Free breakfast and free airport transportation included in the price. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. Despite our 6th floor room facing the busy highway, we heard no noise! The beds were very comfortable and each queen bed had 4 pillows, which I appreciated. The free breakfast included refried beans, Chilaquiles, scrambled eggs, a local pork and potatoes dish, yogurts, fresh fruit, danishes and rolls, coffee, teas, and juices. Though it was "self service", the breakfast attendant was pleasant and constantly disinfecting all areas while being quick to respond to any requests. The breakfast was not "gourmet", but still tasty and a wonderful way to start a long day of traveling back home. I speak Spanish so I cannot say whether the employees were bilingual. For airport shuttle service, you must request it at Check-in. It was a quick 3 minute ride to El Bajío airport. Lastly, there is an "Italian" restaurant just across the hotel parking lot that closes easily an hour earlier than what the hotel states. That said, the restaurant service was very good and the "Panini" was prepared on a yummy bread, though it was more like a traditional Torta. One Panini is large enough to be shared by two adults. Skip their regular french fries and opt instead for their Steak Fries. Though this isn't the Ritz-Carlton, I would be very happy to return to this hotel in Silao.

We stayed here one night before an early flight. The desk clerks we very friendly and helpful. The hotel was new, modern, and clean, with refrig, coffee maker and microwave in the room. Desk scheduled our shuttle for the next morning, it’s a two minute ride to the terminal. There is an italian restaurant that shares the same parking lot, very convenient. We left before breakfast but they sent us off with a boxed lunch when we departed. Make sure to specify the HI express Suites closest to the airport for your destination, as there is another HI express a few miles away.

Comfortable, average-sized room, well-lit. Modern design. Tiled shower. View of airport next to hotel Friendly and helpful staff, English spoken. The usual Holiday Inn Express breakfast choices. Well-maintained with tiled floors in the hallways and lobby area. Fast elevator. The key card opens the door but it also activates the lights when you insert it into a holder just inside the door. When you leave you then take the card which then turns off any lights. Energy-saving feature.

The hotel is very close to the Silao Airport. The king size suites are pretty comfortable and spacious. I did not like the fact that even if you out the a/c setting all the way down to 18 degrees Celsius, if never got cooler than 21-22 degrees. The a/c has some type of auto off that when you wake up the system is off and you have to reset it. I guess the cleaning personnel are instructed to remove the room keys from the keypad so very evening when one returns, you have to insert it to turn the a/c back on. The rooms are usually hot and stuffy when one returns. It takes several hours to cool down again.. The breakfast is good overall. Our coffee had dead little coffee/flour beetles. We told the food staff and they quickly took the coffee brewer in the kitchen to dump out and clean.

This hotel was recently built and many people don’t know about it yet. It has modern furnishings and the rooms are very nice. My room had a relatively big refrigerator. It also had a coffee maker and microwave. The bathroom had a large shower. Complimentary water was provided each day and the staff was very friendly. A complimentary breakfast was provided which included American favorites (eggs, bacon or sausage, cereal) along with a local selection of food. Fresh fruit, yogurt and juices were included. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay! I was not too sure about it, so I only booked one night! After staying there, we de used to extend our time here. It is very convenient! The rooms are spacious, clean, welcoming, and beds are super comfortable. The hotel has a great restaurant and bar! Andar, our bartender was great! The front office suggested we go try Las tias restaurant for lunch! We did, and we were super satisfied! Strongly recommend this place!

Most modern and close to main attractions hotel we could find. The pool was more like a kiddie pool - shallow and no more than 12 people would be comfortable. The restaurant was out of most menu items when we went for dinner (only went bc it was raining). It makes me think that they don’t keep it stocked bc they aren’t busy. But the staff were great and really helpful! Overall, we’d stay again for the clean, modern rooms and proximity to the downtown area.

