The property is fantastic and highly recommended! What really makes it exceptional is the staff. Everyone at this property goes above and beyond to make the experience world class. Rodrigo, the young man that greeted us, parked our vehicle and brought our luggage in, is a shining example of exemplary service. There are numerous other members of the staff that went above and beyond that I could mention without hesitation. In addition to the staff being amazing the rooms are lovely, the pool and deck is relaxing, the spa is welcoming and the food in the bar and restaurant is delicious. I can’t recommend this experience enough. We hope to return in the future.

Probably the best hotel I’ve been to (and I’ve been to quite a few good hotels). This hotel was simply something different. The location - amazing view right above the Douro river. The design - beautiful, just beautiful, the room , the lobby, restaurant, bar, spa - you can see every little detail was considered. But above all it was the service - everything you need even if you didn’t know you need it was provided. The stuff is always there for you with a big smile. I’d say that in terms of service this hotel sets a new standard. Hope we’ll have the opportunity to come back to this hotel next year. 11/10.

A new resort in a 400 year old vineyard. Exceptional property. Location was really picturesque. We booked 5 rooms as a group vacation. Hotel was very elegant. Staff were very friendly and attentive and will do everything to make ur stay memorable. Rooms are very comfortable. Their spa is very nice with sauna, hamam and a lap pool overlooking the valley. Must try their port wines. On the whole we have really enjoyed our stay at this property . Thank u all.

One of our favorite hotel experiences ever!! The hotel itself is understated luxury with subtle mid century decor and elements. The pool and spa with additional indoor pool, steam room, sauna, and gym were beautiful and really were a huge perk. The included breakfast was delicious, and the staff were incredibly kind and courteous. We can’t wait to visit again. Also, the wine that comes from the hotel’s vineyard was the best red wine we had on our trip. You won’t be disappointed staying here! 10/10 highly recommend.

What a beautiful hotel! Everything was nearly perfect! The rooms are lovely (although our river view room didn’t really have a view of the river because of the trees). We did have a terrace however which was lovely in the morning with the sun (shaded in the late afternoon) If you want a proper river view I think the rooms on the higher floors without a terrace might be a better option. The bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in with down pillows ….. The food overall was excellent and the breakfast was amazing with so much choice. The service was occasionally a little sporadic with items being forgotten. A beautiful pool area with a lovely bar and restaurant (again slightly sporadic service) and the staff were lovely. A great 4 day stay…..

This is an extraordinary property and we had a wonderful stay. The views are spectacular and the staff incredibly helpful. The breakfast experience is amazing. Wonder dishes prepared in a wood burning oven that are unique and not just the typical omelet bar. Dena in the breakfast room made us feel welcome each morning. The indoor pool and steam rooms are very therapeutic and relaxing. The welcome snacks and port are delicious and refreshed during our stay. At 3:30 they put out finger snacks that are free and fun. And we had dinner one night in the bar with creative drinks and snacks. The concierge helped line up a car to take us to town and pick us up one night which was great. And the room amenities are equally terrific. One of the nicest spas anywhere in the world!

I recently stayed at Sin Sexes Hotel in Douro, and it was an unforgettable experience. The breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape were absolutely stunning, making every moment feel like a dream. The bed was extremely comfortable, providing a perfect night's sleep, and the spa facilities were top-notch, offering a truly relaxing retreat.The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options to suit all tastes. Additionally, the proximity to local wineries was a fantastic bonus. The setting of this hotel is spectacular. There is not a bad view. The rooms are beautiful and very functional. The staff is wonderful and very attentive and detail oriented. The facilities are great although I wish the pool was a little warmer. The breakfast was exceptional with many choices. The restaurants are very expensive but the food was well-prepared. A good alternative to the more gourmet restaurants would be at the bar or outside the bar where you can enjoy flat bread or a burger. A little more attention could be paid to some of the carpets which should either be cleaned or replaced (mostly the high traffic areas). If you want a relaxing environment in a beautiful location with great staff this is the place to be.

