Erg mooi hotel . Erg leuk opgebouwd de verschillende gebouwen passen helemaal in die omgeving . Sauna en een hottub denk dat als hotel vol zit en iedereen na het skiën wil welnessen dat het iets te klein is . Kamers waren zeer netjes en mooi ingericht . Ontbijt was meer dan perfect . Hotel heet 2 restaurants een gourmet en een bistro beiden waren heerlijk. Alleen vondt ik het bistro restaurant iets benauwend ivm erg laag plafon en weinig ventilatie en als iedereen aan het vlees of kaas fonduen is wordt hette snel warm. Erg hond vriendelijk hotel en meteen op het hotel terrein starte er een aantal wandelpaden . Ben echt benieuwd hoe het in de zomer is komen zeker nog eens terug .bijna vergeten de suttle service erg gemakkelijk

It was an absolutely unique atmosphere, a hotel that is a village. The rooms were wonderful a feeling of being back in time combined with quite modern luxury. Last but not least, everyone was incredibly friendly and above and beyond helpful making our trip perfect from day one.

Located in Sporz, just above Lenzerheide... Surrounded by an incredible nature with breathtaking views on mountains and valleys! Incredible hotel composed by several typical chalets refurbished with all the modern comfort and a cosy atmosphere. Staff is really nice, available and helpful in every situation... Spas is totally worth it. Little extras: free shuttles that will take you on the ski slopes and a free “goûter” for after ski! Great stay, I will definitely come back!

Had an AMAZING stay! The room were super spacious, clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities. There is a really good bath where you can unwind while looking out to the mountains. We were greeted by the owner and the owners son, both were super kind and professional. The breakfast had a lot of options. Highly recommended stay in Switzerland. The location is 15min from Chur Station which you can travel on the Bernina express to Italy (return/one way)

Rebuilt hotel (2015). Modern on the outside but almost chalet-like on the inside. Really comfortable atmosphere with extremely helpful friendly staff (family run hotel). Great restaurant which serves international food and some wonderful local dishes. This is a hotel for people looking for a great relaxing family atmosphere. Bedrooms are tastefully arranged with wooden beams, large bathrooms and some rooms with balconies.

The hotel location and the views of the mountains were stunning, both from the dining room and the room itself. The dinner was of a high standard and the set menus were excellent, as was the service. The staff were super friendly, helpful and very easy to talk to. The rooms and beds were very comfortable too. The hotel location was excellent, being so close to the Hornli lift and really peaceful. The Hotel Stoffel was the perfect getaway, and I will definitely stay there again when I next visit Arosa. Very highly recommended!

From the moment we arrived for a 4 night stay the team were fantastic. They spoke English, were welcoming and very helpful. Food was amazing, the first evening we ate at the hotel and were treated to a superb multi course meal. We had already decided to eat out the other evenings to experience more of Arosa but we would have rather have eaten at the hotel! Loved the food there. Breakfast was just as good. The room was great, I had a balcony that overlooked the valley. Amazing waking up to the cows bells chiming on the opposite side of the valley. Despite the heat the room was cool no air con required. Would definitely stay in this hotel again. we had such a good experience here before moving on to Davos.

The Stoffel hotel was indeed a happy find. Right from entering this renovated old house with the slight scent of pine we knew it would be perfect. The room with a South facing balcony onto a glorious mountain scene was the setting for a wonderful stay. The staff were warm,friendly and helpful and the evening meals in the restaurant were very special. We will return to Arosa and especially to the Stoffel hotel.

Though it was quite tucked away (in Inner Rosa), it was particularly special for that reason. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. I especially enjoyed my outdoor terrace where I could sit, read and gaze at nature. The sound of the river and the cute squirrels in the area were also part of my nice memory of staying here. The staff are also very helpful and kind.

Extremely nice hotel, rooms and staff. The changing dinner is fantastic (based on local seasonal produce), and you get it to a lower rate when you stay at the hotel. We (my wife and I) had the room with the rooftop terrace, which is an amazing place both during the day and to watch the stars at night. The hotel also gave us 2 "Arosa Cards" so we could ride the lift system, buses and most of the train ride to/from Chur (Arosa-Lüen + Lüen-Arosa) for free. That is a nice touch! The hotel is quiet, cute, beautiful and excellent spot to start your hikes, have a romantic holiday or take the gondola lift to the Hörnli mountain station. The nearest bus stop is only 2min walk away.

