Lovely property! Really comfortable beds and great amenities in the room. The decor is lovely. Nice big bath tub and shower. Two pools, a gym and a massive open space with benches and hammocks to enjoy. Very clean. Love the fridge which has free soft drinks and water for guests. Everything you need is available. The staff are really friendly and helpful and are always available by WhatsApp. Perfect location too in the Imago mall where there are tons of nice restaurants and lots of shops. Quiet and peaceful once inside. I’ve stayed in many hotels in Kota Kinabalu and this is by far the best!

This was our 2nd stay and it didn’t disappoint. Both times we have stayed 1 night as a stop over between flights. The service is excellent, friendly, helpful and welcoming. You get the feeling nothing would be too much trouble. We were also given a surprise upgrade this trip, which was very welcome for our family of 3. The room so cosy and lux. The bed is super soft and comfortable which is just what you need after a long day of travelling, and the bathroom is generous and modern with a large shower and separate bath. Location is excellent right above lots of places to eat and all the shops. If you value comfort and convenience then this is the perfect place to stay!

This place is fabulous! The room was not big but well decorated, and very inviting and cosy. Luxurious touches like the chandelier, sparkly handles and lights, and the quality coffee making area, made us feel like we were in a posh hotel. The room offered every amenity we needed plus more. After a long day travelling the big bed was so soft and comfortable the street noise we could hear was easily forgiven. The bathroom, so large, modern and fabulous, I can’t fault it! Location is excellent with shops and places to eat right downstairs. Service was amazing, super helpful, communicative and very kind and friendly. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in KK.

the place is very clean, luxurious, location very good, bed is comfy like cuckoo bed, netflix is great, no lagging whatsoever, dyson hairdryer very good, aircon very good condition, free drinks is nice, toilet is very clean and premium, modern design and unexpectedly spacious with a bathtub. staffs also very friendly and always ready to help by checking on us if we need anything. overall, everything is excellent!

Really great value- the feel of a high end hotel for a fraction of the price. The room was small but that did not make it any less luxurious feeling. Really high quality finishes, amazing comfortable bed, excellent bathroom with toiletries, hairdryer etc all available. Staff were very communicative before and during the stay, nothing was too much trouble. Apart from the occasional noise from planes (which can't be helped) the rooms were super quiet. Location was good and you have the convenience of being above a massive shopping centre- if we were staying longer we might have preferred to be closer to the waterfront area but as we only had less than 36 hours in KK being close to the airport actually suited us well and it was an easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go. Tea and coffee and kettle provided- coffee was just 3 in 1, a pod machine or other option to make a 'proper' coffee would be the only suggestion for improvement- but not a problem.

Nice friendly staffs from the entrance to the exit. Nice beautiful suite with jacuzzi and steam room. Perfect view by the pool and fine sandy crystal clear water beach. Good food with flexibility in advance ordering.

We had a wonderful stay at the villa. The room and toilet are very big, It even has a Jacuzzi bathtub. There are 2 tvs, one in the living room and the other in the bedroom but cannot be use. The program channels are not much but ok. The breakfast is quite ok, the same always. The reception is not a proper, it is at one of the villa, in other words it does not has a lobby. Cafe house also in one of the villa. They should turn one of the building (former Thai restaurant) into a cafe and lobby. There are more room for improvement.