Nestled in the Douro valley, Six Senses sprawls over 17 beautiful acres of hills and gardens. Linda and I aren’t “spa” people, but we opted to stay here as it was recommended to us by friends who are. The staff and service is amazing. Five star plus, plus! The room overlooking the vineyards was large and gorgeously decorated. We stayed two nights while we visited several Douro Valley wineries. The first evening we dined in the Wine Library. The second night we dined in the Vale Abraao restaurant. Both were on property and were delicious. We enjoyed both places immensely. The breakfast spread and special order items were the best we’ve ever experienced. The only thing that topped the breakfast was the service. The ladies who took care of us were extremely sweet and very accommodating. The spa facilities, gyms and equipment, and pool were amazing, even for us non-spa people. Very expensive, but if you’re looking to be pampered and blown away by the service, the facilities, and the beauty of the Douro area, this is the place for you!

This was one of the nicest places we stayed during our trip to Portugal. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a river view room which provided a spectacular view of the Duro. Enjoyed sitting out on the balcony The staff was very friendly and helpful Patricia and Rafela made great suggestions for touring Quintas and even made reservations for us at these places. Paulo gave great recommendations for dinner and was very helpful Parking was on the property and free. The breakfast had many choices and tables provided a view of the river We would definitely stay here again

This modern hotel is situated right on the Douro River across town easily accessible from the train station by walking over the old bridge (now a pedestrian only walkway). The room was a good size and comfortable. There is a small attached balcony but unfortunately there is no separation from the next room's balcony. We opted for 1/2 board which included breakfast and dinner in the restaurant which was excellent. I would recommend this as its great to relax in the hotel after a long day of touring wineries. There is also a bar on the first floor with good wine and cocktail selections. The pool was indoors and heated. The spa was closed for Covid. There's also a sauna. The staff was friendly and made all our reservations including a private car tour of a few wineries and a boat cruise on the river.

We were offered a switch to a river view when we checked in and it was well worth it. We got a fabulous view across to the Sandeman's estate opposite and of the river either side. The room itself was very good, decent size, quiet and comfortable. Service was superb apart from the long wait at times to get a drink at the bar. It was worth the wait for the very comfortable lounge which had a huge picture window overlooking the Douro. Breakfast is very good, a well stacked buffet with a wide variety of items. Only disappointment was the restaurant where we decided to eat one night only to find a pretty poor buffet set up for a large coach party staying that night. If we had known we would have eaten at one of the many alternatives outside.

Hotel overlooks the River Douro, and few minutes walk from the railway station. Would recommend a room with a balcony, with fine views across the river. I didn’t use it but there is a decent sized swimming pool. Had dinner one evening in hotel, it was a buffet with good selection, something for most tastes. Breakfast is also buffet overlooking the river, again with good selection to choose from. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Just a one night stay with my family. The river rooms are very nice and confortable, very clean, great view, good airconditioning and silent. We had buffet dinner, the food was very good. Not a huge buffet but the quality was good and the service also. The view form the Restaurant at sun set was great. Breakfast was also buffet, simple but good, the athmosphere was good, just relaxing viewing Douro.

The hotel was very basic but also very clean. The spa was great for relaxing. The room was clean, large and had a beautiful view of the river. Breakfast was varied and very good with traditional food. The hotel is located in a very calm place, next to the river, close to two restaurants and a bar to have a drink in the evening (there's only one bar in this place). Wifi in your room, fairly good signal...parking outside of the hotel.

Nice room with a view of hills. Comfortable. With more people in the hotel the sound carries. The spa is not hot but it was adequate for water aerobics. Good shower and internet in my room and spacious. Breakfast was amazing.

Very strange to find such a good hotel in one of the most depressing and rundown villages we've been to for quite some time. Everything about the hotel was very, very good.....The room, the spa, the staff and especially the restaurant both for dinner and breakfast were all way more than just OK. Clean, bright and modern. But the surrounding area seemed to be full of run down and derelict houses and what used to be hotels from the days when ' taking the waters ' was the fashion. Having said that, we enjoyed our one night stay enormously and would happily go back to stay next time we're in Resende.

Receptionist was not helpful with river cruises, pointed to brochures. It was end of tourist season so river cruises, restaurants were minimal. Rooms were large and clean.

