Great facilities and fun things to do for the kids including pool, jacuzzi, arcade and games rooms, cinema and outdoor rainbow slide! Nice buffet breakfast with sensational view.

The additional facilities at the hotel we could use, such as the pool, jacuzzi, sauna dn gym. We also Loved the kids amusement arcade, it kept two 58 year olds very happy for 15 minutes! The service with a smile was excellent and everything was explained very well. The meal in the evening was delicious, we all had starters and mains plus wine and prosecco and enjoyed it all.

One night in Blue Mountains- family 4 adults with 3 kids. Upon arrival i regretfully remembered a comment in a previous review " drop your stuff at the door, before attempting to find a park " Should have remembered as it is good advice. A Monday night stay, two rooms 228 and 229 - opposite each other. Rooms clean, comfortable and warm on a freezing evening, however, room were tired and showing their age. The kids 2, 6, 12 made use of the heated indoor pool which was fabulous. Adults later retired to the lounge area to sit in front of fire and relax. One of the children accidently knocked a glass off the table - young guy behind the bar - whose name I unfortunately didn't get - immediately sprang into action without being asked and cleaned up the pieces with help from parents. Later we had made reservation at Embers restaurant - seated in front of beautiful/warm open fire. Staff at restaurant were friendly and helpful , (when you were able to get their attention) - on occasions - standing around talking amongst themselves. e.g. when placing meal order we ordered two bottles of accompanying wine. Eventually we had to ask where the wine was. ( obviously a training issue) However, the meal - a steak and delicious jewfish (3) with desserts was excellent. Summary: - all staff encountered were generally friendly and helpful. Warm, clean and comfortable rooms - a very pleasant one - night stay.

The Jenolan Suite was luxurious and beautifully situated with a view over the bushes outside. It was quiet, comfortable and gave us room to work and rest between adventures around the Blue Mountains. It was one of those once in a lifetime stays where we wanted to experience something beautiful and upmarket without the pretentiousness - and this property fit the bill exactly. Staff are extremely helpful, professional and non-intrusive. The perfect mix. The buffet breakfast was extensive. And even though the restaurant was very busy due to an on-site conference, the food was plentiful and we didn't have to wait for anything. The access to the billliards room was easy via reception and provided a really nice relaxation for us after using the gym, which although well-equipped had quite a few items missing, such as attachments for pulley exercises. Otherwise it was excellent.

My wife and I had the pleasure of spending 2 days at this resort for the first time. Having read the mixed reviews we had mixed expectations. Our expectations were exceeded beyond measure. We had a wonderful time experiencing both the natural setting of the hotel, and the hotel itself. Yes, the resort is large and can get busy. Yes the hotel is not the Ritz in Paris and thank goodness for that. What it does have is old world charm, an ambience that reminds you of a time when life was easy and simple, and a natural setting that soothes the spirit. There are many natural trails to explore and enjoy the beautiful mountain views. The rooms are large and clean. The breakfast food is plentiful and of good quality. The breakfast room enjoys a magical view of the valley and distant mountain range. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. We mention 2 members of staff who looked after us in the restaurant like we were old friends. Thank you Dashiell and Diana. We looking forward to join you again. In brief, if you're looking for a modern city hotel this place is not designed for you, but if you want to relax in a natural setting away from the hustle and bustle, and if you want to rejuvenate both your body and your spirit, this is definitely the place to visit. Rooms are clean and spacious. We had a pool view room with a nice little balcony onto the pool. Also had the 2 bedroom family room which has a small dining area. Plenty of space. The resort is clean but not conveniently located to the main Leura shops. Ample parking space. The staff are friendly. The breakfast is very average -just toast and cereal for $25. The Fairmont has a full buffet breakfast for $35 which is much better value. Kids loved the table tennis room and the cubby house in the garden. I would stay here again though because the price is very good and rooms are spacious.

Great location, quiet, staff were friendly and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Only negative comment is that there was no view from the ‘garden view’ room balcony as the trees were so high.

Older motel style property that has been renovated quite well. There are some wear and tear issues like paint patching and the air conditioner not working. Stayed in the pet friendly room with a back garden that was really GREAT! Continental breaky was very basic. Worth a note is that there is only one coffee machine that had to be constantly topped up and was so slow in the bean to cup process that there was alway a long wait to get a half decent coffee. An additional coffee machine is highly needed and recommended . For a "resort" was surprised that there is no onsite bar or restaurant. Overall a nice stay and with a pet it really is a great spot due to the large grass area in the courtyard rooms.