The hotel is beautifully designed and is in a quaint and quiet area in the countryside. The bed was large and very comfortable with ample pillows for the two of us. The hotel room was very clean and quiet and a very good size. There is a wonderful spa on site, which you must pay extra for, but we have used it many times before and is well worth it. Breakfast is included and there was a good selection of traditional Mexican food. The coffee was to die for

Beautiful hotel. I have stayed here on three separate trips to Guanajuato and I have never been disappointed. Friendly staff, very clean rooms, and the food is fantastic. Last trip I brought the kids along and they had a great time - even watched a movie in the theater they have for guests. I highly recommend Hotel Hacienda San Cristobal. I have another trip with the family planned in a few months and we'll be staying here again!

This has been one of my favorite places we have gotten! Its so rich in culture and the customer service was amazing from everyone we encountered! It is very clean, and they are at your service for whatever you need. Absolutely recommend and will definitely stay there again next time we visit family.

Recently stayed at the Metria hotel for 7 nights and rented 3 separate rooms. We were in Leon visiting family and for my daughter’s baptism. The hotel was excellent. The service was amazing. The front desk, doormen, housekeepers were the best. We stayed in room 512 and the housekeeper kept our room spotless everyday. The pool is kept very clean and heated. The spa was amazing. Rosie gives the best massages!!! We will definitely be back. The only workers that weren’t very nice were the hostesses at the restaurant they acted quite snobby with my sisters. Everyone else working in the restaurant were very kind. We will definitely be back to stay in the future. Do not hesitate to book this hotel. It is a great place to stay and you will not regret it.

Great value for the price; usually a hotel like this in a big city would be much more expensive for the type of room received. Huge kind suite room with a great view, friendly staff, clean facilities, excellent location, and decent breakfast buffet on site. The only snags on my trip were that I had no towels upon arrival and the room was unbearably hot. The a/c took an entire day to cool the room down to a comfortable level, which felt unreasonable. Would still likely stay here again, however. Great hotel.

Clean, new hotel, nice bed, decent size room, safe walking around. Decent restaurant, there’s sushi beside the building and a vips restaurant across the street. Also big grocery store with ATM inside. Like the whirlpool hot tub beside the pool and the gym. One of the reasons I decided to stay here was the Netflix but didn’t work in the smart tv not even with the app phone. Shower hose didn’t work, asked twice to get it fix.

We stayed at Metria for six days. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect for us. The hotel was extremely clean. The restaurant had a good Choice of options and we enjoyed our meals the few times we ate there. We felt super safe with the security measures they take. We loved that we did not have to worry about car either with the locked gate.

This Hotel is conveniently located on an important Blvd, close to the fair grounds, shopping malls, the most important exit of the City and it has a nice restaurant for breakfast, which is clean and healthy. Perhaps I would like them to change the breakfast menu everyday. For now, it's the same every day. But the attention is great, and friendly. Clean rooms and quiet, with sn impressive view of the city, especially at night. I like to come here everytime I visit Leon. Lots of patking as well. Swimming pool, gym, laundry service to your room. There are 3 elevators and private access with prox cards.

I couldn’t be happier with my stay. The hotel is new. It’s clean, safe and its style is very contemporary. Staffs are professional, enthusiastic and friendly. Breakfast has wide selections of foods. It is surrounded by different shops, restaurants, transportations and museums. It makes you feels like you’re staying in 5 star hotel. But the value is so affordable. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

This is a new property in an excellent location. The rooms were very clean and spacious. We did not like the breakfast, it lacked food choices. The food was very poor quality. The restaurant staff was not attentive to customer needs.

This is an excellent option if you are traveling to Leon. It is a brand new property and the service is excellent. We stayed for 5 nights and we could not be more satisfied with the service. They offered a free complete breakfast not the generic continental breakfast that other places offer. Pool and gym are very nice and complete. The only bummer was that they do not have a license to sell alcohol yet, but per an attendant, they're working on getting it, which is obviously true because they have a big bar next to the restaurants and a big screen for sports, only need the drinks now! Overall this was a wise choice for me and my wife. Location is really good, you just need to uber about 5 minutes to get to downtown, or you could always try the bus, which is a straight shot on the same blvd. and get there in 20 min tops. Very nice stay!