Loved this hotel! Amazing views and wonderful staff. Angela was so helpful in getting us a reservation at a nearby vineyard for a tour and tasting. You’ll definitely need a car, as there really is nothing within walking distance. If you want to get away from it all and enjoy amazing views of the valley in a quiet environment, this is the place for you. The room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. Our meal at dinner was very good, and so was the complimentary breakfast. There are other restaurants down by the river, but it's a bit of a drive on narrow, winding roads. I would not recommend driving them in the dark. No reason to really go anywhere else while at Da Marka. They have everything you need right there. Highly recommend this spot! One minor issue was that the walls of the rooms are pretty thin, so you can hear your neighbors moving around and toilets flushing, but guests were generally quiet.

Quinta Da Marka has a pristine view of the river and rolling hills of the Douro Valley from multiple locations on the Quinta, including our room, the pool, patios and dining area. The staff was warm and welcoming. When we arrived mid-afternoon, Susana prepared a delicious lunch for us. We chose to relax and take in the ambiance on the patio near the pool all afternoon until dinner. Both dinner and Breakfast were delicious! Our room was comfortable and quiet. Upon our departure Angela gave us many suggestions of places to visit. We would highly recommend this Quinta for a deluxe and relaxing stay.

Absolutely amazing place! The room was perfect, super spacious, clean and with an awesome view. The bed was comfortable. The staff, especially Milene and Angela, were so friendly! Milene cooked an amazing dinner for us and made sure we felt comfortable upon check-in. The pool area is also very nice, with a great view. The best place to relax!

Fantastic small hotel situated on working vineyard, furnished old world charm. Lounge, library and many outdoor areas to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the amazing views over the Douro Valley and river. Angela and her staff were fantastic offering great service, we were treated like royalty. She picked us up from train and ferried us around to and from train station and to a nearby vineyard for lunch and wine tasting. Best breakfast we've had on our travels though France, Spain and Portugal. Room was amazing with all amenities great view of sunrise, river, and sorounding vineyards. We enjoyed their beautiful rose wine produced on site at a extremely reasonable cost, they had others but we only drank the rose with it's crisp and fruity taste. Great pool with plenty of sun lounges and of course the fantastic views. I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing time out from the rigours of travel, we stayed 3 nights and loved every minute there.

Special place! I searched for something traditional, but with splash of luxury and modern things. It definitely is the place - feels like home, has its traditional Douro quinta vibe and, at the same time, the rooms, bathrooms are modern. You have the magnificent view from everywhere - the room, the pool, restaurant, backyard! The traditional portuguese cuisine here is tasty, the service is exceptional - Angela is the best, she’s magically appears everywhere you need her help! The rest of the team are very friendly and helpful!

one of the most beautiful farmstays we ever stayed at. the surrounding nature was amazing. we really enjoyed the breakfast and also made well use of the jacuzzi in the spa area. the staff is very helpful and did their best to advise us on activities in the area.

My partner and I were lucky to have the entire hotel and spa for ourselves before a big holiday weekend. The staff is so lovely and made us feel so welcome at at home. The spa was cozy with a sauna, hot jacuzzi and turkish bath, and the staff even filled the entire spa with candles for us. The outdoor pool was cold and perfect for cold dips in the rain (strongly recommend this!). After the spa we had a 3-course dinner with delicious homemade dishes and local wine. The restaurant is like a restaurant / living room with a little bar, pool table, fire place, sofas etc. The facilities were great, we really loved this. Our room was beautiful and with a balcony facing the greenery outside, and you could even hear the stream. To finish off our stay we got an amazing big breakfast, just for the two of us! We really got a 5* treatment here. Loved the location near to Lamego, and yet in a calm place on the countryside. Thank you so much, we will be back!

We recently spent a few days at this beautiful, family-run guesthouse in the Douro Valley and it was everything we had hoped for – a real escape from the city to the quiet, peaceful countryside. Surrounded by stunning views and gorgeous pools, it was the perfect spot to unwind. There’s not much to do in the evenings other than head into the nearby town for dinner, which suited us perfectly – we were after some proper downtime. Breakfast was a real highlight each morning – fresh, local, and prepared by the host herself. We stayed in the renovated old building rather than one of the newer, modern units by the infinity pool, and we’re so glad we did. The apartment was absolutely gorgeous – spacious, full of charm and character, with a lovely big bath as the centrepiece and refreshing aircon throughout. It really felt like our own private retreat. The guesthouse itself is separate from the family home and feels more like a self-contained house, complete with a beautifully decorated sitting room, a breakfast room, and a huge terrace where we enjoyed our breakfast each morning. One of the highlights of the stay was the tour of the family vineyard, led by the host’s brother. It was clear he was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about winemaking – a lovely, personal touch that made our stay feel even more special. All in all, a very personal and peaceful experience in the heart of the Douro. We’d happily return.

