Simple, no-frills *** hotel, but all the essentials are perfect. Great coffee machine with very fair prices, 24h vending machine with snacks and beverages. Good, no-frills breakfast, which is free for children. Overall, good price, especially for families. The hotel is located at the edge of the forest, very quiet and somewhat remote. Perfect base for hiking tours or exploring the Koblenz area, but don't expect decent restaurants, bars or cultural stuff of any sort in walking distance.

For a one night stay it was perfectly fine and good value. The room was clean, beds decent and bathroom was nice. There was some paper left on the floor of the bathroom and one of the bed side lights had no bulb in it. The room was big and clean but very basic, no phone, just one desk chair, a huge empty space which felt slightly strange, no pen or paper, no tea/coffee.making facilities, literally just a room a bed and a tv a wardrobe and one light. For our purposes it was fine, clean, quiet area, free parking but for more than just a night or two its very basic and not particularly cosy, but it is good value ultimately.

Easy to find using Google maps.. Nice location Just a short drive to the centre and great location for walking or rambling.. Friendly check in.. and the hotel was more than adequate for our over night stay.. Parking to the rear with another parking location just over the road.. Able to unload cases etc near the entrance and then park the car... so no issues.. Very pleased with the condition and facilities in the room we were allocated.. Comfortable bed..hot running shower and TV..desk and chair.. En suite bathroom.. which is always a must for me personally.. Opted for breakfast and it was more than great value for money.. Continental offering .. plenty available and very fresh.. Loved our stay and would recommend to anyone considering staying here..

Great value for money. The building is probably being renovated, and there are still some corners that look rusty, but everything that matters is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is also great!

We Visited ' the nest' in May 2023 for 2 days. As part of the booked arrangement both of us, got a 20 minute massage. Upon arrival we were pleasantly received by Olena at reception who, after taking care of check in, gave us a greetings 🍸 drink We had our evening meals and breakfast during our stay. The sauna area is amazing and the surounding area outside with pool was tropical because we were blessed with wonderful weather. The staff are friendly and service seems to be number 1 in the house. The wellness area is very inviting and we got a professional service there from friendly qualified team

The spa area with pool, saunas, and quiet zones is spacious and easily accessible. Staff are friendly, and the overall atmosphere is calm and welcomin.

Very nice spa facilities, good sports room, enough parking space, good breakfast. The location is a perfect starting point for hiking and car tours. The bathtub in our room was very nice and there was enough water pressure to fill it quickly. Enough beds in the garden area and very nice indoor resting areas with many beds.

A modern, beautifully designed, and luxurious hotel with a friendly staff, an excellent bar serving wonderful cocktails, a private adjacent parking lot, a lovely view of the Moselle River, and a rich, carefully prepared breakfast - and at long last, a truly enjoyable and delicious cappuccino.

Breakfast was fantastic, great choice, many very healthy options for all tastes. The restaurant, indoor and outdoor, very smart setting. Staff so helpful, friendly and professional. Views from rooms and balconies stunning, I think possibly all rooms have river views due to the orientation. The spa area is lovely. Koblenz a beautiful city, really recommend a trip there by taxi.

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, our expectations were over exceeded. It was my wife’s birthday weekend and the ladies helped to make it very romantic and memorable! The breakfast and dinner had great options and were very flavorful. The amenities are nice and the location is central to many hot spots in Koblenz. We look forward to coming back one day!

The hotel is lovely, spotlessly clean and in a great location on the river. Breakfast was great and was on the terrace overlooking the river. The staff were excellent, very attentive and friendly. The carpark is secure and free to use.

Lovely place! The café is excellent with a fantastic choice of cakes. The café is the centre of it all – it also works as the reception and breakfast restaurant. Our room (no 5) was good and there was nice thick towels and proper duvets. There is a common room where you can sit and relax if you want, you can make your own coffee there, there is a microwave oven, and a fridge with drinks that you can avail of (to be paid in the café upon check-out). Breakfast was served in the café and it was gorgeous. There is no dinner restaurant but different options in the town (we had dinner at the Philippsburg Castle – a great place). The staff (the owner, we think) was really friendly and helpful.

