Wow, we loved this place! We booked the one bedroom but the guests extended their stay so the owner put us in the two bedroom apartment at no extra cost. It is beautiful and modern and just perfect. He was friendly and helpful. The location in Old Town was great and safe (although, all of Kotor felt safe, in addition to beautiful.) There is a self service laundry that was great and it was a quiet building. Wifi worked great and beds were comfy. Cannot think of one thing that could have been better. We are on a 1.5 month trip and this was our favorite stay so far.

My two friends and I recently spent 3 nights in the lovely, Old Town of Kotor, Montenegro. We had the pleasure of staying at D & Sons Apartments, which enjoy a very convenient location, nestled right up near the entrance to the City Walls and a very short distance to the Old Town's northern gate from which you can easily access a local bakery and two supermarkets. Drazen, the owner, was very friendly and helpful and had done an excellent job renovating our 2-bdr, 2-ba apartment with all the modern conveniences. The dining/kitchen area was on the small side, but the bedrooms were very spacious with balconies and plenty of natural light. The apartment was very clean and well-appointed with gleaming, granite tile floors (just make note of the step down from the hallway to the kitchen floor). Drazen and his family have obviously put in a lot of hard work creating a very modern, comfortable, and affordable accommodation experience for his guests, and I feel they have succeeded. I would definitely stay at D & Sons again. Thank you, Drazen!

We got apartment number 2 (2 bedrooms). It's a really nice apartment with spacious bedrooms and rhe place was clean. The host was friendly and helpful too. Loved having some wine in the balcony and enjoying the music from all the bars! Ir does go dead quiet at 1.00am so sleep was good too

Location was perfect. So many restaurants and bars all around. Aircon in both bedrooms was brilliant. Very clean and modern accommodation. Easy contactless check-in and check-out process. Despite all the bars and restaurants, no noise could be heard in the apartment at all. Host was very amenable.

We traveled with two adult sons and one daughter-in-law. The apartment was spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, and in a perfect location inside the city gates. Each of the 2 bedrooms had a great view of historic Kotor. The host was friendly and available for any questions.He warned us ahead of time of the nightlife noise (music and people) but that everything would quiet down at 1:00. We slept comfortably and soundly with the aid of sound machine apps on our phones. The entry door was accessed by a key fob. Parking nearby was $20 per day, but we felt it was worth being able to stay in the walled city.

Rara is an exceptional host—welcoming, kind, and incredibly helpful. The apartment is in a perfect location, impeccably clean, warm, and very secure. Situated right within the castle, all the charming cafes and restaurants are just a short walk away. Thanks to Rara’s wonderful recommendations, we discovered some truly amazing places. He went above and beyond to assist us with everything. We are deeply grateful and will definitely return again!

The host was very helpful and available, giving us great tips for sightseeing, beaches and restaurants. The breakfast recommendation we received from the host turned out to be our favourite for the entire trip! The apartment was very clean and has a perfect location, easily reachable in 2 minutes by foot from the city gate. It was directly situated in the lively centre with all attractions, souvenir shops etc. nearby. The host arranged a secure and free parking spot outside the city gates for us, which is a rare find in Kotor. There was also fresh fruit and water awaiting us in the apartment, which was a welcome suprise! I used earplugs all nights and slept very well. There was no unreasonable noise at late hours that one could not have expected from the central location.

Perfect location, very comfortable matress, duvets, pillows, coffee, tea, water in the room, parking 300 m from accommodation, all needed facilities and comfort. Very clean and luxury. Amazing host with all information provided in advance and valuable recommendations on spot, thank you Rara! If I visit Kotor again - definitely will choose same location!

Everything was perfect here! Our host, Rara, was very easy to contact and gave us clear directions to our complemtary car parking facilties outside the old town, which was a short walk to the apartment. He came and met us there, gave us excellent tips on food and where to go walking, etc. The apartment itself was spotless, comfortable, well stocked with fruit, towels, toiletries, smelled really nice and was quiet. The location is perfect (but so is anywhere in the old town as it’s quite a concentrated area so you can’t really go wrong in my opinion!). When we left after two nights, Rara gave us good recommendations for food and places to visit in our next destination, so he went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience in Montenegro 🇲🇪 10/10 brilliant, picturesque townhouse apartment.

Great location in the buzzing old town of Kotor. The rooms were surprisingly very quiet - a lovely roomy, airy and comfortable place to escape to. The beds were very good and everything was very clean. There was a large fridge in the kitchen and bottles of cold water for us. The host Rara was so helpful with lots of information about things going on in Kotor. He also helped us with a little washing as we were running out of clothes. There were lots of nice places to eat. We liked Taraca, just outside the old town, which was very popular. Nearby is the start of the walk up the side of the steep hill up to the abandoned village with its ruined church which is well worth the strenuous climb. There are great views above Kotor from there.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in mid-September. I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at this hotel. This is a lovely hotel in a great location. The hotel is in the old town which is very convenient to easily walk to many tourist sites and meeting points for day tours to other areas of Montenegro. The mountain and old town views from the restaurant’s terrace and my room’s balcony were stunning. The room was very clean, smelled good and of a decent size. The bed was comfortable enough. The pillows were a bit too thick for me. The room had many amenities including a small refrigerator, flat screen TV, hair dryer, coffee/tea maker & plenty of electric sockets. The wi-fi was free and worked very well. The room is soundproof, so I didn’t hear the music from the restaurants below when the balcony doors were shut. There is a clock tower in the square/plaza where the hotel is located, that rings once every hour. Once I fell asleep, I didn’t hear the bells. I am not sure if the bells stopped ringing throughout the night or that I couldn’t hear them because I was sleeping. Basically, I did sleep well at the hotel. The breakfast was good with many cold and hot options. I enjoyed breakfast every morning on the terrace with beautiful views of the Old Town and mountains. The staff was professional, friendly, patient, and helpful. The staff made me feel welcomed and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