Wow, what can I say! Margarida is the most gracious host. From check in to departure, very accomodating and helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had all we needed. The breakfast she prepares is all very fresh and delicious! from the homemade jams and pastries, to eggs, fresh fruits, local cheeses, meats etc. just perfect. The inn is completely charming and comfortable. The patio has an amazing view! wow. Her brother Luis, runs the winery. He has so much passion for the property, the history, the wine, and creates some terrific wines! If you would like the personal Douro valley experience, this is the place to go.

Everything. The setting was stunning with fantastic views over the valley. The bungalow was extremely spacious, spotlessly clean. It was equipped with everything you could possibly need. The bedroom was comfortable, the bathroom was huge and modern. It was a very peaceful location with a lovely pool overlooking the valley. The hosts / owners were very friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Louis' wine tasting was great fun and informative, Margarida gave us loads of tips for the area and booked restaurants for us.

Our stay at Casa do Romezal massively exceeded our expectations. We stayed in one of the bungalows - the views from here are absolutely incredible, so much so that we didn't really leave the house during our stay! The place is really spacious and has been done to a great spec - very clean, comfortable bed and amazing bathroom! Margarida is a lovely host, really helpful and welcoming, and even specially baked a gluten free cake for me for the breakfast which was so kind - and the cake was delicious! We did the wine tasting on our second day with Luis which was fantastic, we discovered white Port for the first time which we will definitely be having again!

I can’t say enough about our stay, except that it wasn’t long enough—it was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt so welcome and at ease. The grounds are stunning and bursting with colorful flowers at every turn. Margarida welcomed us immediately upon arrival and promptly checked us into our suite which was deliciously cooled with the AC on a blisteringly hot day. The room was perfect: clean, spacious, tastefully decorated, with all the amenities needed and absolutely stunning. Breakfast was cozy and delicious. Margarida prepares eggs freshly for the guests and brings in fresh bread from the bakery each morning, along with fresh cut fruit, cheeses, meats, yogurt

Manuel and his family were amazing: friendly, hospitable; and helpful!! Felt like we were visiting long lost family. The property was extremely nice, rooms were great (clean, comfortable, well appointed), and the scenery was awesome. Little cool outside to enjoy the pool...but we would have!!

Everything is great here! especially the owners of this house, they are kind people. if you choose a place in this region, don’t even hesitate, this is the best place. beauty, cleanliness, delicious breakfast, silence, close to the city and the river. this place deserves a million hearts!

We had a lovely stay! The view is gorgeous, the hosts are extremely kind and helpful, and we loved every minute of our time there. We stayed with a baby, and the hosts accommodated beautifully us as family, gladly fulfilling our every request.

The Owner took great care of us. The pool was amazing. The morning breakfast was so good, and plenty fault there was lots of choices. I have also added a photo further down.

Situated in a beautiful valley with stunning views but you will need a car to get here as it is out in the sticks. There was no restaurant on-site (in June) but you can go to the nearest small town to find cooked food or buy from the supermarket and bring it back to eat. There is a small kitchen associated with the room rent which can be used for food preparation. Try the wines made at the property; both red and white are excellent - as was the port which unfortunately was not for sale. There is a very nice pool which Is partially covered and a garden in which to sit in. Buffet breakfast was good and you can either sit inside the dinning room or outside on the terrace overlooking the vines. Recommended.

A beautiful peaceful location in a valley. Wonderful to have breakfast in the sun on the deck overlooking the vineyard. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Excellent wifi in the main part of house.

We stumbled upon this little oasis and stayed for 3 nights. From the very start João and his Mum made us feel at home. The rooms are super clean and homely, and you can book one with air con. They have an amazing pool, a games room in an outhouse and can cook upon request. Kids would love it as there is lots to do, plus a spa (hot tub). It's also very close to Vila Real (20mins) and Regua (Douro river - 30 mins). The photos are spot on and they whole package is a winning formula. If you are looking for an authentic off the tourist path Quintas then Solar da Portela is for you!!