TROPICAL HAVEN if you want a private pool AND the beach, then BBV is perfect. This was the case for me, my mom and my sisters for our all-girls trip. We were searching high and lows for such place and was on cloud nine when we managed to find one. We booked the Beach-front Pool Villa and though the price was quite steep, it was also value for money. The close proximity of the villa to the beach is to die for. Imagine waking up (and sleeping) not just to the sound of waves but also seeing the waves from the comfort of your own bed. The stretch of beach is clean and water is clear, the private pool is of nice size for a few laps whenever you feel like it. The villa was in beautiful and in good condition, clean with complete kitchen amenity. The lighting was cosy, both fans and AC are available. The main bathroom is big, with a jacuzzi tub, and rain-shower. Another noteworthy recognition is the staffs. They were very warm, friendly and professional. Their services are also fast and efficient. From the moment we checked in, till we checked out, every staff we met were smiley and hospitable. There are some room to improve though in terms of the resort’s facilities such as the restaurant and gardens. The restaurant has a satisfying list of menus but i wish for the place to maintain the tropical-vibe we get from the beautiful villa and surroundings. The garden could also do with better maintainance and seatings. Look at resorts in Bali/Lombok for inspirations 👍

I have booked for 2 bedroom beach front pool villa to celebrate my birthday and it turns up to be a surprise proposal by my fiance. Staff is very friendly, the check in process were pretty fast but check-out process need to be improve. The 2 Bedroom beach front pool villa was awesome, overall cleanliness is good and they provide sufficient kitchenware to those who wants to cook in the villa. Bathroom comes with Jacuzzi bath tub, only things is they don't provide in house slipper and coffee tea amenities. The water hose for the 2nd bathroom were not very strong and the swimming pool is pretty small and not very clean. However, the beach is very good. Crystal Clean Water and walking distance. Beware of baby crab and Jelly fish. Breakfast is good. Great varieties from 7-10 AM P.s. Found a lot cockroach at the garden during night time, and 1 came into the master bathroom on the very last day. Highlighted this to the staff during check out. This resort is located 25 - 30 mins out from town. You definitely need a car/transport to go out unless you want to stay there for your whole trip. The room is spacious, clean, new. Air-conditioning is cooling which is much needed in a hot place like here. We did our simple cooking as there are availability of an oven, microwave, stove, pan, pot. Enough utensils in the cooking area and we had a nice cosy dinner in this apartment. Bathrooms are clean with bath tub, jacuzzi, steamer and many towels.

The room was very spacious for us, a family of four. Our room was a little outdated as far as cosmetics, like our balcony railing was rusty. They have two swimming pools that were really clean. The beach is huge with hardly anyone there. It felt private it was so nice. During high tide there is hardly any beach, but perfect time to hit the pools. All the employees are extremely friendly and helpful. It would have been nicer to have the pools open a little later with lights. The property is about 40 mins from the city center and about 5 miles from closest outdoor mall, so the resorts restaurant is the closest restaurant around. The food was good, but extremely expensive compared to restaurants in the city. A cup of regular coffee costs 4 to 5 US dollars. The front desk was always super helpful. They helped set us up with our tours. They also have free shuttles to the outdoor mall at 10am and 3pm. The local outdoor mall has a grocery store and eateries that included KFC and Pizzahut. They do not deliver to the resort though.

5th floor flat overlooking pool and sea. Very large sitcom. Fans. Balcony. Bath. Showers with hot water. Free transport to supermarket to buy your own food and eat it on the balcony. Jobs and microwave. Fridge freezer. Fresh towels daily and cleaning. Mature attractive grounds. Sea nice and warm but not good for swimming. Quiet. Relaxing. Good wifi I think the units flats and villas are individually owned and let out through the local operator. Wasn't crowded when we were there. Attractive golf course just up the road where there is a large hotel complex with 9 restaurants about 45 minutes north of KK airport taxi approx Rms100. Just what we wanted after 10 days jungle and travel.