The staff is extremely attentive, helpful, polite, friendly and efficient. We were staying there for 3 nights, and after a very warm welcome and quick check-in, were given a big room with a balcony overlooking the square below, but the A/C in the room was not cooling to our satisfaction.. they immediately had the maintenance guys check it.. but since we still didn’t feel satisfied after our first night in the room, they changed our room next day, which was much cooler and made our next two days of stay comfortable. The hotel is very clean and very well-maintained. I was specially very happy with the hygiene standards, particularly of the bathrooms. Breakfast was catered to our individual preferences.. the head waiter was polite and appeasing. Assistance by front-desk staff for everything from local guidance to PCR testing to arranging for luggage cart to the parking lot.. was all impeccable! Overall, I would give maximum points to staff for making it a lovely stay for us. The location of hotel is also excellent : strategically very close to gate one.

From start to finish this hotel and staff were amazing. It was clean and luxurious. Amazing location. Strong consistent wifi which is not always a given. Staff were very courteous and nothing was too much for them. The member of staff who did our airport transfers was courteous and conscientious in making sure we made it through customs in good time and planned our transfer. Breakfast was great and the roof top Terrace was fantastic. We left the hotel before breakfast was available and the staff made us packed meals to take with us without us asking for them. The room was very comfortable. Excellent working aircon too. Great resort and will definitely visit again soon.

The location was perfect. Right off the main square/entrance to Old Town, but quiet. The bed was firm and very comfortable. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The restaurant had a lovely area to sit outside with amazing service from the staff. Breakfasts were delicious with a wide variety of meats and cheeses, fruit, cereal, breads and croissants, and juices, coffee, and tea.

Staff was friendly. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Location was great. Breakfast was delicious. We asked for rooms with view. They free upgraded us to junior suites with a view. That’s very kind of them. Also, when we check out the hotel, they gave us little gifts to remember the hotel. The experience we had here was exceptional. Thanks for everything.

The hotel has a great location on the main square of the historic core / walled old town. It's in a historic building, but the inside is thoroughly modern and renovated (and includes an elevator - first we'd encountered after half dozen other places on our Croatia trip). Our junior suite was spacious and comfortable, with lovely view over the square. Furnishings were all high quality. Breakfast buffet was nice, and included gluten-free bread for my celiac husband. Staff were all very helpful.

A beautiful boutique hotel right in the centre of the old town. It's a perfect location to explore Kotor from. The room we stayed in was exceptional, so clean and enormous! The breakfast was good, there was a lovely variety of fresh fruit, veggies and pastries each morning. We had to leave before breakfast on our final day and the hotel kindly arranged a 'takeaway' breakfast that we could bring with us on our journey. I highly recommend Hotel Vardar for a stay in Kotor!

The staff was amazing and helpful. Our room was very big and impeccably clean. The hotel is located in the heart of Kotor old town. Breakfast was good, with nice selection and very tasty. I also recommend the spa in the hotel, I got a perfect massage. The transfer provided by hotel was reasonably priced and comfortable.

This is the perfect location if you want to accommodation at kotor old city. Very beautiful and a comfortable place to stay. If you enjoy music, there is always something played for you. You will find lots of cafe, restaurants, take-away and bars near to the stay. This apartment has all the amenities for a peaceful stay. I will strongly recommend this place to stay. This hotel is in the center of the old town of Kotor, right next to the most important spots in the city. The location is amazing. The room was big, comfortable and very clean. The views from the window were beautiful. The hosts were great, really helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location. Perfect for exploring Kotor and seeing the cats.. It was quiet with the shutters closed at night, and during the day I enjoyed hearing the the sounds from the streets below. Great bar/restaurant on the square, friendly. Kitchen and bathroom were modern and well equipped. We particularly liked having the water cooler.

The staff and volunteers make the experience—friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. What I enjoyed about this place was a mix of travelers—young, old, and anyone and everyone in between. It’s very inclusive. The location is also perfect—imagine waking up to a view of the Kotor Bay. Peaceful, calming, and beautiful. I had my coffee every morning with this view. Plus, Kotor is small and the old town is literally across the street. So if you want a charming and peaceful stay away from the hustle and bustle of the old town, yet close enough to literally walk over, this is the perfect place.