This experience is fantastic 👏 Just imagine being in the middle of the vineyards, 100% calmness, in a amazing beautiful valley surrounded by green mountains, and still with all comforts of modern life. The staff is super friendly.

This hotel has an excellent location in the city centre, just by the river and within walking distance of numerous restaurants and shops. The building itself is beautifully renovated, blending modern comforts with historic charm. Everything was spotlessly clean, and our room was very comfortable. We stayed on the third floor, so we weren’t disturbed by any train noise, which could be an issue for lower-floor rooms closer to the tracks. The air conditioning was a great feature, especially since the room tended to get quite warm. Breakfast was generally good, with a nice selection of fresh and homemade items. The pumpkin bread and homemade cakes were absolutely delicious! However, we felt that there could be a bit more variety—especially more scrambled eggs, bacon, and white toast bread. These additions would make the breakfast even better. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel in a prime location, with clean and comfortable rooms and a lovely atmosphere. A slightly expanded breakfast selection would make the experience even better, but we would definitely stay here again! Ps. The elevator is slow but just take the stairs if you can. It's much more healthy and sustainable.

Just stayed here for two nights at the end of a fabulous week-long cycling tour of the Douro and what a nice way to conclude our visit! The hotel has been restored and , obviously, lovingly attended to in details both architectural and aesthetic. Our room was sweet, clean, quiet and comfortable. Updated bathroom, the shower especially functional and welcome after a long hot day! The staff are super friendly and efficient and ready to help with anything we needed. The location is convenient , close to the river, railway and some great restaurants! I was a tiny bit concerned about being close to the rail station but not to worry! The little local trains are few and far between and rather charming. A non event. The beds and bedding were comfortable and everywhere the hotel is clean and lovely. Breakfast was nice, especially loved the yogurt pots. 😉 Thank you for a wonderful stay in Regua!

The hotel is perfectly located on one of the main streets of Peso Da Regua. The hotel is located in a historic building that has been restored very expertly. Many historic wall and ceiling surfaces have been left uncovered and exposed, forming a highly decorative interior element. The hotel had a sales point where unique local handicraft souvenirs were sold. Of course, the famous wines of the Douro region were also on sale. The hotel room was bigger than expected, clean and furnished with everything you need. The personal greeting card in the room made you feel welcome. The hotel wifi worked flawlessly. The hotel staff was extremely kind and friendly. The latte served at night in the lobby bar was one of the best we've ever had. Breakfast turned out to be the biggest and most pleasant surprise. Personal greeting cards awaited us at the breakfast table. The breakfast buffet had such a large selection that you don't often see even in 5-star hotels. Everything offered was fresh, tasty and locally sourced. Peso Da Regua may not be much of a tourist destination, but its location between the Douro wine region and Porto is very suitable for a stopover. Be sure to book a stay at the Original Douro Hotel, it's worth it!

The architectural renovation was beautifully done and had inspired touches of preserving the integrity of the original structure while making it modern and elegant. The stay was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was amazing! Delicious homemade everything was a treat! The room was clean and comfortable. The location in Douro Vally is perfect.

After being blown away by the fun, funky and well-managed hotel in Porto, my husband and I were lucky to stumble upon another gem of Portuguese hospitality . The Delfina Douro is an outstanding hotel, and not only because of the hypnotic, pastoral view. The hotel is exquisitely designed and decorated, overlooking the Douro River in the heart of Portugal’s wine country. It was an unexpected surprise. Due to the genuine friendliness of the folks in these parts, the service was great. We had dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed the food , which was only enhanced by the ambience inside and view outside the hotel’s restaurant. Breakfast was rich in both variety and taste.The only misgiving I had, was that the bathtub/shower was somewhat treacherous for a weak-kneed, flexibly- challenged (A.K.A. old) person such as myself. To be fair, however, I did not request a walk-in shower nor indicate my age when making the reservation. Overalll,both my husband and I enjoyed our stay immensely.

Excellent and friendly service. We went there late but the hotel restaurant was still waiting for us and served us dinner. We hung out at the bar. Very relaxing. The river view was spectacular. We walked around the hotel early in the morning and had the perfect sunrise view above the river. Will stay again.

