I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the night market, museums, and other key attractions, making it very convenient for exploring the area. The staff at the counter are friendly, polite and helpful. They are most willing to provide important information to us. The room is big and the beds are big and comfortable. The room is very clean. We had an enjoyable stay at this hotel.

The property is new and very welcoming. The staff and personnel are impeccable. The room exceeded my expectations; instead of a TV, there is a projector embedded in the ceiling with drywall, and a switch reveals the screen where the smart TV is projected. Very cool. The decor is beautiful, elegant, and modern, with a wood effect that makes the environment very cozy. The room is very quiet and equipped with all the bathroom amenities, including a state-of-the-art hairdryer, comb, slippers, and a welcome toothbrush.

Love the design of the hotel, very clean, very modern and it has so many activities to enjoy with our stay; we also love the scents from the diffuser, making us so calm and fresh! Keep it up! Just that we hope they will be serving breakfast on our next visit there!

We had a great and comfortable stay. Location was perfect. Facilities were very modern. Service was exceptional. My kids love the slide.

Amazing hotel and location for the price! Only a few minutes walk to Jonker Street and another few more minutes to the old town (Dutch Square, St Paul's Hill). Plenty of eating places around (albeit at slightly more expensive prices than non-touristic eateries). Room is spacious, clean, quiet and with air-conditioning and TV. Bathroom is clean and comes with toiletries and hair-dryer. Staff members are friendly and helpful.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. This included moving a small refrigerator into the room on request and early and late check in/check out. There was a good buffet breakfast available at modest cost . The room itself was clean and spacious with comfortable bed.. A/C worked well without excessive noise. Location in close proximity to Old Town is good.

The room was clean. Bedsheets, pillows and toilet especially, was super clean. The hotel interiors were a great place to take pictures. Very old school vibe yet charming. The WiFi was good. Staffs were friendly. Provided me with info & recommendations about the nearby places. Jonker Walk was just right behind the building. Managed to soak in the night market atmosphere. Walking distances to places like The Clock Tower, Hard Rock Cafe, the famous Chendol stall just beside the river and also the ticket booth for the river cruise ride. And if you able to still walk more, you can also visit the replica ship and the marinetime museums. And just around the corner, you can ride the Taming Sari Tower. And maybe take the rickshaw ride back to the hotel.

My 2nd stay with Swiss Heritage. Everything was great, staffs, room and location. It is the Perfect place for a holiday esp the location....back of Hotel alley leads to Jonker Street! There are eateries nearby available from breakfast to a 24hrs Family Mart. Shopping at Jonker and walking distance to many touristic places, shopping, massages, wet market & more. We had the family room with a swivel staircase leading to the other bedroom with shower too - beds were very comfortable and Hotel was clean with friendly staffs....Excellent!

Swiss Heritage provides exceptional stay in Melaka. The hotel is very kept and maintained. Location is excellent, barely 100m from Jonker Street and the surrounding old narrow streets, within walking distance to the popular historical church and red building, and the popular walks along the river. Plenty of eateries around the hotels. Staff are very helpful and courteous. Will definitely come for another stay.

Very comfortable room so big. View only a street but fine for me.. Breakfast no nasi lemak,only light food but still affordable with the price. I like the room so much will repeat again soon.. Just to mention. Make sure once you enter kids room please check in the tent and under the carpet.. Sometimes housekeeping forgt to vacuum and got some cereal. Can ask housekeeping for clean it.

Spacious room & bathroom, wood flooring eventhough its old but well maintained. Friendly & helpful frontdesk staff, Rina. I actually left some cash in the drawer & only realised when reached KL. Spoke to Rina, she quickly checked with housekeeping & yes my cash was in tact. She quickly transferred online to my acct. Tqsm Rina & the trustworthy housekeeper in charged. U both made my stay extra wonderful 😍

Very cosy ambience and super love the jacuzzi in the room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We encountered a flat tyre and they assisted in calling for help.

The staff is friendly and kind. The only thing that is not so nice during my stay is the Jacuzzi in my room was not that clean. That’s all.

I love the jacuzzi.. And the room is very comfortable. Will come again next time

We have booked the room with jacuzzi. It worked. Comes in handy as tge weather is hot. Enjoyed using it. Perhaps could train the front desk to provide information on nearby places.

This hotel has the most simplest concept. Cosy lobby (although it is quite cramped if there are many guests waiting at the lobby area. It is only 3 storey-high (including ground level). No lift access so it is not really advisable for someone who is on wheelchair or for elders. I booked 2 family suite rooms which has two queen size beds. I did not manage to book the one with bathtub as we were only staying for 1 night and we were out almost the entire day. The price is reasonable per night (S$60 per room per night). It is all white. Yes, all. The mattress and pillows are super comfy. Toilet is very clean. The hotel provided towels but not toiletries, which is not a problem for me at all. The family suite that I took has no windows at all; It may get a bit claustrophobic. The other guests staying there could have been a little bit more considerate after 12 midnight as my infant son was disturbed by the noise as other guests returned to their rooms. Location wise, it is about 25 mins drive to Melaka Sentral. And another 5 to 10 mins drive up to Dataran Pahlawan area (excluding the congestion). Just outside the hotel, there are (public) parking lots. Do not worry, it is quite safe to park there as the area is not in very close proximity to the city area. If you are looking for an affordable stay just for the night in Malacca, this hotel is economical and best choice!

Place is nice and quiet.. Room was clean and attachment with a beautiful bathtub 🛁. My son very loved it... Staff where friendly and nice. Overall nice comfortable stay. Planning to return back soon.

Family room of 4 with bathtub: Very nice And clean room. Hipster type of budget hotel and very decent rooms toilet. Water dispenser and towels are available. Bicycle cafe downstairs is very cool as well, Sushi mentai is 3minute walking distance , cheap and good jap eating place for dinner. Breakfast head to Full house dim sum for some nice dim sum.

We booked two queen size bed without the bathtub. Its not spacious but yet its still ok for my toddler to run around the room. Its near the city centre and free parking nearby. Lots of convenient store such as speedmart 99 and walking distance from the coffee shop. Highly recommended.

Is a decent and clean hotel. Totally worth the price. Friendly staff. Have parking space in front of the hotel. Nearby area has local restaurant. Away from bandaraya so is a quiet place. Drawback : not providing kettle and refridge.

The room is very spacious , quiet and clean. The room also comes with a jacuzzi which is very good, relaxing. I also quite like that there is a private parking which is sometimes hard to come by for hotels in Melaka. Overall very pleasant experience.

Having a working kitchen was very helpful.

We was genuinely impressed by how everything came together. The unit had floor to ceiling windows offering sweeping views of the Straits of Malacca, modern furnishings, comfortable beds, reliable air conditioning and clean bathrooms with good water flow, which made mornings easy. The building facilities are excellent. There’s an infinity pool, gymnasium, sauna, BBQ pits, business centre, theatre room, squash court, open deck sky club and 24 hours security, all of which gave us plenty of options for relaxing or staying active. One of the biggest perks is that Silverscape sits directly above Elements Mall, so shops, restaurants, cafés and even groceries are just downstairs, very handy for meals or last minute items.

The staff were amazing all the security were so nice. Felt very safe and secure. The room was spotless and had great amenities. With access to the pool and even had a washing machine in the room. Also connected to an amazing sky bar and 2 beautiful restaurants. Was just outside the main town only around a 15 minute walk to la famosa and St pauls Church.

The apartment was modern, clean and spacious. Loved the large windows and the seaview from the living room. The location is super convenient, with direct access to restaurants, FamilyMart downstairs, and short rides to Mahkota Parade and other attractions. The pool was amazing and the building feels secure with 24/7 security.

The building was quite and secure, with a free parking, a huge pool for the kids and a grocery store working 24/7. The apartment was clean with a nice view. The bathroom had a bathtub and a shower, and the kitchen was fully equipped.

The studio and I am truly impressed. The unit is exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed to provide maximum comfort. All facilities are complete and of high quality, making the stay very convenient and pleasant. I sincerely appreciate the host’s professionalism and warm hospitality."

Facilities such as hot water, Internet, air conditioning all worked well. There is a swimming pool on the 23rd floor with a good view of the city.

Very cozy and quiet 🖤 went to short vacay with my husband and the room is super romantic. Very clean. Will stay here again definitely 👍🏻

Nice room - nothing amazing, comparable to a hotel: sofa, armchairs, dining table, TV, desk and chair, bed, bath, walk in wardrobe area. Minimal. No view in the room. The extra space is nice. Some basic facilities: fridge, kettle, sink, plates, towels.

The breakfast was just superb with good choices of foods. The staff were very helpful and professional. Parking was available. -nice decoration -well furniture -have jacuzzi -comfort bed -provide almost everything inside room -have family mart, cu mart , 7 eleven & pharmacy and other shop lot nearest (walking distance only) -2km from town ( not stuck in traffic jem) -near viral keria gula melaka shop & mc donald ( a few minute by car) - we arrive early around 12 before check in time ( 3pm). I ask them to clean my room first once available. By 1.30 they call me to check in. - no hassle when check in / check out

1) Very easy to locate using Waze/Google maps and it is by the road side 2) Near to 711, CU mart, pharmacy 3) Lots of eatery around area (limited halal eateries, need to travel to town a little but it's very easy to go by car) 4) Staff on duty 24/7 were all very friendly and helpful 5) Room was spacious and clean (it can get noisy with the honking of the cars as it was by the main road. But if you're not bothered about noise like me, you'll be fine) 6) Beds and sofas were huge and comfortable 7) Love love love the upper floor shower as it has a variety of shower settings (wish it was the same for the lower floor toilet)

The environment of the lobby is cosy and smells good. The room is clean with a breezy aircond.. Bed n pillows are comfortable to sleep on. Water dispenser is convenient for us to fill our bottles. Staff r very helpful n friendly. Parking is just infront of the hotel. Ample parking available. Lots of restaurants to choose for our meals. There r few convenience stores nearby Highly recommend.

