Excellent location, clean facilities, there was even a steam bath in the room, large balcony and comfy bed. Wonderful tapas type breakfast, cosy bar to have a drink in the evening.

We had a fantastic room overlooking the river, which was quite large and well-equipped with a kitchenette including fridge, dishwasher, microwave. So very handy if you want to stay for a few days. The room also had its very own steam room, which we tried briefly. I did however prefer the spa area which can be accessed from the hotel area and got locker rooms, towels etc. The breakfast was great with lots of choices. I would probably recommend getting here by car though you can walk e.g. from the car ferry which I reckon took about 10mins. You can also easily walk to the beach and there are a handful of restaurants nearby.

Wow! We couldn’t believe our room. It was wonderful. To begin with the staff at checking were perfect, they were welcoming, accommodating and so helpful. Staying at the Slow Down Hotel is worth the time to take the ferry. Beautiful room, wonderful shower. We came by bicycle and they provided a very secure place for ours. Don’t miss the chance to stay there!

We are delighted with this place in every way. The rooms are clean, cozy and modernly furnished, with attention to every little detail. The cosmetics in the bathroom were of high quality, with a very pleasant smell. Additionally, slippers and bathrobes await guests, which is nice. The hotel itself is located about 300 meters from the beach, next to the park. The hotel has a very good restaurant, as well as a sauna and gym. The service is nice and very helpful. It was important to us that the hotel has its own parking lot, as well as the possibility of booking a pet-friendly room. Our dog received bowls, a treat, and a map with the nearest beaches available for animals for the duration of his stay. As for the breakfasts, they were perfect, made from the highest quality ingredients. They would definitely delight even the most demanding people. We were also surprised by the wine given to us on the day of departure. We will definitely return to this place more than once (especially for a longer stay) and we will recommend it to all our friends. It is ideal not only as a stopover on a journey, but especially to relax here for a few days.

Lovely neutral colours, tea lights everywhere and a really relaxing atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and clearly happy in their work. Great shower and clean towels provided daily. Lovely, quiet location very close to the town and beach.

The restaurant is excellent, the breakfast buffet in particular was exceptional and the three nights at the restaurant were also very good, but beware that the dinner portions are really big. Overall the property is very cozy, with nice landscaping and decor, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The spa is also very nice, but a bit crowded. Very dog-friendly.

Breakfast had a large range of different options, including an omelette station where the chef takes your order and makes it fresh. Dinner was absolutely define, great servings and worth the price you pay for. Room was clean, we had the suite with the balcony and it was great for our morning coffee and afternoon reading in the sun. Hotel was close to the beach, with plenty of parking if you take your own car and the bus stop to the beach is directly in front of the hotel.

Amazing hotel with very comfortable rooms,a nice spa area and the best thing of all -the breakfast is served until 12,30. It is situated in a small village so you have to take the bus/ bike/ or car into town or to go to the beach but the location is wonderful because of the quiet. The staff is very nice and polite and I can only recommend the restaurant

Everything was perfect. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, nicely decorated. Breakfast was a feast, staff welcoming and attentive, pool and saunas pampering. We spent the Christmas Eve at the hotel and were completely delighted by the Christmas gifts and large plate of sweet treats that were kindly brought to our room. We loved the historical context of a period country Manor House. The ambiance and quiet reflectiveness were greatly appreciated. The owners’ attention to detail in all aspects was exceptional including the breakfast which was most enjoyable. As architects we were pleased to experience the North German domestic architecture. Compared to anonymous chain hotels this was a welcome break.

An unexpected but very memorable stay in a historical property in Lübeck. The property was very clean and tastefully decorated. We also appreciated the spaciousness of our room with high ceilings and an abundance of natural light. The hosts were welcoming and it was interesting to learn about the property's history and restoration. Highly recommended over staying in Lübeck city centre, which is only a short drive away. Very keen to return and experience one of the other suites.

