vents, the rooms were effectively sound-proofed. Would definitely stay there again.

What a beautiful hotel and what lovely staff. We stayed overnight on the long drive from Santander to Marbella and would highly recommend the Infanta Cristina to anyone making that journey (or any other journey). We will definitely use this hotel again. Tip, while you're there, take a taxi from the hotel to the stunning Cathedral (6 euro) then have a walk back to the hotel. All downhill and lots of friendly bars and restaurants.

It has an old and somewhat noisy A/C but it does the job! The windows insulation seemed amazing.. Before going up to my room i had something to eat and drink on the restaurant's terrace laying directly under my window at the 2nd floor. As all the tables were occupied with joyful, chatty locals enjoying themselves it created some noise. None of it was audible in my room! Btw, try the restaurant! There is a reason for all the tables being taken from 9pm onwards! Breakfast was tostada with toppings to your liking, cafe and a caña of fresh, delicious orange juice. I was wondering what I was going to get for the measly price of 3€ as advertised on Booking.com. I do not think you can get much for 3€. What I got was 7€. It is not a set breakfast menu for guests. It is the same they serve to everyone entering their establishment in the morning. Pick and choose what you want and you'll pay accdg to the menu. Another good thing was secured, covered parking for my moto. It costed me 5€ but was absolutely worthwhile. Free street parking however, is easy to get. The owner is quite a character, helpful and efficient. All in all, suprisingly good for the money, fantastic value, the great restaurant being just an added bonus. Go for it!

The owner and bar personnel are soooo simpático and helpful! The room was extremely nice as well and then the bathroom was just luxurious. I just had a wonderful stay and I definitely have to come back here. Plus it’s so convenient there is a restaurant there, after a long day of cycling you don’t want to go for a food hunt anymore. Oh yeah and portions there are BIG.

I had to stay in the area overnight and this was such a perfect place to spend it. The welcome from the staff was lovely (they even knew my name). The restaurant was buzzing and served lovely food, and the rooms were very comfortable. All in all, an exceptional place in a lovely, friendly town.

Comfortable, clean and convenient. Bedding, beds, towels etc were nice. Plenty of hot water. The furnishings and fittings were all very new but traditional in style. We had a couple of meals here and they were good. The staff were very friendly and very patient with our poor Spanish language skills. Breakfast was basic but perfectly adequate for the price. If you want more there are other options in town. Particularly the lovely cake shop/cafe.

The hotel is very clean and there is a good sized spa. The sizes of the rooms and bathrooms are very generous. The location is beautiful but not near to any shops or town so you must have a vehicle. The restaurant is lovely and for the price we paid for accommodation and food in the restaurant, we were very happy. Located nearby is the 'Magical Fig Tree Forest' which is absolutely gorgeous, well worth visiting - and free of charge. Go to Cortijo Buho while you are there - a wonderful hawk and owl conservancy centre some 35 minutes drive away.

A beautiful drive over from Valencia with stunning views of the gorges. Lovely rural location with huge rooms and bathrooms. Super comfortable. The option of a log fire in the room was a real treat on a wet January evening. We struggled to light it but the staff were so helpful. You do need to ask for logs and pay but so worth it. Our dog was warmly welcomed but not allowed in the restaurant, however there is a lovely room next door. We had our meal delivered to the room which was lovely in front of the fire.

The hotel was very nicely appointed though it is not a boutique hotel. The appointments are not as cutting edge as a NH or RoomMate hotel. But the furniture and facilities are excellent. Spotlessly clean. Very quiet. 24h reception. Parking was easy and free on a nearby street. Walking distance to the Casco Historico (800m). Breakfast and lunch café next door. Large bathroom with large tub and good lighting. After Madrid, the hotel's rates are an absolute steal! There's a refrigerator in the reception that has cold drinks for €1.00. Pet friendly. They were welcoming to my 10kg well trained dog. Pet fee is around €12 if I remember correctly. Highly recommended.

As soon as I walked through the door walking with my cane the receptionist asked if I would like a free upgrade to a room with a walk in shower. The room was also a little bigger so I could accommodate charging my mobility scooter more easily. The staff were all very helpful and considerate. The room was very clean and the hotel well kept. The beds were very comfortable.

Our room was on the top floor with a balcony and overlooked the terrace and the views were stunning . No lift and quite a few stairs ! Very rustic interior, bed was very comfortable and shower was very good . We enjoyed a drink on the terrace before exploring the nearby castle. Dinner was due to be served at 8.15pm but they were happy to serve us earlier. Food was good and value for money . Breakfast was from a menu and not buffet style .

Beautiful, and small hotel full of character and unique rooms. Fantastic view over the plains below, and situated right below the moorish citadel. The staff was very attentive, spoke English really well and gave excellent service. A perfect little village getaway for a couple of days. Great restaurant with AC and also service on the beautiful terrace

Despite our lack of spanish communication was achieved with humour and good grace. The food at evening meal was plentiful and delicious however breakfast was somewhat limited. Only coffee and bread and cakes. Worth visiting for the castle where we had a very comprehensive but totally not understood guided tour by a very knowledgeable lady. She tried very hard to explain but it turned into a Fawlty towers experience. Nevertheless very enjoyable. Visited at the end of season so the village was very quiet but pretty.

We found the hotel lovely, super location for a quiet night away, we had a family room with amazing views, we had a lovely meal on the terrace under the stars. We would highly recommend this hotel, staff very friendly.

Great location just off the motorway, but very quiet and peaceful. Lovely pool that was not open as it was September. We had a room facing a pretty central garden. The parking was amazing - our private, single garage was at the back of our little unit with a private door into our room. Excellent. The breakfast room was very good, but the breakfast itself was most disappointing. Very little variety, cold fried eggs, not good coffee, in fact not much of anything, which was a shame as it spoiled what was otherwise a good experience.

We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant served by a very friendly waiter. The room had everything we needed for an overnight stay and the bed was comfortable.

Staff were friendly & helpful. Many English speakers. Breakfast spread was lovely. The shower was powerful & spacious. Open fires in dining room & lounge. Garden.

Location - brilliant. So close to the main road and easy to find, but not noisy. Rooms - beds and room generally good and beds comfy.
