We booked 2 apartments and both were outstanding, 4 mins from the beach, comfy beds, well equipped, the spa bath was amazing, welcome drinks nice touch, first class breakfast, in fact the best breakfast we’ve ever had, the hosts were extremely friendly and both spoke very good English, EV charging, decor was very classy, air con, rain shower, terrace in modish black, mini fridge well stocked, free toiletries, all in all it was outstanding and we will book again.

The welcoming atmosphere, very dog friendly, everything about my very stylish room, the best breakfast ever! The closeness to the beach and the dunes, last but not least the Eatery and its 9 course menu!

We had a wonderful stay and did very much enjoy the breakfast every morning. We did also have dinner one night that was also outstanding! The room was very nice, we had nice privat garden and could charge our bycicles easily there. We absolute loved this place and will book again for sure!

We were very comfortable in our small but perfectly formed room at the back of the house. Everything felt fresh, new and clean. The bed was super comfy. We were not the only occupants in the house, but overall it was very quiet. We even stayed longer than originally planned. The location is great, the coastal tram and bus stop is just opposite the house, a large, free public parking lot is available, too. Plenty of bars and restaurants in stumbling distance in Nieuwpoort-Stad or a short tram hop away in Nieuwpoort-Bad. Breakfast was a 15 minute bracing walk away but it was worth it, located in Westhoek Marina, good coffee, eggs/bacon and plenty of other goodies to reward ourselves with. Big thanks to Sheila and Stephane who were the perfect hosts, super helpful and made us feel very welcome! We are sure to come again!

Booking was very easy, and a good price. The room had quirky decoration, and was very clean. The staff at checkin and a breakfast were very friendly. The continental breakfast was a generous selection of bread, pastries, meat and cheese. I will be back.

Just over the border from France, a good stop if you are heading north from Clais. Quiet location, parking appears limited at first sight but the hotel will tell you where you can park if you arrive when the restaurant is busy. Staff all very friendly, welcoming and professional. Bedroom is by some standards "neat" but comfortable and clean. It is obvious that the owners are hands on and want to build and maintain a good reputation. Breakfast buffet is comperhensive and the restaurant is light and pleasant. Ate in the restaurant and would do so again. Will certainly return and recommend this 3 star hotel.

Staying at this B&B was an absolute delight. The host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The room was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities we needed for our stay. The breakfast was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. Such a beautiful place to stay with tastefully decorated rooms with super tall ceilings and original features. Very large comfortable bed, a balcony, a small table and chairs as well as a comfortable lounge chair to read in. Loved the deck of cards in the room, a perfect way to pass time waiting for the rain to end. We were checked in early due to our unexpected early arrival due to rain. Beautiful garden and lounge areas to use, an outbuilding for the bikes. One of the nicest continental breakfasts ever with fresh cherries, cheese, yoghurt, granola, fruit. Such a lovely experience and we felt so at home. In a bed and breakfast. Would highly recommend.

Lovely large, clean modern rooms and very central location. The breakfast was great - continental with lots to choose but also offer cooked egges and bacon. Hands-on owners at breakfast. If the weather is good, you can have breakfast, Al Fresco. Owners are so friendly and helpful. Situated down a little side avenue through an archway off the Oostrtraat and just before Grote Square. Square has restaurants and bars. Met and talked with very friendly people there. A walk around is a must. Especially through the square. Lovely Renissance style buildings. Just a very lovely and relaxing place to visit. We will definitely return. There is parking at the B&B if you ask for it when booking. On arrival, you need to park up on the Ooststraat first and check in. Then you will be instructed on how and where to park.

Location was perfect for an overnight stop before catching Le Shuttle to England. Extremely comfortable, tastefully furnished room, large bathroom with walk-in shower and separate toilet. Very quiet plus free parking at property. Delicious breakfast, more than enough, with good coffee. Veurne is a lovely town with plenty of restaurants and shops. We had dinner at ‘t Hof van de Hemel, a short walk away from the Veurnse Slaper. Excellent food and a large choice of beers. Climbing the church tower afforded a fantastic view of the surroundings. We will certainly stay at this B&B again the next time we travel to the UK from NL. Thank you to our hosts!

