The staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful. We loved our jacuzzi suite. The new king size bed and mattress were very comfortable. We loved the balcony.

Perfect location for exploring Banff Lake Louise and Jasper in a chill remote natural setting. Fresh ground coffee was a nice touch in the jacuzzi king room we had in the main lodge.

Everything was perfect for our stay. Great location and the staff was exceptional. The room had everything we needed and the jacuzzi was a bonus for ending a day of skiing. We will be back

It was in a beautiful setting and close enough to simplify an easy morning arrival to Lake Louise. Our room was very clean, very well-decorated and had a mini-fridge, fireplace, in-room coffee, jacuzzi.

We really liked our suite with jacuzzi, it was super cozy and clean.

We are doing a 24 day trip of the Canadian Rockies and sailing to Anchorage for a few days before coming back to Calgary to staf with friends. This was our first stop on our journey, the resort it self is set up with a central reception and restaurants, the reception staff were very helpful and informative, we were allocated a room in block 4, it should be noted that there is no lift in the block so if you have suitcases you will need to carry them up the stairs though the staff will provide assistance if you require it. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable, and the resort clean the rooms daily but will not move personal it’s to clean. We ate in the onsite Legends restaurant on our first night, I had the Bison Burger with a side of onion rings and my with had the Elk and pork Burger and substitute the fries with a side salad, both meals were excellent, very tasty and hot from the kitchen. Again the restaurant staff were excellent. On the second night we ate in the Timberwolf restaurant which is a Pizza and Pasta restaurant again the food and service were excellent. On the whole this was a great place to stay I gave it 4 stars due to the bed room being a bit dated. But this did not impact the stay, I am sure we would stay here again

Perfect stay! We had fun staying at Lake Louise Inn. Smooth check in and frontdesk are really nice and friendly. Room was amzing! Very clean and has everything we need. It felt like we are staying in a luxury hotel. We felt very important and very happy with the animal art that was set up in our room! We had tried the smores activity at the gazebo and that was amazing too. We had breakfast at legends and appreciate our server as he is very accommodating as well. The food was great too, its delicious and very reasonable amount. Overall, a 10 star rate. Definitely will comeback and enjoy the mountains. Lastly, I recognized all the effort that was put through, it really made our anniversary memorable. Housekeeping did a very good job, spot on room, complete amenity and very cozy room.

The room had a cozy mountain feel, with comfortable furnishings and everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The fireplace added a nice touch after a day of exploring the area. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the property itself is well-maintained with great amenities. The location is perfect—just a short drive to the lake and surrounded by beautiful scenery. Overall, a great experience and excellent value. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Lake Louise.

The location is excellent, including convenience for the Lake Louise bus. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The receptionist explained the Lake Louise transport options, and a coin machine (needed for the public bus)and ATM were available in the lobby. There were also takeaway sandwiches and snacks available to buy for a picnic lunch at the lake. The bed was comfortable. The restaurants, including a continental breakfast option, were great. There were so many delicious foods available, all fresh and appealing. We tried both restaurants which had excellent service and food.

My spouse and I spent a couple days in the Lake Louise area while we were on our summer vacation in the Banff area in June 2025 and had two nights at the Lake Louise Inn. Overall, it was excellent!! There are so many good things I can say about it. We arrived on a Wednesday evening. Our check-in process went relatively smoothly, and our room (#1213) was clean and comfortable. The room seemed a bit dated and did not have air conditioning, but we didn't really need air conditioning because it wasn't super warm when we were in the area. There are a lot of things that this resort offers... two good restaurants (offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner), and indoor pool with multiple hot tubs, lovely outdoor seating areas, a miniature golf course that guests can use for no extra charge, and bicycles that guests can rent... also for no extra charge. We took advantage of all of those amenities. (Plus, there's an onsite coffee shop for guests who are interested in that.) Overall, this was an excellent resort and we enjoyed our stay very much. I would definitely recommend it for anyone who's visiting the Lake Louise area!