LOCATION: close to the bus station, grocery store, Old Town, park, beach, the best BBQ place, and most meeting points for grouptours. RECEPTION: the staff are very informative and helpful with queries It is a very peaceful hostel considering that it is shared with multiple people. The bathroom and showers are clean everyday. They also offer you clean sheets, pillowcase, and towel the day you check in - which I think is very assuring that everything is new and clean. They also have benches outside that are perfect to just hang out and drink the free coffee from the kitchen or smoke (if you are a smoker) while enjoying the view of the old town and the mountains.

Very comfortable and spacious bed, with curtains which was nice for privacy. Very spacious and clean rooms and common areas. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. Staff were very friendly and helpful and provided lots of useful information about the area. Very close to the Old Town and the hostel itself is situated right next to the harbour which is a lovely view. There is an area you can sunbathe and swim just five minutes from the hostel if you walk left along the harbour, less crowded than Kotor's main beach.

Super clean, cozy, and friendly environment. The hostel is so well-located, but the highlights and stars are the kind and helpful staff. Nina is the best, so smiley and full of energy, you will love her introduction; she literally gives you a lesson like in school, so get on board because she will give you the best tips to ENJOY the city. The other two guys are also so helpful and friendly with positive vibes. Thanks you all! I had a good time, and I even extended one more night because of the place and city. More highlights: no noise, supermarket crossing the corner, best bbq, breakfast, and burgers at 150m, and the bus station is next to the hostel just to say it like that. Ask for all details at the reception, they will help you not to skip a detail even before preparing your stuffs for your next destination.

Pretty much everything was wonderful. Very clean and organized, perfect location with the best view and professional staff - very friendly and always ready to help. An amazing and comfortable place to rest, meet new friends and easily move around. Highly recommended if you are looking for an unforgettable experience. 5 stars for the receptionists, I will definitely miss everyone I met there and hopefully I will be back soon

Amazing location, right in the old town but still quiet. Just 10 mins away from bus station. My room was clean and cosy. Perfect AC, comfy bed, everything you need for a perfect stay in Kotor.

The location was great, on the quiet side of old town, handy to reach from the Southern gate. The personnel was very friendly and attending, all our needs were met. The room was quiet, clean and cool, with a bit of historical touch and details. Good shower and affordable laundry service. Nice restaurants around the corner, good recommendations from the team. A short distance to cathedral and entrance to the castle. Great antique shop and youthful bars further down the street (out of sight and sound).

Amazing location in the old town, very nice room with a seaview. Most important of all, very clean and comfortable. Staff was super attentive and kind. Rooms have refrigerator and cups / spoons / coffee and there is a fully equipped kitchen at the entry level. Staff was always available via whatsapp for questions and advice before and during the trip, very helpful and friendly.

One of the greatest I've ever stayed at, felt like home since the moment I entered the room. Located at the heart of the old town, close to everything by easily walking around. The room was clean, spacious, the brick walls gave it a cozy unique atmosphere which made the stay a pleasure. One more interesting fact about the room which I think is worth mentioning: it was extremely quiet! There were loud pubs on the narrow street, I didn't hear a single sound in my room. Deadly silence. The shower was nice and clean. The staff was kind and helped with any question. I would definitely come back and recommend!

We had a fabulous stay at Antika Guesthouse Nikola and the staff were amazing - we tried to stay longer at the last minute but couldn’t, and were very helpful finding us an alternative at the last minute. We could speak highly enough of the staff. Perfect location. In the heart of Old Town Kotor - great restaurants and bars with plenty to see and do. I can happily recommend the comfortable rooms which have everything you require

The Hotel is in a perfect location, staff were friendly and very helpful. Delicious food in their restaurant, I loved having breakfast every morning and enjoyed dinner, coffee and deserts in the courtyard area of the hotel restaurant in the evenings. Thank you to all the staff for making my stay so memorable . I had the most amazing time during my stay. Will definitely go back there.

The room was most spacious, with a desk and chair, living area with two arm chairs and coffee table, and a large comfortable bed. Great closets. Everything was spotless. The bathroom had marble walls and floor, giving it that old time glam. It was spacious also. I had a lovely view out of the windows over the street below, but did not get any street noise. The restaurant is excellent; and the breakfast was superb. Air con was great. So was the elevator. The hotel provides a special parking pass for a lot that is just outside the old town walls. The whole process of parking and walking to the hotel was very easy. Finally, the staff were so attentive and helpful. Marjiana (sp?) at the front desk helped me to figure out the best way to leave town, which border crossing to use, and what road to use to drive towards Mostar.