The location was good, it was surrounded by f&b restaurant, several convenience store and a coffee house just below the hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly. The facilities are good, well maintained. Love that the TV allow me to watch netflix, fast internet. A bit of a minor inconvenience such as: There was also a door (joint room) which i wasn’t expecting but at least it is locked so thats fine. The safety deposit box was small but staff was kind enough to hold my valuable while I left for conference.

I really appreciated the perfect location, right in the heart of the city and so close to the sea. The highlight was definitely the swimming pool on the higher level, where I could relax with an amazing view of the sea and enjoy the refreshing breeze. I liked the property because the room was very comfortable and beautifully designed, with a nice and relaxing view from the window. It was also extremely easy to check in, and the whole check-in process was completed very quickly without any problems.

Staff actively engages via Booking chatbox, easy self check in, ample parking space, fast lift services, rooms easy to navigate, spacious studio room for 5 adults, 2 towels provided, fast wifi reception, broad tv options (cable channel or stream online platforms), high water pressure at kitchen & bathroom even at 16th floor, big window + seating area, comfortable bed, great airconditioning, awesome swimming pools but at morning its too windy = really3 cold and the place is nearby to town areas.

We had a truly lovely stay at this beautiful studio in Malacca. The environment was calm & welcoming, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The bed was large & incredibly comfortable. We slept so well! The jacuzzi added a wonderful touch of luxury, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Everything was clean, cozy & thoughtfully arranged. Location is the best when compared to Hatten, Courtyard, or Pines Hotel. The room is spacious, and the toilet is big with a bathtub and standing shower. I had the river view. My bed configuration was an extra king for 2 slim adults and a young kid. It's super spacious. The hotel attended to my request to change to this bed configuration even though I booked a 2 single beds via Bookings.com. Thumbs up for the staff! The entire facility is basically clean and well maintained. The staff were hospitable and helpful. It has a jetty to pick up passengers for the river cruise. Their rates are slightly cheaper. The breakfast spread was reasonable and good. On top of the usual buffet spread, there's also a breakfast menu where you can order Casa Breakfast, Egg Benedict, etc. The proximity to Jonker Street and the Red Square is a mere 5 mins walk from the lobby! You can go there daily for all your favourite local or peranankan food.

Absolutely stunning accommodation in an excellent location overlooking the river. We stayed for 5 nights and were blown away at the size of the rooms, the quality of the decor, the bedding and the views. From the fruit platter to the Nesprsso coffee maker and pods plus tea and instant coffee, the huge bath, stylish huge shower, dressing room to the huge plush bed - the Casa del Rio really is a "home" for guests in Melaka. Breakfast is plentiful and has many options. As a gluten intolerant person, I found the breakfast options plentiful. The infinity pool and swim up bar are a welcome relief from the heat and is a fantastic place to float and watch the boats and people coming and going. Staff at Casa del Rio are attentive, helpful, genuine and supremely professional and welcoming. From the moment of check in until we sadly checked out, Casa del Rio exceeded our expectations. We will most certainly recommend and be back.

From checking in to checkout, experience was smooth as silk, friendly & professional. This is our home away from home due to the brilliant location, on the river & the fabulous views. We were here before, this time we brought friends with us who are promising to return next year. Great proximity to shops & cultural exhibits. Ade & Hafiz are exceptional with their warm & helpful welcome. Room was exceptionally styled with fabulous private balcony views, very clean & room service was very attentive. Dear Casa Del Rio Hotel Melaka Team, Tysm for making our 35th wedding anniversary a memorable occasion. We had a nice surprise when we entered our room, appreciate your team effort. Friendly front desk staff during checked in & checked out - En.Redzuan, En.Ariff, En.Ali, Ms Nana and the rest of the staff there. So sorry, couldn't remember all the names 🙏 Fast service from the housekeeping team too. Request a few times mineral water plus some amenities. Friendly server and nice sumptuous breakfast prepared by the Kitchen staff. Nice soup noodles & tomyum noodles which is not too spicy. They also have A La Carte Menu for you to order together with the breakfast buffet spread. Initially, we taught we had to pay extra. So, we clarified with the server and was told that it's inclusive with the breakfast of the day. I ordered the roti canai which is nice, crispy and not oily plus dhall gravy. We also ordered the Kopitiam Boiled eggs set. You can choose either soft or hard boiled eggs. Note : Hope they can put some indication on the A La Carte menu that it is inclusive with the breakfast of the day 😁 Location wise, very strategic. Near to all the main attractions, within a few minutes walking distance especially for elderly guest like us. We had an enjoyable staycation here. Many thanks.

Very nice hotel in Melaka and in a great location close to Jonker Street. Our room was very spacious with a river view and balcony, with good storage for both clothes and luggage. Very comfortable room and super infinity pool on the roof of the hotel with about 10-12 sun loungers and a small pool bar. Great views of Melaka from the pool! Very helpful front desk staff who were happy to offer advice on sightseeing and restaurant recommendations.

First of all, thanks to Fatiha (host) for her exceptional service and guidance. Her prompt and clear instruction, also her attentiveness to address few of our issues even the minor one is really made our short vacation more enjoyable and memorable. And the room itself was very cozy and comfortable for the three of us. Especially the bathtub which my 7 years old son enjoy very much when he couldn’t go to the waterpark during the night. 😅 Overall, I’ll definitely suggest it to my colleagues and will come back in the near future.

We payed the price for a standard homestay, and it comes with 4 tickets to the waterpark - so i would say this is very very much worth it Easy check in - no need to go through mutipel steps to check in Big spacious apartment, with 2 huge bathrooms Comes with ticket to the waterpark Nice cafe downstairs - the coffee sucks, but the pineapple fried rice is good Generally clean and ambient Towels iron hair dryer mini fridge iron board - albeit really short - tissue rolls, soap for showering small rack to hang wet clothes hot shower are all provided

Location was near enough to where we needed to go. Waterpark seems fun enough but we didn't use that facility. Ample parking to get to the villa. Easy enough to find the place. Room has a homey feel to it. Wifi provided. Toilet is big enough but no table top space to place toiletries. Shower is good. Bed feels a little worn out but it's still alright. Having a sofa is a nice touch. Nice to have extra towels provided.

Clean room, cozy and the best thing is the room is equipped with a bath tub. My kids enjoyed playing at the themepark and we plan to repeat this trip again. Thankq host for a friendly check in guideline. 😍 Additional info : for this studio room, you will get 2 free admission to the waterpark. For kids below 90cm, free of charge. Additional ticket can be bought from the counter at the waterpark.

1. Check-in on 3pm onwards, upon check-in we were given 4 waterpark access card for our 2 rooms bedroom unit. Parking was adequate for guests to park their vehicles so no worries yeah 😁 2. What we liked the most about our room was because it was clean, towels were provided inside the unit. Shower gel was also provided in the toilet. Moreover, the water heater and air-conditioner all were functioning well. There were 3 units of air-conditioner installed in the unit at the living room, master bedroom and also at the second bedroom 3. Iron, sejadah (Muslim praying mat), hair dryer, water heater, and a small unit of fridge were provided in the unit. 4. The waterpark was super big, a lot of big-fun waterpark slides and this place was also suitable for small kids for families to bring along to get some fun. There was also a small cafe inside the waterpark area, so you can buy some food to munch there.

Apartment is clean and comfortable with full air conditioning. Host is also very attentive and helpful.

Everything was excellent. Easy parking. Check in was easy and fast. The place were big and clean and perfect for family. Free pass for waterpark. The location were good and easy to move all around Melaka city. The best is the host that is so helpful & polite.

THE VIEW! Space is spacious, luxurious, feels like a real home. The main bedroom is so big it could fit one king bed and one queen size bed, with night stands in between. Huge main bathroom with bathtub (very clean) separate with rain & hand shower, overviewing the sea. Very nice balcony looking over the sea, with the egg chair (or whatever you call that) perfect to watch the sunrise or sunset. There's also a hanger outdoor to hang your towels. Plates, bowls, mugs are provided. Infinity pool are fantastic and 90% clean. They are operating morning until 11am, then starts again 2pm til evening. There is plenty of stuff to do when it rains all day and you do not wanna go anywhere. Lotsa makan places and massage places within minutes drive, just note that not everywhere accept cards. So get your cash or Paylah ready.

Love the magnificent seaview sceneries from the balcony from unit at level 20. Enjoy watching sunrise in the morning from the bedroom and living room balcony. The apt is very well maintained, clean and efficient service rendered when we encounter some issue with the bedroom key lock. Other facilities include gym fitness and Infinity pool at level 13 was fantastic. Dining experience at the Altitude roof top restaurant located at level 44 is a must visit, friendly services, enjoy their yummy food, drinks with breathtaking view, cosy ambience esp in the night. Will definitely stay here again.

we have a small child with us, so the playground in the 2nd living area is wonderful. many toilets so no need to fight in the mornings. we love the size and that there are 2 sections to the apartment and 2 sets of keys so we can split up and do other things. the apartment is comfy, clean and just great! it's not smack centre of the action but a Grab ride out is so easy and not expensive. high floor with great views, the apartment vibe is good too (iykwim). the indoor playground in the mall connected to the apartment is fantastic for kids. Checking in and out is so easy and no hassle or stress. across the street are some massage places and food cafes. 7eleven downstairs is good too. the apartment security guys are awesome and welcoming and helpful.

Location away from the busy Jonker street but it's quite central and nearby there are some good restaurants. The apartment is clean 👍👍 and big, coffee and tea are provided 👍👍. The view from the swimming pool is beautiful.

The view from our room is incredible. Spacious room with pantry and washing machine. The pool was really big and there was a jogging trail where you can hike to the top of the building for an amazing view.

