The rooms were so clean and the whole staff was absolutely amazing! So friendly and courteous…wonderful customer service! We ate dinner and breakfast at here, the young lady Andyn Kate (I think) for dinner and Tye for breakfast! Amazing!!!

The hotel is in a great location. It is roughly a fifteen-minute drive from the hotel for anyone interested in attending the annual Festival Internationale, held in the downtown area every April. It is also close to many shops and department stores as well as the mall, Barnes & Noble and plenty of restaurants and businesses on Rue Johnston. The rooms are very comfortable and the restaurant on the first floor serves great meals for breakfast and dinner; if you don't want to drive around looking for a meal after a long day. The bar is also a plus, serving a variety of beers, wines, etc. There are cafe tables on the hotel grounds where you can enjoy a cocktail on a sunny day.

Very friendly staff. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We were hesitant after reading some reviews about the beds as my wife suffered two compressed discs after a fall a few months ago, but she slept well and said the bed was quite comfortable. Reasonable pet fee and breakfast was awesome, and inexpensive if purchased at time of booking. Quiet area and we felt very safe walking our dogs.

The service from the manager Timothy was excellent. The service from Brooklyn at the restaurant/bar was excellent. I loved her Bloody Mary! She was off one night and I did receive a totally different (and awful) Bloody Mary from another employee. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. The room furniture is uncomfortable- that straight backed chair and awful hide-a-bed loveseat. The bed was just ok- not great! The toilets, showers, and our AC was all so loud!! The water temp would scald you whenever someone else was using their toilet or shower in the morning or afternoon and at night, there was rarely any hot water at all. Also, my fellow coffee drinkers, there is only fresh coffee in the morning. I want to reiterate that the service was great! It’s the hotel itself that isn’t great.

Extremely well-kept hotel with very friendly staff. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Very pet friendly! The breakfast offerings in the morning were an excellent value and well prepared. This property is obviously well-managed. If you're passing through town as we were, the location is a bit off the freeway. Don't let that be a deterrent as it's worth the few miles to find it.

Our stay was good. I wasn’t to happy with the pool area. There was a baseball team staying there for tournament. And the pool was dirty as well as the jacuzzi. Very cloudy and we didn’t want to get in it. And the purpose of the trip was for our anniversary and to relax & enjoy the pool and jacuzzi. But other than that it was a good stay.

The personnel, from the concierge – receptionist upon check-in, to the bartender and Tasha in the restaurant at the breakfast buffet were friendly, professional, and caring. The room was spacious with large shower, and clean. Always in lobby where a maculate. Breakfast buffet was certainly worth the prize. Would stay here again without question and recommend the hotel without hesitation.

Exceptional hotel! This is by far the best Holiday Inn we have stayed at across the country. Chad, who checked us in, made a great first impression. Friendly, not rushed, informative, efficient checkin. Our room was super chilly, similar to other hotels but warmed up quickly. Our room was clean, spacious. The beds were comfortable and thank goodness for the pillows were perfect too. We had a refrigerator and keurig too. We’ve seen a lot of breakfast option over the past several years traveling and THIS hotel gets 5 gold stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our waitress, Tasha, who happens to be the most joyful morning greater, welcomed us and made sure we started our day off right. The breakfast is a hybrid buffet and made to order items. You will not regret choosing this hotel. We are sure glad we did.

We had a nice, relaxing stay on our way home to Texas. The room was nice, comfortable and clean, and every staff member we encountered was so friendly and helpful. Chad, at the front desk, welcomed us and gave us some great dinner suggestions. The staff in the breakfast area were all attentive and helpful as well. We would definitely stay there again if our travels take us to Lafayette.

Though this is not the newest and most modern Holiday Inn, it was very clean and quiet. The hotel is in a good location, with lots of restaurants and stores close by, many within walking distance. Hotel manager Tina and the rest of the front desk staff were all so friendly and welcoming! We and extended family were in town for a memorial service, and they really made our stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Thank you for your kindness!

We overnighted at the Hampton Inn en route to a conference in New Orleans. We only stayed the one night. The hotel is located close to major roads and highways than made it easy to get to and depart. The room was clean and as expected. The breakfast buffet is included and even though they are part of the Hilton brand they don’t nickel-and-dime (money grabs) you like the fancier Hilton hotels. You get a clean room, friendly helpful service, a free breakfast buffet (not extensive, but hits the spot), all exactly as one would expect and advertised.

This hotel is very clean. The people at the check in desk were friendly and efficient. The bed was comfortable and the temperature was easily adjusted for our comfort. The breakfast was good with several choices. We spoke with one of the workers at breakfast and she was very friendly. We would definitely use this hotel again.

The room and bathroom were cleaned. It was very easy to connect to WiFi. The staffs were friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast was delicious. The area was very quiet and I felt very safe.

Stayed here 2 weekends in a row this summer and will be back next weekend. We play travel softball and the ballpark is super close. Rooms are clean and comfy. There is a huge common area where we can meet up and hang out. Even got to watch the LSU baseball game Saturday evening. Lots of restaurants nearby. While simplified, the breakfast was sufficient. Always our go-to hotel when we are in the area. They also granted us ALL a later check out on Sunday which was amazing so we were able to rest and remain cool until game time.

The hotel is fine and has a nice bar and restaurant but for us the location was terrible. There was nowhere to go or eat on foot. Located between the river and a busy road. We had a drink and ate in the hotel not what we wanted. Food was good. Have to say that the staff were all amazing. Kevin at check in was helpful and the two young women at the bar and in the restaurant were helpful.

Our go to in Lafayette. Always clean and friendly service. Kierra at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. Her bubbly personality was so refreshing. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. Robes in room nice touch. Cookies at checkin always a treat.