Breakfast was amazing, beautifully laid out & a really good choice. Bread rolls were exceptionally good & it was nice to have a choice of coffee strengths to suit. The room was delightful, spacious, bright & tastefully decorated with lots of extra little touches. The location of the B&B was very central which was perfect as unfortunately it was a very wet day when we stayed. We weren’t able to take advantage of their free parking as there were building works nearby meaning there was no access to their parking. We were informed ahead of our arrival & information given as to where we could park as an alternative.

Excellent location very close to the market square with good parking nearby. A friendly welcome. Clean, comfortable, and modern rooms. Breakfast was a friendly affair with most people sitting at one big table: a good choice of bread, cheese yogurts and so on with the option of freshly-cooked eggs. Veurne itself is a terrific place to visit with plenty of character: lots to see and great places to eat.

Used as a stopover en route to Germany. Very friendly and helpful staff/owner living on site. Room clean with no frills. Comfortable beds, quiet night's sleep. Decent buffet breakfast. Managed to park right outside hotel. Diksmuide is a lovely little town with a number of restaurants and bars. As hotel caters for school trips breakfast may be a bit hectic if your trip coincides.

We arrived late in the evening due to traffic problems on the road but the girl on reception was there with our key and very very helpful. We immediately went to small restaurant across the road and they were very helpful and although it was late they still served us and cooked some great food. The hotel was in a great location just minutes from the town centre. The room was very spacious, clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was faultless. Breakfast in the morning was a buffet and although no hot food it was more than adequate and plenty of it. There was free parking outside the hotel and I have to say that I travel a lot in Europe and even the world and this is one of the best value hotels I have stayed for all the facilities and comfort and helpful staff.

A great hotel, perfect for a trip to Ypres and many other WW1 sites and memorials. Staff were very friendly and very knowledgeable. The area is amazing! Room was big and comfortable. On floor 2 the Wi-Fi was almost non existent. No restaurant on site, so I don't know why it says "room service" was an option on the hotels.com website. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was truly amazing and friendly! Lovely hotel in the heart of Diksmuide with plenty of parking available next to the hotel. Rooms very modern, clean and spacious and the hotel offer a good selection for breakfast. The room we had (at a the front of the hotel) provided a view of Yser Tower which was a nice surprise and gave the kids something to look at in the distance. I would definitely return to this hotel if/when in the area again.

There’s parking in front of the hotel and a large sports centre right behind it with many activities: an indoor swimming pool (more for younger children), fitness centre, padel courts, mini-golf, adventure park, pump track (a highlight for our 15-year-old), karting, bowling, laser games and an escape room – all within about 250 m. The hotel was very quiet at night (at least on the back side). Location is about a 15-minute walk to the beach and easy to reach by car or bike.

There was no breakfast included in our package, as it was in the self catered apartment wing of the building. Breakfast would have been served in the hotel rooms part of the building, but we did not use that service. However, we did enjoy the cooking facilities in the apartment, which was was very spacious, clean and comfortable with good heating and showers.

Comfy, spacious rooms. Very nice to rest. Excellent location next to amazing swimming pool Vita Krokodil for little kids. Also playground and restaurant the Krokodil were very nice. Padel club accross with jumping castle also was a favourite.

Room only, so can't comment on breakfast or dinner. Wasn't expecting a large apartment, however, was able to use the facilities to self-cater. Beds were really comfortable, bathrooms and main lounge were very clean.

The apartment was very nice and modern and was very well furnished. It was a convenient walk to the beach and restaurants. There were three balconies to sit out on and it a huge room.

All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.. The room was comfortable, clean, a good size and everything worked perfectly. The breakfast was magnificent. A huge variety of breads, pastries plus fruit, yoghurts, cereals and scramled egg - everything was delicious. One of the best we've ever had. The parking behind was easy and well organised (for an extra €15) and there was safe storage for our bikes too (free). It was only a short walk to the nearby beach.

Spacious, clean room with easy parking outside (we imagine it might be harder in peak season, but they do have an underground parking option for a reasonable fee). Exceptional breakfast, everything you could want, nicely presented. Lovely dining area and the bar looked cosy, we’ll try that next time! Very friendly hosts.