The resort is located beautifully on the beach and during May, the place is nice and quiet. If you were there during the peak season, it would be very (too) packed, especially around the swimming pool. The beach is beautiful and kept clean (cleaner than Nexis up the road). The breakfast in the morning was very nice, especially the vegetarian curry and roti bread (11 out of 10 for taste). Ensure you have Malaysian money as they may not be able to change money for you The city is up to an hour away in peak driving time so plan ahead if going out. There is a courtesy bus that takes you to a local supermarket to but supplies Rooms are clean but the toilet at times doesn't work. The balcony rails need replacing due to rust. Staff are very nice, especially the owner/manager who was able to change money for me

It was a very enjoyable stay. The villa where we stayed the entire time was very comfortable, had a nice ocean view and just a stone's throw away from the restaurant (the food and the service were good and the price was reasonable). Even the weather cooperated, nice and sunny during the day with some rains in the evening (it made the stay even more comfortable and cozy). The kids loved the private pool since it allowed them to swim in the evening. One small kink, however. You need to have your own car if you will stay there since the place is in almost a remote place. There is shuttle, alright, but its trips are quite limited. All in all, I would still say, it was a very good choice!!!

We loved the location and the view. The staffs was excellent especially the receptionist. The room was spacious and clean. The view facing mountain and it was excellent view at sunrise. The restaurant facing the sunset and it was excellent.

I liked the amazing view of the sunset, mountains, garden, and the early check-in. All the staff were friendly; what I liked most was that the manager was humble enough to talk to guests—asking how they could improve, offering what I needed, and even going beyond that by taking a picture of me, as I am a solo traveler. 😀 Moreover, I took a jungle trek, and it was a good experience—a replacement for the gym, a chance to enjoy nature and hike. I liked the food (you can only rely on their restaurant because I think there are none nearby). The Wi-Fi is a bit intermittent but able to manage work calls. The room is spacious. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, you can come here for a retreat experience. It would not be called Haven for no reason!🥰

Impressive views over Kota Kinabalu, plenty of places to sit and admire the views, and ample photo opportunities. Clean tidy and everything works. Nice breakfast. I will stay again.

Have stayed at the same room for 3rd time now. Still my favourite room. The bed was very comfy and big and clean. The room is very clean and cozy. Smells nice. The tv was very big, 52 inches andriod tv equipped with build in cast connection, wifi was working fast, sofa was clean and comfy. Complete with utensils and microwave and heater and induction pan. Easy to cook. Dining table also so big. Fit 6pax sitting to have dinner together. Refrigerator is so big. The heater in the toilet also works well and very big. Night market 5 minutes walk, 7eleven, and burger king and many more 24 hours restaurants nearby. Morning view with mountain kinabalu and there is a rooftop swiming pools and gym. It was very amazing stay. And owner also very flexible and friendly. He able to extend my stay due to my emergencies. Very clear instructions on self check-in and self check-out. And most importantly there a vending carpark. Car safety is 100% guaranteed.

I had an incredible stay at Laxzone Suite. Everything about my experience was exceptional. The cleanliness of the suite was impeccable, making it a truly comfortable and relaxing space. The location was perfect, What stood out the most was the management. They were not only incredibly friendly but also attentive to every detail, ensuring my stay was as enjoyable as possible. From the warm welcome at check-in to their willingness to assist with any questions or requests, they truly went above and beyond to make me feel at home.

The instructions given to self checkin were very clear. The security guard at the premise was helpful and friendly. Love the parking system, so convenient and safe. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Basic necessities were provided, and it's really cool that they provided a washing machine. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and the self checkout process was smooth. Will come again next time. 5 Stars Rating.

Tastefully furnished room with IKEA like feel. Very clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable and sheets were very clean. Balcony with view of KK International Airport runway - great for plane spotters. Fully equipped kitchen. Lovely swimming pool with great views located on the top floor. Very convenient location just a short distance from the airport.

Staff were excellent, both with communication about how to find and access the room and in getting the place ready for us. I would stay there again based on this and the comfort of the apartment alone. The air conditioning was excellent. The apartment was clean and comfortable with a partial view of the KK bay, blocked by the shopping mall. It is located close to a boardwalk, convenience store, hotel room and a few restaurants. It is a 15 minute drive from the KK airport and within a short drive to most nearby attractions The apartment is very comfortable and spacious. Has a cooking area, washing machine, tank water, water filter, fridge/freezer, kettle, TV and Wifi. The couch is comfortable and there is air conditioning in every room. The bedding and towels were good quality and very comfortable. The owner has put a lot of effort into making the place feel like home. We are a couple but this would be a great place for a medium to large size family to stay.

