The staff were absolutely amazing. Every single one of them- friendly, helpful, patient, kind. They were fantastic. The location was great- close enough to bus stops and shopping/restaurants but also quiet. The room was comfortable and peaceful, and spotlessly clean. The pool and the bar area were definitely a highlight. We had dinner at the restaurant one evening and enjoyed it very much, it was excellent quality. The room service food was great value for money and delicious. We also tried the spa, which we definitely recommend. Also have to say we loved the artwork in the hotel!

Everything was absolutely perfect. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful., both at reception, in the bar, and in the dining room. we had a perfect dinner and a perfect night sleep. The room was great and the two full size beds with four pillows each was a real treat. in the morning, we got up and had the most spectacular massage each and almost had a hard time getting on our way for the day. It was amazing.

This beautifully decorated property is entirely elegant with first rate service. the ladies at the front desk Marie and Marion are just so welcoming and warm, they really helped to make us feel so welcome. The furnishings are carefully curated and the Vincent Shepherd chairs really give the place a relaxed resort feel. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a roomy patio. The Nuxe toiletries are first rate and add a touch of luxury. The restaurant with its excellent sommelier is first rate as well. highly recommended for those seeking a relaxed luxurious environment to spend some time at.

The whole stay was amazing, from the warm friendly greeting on arrival to our departure. One night was not long enough. The hotel was spotless, from reception through to the very comfortable room. We had a wonderful meal in the evening, made even better by the lights outside. The food and service was excellent. Breakfast did not disappoint, again met by lovely staff, a great selection of nice fresh food. The hotel was easy to find and had good parking. Highly recommended and will certainly be back for a longer stay.

From the minute we arrived staff were so very friendly. Ground floor room, dog bed and bowl in room. Nice touch. Balcony overlooking courtyard garden. Bed bigger than superking very comfortable great pillows and linen. Room excellent. Pool and bar area looked fantastic, little expensive at €10 a pint. Evening meal In restaurant was exceptional, food cooked to perfection and the waiting staff extremely knowledgeable about food and wine made the whole experience worth going back.

Hotel was amazing. Room exactly like on the pictures. Clean, spacious. Great bathroom. Very comfortable and big bed. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Tasty breakfast and good value for money. I had a massage at the spa and it was very nice and relaxing as well. Also roof swimming pool was great and very relaxing.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel last weekend and had a friend meet us after the first night. The hotel has recently been refurbished and the rooms are all very good, with comfortable beds and soft deep pillows. Maybe a couple of finishing touches need to be addressed such as some sort of blind on the bathroom window in order to not be seen by the people in the villa type accommodation opposite. The wardrobe area in our room too had a few handles missing from the drawers, but as I said earlier I think it was in the later stages of refurb. However the staff made up for anything else as they were all very friendly and helpful. The first night we ate in the restaurant and we were welcomed by the staff on arrival and taken to our table outside with a lovely view over the small harbour. We were given 3 pre starters which we thought a bit strange, one after the other, but later discovered that they are trying to create a fine dining experience for all to enjoy. We later met the chef who was very willing to please and said he would be happy to prepare anything we wanted. The manager looked after us well too and tries very hard to see all the guests over dinner to make sure they are happy. Finally, just through the gate leading to the harbour there is a small beach with umbrella’s which would be ideal for adults and children alike and only about 20 metres from the hotel. All in all a nice break with lovely views from our balcony and excellent staff.

This hotel surprised us in every way. The first thing we noticed upon crossing the bridge to the small island in a lagoon was the uniquely beautiful locale. The real surprises unfolded once we entered the lobby. Wow! The lobby is a work of art in interior design. Check in was a breeze as we were greeted by the chief receptionist, Laetitia, and her assistant, Karen. They welcomed us in such a warm and hospitable manner.and at that point the general manager, Franck Laporte appeared like magic to welcome us as well to his gorgeous hotel. We were then quickly wisked to our deluxe room which truly will impress the most jaded travelers. The room was perfect with all the amenities needed to ensure a comfortable stay and the best part were the views - stunning! After spending 6 weeks on the Cote d'Azur, we finally felt the sense of being genuinely pampered. The entire staff is there to fulfill your every request. The food for breakfast and lunch was very good, but the best treat is definitely experienced during dinner at the restaurant L'Almandin, Chef de Cuisine, Christophe Schmidt, creates beautiful, fresh Mediterranean dishes that are a testament to the local food sources and flavors. As if all this was not enough, the entire top floor is occupied by the Carita Spa which sole purpose is to pamper and soothe you to a state of pure luxury! We will be returning to this gem of a hotel most definately very soon!