We initially booked the Deluxe King Studio (Japanese minimalist theme) for 5 nights. The room faced the city, featured a king-size bed, and had a simple, uncluttered layout with minimal furniture. You may get to enjoy catching the sunrise from the city view. Unfortunately, the TV had some issues after we checked in, but the operations team under Jeffery Lam Home Management responded swiftly, coming over to check. When it couldn’t be fixed, they quickly and apologetically offered us another available room — a Studio with sea view on the same floor. The transfer was smooth and prompt, and we truly appreciated their effort. While the rooms may show some signs of age, it was clean and comfortable. A big thank you to the operations team for their responsiveness and care!

We had a really nice stay here! The apartment was super clean, modern and cozy. Our hosts were very helpful and kind. The location was a quiet area. About 15 mins walk to old town and has lots of food places near by. I would recommend.

The facilities provided were excellent, clean, and well-maintained. The location was also very convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions, shops, and restaurants, which made the stay even more enjoyable

Nice large room, clean, large bathroom with a good shower. Big bed, very comfy and pillows were lovely and soft. Pool on the roof was great, super views of the Melaka Straits and when we used it on 3 occasions - we were almost the only ones there. However, take your own towel as the hotel will not provide you with one as a ‘home stay’ guest.

Unit is spacious with lovely view of the Malacca River and St Paul's Hill. Comfortable lounger at the balcony to enjoy the lovely breeze whilst taking in the view. Staff (guard) was friendly and helpful.

Great location in historic centre of Malacca, 5-10 mins walk to everything:) Highly recommend the Stolen Cup and Daily Fix for breakfast/lunches. Loads of Museums and temples to visit nearby, locals were very friendly. Apartment was clean, spacious and attractively furnished with every facilty needed incl washing machine /dryer. Pool was lovely -like an infinity pool overlooking river and street scene of nighttime malacca. Apartment was wonderfully quiet, aircon perfect. Only issue was the spare bed we never found, so it is just 2 doubles as far as I can tell. Overall we were so fortunate to find this place definitely recommend.

Excellent Stay at Casa del Rio Melaka! We had a wonderful stay at Casa del Rio. The location is perfect—just a short walk to Jonker Walk, making it super convenient for exploring the area. The room was very clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained. It truly felt comfortable and relaxing. Definitely worth the money for the quality, service, and location. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Melaka!

The shared garden area is peaceful for morning walks, and the sauna room helped us unwind. It’s super convenient, walking distance to many cafes and restaurants, very near shopping malls like Mahkota Parade, anf also near to major attractions and easy access to public transport.

If you're looking for a peaceful yet conveniently located stay, this place hits the mark. The bed was super comfy, and we had coffee on the balcony each morning while enjoying the view of the Straits of Melaka. The residence is close to key attractions like Melaka River Cruise and Hatten Square. Facilities were well maintained, especially the pool.

We were impressed by the elegant design of the unit, spacious layout with kitchenette, good air conditioning, sound proof windows, and that bathtub after a long day was a treat. The building facilities are excellent, both outdoor infinity pool and a children’s pool, a well equipped gym, landscaped gardens and secure 24 hours security plus gated access make you feel safe and well catered for. The location is very convenient, walking distance or short drive to Jonker Walk, Mahkota Parade, A Famosa, cafes, waterfront dining and also near hospitals like Mahkota Medical Centre.

Our stay at Imperio was very comfortable with a clean, cozy space that had everything we needed, and the building facilities like the gym, children’s pool, and rooftop lounge made it a relaxing place to unwind, plus it’s just a short drive to Jonker Street and the historical core of Melaka.

The stay was pleasant. Spacious unit with a nice city view. Lots of food options nearby and very close to historical sites like St. Paul’s Hill. Host very friendly and helpful.

Our room faced back parking lot (free for guests, very convenient to find on map) which was very quiet, although even the street-facing rooms would be quiet since hotel is on the outer ring of the Jonker Walk district, and the street was very quiet by dark. Location could not be better - fabulous to be right in the district, able to go back and forth during the very hot day to cool off and refresh in air-conditioned room. Quality toiletries and towels, in-room frig stocked with complimentary drinks and juices. Coffee and tea in room. Mattress was high quality, very comfortable. Nice breakfast buffet including fresh fruit and juices, also menu to order additional hot dishes - a mix of local, Indian, and Western choices. Espresso machine for good coffee drinks. Cafe open until 3pm serving small selection of appetizers, including yummy chicken satay. We highly recommend this lovely hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Liu Men Melaka and I have to say that it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming and friendly, and the check-in process was seamless. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a blend of traditional and modern elements that create a unique and stylish atmosphere. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with all the amenities you would expect from a luxury hotel, including a comfortable bed, high-quality linens, and a modern bathroom with a rain shower. The location of the hotel is also ideal, as it is within walking distance of many of Melaka's top attractions, including Jonker Street and the A Famosa Fort.

Rarely rate a hotel this high but Liu Men was probably one of the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The staffs were super friendly and helpful. You get a complimentary coffee / tea, and enjoy around the lobby area. Room was very well designed with aircond & fan, sufficient sunlight, complimentary snacks & drinks and the bathroom is just amazing especially if you walked around Melaka the whole day and you just want to enjoy a hot shower. Located just 1 minute away from Jonker street (so if you come around weekend you get to enjoy Jonker Night Market 1 min away from the hotel), perfecttttttt location 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Definitely would come back here if I’m travelling to Melaka again!

This hotel is one of the best we’ve ever stayed at. On a sweltering day, we were warmly welcomed by the very lovely Didi and a most helpful concierge. We were given cold towels and a refreshing drink, both of which were greatly appreciated. The check in process was smooth and friendly. We loved our beautifully furnished room with its comfortable bed and exquisite bathroom. The range of complimentary drinks, snacks and toiletries was exceptional and this was a very welcome extra; it really made a difference. The free, accessible nearby parking was very helpful, as was the free WiFi. Proximity to the centre of the town was very convenient. The breakfast was wide ranging, delicious and beautifully served. We checked out reluctantly. We would have loved to have stayed longer. We cannot rate this hotel highly enough. We will be back!

Hotel and rooms have tasteful decoration, clean and extremely good location, near to Jonker's Street and Dutch Square and walkable distance to nice restaurants. Parking was convenient too. Staff are very friendly and helpful from the reception, concierge to courtyard restaurant staff (Lulu, Ray, Zul & everyone else). Bed & pillows are clean, comfortable, nice snacks in the room and other personal touches! Will come back!

It's always a pleasure when a hotel exceeds your expectations, and this was certainly the case with SGI. Excellent customer service from friendly and genuinely helpful staff made us feel at home. The 2-bedroom apartment was generously sized, each with its own ensuite, desk, safe, etc, with a comfortable living area and kitchen. Cleanliness is a priority for us, and we were not at all disappointed. Airconditioning worked very well, so we were very comfortable in spite of the hot weather in Melaka. The beds and pillows were super comfy too. Location was quiet, but conveniently located within 5 mins walk to a large shopping mall, restaurants and other outlets. Would have loved to stay longer, but had to leave due to our travel plans. We're very happy to have discovered this little gem of a hotel and would certainly recommend SGI Vacation Club Hotel to anyone visiting Melaka. Thank you to Emma (Rehimah) and all the staff who made our stay memorable!

We had such a wonderful stay here, the hotel was great and the staff were amazing. Our room was really big , spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfortable and the bathroom and shower were great. Daily housekeeping meant everything was really clean and tidy the whole stay and the general quality and standard of everything in the hotel was really high. The front desk staff were particularly lovely , friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for having us!

Staff is excellent, professional, friendly, and efficient for check-in and check out. Bed was comfortable and really nice bathroom with amazing shower. We were offered a complimentary room upgrade and early check in. Very very clean. Car parking, or grab is only 6RM to Jonker, walk is 15 minutes but not paved all the way but a relaxing walk past scenic buildings. Excellent value for money.

Had a wonderful 2 nights stay! The staff named Huda, was very professional and polite. Everything was explained clearly and she provided exceptional service. The twin room with view was great. Good room size, comfy beds and clean. Aircon was powerful. The only downside was the bathroom. When you shower, water can still splash out which will cause the floor and carpet to be wet. The room was also quite dim with inadequate lighting at the bed area. But overall still a pleasant stay!

I stayed at Rossa Malacca and really enjoyed my time there. The room was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated with a modern touch. The bed was super comfortable, and everything felt fresh and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The hotel’s location is excellent it’s close to Jonker Street and other main attractions, which made exploring the city very convenient. Breakfast was simple but tasty, and the overall ambiance of the hotel felt calm and relaxing. Definitely a good value for money and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Malacca.

The hotel probably has the most unique design in the whole of Malacca. Stylish contemporary setup, cozy, clean and Instagramable photos, perfect for those who like to inspire through visual perspective. The Deluxe King room was magnificent! Spacious, clean, and rustic, has all the necessary facilities like TV, Iron and ironing board, hairdryer, work station with plug points, single seater sofa, safe deposit box. Staffs were amazing, attentive and friendly, made the stay felt welcomed and appreciated. Food selection offered at Bica & Co was reasonable, tasty and there's a lot to pick and choose from their menu, including vegetarian selection. They have indoor and outdoor seating arrangement. The hotel is less than 10 minutes drive from famous places like Bukit Melaka, Jonker Street, Stadhuys, River Cruise etc, so staying here was ideal to move around. If you want privacy with classy NYC feel, this is the hotel to choose in Malacca.

