We stayed 2 nights with my fiance in this beautiful hotel. We were welcomed very friendly, we had a great, very clean room with a beautiful sea view. The spa area was great. There was really everything: different saunas, a indoor pool and a great little jacuzzi, little snacks, a tropical shower. Both the breakfast and dinner in the restaurant "Le Cupole" were very tasty. There is simply nothing to complain about. I really recommend this hotel to everyone. A little paradise on the Portofino Coast! Thank you very much.

Couldn't be happier with my one night stay. Staff almost TOO attentive as they couldn't do enough for me, it was really nice as they also remembered me and my room number when going to breakfast or into the spa. Those little details make a stay that bit nicer. Room was very nice. Great views across the bay, welcome chocolate treats and complimentary mini bar (soft drinks only). The spa is amazing. A maze almost of different rooms and 'attractions'. More than just a sauna, steam room and pool. The pool has music and some incredible paradisical drone footage on a projector. Lovely warm pool with submerged Jacuzzi beds at the end. The self service tea room was great too with loads on offer with nuts as snacks and seats to relax. Breakfast buffet was good as far as buffets go. View from the breakfast room was lovely anyway but can imagine it's incredible in better weather. Wasn't able to use the outdoor pool as it was sadly raining for most of my stay.

Amazing stay, we’ll definitely be back! The staff at the Bristol Grand Hotel were absolutely amazing, super friendly, helpful, and welcoming from the first moment. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and had an incredible view that we couldn’t get enough of. Breakfast was great, lots of options, everything fresh and tasty. Everyone we met was kind and made us feel right at home. We had a fantastic time and would love to come back again. Highly recommend!

Lovely common areas, classic and elegant feel, wonderful vibe, attentive and friendly staff, amazing view, somewhat easy walk into town, easy parking, top notch spa facilities. Room balcony had a panoramic view of town and the ocean. Wonderful breakfast offering with an amazing sea view. Such a nice touch to offer dog beds, food and water bowls and food treats. They felt like pampered pooches. The welcome drinks, Prosecco and sweet treats and complementary mini bar along with a hand written note made us feel very welcomed.

We had a fabulous stay at Sublimis. Exceptional staff , great breakfast and relaxing sun lounge area with jacuzzi. Well appointed room with lovely view - just a few steps away from the beach. Please note that there is no pool despite it being listed as an amenity.

The views were stunning from our balcony room. The location cannot be beat. The room was comfortable and spacious with a walk in closet. We stayed in room 303 and had a jacuzzi on the balcony. Close proximity to great restaurants, train station and this hotel has direct beach and promenade access. The staff were simply amazing and went out of their way to make us comfortable. I highly recommend a cocktail by mixologist Veronica, she made amazing cocktails for us. Cannot wait to comeback!

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with items like assisting with parking our rental car (which is not easy at this location) and somehow getting us a reservation at a restaurant that was completely booked. The hotel itself was beautiful and new with unbelievable views of the Mediterranean which you see through a huge glass wall as soon as you enter the hotel (and I think every room is facing the water with the same view but would check). The hotel is located right above the Camogli boardwalk (more of a street along the water) that have dozens of restaurants, bars and shops as well as access to the several beaches. Those going to the beaches should be aware that these are pebble beaches instead of sand beaches. The pebbles are smooth and easy to walk on but different than a typical beach. Breakfast was also very very good and had a variety of filling options as opposed to the typical Italian breakfast consisting of just coffee.

I fell in love with Camogli! Our stay at Sublimis was absolutely amazing! The staff were friendly and so helpful but what made this place really stand out for us was the room and the location. We had a room with a balcony and large sliding door that gave us an amazing view of the ocean. We watched the sunset and also got a great view of the moonlight reflecting off the ocean at night. Our room was also located near the stairway that gave direct access to the promenade, restaurants and beach! They also had Molton Brown toiletries which smelled so good and the breakfast was delicious!

Breakfast was excellent. We ate dinner there one night which was also very good. Nice location in Camogli for accessing the town/beach/restaurants. Beautiful view overlooking the water. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very clean and comfortable. They held our luggage and provided shower and changing area to use after checking out if you stay in town to go to the beach, etc.