Stunning hotel with exceptional service and breathtaking views. Our hotel room was spacious and dead center in the long view of the lake, the peaks and the glaciers. Reservations are required for everything during summer season and we were glad we booked a guided hike and voyageur canoe weeks in advance. The Fairview restaurant views at the window tables are perfect. The Lakeview restaurant terrace is unbeatable. Skip the Lake Agnes Tea House. You can wait 45 minutes for a muffin. Hike any of the trails but realize that the edge of the lake, trails and boathouse are also open to the public and can get very crowded. Hike back down and enjoy a delicious lunch with a view of the lake as restaurants are reserved for hotel guests only. The guides for the experiences are well-trained, very professional but also relaxed. I had an issue with altitude having gone from flat as a pancake Florida to 6500’ in a few days. If you come from lowlands, give yourself a few days to acclimate before hiking rapidly uphill! My guide taught me breathing techniques and gently explained the way altitude affects different people. He was so kind and kept me from plowing ahead and getting myself in real trouble. Thank youJeff Douglas!

Gold lounge was very enjoyable. The employees were very attentive and friendly. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed ourselves.. The champagne and cake sent to our room for my son's birthday celebration was a wonderful surprise. Thank you general manager Tracy Lowe..We had a very good experience with Fairmont that I can tell you about.. for example.. Never miss the gold lounge breakfast service. You will never be able to say no to an omelette from the delicious hands and friendly conversation of an Italian chef... In addition, all employees show all the respect and service they can to ensure that you start the day with a smile... Mr. Ben, the man at the Gold Reception, is a true gentleman...An expert who does his job very well.. I would like to have another dinner at Walliser Stube and enjoy the pleasant conversation and delicious food service of the waiter from Brampton, whose name I cannot remember now. In conclusion, I would like to thank the friendly Filipino driver Enrique, who took us to Lake Louise Ski Resort by shuttle bus. The whole staff is a big reason why we go there again.. thank you Fairmont employees 🥂

You pay a LOT, but you absolutely get what you paid for. I booked during the off-season, booking a mountain-view room for roughly $600.00 - a bit steep for me, but when in Rome right? Anyway, I am guessing due to the offseason, I was upgraded for free to a lake view room (usually about $1,100.00), so that was an awesome surprise! The grounds, it goes without saying, are majestic. And I don't use that word lightly. Lake Louise is absolutely stunning. The gentleman at check-in was super kind, courteous and had a good sense of humour. For parking, you have the option of valet, or self-parking if you'd prefer. Dinner was really good, but for the prices, the portions were tiny. But to be fair, I knew what I was getting. It's part of the experience really. There are restaurants in town that are much cheaper. Breakfast was freaking awesome. They have the standard cold food continental breakfast section, but on steroids lol The selection is closer to the hotels I stayed at in Iceland (a country that absolutely takes its hotel breakfast selection VERY seriously), but you could also order hot breakfast too, or a bit of both! I can't say enough positives about my experience, just again, the price might be an issue. But you get what you pay for (and then some, in my case)!

We arrived FC Lake Louise and were absolutely delighted with how we were welcomed! We knew we were upgraded but didn’t realise until we arrived we were upgraded to Fairmont Gold Experience! What a fantastic surprise, complementary wine, flowers, chocolates in our absolutely stunning room with breathtaking view over Lake Louise. Anna at Gold Reception desk welcomed us & informed us of the delightful canapés, drinks hot & cold (non alcoholic) that we enjoyed as part of our stay between 5-7 pm. The room is a mini suite with every comfort imaginable, bed extremely comfortable and air conditioning was not noisy as experienced in other accommodation. The complementary toiletries, soap , shower gel , shampoo are luxurious and enjoyable! Breakfast in the Gold Lounge was really something else. Romeo (omelette chef) & Rouel (& all other staff) have been so kind and helpful. (We booked via Hays Jesmond in Newcastle & Prestige Tour Co and they have exceeded our expectations)!

Where do I start. I've seen this place too many times in pictures and videos but it does not do it justice. The most amazing views. The Staff was so friendly and attentive. They upgraded our room to a 6th floor lake view room for my wife' birthday. They had a piece of chocolate cake, wine bottle with two glasses and a personalized note wishing my wife a happy birthday for the property manager. The room was immaculate, the bed was comfy, the rooms were quiet, the tap water comes from the Victoria glacier! They food on property was delicious. They outline activities to do all week and have a ton of shopping in the hotel. Overall one of the better hotel experience I've had.

We stayed one night on our road trip through the Rockies. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Instant porridge and Nutrigrain bars provided for breakfast which was in an unexpected bonus. The staff in reception were very friendly and helpful. Lake Louise ( the lake ) is walkable ( about 25 mins) which is useful as there is virtually no parking there. We booked the Parks Canada bus to Moraine Lake from the park and ride at the ski resort a short drive away which worked out well. Happy memories of sitting on the terrace / balcony eating take away pizza (from Lake Louise Inn), enjoying a glass of wine as the sun set.