Friendly helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Personal touch at breakfast time is lovely, plentiful amount of food and if you don't eat it all you can pack up and take with you, which is great for cyclists or a journey home. Great bar situated on the Rhine a short distance away, easy walk to Marksburg Castle from the hotel. A few good restaurants within walking distance. Boppard river ferry is a short distance away for days out. Recommend asking for a quiet room as you can hear traffic noise at the front of the hotel.

Our triple room was really spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The enclosed garden was wonderful and much appreciated by our dog! The host is so welcoming and breakfast in the next-door bakery was amazing. The village is fairly small and quiet but there are a couple of really nice restaurants, and there is a great bar just a short walk away on the river.

Hotel Garni Maas is really well located in Braubach. our host Andrea could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms are immaculate and very comfortable. The snack bar a thoughtful inclusion with something for everyone. The breakfast was delicious and generous. I cannot recommend highly enough!

An excellent package, everything worked well, almost no complaints. Stayed for two nights with access to the spa (Emser Therme). The room was spacious and very pleasant. Everything was brand new and clean. Our room had a great view to the river and the small waterfall in the middle of it. The hills behind the town gave a sense of being surrounded by nature. The bed was comfortable. The only complaint about our entire stay is that it was impossible to get two single beds instead of a double bed. Breakfast was excellent! Great assortments of items and everything tasted fresh. Some items were also changed out for the next day, which further added variety. We also ate dinner at the hotel restaurant. A buffet is always hard to nail, but the food tasted fresh and all the options were tasty. A la Carte was also available. The spa was terrific! A wide variety of pools, ranging from cold to hot with massaging bubbles. There was also a poolside bar with snacks and drinks. Great location! Very friendly staff. The receptionist who handled our check-out was articulate and spoke slow German so that we could practice and understand. Special thanks to the Slightly older gentleman at the front desk!

I loved staying at this hotel. The room was large, there was a view of the river, easy walk across an indoor bridge to the pool, spa, and gym. The pool was fabulous and fun. There’s a separate spa area, with several saunas that are also excellent. The gym is pretty and well appointed. The shower was great, the breakfast was also great. We rented e-bikes from the front desk and had an excellent ride on the bike path along the river. We traveled across Germany for a month, and this was my favorite hotel of the trip. Highly recommend!

The rooms are new, nicely furnished and have a beautiful view over the rapids of the Lahn river. Easy access through a corridor to the spa, sauna and outdoor pools made for a very relaxing stay. Highly recommended. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Steffi in the shop, Mary on reception, Hausmeisters Matchi and Alex, who explained how to use the E-bikes which guests can rent.

The hotel is next to the river so you can enjoy the river view in your room and also when you are in the thermal bath and in the panoramic sauna, you still can see that view. It feels like you connect to nature. It is so relaxing.

The best advantage of the hotel is its GYM - well equipped. If you are a "gym" person, this hotel is perfect. Also, hotel provides great restaurant with healthy alternatives of standard food (for example, schnitzel with nutty crust). Room well cleaned, there is an umbrella in every room (very good for German weather). Breakfast was OK, but I would like to see more options, mainly for hot buffet. As the hotel is really focused on SPORTS, I would also recommend nutrition values for the food (both, breakfast and standard menu at dinner) - that would be nice.

It is a comfortable hotel at the outskirts of Andernach (the city with the edible parks and a geyser). It has a huge gym area and a sauna and spa area that is also used by the people in the area as a go-to sports facility. They have these parts in excellent order. We also tried the adjacent restaurant and were happy with it. The rooms are big and the beds comfortable. The parking is free and directly next to the hotel (as there as so many daily visitors, there is enough parking space). The hotel is easily reachable by car.

Staff is very kind. Room was clean and quiet. The building is bit complicated, but it's also fun for me.

The historic building is very nice and romantik as its name states. We had a suite with sauna. The suite was large, having a saina in your room makes the whole sauna expereience very comforable. We had dinner in the hotel at Saturday night and all three of the staff were sehr attentive, polite and helpful. The food was excellent too.

This is a great little hotel. In fact it’s pretty much perfect. The rooms are large, the bed is very comfortable and the shower is so powerful it would nearly take your skin off. The location is great, within walking distance of all the lovely shops and restaurants of Andernach. And the breakfast was 10 out of 10. So much choice and perfect crispy bacon!