The hotel has a nice location -just 2 min. walk from the sea-. We just stayed one night because we were there for a dinner nearby we had to attend but a longer stay would have been nice. The building is old, but the interior has been renovated. The room is spotless. Breakfast is good: lots of cheeses, fresh fruit, sparkling wine. The quality of the bread could have been better (also the croissants were over baked) and I prefer a baguette in the morning but that's a detail. All in all a good place to stay.

They made the effort to make my birthday special with a welcome birthday card and chocolate (that was nice 👍🏾).

having two floors in the room was great, my 5 year old loved exploring. Nespresso machine with loads of snacks provided and just a beautiful view from the balcony. The staff were amazing, even when you check out they give you a lovely box of biscuits and a free drink in the bar. However the best thing is the breakfast. I have stayed in countless hotels in my time, this breakfast is on a totally different scale. Salmon, Parma ham, a vast choice of breads, just everything was brilliant. I'm coming back this was from the UK in a month and no doubt will stay here again.

The location is very good, you can see the sea from the windows and to get to the beach you need about 3 minutes by foot. The hotel is also very easy to find, it's on one of the main streets, literally 1 minute by foot from the tram station. There isn't a restaurant as far as we've seen, but all around there are many many restaurants from which to choose, including a cocktail bar next door.

Excellent central location. Very convenient for the tram and in turn therefore access to trains. Nice decor in public areas and in room, friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel is very elegant, both inside and out. I was welcomed by a polite receptionist who answered all my questions. The location is excellent, less than 100 meters from the sea. There are several restaurants and shops nearby, and there's also a vending machine with snacks and drinks in the lobby, which is very convenient. The room was clean, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the sea view was absolutely beautiful. The toiletries in the bathroom had a very pleasant scent.

this hotel is very well located close to the large shopping main street and not far from the beach ( a few hundred meters). Despite the fact the hotel is large and overbooked the breakfacst was perfectly organised with a large staff cleaning the tables as soon as they have been making free . There was a very large choise of everything and it is one of the best breakfast we got in a 4 stars hotel we staid for a while .

The restaurant served delicious food from either the menu or a prepared selection for the day. The walk to the beach, shops or other restaurants is short. Onsite parking was a bonus. It should be noted that the lobby is not open 24 hours so plan your arrival accordingly. Once checked in, there is a code to get into the hotel through a side door. If I were to return to De Panne, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The star of our stay was Maelle. She checked us in, ran to help when we tripped and took our orders for dinner. Throughout she was friendly, helpful and professional. Thank you. We thought the hotel to be clean, comfortable and well appointed. We were a little concerned that breakfast did not start until 0800hrs as we had to drive to Dunquirke for our ferry, but service started before 0800hrs so we’re able to enjoy breakfast before we left. Our salad chèvre chaud at dinner was very good but our burgers were over cooked. Our bed was very comfortable. Parking was very convenient.

After our second stay, the Donny has already turned into our come-back-to hotel. Its location is perfect, the private parking makes all the difference when you travel with the family, four-legged included. Pet friendliness is exceptional, which we find a critical point in making decisions about our next stay. (Pets are not allowed into the restaurant and wellness area though) Family rooms are light and spacious, ours equipped with two balconies, and with enough closets to avoid messiness during the stay. Facilities, including the pool, gym, spa, are ample, catering to different tastes and needs, and all clean and well-maintained. We have not had our dinners at the hotel (we prefer buzzing around), but the great breakfast hints at some good eating in the evenings as well. The bar and lounge/lobby area is spacious and cosy and we have enjoyed spending time there (you may want to check their raspberry mojito), both in the evenings and for our morning reading over a cup of tea.

We booked Hotel Donny last minute after a couple of days in Lille and a trip further up the Belgian coast. We were looking for some rest and relaxation after a busy few days and Hotel Donny gave us exactly that! The room was comfortable and enormous, a welcome surprise after budget hotel stays! We ventured down to the beach and woke up to the sounds of the trams with the sea rolling as we enjoyed a coffee on our balcony looking out to the beach. The Sanocentre was a perfect afternoon to enjoy each other’s company and look after ourselves. Breakfast was fabulous with so much choice! The manager was incredibly approachable and we enjoyed our conversation with him, the atmosphere was exactly what we hoped for and we enjoyed every minute at the property! We can’t wait to return!