Great facility and location. The Paradise Lodge was the closest accommodation at Lake Louise that wasn't the Fairmont. It was about a mile walk but, again the closest available with a very scenic, safe walk along the river on a new path. Big bonus of free parking as parking at the lake was expensive and nearly impossible to get (full by 8 am). The rooms were large and featured a full kitchen, living room, balcony and large bedroom. Rooms were very clean on arrival and cleaned with everything replenished daily. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location super quiet with views out to the trees and mountain peek throughs. Internet was very good.

The property is such a quiet, serene setting despite being on the main road to Lake Louise and everything was so very clean. It reminded me of vacation stays we took as a family back in the 1960’s (family-run and meticulously cared for), except the furnishings, decor, bathroom fixtures, were NOT from the 60’s. It was updated and clean. We spent 4 nights in a Fairview preferred lodge room and because we added on a night, we had to move to a stand alone bungalow for the last night. We liked them both, but Fairview was probably bigger for 3 adults, and had a seperate bedroom. The Cooper Cabin had quite a view from the wonderful and spacious back porch that was quiet. The property grounds were so incredibly maintained (flowers and lawn that were gorgeous). We compared this to our previous 3 nights at Emerald Lake Lodge…. A gorgeous setting but more “run down” room accommodations. We’d take Paradise Lodge & Bungalows!

The location was excellent you can walk to lake louise in 20 minutes and dont have to stay on line to park the car and waiting for the shuttle bus.

Excellent location, friendly staff. Would definitely recommend. Anya was very helpful and let us borrow bear spray. Very peaceful surroundings. Very close to Fairmont Lake Louise, only a 20 minute walk. Lake Louise village a 40 minute walk. Tea and coffee in the rooms, with porridge and breakfast bars. Very clean and tidy room.

Friendly staff - clean and modern property - breakfast included was brilliant - plenty of car parking - laundry facilities for guests - easy walk to several shops and restaurants- Mountain View’s from bedroom - good sound proof rooms. Nice indoor large jacuzzi.

Very nice, warm and cozy place, with amazing steam room and jacuzzi, breakfast is very good, 5 min drive from Ski Resort. Will come back there 100%.

Very central to Lake Louise and very quiet. Rooms were spacious and had more than enough room for a family of 4. Great bathroom facilities and fridge and microwave for the night. Sadly we were only there a night so didn't get to use jacuzzi.

Wow! Absolutely loved my stay at Cathedral Mountain Lodge! Emma checked me in, walked me to my cabin, and offered to fetch my luggage from my car. The cabin was beautiful, really warm and comfortable. Both dinner and breakfast were out of this world, and the service was second to none. Compliments to the chef on the Halibut dish that I had for dinner. So tasty and well presented. I wasn’t expecting breakfast to be as good as dinner but it was! And it was really kind of the staff to look after my luggage while I went on my bucket list trip to Lake O’Hara for the day. Cathedral Mountain Lodge far exceeded my expectations, and was streets ahead of Emerald Lake Lodge where I stayed for a night last year. I will definitely be back!

Staff was really friendly and helpful. They gave me a great view from the cabin I was assigned. Other cabins views were not as good. A small seating area by the close river was beautiful. Breakfast was really nice.

Lovely hotel. Bed was incredibly comfortable and room was so cozy! Gas fire so nice. Dinner was delicious. Breakfast was not as good. It was great to be so close to main sites in yoho park. We got a complimentary canoe rental at lake moraine which was a surprise and was great!

Staff lovely. Exceptional food. Great free cooked breakfast. Free shuttle and canoeing at Morraine Lake. Beautiful rooms. Gorgeous fire. Spacious porch. Plenty of fire wood. Luxury deep in nature. Right by the kicking horse river with chairs and fire pits.

Wow! Really loved this historic hotel! Stayed in a king suite in the tower and had stunning views of the glacier above Lake Louise from every window. The room was clean and cozy. Only negative regarding the room is that the bathroom sink had no counter space (a pedestal sink). Wish they had placed a small table next to the sink. The breakfast buffet was delicious, but was understaffed and we had to wait awhile for refills when food ran out. Also, be sure to make dinner reservations for their restaurant well in advance or you’ll have to eat at the expensive Fairmont next door or drive into the village. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming and reasonably priced hotel. The beautiful lake is literally a 5 minute walk away. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay in a heritage room, which had everything we wanted with a lovely balcony and view. Bed was so wide and comfy, the shower was great and it was perfectly clean with toiletries refreshed everyday. Location is excellent with plenty of free parking, a short stroll to lake Louise where you can also get the Parks Canada bus to Moraine (you need to show hotel confirmation at the hut). Breakfast was nice however the staff were slow replacing items especially coffee when it run out and you had to wait a while for them to bring new ones out. Cons: The only thing missing from our room was a fridge but we kept drinks out on the balcony. Waited about an hour for cases to be taken to our room and we had to go down to reception twice to check their whereabouts! Take your own upstairs! Hot tub wasn't working but was informed in advance. The price was high but most the hotels in the area are expensive!