Perfect location right in the center of Kotor. We had come for my partners birthday, we had the balcony suite. The room was large and spacious, very clean and great wifi and air conditioning. They had live music playing outside and it was lovely sitting on the balcony at night enjoying a glass of wine. The restaurant was as very good we had the seafood salad, would recommend. I had asked the hotel to get some Balloons for my partners birthday and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Made his birthday one of the bests. Will definitely stay here again. They very nice staff also helped us get a taxi back to Dubrovnik. All around amazing place to stay.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel in terms of decor and very different style to anything I have been in - it is like a luxury cave for royalty! Nice air conditioned rooms, large bed and two windows (we were in a junior suite) spacious modern bathroom (little storage area) Tv and lovely sofa area. The hotel itself is down one of the side streets off the main square and because of how it is located in the wall, there aren’t a lot of rooms and therefore not a lot of people bustling around. However, because of the walls and floor noise does carry unfortunately but we were out early every day so this didn’t bother us massively. The restaurant has a good choice of food (all ordered and no buffet, and breakfast is restricted to a certain amount of items). Disappointed (and as was the case with all of Montenegro) there were limited vegetarian options (spaghetti and salad) despite this being recommended as a vegetarian restaurant. Having said this, the food was delicious and I did ask for some tweaks to the dish and they were happy to accommodate. If you are vegan though prepare to eat toast and salad only (and they have no milk alternatives). As a nice touch, you could eat breakfast in your room, in the foyer or outside. Staff were very pleasant and there is someone on the reception 24 hours a day. The only downside, and to be expected given the location, is that there are no amenities (in terms of activities, services or pool) given that it is a 5 star hotel and quite pricey

Amazing location in the middle of old town. We stayed in room 302 and didn't even notice the music outside at between 11:00 PM and 1:00 AM. Very kind staff that was very helpful in arranging a speedboat tour around the bay area and a nicer beach. Exceptional local-produce breakfast served by a very kind man. Anything like omelets or pancakes with ham and cheese could be made per request. The breakfast was located downstairs, outside on a quiet side-street. Very nice atmosphere. During your breakfast the cleaners even got paged to clean your room and provide new towels! Even when we only eat breakfast within 20-30 min. They were like ninjas!

The Boutique Hotel is conveniently located near the North Gate of the city, and near a number of historic sights. This was by far the largest of the rooms we encountered on our European holiday, and very stylish. Water pressure in the shower was amazing. Staff are personable and attentive, and the breakfast was terrific. The rooftop terrace provides a nice rooftop lounge. When rain dampened our dinner plans. we were pleasantly surprised to discover that the hotel features a restaurant with a full dinner menu, and we ended up having one of the finest meals on our trip.

We loved our stay at the Hippocampus. All of the staff we met were really friendly and welcoming. The room was large and comfortable and breakfast was good (although a little more variety would have been welcome). The hotel is in the heart of the old town making it perfect for exploring beautiful Kotor - but it does mean it is noisy at night being next to a bar - the only downside in an otherwise amazing stay.

Amazing hotel with incredible staff trying their best to make their customers happy. Special thank and appreciation to Mr. Ranco who was serving me breakfast every morning. So hospitable, friendly, and a main reason to make my day starts in a good way. The breakfast he was serving was so fresh, trying to let me try different local dishes every morning. The location of the hotel is amazing in the center of the old city. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit Kotor.

I have seen some not so good reviews about this hotel, however… we have throughly enjoyed our stay of three nights here, beds are comfortable, there is some noise from the bars below in the street, but, nothing to keep us awake, all quiet by midnight. ( we were here Monday through to and including Wednesday). Staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming and very helpful during our stay. Definitely would book to stay here again!

Even though we had some issues with our booking, our host, Florina, went out of her way to make sure we felt super welcome, which really made our stay amazing. The hotel is an old castle in a perfect spot within the citadel, offering an incredible view of the sea. Our room was really spacious and could easily fit a whole family. The beds were comfy too. One of the best parts was the private access to a secluded rock beach, where you can enjoy the Adriatic coastline without dealing with the crowds of Ulcinj. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby with awesome views, but I'd definitely recommend the hotel's restaurant. We had the most delicious breakfast there. Plus, our host speaks perfect French, which could be a big help for non-English speakers. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we'll come back for sure !

The hotel was amazing. We loved everything about it. It was located in the Old Town, next to a superb jazz bar. The size of our room was great, it was totally clean, and we loved the decorations! The atmosphere in the hotel itself was exceptional. And the staff was friendly and professional at the same time. The breakfast served at the hotel was diverse. The restaurant was big, too. We did not have any dinner there but I am sure the dishes were great, it was full of people every evening during our stay.

Beautiful hotel in the centre of the old town, exceptional room on the second floor, beautifully furnished, very clean, large comfortable bed, old style elegance with all modern conveniences. Local music went on rather late but we stayed on a Friday night so this was not unusual for a weekend. The restaurant served a fabulous breakfast with friendly attentive staff. The hotel has its own secure parking just outside the city wall a short walk away. They have a buggy to take you there when you check out, we very much appreciated Luka taking us. We look forward to staying here again when we come back to Kotor, so much to see to fit into such a short visit so we have to come back!

The hotel is perfectly located for exploring the squares and alley ways of Kotor. The room was cosy and comfortable, with furniture to sit on and store ones clothes etc. with two shuttered windows overlooking a small square with a jazz bar below. Breakfast was served in a quaint dining room and good a good choice of buffet breakfast.There was also an option for eggs whichever way you like them prepared. All the staff were friendly but professional providing great service!