A very clean place to stay, with friendly couple helpful in finding places to eat etc. It is located away from the noise of the beachfront, but close enough to both the old city of Nieuwpoort with a great choice of restaurants (make reservation early!), the beachfront, and the harbour. The rooms are clean and comfortable. A wonderful breakfast and a comfortable garden where you can enjoy your breakfast, weather permitting. We stayed overnoght to have a short drive to the ferry at Duinkerken.

I have stayed in Veurne a few times now, this was my first at Hotel de Loft and will not be my last. The staff were very friendly. We had a little baby and 2 other children and they were so accommodating to us. I have never seen such a hotel, it is made to cater for those with special needs and disabilities as well as recruit them. I loved every aspect of this ❤️ As someone who works with special needs I can't express how much I loved seeing this. Everyone was really friendly and the hospitality was amazing. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant 😊

I choose this hotel primarily because it's located walking distance from the venue where we were attending a concert that evening. When making the reservation it did not occur to me that this hotel is primarily serving clients with medical and or mobility issues. This results in a more "healthcare facility" type of atmosphere in both rooms and corridors. This was something that surprised me but I could have known it, had I checked out the hotel's website. The room was spacious and quiet, breakfast was OK.

Everything was very good. From the room itself to the beds and bathroom, the short distance to the beach, the restaurant Akoté and everyone of the staff we met were VERY friendly. We loved playing billard or ping pong, swimming in the pool or sunbathing outside in the garden. It was FANTASTIC - a hotel with every amenities one can imagine! We will definitely come back.

Do you fancy a real hotel, far from the hipster-ish standards? An old but gold kind of thing with wooden walls and a nice terrace outside? Then Montana is for you. We had a really good night's sleep and would be very glad to return. It was just a twenty minute walk in to the seafront with the restaurants and bars.

The Hotel is located outside from Nieuwpoort, near to a camping. You'ill find a playground just behind the main building. Generally the Hotel is very Child friendly. In 9' you are at the beach with the car. We had room with bunk beds. Perfectly made for a family with Kids. The rooms are clean an easy made. No luxury or fancy accessoires. The staff is friendly. Only negative point is the pool. Actually you can only enter the pool area by trespassing the changing room. If the room is occupied you have to wait outside. There is no other way to the pool area. The pool is small and the water not very clean.

Hotel stuff was very, very friendly, even we arrived very late after the midnight. Family room was way better than we expected and really comfortable to stay (3 beds, toilet and shower separate), room was really big. Area and parking was safe, breakfast was excellent and there was wellness center which we would like to use if we had more time. Very family oriented hotel. Definitely can recommend and would go again.

We are a family of 4 staying in a room with a double bed and a bunk bed. There is plenty of room for the four of us. The bunk bed is a good size and big enough for my 13 year old. (Why can't more family rooms have bunks instead of sofa beds)? The room is clean and the breakfast is good. There are no photos of the carpark, but because the hotel is just outside of town, the parking spaces are very generous. They are large enough to take a bike trailer with 4 bikes and we see a few cars with bikes. It's a short walk to the town centre for food. The town itself is lovely and both the town and the walk feels very safe for families.

We arrived very late after ferry delays (2am) and had a warm welcome and quick check in. The staff working there were super helpful and friendly. A perfect stop over from Calais

This is a clean, welcoming, friendly hotel in the market place in the heart of De Panne, and only about 10 minutes walk from the lovely sandy beach. The hotel has character and judging from the old photo of it inside is probably over 100 years old. The breakfast buffet is available from 8am to 10:30am every morning with plentiful supplies of all you would expect from a continental breakfast. The restaurant where breakfast is served is spacious and very pleasant. We were staying in the family room immediately above the entrance on the corner. While the room is small we got used to it and you have a good view over the market square. Please note that the weekly market takes place on a Saturday and the traders set up their stalls from about 5am, so if you have the windows open you may hear the noise! You may also hear if people in rooms around flush toilets or shout. But it was a great base for our stay - if you walk to the sea front you can catch the tram which takes you either along the coast or to De Panne railway station for hourly trains to Ghent and onwards. We found lots of restaurants in De Panne, and many of the buildings around date from the Art Nouveau era which gives the town a great feel.