This hotel is convenient to the train station which was important to us since we were taking the Bernina Express in the morning. We opted to stay two nights and explore Chur and we're so glad we did. The hotel has large, clean and modern rooms. Our room faced the rear, was high up, and had a partial mountain view. It was quiet and peaceful. The breakfast is great. I especially liked the braided bread. The waitstaff are extremely helpful and the coffee is good. We ate at an excellent Italian restaurant very close to the hotel. We highly recommend this sweet hotel.

Loved this hotel! We were checked in by Ava who was really friendly and was happy to recommend somewhere to eat in the evening. The hotel is immaculate, clean and modern. Was our favourite hotel of our trip. We stayed in a double superior queen room, which was really spacious, with a huge bathroom with walk in shower and twin sinks. Tastefully decorated with the softest pillows and duvets. We had a great view from our window of the mountains and train station. We only stayed one night as we were moving on to Zurich but we did have breakfast which was really yummy with lots of choice of fresh food. The staff were super friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel. 2 mins from the train station and a really beautiful area. Thank you ABC Swiss Quality hotel !

Location fantastic literally across the road from the train station which we came into from Grindelwald and went out on the Bernina Express All staff we encountered were smiling, friendly and helpful. Rooms modern, well appointed clean and comfortable. Breakfast offered a really good selection of hot and cold food and coffee made by the lovely Gabi was amazing. She was our standout person so friendly and cheerful for the 2 mornings we were there.

For me,it was a very pleasant experience to stay at ABC Swiss Hotel. Only for one night,but very relaxing after a 12h journey. Very clean,all the things you would need(even a candy on the pillow,an umbrella,tee and coffee)a balcony with wonderful view and very much politeness and smiling faces. Which is important when you are in a foreign country.There was little things (such as mails with welcoming and safe trip wishes,in the day before arrival,or a little swiss chocolate at check-out) that make you feel not a simple impersonal tourist,but a respected guest. Very good breakfast,very good location,near railway station (1 min.) and the old city.I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you for your hospitality! A very good tourism management!

My two friends and I stayed in a suite for one night. We chose this hotel for its proximity to the Bernina train station and the option to book a suite versus a room. We were delighted with the suite, which was more than enough space for three people to stay comfortably. The shower pressure was excellent and the toiletries were high-end. The bedroom was large and the beds were very comfortable. The staff at the desk, as well as those serving breakfast, were polite and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was delicious! This hotel also provides several pleasing and unexpected touches, including fresh fruit, chocolate, and robes and slippers for each guest.

This hotel is located in the beautiful countryside south of Chur, part of a small community surrounding the Heiden Lake. It’s pretty much in the middle of nowhere, frankly, which if it’s away from the maddening tourist crowd that you wish to be, then this is the place for you! The building itself is new and well cared-for. From the outside it appears to be a very classy place, an impression which is only confirmed by one’s treatment when arriving on the inside, from the first greeting at the front desk to one’s handling in the restaurant which is on site. We had both a dinner and a breakfast there, and found both very much to our pleasing. The room (we were upgraded to a Junior Suite—thank you very much!) was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was quite big, with a glass-enclosed shower stall (much better than stepping in and out of a slippery high-sided tub!). There was a lot of storage space and even a mini-fridge, which we put to good use. In a word, if we were in that Lenzerheide area again, would we choose to stay there again? Absolutely!!! There’s a great experience to be had here and at a very fair price per night.

Beautiful location by the lake; positive and friendly staff; clean and quiet rooms and well balanced breakfast. Dinners in the restaurant were innovative as were the soups a taste of which were provided each night as dinner began.

Everything!!! The hotel was perfectly located next to the Tschuggen Ost ski lift and train station, the beds were super comfortable, the rooms are bigger than average, the shower was fantastic, the staff were super helpful and friendly and the breakfast was simple but delicious. I can’t recommend enough. We had such a great stay here and we will definitely come back.