The stay was perfect — the house was clean, and the kitchen amenities were complete. It would have been even better if there was an oven or air fryer. Ceon was very helpful throughout our stay. The place is also elderly-friendly, with a working lift and easy access to the unit. It's within walking distance to the Pasar Filipin for shopping and Todak Waterfront for enjoying seafood.

We stayed for one night and the experience was good. The host is very friendly and helpful. The location is good as well, just the opposite of Marriott Hotel, and you can find the restaurants easily around the hostel. Overall, it is a good choice for a group people looking for a comfortable place with a budget price.

It was a clean & neat homestay. Cosy too. Unfortunately there was no water supply at night. They were having maintenance on that day but the tenant has provided us 2 pails of 60 litres of water for our hygiene. It was sufficient enough. By the by, it was a great stay for us. Love the house & location very convenient.

We stayed for 1 night at KK with 6 adults. The place was easy to find and near the shopping area, which was very convenient for walking distance shopping. Mr. Lee was a great and friendly host who accommodated us well during our stay.

1. Excellent location - right across the road from a large and modern mall and also the Jesselton Pier. 2. Service - everyone we met (Reception, concierge, roof-top bar, dinner restaurant, breakfast restaurant) were super-friendly, genuine and did everything to make us feel welcome and comfortable. 3. Best buffet breakfast we had in a long time in a buzzy top floor restaurant with amazing views. 4. Outdoor rooftop infinity pool - You must make time to experience this!

I cannot fault this Hotel. Best hotel I ever stayed in in all of my travels. We had the biggest room on level 5 with a walk in wardrobe. The breakfast buffet had the most amazing selections to cater to all taste and to top it all, the menu had something different everyday. Every single day. And the fruits and chilled food were all kept in refrigerated coolers which made me feel safe to eat - hygienic and fresh. The staff were all amazing and friendly. The whole hotel was very clean. The bar and pool were excellent - great entertainment and food. Pool was great. Location was perfect. Shopping mall was just across the road and good location to catch a boat to the islands. And best of all, when I lost my ring in the pool, they did everything they could to locate it. It was finally found by another kind patron (thank you whoever you are) after we had flown out of the country. But the amazing staff at Hyatt Centric organised the return of my ring back to Australia. What hotel does that? None - only Hyatt Centric KK. We are booking this place again next time - for sure. Fantastic hotel. The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and well planned. The staff were very friendly, attentive, polite and professional. The bed was very comfortable. The pool on the 23rd floor is just amazing with a view of the water on one side and Mt. Kinabalu on the other. Beautiful bar with wonderful staff and very good cocktails on the 23rd floor as well. Very well located within walking distance of many good restaurants and shops. This hotel is exceptional value for money and one of the best we’ve had the pleasure of staying in as of late. Highly recommended.

The location was perfect!! Right opposite a really big shopping mall, the staff were amazing and really accommodating. The pool view was beautiful, breakfast was amazing and so many options to choose from, my room was exceptional and the bed was extremely comfortable. I did book the sea view but I do wish I had booked the mountain view instead as the sea view wasn’t that great, other than that everything was absolutely incredible.

With stunning views of the city and an incredible variety of dishes from different cuisines, it’s easily the best breakfast we’ve had during our trip across Asia. Highly recommended for those who appreciate style, comfort, and top-notch service!

DEFINITELY book this place. The rooms are spotlessly clean, modern, and feel quite luxurious for the reasonable price! The rain shower was awesome and the complimentary toiletries were of nice quality too. The bed was by far the most comfortable I have had in Borneo. If you've just come from a stint in the jungle, this is the kind of place that feels like a real treat. The neighbourhood is quite quiet at night which is great. It's a maximum 25 minute walk to basically everything, and there are some great restaurants and street markets nearby. Although they don't have a front desk the owners can be quickly reached via WhatsApp and are responsive, helpful, and just lovely people. I'd highly recommend giving them your business!