We love that there was no TV in the room. This was a great digital detox for us. Room was so cosy so we spent time talking, reading, having jacuzzi bath, walking through this amazingly beautiful village, drinking local wine on the terrace. We love every minutes of our stay at Talking Stones. We had been provided with two videos how to get the property by car and by foot, which was very helpful. Homemade breakfast was so tasty🍳🥗🥣🥰 we also got recommendations regarding local restaurants and OMG we tried the best tiramisu in our life at Casa Bottega. We would definitely come back!

Honestly I can’t understand any bad review. People saying “difficult to access” need to stop eating McDonalds and lay on their couch, check the village before you are visiting, it’s a little medieval village IN THE MOUNTAIN, don’t expect large streets! The pavement is made of stones, obviously. Parking is 300 meters from the hotel, easy to find, we always had a place after 5 minute wait only, the hotel is 1,5 minutes from the river and the main street, going slightly up on the stairs… simple as that. Amazing tastefully decorated room in stones with faux fireplace. Wonderful terrace with the view of the castle. Check the description of every room you are booking in advance : “suite with a spa” means there is a private SPA BATH in your bathroom and it’s more expensive, “suite” means there is no SPA! We booked a wonderful bedroom with a private spa bath / jacuzzi inside. Large comfortable bed with good linen. Tea, water, coffee for free. Little fridge (not very cold so don’t buy any fresh food). Dark curtains letting no light in if you want to sleep late. Calm and peace, no sounds at all. Wonderful smiling host. Good breakfast (served inside in March, I guess the terrace is only in the summer).

Talking Stones B&B is gorgeous. The rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished, the bathrooms are very modern and clean, the breakfast is delicious and the view from the terrace is stunning! The staff were very kind and helpful. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return!

We highly recommend this bed and breakfast. The large room is really cozy and clean and has stunning views of the castle. The bed and pillows were good, slept very well. We received a warm welcome from Monika and her son. Breakfast with plenty of choice (croissants, bread, ham and cheese, eggs, yoghurt, fresh fruit etc.)

We had an amazing stay here, the room was absolutely beautiful and our hostess was really nice and friendly! Breakfast was really good and served on the rooftop terrace with a stunning view of the village. Everything was perfect and we would definitely recommend staying here!

This hotel is absolutely stunning, a beautiful art deco building with tasteful furnishings. Our room was so spacious with a stunning sea view and two balconies, exceptionally clean with a lovely turn down service each evening. The hotel is very close to a beautiful safe beach where swimming in the clear sea is an absolute must, the hotel has vouchers for sun beds but to be honest if you don’t need the changing room it’s cheaper to pay directly, you get a small discount if you say you are a guest at the Royal. The hotel staff are incredibly helpful especially the people that look after the pool area where clean towels are provided daily. The salt water pool is a beauty with stunning views and extremely comfortable sun beds. The free use of the tennis courts was fun albeit we got bitten a lot in that area so spray before you play! The only downside are the prices of the drinks, they are ridiculously expensive, €10 for a small coke and €15 for a glass of wine. Much better off leaving the hotel for food and drink, we found some amazing restaurants in the area, our favourite was La Canonica which we visited twice. We also caught the train to Monaco for the day, really reliable and reasonably priced rail network throughout Italy. Overall a beautiful holiday in a beautiful hotel.

Beautiful luxury hotel, super attentive staff and a amazing views of the sea. Perfect traditional Italian luxury. Beautiful pool complex and an excellent breakfast buffet. There is a long converted railway track that runs for 30km passing in front of the hotel, a perfect running or cycling track - bike hire place opposite the hotel. Sanremo is a lovely town perfect for a weekend.

Nice historical hotel with modern renovation. Friendly service, great pool (seems with sea water), pet friendly (we traveling with Labrador). Breakfast is good, coffee very testy; you can prepare any type of fresh juices. Gym is not for someone who want get heavy training session, but for the holiday it's not critical. You can get covered parking for 17 Euro or uncovered for free. Nice garden around the hotel with the sea view.