We had nice dinner at the Michelin star restaurant on-side. The breakfast in buffet style was a nice spread that we enjoyed at our leisure. Staff were very friendly and attentive. With good weather dinner and breakfast can be had outside overlooking the marina.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were treated like special guests. Staff grabbed our bags, guided us through no-hassle check in and took us to our room. Provided and orientation of room features and important information and then left us to enjoy the oversized modern hotel room. Extremely spacious for a hotel room in France! We loved the balcolny where you could have breakfast in the morning. The hotel restaurant is absolutely magnificent - I suggest dining out on the patio for the beautiful garden views. Service was top-notch and the food magnificent! We had a dinner that I will remember for years to come! The manager/owner helped guide us to the medieval city by foot (only a 10-15 minute walk) and there is a sister hotel right at the entrance to the medieval city that has a swimming pool that hotel guests can use. We liked not staying in the medieval city as those hotels are older and it is difficult to get through the cobblestone narrow roads. We liked having a hotel just outside the city. Everything was warm and friendly and every question was answered with a smile. There was not one thing that I could point to that was not ideal about our stay!. Notes - nice clean rooms. A/C works great. Breakfast was good and included (upcharge for eggs.) I would stay there again and again! In my opinion this hotel is 5-STAR! Recommend booking a junior suite - the additional money is worth it!

AMAZING. a must go if you are in Carcasonne !!!! Simply perfect hotel, from the decoration to the space in the bedrooms, to the professional and welcoming staff, always there to help and assist you during your stay. The breakfast can be in your room and there is so much choice, all delicious. Make sure to book a wine tasting with the Sommeliere, and also for dinner at the restaurant for a unique moment around food and wine.

A gem of a design hotel with attention to detail and decor. Knowledgeable and professional staff, beautifully appointed rooms and public areas, including breakfast room and restaurant. We were sorry to miss dining at the Michelin star restaurant, especiallu as the dishes and desserts we spied during check in looked delicious!

Excellent stay at this hotel, everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was super clean and well decorated. We loved the shutters in the window, we slept very well. However, the WiFi was not working and no continental breakfast should cost 25 EUR per person.

It is a truly lovely little hotel. Little in the sense that it is not big, but full of charm and personality. The way they managed to optimise everything is awesome. Our room wasn't big, but very well designed, to enjoy the seaview from the balcony, to the bed, to the shower: just fantastic. The bed was excellent. Soundproofing is excellent too. The spa is likewise small, but very enjoyable, with a limited access policy to ensure privacy. There is also an option to fully privatise it. The restaurant is great, with fresh, local and creative food, refined without ostentation. With a special mention for the dessert. Breakfast is very good as well. Both the breakfast and dining rooms are beautifully facing the sea. The private beach right in front of the hotel is perfect. I had read some comments before booking: it is not private in the sense it is not exclusive to the hotel guests, but it is not less convenient or good. The sunbeds are perfect, the beach really gorgeous and the water clear for swimming and snorkeling. Anything else? Of course there is! The staff is so friendly. A young team that is, but very professional and helpful. It was a delight to engage with them. Conclusion : it is the opposite of these "in your face" palace hotels or of these cloned hotel chains/resorts. It is a real little hotel, offering full comfort and amazing guest experience. It is a little hotel like we would like to see more these days.

You cannot find a better located hotel along this coastal region in France. It is right on the beach with magnificent views across the Mediterranean. The sunrises are spectacular. The private beach in front of the hotel is perfect for walking your dog at all hours of the night/day. It’s quiet except for the sound of the gently, lapping waves. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are lovely with sweeping views across the sea. Great beds and pillows and the housekeeping staff clean your room quickly each day. We spent five days here and used it as a base to discover other villages along the coast and into Spain. At no other place did we find another hotel as beautifully located as St. Elmes. The restaurant is superb with fresh, local ingredients, and everything is made in-house. Innovative cuisine, superbly prepared fish. The service is exceptional - professional and discreet. The breakfasts are of a high standard and the madeleines are the best in France. The massages at the spa are fabulous too. We live in France and have travelled widely, and can honestly say that this is one of the best hotels in France. We can’t wait to return.

It’s beautifully located with exceptional views over the Mediterranean. The sunrises are spectacular. Our suite was superb and the spa bath soothed aching muscles after long hikes along the peninsula. The restaurant is superb, the breakfasts delicious. The staff are welcoming and helpful. Housekeeping is top notch as rooms are quickly cleaned each day. There is nothing quite like this hotel anywhere along this coastline.

The best customer experience we have ever had in France. Everything was perfect from the welcoming reception, confortable room,delicious breakfast, great spa with incredible massage, heated pool and beautiful beach to the moment of check out. Right next to the beach, although very stony and shoes are recommended when entering the water. Quiet. Comprehensive breakfast with lovely view from restaurant. The staff we met, especially the manager, were very helpful.