Room was dust-free and clean. There was some smell from the cleaning product in the room when I checked-in. It was resolved by leaving the room window open for 30 minutes. Bed was comfortable. The desk in the room was broad making it easy for those of us who were working on our laptops. I liked the open shelve concept, easy to spread our personal items. A generous number of bottled water was topped up on a daily basis in our rooms. Breakfast was simple. My colleagues appreciated the local dishes that made up the breakfast menu. Limited options for vegetarians, but enough to get by, there was bread, croissants, potato patties and eggs (if you don't mind eggs). Vegans - may want to check with hotel team before booking breakfast package. The seating area in the cafe was comfortable and allowed for co-travelers in different rooms to come together and plan the day. The gym had minimal but essential equipment for a good cardio workout. The view from the top most floor was amazing. Fuss-free parking. We parked our car in front of the hotel entrance and walked in with our luggage. A shoutout to the staff, from the check-out team, the cafe team, the security, to the house-keeping team - all of them were friendly and responded to queries efficiently.

Booked this hotel because I have a Marriot gift voucher. The parking was bright and spacious with a guard station. Check-in was fast. Lobby was huge and decorated nicely. The room looks exactly like the picture published. Size and layout of room was very comfortable - I like how the toilet roll holder was designed to keep your phone (see pic) LOL! This hotel looks new and is clean for sure. Restaurant is nicely laid out but quiet, and food was unexpectedly delicious, especially the mee goreng! Location was quiet/peaceful with a short 5min drive to Jonker Street. Grab rides are easy to get so you avoid having to find parking. Staff were all impeccably friendly. Special mention to Daniell at front desk - I've had a technical problem with my Bonvoy account setup for years and many have failed to help me. He not only helped me get back access, he explained to me what was the issue (yeah, my fault!) so I know what I can do to fix this in future. Many thanks Daniell! Overall a delightful experience.

The hotel is new and was undergoing a soft launch when we stayed there. It is conveniently located in a quiet area just away from the main city area. Going to places of interest was easy and inexpensive as we used Grab or walked to the nearby shops for local breakfast. The room were nice and spacious enough for the both of us. We had a Straits view room which gave us a beautiful and unobstructed view. The pool and recreation area on the 8th floor was also lovely and relaxing. As we drove in from Singapore, it was nice that the hotel was easy to find and offers free parking. The staff were friendly and attentive which made our stay much more pleasant!

Everything was great. From the moment we walked in the staff was very helpful and friendly. With 42m2 I was worried the room wouldn’t be enough for a family of 4. But the room was spacious. Beds are super single were comfortable enough for two adults. However, upon check in staff informed us if beds not enough they would give us additional beds. The hotel is brand new and super clean. All toiletries were good quality, even in door slippers were so cute and comfy I loved breakfast, very good food, variety and quality. However the coffee machine could do better.

The name says it all: Small luxury hotel! The main building is a beautifully restored colonial home which houses the reception, dining, and sitting area, as well as the gorgeous bar. The room are in a newer building behind the main house. The rooms were beautifully furnished. And the bathroom - clawfoot bathtub, spacy shower, etc.! The attention to detail - tiles, colors, craftsmanship - was the dot on the i! The staff was friendly, very helpful and attentive - from the guy that opened the door to the general manager! The food, both for breakfast and dinner was fresh, flavorful and delicious! I highly recommend the cooking class - it started with a stroll across the local market and lots of explanations. Than followed a short break with the best coffee I have had: KOPI! The cooking station was set up next to the pool and a very patient chef walked me through on how to cook a wonderful chicken curry dish with fried eggplants. They took us to the dining room and we got to eat what I cooked.

Services was very good- friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean and tastefully decorated. We also enjoyed the breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. Treatment in a spa, in our case Balinese massage, was very relaxing and professional. Location convenient.

The location is good with many restaurants nearby, and the centre with all the tourist attractions is in walking distance. We stayed here for 5 nights and really enjoyed it. I loved everything at this place: the rooms are spacious, very clean and cozy, with natural light and a small balcony, the wifi is fast, the water dispenser and snack bar are handy. The staff is lovely, especially Mr Wee who kept me company many times on the balcony, gave me useful advice and explained the Chinese traditions as celebrations were happening in the temple. Highly highly recommend this place - the value for money is amazing, there are plenty of food options around including three great veggie places, and it's only a 15-20 minutes walk through Little India to reach Dutch Square.

Spacious rooms, Willy the owner is very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The stay itself is unique being attached to a temple. It is opposite a small food centre with lots of Chinese food, perfect for breakfast. The area is a lot cheaper for food than by the river. It’s a walkable distance to the river and Jonker Street. Even to the Portuguese village. The option for bike hire here is nice too. There is also a water dispenser which is nice.

The staff is superb! We arrived at night and there was nobody at the front desk (Willy was having dinner), but as we arrived we got wifi and sent messages to the staff, and Willy replied very quick! We reckon that the staff was one of the most positive points of our stay! This was our 2nd time in Melaka, and after the checkin, Willy showed us a map of the city with the main attractions and also explained to us a little bit about the history of the city. The room was big, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was very simple but it was clean and the shower was hot! The only issue that made us not sleep very well on the 1st night was that we missed the duvet cover sheet (because the texture of the blanked was not good). But the staff was great and they provided an extra sheet and duvet cover for us on the 2nd day! (We stayed 4 nights there) The living room is cozy and it has a balcony with Chinese lanterns. You can find lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Moreover, the building itself is very unique! On the 3rd floor you can find a big Chinese temple! We loved it!

An atmospheric place with a temple on the top floor (well worth a visit). The staff were welcoming and helpful and the WiFi was good. The hotel is around a 15 minute walk from Dutch Square and the river and around 20 minutes from Jonker Walk.The room was comfortable with its own bathroom and balcony and, whilst we couldn’t manage to get hot water from the shower, it wasn’t a problem as we were glad of a cool shower after a day out in the heat. The air conditioning was good and there are snacks in the lobby to buy if you need them. Altogether a great stay.Thank you Heng Ann Guest House.

A really wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of Malaka. Lovely period building renovated to a high standard. Comfortable and well appointed bedrooms. The hotel is perfectly positioned to explore Malaka, all the main sites easily walkable. Staff were attentive and professional and the breakfast plentiful. And I must add that the roof terrace with sunbathing pools is a real bonus. Can't fault it in any way.

Everything about our stay at Treasures Hotel was excellent. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Check-in and check-out were seamless after our long journey. The staff also provided us with suggestions of where to eat and go, when we asked what their favourite places were! The hotel itself had lots of character, while being clean and all in working order. The rooms were adequate in size, with working air conditioning and fans, and the beds themselves were comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the showers had good pressure. Breakfast was a mix of la carte & reduced buffet due to low-occupancy but the choices were good and we spent both mornings trying all the options. The nasi lemak, bee hoon goreng and roti canai we're all excellent and of big portions. The fresh fruit & pastry buffet were all tasty and of good quality. The staff were all too obliging when we asked for second rounds of coffee, too. Roof top pool was of a good size to actually swim up and down, unlike a lot of hotel pools. The steam room was also a perk! Location of the hotel was just outside of all the touristy destinations. Certainly within walking distance for the cooler weather at this time of year! Would stay again.

This hotel is just far enough out of the hustle and bustle of the main attraction but within walking distance the rooftop pool was lovely for a cool down after a day out and the rooms are comfy excellent shower comfy bed tv it you want it with English Channels. Coffee machine fridge hair dryer toiletries provided. Breakfast is pre order the night before but you help yourself to cereals fruit pastries and toast. If you wanted something different from the pr order menus I’m sure they would accommodate. Cynthia who serves breakfast is very friendly and attentive as are all the staff within the hotel. We would definitely return again as it’s a quiet relaxed atmosphere. Oh and air con in room excellent after a day in the sun.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Treasures Hotel Melaka! The hotel is beautifully designed, with a perfect blend of modern comfort and historical charm. Second visit to this hotel and the location is perfect for been close to the attractions but far enough from the centre for the peace and quiet. Staff are all friendly and attentive always smiling. Rooms have all you need for a comfortable stay beds comfy. Good shower. The rooftop pool is nice for a dip later in the day and never really busy so sun loungers were always available. The breakfast choice is nice with enough selection for all nationalities. Air con in the rooms was really good too. Definitely choose this hotel again if we return to malacca.

Lovely hotel, very close to the city center yet incredibly quiet. The room was comfortable (even if the view was just of a parking lot), and the breakfast was perfect. The hotel opened one month before our stay so everything was pretty much brand new and in perfect shape. The room was very clean and spotless, so was the washroom. The staff was hospitable, kind and friendly. I really enjoyed swimming in the outdoor pool. The property is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood. To the north of the hotel is a Hindu temple open 24/7. The breakfast buffet was super with a good selection of food including some desserts! I only hope that the quality will not decrease over time.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The toilet is clean and comes with all the necessary toiletries stuff. The bed was perfect and comfortable. The hotel staffs are very nice and helpful. Ample parking is also available for hotel guests.

Cleanness is amazing here!! The cleanest hostel I have ever been in. The vibes are friendlu, comfortable, positive and awesome. The organization of the place, and the staff is amazing. It's not in the main attractions area, but it is around loooots of small restaurants, and cafeterías, the beach is walkable. You can't swim here but it ia lovely to go and visit

Everything was clean and I especially love the location of the hostel. There are so many Chinese, Japanese and Korean restaurants right outside the building. It’s a great place to stay because it allows you experience Japanese, Chinese and Korean culture and taste their cuisine without actually travelling there. The hostel has free coffee, tea, biscuits and water too! It’s also super clean. The staff are super sweet too :)

Hotel location was very central, walking distance to Jonker Street for all your eating and shopping. There was allocated free parking behind the hotel (1 or 2) and we were fortunate enough that it was a rather quiet day for the hotel so we managed to snag the parking lot. We had the premium balcony room, which view half overlooks the Melaka river so it was quite nice. Room was clean and comfortable, spacious enough for 2 for a short stay. It was 31st December, so we had wonderful exclusive view of New Year fireworks from the privacy of our balcony! What a great experience.

Great hotel closed to Jonker Walk. Hotel is really nice and the room is clean, nicely decorated and especially the bathroom with the rainfall shower. There is plenty of hot water. The front desk staff is very helpful and nice especially Hasan who was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend the hotel especially booked the room towards the back with the balcony. The balcony overlook the Malacca River. Will definitely stay there again.