We stayed one night for a wedding in the area. The front desk attendant was pleasant and check-in was quick and easy. We booked a 1-bedroom king suite, which was clean and comfortable overall, though a few issues stood out. The living room TV didn’t work, but we didn’t have time to address it and didn’t consider it a major inconvenience. The kitchen stove had a sign stating “no cooking, reheating only,” which seemed unusual, but we didn’t end up using it. The surrounding area felt safe but was a bit rundown. Our room faced an abandoned hotel, which gave off a creepy vibe—not the hotel’s fault, but not exactly appealing either. The outdoor common area wasn’t well maintained. At first glance, I thought it was closed, but then I noticed kids in the pool, which was filled with leaves. We chose not to use it due to the condition. Breakfast was standard Staybridge fare—nothing special, but it was well-stocked and clean. The indoor common areas were also well maintained. Overall, the staff was friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the room served its purpose for a short stay, though I’d hesitate to stay longer unless some of the maintenance issues were addressed.

Probably the best hotel that we have ever stayed at. The breakfast buffet is amazing, plenty of room to sit in the lobby area, staff was very attentive and informative of what the hotel had to offer, hotel is pet friendly, outside area is clean and there are so many areas to bring your pet to enjoy some outside time, room was impeccably spotless and kitchen had all essentials. Cannot thing of one negative thing to mention about our stay. We will be returning the next time we evacuate for a hurricane or travel for leisure.

We love the fact that the hotel is pet friendly, room was very clean and the breakfast was amazing especially the blueberry scones. Everything is very convenient to get to from here as well. The only thing is that I wish the water pressure in the shower was better. Other than that we had a very comfortable stay and we'll be back again.

This outstanding plus has lots of upside and just two warts that we found — the Internet was crappy (couldn't get on Chrome), and sometimes the Internet didn't work for hours. The other is that for a couple of straight nights, a closed meeting room boomed with so-called music and bass that shook the walls in our corridor. Sounded live (and awful). The upsides — amazing, bountiful breakfast, including fresh oranges and strawberries, good eggs, terrific coffee (get the dark roast), muffins galore, and more. Fantastic staff. Spotless hallways, rugs, bathrooms — everything. Tons of parking, including disabled at the front and side entrances. Big fridge and dishwasher that WORK. Plenty of REAL silverware, plates, cups, etc. The place is kind of midway from anything, but worth a couple extra minutes to get to. I've forgotten more — all of it good. Dinner tip if you love shrimp and grits: Zea's. Two ample sides with the meal. Scrumptious!

This hotel has recently been completely renovated and it was very nicely done. Our room was clean and comfortable, with very good beds. Breakfast was provided, but the quality of the items available was a bit disappointing. For anyone traveling on Interstate 10, this hotel is an outstanding option. There is easy access to restaurants and other necessities. We were traveling with a small dog, so we also appreciate the fact that it is pet friendly.

This was our first visit to this BestWestern located conveniently just off the intersection of US 49 and 10. Valerie was on duty both at check-in and the following morning for breakfast and was cordial and professional in both times. The only hesitation we have was that the room did not have any bars and did not have a shower grab bar which I thought was the BestWestern standard western standard Be aware there are no restaurants within walking distance

Clean comfortable room, and hands down some of the best scrambled eggs and patty sausage I’ve ever eaten at any hotel anywhere. Eggs were fresh and fluffy and sausage patties were savory and of a large biscuit size diameter. Nice selection of other breakfast items. I’m attaching a picture. Bed was comfortable and hotel appointed with photographs of local places. I will definitely stay here again when passing through.

When you go ask for valerie shes very helpful and knowledgeable. The staff is so friendly and helpful. the breakfast was amazing. The maintenance staff was right on point when in need also Sue and mary was life of the hotel. I would go back when i'm back in town.

The evening front desk clerk was excellent. He was very attentive and helpful. The location was great. The room was spacious and functional. The couch was comfortable, but the pull-out bed had springs and was hard. The bathroom was not clean. There was hair in the bathtub and on the floor, disgusting. The carpet was also not vacuumed.

Decisions my family and I really enjoyed our stay here. It was a perfect location for all we needed to do in Lafayette. We enjoyed the kitchenette and everything was very clean. The staff for very helpful and friendly.

We spent 3 nights at the hotel. Overall great experience, nice well appointed room with kitchen, very clean, comfy beds. The three reception counter persons we interacted with were all very attentive and helpful with any questions and made you feel appreciated as a guest. The only 2 remarks being the thru the wall Ac/heating unit made some noises when cycling, off mostly, and the (free( wi-fi is somewhat weak and is unprotected, no security installed, so do not use for any sensitive communications such as online banking or purchases.

For the price point this was a pretty good stay . Lionel the manager when we checked in was very hospital and friendly . I didn’t look for coffee makers in the room and that was my fault , this is more of an extended stay type of place but the vending machines had plenty of options and the gym was good enough for some cardio . The air conditioning worked well and was quiet , which I appreciated . It is across the street from an airport so if you wake easily this might not be for you . The sink in the bathroom leaked when turned on and when I notified the staff in the morning they made sure to make a note of it , it was a Saturday into Sunday morning stay so I didn’t bother calling down the night of , we just used the bathtub faucet . Water pressure worked well in shower and heated quickly . Overall good stay .

A very enjoyable stay. Quiet and very safe. The common areas were cleaned daily and the staff was very polite, friendly and accommodating. During our two week stay, they did two security checks on our door locks.

The desk clerks were amazing!! The room was amazing!! The room was BEYOND clean!! We actually booked another stay on our return. The area and other occupants were very warm and inviting. A wonderful start to a very long trip!

The first night was great. Breakfast was very good. We did hear traffic noise, but not too bad. We extended our stay to a second night and it was good. Breakfast the second morning was a nightmare! They were not staffed adequately for the occupancy. Kids were running around in breakfast area, making hot chocolate, mixing it with coffee, spilling juice & cereal, grabbing food, etc. The counters were a mess. The tables were littered with finished breakfast items spilled syrup, etc. The breakfast staff member was overwhelmed and did the best she could. She was also covering the front desk! We would stay again, considering this was possibly a one time fluke.

Great place to stay to be close to the university and downtown. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and efficient. I was pleasantly surprised that what was listed as a continental breakfast turned out to be a hot breakfast since we had an early start and I didn't want to take the time to stop at a restaurant. The food was on par with other places I'ce stayed.