The hotel is in the midst of vineyards. Quiet country side setting. Friendly and helpful staff, good reception, excellent food. Lovely garden with two pools, great for relaxing. Restaurant in pleasant court yard of an old well restored country house. Modern and whimsical decor go well the traditional stone construction. We had a smaller room, but for the two nights it was quite comfortable, with a balcony overlooking courtyard and a bit of the country side. We'll definitely go back there.

Beautifully renovated, modern hotel with fanatastic restaurant. Close to the lovely town of Barjac, which also has lovely restaurants. Short drive to Pont D'Arc which was stunning. Our room did not match the contempary theme of the hotel, which was disappointing - it needed an upgrade!! I would not hesitate to stay here again, but would ask for a newly renovated room. Staff were nice and friendly too, you might want to take a French phase book though...

Simply a gorgeous spot close to a charming little town named Barjac. The grounds are beautiful, with an amazing pool, views of the Olive Orchard and Vineyards. The restaurant has a cool little bar, a lovely dining room and a courtyard veranda.

Welcoming and helpful staff. The location is perfect, close to tram, trains, shops and bar/restaurants . The room was also very spacious and clean. A small minus was the awkward bathroom design which caused the shower to flood the floor if not careful and the lack of space at hand to place cosmetics . Breakfast facilities were ok. Would definitely come back , though!

I stayed at the hotel for a longer stay than most. There is a lot to like about this hotel. It is across the street from the train station but the rooms are quiet. The trams are across the street making it very easy to use public transportation. The walk to the main place is easy and can be done in a few minutes. There aren’t restraints near the hotel. Small marts are across the street in the train station. Getting snacks was easy. The room was small for an American but good sized for Europe. There was a good use of space. I liked that the refrigerator was large and the safe easily accessible. I did get the morning breakfast. It was the basic buffet but good. The staff made my stay. I try and stay in smaller or boutique hotels because there is a better interaction with the staff. Benny is wonderful and very helpful. The young staff member was also very kind. They helped me arrange to travel to the beach. I am finding that Best Western is becoming my favorite chain. They are fancy or small. Clean and reliable. As for me I would recommend this hotel for a short stay definitely. As for a longer stay my only drawback is the lack of nearby restaurants. I had a weird experience with the appearance and disappearance of the English speaking movie channel. The hotel could do better with providing an English speaking non news channel.

The hotel is made by it's wonderful, friendly and helpful reception staff. Nothing was too small for them to help! I didn't know that the electrics didn't come on in the room until the card 'key' was slotted into the receiver by the door - I'm not very technical! But was easily solved by a staff member who showed me how to use it. A very nice buffet breakfast, lovely seating area to relax in, though I did miss a proper bar to choose & order drinks from, rather than the lovely evening receptionist going off to prepare a drink for me? He was the star of the staff - he even watched out for me when I went along the road to withdraw some cash from the ATM at night, as I was a little wary. Nothing was too much trouble. Your staff are the best! I would most definitely stay here again. The proximity to the train stations, the trams, the restaurants and shopping areas. Just perfect! And the room was beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We stayed overnight at the hotel before catching a train to Barcelona. The check in process was very quick and easy and the staff were friendly and there was an elevator. Our room was modern and clean and was a little small with an average view out over an alleyway. The room had a fridge and a hairdryer and TV and air conditioning. We walked up to a main square in the evening and found plenty of bars and restaurants and a supermarket. Being over the road from the train station made the hotel a very convenient place to stay as we had an early train to Spain. Highly recommend.

This hotel was in a good central location. Be aware that is is right across from the train station and the local teams are directly in front of the hotel. There is also construction on the street, so it was loud at times, even with the windows closed. The room is a nice size and the coffee maker is a nice addition. The shower water was warm but not hot. And the water sprayed all over the bathroom because there is just a half wall in the shower. The staff were not very helpful or friendly. One staff member was outside the front door smoking every time we went out or came in. Not very professional.

We stayed in several different hotels during our recent extended vacation in southern France. We loved this hotel! It was as advertised, except better - only pleasant surprises! Each one of the staff we encountered was very accommodating and personable. It was ideally located so that we were able to explore the historic parts of Montpellier we had hoped to see, enjoy amazing restaurants, and discover interesting shops. The hotel also put us close to Sete, a location we wanted to explore. We used the train to travel through southern France, so the location of this hotel really worked for us. We were surprised how quiet our room was despite being next to the train station. Seriously! We appreciated the numerous eco-friendly touches throughout the hotel. Even the décor gives an eco-friendly vibe. We had a junior suite which was comfortable, spacious, and contemporary. Loved the bar/dining area, and the breakfasts were wonderful - lots of yummy and healthy options! A silly thing but important for me - they have the best hair dryer I've encountered in a hotel!!