We are so glad that we chose this hotel. One block off from Jonker street and convenient for sightseeing. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. Staff are friendly and helpful, our room was clean, nice mattress, coffee, tea, etc. The breakfast buffet was very nice as well. I went back for the third plate. If you are vegetarian, they can accommodate but you need to request in advance.

We arrived mid-day....as parking is always a concern we asked if we could park, register and then check in later. The staff directed hubby to the secure parking while I checked in as our room was ready. We have never stayed in a boutique hotel in Malacca before and we were impressed. First appearances, the hotel was clean, well maintained and centrally located. Our room was amazing. There was a separate sitting area with the bedroom and balcony upstairs. The room was well appointed and we found it very comfortable for our needs. Major plus....so close to Jonkers and all the action. I thought the location might be a bit noisy as the street market was so close but it was fairly quiet. The market noise seemed to subside at 10:30 pm which to me is quite reasonable. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The small details ie good quality towels, china, and nice furnishings were nice. Breakfast at the sister hotel was basic. Two hot dishes plus eggs of your choice with fruit,cereal breads and hot drinks was quite adequate for our needs. Only concern for others looking at this review is the stairs in the hotel. It was fine for us but for others it might be a problem as the stairs in places are narrow and steep. We would certainly stay here again. Thank you Heeren Suites for the wonderful stay

We were a family of 5 and were looking for a stay together. Initially was a bit sceptical to take this but turned out to be good. This is an individual house just 3mins walk from their main hotel backdoor and fully maintained by the hotel. The house is very spacious with 4 bedrooms(all at 2nd floor, 3 proper, 1 attached toilet, 1 with bunker bed), hall, dining & kitchen with a private car park spacious for 2 cars. All the rrquired amenities were there, and toilets were clean. The surrounding area had food outlets (local food), and there is a mini market just across. The breakfast served at the main hotel and was decent with selected dishes and tasty. We all enjoyed the stay - good and comfortable.

A beautifully done up Peranakan house, very central - perfect for exploring central Malacca. The room was very comfy and clean, staff were very friendly and helpful.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Dusit Princess Hotel. My room was spacious, featuring a luxurious king-size bed and a powerful shower. What an incredible hotel. This was the perfect end to a 2-week stay in Malaysia. Our room (Executive King) was lovely - very spacious, huge comfy bed, bathroom with shower and bath, and great views over the historic centre and out to the sea. The breakfast was very good, with a great choice. The pool is huge and we had it to ourselves for a lot of the time. The Exec lounge area is comfy with a nice choice of refreshments. The hotel is easy walking distance to China Town, Jonker Street and the historic centre. But most of all, the staff were truly wonderful. Thank you to Douglas, Hilmi, the breakfast manager, the lovely lady from reception, and the doormen. You all made this stay very special, despite us feeling a little sad at the end of our holiday and after saying goodbye to our son who is off to work and travel in Australia for a year. The perfect end to a lovely holiday. I hope we get to come back.

Overall, the rooms and facilities were really clean. Loved the variety of equipment in the gym! Pool was small but sufficient for laps (if you really needed to swim laps). They have a pool play area sectioned off, so it’s safe for families with young kids. Food and fruit variety for the buffet breakfast is also good, and I love their live egg/omelette, noodle, and fruit juice sections. Staff are always friendly and attentive of guests. View of melaka river from room was nice too.

All the coffee shops, breakfast places, restaurants, and sights, including the night market, are right there. At the same time, the room was very peaceful, comfortable, and charming. The bathroom was comfortable, the shower section was big and lovely. We had enough towels, tea, and coffee bags, and a mini fridge, and all the amenities were great. We particularly appreciated the fact that there was parking belonging to the hotel. The staff was kind, friendly, obliging and helpful. We recommend this hotel to everyone.

This hotel has a perfect location right in the town center, you can't have it any better. We checked in on a Friday night, were told that our rooms were at the front side of the hotel and that there was a night market, so it could be a bit noisy. No problem what so ever we did not hear a thing. Both the original stained glass windows are there and an additional window frame on the inside. Yes the rooms are really big, so is the bed and the pictures that are on Tripadvisor do match reality. The walking distance to the red heritage buildings is really close and while walking to them, you can enjoy all the shops and many restaurants that are on your way. The parking is right behind the hotel very convenient. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful and the reception is manned 24hrs. The hotel does not have an elevator, though staff can assist you with carrying your luggage to the room if required. This hotel has art deco looks, both interior and exterior of the hotel. The hotel does not serve breakfast but you can have a western breakfast at the stolen cup or any of the many restaurants nearby. If you find this review helpful pls give me a thumbs up, I must have done close to 500 reviews and if I can count the votes on one hand.

Boutique Hotel is literally just a minute walk to Jonker Street night market which operates from Fridays to Sundays. However, it was not noisy and we slept well. Walkable also to all the other major places of interests. There are cafes, bistro, bars and restaurants so you save money on transport. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. We booked the hotel because there is free and enclosed parking behind the back entrance and you can enter and exit the car park by pressing the remote control given to you when you check in. The entrance to the car park was blocked during the night market operating hours but we could still enter by taking a slight detour. Breakfast was not included but the restaurant besides the hotel serves good breakfast toast and coffee/tea and local noodle/rice dishes. Would stay again if we visit Malacca in the near future.

Pros- excellent customer service and awesome location. It’s right at the doorstep of Jonker Street thoroughfare! Almost everything - food, street shopping, historical sites are within walking distance. There’s a night market right in front on Fridays Saturdays and Sundays Yet there’s a secure car park behind. That suited us perfectly. The rooms & bathrooms are clean . There’s a rain shower and bathtub in bathroom. Rooms are clean with clean & comfortable linens. High ceiling rooms. The reception hall and little courtyard was airy & cooling. As we were there from Sunday to Monday , we were allowed late checkout :) Cons- stairs & steps. As this is a renovated boutique hotel in an old shophouse building, the stairs were narrow & no lifts. For those with no mobility issues, it’s perfectly okay. Staff were ready & helpful with luggages. In the rooms we stayed, there are steps either at room door entrance & bathroom entrance . It’s okay . Just be mindful.

The hotel staff has been very helpful, welcoming and professional. They also provided us with a list of places to have dinner and they were amazing, we had very nice and tasty local food! The hotel is very nice, in a typical building, perfectly located at the beginning of Jonker street, the principal street of the town. The room was comfortable and cosy, with air conditioning.

I’ve stayed at Hilton Putrajaya, Damai Laut, and Melaka and honestly, Melaka is my favorite. Even though I have a 4-year-old toddler, I still prefer Hilton Melaka. For families with kids, Damai Laut or Putrajaya might feel more suitable, but for me, the Hilton in Melaka just stands out. The rooms are new, cozy, and super comfortable. I’ve never experienced this same level of comfort at other Hilton hotels. The water pressure in the bathroom is amazing, especially the overhead shower that feels like water falling from the ceiling. It’s so refreshing, almost like showering under a waterfall. Pure therapy! Usually, in other 5-star hotels, especially on higher floors, you don’t get such strong water pressure. The bed, pillows, and comforter are all incredibly comfortable. The staff are outstanding from the receptionists at check-in to the team assisting with the lift and guiding us to a table at breakfast, everyone was so warm and friendly. I especially want to highlight the Malay staff who assisted me throughout my stay. They were genuinely kind, attentive, and carried such natural warmth. It really made me feel welcome. And speaking of breakfast, the food here is hands down the best among the three Hiltons I’ve tried. There’s such a wide variety, so many choices, and even close to 10 am the food was still being refilled and plentiful. Honestly, I just love Hilton Melaka so much. Everything about this hotel makes me happy!

Stayed one night in a Deluxe Queen to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it was perfect. The staff were incredibly friendly and quick to assist, making us feel welcome right away. We stayed at Puri Hotel because we liked the look of the Peranakan theme. Hotel was charming and warm. Felt like a home with a historical vibe. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and accomodating, especially Lorna who was efficient and helpful. Breakfast buffet was reasonable. Location was convenient and very close to Jonker St night market, main attractions and shops, all short walking distances. Hotel services and rooms exceed their 3 star rating. Highly recommend. Great value for money. Would stay again.

The room was clean and with facilities, tastefully decorated. The reception was fast to check us in and very friendly. The concierge helped guide us to the carpark which was nearby. All in all, the hotel was beautifully decorated with historic items, my kids oved going to the library as well!

Great location, in chinatown 5 minutes walk to Jonker street. Despite central location very quiet at night. The hotel is WOW. I sent photos to friends and they all asked why we live in a museum :-) V ery cozy courtyard, pleasant music plays at the reception, friendly staff. In room there was clean, beds are comfortable, pillows too. The only minus of the room was that our window overlooked the wall of a neighboring building. The hotel is really big and getting a room is a lottery. Some rooms have window with a normal view. But this is not a problem since we walked all day and only slept in the room. Definitely is a great hotel for the price. If the breakfasts would improved then the score is 10 points.

A quaint hotel lobby and reception area that reeks of nostalgia and of a time past. The rooms are comfortable in the newer section where we stayed with the needed amenities. We asked for a baby cot and got a nice and clean foldable cot. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the rooms were efficiently cleaned each morning. Breakfast is standard and fulfilling. The area is situated near all the required attractions and within walkable distance. Stuff in the hotel are all friendly and accommodating.

We opted for double room in a hostel and instead got 5 stars hotel luxury in a very modern premises with so many well- thought welcoming details (tooth brushes, great quality shower products, an iron, hairdryer, coffee, tee, bottles of water, a kettle!!! They even offer two types of pillows- the ones with duck feathers and the ones with synthetic/ regular feeling)! Everything is sparkling clean! The reception features ice cream freezer and cold beverages for very affordable prices.Seating area has very comfy sofa and amazing view of jungle-like garden! Finally, you can swim in an amazing swimming pool with sun- beds and sound-system playing int. music hits! Not to forget wonderful staff members always smiling and ready to assist! All in all, very satisfied with our stay at this exceptional place!