This was the first time staying at this hotel, although we have eaten in the restaurant over a number of years. A lot of effort has gone into refurbishing the rooms, which retain a traditional alpine feel but are comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was great and the service then and throughout was attentive and friendly, despite the restaurant and hotel being pretty full.

The personnel is very friendly, welcoming and helpful for any question asked. The breakfast is good and suits people with gluten allergies. The spa is very pleasant. We liked it so much we stayed another night.

This was my first stay over night in Arosa. I chose a single room as I was here for one night. The room was small but clean and equipped with what is important. Breakfast was tasty. Will come back for longer stay in a fall. The location few steps from the railway station is amazing. I love the mountain vibe of a hotel. It is nice and unique place.

The room was superb! We got an upgrade for our special night and the hotel outdid themselves with their service. The breakfast was another treat, it’s a buffet with a great view of the mountains ⛰️

Wonderful place to stay, the beds were super comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. The personell was friendly, the food for breakfast and dinner was of great quality and I liked that they had a sauna/wellness available included in the price.

Very nice hotel infrastructure, with sport facilities, adjacent restaurants and the Schmuggler Bar. Decent breakfast, good value for the price. Bed was comfortable but the pillow too soft.

Perfect stay! The place is amazing, with very nice landscapes. All the staff, a family business, is very kind and polite. The room (for 4 people) was very clean and big. The bathroom was new and very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing! local products and probably the best bread ever we have tasted. We when to the restaurant for lunch and dinner for a couple of days: all the dishes we tried were amazing, something really appreciated after a full day in the mountains. Very recommended!

The view from the balcony is amazing. The restaurant has a nice vibe and the staff is very lively. The outside restaurant's terrace is perfect to a nice meal with beautiful view. A very welcoming place in general. Receive a handful of tips which hikes to take and where to go.

We had a lovey spacious room at the back of the hotel, which overlooks the slopes so you can see the skiers coming past your window. The layout of the room was well thought out, with plenty of space to hang clothes and ski gear for instance, and plenty of shelving around the sink and bath for toiletries. It could not have been better located - you are straight on the slopes when you come out of the door, and just a few metres downhill to the regular ski bus to get into town, to the station etc. The owners and staff were super friendly and helpful and speak great English too. The restaurant is fantastic, the best food we had during our stay. The terrace is a popular spot for lunch with skiers and locals. I am gluten free and they made sure that I was well catered for. There is a good choice at breakfast.

Location was perfect!! Beautiful mountains all around, pet friendly place, great views from the balcony and also delicious breakfast (breat from local bakery, etc.). Would stay a week if I could :). Hope to come back soon!

The rooms were really nice and big, cute checkered duvet covers, lovely balcony with fantastic views. Just outside of the town to not feel busy and on top of everything. It's an easy walk in. Perfect if traveling with a dog as there is loads of walking on the doorstep - you can have a maximum of three with you and they do not charge for them. Breakfast was super with the freshest eggs you'll ever have. Dinner menu catered to everyone's needs. The staff and service was super for our one night stay.

The staff were excellent- really welcoming and helpful. They gave us the tourist discount card which gives you 50% off attractions such as the cable car - a 10 minute walk from the hotel.Our room was spacious with a large, comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast offered a really large range, including hot and cold choices, a number of fresh breads and preserves and for a vegan or lactose intolerant diner, margarine. It was delicious. This is a characterful hotel in a charming old building, with some quirky decor ( in our room). We didn't mind the glass bathroom door as it was obscure enough. The shower was great, with a choice of heads and good water pressure. It was good having a kettle and tea and coffee in the room and the informative hotel guide told us that the tap water was safe and pleasant to drink. It also asked guests to report any maintenance issues and when we did, we could see it was being taken seriously, unlike other hotels we've stayed in. We're not sure why this is a 3 star hotel rather than 4 star. Perhaps the pillows?