The room was well appointed with king bed, convenient bedside outlets, desk and an additional easy chair, and refrigerator. We were in a handicapped room and the shower was a roll-in shower with no lip, so it would be easy to roll in a wheel chair. There were plenty of handholds and a hand held shower head. A very nice room. The breakfast was good with scrambled eggs, sausage patties, oatmeal, waffles and bagels.

The bed and pillows were truly comfortable, and the shower hot, with shampoo etc on hand. The indoor pool was just the right temperature, and we enjoyed the fitness room as well. It was fun having so many toppings for oatmeal and waffles, and the sausage was delicious. We really enjoyed the breakfast, all four of us. And Expedia got us a $10 discount.

The room was comfortable. However, a bit run down and could use a bit of sprucing up. Shower was not as clean as it should have been. Shower doors needed cleaning and were very hard to open and close due to not being as clean as they should be.

Just off the highway quite safe good parking friendly staff family owned and operated clean just a great place to stay I love it there I don’t have anything negative to say about this place.

Excellent service, pricing and accommodations just as indicated and requested, convenient and comfortable. All great, but the staff was outstanding and very gracious, did all that was necessary to please us and meet every need or preference.

The room was clean. There was a lot of wear and tear. Property is old but it was clean. I will stay again as I go back to Phoenix AZ.

The exterior is not well maintained. Need pressure wash.Tree Branches on the ground. Pool is unusable, the water looks like a sewer. They don’t serve complimentary breakfast. The entrance area has giant rolls of carpet blocking the seating area. The hallways are very warm a smells like Indian food.

Loved staying at the Blue Hotel in Breaux Bridge La. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. And it is always very clean. Just wish they would bring back the breakfast. I stay at the hotel everytime i am in town to visit my family. Great place to stay

Clean, newly renovated, a surprise for this hotel chain. No breakfast, only coffee. Bed overly firm, exerbated wife's back pain.

The employee who checked me in was very nice and polite. The parking lot was clean and very well light up. The room was clean, pillows were nice and comfortable but the mattress was a little uncomfortable; other than that, it was a good stay.

The room was clean and quiet. The staff was kind and helpful. Good place with affordable pricing

What a great hotel! It's like a boutique stay, at a much better price. Plentiful breakfast, comfortable, clean room, plenty of amenities and helpful, friendly staff. There are so many things within walking distance, including a nice Mexican restaurant and several dogs. We will stay again.

New, modern, clean. Good location. Staff was pleasant & helpful. Good breakfast selection. Only complaint might be that the weekend breakfast buffet should be left open later than 10 am. A lot of guests came as it was closing & after it closed.

What a wonderful hotel! Spotless facility. The best free breakfast I have ever had. They have a delicious sausage, egg, potato bowl! Comfy bed. Great location. Courteous staff that had spot on perfect dinner recommendations. We will be back!

This is a very nice hotel. They are in the process of painting/updating the rooms. My suite was spacious, comfortable, quiet and most importantly clean. The location was perfect as I was in town for a college graduation at UL Lafayette. Check in was easy, hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast consisted of eggs, waffles, toast, bacon, juices, muffins, coffee, etc.... it was good and the area was clean and well maintained. Nice lobby area.

The hotel felt like it had a few years on it, but it was clean and well maintained. Beds were comfy and every employee we had contact with was very friendly and helpful. The clerk working at night was especially helpful when I needed to use the laundry facilities to wash my boys’ baseball uniforms. When I asked for change for the machine she informed me that the washer had just experienced some kind of issue and was no longer working. I made a comment about not liking to go to laundromats late at night, and my kids needed to be in bed…before I could even ask for directions to the nearest laundromat she offered to wash them for me. I left them with her and picked them up an hour later fresh and clean!! Way to go above and beyond!

All of the staff was friendly, no pressure to hurry and vacate. Kitchen was also friendly. Most important- clean rooms, good bed, good pillows, locks that work.

The staff was very nice, the breakfast was perfect each morning. Everything was clean, the pool was clean and quiet. Work out facility was clean and they have up to date equipment that was working properly. Laundry room for doing your own clothes, clean and reasonable priced.

I am starting to think this brand is exceptional. We booked here last minute when our other hotel was full of ants. The staff was very kind and friendly. The room was very quiet, clean and comfortable. The facilities are very modern and have a clean vibe. Everything from the public bathroom to the breakfast room is sleek and clean. Very impressive.

Called ahead and front desk was very helpful. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Slept very well because the room temp was perfect and the bed was oh so cozy. The dog friendly policy, delicious breakfast and bright lobby really impressed me. Would stay again.

The lady working in it very friendly. Location for us was perfect . I left a portable medical equipment in the room. When we come back to New Orleans again there is no doubt we well stay there again.

What a great stay! I had requested a top floor in a quiet corner, and that’s what I got. The room was spacious & had a view of the river. Comfortable bed and pillows, fridge, microwave & coffee maker all in clean condition. Breakfast was adequate to get me ready for my day. They offer room cleaning every other day but I didn’t need it. The pool & hot tub area was nice in the morning to have breakfast by. Close to ULL, Girard Park, hospitals, shopping & restaurants. Friendly staff, too!

Those working the front desk were exceptionally nice, offering suggestions for good places to eat. We had a suite overlooking the river; having the extra space was nice, but it was on the small side. The whole hotel is immaculately clean. The breakfast had many choices including fresh fruit. The bathroom was spacious and had a vanity before entering the bathroom and one also inside the bathroom, so that gave one person a chance to use the bathroom while the other used the vanity and mirror. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are in large containers inside the bathtub/shower combo. There’s a tv in the sitting room as well as a small desk, fridge, microwave and small coffee maker, and there’s a tv in the bedroom as well. The mattresses were very soft (which is how I like them), but mine sunk in the middle. The only major issue I had was with the neighbors who talked loudly and then had the television turned up too loud until 1:00 in the morning. I couldn’t sleep because of them and I even had a white noise machine turned on. The walls are very thin at this hotel!