The location is very strategic, just behind the Stadthuys building. Walking distance to all tourist attractions, the road is well lighted when we walk back at night . Its very safe for solo traveler. The breakfast was good, many options and all very tasty. Room is big and clean and we got upgraded to king size room . Many types of room available , shared dorm is also an option if you are solo traveler. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking is available . I strongly recommend this hotel to all.

It is the best place I have ever stayed in Malaysia. It is central, quiet, chill, clean and comfy. It was a great surprise to get there and find out that it was such a tranquil spot. The pool is enough to relax and chill in the times you are not exploring the Old Town of Melaka. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I wish I could stay for longer to be honest. Melaka was an amazing place. If I have to critique something about the place, it would be the lack of windows and ventilation in the shared room (in my case, the men's dormitory). Also, the lack of curtains or something to give you at least some "privacy" on each bed would be greatly appreciated if they could improve and upgrade that in the bunk beds.

Clean room, Simple breakfast of bread/croissant + butter & eggs with locally pre-packed tasty breakfast on each day of our stay e.g. Siam Noodles on our first day, and basic nasi lemak the next morning. Hotel tucked away in a quiet area (good for a peaceful night sleep) and near enough to walk to the main attractions/city centre. e-hailing friendly location too!

bathroom was clean and no mold or any sign of wear, the room was scented lightly. the bathroom had overhang shower which is a plus for me, the parking was convenient using the same card for room and parking access. the whole theme was calming, it does put the mind at ease especially the lighting arrangement. staff was exceptionally pleasant and always smiling and welcoming. there is a nearby cafe The Woods that serves mainly pizza, slow fire pizza which is worth the long wait. sublimely amazing.

The service was extremely exceptional, one of my most favourite stays so far. I had asked for an extra clean rooms, which was exactly what I had gotten. Special mention to Puan Zaleha who supervised the cleanliness of the rooms. Staff were very kind and helpful as well, thank you for making our trip very comfortable. Personally, the rating of this hotel is definitely better than 8.2, I give it a 9! Keep up the amazing service and hospitality, shall surely come here again.

Stayed for 2 weeks and from the moment of check in to the day of checking out has been a pleasant experience. Truly appreciate the warm welcome from Ikmal & co, everyone was so friendly, helpful and accommodating thus making a difficult visit somewhat bearable. The triple room, the bed and bathroom was clean with basic necessities, tea/coffee facilities and complimentary mineral water was provided in the room. The hotel is not far from the city center, located close by to the AEON & Lotus Mall, convenient for shopping and dining. For a quick evening meals the Sri Rahmat restaurant next door also provides variety of food to choose from.

Restaurant nasi lemak is nice. Able to sleep w/o disturbance from morning sun. Near to Aeon. Quiet and clean surrounding. Helpful & friendly staff at hotel and restaurant.

I was really surprised cus I was not expecting that for under 50 euros I was getting a luxury hotel. As I arrived I was offered tea, the staff was really nice, we need to choose a certain amount of items for breakfast and the staff was really helpful once I said I was vegetarian. But the breakfast was delicious and the space of the restaurant is amazing. You won't get super filled from it because it is not buffet, but it is just enough, really really nice French toast with banana and chocolate. The interior of the hotel was amazing and the room as well. It was luxorious. The bathroom shower was amazing. Free Netflix.... I have nothing bad to say

We stayed for 2 nights, the public areas and bedrooms were clean and staff very helpful. It has a colonial feel about it, and the decor and furniture in the reception areas and breakfast room add to the ambience. The breakfast ladies are very helpful, there is a choice of breakfast which is prepared to order. If you want a cup of tea though, take your own tea bags, because only coffee is offered at breakfast. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in the bedrooms. The hotel is ideally situated near Jonker Street, and to the rear is the river walkway, well worth exploring. We would definitely recommend the hotel, a most enjoyable stay.

We had a great stay at Aava while visiting Melaka. This is a heritage building, beautifully maintained and decorated, not pretentious but maintenaing it's character and many of original elements of the traditional house. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, everything is sparkling clean. Location is perfect, super close to all the main spots to visit, near the river, but not in a noisy area. Rooms are quiet as well, we slept super well. Pressure at the shower is also very good. Staff is kind and helpful. Totally recommend it!

Our first stay in Melacca. All the staff were very friendly and super helpful. Advised on places of interest and local eating places. Rooms were clean and tidy and serviced daily to a high standard. Our room had a technical hitch with the air con leaking on the bed and we were quickly upgraded to the honeymoon suite. Thank you. The only real issue we had was the water in the showers. Management need to look at these urgently as clients are either being frozen or scalded as it is just about impossible to keep the temperature at the point you set it. The hotel is on the river and back from Jonker Street so is reasonably quiet. Breakfast whist simple was varied every day and quite satisfactory. They have no juice at the breakfast so we just took our own. Would I stay here again? Yes but I would be asking if the shower issue has been rectified.

Our room was spacious and quiet and had the most comfortable bed, it was like sleeping on a cloud :) Very friendly and helpful staff as well as very good housekeeping every day. I must say this is a jewel hotel in Malacca. Amazing peranakan items and all other collectibles and artifacts from different part of the world . It is a collection of museum . The staff are friendly , quality breakfast , very clean hotel . The owner and family are very friendly as well . The owner chat with us every morning during breakfast sharing with us about peranakan cuisine and her collections of items in the hotel. The location is excellent for sight seeing, shopping and food . The room we stay is not extremely quiet , a bit of muffled noise from nearby bar but didn’t affect our sleep at all . Booked 3 nights in 5 Heeren for our babymoon as I really loved the pictures of the Peranakan architecture and décor of this hotel. I must say the place looks nicer than in the pictures! (too bad no photography allowed) We stayed 2 nights in Oriental and 1 night in The Grand Boulevard Suite, both rooms were nicely decorated each in its own unique way, very clean bathrooms. The staff were all very friendly and approachable and always helpful. This hotel was converted from an authentic traditional Peranakan house so naturally there isn't any elevator/swimming pool, which I totally understand and was not a big problem coz my husband took care of carrying our luggage up the stairs but it was still a little tiring for me (5-month pregnant at the time) to climb 3 storeys to Oriental after a long day's walk around the old town, so those of you travelling with old people you might wanna consider if the elders would complain about that. The Grand Boulevard is on the second floor so it's a bit better. I love the different breakfast meals with traditional Peranakan food and kuehs we get every single morning. The staff keep everything in the hotel in very good order, plants and greeneries are well-maintained, everything is so clean and the floorboards don't squeak when you walk on it like in some of the older buildings (I guess they must have reinforced the floorboards or something when the place was refurbished). The whole place is very quiet, calm and elegant, just love it.

We had three nights at 5 Heeren and really enjoyed our stay. The staff and manageress were all very welcoming and attentive to our needs throughout. The interior of the hotel, with its many antique pieces has the feel of an old-style Peranakan home, which makes it a really special and memorable place. We especially enjoyed the local breakfasts in the main hall area. In terms of its position, it's super-convenient for exploring the heritage of the old town and very close to the night market, yet quiet and peaceful as soon as you step inside. There are some very good restaurants further down the same street -- thanks to the hotel staff for the great recommendations! We hope to visit Malacca again at some point and would definitely come back to 5 Heeren!

We stayed during weekdays, the rooms were not fully occupied. It was very quiet and peaceful. Initially we were quiet worried with steep steps on the traditional old stairs to our room at third level. There was another easier option to climb up and down via the new stairs near the back of hotel. Bathroom was bright and clean. Overall experience is pleasant and unique.

Maria is an amazing host! She is super kind, gives you a lot of information about what to do, and the guesthouse is super super clean! The bed was comfortable, the room big, the a/c worked really well and you have access to free water/coffee/tea. The location is perfect! It's in a quiet street at 5 minutes' walking distance of jonker street. You can even wash some clothes and hang them at the balcony. She has every very well organized and it felt like home. Definitely recommend staying here. She is wonderful and her husband is also very kind! I was waiting for my Grab, but first he was stuck in traffic (weekend), and after he got out of the traffic jam, he went north instead of south. I was going to miss my bus and therefore her husband offered me a ride. I still missed the bus, unfortunately, but it was super kind of him, and I really appreciated it!

The owner was so friendly and helpful and full of local knowledge, she recommended some great restaurants nearby. The hotel was absolutely spotless. Perfect location for exploring melaka. I don't usually "do" shared bathrooms but would absolutely recommend this place as its so clean and there are more than enough bathrooms for everyone.

This is a place where you feel like at home. Travelling for a long time it is always welcoming to stay in accomodations like The Pillohouzzze. The host Maria is great. Very helpful and open-minded. The room was clean, comfy and the location is very close to the Jonker Street and other interesting places/sights. I enjoyed also the living room where you can enjoy your breakfast and start into the day. Totally recommended! Thank you Maria and all the best to you both :)

Good value for money Hotel a short walk from the city centre! Clean, comfortable & convenient, the staff were very helpful especially Mastura who arranged a taxi when l left for KL! Breakfast was okay, but obviously catered more for the Malay diet. Had dinner on the first night but was told no alcohol was served to respect the Muslim tradition (was told l could BYO but l had already ordered food)! There was a Lounge/Bar in the hotel but, for some reason, it looked to be permanently closed (l didn’t ask)! Notwithstanding, l did enjoy my stay and would recommend the place!