We stayed here 2 nights while doing the Grand Cliff Top Walk. It was excellent, with spacious rooms, comfortable bed, clean and quiet. Breakfast was very good, too, with all we needed to fuel us for our days’ walks. The staff there and in reception were lovely and very friendly and welcoming. 5 minute drive into Leura town centre. Would definitely stay here again.

Rooms are super spacious and our bathroom/shower was also very roomy. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was super delicious and had a great variety of things. Different breads, croissants, pastries, pancakes, mueslis, cornflakes, yoghurts, spreads, cold cuts, cheese, fruits, coffee, teas, juices,... Staff was friendly and helpful. Would book again. Beautifully clean common areas, underfloor heating in the bathroom,tea coffee and fridge in our room,with a pretty terrace..looking onto bamboo screening Queen bed very comfortable Substantial continental breakfast with delicious bakery breads, cereal, yoghurt, juice, Nespresso coffee and tea. Very peaceful surroundings, we thought it would be wonderful for sporting, school and Community groups, due to the large open spaces and sporting field .

The room is very clean. The sheets are immaculate and divine, it smells so fresh (it doesn't smell like crappy fabric softener that most hotels/accommodation uses). The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom sparkling. The team really put in a concerted effort to maintain the cleanliness of the rooms and the facilities. Lee is an exceptionally hospitable and helpful manager. This has got to be the cleanest and most comfortable room I've ever stayed in, in the Blue Mountains.

This is a lovely retreat but close enough to so many places. The rooms were very very clean, the beds comfy and the bathroom was everything we wanted. We slept soundly and started each day nice and fresh. The aircon worked well and we loved our little terrace. The grounds are sparse but this meant the whole area was very peaceful. I did walk around the neighbourhood which at springtime was full of beautiful flowers.

Loved our stay at Sinofield Edu-Retreat. From check in to check out was easy. Room was beautiful, so clean and comfortable. The bathroom is clean and spacious. Heating in bedroom and bathroom. Super close to everything. Highly reccommend. We will definitely be back.

Very quiet place, spacious and clean room, comfortable beds, excellent service, 5 minutes drive to Wentworth Falls, and 8 minutes drive to Katoomba.

Hotel location is excellent, receptionist was very friendly, apartment was spacious and very very clean. Looks like it has just been renovated. I would have given it a 5 stars if the shower screen over the bath tubs is a bit wider so that the water not splash out to the floor. Anyway I would stay again next time.

Excellent customer service - staff very friendly and helpful in every way. Room was clean, quiet and absolutely massive given the price paid. Location is brilliant. Stone's throw from station, dining options, village shops and Woolworths. Will stay again.

Two night stay. We were arriving late and was given instructions over the phone for keys and access to our room. Room is spacious, clean and quiet. Within walking distance to train station, cafes, shops and Blue Mountains lookouts.

I absolutely loved my stay at Burradoo Studio! From the moment I arrived and was warmly welcomed by the host, Lynne. I entered the room and was met with candles and soft music. The room was immaculate and well appointed with everything you could possibly need. It was like an Easter egg hunt, in every nook, cranny and drawer there was another hidden “extra”. I went looking for the kettle and was amazed when I opened, what I thought was the back door, to a kitchenette that led onto a rear patio that overlooked a beautiful private garden. There was wine, bathrobes, marshmallows for a hot chocolate +much more … it was amazing!!! I was travelling solo, but this would have been the most perfect couples retreat. The accommodation is a lovely walk into the village of Leura and a short drive to Katoomba. The hosts Lynne and Tao were so friendly, advising me on attractions to visit or restaurants to dine, even offering to drive me to dinner! I’d highly recommend booking a room at Burradoo Studio, and can’t thank Lynne and Tao enough for their hospitality.

Beautifully designed and laid out accommodation in relatively small space …. bedroom, lounge, hallway, toilet, bathroom, kitchen / eating area, patio , garden …. with a direct view from one end to the other ! Every room was tastefully furnished and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Loads of info on local restaurants, walks etc Home made cakes/shortbread and a good handful of chocolates … and a decanter of port if you fancied a drop. Host Lynne was very helpful and friendly .. pointed us in the direction of a local lookout onto Blue Mountains that wasn’t listed in the tourist guides… had the view to ourselves… magical ! Only 10 mins walk from Leura shops and restaurants All in all , an 11/10 rating !