Great location, less than a 10 minute walk to the water front and a comfortable 20 minute walk to Gaya Street. Lots of shops and restaurants surrounding the apartment block. Clean and modern, air con was great and the bed was lovely and comfy. Hosts were very communicative and accommodating - nothing was too much trouble and they were only ever a WhatsApp away. WiFi was also great.

Yes, pretty's on the inside. That would be my best description to describe this property. It looks normal on the outside but you'll be fascinated more once you get in your room. I almost cancelled my booking when i saw the outerior but thankfully i didnt. You even will have to climb up around 3 levels before you reach your room, but i believe this is not a problem for someone who takes care of their health hehe. The building might not seem classy but hey, don't judge the book by its cover okay? I promise it'll reach your expectations. The interior is so classy and i would say it's on the same level of a high class hotel. All the facilities are in good condition. My room was super clean and comfortable. The location is also strategic as you can easily find restaurants and groceries nearby. The customer service is also great. Text them now and they'll reply in the next minute. They guided me even before i arrived to the hotel, sharing their exact location so it was easy to find. They're also always available for help during my stay. Comfortable place, strategic location, and helpful staff. What else do you wish for? They have everything.

The room was so so so nice! The whole place was spotless and clean, so nicely decorated and so spacious ! The toilet roll was soft ! After 3 months of travel this has 100% been the comfiest bed yet, could even be the comfiest bed I've ever stayed on in my life 😅😅 The aircon was cool and quiet ! A tv that actually works !! We've not had a single tv that works when you switch it on , anywhere we stayed in Asia ! The facilities are high tech, touch light switches and light up mirrors Very very easy check in too, host has been great on WhatsApp Plenty of Shops and cafes surrounding the location, so good location and a daily food market outside Did I mention the bed was comfy? Shower, toilet very good and clean. Mirror even has anti-fog heater 6. No elevator, 2 nd floor. Lovely small boutique hotel-style residence. They have 6 rooms in total, each newly renovated, clean, modern, and full of high-quality amenities (toiletries, slippers, tea etc.). Comfy bed and large rain-shower. Staff were wonderful and helpful: we booked last minute and they were able to help us immediately! Location close to good seafood restaurants and quite central.

My stay at A Residence was absolutely enjoyable. The room was warm, stylish, and thoughtfully arranged with everything you might need for a comfortable night. I loved the small gestures — the air conditioner was already running when we arrived, and they provided useful extras like a powerbank, space to store our luggage, several bottles of drinking water, and extra toiletries. The service was truly commendable. Shortly after check-in, the host sent a message to ask if everything was satisfactory — a rare courtesy that really stood out. The room came with excellent features, including efficient air conditioning, a strong shower, a spotless bathroom, a secure drawer, and a fridge. The location is very convenient for moving around Kota Kinabalu. One thing to note is that there’s no lift, so you’ll need to use the stairs to reach your room. It wasn’t a major issue, just something to keep in mind. There was also a bit of noise from a nearby pub on the first night, but they had already provided earplugs, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, a clean, cozy, and well-managed place to stay. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting KK.

It was exactly like the pictures. This is luxury at a low budget. It was clean, smelled clean. Everything functioning except the leaking pipe issue which was resolved very efficiently and quickly. Everything was provided. There's also an ample amount of sunlight via the window. It's good for someone who needs sunlight like me. Tea, coffee provided. The toilet paper quality really impressed me haha... Another exceptional thing was the owners and staff responded quickly and were super helpful. I was very well taken care of, something most five star facilities don't necessarily have. Very convenient location with eateries around and near the waterfront.