I took my three sons away for a "dads and lads" pre Christmas break while the Mrs. caught up on things Santa has to do. My lads are aged 9, 11 and 14. We caught the hotel Cecil at a very quiet time of the year, which perhaps enabled us to check in 4 hours early. The owner/manager of the hotel simply could not have done more to make our stay a pleasant one, he was helpful and informative. There is nothing flash or fancy about the Hotel Cecil, but it is very comfortable and clean. The continental breakfast was fresh and plentiful. We will certainly stay here again. The location too, is excellent.

We stayed here on our way back to the UK. Usually we stay in Calais the night before the train/ferry back but we have never found a decent hotel - especially when all you want to do is relax on the last night. The building looks stunnind and 200 years old - yet it is 10 years old. There is a bar, a lounge and a dining room for guests to use. While the restaraunt is not open on Tuesdays we did have breakfast and found it very good indeed. The rooms a basic but very clean with comfortable beds and 5* for the price point of this hotel. The lady who runs the place could not be more helpful and was very nice to chat to. As for the local area, not much doing, so truly somewhere to relax. The local village has 1 bar and one restaraunt - both were closed. We drove north for 15 minutes to a bigger town where we found 2 restaraunts and a couple of bars. We found a lovely Pizzeria. I will be using this hotel again.

Wonderful hotel for families! We stayed in a room with a separate bunk bed area, which is a huge bonus for traveling with kids. Caroline was amazing—helpful with everything from making our booking to frying an egg at breakfast, which by the way was delicious! A wide selection of local cheeses, bread, yogurt and fruit. The hotel is on a farm property and watching the cows was a big hit for my two year old. We would definitely stay here again!

The lady who runs the hotel is very kind and friendly, our bedroom was excellent, comfortable beds, cleanliness everywhere, fun games to play with the family, free and ample parking, nice breakfast, the hotel has everything you can imagine and beyond. We spent one night there as a family of 5 and we had a lovely set of rooms to ourselves. It was clean, spacious and bright. Our 3 young children took one room and the adults had the other. All the rooms were joined together which was perfect for us. The garden was wonderful for both the adults and the children who enjoyed the play area and you feel as though you're in a private back garden as it's so quiet and surrounded by other (lovely) residences. It's a short walk to the beach and the main high street and the hotel is located in a really beautiful tulip-lined street. All the staff we spoke to were very helpful and polite. The hotel also has quirky bit of character with some cute Easter animals & decorations and some interesting things for the children to look at. Lovely stay and I wish we could have stayed for longer.

Nice atmosphere in the dining hall. Location is absolutely perfect, easy walk to the beach and direct tram to Plopsaland. Located in a sweet quiet street.. you'd never know you were just by the busy beach. We would like to stay here again!

A surprising find but we loved this independent hotel only a few minutes walk from the beach. Very helpful staff, very clean facilities and comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast and parking too (pre-book in busy times). A little gem and for us an unexpected find in terms of the hotel and the location. We'd never heard of De Panne but will definitely return.

West Bay provided us with a much needed leisurely stay following our 1800 km long journey across Europe with two young children. Checking in was smooth and Julie at reception has been very helpful. Our room was spacious, stylish and very comfortable! The beach is just a short walk away and we spent a lovely afternoon at a hut watching the sun set, followed by a lovely play at the hotel's own (and very-very clever!) playground. My husband had to work at night and he praised the strong wifi connection which was no fuss. I loved my morning coffee! The next day we continued our journey and Calais was a mere hour away. Altogether a beautiful hotel, lovely staff and very comfortable beds! Wish we stayed longer!