Everything! This is our 2nd stay and we love staying at Royal Hotel Sanremo. The rooms are exceptionally clean, and comfortable. The hotels location to restaurants, the casino and town are a quick 5 min walk. The pool is amazing and staff is friendly. The breakfast has many options. We also enjoyed the spa each day which is a great relaxing ending to the day.

Excellent location, breakfast was amazing. The rooms huge and a real step back in time with marble bathrooms and original decor. Great secure valet parking. Exceptional staff discreet but attentive, we had dinner on the terrace food and wine was amazing.

\the staff were super friendly and very helpful whenever we needed something. The rooms were spotless, and the pool area was just 10/10. clean, calm and everything you may want. Also, a 1-minute walk from a beautiful beach with beds and food available. The hotel also had a restaurant (on the pricier side) where the food was incredible, and the staff there were also just so lovely. There is also a pizza restaurant right next to the hotel, which was really good too.

Wonderful hotel, great location, private parking, sea view, dog friendly. What a gem we found on our way through Europe! It was just 1 night stay, but we will definitely consider another visit. The hotel is super dog friendly - there was a dog bed and a bowl waiting of us in the room. The room was spacious enough to fit 2 adults, a dog and our luggage and still have planty of space to move around. Small balcony provided us a nice view over the sea on a wonderful sunny morning.

My favourite stay during our Italian road trip. The pool and sun beds feel very luxury and never too busy, the breakfast is great and the staff are amazing.

It’s become our tradition to stay in this hotel during our summer vacation. The rooms are nice and clean. The breakfast area on the hotel’s roof overlooking Sanremo is setting your day. The location is perfect. Close to the sea and very central to everything in the city. Staff are very friendly. Special thanks to Christian who always trying to make his customers happy. We also highly recommend dining at the hotel's restaurant. It is, without a doubt, the best restaurant in Sanremo. Also suggest making a reservation as it is usually full for dinner. We are looking forward to coming again next year.

Situated at the end of the long pedestrian street and close to the famous casino, this is a great place to stay in Sanremo. The royal suite is spacious, luxurious and has lots of windows with views of the casino an$ the pedestrian street in front. The staff were courteous and welcoming. The room was spotless and a great place to escape for a rest after wandering the city. This was a perfect choice for our first time in this wonderful city. We walked from the train station and that took about a half hour and the walk introduced us to the layout of the place. I highly recommend this delightful hotel.

The location is absolutely perfect. Within close walking distance to all major sightseeing points. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. There is a nice bar below the hotel.

This is a great hotel in San Remo, access to lots of restaurants and bars, a short walk to the beach front. The rooms are spacious and comfortable but there are a few things that let it down. The soundproofing inside the hotel is lacking - you can literally hear people shuffling around in their room and the shower going in other rooms. Also the attention to detail from the housekeeping staff was disappointing - not putting toilet paper into a room when there's hardly any left is pretty basic.

Our room was large, and we used the couch as a second pull out bed, which was comfortable. The location is fantastic -- right at the heart of things (and close to the casino). The best part was the amazing buffet breakfast on the upper floor, with stunning views of the city. And you can walk up to the roof deck where there are loungers and a hot tub. We rented bikes (not from the hotel) and road along the boardwalk, to several other little towns - very fun!!

Stunning location! Room was big, clean and well appointed. Staff were attentive and friendly. A good example was they provided extra tea facilities every day after we asked on day one. Pool area and sun loungers were perfect, with bar by the pool also. Happily sat in sun looking at views all day. The two restaurants are also excellent, Terra in particular is the better of the two with authentic Italian food that was excellent. Aria has slightly more formal offering and the views. Overall a wonderful location that I'd 100% recommend

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Riviera, the place is amazing and quiet. The sea view pool and the garden are beautiful and well maintained. The room was large and very clean, tastefully decorated. The staff is very kind, attentive and professional, organizes everything to make your stay magical. The resort fully deserves 5 stars. Thank you!