Hotel was well placed for all local facilities. There was an annual four day festival on while we were there and although it was going on close to the hotel, it was very quiet in our room. Staff were very helpful in guiding us to the nearest indoor parking garage, as all the roads to the hotel were closed. They ensured that parking was free too. The room was modern, large and comfortable. With a good bathroom. Breakfast was a good choice, including eggs and bacon We would use this hotel again. Location was the right distance for either first or last day of travel to Rotterdam ferry port..

We had the suite and it was stunning with a lovely balcony overlooking the town walls. Exceptionally clean. Nice breakfast and we enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace. Iron and ironing board available.

We needed parking so looked for a place outside the city centre. They reserved a park for us (for a small fee), but otherwise it was free parking. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. There was a refrigerator stacked with drinks operated on an honesty system - perfect end to a busy day sightseeing over a cold beer! The restaurant also turned out excellent food for dinner, and the breakfast was adequate. Great staff - friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

It was a perfect 2 day stay for us in Koblenz. The hotel is located in a small street with very visible signs to the hotel. There is dedicated parking for the hotel guests, however limited in capacity. It would be good to confirm with the owners prior to your arrival. The rooms are in excellent conditions and with proper ventilation. The bathrooms are clean with all required toiletries. The host is a cheerful couple who are very welcoming and speaks perfect English in addition to their German skills. The breakfast is delicious with many options to choose from. I would highly recommend to include breakfast when booking. Public transport(bus) is within a 2min walking distance that takes you to Koblenz centre. You could also walk along the beautiful Moselle-Rhein river path (3.5km approx.) to reach Koblenz centre. I highly recommend a stay at this place if you plan to visit Koblenz.

Easy to find, friendly and helpful staff, room very clean and large, a lovely traditional feel. In the evening we enjoyed having a few drinks in the Bar, meals were lovely and as the late Sept weather was so fine, we were lucky enough to enjoy the outdoor dining area. Breakfast accomodated all tastes, unhurried and with the option of having a packed breakfast to take away on request. A particular nice touch was the central drinks area, operating on an Honesty basis, so one can have a refreshing drink out of normal hours. The local rail station is just a short walk away and in 10 minutes you are at Koblenz Central Station. From there a short walk accesses most of the Sights in the City. Certainly a hotel we would stay In again and recommend.

We stayed in the Black Bear apartment. It is very, very spacious with a sizable balcony. The apartment also has a washing machine. The restaurant downstairs is very good. The hotel and restaurant staff are very, very helpful. There is on-site parking as well.

The staff was so friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the beer garden and the breakfast very much! Our room was large, comfortable and quiet. We both slept very well.

Room & bathroom were very clean. Bed was comfortable. Plug socket was near to the bed. There was coffee machine also. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was very good. There were a lot options and they were delicious. The hotel is near to koblenz hbf ( appr. 5 min). There are nearby options to eat dinner also. Aldi & lidl are very close to the hotel.

One of my favorite hotels ever! The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, including the beds - I sleep badly at most hotels but slept peacefully here. Bathrooms also five star. The staff was very helpful and sorted out a reservation issue (my fault) with no hassles. Nice location, walkable to many restaurants and shops. Plus there is a bus station right outside and the hpf (trains) are a block away. Amazing value for the price.

The staff are all very friendly and went out their way to meet our needs. I needed to make a collect call back home for an urgent matter, Sebastian at the front desk helped me. Another staff helped us to make reservations with a local restaurant (sorry that we didn’t ask for your name). The beds are comfortable. Bathroom is roomy and very clean. Overall, we can tell this hotel is carefully maintained and cared with love.

Loved the quietness of the place. Our room was spacious, with sofa and chairs as well as the bed which was very comfortable. The balcony was big, with chairs and table. Breakfast was excellent, everything you could wish for (perfectly boiled eggs) and was served on the terrace with a lovely view. The home-made jam was amazing- I bought 2 jars!

This is a beautiful quaint hotel tucked away in the hills with a beautiful view of Bad Ems. Very peaceful. The room was lovely with a lovely balcony, the hosts very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is excellent. Loved everything about Berghotel Wintersberg.