The room was newly renovated and spacious. The free breakfast was great! Staff were helpful and gave recommendations for things to do. If it had been warmer out I might have loved to use the pool area outside. I had been hoping it use the hot tub but the water was not very hot and it was too cold out for that to be enjoyable. We were able to walk to a couple restaurants during our stay. Note though that as of Feb 2024 the rest of the third floor where we were was actively being renovated so the hall and elevator area had plaster dust and construction equipment. This didn’t bother us as the rest of the hotel and our room were spotless, but some people may not like it.

This hotel was on a lower budget end of the price range and it was about what I expected for the price. The room was very basic. Microwave and coffee were only in the lobby area and there was only one available ice machine. I was informed of this at check-in and the listing on the app reflects this as well. There are maintenence issues, doors were hard to close and room door had light shining through cracks around it from the hall. This is an older facility and as such has thin walls and sound transmission has not been helped by renovations that took out carpets. Staff were friendly at check-in and out. A standard hot hotel breakfast was continuously being restocked by friendly workers during the busy breakfast time. The area of town felt very safe and the hotel sits in a wide open area in a modern section of town with multiple restaurant choices within 5-10 minute walk.

Loved the room set up, so clean and most comfortable bed I have found. So clean and no carpet in room, clear bedside table with phone charger. Plenty of towel sets in bathroom. Small fridge so handy for cold drinks and doggy bags and the microwave downstairs 24 hrs was so handy for popcorn and a movie. For families, there was a phone and tablet charger bar with comfy stools in the lobby, a pool table in the lobby for the kids, and ice machines in the lobby beside a nice gym. This kept all the noise downstairs. And listen to this, a 24 hour coffee bar in the lobby fully decked out with French coffee, hot chocolate, an assortment of lovely teas, and flavored liquid creamer. Can you imagine?? It was heaven!! I could just live there.

I wish I could remember the lady’s name at the front desk the night I checked in, because she was so amazing and kind. It was quiet and peaceful. Very clean. Breakfast was amazing and the lady over breakfast was also awesome! Tons of parking.

Hotel staff were super sweet, helpful and welcoming. Rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. My only 2 "complaints", which are just personal preference, are that 1. The room darkening curtain doesn't go all the way to the bottom of the window, so there is a gap and the sun shines directly into it in the morning. 😢 There is a 2nd decorative curtain that does go down, but it is more see thru, so doesnt so much. 2. The bed is HARD as a rock. Like, it was so firm you could bounce a quarter off of it to the ceiling. It is still 5 stars because it was just a great place, and I'm not gonna penalize for personal preference. Definitely recommend!!

All three has carpeting that felt damp but we decided this must be a combination of high humidity and the type of carpeting. Aside from this, every other aspect of our stay was fantastic! The breakfast was fantastic offering eggs, sausage, and potatoes as hot items. They also had pancakes, oatmeal, grits, a yogurt machine and all sorts of toppings for it along with a wide selection of bread items. Juice, coffee, and morning/nighttime teas were available as well. The breakfast area had seating that was great for our meeting the night of our stay. Check in/out was easy and fast. They had a bellhop cart that made taking our luggage to our rooms easy. The beds were luxurious and clean. The hotel was actually quiet at quiet hours. I slept great! I would definitely stay here again!

Breakfast was slightly better than other chains; in addition to the standard breads, sugary cereals and fake sugary juices that are at many hotel chains, there were also hot scrambled eggs and sausages. Our room had a king size bed, sofa, mini frig, microwave, coffee maker, roomy bathroom. Bathtub drain was blocked at first; it was fixed quickly and the staff checked in with us later to make sure it was ok.

The room was clean and beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly. I can’t say anything about the breakfast because I did not get up and eat breakfast. The bed was so comfortable. I just wanted to stay in it.

The room was excellent--clean, well-maintained, large, and quite luxurious, a king bed with soft quilted topper, sofa and coffee table, indirect lighting plus reading lamps. Breakfast was similar to most chain hotels; better because there were fresh scrambled eggs and hash browns, granola and almonds and real milk, and apples and oranges. Nice business center. Nice lounge area. Nice to have a fitness room and whirlpool, though whirlpool was broken.

My stay was fantastic! The staff was welcoming, the room was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable and perfect for a restful night. The airport transfer service was smooth and convenient, making travel stress-free. The amenities were excellent, and everything felt thoughtfully arranged. I’d happily return and recommend this place!

Upon arriving to the location, I was very happy to see that it was in a nice area! There are a few restaurants within walking distance, and several more a short drive away. Carl went above and beyond with his helpfulness, and his courtesy, and manners. We stayed in one of the larger rooms (being a family of 6). When we called down for more pillows, towels and blankets, there was no hesitation, and they brought it to our room right away. The breakfast was good. They had egg and cheese omelettes, potato and sausage type of hash, bacon, bagels, fruit, oatmeal with a bar of toppings, a refrigerator stocked with yogurts of all variety and waffles. I would recommend that if the hotel is busy, you arrive to breakfast earlier than later. They ran out of waffles one morning, but we arrived late, and there was an entire boys baseball team staying the night. I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are extremely spacious, the beds were comfortable. Pillows were super soft, you can request feather pillows too! The hotel has a small grocery store in the lobby that contains snacks, drinks, and alcohol. We didn't purchase anything, so I can't tell you if the prices are affordable, or outrageous. The parking lot is well lit. We liked this hotel so much, on our way back from Florida, we stayed there again!! If you want great customer service- see Carl at the front desk!!

I found the hotel to be welcoming and inviting, clean, and comfortable. I liked that it is a bit off the beaten path so there was no traffic noise to deal with, nor did I hear my “neighbors” through the walls. I slept well in the comfortable bed. The breakfast in the morning had a nice variety of options including gluten free and plant-based options.

Springhill Suites was an amazing place to host our family reunion group. The hotel is very nice and clean, employees were so friendly and the breakfast was delicious (way better than most hotels). We would definitely stay here again.