Beautifully appointed room with king size bed and ample space. Lovely tiled floors, dark polished wood accents, stained glass scenes in the hallways, great view of Kotor Fort and a courtyard below. Opened the windows in our room to the sound of jazz music softly playing downstairs. Wonderful, friendly hosts, full breakfast included. Located in the Old City and walking distance to all shops, restaurants, bars and the entrance to hike to the top of the fort. There is a bar directly below this hotel that remains busy and loud until about 1am. Fortunately for us we were out enjoying dinner and drinks until about that time anyhow. I would absolutely stay here again.

We had two lovely stays here, one at the start of our trip (2 nts) and one at the end (1 night). The host was so lovely, arranged a transfer for us to and from Dubrovnik and was just such friendly and helpful, interesting too, told us loads about the country and various places to visit. The house is gorgeous, a traditional old property in the old town and has been in his family for centuries. He runs it with his twin brother who we didn't meet (at least we don't think we did!). There are some steep steps up to the place, but the location is brilliant, near to plenty of great bars and restaurants, there is a sweet terrace outside to sit and have a drink. the views to the harbour are great from one of the rooms. Decor is very traditional and quaint, but comfy and clean. We loved both our stays there with such a lovely host and would love to return again one day! Kotor is gorgeous!

Perfect location with an amazing view! Very clean, and in the old city so everything is steps away. The host was very nice and helpful with everything and made our trip perfect. He even drove us get to the airport when we left. Absolutely perfect stay, and we will be back many times! This is where you want to stay!

This place had real character and the view from the window really brightened our mornings. It was cosy and comfy with an old-world charm. Don't be put off by the climb up the steps. It really isn't that bad and worth it for the view and peaceful nights. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. He supplied everything we needed and was always very polite.

It's in the middle of the old town but quiet. I found it quite easy, but there are several steps you have to walk up to get there. It's on a hill. The owners are very nice and helpful. My room was clean and cosy with a wonderful view. It had everything you need. If you are a tall person, you may have a problem in the bathroom as it's on the rooftop floor, and you may bump your head on the ceiling. The bed was comfortable.

Clean, beautifully designed interior, cozy. Amazing terrace with an amazing view and area to chill! Kitchen facilities were tought through to the smallest detail - from a high-class coffee machine (loaded with coffee beans regularly) to a blender. The location was the best possible! The personnel was super helpful, friendly and professional!

What an amazing apartment! We received the coordinates of the property well in advance and all the needed information to ensure a smooth check-in process. We were met and greeted upon arrival and escorted to our apartment from the main building reception. The Kotor team was amazing throughout our stay and helped us with everything we needed; very kind and friendly. Newly renovated property, perfect accommodation for our family of 7 adults. Two spacious bedrooms downstairs and two upstairs. Super comfortable beds, kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. The terrace was awesome! The property is in the heart of old town with shops, restaurants, souvenir stores, and entrance to Kotor fortress and city walls hike. Thank you once again for your hospitality, we hope to come back to Kotor nest in the near future :) Highly recommended!

We stayed at the Kotor Nest for two nights during our visit to Kotor, and overall, it was a lovely experience. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Kotor’s Old Town, making it easy to explore the historic sites, shops, and restaurants. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kotor, especially if you want to be right in the center of everything. It’s perfect for those who enjoy a mix of history, comfort, and convenience.

Super comfy bed, clean space. We loved that the room clean was not everyday but rather one refresh of the room during our stay. The coffee machine in the hallway was a perfect addition to the place. We loved coffee on our balcony in the morning sun!

Location, Location, Location 100m from the main gate to the old town, bars and restaurants within 25m of the front door, We had to check in a little earlier than their stated 14h as we had a boat trip booked, which was not a problem, we called them when we arrived at 13h and they arrived within a couple of minutes, although our room took 20 or so minutes to finalise, it was not an issue as we popped out for a nearby coffee, returning 20 minutes later and our room was ready. The staff were friendly and professional. Lovely room, nice decorated with a comfy bed and cold AC, bathroom was adequate with plentiful hot water. The added extra of shared kitchen & living room facilities on each floor was a bonus we were not expecting, although we only stayed one night, so didn't really get to use it, other than using the wine glasses. nevertheless this is a nice additional facility. We had a good night sleep and the room was nice and quiet, a little noise from the floor above (no more than footsteps) but it is an old building so no more than one would expect. Good value for money in the heart of Kotor old town We would definitely recommend and if we ever return to Kotor would look to stay here again

We recently stayed at Wine House in Old Town Kotor, and we had a wonderful experience. The apartments are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the location is perfect. We were within walking distance of all the shops, restaurants, and attractions in the old town. The staff at Wine House was incredibly friendly and helpful. Antonio, who works the front desk, was especially helpful. He gave us great information on the old town, including its history and where to shop and eat. Our three teenaged kids loved the apartments. They had their own space to relax and unwind, and they enjoyed exploring the old town. We can't wait to return to Wine House in the future. Staff was very professional & friendly. Antonio has been responsive quickly to all my queries & request (like airport transfer, free print out of our bus tickets & boarding passes) before, during & after our trip. Mert was very accomodating, he even drove us to the airport upon request. Location of the apartment was central, few steps to everything one must see or visit in Old Town Kotor. Easy to locate, very accessible. And near to most restaurants, cafes & tourist spots. Clean, spacious room, tiny size of toilet & bathroom & lack of lift due to being low-rise property were not an issue. Below the apartment was the Patisserie, perfect to have coffee!