Everything was excellent. Our room appeared to be large enough to facilitate a disabled person. It was spacious, and very comfortable. The bathroom was large and the shower excellent. We also had a large window with views directly out onto the Rhine. The breakfast was excellent with both sweet and savoury options. We were able to book parking directly outside the front of the hotel. We found the staff to be friendly, professional and very helpful. English was spoken by most of them. The location of the hotel suited us perfectly. A 15 minute walk got us into the very centre of town, but at night we were in a lovely quiet area.

The hotel is located near to the river (in a quiet area) and we had a very nice spacious room with balcony with view to the river. The staff was efficient and friendly. The breakfast was sufficient and correct. We also liked that the hotel has a reputation to have several famous actors, actresses, other celebrities and writers as guests.

Obviously being able to sit on the front deck over looking at the ships sailing up and down the Rhine River. Our room was most comfortable with a small outdoor sitting area with a beautiful mural on the wall. The breakfast eats were delicious. And the walking paths with many beautiful flowers. And the two front desk customers were exceptional in answering our questions and being very helpful. And the clearing staff were polite and keep the floors very clean.

The location was excellent. Manageable walk from the train station. Steps to the promenade. We had a large balcony that we used every morning and evening. For hours, we just talked and enjoyed the Rhine flowing past us. In our 5 months of touring Europe, this was the best balcony by far. The room was spacious, clean and quiet The breakfast buffet was hearty.

I am Celiac and find Germany a bit of a challenge regarding a gluten free diet, so I was VERY happy to see that the breakfast buffet offered gluten free bread and cereals , without me having to ask. The breakfast was simple , but with enough choice . We were VERY happy with it 😀 the staff was friendly and kept the restaurant area clean at all times.

The location of the hotel and staff were friendly. We noticed our room(221) had several fruit flies/gnats on the sunny window, so the room could have been freshened up before pur stay. The rest of the room was clean, and the bed comfortable overall. The breakfast service was excellent both days. We would stay again, especially with the friendly and helpful staff.

Finding the hotel was a breeze. Checking in was quick and easy. The person who checked us is in was friendly and provided us with a map and directions to the main haupstrasse district and attractions. The room was large and clean. Warm welcome on arrival and all staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is a modern and tastefully decorated building in a quiet residential area about 10 mins drive from Boppard. There is a limited bus service with a stop nearby, but a car is preferable. Ample private parking at front and rear of hotel. Nice big room with large bed and a balcony with heating and airconditioning. Three very peaceful nights sleep. Plentiful continental breakfast with eggs on request. Excellent restaurant serving high quality food- best to book before your stay. We were really pleased with our choice of hotel and would definitely stay again.

It was incredibly amazing. Great room, new decorations, everything was super clean. And for holiday during mid August, one of the best things was the air conditioning! The only regret is not having dinner at the hotel restaurant. In fact, before checking in, the hotel called me and told me that there would be a BBQ tonight. But at that time, I didn't fully understand what they meant. I thought the BBQ was a party they were hosting and had nothing to do with me. Actually, they were inviting me to dine at the restaurant. After arriving at the hotel, I found that their restaurant was very nice, and when I passed by, I saw many guests enjoying the BBQ. It seemed like it would have been an authentic dinner, and I really regret missing it.

The location is quiet and residential, a car is essential. Boppard is situated about a 5-10 min drive away. The hotel is a family run business and everyone connected with it are a delight. They are helpful, informative and multilingual. The room was of medium size, exceptionally clean and comfortable with a balcony. Breakfast and Dinner were excellent, as was the sandwich we requested to help out with Husb's potential middle of the night hypoglycaemia.

We stayed 2 nights. Need a vehicle if staying here. Small, quiet family-run hotel in residential area. Comfortable, clean rooms. Included continental breakfast buffet with eggs prepared for you. Dinner was excellent, regret we didn’t have dinner there the second night of our stay.

All the staff we met were extremely friendly, helpful and cheerful nice people. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was excellent, clean comfortable, warm and well appointed. The food was excellent too, served and presented very well in a very classy dining room. Quality was exceptional. The hotel was in a quiet village far enough away to not be affected by the trains, boats, traffic and people along the Rhine, but near enough to get there in minutes if needed. Breakfast was great, continental with a couple of different things also and a choice of egg dishes cooked to order. They made my wife’s birthday something special whilst there.