Location is central and very near to shopping malls and restaurants within short walking distance (5 to 10 minutes) The room is clean with a good wifi network and ample utilities provided. There is a split toilet and bathroom. Make it convenient to use both at the same time. There is a cafe and small bars around the place as well.

☆- The location was wonderful, literally opposite Imago Mall. ☆ - The room was amazing, incredibly clean, and very spacious. ☆ - The bathroom had a separate lavatory, seperatebrainfall shower(probaby one of the most spacious ive seen in a hotel), and bathtub (with a neat window divider feature that could open up), plus the water pressure was really strong. ☆ - The staff were super friendly and helpful. The security even greeted my girlfriends plushie, which was a fun moment. ☆ - The bed is incredibly comfortable. ☆ - Room design and amenities are wonderful. ☆ - There was paid parking for guests (RM30 for overnight), which was super convenient and very affordable.

Nice small cozy hotel in the heart of KK. With good eateries and convenient stores downstairs. There’s a mall within walking distance. You can see that the developer of the hotel really takes pride in all the small details by marrying modern day architecture and nature with wood fixtures and furnitures. Almost every item in the guest room has their logo on it which I feel symbolizes a certain amount of class and attention to detail. For such a small hotel, the rooms are actually very spacious and especially the toilets having a bathtub and ample space for the shower cubicle. The even had mini shoe shine polish which was a nice touch. Although the breakfast was small, but it was sufficient for us and we were happy with the mixed selection of western and local food. Overall, everything was great but if I can only provide one feedback, is that maybe the breakfast staff should prompt the guests that there is a ‘live egg station’ at the alfresco area as it was a bit hidden in the corner and I noticed majority of the guests did not know about it. But as I mentioned, everything else was superb. All the staff from the door to the restaurant were warm and friendly. Keep up the good work.

Stayed at Luma Hotel Kota Kinabalu and overall had a pleasant experience. Here are some highlights and observations: - Room and bath area were very spacious, with a nice bathtub. - Welcome amenities were a thoughtful touch. - Room was very well maintained, though we noticed fingerprints on the mugs and coffee machine. - Coffee machine had glue stains from old stickers—could be cleaner. - Soundproofing was average; some noise from outside. - Mattress wasn’t to our liking—could be improved for better comfort. - Would be great to have a night light option in the room. - Parking is roadside, so keep that in mind. - Convenient location near the airport. - Staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Overall, a good stay with spacious rooms and great service. A few small cleanliness and comfort issues, but nothing major.

The hotel is very pretty and I love the interior design. The room is also very spacious and very cozy. It was very clean, even the bathroom was spotless. The best part about Luma is that it is located very near to a lot of really nice eateries, apart from their own restaurant. There is Hinode, Kopi Ping, and Guan Kopitiam. Every day you can try different foods. The location is also very convenient to head to Imago Shopping Mall, Tanjung Aru Beach, Sutera Harbour, and the waterfront. Had a really amazing vacation here at Luma Hotel, Kota Kinabalu.

First time to LUMA, but for sure not the first Design Hotel experience, so we know (unlike some reviewers) that Marriott Bonvoy benefits are limited. Check in friendly, no upgrade proactively offered (as the only upgraded rooms are family rooms anyway), but we loved our room with a gorgeous bathtub and shower side by side, lots of space, and incredibly clean. Strangely the room lacks a window and the hotel is sort of sandwiched inside a huge apartment and office building, so it's not really a stand-alone building, feels more like an AirBnB almost. We had breakfast in the lobby coffee shop which is very nice but seriously overpriced. Parking is offered, but we made the mistake of parking on the back street (for free) which is actually not very safe with a shanty-town just next door- better to pay for the garage in this case. Aside from the limited benefits, this is a nice boutique hotel and really doesn't feel like a Marriott property at all.