An amazing hotel/b&b with a lot of old charm. The building and interior are kept up really great, and the owners took exceptional care of ensuring that the decoration gives the exceptional extra flair. The owners were really forthcoming and always ensuring that the stay was great and ready to give additional information about Lübeck and the surrounding area. Perfect location to walk into central Lübeck from. Really nice hotel with great decor, furniture and facilities. Huge choice available at breakfast. Room was really nice, comfortable and clean. Staff always helpful and friendly.

First, the parking is really good -- separate, covered spots and we did not have to negotiate the narrow ramps we usually find in underground parking. The staff are friendly and professional, and the location is excellent. We were given an upgrade to a larger room, which we really appreciate, it was lovely. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. The always-available coffee set up and comfortable sitting areas are a nice touch.

The staff was super friendly. They have a free Haribo station! The hotel was very quiet and I got an amazing night's sleep. If I could, I would have taken the mattress home with me. So comfy! The hotel is also perfectly situated on a quiet side street between train station and historic city.

If you want to take "Time Out" and have a peaceful quiet break in your holiday, then this is the place to be. A large bedroom with a very large living area. A bathroom with even a bath). A place to sit beside a very large pond with ducks and bush around it. Even a squirrel to watch) The reception staff were very friendly, relaxed, yet professional, it was like becoming one of their family after a couple of days. Breakfast choices were excellent and delicious. The staff here were once again almost like close friends. Definitely a place I would come back to.

Stayed in an apartment here to go to Hansa Park and it didn't disappoint. Two bedrooms, small kitchen and large bathroom. Staff were friendly and breakfast was amazing.

We enjoyed our stay! We liked the modern design of the spacious and quiet rooms with beautiful views from the balcony. Breakfast was tasty with a good choice of different meals. There were many useful things in the rooms, like hair dryer, heated towel rack, kettle and tea bags. The parking facility was very convenient. The hotel is located close to the beach. We are very thankful to the helpful staff who provided us with more information on our stay! We also appreciated the welcome greetings on the TV screens in our rooms!

Absolutely stunning breakfast - you get a buffet style-breakfast with delicious options and can also order for example pancakes or eggs benedict freshly made - one of the best breakfasts :) The 3 person-room was lovely although the 3rd bed was a bit tight - would be perfect to bring kids though. Very complete aesthetic with the flamingoes - sadly we went and it rained a lot. I'm sure it would be absolutely perfect in the summer.

I was really pleasently surprised with their suits. I felt that should have rated the hotel with at least a four star. Good bar, breakfast and restaurant.

The hotel itself was lovely, right on the beach. Clean with a good breakfast. The dinner menu is a bit limited. Rooms were spacious and clean. Catarina the waitress in the restaurant was wonderful.

Eneste minus ved hele opholdet var at der er absolut dårligt wifi, det virkede lidt en gang imellem og mobildækning i området er også dårlig (det kan hotellet så ikke gøre ved) vi måtte lægge vores mobiler ud på altanen for at opnå 3G.

Very comfortable and spacious rooms. All tidy and very clean. The whole staff was really amazing and nice (something remarkable around here). The access to Ostsee Therme was also a very nice feature included in the stay.

It’s an old school hotel, but kept in perfect order. Great breakfast, very helpful and welcoming staff. The sauna complex is the highlight, with lots of sauna types and great steaming sessions.

We were there during the off season and it was perfect. It was a great location within a few meters directly at the beach and promenade. The check in with the staff was very professional and friendly. Each room had a heart shaped chalkboard with our name on it. Since I was bringing my dog with me, they had set up a spot for food and drink. We got lucky with having a balcony which looks out to the beach. The room was really clean and spacious with a nice bathroom. You really couldn't hear your neighbor or outside that much. Very peaceful. The breakfast buffet was delicious and their staff was awesome as well. Check out went smoothly as well.

It is right on the promenade. The breakfast room - where you can get coffee all day - opens onto a small terrace with strand korbs (beach basket-chairs). The room was large and clean and you get a welcome sign with your name on at your door The hotel was a perfect size and the staff were all friendly.