Perfect location in the heart old town. Beautiful good maintained old historic building with bricks wall. Room very charming and comfortable. I was lucky got studio with balcony. Apartments Wine House Old Town is a boutique hotel within a 12th century building within the medieval town of Kotor. The location is superb close to the North City  Gate and also near the restaurant and bar area. It can be noisy at night due to its central location, but we found that it quietened down before midnight. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The host was very friendly, welcoming, informative and helpful.  We recommend staying at Apartments Wine House Old Town.

The location is excellent, very convenient for exploring the old town. The apartment is spotless and well-maintained. All the staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. Although there’s no elevator, the staff helped carry our luggage both upon arrival and departure — truly outstanding service. We were very impressed with the hotel’s cleanliness, service, and attention to guests’ needs. Highly recommended! Moreover, the patisserie by Wine House is absolutely delicious — definitely something you shouldn’t miss when visiting Kotor! Everything was freshly made, from the pastries to the coffee. A perfect stop to relax and enjoy a sweet treat while exploring the old town.

The main thing to say is that the location of the accommodation is perfect. Right in the old town so everything, including the shops, restaurants, little beach, port and bus station, are all within walking distance. It is very difficult to locate and unfortunately we couldn't get through by phoning but we asked someone in a restaurant and he actually took us and then called the contact. The room is spacious and had a large, comfortable double bed. The bedding/towels were clean but there could have been a bit more attention to detail with the cleaning (especially the toilet!). There was plenty of storage space and the kitchenette was useful for hot drinks, breakfast and the fridge but otherwise very basic. Given how expensive Kotor is to eat out, this might be an issue for some but not for us. The property contact was very quick to answer WhatsApp messages and very helpful. We had no issues with the WiFi or aircon. Overall, we really enjoyed our 10 night stay here and it was very good for what we paid for an end Sept/beginning of Oct stay.

The location is perfect, right behind the Cathedral so you wake up with the Bells and amazing view! The apartment is in an old building so it feels like you are living in that era. It had everything you need: kitchenette (thank you for the complimentary wine), very comfy bed, great shower, cute little garden shared with another apartment. The owners were very helpful and supportive.

Alja and Sedat were amazing! Prompt with WhatsApp messages, directions and assuring we made it into the apartment ok. The courtyard was so beautiful and serene, a perfect place to have your morning tea or a glass of wine in the evening. The apartment gas been updated. The shower was great and the bed was extremely comfortable, the A/C was great! The apartment was very well thought out…every single detail! It truly has been our favorite place to stay in all of our European travels. Perfectly located right in old town, close to restaurants, bars and always live entertainment right out our front door. They were so kind to leave tea and a bottle of great local cabernet to welcome us, most importantly they had a great sense of humor. 😃

I stayed at Parteli Apartment at the end of April and absolutely loved it there. The location is in the very centre of the old town but still quiet to sleep at night, the place is spacious and super clean, the bed is comfortable and the yard next to the apartment is mesmerising - a little quiet private place to sip your coffee. :) The host is very kind and responds to your messages in no time. I would warmly recommend this place to everyone, you will enjoy it for sure!

Beautiful apartment in an EXCELLENT location right in the old town. Very clean, had everything I needed, quiet location, comfortable bed with nice linens, and the best shower/water pressure I have had in my two months of travel! The host was very responsive and helpful. I wish I could stay longer because it’s such a comfortable and updated apartment. If you’re trying to decide on a place to stay in Kotor, look no further. Highly recommend!

I was really happy with my apartment, it was compact , cosy and had everything I needed. I loved the little private garden where I sat to eat my breakfast. The T.V. had film channels showing English speaking films as well as Sky news and CNN. Mirko - the owner of the apartments is a lovely guy, he tells you about the area and where to eat etc. Mirko was so kind and helpful and genuinely wants you to have a happy stay. It was quite rainy when we arrived and Mirko lent me an umbrella which came in useful. The apartments are in a lovely peaceful spot with stunning scenery and a short walk to the beautiful Old Town. The location was perfect. The best beach is a 20 minute bus ride to Perast and the Pirate Bar beach has really comfortable sun loungers and shower, toilets etc. I had a lovely break at Qualitas Apartments and would definitely stay there again.

Mirko was an exceptional host, the best we’ve had. He was incredibly welcoming, friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. He offered his advice on buses/taxi/beaches/restaurants etc. He gave us extra towels for the beach and his umbrella when it rained. The property itself was very nice. It was in an amazing location (the parking lay-by outside could get bright at night time being near the restaurant). Comfy bed with AC which was a godsend. 10/10.