I have just come to end of a lovely trip in Chur. This hotel has been ideal. I needed somewhere close to the station as I had booked a trip on the Bernina express It is really so charming. Its an old building set in the beautiful cobbled streets of the town. Everyone is so welcoming...from the lady in reception all the way to the ladies that take care of breakfast. My single room was perfect, and the bed was really comfortable. Unfortunately I had to be out of the room early a couple of mornings so I didnt get the chance to take advantage of the comfort . The shower was great, a real power shower and no loss of hot water or pressure during use, which is always a bonus . Breakfast was very enjoyable with lots of choices, hot or cold, and if you are lucky enough to get a window table you get a perfect view of passers by going about their day. Just a few minutes walk from the main station, passing plenty of shops if thats your thing. Also just a few minutes from a Migros supermarket. I would definitely stay here again if I visited Chur again.

Our stay was A+ perfect! This hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from the train station and in the heart of Chur’s old city. The hotel was perfectly quiet and comfortable. Just about all of city’s sights are a few minutes’ walk. The neighborhood was super-quiet, safe, and secure. The room was the perfect size for us, well-designed, decorated, furnished, and absolutely immaculate! The breakfast (included) was fantastic and included muesli, fresh breads, and fruit, as well as hot dishes. As frequent travelers, we always appreciate attention to details, and this hotel clearly knows travelers’ needs. Thank you!!!

Location was great,only a 4mn. walk from the station, but off the central pedestrian street so very quiet. Beds were comfortable and everything was extremely clean. I had a single room on the top floor so without air conditioning it was a bit warm even with the fan. The insect screen in the bathroom seemed to be mounted on the wrong side of the skylight window (or maybe they should leave instructions). Breakfast was wonderful there were normal Swiss breakfast choices-(cheese, meat, yogurt , cereal and bread) as well as hot breakfast more in line with American and British tastes. The homemade jam was excellent. Breakfast was included in the price of the room. If you stay for more than one day it’s worth it to ask for the guest discounts coupons-also included in the price. I was only spending the night to catch the Glacier Express in the morning so I didn’t use the coupons.

We absolutely loved staying at this hotel. It was a 10 minute walk from the train station in the old town near all cafes and restaurants. The staff at the reception was super friendly and professional. Both ladies, which names I can't recall were lovely upon our arrival and departure. The room was absolutely beautiful with large windows facing the church tower and the old town. The room was very big and comfortable. There was no a/c but it had two working fans, but there was such a nice breeze with those big windows that there was no need for a/c or fans. The bathroom was quite comfortable as well. The hotel was spotless. The included breakfast was absolutely terrific! We were only in Chur for one day , but if we had known what a beautiful Alpine city Chur was, we would have stayed an extra day.

We liked a lot the restaurant area, the breakfast, the spacious room and the very comfortable beds. We also appreciated the navette service to the nearest lift, the hotels location and the pet friendly attitude. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served in a beautiful restaurant with big windows with stunning views. The selection was great with good quality local products. The room had crisp sheets and comfy beds. The receptionist was friendly, helpful and welcoming. The Arosa card included in the price was a pleasant surprise.

Loved the accommodation here!! We had the one bedroom deluxe and it came with a nice bathroom with sauna, two balconies with lovely views, kitchenette, fireplace with complimentary wood. The place was clean, cozy and nicely decorated. Everything was perfect, but the only negatives were that we arrived about 1.5 hours early and they only let us check in around 3:45pm. We weren’t there when it was busy (early Dec) so most places let us check in early. The front desk closes at 5pm weekdays so make sure you get what you need from them before then! The people in the sports shop nearby were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend friends to stay here and I would love to stay here again!

We stayed during off season between ski and summer activities. The front desk gentleman was very helpful and accommodating with great suggestions of where to go. The condo had one very spacious private bedroom, comfortable living room, and an excellent kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine. Extremely clean. Patio was large with a view of the mountains. Bathroom was very spacious with an indoor private sauna. Excellent place! Beautiful! The pool was closed but we received a discount to the hot thermal pool within walking distance. The walk to the lake was short and the views were gorgeous.