The hotel was located a short walk from the train station and waterfront. There were lots of restaurants, shops and bars within walking distance. It was also close to the ferry stop. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to answer our questions and offer us support. The room was in a separate building behind the hotel. It was very clean and comfortable. The size was good. There was lots of storage space as well as a seating area. Breakfast is offered at the property and there is a nice outdoor lounge/restaurant which offers dinners. I would stay here again and recommend it further.

My family And I had a wonderful stay for one week at this beautiful boutique hotel. The staff at all Times were excellent and so accommodating and friendly - front desk, housekeeping and f & b. Feliciano the concierge was exceptional and helped arrange a room and extended stay in a busy period when we had a change of plan. Highly reccomend the spa rooms with terrace and the sensational evening aperitivo in the courtyard . Beach towels for the beach clubs and valet parking also excellent features !

We were travelling from Riva de Garda to Nice, Cote d’Azur for our winter stay and were looking for a place to stay overnight between those destinations, when accidentally we noticed this unusual b&b in the mountains and decided to give it a try. What an unexpected and wonderful surprise it was! The friendliness and kindness of the host Giacomo represents the best of Italy and his b&b is a combination of comfort and art. He has passionately put together many antique pieces and art items he has been collecting for years, and taste and craftsmanship there is quite amazing. It’s truly difficult to describe the uniqueness of the place (that’s what pictures are for) but what ads to the quality time for guests are comfort the place presents: very comfortable beds, quality linens, real wood fireplaces, large TV sets, heaters & AC, spacious bathrooms, separate Spa with jacuzzi bath and ceilings with stars, outdoor pool and settings, tent for dining. The scenery and views over the mountains are amazing. Upon arrival Giacomo treated us with freshly squeezed orange juice (from his own trees) which he made for us again in the morning for breakfast. In the evening he treated us with some snacks which included home made cheese and sausage which were very tasty. Breakfast had plenty of choices and was beautifully presented and served by the host, and coffee (actually two kinds) was really good. Hoping to be back in future! Thank you to our amazing host Giacomo!❤️

The location is really nice, you get to enjoy a really beautiful view and it is very close to the seaside. Rooms are very well designed and cosy, everything worked out perfectly during our staying. If you get there for a romantic weekend, don't miss the SPA area, Giacomo and Sergio will set it up for you for an unforgettable experience. We have been lucky to have to opportunity to have dinner with them in one of the tents built up in the garden (Giacomo is also a great chef) and enjoyed a fantastic homemade pesto and Sergio's farinata! The guys are really friendly and you literally feel like home. I would like to thank Giacomo, Sergio, Gigi and the little Noemi for this wonderful experience.

I would personally like to thank Giacomo and Serigo for a fantastic stay. 👏 They both overcame the expectations when it comes to hosting their B&B. The location is breathtaking, and the views were simply amazing. Staff were brilliant, accommodating anything we required without any hesitation, making us feel at home. They would go beyond by making sure we had a pleasurable stay. The breakfast was an unlimited supply of food, absolutely superb. The spa bath was so relaxing and beautifully designed and the bedroom was creatively themed! Me and my partner loved it that much we stayed for 2 nights. It's definitely worth every penny! If we were to ever come back, this is where we would want to stay 💜

The location is perfect! It's across the street from a beautiful park and only 3 minutes from the sea, walking. It's so quiet and peaceful. The woman who is assisting guests, including bringing breakfast each morning, is amazing. She is so kind and helpful! We really felt cared for. The breakfast each morning totally exceeded our expectations. It is delivered directly to the room and is full of fresh fruit, yogurt granola, and fresh bread. So good!

An excellent hotel with a convenient location — in the city center and close to the coast. The room was clean and cozy, with pleasant renovations and stylish design. It had everything necessary: towels, a hairdryer, and a coffee machine. We especially appreciated the large number of power outlets, which made charging devices very convenient. The staff was polite and attentive. A great place for a comfortable stay.

Both rooms were really nice, they had been newly renovated and were perfectly clean. The location is perfect, very central, (the bus to Porto Venere is just 2 mins away). The rooms were really bright and the beds extremely comfortable. Check-in was extremely easy . Perfect address to stay in La Spezia. Would warmly recommend to anyone.