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary traveling across Guanajuato. LQ poliforum hotel was our first stop. We were not disappointed at all. The hotel is brand new. The staff is friendly. The whole place spotless, shiny, and clean. They have internet, breakfast, and NETFLIX!! Already included in their prices. The hotel is close enough to the airport and at the same time close to downtown. I would recommend this place without a doubt.

This is a wonderful hotel in Leon! The staff welcomed us so well and spoke impeccable English too. They were so helpful and could not do enough to make us comfortable. The room was amazing. It was large, very clean and well equipped. The coffee machine was great and the hand made chocolates were a welcome addition too. The bathroom was amazingly spacious as was the walk in shower! There were plenty of towels, bath robes and slippers. I would want to come back again! There breakfast was brilliant and the pool area and gym looked great too.

This hotel offers all the amenities that you would would expect from a hotel of this class. The room was very nice and comfortable. The hotels offers room service and has a full service restaurant and bar. The restaurant staff went out of the way to prepare a special diet restricted plate. I highly recommend this property. The location was a little far from where I needed to be at in Leon, but the location is within walking distance to bars, a mall, Walmart, Sam's, restaurants, and other shopping places.

A Very clean and confortable establishment with spaciuos rooms. Incredibly quiet rooms with modern amenities, including free wifi. Nice open , private pool área. Large dining area within atrium space.. Located two blocks from Plaza Mayor, a large, modern shopping mall and nearby to some nice eateries. One block away is a new casino. A few complaints: although the individual rooms are climate controlled (great working a/c!), the atrium ceiling makes some of the common areas rather warm. Additionally, rooms do not have a minibar with a fridge and there is no store on site for last minute items you may have forgotten to pack. Overall , 4 of 5 stars.

If you're comming to Leon for business, I highly recommend this hotel. Clean, comfortable hotel and a professional staff make you feel welcomed. Hotel has a reliable transportation contract with a local team of new and clean, comfortable cars and SUVs. Highly recommended.

I loved everything, front desk was amazing very helpful and curteous. The food at hotel was exceptional. I enjoyed many varieties such as french toast, fruit platter, FRESH squeezed orange juice. Great Hamburgers, fries, they had everything. Very clean and my room was cleaned daily with fresh clean sheets! Our cleaner was very sweet and everyone at the hotel is very friendly. Everyone says good morning and makes you feel very welcome❤️

It was clean and well maintained. The bathroom was classy, well presented and clean. The shower was well designed and had excellent water pressure. Staff were helpful and friendly. The in-house restaurant for dinner were lovely and staff were attentive. The room service was excellent in they attentiveness.

Otello offers everything you could need for an overnight or long stay in Leon. This is a quiet, comfortable hotel and is most appropriate for business professionals, singles or low key couples. The location was conveniently located close to up-and-coming gastro pubs, and breathtaking cathedrals. It is adjacent to a school that can be noisy during the day but very quiet at night. The friendly staff and great prices will most likely leave you wanting to extend your time in Leon.

We loooooved this hotel, it's brand new. We compared it to a few nice hotels we have stayed in in the US. Super friendly staff, most are learning English which was great for me as my hubby and in-laws are fluent in Spanish as their first language but I'm still learning. There is a free breakfast with your stay, soft robes to wear, clean gym and media room. We will definitely come back next time we come visit my in-laws family. Thank you Soleil Hotel!

Staff is very welcoming and the AC didn't worked on the room and immediately put us in a different room. The breakfast buffet is great and delicious and the rooms are super clean.

The room was spacious with a small kitchenette, small refrigerator and stovetop. We didn't need it but it's good to know. The wifi was good. The breakfast was very good, and substantial. The grounds and open areas are very attractive and spacious. And the hotel is very close to the Leon airport. We will definitely stay here in the future, when we have an early flight.