Every member we encountered was more than helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great!! Community coffee on tap was the best. I will say I would have also liked to have had that in our room too. But it’s definitely not a dealbreaker of any kind. The location was quite conveniently located yet gave a sense of security and seclusion at the same time. Parking was great. Checking in and out was the easiest process I’ve ever experienced. You can hear street noises but it had no affect on our ability to sleep or our stay. My daughter and I had planned our first of many girls trip. When we started planning we both said we wanted to stay in a place that was an experience not just another hotel. Y'all perfectly provided that for us!! We will be back! C'est ce bon!

This was a gorgeous property tucked away in Lafayette. The towels weren't very clean and the breakfast was cold. I was admittedly 10 minutes late to walk my service dog for a potty break. There was no set for us as if they weren't expecting us to have breakfast. We did say we wanted breakfast the day before, so it was just a little awkward and confusing. Other than the towels in our room and the breakfast debacle this was gorgeous. They were nice to my service dog and I would stay here again. I'll recommend it to my friends and family for sure.

We enjoyed our stay. There are beautiful large oak trees on the grounds. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the Live Oak cabin. It was cute and clean. The two beds are just double beds which was a tight squeeze for me and my husband. Other than the smaller beds, I would recommend the Live Oak cabin. The breakfast was delicious and we really liked meeting the other guests at the communal breakfast table.

We stayed for just over 2 weeks while under Hurricane Ida evacuation. Although my husband's work was suspended during this time, I had to work, with a need for internet access. Owner Ravi Daggula and his terrific staff provided us with a spacious and comfortable place to work, rest, and keep our cat. Chef Craig (with help from Ravi & Miss D) prepared amazing full breakfasts each morning. A plus -- Mouton B&B was an easy drive to restaurants, grocery & drug stores, laundromat, and other places we needed during our extended stay. Looking forward to going back for a vacation visit next time! Can't thank Ravi and his staff enough for their hospitality and care!!!

Interesting historical house near downtown Lafayette. The patio area is really lovely and the room we had was quite large. A dehumidifier runs in the room and I think the room would smell a bit of mildew without it. But to be fair, it's an old building in the deep south so it is to be expected. The breakfast was really delicious and the staff was quite welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our stay. We went downtown on the advice of the staff and were glad we utilized the recommendation. We were also treated to some Zydeco music upon arrival.

stayed here a couple of years ago and very pleased with it. Very nice modern Microtel right by I-10 Automatice sliding doors and NFC locks on the doors for when you have luggage to bring in, very useful. Plenty of gas stations and eating places in walking distance I was given room 326 this time, massive room with kitchen unit, couch, coffee table. very clean as expected. Wifi was 20Meg and solid. A really good TV with with excellent channel selection. Really good nights sleep, enjoyed my stay here.

This hotel was much more than I expected: a big room, a super comfortable bed, a big bath tub, and a kitchenette. The receptionist was friendly and kind. He understood my need for quietness and put me in the room in the back of the building, away from the road. I was able to sleep well without being bothered by noise or light from the outside. I will definitely return for my future stays in Lafayette.

This was an overnight stop. Check-in was easy. Everything was clean. There was even "bay window" seating where my son wanted to sleep. Fridge & freezer worked well. Kids were happy with wifi and breakfast.

Stayed 3 nights with teenager and dog Dec 2024. Nighttime was quiet, and that includes a few other dogs in other rooms. Beds were fine, plenty of lighting and USB charging options. Shower was fine. Room seemed clean. Staff was pleasant and attentive. Pool was closed but was small; the area surrounding it had trash bin overflowing and rather nasty, so that might be an issue in warmer months. Breakfast wasn’t much of anything. Cereal or toast. It might hold you over til lunch but plan to eat elsewhere. Huddle House is next door for instance. Location is great, can hop on the highway or drive south into Lafayette. Gas stations, Huddle House restaurant, Domino’s Pizza, etc and Billy’s (Cajun food) all within a couple minute walk. I stay in Lafayette area often. Cheap hotels are sketchy, and no reason to drop $100/night. For the price point ($70/night - dog is $10) I do recommend this Howard Johnson hotel. If you want a nice pool area you may search elsewhere.

Amber at the desk was amazing she went above and beyond for us. She set the ac so it was already cool in the room she made sure we had a place to park our truck and trailer that was safe and out of the way of others. She was kind and friendly i will go out of my way to stay here again when im in the area. It was clean the bed was super comfy i had plenty of pillows to choose from for my sensitive shoulders and neck the pool area is nice as well.

They have the most amazing beds. The bed was very comfortable and spacious.Their bathroom was up to my standards. I haven’t had breakfast but all in all 5 star! The entrance was clean. I was a bit disappointed that there wasn’t an elevator accessible only stairs.

I really appreciated that the staff was attentive and friendly. The turn-down service was always very thorough and complete. The shower was hot and had plenty of pressure. I also appreciated that there was plenty of separation between occupied rooms. There didn't seem to be a lot of guests during my stay, but I didn't have someone nextdoor or above me making lots of noise. Unfortunately I didn't take advantage of the breakfast but it did seem to be set up very well and very tidy.

The check-in was an easy process. Customer service was good! We were having trouble accessing channels on our tv, and called the front desk (no answer). The pool and jacuzzi was nice. No wi-fi, and no complimentary breakfast. Overrall, okay hotel for the price!

Our room was great, clean and roomy on the second floor. But the air conditioning in the hall was blowing hot air. It’s August. Downstairs, they have a snack bar. The vent hood needs repair because the entire downstairs reeked of burned grease. The pool and jacuzzi were great. Probably won’t stay again at this particular hotel, unless they make repairs.

I really like this hotel. We stayed here last year for a band event for my son. I remembered how good the breakfast was and how friendly the staff was. This time the staff was still friendly, but unfortunately I guess they had a call in and the restaurant didn’t open. I was really banking on the restaurant being open the next morning because we didn’t have time to get breakfast elsewhere. Other than that, everything was great. The maintenance and housekeeping staff are amazing!!! They’re super helpful and friendly! Ironically the front desk staff has the personality of a box of rocks, but they weren’t rude.