PARKING / SECURITE : parfait PETIT-DEJEUNER : très bien présenté, bon accueil, mais pas de qualité du tout pour 21€ ou 25€: pas d'œufs durs ni de possibilité à la coque, alors que coquetiers à disposition ; œufs brouillés ultra cuits et secs ainsi que saucisses dures et du coup immangeables car trop cuites tout comme le bacon ultra cuit et sec car les 3 plats chauds posés sur plaque chauffante sans eau (photo jointe) ; sucre non disponible sur tables, que l'on vous amène à la demande mais 2 simples petits sachets uniquement (...) SALLE-DE-BAIN : trop petite mais bien équipée = bon grand double miroir et surtout bonne pression eau douche ; en revanche porte de douche fermée non étanche en partie basse donc tapis de bain trempé en 10 secondes (voir photos) MINI-BAR : pas de verres disponible ; on ne vous le monte pas en chambre, obligé d'aller demander et récupérer au bar ; mêmes verres non changés ou lavés lors nettoyage chambre ; tire-bouchon indisponible au bar Mini-bar vide, surprenant, mais le meilleur est que le frigidaire de ce mini bar est un simple meuble ; en effet me suis étonné que mes bouteilles à température ambiante après 1 nuit dans le mini frigidaire branché (lumière, photo jointe) ; après 2 réclamations, on m'a répondu que c'est normal, car le mini-bar reste à température ambiante ; de tous les hôtels en France, en Europe et dans le monde, c'est la première fois que l'on m'explique qu'un frigo est à température ambiante de la chambre (...)

Very modern and convenient location right next to the train station. Clean and modern with all the amenities. Rooms were very comfortable except that the pullout couch for our daughter had a bar in the middle horizontal that made it uncomfortable sleeping normally (she had to sleep sideways).

Staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The room itself was gorgeous, cosy and clean. Even though the hotel is right beside the train station there was no noise. Very relaxing and comfortable stay!

The hotel is across the road from the station and about a 10 min walk to the old town, which makes it very convenient. It's beautifully designed, and the rooms are very comfortable with great facilities. Breakfast is a little high-concept, but the food was good and plentiful and the coffee was great. The outdoor terrace was lovely for a warm weekend, but it would be even better if it was a non-smoking area. The wifi, however, is shockingly poor for a new hotel. It's a bit better in the public areas than in the rooms but even when available is very slow.

The pool was excellent and the on site restaurant was great. Good food and not too expensive. Just a few maintenance requirements around the residence. The jacuzzi was good fun and the golf holes were ok for my sons to have some fun on but not for a serious golfer.

Le personnel a été extremement agréable, que ce soit à l'accueil ou les techniciens. Le logement était tres agréable : propre, climatisé et muni d'un jacuzzi ! Enfin, le snack et les animations proposées nous ont permis de passer un excellent séjour ! Merci !

Nice n clean. We arrived late the keys to the room were in the safe with all instructions in English n French. Very helpful front desk. The hotel is far from the city nothing to do other than 6 hole pitch n patt course. Nice place to stay if you have own car. Very friendly to kids ( biking, walking, golf)

The maisonette rooms are small and there is an extra charge made for sheets and towels, but even so it was good value at the discount price we paid and very clean. Big fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, hob and microwave with grill, but limited kitchen size. The hot water was very hot and children would need close supervision using it. The staff were very helpful and spoke good english. We went off-season 13/9/2010 and it was quiet with mostly French guests. There is no car access to the apartments but are good level paths and ramps, you take your luggage on a trolley. It is very secure with security gates to all public areas. The location is very handy for visiting the Montpellier area and the Carmargue, but a car would be essential.

We (5 people--2 adults, 3 kids) stayed in the 3 bedroom villa w/ 1.5 bathrooms (shower was upstairs and toilet was downstairs) and it was good. If you stay longer than 3 days, make sure you bring your towels b/c you'll either have to buy from the store, or "rent" from the reception at 8 euros a set. The place was quiet, and not to far from the beach. for the most part it was about what we expected.

I only wanted a cheap place to put my head down for a night. The room was beyond what I expected; clean bed, good wifi, hot shower, quiet street in a room with french doors and wooden shutters looking out onto a street lined with trees - very French. The evening receptionist was beautiful the morning one very helpful. I arrived late, but found a little restaurant called l'Original nearby with excellent food.

Great hotel. Central location, friendly staff, my room was small, but clean and had everything I needed. Breakfast was cheap but good, and all staff I met were helpful, friendly, and smiling.

It was very clean. It was small , but comfortable. It was not expensive, so you cannot expect a large room. Had t.v. and internet, had breakfast if you wanted, but we wanted to eat at a little cafe nearby. Host very nice. Quiet street.

A very welcoming and helpful staff at this hotel. Easy to come to in a nice and quiet location. Be aware that not all rooms have aircondition, but the staff at the hotel are really helpfull for finding a correct room :)

A great little family hotel located an easy walk from the train station. The room was compact, clean, comfortable and very quite. Friendly staff too. An ideal place to stay for my far too short visit to Montpellier.