I had a really pleasant stay at Hilton Kota Kinabalu. The reception team was warm and professional, and check-in was quick and easy. My room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, everything felt well cared for and thoughtfully designed. Breakfast at Urban Kitchen was excellent, with a wide variety of food and friendly service. The Executive Lounge was another highlight, quiet, relaxing, and with great views of the city. The gym was well-equipped, clean, and open early, which made it easy to fit in a good workout during my stay. The hotel has a calm, modern ambience and a convenient location, close to restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. Overall, a great stay with genuine hospitality and attention to detail. I’d happily come back again.

We had a great stay at the Hilton Kota Kinabalu. The hotel is modern and well-equipped, with a central location and excellent facilities. Our room was spacious and comfortable, though it lacked a bit of personality. The real highlight was the staff. Ain and Kaflik from the restaurant were fantastic—always kind, attentive, and smiling during our dinners. Jonathen at the concierge desk gave us great local tips and made us feel very welcome. We also want to thank the executive lounge staff, who were consistently friendly and made us feel at home. A solid, comfortable stay made truly memorable by the warm and professional team.

A stunning hotel, the pool, gym and sauna are modern and spotless. Our room was upgraded and was spacious and maintained beautifully. We loved the waterfall shower and huge bed. We got room service and didn’t expect much but the vegan burger was hot and so tasty. Just the luxury we needed after climbing Mount Kinabalu!

Comfortable and spacious room. Fresh and clean linen and towels. Friendly and helpful front desk staffs. They allow us for late check-out, giving us time to perform afternoon prayer. Great facilities and food. My friend and I love the steam room. Had the opportunity to watch tea-pulling while having breakfast buffet.

Loved the large family suite, very spacious, clean and comfortable. Very convenient location for the airport. Torrential rain meant we couldn't use the pool. We were glad to find there was a restaurant right next door for dinner so we didn't have to get too wet, as there is no restaurant or bar at the hotel itself.

We chose the hotel because of its proximity to the KK airport as we had a very early morning flight. It proved a great choice as it is located just 7 minutes from the airport by car. Facilities are excellent. The rooms are spacious and modern, featuring a sofa, a desk, coffee machine, slippers, toiletries, clothes steamer, fridge, microwave, bath robes, shower and bathtub. Incredibly comfortable bed matress, possibly the best one we've ever slept on! The hotel offers laundry service upon request. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is also an infinite swimming pool and gym that we didn't get to use.

Smooth check-in. Strategic location where you can see airplanes taking off and near to Tanjung Aru beach. Spacious room. Clean toilet. Nice bath tub. Delicious rendang ayam with rice and nasi lemak for breakfast, even better if hotel had its own cafe to serve buffet. Security guards were friendly in advising me on how to use the automated car park especially using the car lift. Convenient coz I didn't have to drive around to find car parking bay.

The location for us was perfect as we had a hire car and airport was nearby. The pool was amazing a great view of city and for plane watching :) Comfortable bed, however the quilt is not big enough. Ensuite was good. Great selection of restaurants and laundromat within walking distance. Automated car parking was great, There is daily room service available. The staffs we all very good and helpful. Breakfast supplied with room rate was Ok.

We love the spacious balcony with a great view of the city & also the sea. Love the big bathtub & swimming pool as well. The room is very big, comfy & clean. And the automated car parking space is very convenient, don't have to worry about limited car space and safety issue. Definitely a great and wonderful experience staying here. Well recommended.