I chose the Fiesta Inn in Silao mainly because of its proximity to the airport and the shuttle service they advertised. However, a week before my trip, they notified me that the shuttle service was unavailable. I reached out, explaining that this was the reason I selected the hotel, and they kindly offered to arrange a pick-up for me. Unfortunately, when I arrived, there was no one to pick me up, and I ended up taking a cab. To make up for the inconvenience, they offered a complimentary late check-out, which I appreciated. The room itself was very clean and comfortable, but as a light sleeper, I had a few minor issues. There was a buzzing noise, and the thermostat had a bright light that disturbed my sleep. My wife, however, had no problems at all, so it might not be an issue for everyone. On the bright side, the breakfast was absolutely delicious and a highlight of our stay. Overall, it’s a good hotel with friendly service, despite a couple of setbacks.

I stayed here for 2 weeks for work in August. I don't understand the negative reviews here - my room was perfectly clean and was very relaxing. The beds are super comfortable and I slept better here than I often do. The bathroom was clean and modern, no problems with the room at all. I ate most of my meals in the hotel restaurant which is very good, with many tasty options on the buffet and attentive service. During my 2nd week here I got a little sick, and the hotel kindly arranged for a house call by a local doctor who visited me in my room and even brought me medicine. The leather market down the block is great and not to be missed. They have low low prices on all leather products and endless selection. I'm very happy with my new jacket! The leather area is located in front of the bus station, and as a result I would exercise caution walking around there especially at night. Make your Oxxo run before dark if you can. Other than that this hotel is highly recommended. The cultural center back behind the hotel with a museum, library, theather, and various other buildings is a nice green area in the middle of the city and perfect for a walk or to find a shady bench for relaxing.

Just steps away from the bus station and shopping in leather district. Room was clean, quiet, comfortable and offered amenities such as free coffee and water. Indoor swimming pool was nice and warm. Staff were always friendly and helpful. McDonnalds was right next door as well as other food venues. Best nights sleep.

The property seems to be relatively new and VERY clean. Regretfully, it was not close to anything that I could determine for walking. A car would be required (and since I was not driving, it was a little inconveniencing). However, I was primarily there only to sleep. The accomodations were clean and more than adequate. Nice bed, clean bath, good temp control, relatively quiet. There was a full buffet breakfast (but not complimentary)in a fine type dining area. It was more like an upscale hotel. The restuarant also provides 24 hour room service -- so if you come in late or leave early --- no problem! I also appreciate the security I felt at the site. You couldn't use the elevator without a room key.

I liked this hotel as the purpose of my trip was shopping in the "Zona Piel" (Leather Zone) of Leon. Very close to downtown Leon and it has a convenient parking lot. The restaurant is open 24 hours although I didn´t really get to use it (would have love to). Reasonable rate. The room bathroom was a little small and the shower sliding glass door did not close well so all the water leaked outside every time. The cable TV signal was very poor most of the time though that wasn´t entirely the hotel fault. Clean facilities, very friendly and helpful staff. I would most likely return.

It was a great stay. Staff is extremely nice, welcoming and helpful. Clean room and bathroom. Breakfast buffet was not so great, didn’t have many options, but it is good if someone needs to have waffles, pancakes and Coffee. I would certainly come back again.

We chose this Hotel because we needed something close to the airport and being it at the Outlet meant we could do some shopping without the need to drive. Location: The hotel is located at the Shoe Outlet and right next to it is the clothing outlet so really you have tons of options to shop around. As a Plus there is a Starbucks just outside for all of us coffee addicts. Hotel: The Hotel has a very nice modern look, you can see it is brand new and the price is amazing. It is really a business hotel so not much to do here except have breakfast and go out. Room: This is what really impressed me. I didn't expect it to be so nice considering the price paid. Room looks amazing and they even include a Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee maker, hey its the little things that make a big difference. Would definitely stay here everytime I return to the city

New hotel, clean, quiet room, comfortable beds, nice breakfast. Almost 100 TV channels, but only Fox News or children's cartoons in English. No ice machine, no guest laundry, very limited electrical outlets for a new hotel. Very difficult to find entrance from main street after the mall closes (stop before the mall and find the small street. Very limited gym. Mediocre to poor internet. Safe car parking. Night front desk staff very helpful finding places to visit (we chose Guanajuato).