Clean and comfortable accommodation. Friendly hosts who were very welcoming and helpful. The place feels like an oasis retreat. The kitchenette was well stocked and we were treated to some homemade treats!

The property is in a great location, very close to Leura. It was very cosy and welcoming and Lynne was a very friendly and helpful host. There were so many extra thoughtful touches throughout making it a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Awesome location. At first I thought it was a wee way out of town - but its a very short walk across the road to the Leura Village. The House itself is huge and we were on the third floor - with narrow stair access only. The stairs were worth the climb as we had great views from our balcony. The birdlife is amazing - and very noisey but we loved it. WiFi on the top floor is touch and go. They really need a WiFi extender to give slightly better coverage to the top floor, but I was on holiday so it didnt matter. The bed was fairly ancient and needs a new mattress or at least a memory foam topper - I would only give it a 5 out of ten for comfort. (please fix this Bronwyn- it will make a big difference to your reviews). There were UHT capsules and basic tea/coffee facilities, so I'd suggest taking your own milk if you use milk. There was a small fridge in the room - The UHT milk is dubious and lumpy. The communal area is great downstairs - and is work in progress to restart the kitchen/bar. It would've been great to have tea/coffee/water available there instead of walking back up 3 flights stairs for a drink. Maybe next time. Oh and on arrival, if reception is unattended the outside door is usually locked so you have to ring reception - which is a problem if you are from overseas and havent got mobile roaming. A doorbell would be great or a whatsapp number to contact via wifi. Yes I would stay there again. Great value for money.

I loved my little getaway at Leura House. I was in the executive room right at the top. It was so quiet! The view was gorgeous sitting on the balcony, especially in the early evening and sunrise and there were lots of birds to watch. It was so close the excellent Leura shopping strip which was great. Rukshan was friendly and helpful and suggested places to eat and the stunning nearby lookout and the best time to visit. The room was clean and comfortable and the wifi was perfect. There were stairs which didn't bother me, I found it all really charming and love how Rukshan is preserving the heritage of the building. Ruskshan was happy to provide milk, wine glasses or anything else I'd needed. There was a lovely lounge area that people were enjoying and plenty of chairs to lounge in in the garden, plus a daybed. Hoping to come back when I next need a recharge.

Location was absolutely brilliant. It’s probably the best located hotel in Leura. Minutes to the high street. Minutes to the train station. No parking problems. A lovely old pub, the Hotel Alexandra a 4 minute walk. A 6 minute drive to Katoomba. Leura House is an absolute treasure trove of history of the Leura area. We learnt more this trip than we’ve ever learnt before. The owner/ manager gives you a guided tour of the house and is frightfully well informed of the houses history. And gave us wonderful tips on where to visit. Despite being a historic house our stay was very comfortable. The mattress in our room was super. And we had a wonderful sleep. The balcony in our room looked out over the garden with a very refreshing view. The lack of a restaurant in the hotel was no problem as it was only a few minutes walk to the Polar Bear restaurant in Leura High street where we ate a delicious gourmet pizza. And Leura Cafe where we had breakfast. The lounge downstairs has been extensively renovated and sported a comfortable area. We had brought a bottle of wine( bought inSydney) but we were horrified to discover it tasted awful.

A wonderful stay at Leura House! We had a truly lovely experience staying at Leura House. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the young man at reception, who was incredibly kind and helpful. He gave us a full tour of the house, helped us with our luggage to the room, and even provided an extra heater in case we felt cold during the night. He took great care of everything, even lighting the fireplace in the cozy lounge area where we spent a couple of relaxing hours in the evening, enjoying a good bottle of wine and playing with our child. The house itself is a beautiful, well-maintained home dating back to the 1880s. It was spotless, charming, and very welcoming. The garden and outdoor areas were also clean, tidy, and full of character. We had a peaceful night’s sleep in a very comfortable room and left the next morning with such a positive impression. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return in the future. Highly recommended!

on the way to the Blue Mountains, we found this very conveniently located Guest house- close to a gorgeous small garden city Leura full of coffee shops and nice restaurants, Tranquil House- gorgeous view from our bedroom to a lush green peaceful garden zen. -incredible shower and super soft towels:) great internet connection, clean and fresh, very friendly staff, highly recommended.