Everything! Great location, easy checkin, really friendly and helpful staff member that attended us. Great space in the room which was very modern with a coffee machine included. Very comfy bed and great at accommodating our medium sized dog and a crib for our baby! Would definitely come back.

we stayed during winter and this has been the first accommodation that has been warm on arrival. Bed was amazing (best night sleep in weeks) shower was perfect pressure and temperature. considering we were in the city it was super quiet! we found parking on the main road that runs along the harbour which was only a short walk (2-3 mins) and cost 50 cents per hour during 8am-8pm. we will definitely be returning here the next time we’re in La Spezia.

Private terrace was great. Breakfast was very good but I missed something savory beside the focaccia. The jacuzzi in the room was awesome and the minibar was really impressive considering that there not many market open.

We had the suite with jacuzzi tub and beautiful terrace- two of them actually. The views were fantastic! The beds were especially comfortable. We visited in August and it was very hot and humid.. but the A/C worked very well. The evening breezes on the terrace were very nice to relax and take in the views after long days of beaches and walking about. The location is close to many restaurants and shops, train and ferry as well.

We loved this room. It was fabulous. The balcony was huge and had the most beautiful view. The room was very clean and had an amazing bathtub and shower. A very romantic setting and perfect for our special getaway. They provided a delicious healthy breakfast that was more than anyone could eat and served on the balcony. The host was very responsive and provided all the details we needed.

Nice newly renovated place. Amazing views of the coast and town of Manarola. High tech lights and features. Very comfortable bed! We spent most of the time on the balcony enjoying some wine and the sunset view. Our guide met us at the train station and walked us to the room. (It is quite the hike uphill, especially with bags). It would be hard to find and navigate otherwise. Then he gave us an overview of the details from locks, lights, minibar, A/C unit etc.He gave us a few tips on dinner and reservations as well. The personal touch was nice. My only complaint is the people in the unit next door were loud the first night. The walls are not very sound proof. But they departed the next morning so the second night was lovely.

The view from the balcony is absolutely amazing. Well worth the walk up the steep hill. The bed is super comfortable and the balcony is the best thing ever. On the downside, the shower is extremely small and very slippery to get out of, given that water sprays all over the entrance. The wifi is very patchy when sitting on the balcony but is good inside the room.

It was a perfect stay! Very friendly staff, delicious breakfast, amazing view from the balcony, jacuzzi in the room! Very good location - 5 mins to the beach. I recommend this hotel to everyone who decides to spend time in Lerici!

Wonderful view from the terrace, very stylish breakfast, loved to spend evenings in jacuzzi. City center with restaurants, shops and other attractions are just few steps down the hill. 5-20 minutes walk and you can find rocky wild beaches. Would love to come to Lerici during kayaking season, should be really fun to kayak in all those rocks.

We stayed for 2 nights in 2 rooms with our 3 teenage children at this lovely boutique hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and check in and check out were very easy. The rooms were spotless, compact and well-appointed with very comfortable beds and tea and coffee in the room. One of our rooms was on the top floor with a beautiful view of Lerici, the marina and the sea and a lovely small terrace from which to enjoy it. Breakfast was very nice with lots of fresh options and a very nice dining room, great coffee and terrific service. We would have loved to enjoy breakfast on the terrace, but it was too cold. We chose Lerici as a base for exploring Cinque Terre and it was perfect. Lerici is charming and quiet, and shops and restaurants are a short walk downhill from the hotel. There was free always parking available, so it was easy to drive 20 minutes to La Spezia and take the train to the Cinque Terre villages from there and get back in the evening.

My wife and I stayed over New Year's, and arrived in a very bad physical condition (influenza). I can honestly say that I have not experienced such a professional hotel management team outside of Japan, or EUR1,500/Night Swiss hotels. The room/sheets/towels/bathroom/etc., perfect, housekeeping, perfect, parking, perfect. I have three stories of management excellence from the Front Desk/General Manager level. I never expected to find such quality experience in Lerici. Sadly, it was New Year's and we were sick, so restaurant for lunch/dinner was closed. I imagine it's perfection. Sure, everybody is "friendly", but they were all "professional", and we needed professional. There is no reason to go to Portofino, Porto Venere, or anyplace else: Doria Park at Lerici is perfect.