I don’t normally take the time to review hotels, but I was so impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff are here. Everyone I met went above and beyond to make it a pleasant stay. This was a great hotel for a business trip, with clean, comfortable rooms, good WiFi and a convenient bistro for breakfast.

My children enjoyed the added feature of the nightlight in the bathroom & I loved the fact that the door slid open between the bathroom and closet to allow that light to come into the sleeping area. I hate the feeling of a super dark hotel room & this made the room feel super comfortable. The continental breakfast selection was superb & the eating area was super clean! There was an issue with our toilet and maintenance was sent quickly. The issue was fixed quickly as well. Extra towels were also requested & came quickly. The downsides for me are as follows: no microwave in our room & the bathroom floor was sticky and possibly dirty (since my feet showed signs of it when I stepped into the shower). However, I appreciated the refrigerator in the room. Overall, it was a great experience & we will be back if we’re in the area again.

Whilst we did not get the room we thought we had booked, our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast was plentiful and hot. The hotel was very clean in all areas. We would stay again.

We stayed at this hotel during festival, Acadiane et Creole and enjoyed it very much. The hotel is located a short distance from the festival. The breakfast was very good. The room was terrific! But the most outstanding thing about this hotel was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and gracious from the front desk to the housekeepers to the breakfast folks. I must especially comment on Christopher who works at the front desk. He is not only a stylish dresser but is especially kind and helpful. Many thanks for making our visit so enjoyable.

Needed a night to stay while traveling back home to Texas. We are Hilton Honors members and found this place while on the road. We arrived at 9pm on a Friday night. Used the contactless check in. Smooth process. We were staying in room 309. Room was clean. One thing I noticed was that the shower head was really high on the wall. Can easily accommodate someone over 6' 5". I noticed this because both of my sons are over 6' and they always have trouble finding places with taller shower heads to accommodate them. Bed and Pillows were comfortable. Got a good night's sleep. The breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausage links, and homestyle potatoes for the hot items. Oatmeal and Waffles were available as well as a variety of fruit, cereals, bagels and scones. There was also yogurt and boiled eggs. Nice setup. Checkout was contactless as well. Lots of parking in the front and back. They do have a pool and small gym that looked to have a Peloton bike in it but can't confirm. Just saw a big screen on in front of the bike as I passed by. All in all, would stay here again.

This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in in a while. The decor was lovely and appealing, beautiful and clean in the lobby, a pretty tree for the holidays, and even the French style and decor choices in the room were very nice and attractive. The room accommodations were spacious and comfortable, very well laid out and convenient for our stay. I loved the division of space, having a full size refrigerator, a kitchen area, and bedroom door from the living area. A true suite. Even the food choices were nice during breakfast, non-dairy and vegetarian options. The staff was nice and polite, patient with some other guests that I noticed could be challenging. It was a lovely stay and I will remember this hotel, as they are along a common route between TX and AL.

Booked 3 rooms for a family event. Convenient location, clean, comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff, good value.

Every single staff member was extremely welcoming. Room was clean and stocked with full sized Dove body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Pool was great, the pool attendant even went and brought out pool toys for my kids. The breakfast was delicious and the breakfast attendant was very sweet.

After the terrible experience with Quality Inn...I have learned to listen to the reviews. After reading about 10 reviews I decided to make reservations and they were right. Rooms are clean no carpet in rooms which I loved. Coffee all times of the day are night. Breakfast can be a little more but the dining area is amazingly clean and staff very friendly. We will make more reservations. Good job!👍

What a great place to be! The bed is comfortable and the breakfast is superb. The rooms are clean as well and the Front desk guys and the lady are simply fantastic and professional. I will definitely stay here again. The breakfast woman is also doing a great Job. She had to help make a waffle for me after I failed in making a nice one

We booked a one-night stay to attend the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival. The Baymont is exactly what it calls itself...a "no frills" hotel. BUT, that doesn't mean it's run down. To the contrary, the lobby and at least our room were immaculately clean and cozy. The room included a fridge and microwave, the latter which are becoming rare in many hotels. The room was also comfortable, including an old-school floor unit A/C which worked perfectly. Our only negative was that it's time to change the top mattress in that room. It creaked and groaned every time we moved, but was still comfortable so we forgave that. Making Baymont our go-to hotel anytime we need to stay in Lafayette!

Very clean and spacious rooms, comfortable bed and plenty of towels. Parking was off the street and in a 3 story secure garage. No worries about the chronic car break-ins the town is famous for. The room smelled a bit musty when i first arrived, not too bad but didnt notice it after a few minutes. Housekeeping was a let down. The coffee station in the room was not replenished during my stay. One day the fresh towels were left on a table near the front door and not put in the bathroom. The used towels were not collected either so i guess the housekeeper was in a rush. Walking to restaurants and to the park was easy, the fitness center and the pool were well managed. Overall the Carriage House is the ONLY hotel i will use in Lafayette. Its a few more dollars but the safety and peace of mind is well worth it.

This hotel is lovely. It’s a nice spot nestled in the heart of Lafayette. The decor & building was lovely! Triple crown molding which is rare in a hotel. 12 foot ceilings with great furniture throughout. The bed was even amazing. Very quiet & peaceful. My husband & I had a very romantic stay. Everyone at the hotel was lovely. We had zero issues with anything at the hotel. Only thing is the walls are very thin. Our room was directly across from the entrance to the Parking garage. The door slammed really loudly. Next time we will request a room away from the entrance. There was a wedding happening the night we stayed. They were having a great time but we were able to hear most of their party. I brought my noise cancelling earbuds so I was able to sleep. When checking out the front desk let us know security did ask them to quiet down & they obliged. Overall it’s my new fave spot to stay in Lafayette & will most certainly be back!

The hotel is extremely clean. It’s beautiful and comfortable. The staff is always willing to help. They have made sure I am happy and have helped me out of jams with other hotels. I will always stay here when I come to Lafayette. It is beyond clean and makes me feel like I am in my own home. I have tried other hotels in the area, but nothing compares to the Carriage House! Lashayla at the front fest was beyond helpful and amazingly kind. She went out of her way to help me. 5stars all around!!