I had a great stay at this hotel. The location is very convenient, making it easy to get around and explore the area. We arrived around 330pm and were greeted by Ms. Mastura. She's very professional, compassionate and attended my request to upgrade to the studio swiftly. Welcome drinks were sent to our table while waiting for the room to be ready. And fresh cut fruits were sent to our room! Amazing! The studio suite comes with its own parking spot, so that's one of the perks. A very big room, 2 working desks, a bathtub. They also have pools, steam room, but the sauna is not working though. In-room service was a chef kiss! Breakfast buffet as well. Every service was great and not even another 5* hotels can top that. Do keep it up, because you just made my holiday the best one yet. :)

Big clean rooms and bathrooms. Staff very friendly and remember you from the first minute. My adult son arrived a day after and he didn’t even have to announce himself as they knew who he was. Breakfast was varied and they had a fresh egg station. It is a darker decor and you are not there for hotel views but it’s a comfortable stay where you want to venture out. I applaud there standard given it’s post pandemic and what a tough time it must have been.

The room itself was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable—great air conditioning, excellent bathroom and shower, and a cozy bed. The location is also a huge plus. It’s centrally located and walkable to many attractions. Being connected to a mall with an Oceanarium and other activities made it a great choice for families. We paid for a breakfast-inclusive package and it was well worth it. The buffet had plenty of options, all tasty, with highlights like a fresh omelette station, roti canai made to order, and an excellent fish curry. Breakfast ran from 7am to 12pm, which we really appreciated—it made things more relaxed and never too crowded.

My wife and I stayed here 1 night on 27/7/25-28/7/25. We paid RM390 Nett, for our room which came with a balcony and breakfast for 2 Pax. We loved this hotel; I think because this hotel is still new. 1. Good Points a) The room was super clean, and smelled nice. b) The room size was big, had a separate living room and mini kitchen. c) The pillows and mattress were very comfortable. d) The water pressure was very good. e) The staffs were friendly and helpful. Most importantly, every staff spoke fluent/good English. f) The room’s AC was super cold, I love it! g) The buffet breakfast (RM30 Per Person) was simple, but it was OK for us. h) This hotel is located on top of a shopping mall called The Shore. The mall is simple but awesome! i) We parked our car inside the mall, which was free for hotel guest. j) The check-in 3pm MYT and check-out 12pm MYT process was super-fast. k) Moving around via Grab Taxi from this hotel location to your preferred locations is easy. l) From the balcony, you can see many boats carrying passengers, which is part of the river cruise. Nice view! 2. Bad Points a) The room amenities were simple / poor, but it was OK for us. b) The hotel location is so-so. It’s about 15Min walk (assuming it doesn’t rain) to Jonker Street, which is the main tourist attraction in Melaka.

Spacious room...safe deposit box..good TV with varried channel choices. Very good aircon...great housekeeping...iron plus ironing board...coffee/tea making facilities...bathroom clean with very hot water...but needs an upgrade.wud definitely recommend it to others...we will go back and stay. The breakfast for what we paid (RM 35 per person) was exceptional...something for everyone...East and West...great value for money. Great Parking with security which is important for those arriving by car.Location (for us) was exceptional....many places to eat near by...hotel has a small attached shopping mall called the "Shore Center" and we ate (twice) at "Cafe Chef Wans" Restaurant which was supperb...well worth a visit and suprisingly well priced. Hotel has great views accross the city and is right next to the river

Check-in was extremely quick and friendly; I was able to enter the room at 2:30 PM without waiting. The family suite was excellent — very spacious, impressively clean, beautifully designed, with three balconies and a large master bathroom featuring a bathtub and shower. Breakfast was satisfying, Wi-Fi was fast, and the hotel’s private entrance directly to the shopping mall was extremely convenient. The location is very close to Jonker Street; I didn’t walk there because of the strollers, but it seems very easy to access for those who wish. Overall, the stay was comfortable, welcoming, and exceeded all expectations.

This hotel is definitely worth to stay..good facility with a clean swimming pool. The room is clean and staff are very welcoming and politely answer my inquiry to check in a bit early. My view of room is swimming pool and can see the sunset and sunrise clearly. The breakfast also very delicious with a variety of food. There is a bridge in front of hotel where you can walk along to take picture and have a nice view during night. Parking is provide at level 7 and 8. You can also go to the mall at another site of the hotel where got DIY, KIDS PLAYING GAMES, and some boutique. I suggest to anyone to stay here and you won't regret any penny.

We booked a junior suite. The view overlooked the river and we could see all the way to the Malacca Straits. It was almost magical at night. There were 2 desks and a counter where we could place our snacks. The beds were firm and we slept very comfortably. The bathroom was small but sufficient. We appreciated the hot water for the shower. The TV signal cuts off once a while. This was annoying. The reception staff were very helpful and polite. We can only recall Norain, Hemalatha and Thipiga but must say that all of them were really great ambassadors for the hotel. The buffet breakfast at the hotel was value for money. The service can be improved as the replenishment was a tad slow. The ingredients for the noodles can be positioned so that the work flow is better rather than have the hot water to cook the noodles between the noodles and the ingredients. The positioning slowed the cooking process. The pastry could have been prepared earlier as well because the oven was turned on at about 7.30 to 8am when breakfast starts at 7am. This means the early birds will miss the pastry. Overall, the breakfast buffet was good and the waiters cleared the empty dishes reasonably promptly. The car park was excellent and well positioned in relation to the lifts such that we were able to move our luggage without inconvenience. All in all, we look forward to staying in this hotel again when we next visit Malacca.

The hotel is opposite Kampung Morten. You can see Melaka River view from your room. There are a lot of Restaurants at Kampung Morten. Nearby Chan Mari Chan Restaurant too. It is walking distance from hotel. Jonker Walk is walking distance too. However, if you want to go to Parameswara Ikan Bakar, it will be a bit far away from the hotel. The road is a bit complicated from the hotel. The hotel facilities is good and well maintained. The staffs are very friendly. The hotel breakfast serves simple food. If you want Malay breakfast you can have your breakfast at Kampung Morten. There is a mini mart in the building next door (AIA building).

The vicinity is just nice. Not too situated in high traffic yet not far from the city. The view from the 26th floor is lovely. Rooms are clean. Has a bathtub too. The staff are friendly and professional. The breakfast buffet is super good with ample varieties. We had catered dinner there for 28 pax. Food was good and the servings were plenty. Pricing was super good too. I have no complaints. I will definately come back and I highly recommend The Pines for your next stay. Keep up the good work!!

Overall my stay was a very pleasant one. The hotel room was very spacious and had a perfect view of the river & it's really nice at night with all the lights. All facilities met my expectations, and everything ran smoothly during my stay. However, the WiFi service was very poor. The connection was weak and unreliable, which made it difficult to get work done or stay connected. I hope this can be improved for future guests.

Perfect stay! The location is super strategic, just about a 5-minute drive to all the famous spots in Melaka. The room and toilet were clean, and overall, very comfortable. The aircond worked well, though it made some noise, but it didn’t really bother me. What impressed me the most was the customer service,extremely helpful, friendly, and polite. I also loved the Coway water dispenser, which wasn’t in the room but conveniently located near the lift area. Everything about the stay was just so, so, so good. I felt very safe and truly satisfied with my experience. Highly recommended! Definitely will repeat again.

There’s a seemingly endless list of boutique hotels in Melaka housed in traditional Dutch colonial buildings which makes it hard to choose where to stay. Some seem impossibly cheap and others rather costly, but you won’t go wrong selecting Heeren Palm Suites - originally renovated by DBS Bank in 1990 and used as their private accommodation, before subsequently becoming a hotel. Centrally located in the historic part of town, minutes from Jonker St. and many good restaurants, it retains a lot of original colonial character in excellent condition (wooden doors, tiled floors and walls etc.), is kept clean and tidy, and managed by friendly and helpful staff. We had one of the smaller suites, which was still quite huge, and featured a large bathroom, excellent rain shower, very chilly aircon, and comfortable firm bed. Breakfast is relatively simple but includes fruit, pastries, noodles, cereal, and eggs to order. Kudos to the “breakfast Auntie” who specially cooked MSG-free noodles for my wife! If you’re driving, the hotel has off-street parking round the back, which is a definite bonus in the old town. If you have a choice, request one of the inner courtyard rooms as those facing the road can get a bit noisy at night. A faster WiFi, better TV news channels and more bathroom amenities would help raise the standard. But despite these issues it’s a very pleasant place to stay, being friendly, clean, good value and well located. We’ll definitely be back!

I reserved two rooms, one for me, my husband and son, and another for my parents. My stay here exceeded all expectations. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and well appointed with modern amenities but retained its vintage charm. The room to accommodate my son had an extra day bed in addition to the king size bed. It should be noted the day bed was more than ample for 2 children. The hotel's location was one street offset from Jonker walk and close to the river (less than 10 mins walk) making it extremely convenient. The buffet breakfast spread was a nice surprise and rather tasty. It included both local fare i.e. chicken porridge (bubur), fried noodles, rice and chicken ("ayam masak merah") and an assortment of pastries when we sat to eat. Last but certainly not least, the staff was exceptional and very helpful. Each and every one I encountered went out of their way to answer questions or assist. A great experience and would definitely stay here again if I were to return to Melaka. Highly recommended!

We were greeted by a glass of tea and cold towels to freshen up upon arrival. A sweet gesture we weren't expecting. Service was outstanding. A surprise too to find an area for kids to play, right next to the breakfast buffet area. The buffet spread was perfect. It fits everyone's taste - from rice to noodles, egg station, cereal, waffles and toasts and cut fruits. We stayed for 2 days and they changed menu on the second day. Everything served was delicious. Restaurants for lunch/dinner are right behind this hotel. Cafes and jonker st within walking distance. The room is super cosy with smart TV too. Highly recommended. We will definitely come again.