This hotel has a magnificent position, far superior to many of the top hotels in the area and with it come perfect views. The rooms are very basic and nothing special but sufficiently comfortable and clean. The furniture is very cheap and basic, think Ikea-lite. The reason to stay here is the fabulous view- from the rooms, the dining space, the lobby, the pool. Unfortunately, the room's small balconies are nonfunctional at multiple levels. First, there is only a low level deck chair, and a single chair space. The eyeline is not ideal due to the chair type, and it's amazing that noone thought of a couple wishing to sit on the balcony at the same time, placing two small chairs with a higher seat level in the space. Having said that, we still loved being able to stand there and look in each direction and different light-of-day conditions. This is not as busy a section of the valley, making it a far more pleasant choice and you don't look directly into busy hill towns. Parking was ample and easy. The staff at the desk were lovely, but the staff at the restaurant were hit/miss and somewhat clueless. The basis for the 4 vs 5 score is that the restaurant is a 1 (or zero). We had the absolute worst meal we have ever had in Portugal or Spain, over many decades, at this restaurant. Overpriced and poor by all standards, it was hard to eat... or forget.

Absolutely stunning views and incredibly helpful staff! The team at the desk helped me to book a last minute tour from the day. It was so sweet they would address my by name. The rooms were spacious and clean, not to mention the beautiful view from the balcony. The breakfast was great and there were lots of delicious options for dinner. Great place to enjoy the Duoro valley and recharge. Will be back!

Stunning location. We wanted a modern minimalistic design hotel and that is what we got. Hotel grounds, building is very modern very impressive, very clean. When you walk into the lobby check in, the open floor surrounded by view is a love at first sight. Staff is very friendly. View from the room is same amazing, must have taken like 100 pictures of the same. I liked that it is not too close to the main town but isolated, 5 minutes drive, The main town is lovely and quaint, the walk bridge, many restaurants , train station. Liked the breakfast with the freshly squeezed juice and variety of bread. Very close to a few good wineries. Price was super cheap as we traveled in mid March. Drive to the place was very easy from Porto. While what i didnt like were a few as i listed, the good totally made up for it and would love to be back in a bit warmer season.

We really enjoyed our stay at Douro Castelo. A perfect spot in Lamego. The hotel was clean, the jacuzzi and sauna were relaxing, the location was a short walk to restaurants, the breakfast was good too!

My partner and I were celebrating our anniversary and booked this place last minute. The hotel was not only able to accommodate us, but also made our stay extra special with their graciousness. The staff was so friendly and helpful and kind. The breakfast is delicious and feels a little extra special. There is a restaurant there and while we didn’t get to eat dinner as we’d already booked elsewhere, we tried their chocolate and salted caramel cake. It was insanely good. I mean, one of the best I’ve had, and I’m the type of person to try something for fun and set it aside if it’s mediocre. But this cake, we’ve been thinking about it ever since. If a single item from their dessert menu is that good, you MUST try dinner. The restaurant is open to the public, I believe, even though it is not listed on google restaurants. Thank you all for such a special stay!

This hotel is an absolute gem! The location is stellar — just minutes from all the must-see historical sites in Lamego, making it the perfect base to explore this beautiful region. What truly made our stay special was the incredible staff. Everyone was warm and welcoming, but a special shoutout to Sandra at the outdoor pool bar — she’s amazing! Friendly, attentive, and always made us feel right at home. The hotel itself is lovely, with comfortable rooms, a great breakfast, and a relaxing atmosphere. If you’re staying in Lamego, this hotel is a must. Can’t recommend it enough!

Very friendly staff , pleasant, clean and relaxing environment, very comfortable room , nice view , very quiet,very comfortable bed, very nice breakfast in the lovely 3rd floor restaurant , very nice 3rd floor pool . Overall a very pleasant stay , highly recommended.

We loved the location right next to the Castle, and close to the centre of the Old Town. Our room was great - fresh coffee, comfortable beds, and a fabulous view from our balcony towards the monastery we had come to see. The breakfast was exceptional - so much choice, we felt we had eaten 3 breakfasts by the time we left the dining room! Although we didn't use the outdoor pool or spa facilities, we did check them out, and will definitely use them on our return (hopefully longer next time!) Nuno on reception was extremely helpful, sorting buses/taxis/train times for us, and suggesting things to see, which we really appreciated given the limited time we had in Lamego.