The location was amazing, just across from the beach, you can see the sea from the hotel! Staff were so helpful and friendly, we arrived early in the morning and they were so accommodating, making sure we could have breakfast, getting one of the rooms ready, so we could leave our things there. Just outside old town and picked a room with view over river to the town. Really lovely new hotel with great facilities and its own grassy terrace for a relaxing overlooking the river and views to the old town. Nicely furnished room and spotless. Own parking and great breakfast which, weather permitting, can be enjoyed on a terrace looking over the river to the old town. Lübeck very walkable for sightseeing.

Fantastic location, a minute from the old town and beautiful views across the river and to the old town from the terrace. Rooms very comfortable with window seats and a great view, also clean. And - a big plus for the bathrooms - shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in separate and large containers (personal bugbear is when hotel's give miserly bottles in small quantities clearly not enough for stay!) Also loved the cocktails - and bar staff and the pool. Didn't try the sauna area as no-one except the Germans think being naked in a sauna and steam room is hygenic! Sorry! However, we very much liked the towelling robes & slippers in each room for the pool. Wish there was an electric charger in the car park and top tip! If you park the car in the outside car park it's a maximum of 8 euros a day but if in the underground car park it's 24 euros a day!

The hotel was very central to everything and overall great. We loved the library area to have a quiet drink. The staff were friendly. Perfectly situated for visiting Lübeck, the Radisson Blu Senator Hotel sits on the river Trave and is within walking distance of the charming town. We had a spacious, comfortable room complete with bathrobes and slippers and a view of the river and part of the town. Breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice for the fussiest of eaters (including me). We’d had a very busy weekend prior to arriving, so wanted to chill a little as well as seeing the sights and we were able to do this. Staff are friendly and approachable. The cafe/bar was a lovely touch too.

Very comfortable rooms and a hotel with a lot of clever stylist elements that worked well together without being too “designer”. Brilliant breakfast, safe underground parking and a lovely grass terrace to relax on with a drink. Staff were very attentive and professional.

Staff was kind enough to reach out, via phone, ahead of check-in time slot to make sure we would make it in time, and also had a recommendation ready to go for a sea-food restaurant about 3km away from the hotel, which was also a good/fair value for that evenings dinner. During check-in scheduled breakfast timeslot was chosen, including options for eggs, juice, and tea/coffee. In the morning breakfast was served at reserved tables at the scheduled time. Plenty of food, rolls/buns, ryebread, toppings (butter, cheeses, cuts of meat, jam, nutella), coffee and juice to fill up on.

We got caught up in traffic and didn't make it to the final check-in time (18:00). Luckily the hotel called us, and we were able to check-in via the phone (incl. Covid-19 paperwork). We greatly appreciated that. The room itself was a bit old (70ties technology for the radio and alarm clock), but otherwise clean, spacious and well lit. No problems with the beds either. The bathroom was a bit tight, but otherwise in good working condition and functional. Shower had decent pressure. Internet was free and easy to use, but a bit unreliable. It kept disconnecting and reconnecting constantly. Also the speed was with 1Mbps a bit slow for current standards. Breakfast was very good: Coffee, juice, rolls, bread, jams, cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, yoghurt.

Absolutely fabulous! Claudia and her team were so warm and welcoming! This is a superb place to visit Lubeck and it’s beautiful surroundings, up to the sea! Tranquil, impeccably clean, so comfortable…and a delicious complete breakfast! My only regret? Having to depart! Danke!

Calm and quiet place, friendly owner. Rooms are comfortable. Great breakfast, good for value. We borrowed bikes to the owner, which was very convenient to visit the city of Lübeck nearby, without using our car.

Nice, clean Hotel. Very comfortable beds and good breakfast. We traveled with dog, and this Hotel is exeptional dog friendly. Sentral in the old Town, so you can walk everywhere.

Location. Modern. On site breakfast. Knowledge of the staff regarding the city and restaurants and sights. Large rooms. Modern bathrooms. But the BEST thing is that this hotel has silent closing doors into the room so when people are coming and going, you don’t hear any heavy slamming doors to wake to up.