Lovely hotel! We stayed one night on the way to the jungle and afterwards 5 nights (was supposed to be 6 but flight from Lahad Datu was cancelled because it got dark!). First room was Tanjung wing sea view, a very nice and comfortable room, and longer stay was Kinabalu wing deluxe suite, which was absolutely stunning! The view, the terrace, bathroom with the bathtub facing the sea, the room itself, a very comfortable bed and good enough blackout curtains. We enjoyed everything. The hotel is very clean, everything works well, personnel friendly, attentive, professional, really nice people ☺️. We could have had breakfast in the lounge but ended up going to the restaurant Tatu every morning, the hotel was not so crowded when we stayed. We had nice table in the terrace corner every morning and Addy made the perfect coffee, thank you! Also excellent staff, thank you everyone (especially Sulzana) for letting us enjoy our breakfast times fully ❤️. The lounge had nice selection of tasty snacks given times, good coffee, cold beer and also lovely personnel, thank you 😊. Couple of times had lunch at Tatu, good selection of food. Also had twice lunch at Coco-Joe’s, tasty food, cold beer, good atmosphere and very nice staff. Also we had the Malam Kampung buffet dinner, good food and good show, can recommend. Location excellent, nice tranquil atmosphere and still very close to the city. So thank you everyone, you made our trip to Borneo memorable ❤️

Booked from the Hotel website for a 2 nights stay from 17-19 March 2025, to attend a relative’s birthday dinner. From the airport , It took approximately 15 mins drive through some condo buildings, restaurant and yacht club to arrive at the Resort driveway. Porters are very attentive to help carry our luggages , check-in was a breeze at the front desk. Room 333 is fully equipped with all necessary amenities. It is Cosy , spacious with a big balcony and relaxing with garden and beach view. We opt for the ala carte dinner at Borneo Lounge , food and service is faultless. Tatu breakfast is exclusively spread out with Korean, Japanese, Malaysian and Western varieties of menus. The event at Pavilion Ballroom foay event was well organized. Sound system is good , services are great. The Ballroom has a 360 degree view of the beach , unfortunately the weather is cloudy thus we could not view the sunset. All in all it’s a great stay, however it would be great to have an escalator or lift from the Lobby to the Tatu Café, as the stairs are too much to walk through for some seniors !!!

This was our first siblings trip, and it completely exceeded our expectations! From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were in awe of its beauty. Check-in with Wen Lim was seamless, quick, and very informative—an excellent start to our stay. Our room was stunning—spacious and comfortable, even with an extra bed set up. The balcony was impressively large and perfect for relaxing. Our favorite outlet was definitely the Borneo Lounge. Velinda, Angeline, and Bece Ann delivered impeccable service every time. The live band playing each night created such a peaceful atmosphere, and the drinks and food were top-notch. The pool was the biggest we’ve ever seen! We rented a cabana for an afternoon, and it was totally worth it—relaxing and luxurious. The ice cream bar was a delightful treat, serving delicious options that we couldn’t get enough of. Breakfast each morning was a highlight. Greeted with big smiles from Mr. Majid, Addy, and Adnan, we felt so welcome. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor seating with its beautiful sea view—it was the perfect way to start the day. We settled our bill the day before departure, and once again, everything went smoothly thanks to Alyssa. None of us wanted to leave. We made such incredible memories and can’t wait to return!

Stayed for three nights after attending my niece’s wedding at their sister hotel Shangri-La Rasa Ria. Check in was smooth and given a room immediately. The room had a sea view but felt a bit lifeless. When relaxing in the Horizon Club with our G&T and beer I looked at other rooms available which seemed to have better sea views with a bit more life. Leng (I think that was her name) was very professional and extremely patient with us as she showed us several rooms before opting for the Kinabalu Wing Deluxe Seaview Suite. This room is amazing with a large balcony and two bathrooms. We requested for a fan and on returning to our room there was a fan as well as a complimentary bottle of prosecco. Breakfast was quite busy but the selection was varied and lots to choose from including fried dumplings, curries, nasi lamak, chicken and duck with rice station, rice, noodles and much much more. Fresh fruit juice and fresh fruits with self service hot drinks. Horizon club was nice with a small selection of canapes, alcohol and soft drinks. All staff are extremely friendly and professional.

Large comfortable and clean rooms. Glad we paid the extra for the sea view room - had a beautiful balcony in our room in the peaceful Kinabalu wing that was great for watching the sunset. Staff very helpful and friendly. Nice breakfast buffet. Convenient for the airport.