We've stayed in Priva for 4 nights and really enjoyed this place. It's perfectly located close to the Rothorn cable car (ski to door) with the ski bus stopping right next to the building. The apartments are high standard with typical alpine decor, some with a fireplace. The deluxe ones even have an infrared sauna in the bathroom. This place is great for families: offers spacious apartments with a kitchen, a dishwasher and a washing/drying machine; a swimming pool, kids club and a restaurant. There is a small ski area on premise with magic carpet for kids. Also, there is a ski rental option on site. The restaurant is average with continental breakfast and local cuisine for dinner. Food ranges from simple pizza to more sophisticated dishes like lamb chops and risotto (can recommend). Other dishes are average: entrecote was dry, capuns was not the best we've had but perhaps it's a personal thing. The staff was friendly and attentive. We've visited this place as a bday trip for my hubby and upon request got an apartment on the highest available floor. Overall a great (although not a cheap) option for family trip however dining could be improved.

We have stayed here for a long weekend twice this year now and this will not be the last time. The apartments are of a generous size and are fully equipped to a high standard. The staff are extremely helpful and the Kinderclub gives those exhausted parents a chance for some "Us" time whilst the kids are well cared for and have fun. The restaurant and breakfast, lunch and dinner menus are delicious and again the service is great! Even the wine choice is of a high standard. Its like fine dining but without feeling guilty about having children with you. The kids are well catered for with colouring books and a menu that doesn't just include chicken nuggets and chips! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Priva Apline Lodge and can't wait for the next opportunity. The hotel is conveniently located for ski lifts, sports centre and is just a short walk from the town centre and the lake. There is plenty to do come snow, or sunshine.

We had a glorious stay at PRIVÀ Alpine Lodge. The property met and exceeded all our expectations. We were there for the MTB event and it was right next door which was amazing to be able to walk out your door and be apart of such a great event. The apartment is in a great location, within walking distance to town. It was super clean and very spacious. The sauna in our room was a highlight. We travelled with two young boys so found it great to have a bit of space. The grounds are stunning. The restaurant was lovely and the staff so friendly and warm. We used the parking which was conveniently located downstairs from our apartment. Highly recommend! We will be back!

One of the best hotels in Switzerland! The interior design may not be up to everyone's taste but it remains harmonious. The staff is SUPER friendly, and there is no shortage of employees to look after you. The food is delicious, breakfast is fantastic (despite the Covid measures). They have a beautiful spa with all the water jets, jacuzzi etc, all very clean and spacious. Many restaurants, great bar area. You have to try their own private Tschuggen Express cable car, fun to ride. Hotel highly recommended!

Not sure where to start! 1. Room was perfect, I loved the bathroom set up with shower and separate bathtub. We had a mountain view, so it was just gorgeous to see how weather changes in the mountains. 2. SPA was just perfect! It's in the Vogue Top 100 around the world and it is indeed incredible! I was there several times per day. 3. Private Funicular and day pass for other cable cars in Arosa - perfect option for summer hiking activities. 4. Grand Restaurant - compliments to the chef, as everything was delicious. I still remember blackcurrant tart and the Apricot dessert. 5. Everybody meet you with a smile and really want to help you with any possible question you have during the whole stay. Very nice people work there and it is very rare in the hotel industry!

Everything, stuff were very helpful, kind and offered welcome drink upon arrival , they offer free rides to overlook the town and went to visit places which is reasonable to the price , the room was very clean with a very exceptional view of the imaginary mountains, was very comfortable to sleep and relax , although we had dinner in their restaurant which was very delicious and nice experience takes you to the Victorian century wish if I stayed more💙

Everything! My faith in Swiss hospitality is restored, even at this price! Generous for a Swiss hotel from free valet, parking to goodies in the room and spa. Free car service around town. You are greeted as their most important visitor, luggage and car are whisked away and you are give a tour of the facility before being taken to your room. And what lovely rooms in terms of view, space and decorations. So much storage that you have no excuse for leaving anything out. Free mini bar is replenished and you can ask for tea etc. stupendously comfortable beds. Breakfast is amazing with huge buffet, with better than most selection of fruit ( 10 types of cereal ) and fillings. Bread especially the croissant is perfect . And you can order fluffy eggs or crispy (really) French toast etc. We greatly enjoyed their private railway up to the first plateau. Automatic on demand, a unique experience. Staff are brilliant (only failing to greet you by name perhaps) with terrific and patient advice. On leaving, your car comes back, luggage is put in and you are give plenty of water for the trip. All in style. (And really we have no connection with them!) If you read my other hotels, you would see I am usually quite harsh unlike many sycophantic efforts.