Location is everything! Minutes walk from Lake Louise makes this an awesome location. Especially considering it's next to impossible to park at Lake Louise unless you get there like super early (I saw it look full at 6am!). Staff was super nice and accommodating. Room was very clean, which is really what matters the most. It was quaint and charming. Some complain it's small but you have to set expectations considering location and price. We could sit on the balcony and see the mountain view. My family loved our stay. Breakfast buffet was standard items but seem good quality. Thick bacon slices, actual individual fried eggs, etc. Most importantly breakfast was convenient. Tip for those intending to visit Moraine Lake, absolutely book the Parks Canada ones in advance as soon as you get the room. They sell out fast and it's a sight you don't want to miss. Other private bus options exist but at significantly more so if you are last minute, that may be your only hope. Don't do the public bus Roam option, that absolutely requires you take the first 8x bus from Banff. While I read elsewhere they may let you on if you are staying at Deer Lodge, it's not guaranteed.

Glad I paid a little more for a "deluxe" room. 5 minute walk from Lake Louise. Convenient but far enough away from the crowds. Lovely little deck with a view of the glacier and the sound of the river below drowned out most of the traffic noise. Glad I booked this place and didn't pay three times as much for the chateau right on the lake. The room was very comfortable, just the right size and quiet. The restaurant was reasonably price and fabulous food.

A comfortable, friendly place to stay with very helpful staff. Great restaurant with good value tasty food and healthy options. Well equipped kitchen to make drinks or to cook. Water bottle refilling station by reception. Laundry facilities. Lots of free parking for residents and six mins drive to shuttle for Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. We had a private double room with en-suite toilet and shared shower in the hallway. The room was basic but comfortable and the shared shower clean. It was a bit noisy (heavy door closing and conversations in the corridor) but not excessive and not late to not the night. Really helpful to be able to borrow bear spray at no cost as essential for hiking. Very attractive setting and grounds with hammocks and picnic tables.

Spacious, clean and comfortable. Lake Louise Village is at 3 minutes walking with small grocery stores and a huge mountain sport shop. The Lake Louise Public bus stop is right in front of the hostel. The strict is excellent condition, I was surprised how bathrooms were always clean and ready to be used with new towels in the separate shower room. Kitchen fully equipped with all the essentials and very spacious. The hostel is divided in 2 building, where in the main one a sauna is available, a cozy living room to chill and read or play and a cafe where they provide all day food and drinks. Staff in particular is exceptional, we had the pleasure to meet Quirino, as a great host he provided all the information , great tips regarding the area and a very warm welcome, plus he managed to find us a room since our booking was not in the system. Can’t really thank him enough! One of the best encounters we had so far in Canada, positive and super friendly! Thanks again Quirino

It’s a nice, modern building, well staffed with a friendly team. Our private double bedroom was modern, clean, comfortable and more spacious than we found at other HI Hostels. It had an en-suite toilet and sink, which was great. The shower rooms on the corridor were also modern, clean and pleasant to use. You just can’t fault the facilities of this hostel. It’s a great place to stay.

Best hostel in Canada Ive been so far. The site is central, easy access to the main trails and beautiful, the staff is super helpful, you can rent bearspray !!! Very helpful! The rooms are clean, the bunkbed are actually made for grownups people rather than Ikea kids bed!! The kitchen is clean and has everything you need!!! There's a restaurant where to have a beer after a long hiking day! Showers are also very clean and there are plenty so you don't have to wait! There's also a very cozy communal space with couches, pooltable and a fireplace. Everthing was so inviting!! Had a greeeat time!!!

Luggage storage until check in handy. Good location, walking distance to bus stop, shops. Upstairs lounge comfy to hang out in. Room as pictured/described on website. Multiple shower rooms along hall, practically an ensuite. Everything clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant great, we had lunch, dinner and breakfast there, all good food and reasonably priced.