This is always my choice to stay when I am in Lafayette because of it's access to the City Club next door, has a giant pool, fitness facility, nice dining options from casual to fine, and is exceptionally convenient for parking. Easy to get in and out of and located on the end of Lafayette that is pretty safe and doesn't flood. Traffic between 7-8am and wild if you aren't out of town by 4:30pm. Quiet rooms, nice and cold, beds are semi soft/firm so perfect night's rest, and the one bedroom king suite is MORE than enough room for myself and my husband. Jada at the front desk is always exceptionally pleasant and greets everyone with a great level of service!

This was a very peaceful, comfortable hotel, and I would stay here on my next visit. The bed was great. Toiletries provided. And Mello Joy coffee!! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel is centrally located in Lafayette, with much to see and do within walking distance. Especially restaurants. Amtrak, Greyhound, and the University are also relatively close, though I'd recommend a cab or rideshare. The city bus line has a stop in front of the hotel, and buses run about every half hour. I stayed during a week, and I am told that the area really comes alive for weekends and special festivals. My room had a microwave and small refrigerator, which is handy because there is no soft drink machine. There's an ice machine. Bring your phone, because there is no room phone. You could use your phone to call the front desk, or to set for a wake-up. My only concern is that the large bathtub/shower is very slippery when used as a shower. A rubber bathmat would inexpensively eliminate a safety concern.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Juliet Hotel in Lafayette, and it was truly an amazing experience. The hotel exudes a sense of heritage and glamour that immediately sets it apart. This hotel was everything I wanted it to be. We chose it because we were going to see a Rush tribute band at Rock n Bowl, and the hotel is literally across the street from the venue. After spending our time in this beautiful hotel, I quickly chose to rebook it for our next visit on November 30. The building and facilities were clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The desk clerk even went to our room when we walked across the street to Pop's Poboy's (highly recommend) to figure out why we couldn't access the TV menu. There were only three negatives, but they were very minor. Two negatives were that outside of the hotel rooms, the building was warmer than I'd want it to be, and we didn't have a trash can in the hotel room. Neither of these was terrible. Breakfast wasn't served on the Sunday that we were there, but a friend had recommended Carpe Diem, and I'm almost relieved breakfast wasn't available because we enjoyed that restaurant and highly recommend it.

its always a good visit to the Juliet Hotel, from the personal service you receive from the first call to the hotel to the smiling employees to the clean comfortable rooms with comfy beds and a huge bath tub that my wife loves. I have never had a visit where this establishment didnt go above and beyond to make sure that my stay was perfect. Huge rooms and convenient to amazing dining, music and arts all of which are walking distance and the on site parking is a definite plus

From the outside the hotel was nice. The lobby was beautiful but the breakfast was really limited. The room was a double bed and was just like the pictures online, however, there was a really weird smell to the room. It smelled like a mixture of fresh paint, mildew, and smoke. When we got there the cable wasn't working. When we left 3 channels were working. The bathroom was small and had a leaking toilet. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The room was very clean and appeared to have been redecorated recently. The beds were really comfortable but high and hard for seniors to climb up on. Hot water in shower and nice towels for an inexpensive motel. There was very little for breakfast so we went down the street to McD's for breakfast

I needed a clean hotel room, a safe location, and fast internet for Zoom calls. The Days Inn by Lafayette Airport exceeded all of my expectations. Upon check-in, the staff was welcoming and attentive, making the process smooth and efficient. The parking is convenient and ample, allowing me to park directly in front of my room, which added to the overall sense of safety and ease. The hotel room was spotless and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed, a fridge, and a TV offering a wide variety of channels. The wireless internet was fast and reliable, perfect for my Zoom video conference meetings, without any lag or interruptions. While I didn’t have the opportunity to explore other amenities, the overall value, cleanliness, and great location of the hotel made my stay exceptional. For the price, the quality is unbeatable, and I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

The hotel is showing its age, but the rooms are actually nicer than they appear from the outside. Our room had a lot of space and a very big tv. We also had a microwave and fridge, although we had lots of problems with the latter. There were plenty of lights and outlets in the room, and the water was hot in the shower. The wifi worked well, and the bed was comfortable. Despite being next to the airport, the room was fairly quiet. The staff was very responsive to any concerns that we had.

This hotel was notorious for homeless ppl & prostitution hangouts, drug dealing/buying/using of such, & just unnecessary drama {constantly} to the point law enforcement would assign someone to just sit & hangout in the hotel parking lot, especially at night on weekends. As a life time resident of The Greater City of Lafayette, I can honestly say you've definitely cleaned that place up & hopefully some of its reputation for the positive. Conveniently located just seconds off Interstate-10 on side service road. Customer service was extremely nice to be. I was attempting to wash/dryer my laundry, but appeared to be having a minor difficulty with the machine I'd chosen. My lost laundry fee amount was refunded & another better machine offered with same laundry cleaning time. My being held up over the laundry issue (unfortunate all my laundry needed cleaning) caused me not being able to shower before check out time at 11:00 am, so before I was able to finish asking management; I was granted permission to stay for as long as needed to shower. Thank you kindly, sir.

Check-in was very quick and painless; lobby appearance was good at first glance. Front desk was very very friendly and made me feel welcome. Then there was entry to the room. As usual, before putting anything down, checked all over for bedbugs. None!!!! Great!!! But the furniture is worn, showing signs of wear and tear. Expecting better. Now, the bathroom...the floor was desperately in need of having the grout removed and replaced, the dark streaks on white floor tiles usually mean maintenance is needed. The shower bench was in poor condition, tears in the vinyl, underneath was definitely in need of some severe polishing on the aluminum bracing, and there were hairs, way back in the corners, but there regardless, a cleaning issue for sure. So overall, the room was very comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable, The A/C was wonderful. Would I stay again, sure, by myself, especially since I had already had a very long drive. Otherwise, my spouse would have immediately said " Oh no we're not!!!!" as she walked out the door. I tolerate a lot on my own, but these are just areas covering general maintenance and some good housekeeping would make it worth the 100 a night, even being a contractor. Cleanliness goes a long way.....