Clean and new, nicely decorated and furnished. They need to provide a list of tv channels as I had a hard time finding a channel I liked. Service is good. Breakfast, included, could be improved slightly to include cut fruit and yogurt for instance. The location is perfect for shopping at outlets which are walking distance. Also to a main highway which is great if you are driving. Parking is included and is quite handy. I had a problem with a noisy neighbour but it was promptly resolved by the courteous staff. Overall, a lovely and comfortable place to stay.

From the start of our stay till the end, we had the most beautiful experience. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and patient. At the front desk they make sure they have someone who knows how to speak English too, which was very helpful when I was having a hard time communicating in Spanish. There’s someone always there to receive you at any time of the day and night, which made our stay feel safe and secure 24/7. They also offer breakfast in the morning buffet style and every morning they had the best selections. Honestly, it was a 10/10 experience.

I stayed with my two kids and I am glad I chose this hotel. Everything was very clean, the room was bigger than expected. I found out the next morning that the room had a balcony which we loved. I think my kids were the only ones in the hotel during our stay, which was a bit different for me. But, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back.

Excellent front desk staff, flawless check-in. Room was larger than I anticipated and overlooked the fairgrounds but yet was quiet. Comfortable but not hard mattress. Good quality bedding and towels. Excellent air conditioning. Good work desk, high-quality office desk chair and more than ample outlets around the room. Flawless internet and cable tv. Comfortable reading / sitting chair and ottoman. Over-sized room safe that held laptop, iPad and anything else. Refrigerator, coffee maker. Always immediate hot water and quality toiletries. Smoke detectors, fire sprinkler system, Hair dryer, ironing board and iron. Separate closet. More than adequate dresser. Breakfast was good. I thought the scrambled eggs had an off-putting smell so I avoided the after the first day. The remainder of the buffet was good. Restaurant waitstaff was excellent. A comfortable, excellent hotel in which to book a room.

As a business traveler, this was my third stay at this hotel. Employees are always friendly and very helpful, they always provide excellent customer service. Rooms are clean, breakfast is fresh and plentiful, WiFi is fast and reliable. The staff always makes you feel welcome by being caring and efficient and always offering help. They do an excellent job and care about what they do. I feel at home every time I stay at this hotel. The employees of this location are some of Hilton's greatest assets. I am looking forward to my next stay.

I found my room to be clean, large and very quiet, just the right combination for a good night sleep. Breakfast was included and it was well-stocked with juice (green and orange), plenty of fruit (truly large trays), yogurt, cereal, chilaquiles, beans, etc., and dinners were quite satisfactory too (I tried arrachera, guacamole, chicken soup, salmon, house wine)..........but the best part was the outstanding service-oriented attitude of Susy and Sophie in the lobby, Claudia and Sophie (another Sophie) in the bar and Paula and Jorge in the dining area. I found them personable, efficient and willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests were well-taken care of in said areas (lobby, bar, dining).......this must be one of the best kept secrets in Leon........I am sure the rest of the employees in this hotel are also superb individuales, but I can only mention the ones I interacted with........my deep appreciation to those excellent employees..................

We truly enjoyed our stay! The staff is very nice and helpful the room is spacious, beds are comfortable, they have a free breakfast buffet that is good with a variety of thing too choose from. If you are in Leon to shop this hotel is definitely, were you want to stay it is walking distance to all the shops and across the street from the stadium. Will definitely stay here when we return.