I'm traveling from Japan, and Thusis is very convenient for sightseeing as both the Bernina Express and Glacier Express stop there. it is very difficult (and expensive!) to find accommodations with parking in Chur and St. Moritz. So I think we made a very good choice. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. There is also a restaurant where you can eat on a terrace with a very nice view. I wasn't sure what to expect with this place as it was so new, but I was so pleased when I arrived. Immaculately presented, clean, light and airy. The staff were super welcoming and helpful. The room I had was quiet, and had good curtains and great wifi. THe bed was so comfortable that I didn't want to get out. I had to get out though because I didn't want to miss breakfast, which is also really good, Wifi is fast everywhere in the hotel making it great for work. It's close to amenities like SPAR and other places to eat. It's right in the heart of the town. They even had a power converter that I could use which was great. Would 100% recommend this place.

Very welcoming staff, which provided so much helpful information and answered all our questions with endless patience. Clean rooms - small but sufficient storage space, also in the bathroom. Extremely comfy beds. The hotel location is both very quiet and central. Bus stop directly in front of the door, walking distance to the lake and the Zauberwald. Breakfast offered everything you need, even Latte Macchiato, fresh fruit salad, veggies.... Only thing we missed were power outlets near the bed or a water kettle, but this is really just a comment on things we personally always make good use of. Thanks for everything!!!!

The hotel is very clean and neat, the staff are very attentive and polite. The breakfast includes multiple options and also local products, coffee is also great. There is a bar where you can chill in the evening and also good restaurant choices nearby. For bigger families however note that there are no options for triple rooms or family rooms, so you will need to get separate doubles.

Part of a secret escapes deal so we didn’t choose the hotel. We had a corner room with fantastic views of the mountains. From the train station we got a taxi for 17Ch but then used the local bus number 6 which stops outside the hotel. The hotel can print a card to be used for free local travel and some discounts ( it wasn’t clear what on ) within Chur. Bed was large and comfortable. Room was spacious and warm . Fridge had some free water. Coffee pod machine. Downsides were the solitary hanger in the wardrobe ( I am sure they would have found more if needed) and the shower control was difficult to use to get the right temperature and no kettle. We ate breakfast in the Co op restaurant ( the mall is almost under the hotel) which opens at 9 am and has many choices and breakfast croissant/ drink deals for CH6.95. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

1. First word - The views are FANTASTIC from the corner rooms. The Panoramic windows gives an amazing landscape view of the city and mountains. 2. Spacious and clean rooms and bathrooms. 3. Great supply of toiletries. 4. Just 10 mins bus ride to the main Chur station (bus #6 - every 15 mins - right from the entrance of the hotel). 5. Coop supermarket located in the same building as the hotel. 6. Just 5-6 mins bus ride to a nearby Sri Lankan restaurant (Chutney) - must try if you are into Indian/Lankan food. 7. Ample breakfast options with spacious sitting areas with fantastic views of the mountains.

The room was incredibly comfortable and spotless. The modern decor and well-maintained facilities gave the place a fresh, inviting feel. One of the highlights was the stunning view from the room. The hotel’s location is ideal for travelers with a car. It’s easy to reach and offers convenient parking. The city center is a 10-minute bus ride away. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating.

We stayed for 1 night at Mercure Chur City West on our road trip through Switzerland to Italy. We are a Danish family who enjoys a bit of luxury, good food, and peaceful atmospheres – and this hotel delivered a solid experience overall. Pros: • Located at the foot of the Alps with a stunning view from the room. • Beautiful, modern room – stylish and well maintained. • Easy parking and convenient location for a stopover. Cons: • Breakfast was just okay – and unfortunately quite expensive for what was offered. • Food overall didn’t meet our expectations. We give it 4 stars – mainly for the great room and fantastic view. However, we wouldn’t return, as the food experience simply wasn’t good enough for us.