Room was very spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. It faced onto the main road but there was little noise. Bed and pillows were very comfortable and plenty of amenities. We had a good local breakfast and all the staff were pleasant and helpful. It is in the old town so most of the sights to see were within walking distance. Plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops nearby. The building itself was amazing and plenty of places to wander around and relax. 24 hour security was there. All staff were pleasant and helpful

We were greeted by their friendly receptionist. She gave us a tour of the hotel. It is rich in history! The rooms are on the second floor and the only way up is by the stairs which the elderly might have a bit of a struggle. The rooms are huge and clean. They do not have a proper safe. They have a cupboard which you can lock your belongings in. Rest assured the place is safe. I had accidentally left my valuables lying in the open (i went for breakfast :p ) and came back to a cleaned room and with all my belongings intact. The size of the bathroom is in no way compromised, its really spacious. I truly enjoyed the breakfast provided by the hotel. It changes every day! Best breakfast that i have ever had in a hotel!

It consist of 1 queen bed, 1 single bed and 1 foldable sofa bed. There is a wardrobe fill with iron, the board, hangers, bedroom slipper and a nice bag make from wool i guess to fill laundry for the hotel to send for washing. There is a coffee cups and kettle. The hotel also provide coffee, tea, sugar and creamer sachets. They also provide toiletries. But if you or your family members totally in wheelchair, the shower is not wheelchair friendly. But the rest of the hotel is mostly wheelchair friendly. Parking is a private parkin on site which is very safe. There is a pool for both adult and kids. There is a gym too and 3 conference room. There is a breakfast include in your stay if you choose when make a booking. The breakfast is a simple one but delicious... there is nasi lemak, fried beehoon, soup noodle, bread, salad and coffee tea. There is also a cereal for kids. There is also a room service you can order. The staff are all so friendly and courteousy. The hotel manager is friendly and he help his staff clear table after the guest left as he see his staff is so busy. Overall is a WOW! Will stay there again if im in Melaka. Thank you IBIS Melaka.

Previously, in 2023, I visited ibis Melaka for breakfast and was satisfied enough to decide to stay here on my next trip. In September 2024, I stayed at the hotel overnight. Check-in had a few minor hiccups. First, an Accor Platinum Plus upgrade provided a room with a single bed, though we needed two separate beds. The second room had a smoke smell, so we had to change it again. Finally, we found a standard room, smoke-free and with two beds — exactly what we needed. The room was cozy, with a convenient desk for working on a laptop. The shower and toilet are separated by a wall, not glass as in some ibis hotels, which adds comfort. Breakfast was less appealing compared to my previous visit — not critical, but noticeable. The laksa remained at a good standard and is worth recommending. My friend, visiting Malaysia for the first time, enjoyed the flavors as well — solid quality, though not a “wow” experience. The hotel is centrally located and quiet. Service was fine, though occasionally I wished for a bit more attentiveness — perhaps due to high expectations of a hotel in Melaka’s center. A suggestion would be to expand the menu of local dishes. After all, Baba Nyonya cuisine is one of the main reasons to keep coming back to Melaka. Overall, ibis Melaka is convenient, functional, and reliable — a solid choice for a stay in the city center.

Reception area was very busy. There were a lot of bus trips. Breakfast was extremely busy. It seemed as though everyone was rushing to get breakfast before getting back on the bus. We didn’t enjoy our breakfast experience and opted not to have breakfast there on the second morning of our stay. Room was basic but had everything we needed. Location is great. Short walk to Dutch Square, Jonker Street and plenty of bars and restaurants. As platinum members of Accor we were not offered an upgraded room or any welcome gifts. No alcohol was provided for our 2 free drinks.

My family and I had a great time at Ibis Melaka hotel. Last year my boyfriend and I stayed here for couple of days so we decided to come back because Ibis Melaka is lovely place, right hotel to stay and enjoy Melaka. Professional, politely and friendly staff, housekeeping service is on high level (our rooms, all public areas were absolutely clean), great facilities like free parking, swimming pool, gym and e.t.c., good breakfast. I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Malacca for 1 night and it was a truly pleasant experience. The hotel's location is ideal, providing easy access to Malacca's main attractions. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, thanks to the welcoming service by an Indian lady at the front office. She made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. My room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and relaxing environment. The highlight of my stay was the exceptional service provided by Syahril at the lounge area. His service was very special, honest, friendly, and sincere. He went above and beyond to make my experience personalized, memorable, and pleasant. His dedication to ensuring a comfortable stay was evident in every interaction.

Good Location: We were within walking distance of Jonker Street, shopping centers, and local attractions. However, reaching them requires either crossing a wide, busy avenue or walking an extra 300 meters to pass under the viaduct. Clean Rooms: Our room was well-kept and comfortable, though not very spacious. Outstanding Service: The staff were friendly and attentive. For example, they allowed us to store ice packs for medication in the hotel’s freezer—a thoughtful gesture we appreciated. Great Breakfast & Amenities: We enjoyed a varied breakfast buffet in a comfortable setting. Complimentary secure parking and access to a pool and fitness center added to the convenience.

Last stayed in in 2014, after 11 years this is a massive upgrade. The renovated rooms are great, modern and functional. Internet did not disappoint, we connected a total of 5 devices and no one in the room complained. Breakfast was paid upfront during check in and it was a big spread and was enjoyable with variety to choose from. A big plus for us was that it was not crowded and we didn’t need to wait around for anything, it looks like the occupancy is low as my floor up on the 17 also was quiet. For that extra ‘something’ you can upgrade to the club floor benefits for RM$118 and allow 2 adults which serves breakfast and evening cocktails with a late checkout till 2pm. We stayed in the family room with a king bed and twin, space was well thought off and although some of the fixtures are from the days of old, there is also new furnitures that makes up for the comfort. Head out for meals as Melaka is famed for its food, of course if you are lazy and prefer to camp in, the hotel has good dining options available. A special shout out to Night DM Kathiravan. He is a great asset to the Holiday Inn Melaka team.

Busy hotel with daily turnarounds. Room good size and what you would expect from HI. Clean, good room servicing. Shuttle bus takes you to centre and it’s a 15 minute walk so worth catching but reserve at reception beforehand. Restaurant OK but uninspiring and often no one to serve at bar. Lovely large pool and could see from our room whether it was busy or not so managed to have it to ourselves on occasion. Downside of this hotel was the breakfast. It wasn’t replenished very well and focussed mainly on Asian breakfast. Fruit ran out daily, bread was not great and even hot water for tea ran out. This wouldn’t have been so bad but it was busy so difficult to get attention from staff. As milk intolerant only cows milk available so managed to buy alternative in town which kept in room. No mini bar in room - empty fridge but water, tea and coffee replenished daily

- The staff is great. Very friendly peoples. Of course it was a very small room, but i got that what i paid for! 10 Euro per night is very cheap. The room had a Queenbed (very comfortable), a small toilett & Shower, but no window. The location is good, only 5mins walking to the Jonker Street. If you want a fancy cheap hotel where you can stay the whole day on it, this one is not for you! If you only need a place to sleep, this one is for you! PS : Best WIFI i had so far in Malaysia! Beside is a Laundryshop, belongs to the Hotel.

This hotel is located within walking distance to nearly 70% of Bandaraya Melaka's main attractions - 80% if you have strong legs and lots of stamina. Lots of places to explore around the hotel and beyond. It has 4 storeys and there's a lift, but the lift is tiny, can't fit wheelchairs and moves slow. Somewhat unnerving. If you have anxiety, take the stairs instead. There's a laundry and massage parlour right beside the hotel. If you want to eat, there are famous restaurants in front of it and its surroundings. Each floor has water dispenser and iron set installed. You need coupons for all-day parking; the city council charges parking on weekends. Not sure if the hotel sells coupons; we got ours somewhere else. Don't use parking apps; they're unreliable. Need money? The bank is on the same road where the hotel is. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. Rooms are pretty cheap too. No pictures of hotel though; totally forgot to take them 😂 Overall enjoyed our stay. 10/10.

My room (226) was facing a parking lot but still had river-view. Kettle with coffee/tea provided. In the room offer breakfast was included, and it was amazing. Freshly cooked omelette, a few choices with noodles, chicken sausages, toast. Very good, quiet location near the river.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean and quiet, which made it easy to relax after a day of exploring the city. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I slept really well each night. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Before my arrival, the hotel sent me a kind message with useful information about nearby attractions and tips for getting around, which I really appreciated. The location was great – just a short walking distance to many popular sights. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, offering a good selection of both hot and cold options. There was also a 7-Eleven and a grocery store right next to the hotel, which was very convenient. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located place to stay.

The location is great for being able to walk to many of the tourist attractions and very close to the river that you can follow. The view over the river and the shore building was great, especially at night. The room was big enough and comfortable and had a mini fridge. The staff was nice and friendly. The breakfast has a good choice and the chef prepares fresh eggs. We had to use the microwave to heat up some of the food though. We actually ended up extending another 2 nights and would definitely recommend.

The room is pretty clean, spacious for 2. Breakfast is decent if you just wanna fill up the tummy. Staff at breakfast cafe is friendly and always put on smile. Location is very convenient to go around Malacca. They consistently clean up the room whenever we are away, lovin that the most!

The food was fresh, and the selection catered to different tastes, making it a great option for those breaking their fast during Ramadan. The hotel's location is excellent, situated in the city centre and near the river. This made it convenient to explore the surrounding area, with easy access to places of interests, dining, and other attractions. For those driving, parking was hassle-free, with plenty of available spaces, adding to the overall convenience. The only downside was the elevator, which was not smooth and shaky. While this was a minor inconvenience, it is an area the hotel could improve. Overall, this hotel provides a comfortable and convenient stay, with clean rooms, good food, and an ideal location. I would recommend it to both business and leisure travellers, especially those looking for an affordable yet well-maintained accommodation.

We spent our son's post-birthday here. The staff are welcoming, and check-in was smooth. Our room was clean, spacious and so comfortable. The hotel is newly renovated. The large bed is really fit for us with 2 children. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of delicious options. We had an amazing time! Excellent value for money. We will definitely return.