This is a beautiful hotel. There are some things they potential customer needs to know.The hotel looks huge but it’s deceptive. There are only 30 rooms available for rent on the bottom two floors of the large building. We booked a room with the patio thinking that this would guarantee us a good view. Much to our surprise, our patio opened onto the outdoor seating area of the casual bar/restaurant.This hardly felt like a private experience when we were on the patio at dinner time. Next-door to us there was someone who booked the room as a single guest but unknown to the hotel her family with four children under 5 were visiting. Needless to say as children do they ran back-and-forth across the area in front of our room. When we complained about this, and the staff graciously moved us to a quieter area, but not until the following day. The new room was also a ground floor patio room with a nice view of the garden and a peekaboo view of the ocean. The restaurant at the hotel had a wonderful breakfast buffet every day and was actually a good place to eat for dinner as well. The staff were all professional and friendly. The caution I would have is to check the location of your patio. On the ground floor half of the patio rooms face the outdoor seating area of the bar!

We had a wonderful stay at Grand Hotel Torre Fara. The location is unbeatable—right on the waterfront and along the scenic seawall promenade, just a short walk to restaurants, shops, and the train station. The hotel itself is in excellent condition and exceptionally clean throughout. The staff were consistently kind, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The front desk team was especially impressive—knowledgeable, responsive, and always ready to help with no wait time. We thoroughly enjoyed dining at the hotel’s restaurant—the seafood and pasta dishes were outstanding. The bar was also a highlight: a great selection of drinks served with complimentary tapas, making it a convenient and relaxing spot to unwind. The pool area was spotless and well-maintained, with a calm and inviting atmosphere. Overall, the hotel had an adequate number of attentive staff, and service was consistently excellent across the board. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable stay by the sea!

This hotel exceeded our expectations, the building architecture is great, facilities are perfect, swimming pool, beach access a perfect 15 minutes walk to the old town. The staff was amazing and very helpfull, Mr Ali showed us around the property! We initially booked two nights but booked three more nights extra, we have booked four more nights as there not that many hotels like this, at the beach with this amazing service in Ligure. Oh and the breakfast simply amazing, staff was perfect, having breakfast overlooking the see towards Portofino.

The place is really nice. The breakfast restaurant is amazing, it's with a sea view. Food is great, croissant with chocolate is the best. Pity there was only 1 piece left and on the 2nd day not even one was left by the time we got there. Good hair dryer. Great location. You are straight at the lungomare that is very long and there are really a lot of restaurants and beautiful view. Hotel has nice, comfy couches and armchairs in lounge zone. Quite expensive cost of 1 night. Young guy, receptionist was very helpful and smiley. Parking at the hotel is good, convenient, spacious.

The hotel is located in a quite place in Chiavari beach frontline but just minutes walk from lots of restaurants and bars on the promenade. Well designed and fresh rooms with all necesseties and comfortable bed and washroom. Breakfast was also great on a panoramic terrace and everything you need. Staff were helpful and friendly, thank you for your professionalism. The hotel is just 40 minutes drive from Portofino and St Margharita Ligurie, so we could easily get there to spend some time and enjoy the chic place. We found this hotel a real value for the money spent!

The location and general amenities of this hotel were fantastic! From here you can walk to the beaches and main center of Diano Marina within minutes, and the pool area and adjoining bar make staying at the hotel stress free even if it can get quite busy with families. We also found all of the staff to be incredible friendly and helpful, particularly the breakfast and pool bar teams 🙂

Excellent service, food is delicious, breakfast was excellent, we enjoyed the pool and spa, and the staff was very welcoming and tending to all our requests, made our long weekend very very pleasant. We recommend it to families and couples !!

The hotel is beautiful, great location, nice breakfast, stuff was welcoming. There is a new free shuttle service between the hotel and the train station that was very helpful. Will definitely recommend.