From the check when I was greeted with a friendly smile and offered even an early check in by lovely Ulyana to my beautiful studio apartment which had everything I needed, to the added bonus of the outdoors fresh water pool and of course the proximity to the beach - I was super satisfied with my stay! We arrived to find ground floor rooms, with parking directly outside it. There was a patio outside with garden furniture to relax in. Hotel Westendia is essentially a large restaurant with a two storey accommodation block behind it with ample parking in a very quiet area of the western part of Westende. It is about 300 metres from the beach and the long wide promenade, which stretches to Ostend. The rooms were fairly basic but spacious and with comfortable beds. The owner Jim and his wife made us very welcome and the continental breakfast was excellent and plentiful. About 500 metres away there is the Westende Bad tram station, which took us to and from Ostend. It is surprisingly simple and cheap to use. Also, we enjoyed walking to Middelkerke, which has ample restaurants and activity. Overall, a good place to stay at a reasonable cost with ample free parking in a quiet area close to the beach but not too close.

Very friendly people - convenient location, grand-daughter loved it as there is a play park opposite. Easy distance to beach and shops; local restaurants were very good. Will probably go again for a summer break near to excellent beahces

B&B Nieuwhof is well located and a short distance from the main road so for us it was great as an overnight stop on our return to the UK from the Netherlands. However the setting is peaceful and would make an excellent base for a cycling or walking break in Belgium as well as being close to the various cities. Although our bedoom was the 'standard', it was large with a sitting area and large French doors overlooking open countryside. Complimentary coffee and tea are available at all times in the breakfast area where there is also a drinks fridge with alcoholic and soft drinks which are available at a small extra cost. We have an electric vehicle and we were able to charge this overnight in the parking area (by previous arrangement) at a very reasonable rate which meant that we could drive back to the UK the next day without having to worry about charging at Calais. Linda was an excellent host and could not have been more friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a continental selection of pastries, bread, cheeses and meats, fruit and yoghurt - eggs were available (laid by the resident chickens) but we had already had plenty!

Five minute walk to the beach and '"digue":or boardwalk, easy walk to Dynamo 1940 Evacuation museum, worth seeing.. easy walking distance to the port, pedestrian walkway over the canal, good views of lighthouse. At low tide we saw several wrecks of ships that did not survive the 1940 evacuation...off the Dunkirk boardwalk and a bit Farher north on Terminus and Zuydcoote beaches. Lots of historical marker signs well done. We learned a lot and just enjoyed walking on the boardwalk along the beach. A Bus stop is right around the corner from the hotel, buses are free in Dunkirk! We took bus C3 to the historic town center, easy. Lots of cafes, restaurants, the Cathedrale, town hall and music the day we were there for a big flea market, we just loved the laid back vibe of Dunkirk and the boardwalk and beautiful beach architecture, knowing almost everything has been rebuilt since WWII...highly recommend a visit to Hotel L'Hirondelle and Dunkirk,

Very quiet. Very convenient for beach. Breakfast was good. Convenient for the EXCELLENT market on a Monday. I was disappointed that the restaurant was closed for summer holidays. This was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel and RESTAURANT. On our first night we had dinner on the sea front at an excellent restaurant La Capanna, but we did struggle at first to find a restaurant that was open on a Monday. What is it about Monday that many restaurants are closed?!

Very good staff. Especially the friendly American girl. We were able to take our bikes through the hotel to park overnight. The breakfast was good, plenty of different breads & also toast. Boiled eggs to suit your choice. Different choices of coffee. Fresh fruit. The bed was very comfortable. Very quiet at night. Cosy bar & busy restaurant. We weren’t very hungry but were able to choose a cheese platter which was actually one of the desserts without a problem. Very close access to the promenade

The hotel is extremely convenient for Dunkirk's excellent beach. We were held up and arrived late (10pm). The staff called us to make sure we were on our way. This helped me to relax and not worry that we'd be too late. As requested, we were given a quiet room at the back of the hotel. Only the seagulls woke us up. The shower was very good. Room and bathroom is lovely and clean. Beds were comfortable. FREE on-street parking! Unheard of for a city centre location in England. Breakfast was good.