I realised I'd made a mistake as soon as we arrived. The room - the cheap option - was small, albeit with an oversized shower, and dark, I asked whether we could change to a bigger room and pay the difference (I had booked for six nights). Fortunately, the dupleix was free after three nights. It made all the difference. The place was super spacious, although the shower was oddly smaller than the previous one. There were two balconies to enjoy the view of the marina and the iconic castle opposite. Mirko, our host - a water polo Olympic gold winner - gave us a discount and moved the bags for us while we were out. He also called the cab driver while we were being driven to Tivat airport to make sure we had been picked up. Staying there was the perfect ending to our Balkans holiday. My advice is to book the upstairs apartment with the water view if you can. You can enjoy a takeaway bbq from down the road - highly popular - on the balcony. The rooms are also very quiet. My high scores are based on the large apartment. A day out to Perast is a must. It is improbably pretty and is about a 30-minute bus ride.

The host (Mirko) greeted me with a big warm beaming smile at Tivat airport for the pickup transfer (organised beforehand). Super friendly and even gave me a lift to the bus station as it was raining on checkout. The hosts also live next door & happy to help with anything. Communication via booking.com app was prompt & responsive. Location was excellent. It’s not right inside old town with all the tourists & church bells ringing every hour. Instead it’s about 5 min walk to old town, great view of bay & mountains, close to boat tour meeting points (for blue cave/lady of rock/perast etc tours), small supermarket & great bbq steakhouse (called BBQ Tanjga) nearby. All walking distance. Apartments with amazing water views (see photos below) do face a car park that can get busy. However my apartment was in a small laneway behind which was quiet Although compact, the room is clean & has all the essentials including kettle, mini fridge, luggage rack, hairdryer, good wifi. Shower was a big size with decent water pressure & hot water. Thank you! Kotor is a beautiful city to visit

Host: Mirko was fantastic (and his son and brother). He told great local stories, gave great tips for walking the walls and offered tips for local food spots. What we loved most was their family history - their family have been at this property for 300 years / 5 generations. Location: peaceful, quiet, away from main crowds, views over mountains, great local BBQ restaurant nearby and a swimming spot only 30m away. Room: clean, comfy bed, great shower and lovely outdoor sitting area. We would defiantly stay here again! Thanks Mirko

The apartment is excellent - cosy, clean and very well equipped with a beautiful view on tower clock. It is situated in a very good location, just near the main entrance of the old town, which is suitable for a night out or town sightseeing. With the apartment you get the access to a small balcony where you can sit and enjoy the view on the main sqare. There's a public parking just outside the old town, so you can leave your vehicle there. The host was very nice and helpful and we had great communication with her. Overall a very pleasant and comfortable stay, a definite recommendation!

We had the most perfect stay in Kotor. The room was amazing, as soon as you walked in to the lobby it smelt devine. The room had everything you needed, it was modern, new and clean. The location was also perfect, literally as soon you walk inside the city walls, the apartment was just here. The ladies in the shop were also super helpful and accommodating in checking us in. We had the best view of the square and the clock tower was facing our window. Would go definitly back if we return to Montenegro.

Beautiful little apartment! We arrived in Kotor a little earlier than expected and needed a place to change and get ready as we had a reservation at the beach club, the lovely owner greeted us in the shop where you get your key, reassured us she would help us find a place to freshen up and allowed us to ‘borrow’ the room until check in which we really really appreciated thank you! Can be a little noisy as it is right in the centre square but that’s to be expected with such a perfect location. Taxi rank nearby, PLENTY of restaurants, gorgeous shops and felt very safe. WiFi was fast, fresh towels every day and the bed was the comfiest I’ve ever had. We wish we could stay longer as this place really made our stay in Kotor! Thank you for having us❤️

Very nice hotel at a great location, friendly and helpful staff, very nice breakfast that’s included in the price in such a nice little restaurant. The view from the room was great, with street musicians playing in the afternoon/night. The room was spacious and very clean.

It is very pleasant to sit on the chairs in the part of the hotel facing the street and watch the surroundings. When we come back, we will definitely stay here.

The location is right in the middle of the old town, which was perfect. The accommodation is arranged in a classic 1920 style. Quiet interesting. Room with a view on the narrow city street. Very romantic. Breakfast homemade was very tasty and plenty to choose from. Highly recommend for adult couples.

I stayed one night at Hotel Marija in the heart of Kotor's Old Town and really enjoyed the experience. The location is absolutely perfect if you want to soak in the charm and history of the old town-everything is right at your doorstep. The room itself was clean, with a tasteful blend of old-world character and modern comfort. The staff were friendly, professional, and made check-in and check-out smooth and easy. I also appreciated the little touches like the bathrobes, which added a nice extra bit of comfort to the stay. One thing to keep in mind: due to the central location, it can be quite noisy even at night. If you're a light sleeper, a pair of earplugs would definitely come in handy.

the location right in the center ,rooms were very clean and tidy,BEJE was very helpful i had done booking with similar name in other location, which had a age restriction and was supposed to be party place ,and i happened to reach at Montenegro hostel b&b -i was very tired from long journey my gprs was not working ,i was tired searching the location ,BEJE informed me that i had come to wrong place ,and place where i had booked is a party hostel with age restriction so i cancelled my booking and she was very kind enough to do fast checkin for me in this place ,after that my 5 days stay in kotor was wonderful,and through out BEJE was very helpful in all means-the common area was very spacious with good view which was attached to kitchen (you can enjoy the view and will have good time here meeting other guest)

This hostel was a gem! The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming and felt like a home away from home. The receptionist was absolutely amazing – she was so friendly and helpful, going above and beyond. Her little niece was an added bonus – she was such a joy to be around. I loved my stay here!!!