I recently traveled and stopped at the Red Roof Inn in Lafayette Louisiana and was greeted by a gracious host by the name of Ms. Edna. Ms. Edna was extremely kind, gave me suggestions for Cajun cuisine, and the check in process was quick and easy. My room was smelled fresh, the bathroom/bathtub was extremely clean, the air conditioner worked great, and the TV was quite large and a picture quality was good. The bed sheets and the duvet were also extremely clean and appeared to be new. I would highly recommend this hotel to travelers! Great experience for a great price! Thanks Ms. Edna!!

The guy at the front desk was very attentive to our needs, friendly, and professional! Room wasn't that great, but it's was due to recent ppl staying and stealing things!

Bathroom vent was hanging down, no tub stopper, toilet kept running, sink leaked, no phone, remote worked halfway, 1 lamp not working, no smoke detector, floor screwed down and bubbly, bed was comfortable but came off frame Pool was not open and no free breakfast as advertised Decent on a budget, but ac was the best part

There was a dead wood roach in the bathroom, stained bed coverings and one of the sheets had cigarette holes all over, but the bed was comfy and the overall cleanliness wasn’t terrible. It worked for what we needed. Also had a smell of mildew probably due to humidity. It wasn’t over powering though.

Had a difficult time getting housekeeing to provide fresh towels and toiletries as well as garbage bags for the cans. It was very inconvenient that my room was on the third floor and the elevator was out of order.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Smart Stay Inn in Lafayette, LA, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The newly renovated rooms are both modern and comfortable, providing a welcoming atmosphere after a long day. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met promptly. The hotel's convenient location, just off I-10, made it easy to explore local attractions like the Cajundome and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Additionally, being within walking distance to dining options such as Cracker Barrel was a delightful bonus. For travelers seeking quality accommodations at an affordable price, Smart Stay Inn Lafayette is an excellent choice.

We were traveling with a trailer and it has a lot of parking and truck parking on the back so it was very convenient. For the price was perfect we just wanted to have a bed to sleep. The guy at the front desk was very service oriented and kind, he answered all my questions and help another customer who had a phone from Canada and couldn’t make a phone called. The hotel as a stop to rest is perfect and quiet and clean. But that’s all, no fancy but remodeled to a more clean look. No breakfast and few options to go and eat but we got late so maybe on the day time you can find more.

We were greeted by very gracious, friendly staff and there is easy parking. That said, I have to be honest and state the reason the parking is easy is that the motel is the only thing around. It is quiet because there isn’t anything to bother you. When we pulled in, we were a little uncomfortable, but it was completely fine. The room was lovely! New furniture, comfortable bed. Mini fridge with actual small freezer with its own door. New flooring. There were two things that kept us from giving 5 stars. The room had a very distinct smoke smell. It was not overpowering, but you could tell it had been covered up when renovated instead of ripped out. The bathtub had been painted instead of replaced. We slept well and checked out easily. Hopefully they will correct these issues and you will have a 5 star stay!!

The area was a bit sketchy, but I never felt unsafe. I was woken up several time during the 3 nights with sirens- which I know they couldn't do anything about. We didn't always have hot water. Which after being at a festival all day sweating and hair full of dust was irritating. The bathtub had been painted and was peeling. The room was clean, bedding and floors clean. Owners were very friendly and pleasant. Would stay again.

The room could use a little TLC but was clean, comfortable and suited my needs. The staff was amazing! They accommodated my need for an early check in and were very friendly. Check in and check out were quick and easy.

I loved the Blue Moon Guesthouse! We had The Balcony room which is on the upper floor. It has a lovely little private porch area where you can sit with your morning coffee or a glass of wine and watch the sunset. Lovely big comfortable bed and a bathroom with two separate showers! Perfect! There is a big communal kitchen with the all important coffee machine (perfectly clean) and a lovely sitting room with armchairs and a piano. The Blue Moon Saloon itself is around the back and they had great music for the two nights we were there. Extremely welcoming bar staff (Zeke and Kat) and also the cat -Fourteen! The Blue Moon is also at the top end of Jefferson Street within an easy stroll of lots of great restaurants. In particular Pamplona and Vestal.

Very cozy room, large balcony, comfy bed, plenty of towels and little lagniappes. Didn’t use the kitchen but looked immaculate and well-stocked, huge and welcoming like an old fashioned kitchen. Easy access to guesthouse and room. We were welcomed upon entering by a smartly dressed guest from Denmark in the entrance parlor as he was reading by lamplight. Best part of all? Dancing the two-step in the Blue Moon Bar out back to some awesome local musicians & sipping a cocktail after driving from Houston in an unrelenting downpour and under tornado watch! So glad we chose this destination!

If you love the LOUSIANA culture and heritage and look for an authentic place with a MUSIC heart and soul then you find in the BLUE MOON GUEST HOUSE a hidden treasure. We had the charming "BALCONY" room with a private terrace. You feel that the owners trust their guests and that you are really welcome: you can move free in the house and use the kitchen and the outside terrace near the entrance. The BLUE MOON MUSIC club in the same building is an amazing place. We could enjoy an unplugged CAJUN jam session with 15 musicians and there was even offered free Lousiana food. As a guest you find a voucher for a free drink at the BLUE MOON bar when you check in in your room. All is very nice.

Great place to relax and enjoy yourself. Good music, (Saturday night). Our room was the Balcony. Very nice and yes, with a balcony. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. The common areas downstairs are really enjoyable and have a warm ambience. Downtown is literally across the street. And really just across the street is Bordens ice cream. Banana splits, sundaes and more just like they were 45 years ago. We will return.

It was fun to stay at this property. It reminded me of hostels I have stayed at in Europe. Such a property isn't for everyone. First impressions is, "is it safe", but I never felt threatened in any way. It took a little effort to understand the person-less check in process and locate my room. Bed was very comfortable and the wifi worked well.