We were very pleased with the apartment. Brand new and lots of space to live in for the couple of days. The decor is modern and furniture/equipment well looked after. Black out curtains and comfy beds meant a good night's sleep too. We arrived at 12.30 at night and easily gained access using the instructions emailed. Tourist area was quiet due to time of year but the natural surroundings were beautiful. Lovely beach with sand dunes and interesting dune/grass and wildflower reserve just minutes away by foot. We walked for 20 minutes along the beach and were in Belguim. This apartment is a short drive from Dunkerque so ideal for short breaks where time is of the essence. It was around a 40 min drive to Bruge. We were given the price of £140 for 2 nights, but after add ons such as cleaning fee and sheets hire it was £210 so please do read the small print.

Slightly confused about finding reception to get the keys but the man there was very friendly and helpful. Apartment was clean and great for our family. Right by the sea and we had fab crepes from a great cafe on the sea front. Only things I would change would be the shower door which leaked and maybe updated smart TVs

A big bay window with two chairs and a table. Plenty of wardrobes. Tele and a fridge with nothing in it. Shower room is OK size; for one at a time. There is a separate toilet across the bedroom. Both have opaque glass doors with the logo Downstairs/Outside is a bar & restaurant and lounge and breakfast room. All big and very smart. The food was very good. Breakfast excellent. Outside a veranda with plenty of seating. The hotel is on the ‘main drag’ with everything that goes with it. Shops, bars, restaurants. Two minute walk from the beach. Very central. Hosts were friendly and good. Value It was OK/good value with breakfast. Everywhere clean enough.

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Cajou! The location is perfect—just steps from the beach and close to shops and restaurants. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and my room was spotless and comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was delicious, and the hotel offers convenient parking. Overall, a fantastic experience—I can’t wait to return!

The room deserves a 8/10, the breakfast deserves a 9/10, and the friendly staff deserves a 10/10 ! The room was super clean and quiet. Super nice and generous breakfast in the morning. The location is really good, super close to the beach and quite close to tram stop as well.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the very friendly owner. She showed us the breakfast area and the salon where the newspapers of the day are always available together with free coffee and cake in the afternoon. She walked us to the room on the second floor with us (no elevator). The room is very spacious and has everything you need. There is even free coffee, tea, hot chocolate and soup provided. There are all kinds of free products in the bathroom (shampoo, soap, razor, ...) and everything was super clean. The breakfast is great. Several types of bread, sandwiches, cheese, meat, cereal, juice, coffee, tea, yoghurt. It's also possible to order eggs, any style you'd like. For those who love walking, it's great to explore the area around the river Yser, see lots of animals and see the reminders of the world war. I would definitely recommend this B&B for the 90 Euro for a night we paid. People should be aware of the fact though, this place is approximately 3,5km from the seaside (40 minutes walk). The tram stop is only a 5 minutes walk away though.

Nieuwpoort makes a difference to most of the Belgian seaside resorts thanks to its architecture. Amidst this charming town you find the B&B. We felt to become temporary citizens, reading the local newspaper and chatting with the owners in the nice breakfast room. The breakfast choice is limited but in case anything run short it will be replaced immediately. Street-side parking was close to the hotel in a parallel street with a direct shortcut to the entrance. Beach-lovers be aware that you have to walk about 1 kilometer to reach the sea and then probably not the best beach of the Belgian coast. But for us looking for certain attractions and enjoying beach promenades in other resort towns the tram stop was conveniently located (1/2 km distance). At least half a dozen restaurants are within the same distance. All in all an enjoyable experience.

not on the seafront but well worth staying here. quiet shopping street. host who knows what she is doing. nice big rooms, comfortable and equipped with everything a guest needs to make him feel welcome (free bottles of water, free fruit, free decent coffee in the lounge area and free coffee, tea, hot chocolate in the room, ...). breakfast is of the same standard. helpful host, she couldn't do enough for you. stay here if you can.

A warm welcome and Tanya couldn't have been more helpful. Comfortable and spacious accommodation in the old town just around the corner from the market square and a short walk from the Kustramm. A great brasserie just round the corner too - In de Lewte. A nice garden and comfortable sitting room in a nice part of town. For us, it was just perfect.