We stayed for 2 nights towards end of June. It is a modern hotel with rather small so called comfort rooms. We therefore, requested for an upgrade on payment. Irina the manager kindly came with us & showed us the larger spacious room on the top floor which was lovely with good views. The room even had a sauna. The hotel is situated in the Buisness district & bus stop is nearby. Breakfast is satisfactory. There is a restaurant in the same building called City West, which served us a delicious evening meal. Reception staff in the hotel are all polite, friendly & helpful. We would like to thank Irina the manager & Sarah, Saskia & Marina for our pleasant stay.

Great location right a the lake. Everything is decorated with love and the receptionist and housekeeping was really friendly. Parkade is next door and only costs Fr. 6.00 per day (Summer rate, not sure if it is the same in winter time). The breakfast buffet was not big but fresh and had all you need including various breads, eggs, fresh coffee, and fresh fruit salad. Server was attentive and well handling everything.

Very good location with comfortable walk from train station, even with a medical issue I have that restricts my walking ability. Very helpful and cheerful proprietor who checked us in and helped carry bags up one floor to the reception desk. Room with balcony had a great view and enjoyable to use. The complimentary Arosa Pass was great for using the cable car and a very enjoyable experience. Very good breakfast.

Amazing location. Right by the lake, easy to walk from the train station or park. There is car charging in the cover carpark across the road. The staff were nice and helpful with check-in. They didn't mention the Arosa card but they did supply us with them one we asked. This gives you access to the cable cars and other discounts. The bed was very comfortable and beautiful views from the balcony.

The hotel is very well located, a 5 min walk from the main station and area with 2 ski lifts. Also, there is a bus stop at the door that takes you to Hornli, another ski lift, in few minutes. While small, the room was ok: comfortable bed and pillows, closet for things, sockets near the bed, and a balcony. Breakfast is simple, but good variety. The shower powerful, but the area is tiny.

The location of the hotel is excellent for exploring the old historic town which is well worth a visit, the Catholic Church is lovely and the shops are charming and it's a short walk from the railway station. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent, the maitre d'hotel is friendly and professional and he spoke excellent English and explained all the dishes patiently. I booked the single room, very small but everything was provided. The shower was on the small size but with good pressure hot water. A nice touch, the hotel provided an adapter plug in the room. The two bottles of water were very welcome. I didn't use any of the toiletries but there seemed to be supplies in the room. I loved the quaintness of the room, the lift was great. Breakfast was excellent, a nice airy room with a good selection of foods from the buffet, tea available, coffee brought to the table. The receptionist, a blonde lady, was extremely kind and nice and welcoming. The night porter was kind and helpful. I think the personnel at the hotel are really professional.

A lovely hotel in the heart of Chur’s old town. The staff are friendly, and the breakfast was generous and delicious - plenty of options, including meats, cheeses and smoked salmon, with lots of bread choices and local jams. Easy spot to walk around the old town from, which is definitely worth it, and not far from the train station. There was a slightly odd moment where I wanted a coffee and was told I couldn’t sit in the restaurant but to go to the lounge upstairs - this was fine if they needed the table but also there was no one in the lounge so I felt a little forgotten, but eventually a passing staff member took my order by chance. A bit more attention would have been appreciated here, but these things happen. I was upgraded for a small fee by the extremely friendly check in staff, and checked out by a kind woman who took an interest in my travel plans and wanted to chat. It’s an historic hotel, which is beautifully restored - but this does show in the style and fashion of the rooms. Overall, the hotel is very friendly, comfortable and well-located - and the breakfast is great!

Great stay in Chur along the Bernina Express train tour, at the Hotel Stern, an historical and beautiful building in the very heart of the town. My single room was small but clean and cosy, with nice forniture and wooden ceiling. This hotel has a very nice mountain atmosphere and the personnell is professional and smiling. I had dinner at the internal restaurant, that was fully booked and I had no reservation, but they managed to find me a place: very good food and wine! Breakfast was ok, not a huge choice at the buffet but everything good and freshly prepared.