We stayed here for a business trip during the SAPICA conference in April. I read many, many reviews as I had never traveled to Mexico before. I will admit I was a little nervous. The ride from the airport was fine - didn't know they offered a free shuttle as the other reviewer stated! That will save us $30 next time! The front desk was a bit slow and lines were long, but probably due to other conference attendees. The breakfast buffet was pretty awesome and I have eaten at so many places it's hard for me to be impressed by food, but I will say for "hotel food" I was impressed by their quality and selection. It was the highlight of the day! Traditional Mexican fare, and some American food tossed in. Rolls, fresh fruit, coffee too. Waiters were attentive - they don't harass you or ignore you like in the states typically - they bring your food, and buzz around the room clearing, bussing and refilling your glass when they see that it's empty. The bellhop was a sweet young student who spoke good English and directed us of where to go when we left the hotel property. He was friendly and helpful! Everything else here was fine - rooms were CLEAN and comfortable and that's pretty darned good when you're in Leon, Guanajuato! We walked everywhere- to the Poliforum, leather market, park, supermarket, McDonalds (okay we broke down one time during our 5 day stay for a Big Mac!) ;-) All in all good value and good experience!

It was fine. Not much to complain about, but somebody else was paying for it so it's hard for me to be critical. My room had a sliding glass door facing the courtyard, which was excellent. The buffet breakfast was pretty outstanding for a steam table set up. The more interesting stew/mole kind of dishes were based on large chunks of meat, including one that was pork in morita/crema salsa, which was excellent. So not a lot there for non meat eaters but there was decent fresh fruit and some gringo style breakfast food as well. The neighborhood to the north of the hotel is not outstanding, unless about 1,000 shoe stores in 10 square blocks is your thing. It's close to the bus station, which was handy for taking a little day trip over to Guanjuato. The street behind the hotel has been recently renovated with a central bike/walking path, and if one gets on that in the direction of the church spires, one will arrive in the centro historico in a little while. I was there to play a couple of concerts in the Teatro Bicentenario, which is just a pleasant 10 minute walk away, so for this purpose the hotel is situated ideally.

Hotel stay was pretty basic but had good amenities and everything that we needed. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The employees were very friendly and welcoming. I liked the fact that the hotel had a secure garage for the vehicles. We felt very safe and we would gladly stay again when in Leon.

We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn in Leon. The staff was always attentive, friendly and pleased to serve. We could not have asked for more. Sometime has passed since our return so I may not remember all names but here are a few - Adrian, Oscar, Mariol and many others who are naturally good at hospitality. Given our limited spanish and their level of English, we found communication to be no problem at all. The breafast choice was superb and a nice way to start the day. Thanks to all of you at Holiday Inn who went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. The city of Leon has very interesting aspects, we enjoyed our trip to the Piel (Leather) market which is a must do if you visit the city and also our visit to Universad De La Salle. The trip to Guanajuato is like a passage back in time from the Momias Museum to the Kiss Alley to our trip up the mountain at the foot of De Cristo Rey statue, we were delighted. It was wonderful to see how modern and ancient architectural styles seamlessly co-exist. Not too many international tourists in this part of the country like Playa del Carmen or Cancun, so do not expect man on the street to be familiar with the English language. Despite this, we did not have too much of a problem communicating because of the helpful nature of the residents. Also public transportation between cities is excellent and easy to navigate.

I had a nice 3 day stay here, after a 20 minute ride from the airport. Airports small but efficient, no problems arriving or leaving. Room was ok, a view of the city from my 5th floor room, bit aged in the romm, but a magnificent satelite system w/over 400 channels. Comfortable bed and pillows and the BR had all necessary ammenities, hot water wwhen needed, with excellent maid service. The elevator was a bit slow. Free business center on the 2nd floor, but 2 of the 4 pc's didn't work & no printer. Inside pool, I didn't use, but others did , I oberved, throughout the day. I ate breakfast 2x in the restaurant, $160 pesos, quite good, all-inclusive. Walked one day, 10 mins away, to the leather center, go north, for incredible, cheaply priced, high quality goods. The ONE thing that was BAD, was the front desk; no care or concern about anything.Did their jobs ok, but not as much as a smile, except for Luisa, who was excellent, so , if I had to go to the desk, made sure she was there. Management needs to train these folks on customer relations.