The Hotel was superb and we were upgraded to a very large suite with a balcony. The main complaint was with the available menus and breakfast. On arriving for breakfast you had a table with a mat and knife and fork per person. No cups, saucers nor condiments were available. On asking for tea with milk it usually arrived after fifteen to twenty minutes- one pot of hot water, one tea bag per person and a jug of milk.How difficult is it to fill a pot with hot water? and cups; saucers and milk could be made available when a table is initially occupied. The Buffet was adequate; but not as good as other five star hotels. The staff did not attend to replenishing dishes when they were depleted. The scrambled egg dish was usually empty and dried out and I watched for twenty minutes one morning until someone summoned a waiter to get it replenished. We did not have lunch in the Restaurants as we could not find a menu anywhere; other than the Restaurant on the Beach which was small; served exquisite food e.g caviar and even more exquisite prices. We had lunch at nearby restaurants on the beach at a fraction of the price. The evening meal, other than having lunch on the Beach at the "de-Luxe" restaurant appeared to be a Pizza Restaurant, in a smart setting, open to the Public to walk-in with no other food options. We did not see alternative menus anywhere. As my wife is Gluten-free this did not suit us and we again eat out every night at Superb local Restaurants. I would return.

What a glorious surprise Alassio and the gorgeous Grand Hotel Alassio Beach & Spa Resort are! I have visited Italy 8 times over the past 30 years and I had never heard of Alassio but visited this gorgeous town after being recommended by a colleague....I am so very glad that I did visit and stayed here recently for 1 night - I wished I had stayed 3 or 4 nights as the hotel is a gem! I had an Ocean-Facing room and the view was fabulous! The hotel has direct beach access and its own beach club....this is a white sand beach and is about the best beach we saw in the region! The rooms are tastefully furnished and the beds were super comfy. We visited the magnificent spa and had a wonderful massage (thank you Davide!) and then participated in a spa/sauna ritual which had around 20 participants - again, very enjoyable and relaxing. The food was superb at the hotel – we enjoyed a sumptuous breakfast & lunch. The staff in the restaurant were so lovely and helpful and it was one of the best buffet breakfasts that I have enjoyed in Italy. Our interaction with all staff was nothing short of outstanding - special mention to Dario, Alex and Andrea for your attention to detail and approach to service....this hotel is in safe hands with a team like you we will return once again!

We loved the view from our room. We loved our terrace. The breakfast buffet was the very best we have encountered on this trip (and we have stayed at high-end hotels). There was a huge selection of delicious foods, beautifully displayed, with attentive service for coffee orders. We enjoyed the “Medical Spa,” The fitness room was well-equipped. Our room was small, but the layout makes good use of the space (with built-in shelves and drawers). There was no electrical outlet near the bed, so we had to live with a long extension cord (cheerfully provided and taped in place by the bellman) in order to have power for a CPAP machine. Go for a terrace room if you can! Our terrace was our outdoor living room.

Amazing staff and unique location in Italy. One of the best hotels by the beach in Italy. Great relaxing experience at the spa, gorgeous views from my Deluxe with terrace; Generous buffet breakfast. All is done to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Thank you Grand Hotel Alassio!

A wonderful, relaxing, rejuvenating, peaceful stay! It is our second visit as we had such a lovely time last year - everything just the same high standard given with the same kindness and generosity of spirit...The Front desk, the sweet Cleaning team, the Bellboys, the Breakfast team, the Bar, the Spa and the Beach team ..wonderful! Alex Cancel is the Head Concierge and it is him that makes the magic happen and brings it all together. As with all the great Concierge's of the top Hotels in the world he works his magic unobtrusively, expertly, quietly and without any fuss. He has one of those very rare qualities of being able to pre-empt what it is you may need or want without you realising it! A beautiful personal note left for us with some delicious Italian Prosecco on arrival, the same stunning Room as last year, the same delicious Cake for my Birthday as last year - he remembers it all! If its 'sold out' tickets for Monaco you covet, he will find a way, a special place for supper in the hills of Alassio - he will know it and arrange it for you... Professional, unassuming and genuinely caring he manages, when he is in the Hotel to just raise the atmosphere to extra special... Everyone seems to genuinely love their job and take pride in it as well as being the sweetest and nicest of people. THIS is what will bring guests back as it certainly has for us!