It was old in a good way, really authentic, super friendly and my room whilst compact (a single) was really comfortable and homely and full of nice little touches. I had absolutely everything I needed and the best nights sleep. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the breakfast choice vast. The restaurant in the evening was also a great experience with some really nice and welcoming touches. I’d definitely recommend this place and would love to stay again.

Our recent stay at Posthotel Valbella was . The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and designed for comfort. The bed quality was exceptional, ensuring restful nights after long days on the slopes. A highlight of our stay was the spa facilities, which provided the perfect retreat for relaxation. The wellness area was spotless and truly elevated our experience. Breakfast was another standout feature with a number of choices. Also the dinner restaurants offer nice options and environment to enjoy you meal. The location of the hotel is also excellent, offering easy access to the slopes while there is a bus station and a free sport bus station just a few meters outside the hotel! A special mention must go to Eirini, whose professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made our stay even more memorable. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and her dedication to guest satisfaction was truly remarkable.

Posthotels sound rather modest although very decent. This one, however, is a 4-star establishment. It contains 20 rooms and it is located just across the post bus stop which is absolutely convenient. Unfortunately, Switzerland is hit these days by a crisis in its tourism industry due to its strong Franc and the weak Euro. The latter deters many German tourists from visiting the country which is a priori expensive. Fortunately for us, we were the only guests in the whole hotel! We were spoiled by the very special and friendly staff consisting of Mrs. Parpan, Christoph and Bianca. The latter two are graduates of the world-known Belvoir Hotel School at Zurich so they are well-trained professionals besides being nice people. The Mamma Mia restaurant does well and at dinner it's almost full. They serve very good pizzas and seem to make up for the losses of low occupancy. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with modern bathrooms and all 4-star amenities. We enjoyed a special summer offer and received cards for free ride on public transportation and all mountain lifts. For a 3-nights stay this come up to more than 100 CHF/person. Thus, we enjoyed a 4-star establishment for a convenient price. Would definitely recommend the place which is within walking distance to the Heid See, Lenzerheide and the points of departure for the peaks of Rothorn and Piz Scarlotta.

Our family with young kids moved over to the Post after staying at the Valbella Inn Resort (all our dates were not available at either hotel). I was afraid we'd be disappointed but we weren't. The Post had a super friendly staff and the rooms were very comfortable. No kids club and we had to walk a little further for skiing, but it wasn't bad. We were very happy there! Pros + 2 beds in separate rooms. It was very Swiss with all the wood, and one room was dark with no sunlight. But we were hardly in the room except to sleep. Loved the privacy. + Friendly and helpful staff. They had to explain everything to me multiple times as the ski experience is VERY different for a Californian. They were extremely patient. + Onsite restaurants. Food was better in the Pizza place. + Indoor pool was huge and welcoming! Cons - There's a smoking room in the lobby that was highly occupied. No getting around that smoke. Likely a bigger issue to a Californian where smoking is banned nearly everywhere. - No kitchen in room, but that was ok for us. Also missed having the kids club for our young kids. - Internet! We couldn't get the wifi in our room most of the time. A bit frustrating. Biggest bummer. I'd stay here again if we find ourselves in that part of the world, but Valbella Inn would be my first choice and this my second. Then again, the Post is a lot more affordable with similar value...

The location and hotel itself are great, there is a pool and wellness area if that's your thing. The staff are friendly and very professional which makes a nice change. Our room was super comfy and peaceful. The breakfast is very good, eggs are cooked fresh to order too. There is ample parking but be aware of the E-Auto charging. There is one normal Swiss plug socket and two 5 pin sockets in the wall next to three of the parking spaces, which require a special adapter. Not the "normal" charging points. But that's not a big issue. Overall very happy with our stay.

We stayed 2 nights at the Posthotel in Valbella on our way from France to Denmark. The staff was very service minded and extremely friendly. 5+\5 The restaurant was good. We had a dinner with nice pizzas and a good breakfast. 4/5. The rooms are clean, large and bright. 4/5. The price is higher than what we usually pay for a 1 day stay, but I guess the prices are s bit higher in the Swiss. 4/5 The staff pulls this up to a 5/5 in total :).