This apartment was amazing! Stylishly decorated, super-clean and comfortable, beautiful modern bathroom with excellent hot water and a comfy bed - there was nothing more we could have asked for. The washing machine was really helpful, and we also enjoyed taking an hour or so out of the bustle of Kotor and relaxing in the pretty courtyard area. The location was fantastic - in the heart of the old town and therefore just minutes from the shops, bars, restaurants, fortress, Sea Gate ... and despite this, the apartment was amazingly quiet. Livia met us on arrival, and got our stay off to a great start. Of all the places we stayed in Croatia and Montenegro, this was our favourite - we would definitely stay there again!

This was our second stay at Livia’s apartments and it was amazing! Livia is the perfect host, the apartments are clean, well equipped and comfortable. They are also well located within Kotor Old Town and close to great cafes, bars and restaurants. We love the apartments as they have a modern finish and are really safe and secure. There is also a well maintained courtyard available for guests to use as outside space which is lovely! We will book to stay here again when we return to Montenegro.

This apartment is such good value for money. It is perfect size for a couple and has a nice spacious living room and kitchen. The courtyard is also really nice and private to sit in and have nibbles and drinks. Perfect location in old town and only 5 mins to local beach and supermarkets. Apartment was very clean and the host was super responsive and friendly. We also really appreciated having access to a laundry. The wifi was good and the aircon works well.

Beautifully renovated Palazzo in the heart of Kotor, in the hustle and bustle of life. Comfortable apartment, nice kitchen and furniture, nice textiles, beautiful colors and materials. Comfortable, big bed. Everything you need for comfort. Small inner courtyard - really cozy. Surrounded by great cafes and restaurants, overlooking a small square. Life is always going on in Kotor, great places are lined up almost next to each other, programs, concerts, film screenings are on every corner - a real treat for those who love the hustle and bustle of life. That's why you shouldn't expect quiet evenings within the city walls in the main season, but you can sleep with closed windows. Parking in a closed parking lot nearby. And the cats of Kotor! - We loved the place.

Easy access from the main gates so there is not too much trouble with dragging luggage from a taxi to the apartment.

The property is located in the heart of the Old Town, it’s really easily accessible and there’s only a small set of steps you have to go up to get to the apartment. The apartment is a little dated but spacious and clean nonetheless. There was pretty much everything you would expect in the room: hair dryer, body wash, kettle, tea/coffee, kitchen roll etc. Although it wasn’t a garden view per se, it was nice that our apartment was located above the main streets so that when you opened the shutters/windows, you were able to enjoy parts of the view. The apartments are part of the hotel (which is only a short 2-minute away) and the staff are super nice and incredibly helpful! This property is really good as well as they offer airport transfer for only €40 each way. The driver is so incredibly nice and kind (he carried our bags for us) and gave us a load of great recommendations.

I spent three days in Kotor with kids(3 and 6) and the aparment was amazing. The check in was very fast, the lady met us on our arrival and gave us a tour thru the appartment, the check out also went smooth. It was well equiped and the bed was comfy. The view from the window is amazing. The TV, AirCondition, kitchen equipment all was well working. The option for private parking is amazing, it's just 5min easy walk to the appartment. I'd come here again!

Convenient location in heart of old city Kotor. Beautifully, tastefully furnished. Spacious and bright. A huge upgrade from place we originally stayed, for little more money. Affiliated hotel had a delicious buffet breakfast at discounted rate.

The Appartment is two massive rooms a tiny bathroom and a huge terrace. The ceilings are high with double doors leading between the rooms. We loved the central location and sitting on the terrace in the evening listening to the sounds from the street and admiring the view from the terrace. One of the nicest properties we’ve stayed in.

The location of the apartment was perfect, right in the middle of the old town. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was very clean and spacious. The hosts were also very helpful and responsive when needed. The instructions to finding the room and parking were also very clear. Overall, we had a really lovely stay.

The apartment was more like a room with a small kitchenette, but comfortable nonetheless! The location is great, right inside the Old Town and easily walkable to plenty of restaurants and bars. Kika sent me a message prior to my arrival with all the details on key pick-up and info on Kotor. Everything went smoothly and although I was not able to store my luggage during the day as I had a late departure, Kiki sent me an option to a storage service which was very helpful :)

And while I never had the pleasure of meeting the host in person, they were incredibly helpful and responsive throughout my stay, always available to answer any questions I had. From the moment you step out the door, you are surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Kotor's old town, with its winding streets, charming architecture, and fascinating history. Convenient location in the Old Town. The room is small as advertised, but it is comfortable and comes with a handy kitchen area. While the street can be noisy, the soundproofing is very good as I didn’t hear a thing once I closed the windows. The hosts provided helpful tips on what to, where to eat etc.
