Everything was perfect starting out with friendly staff that greeted you with champagne at check in. The hotel had cool vibes, a great bar with fun drinks and music, delicious room service, easy parking, comfortable beds, easy to walk to restaurants, bars, and Fiserv Forum. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The in room record player was a nice touch. Coffee and water on each floor so you are not limited to how much you can have was a great addition for a coffee lover. And the art! Amazing experience all around.

Parking and check in were seamless, we were offered a glass of bubbly upon arrival and a gorgeous view are just some of the initial impressions. What a beautiful hotel! The art installations are such a fun addition to enjoy! My husband and I booked a room to stay in Milwaukee overnight to catch a concert. I loved listening to jazz on vinyl on our in suite turn table! So retro and cool! We had a wonderful neopolitain pizza and craft cocktail before our show at The Bar on site while listening to live jazz. The room was quiet and comfy, the shower was hot and modern and great coffee or tea are always available. Guest services checked in with us and helped troubleshoot the Bluetooth speaker system, very appreciated. We will be back again and again. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable overnight! Jen J

We stayed at Saint Kate while attending an event at the Pabst Theater, and the location couldn’t have been more convenient—there’s even an indoor connection. The hotel is within easy walking distance of great restaurants, the Riverwalk, the Public Market, and several entertainment venues. The bar has a lively atmosphere with excellent live music, which added a fun touch to our stay. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff was consistently friendly and helpful. Overall, a fantastic spot for both events and exploring downtown Milwaukee!

Great location, fun hotel, clean. Great location to the river and restaurants. You can walk to all kinds go great bars, markets. Close to the water. The hotel staff is very attentive and friendly. Rooms are clean tidy and modern. Milwaukee is a great city to spend a weekend!

I wasn't a Hotel guest...this time, but will definitely stay here on my next overnight in Milwaukee! I walked in to grab a slice next door before a show and discovered this chic boutique hotel in the arts district near the river walk, directly across from the Marcus Performing Arts Center. The artsy lounge has a large wraparound bar with intimate and larger group seating areas with velvety colorful sofas and chairs, live music and large windows with city views. A friendly cocktail server immediately stopped over to ask if I needed anything and I appreciated the prompt, friendly service and great selection of cocktails and bar food available. To my surprise there was a fabulous art gallery just behind me! This was the best surprise of the evening and I will definitely go back soon!

Great location with great benefits such as free hot breakfast every morning and free drinks and food every evening. Other amenities we enjoyed was the fitness center, pool, and jacuzzi.

The staff were very helpful and polite, pool/jacuzzi area was nice. My room was very nice and clean. Very quiet. Great view. I would like for them to update their televisions to have more streaming apps like Netflix, YouTube or Hulu, but that is just my personal preference. I had a wonderful experience and awesome stay!

The location is perfect for walking to the lake, the river walk, restaurants, theater, the third ward, and the Art Museum. The parking lot is nice to have directly connected to the hotel elevators' bank. The room and common areas were clean and comfortable. Despite having a room very close to the elevator, we could not hear any sounds from neighboring rooms or the hallway. The only noise we heard was motorcycles, for a good part of the late evening, driving down the street below our 7th floor room. Maybe a good reason to stay on a higher floor. The staff was always smiling, friendly and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised by the nice breakfast buffet and happy-hour drinks and dinner buffet that was included in our stay– great variety of tasty food– and there was lots of clean, open seating available, despite the hotel crowd that congregated there. Felt very homey. Nice to have 24-hour coffee available, and it was always hot and fresh. We'll be back the next time we stay in Milwaukee!

Clean, comfortable hotel with helpful, friendly, professional staff. We were pleasantly surprised by how good the complimentary breakfast was -- eggs with chives, fresh salsa, fruit compote, french toast. The area surrounding this hotel is great for walking with cool old brewery buildings. Felt safe and lots of restaurants nearby.

Quick and easy check in, even though super busy, the valets were quick, efficient and pleasant, rooms are very spacious and extremely clean with very comfortable beds, the little lounge makes tasty drinks, and the simple menu of food has variety, tasted great, and great value. I had a delicious burger with cheddar, lettuce, tomato, on a brioche bun with fries for 12.00. This hotel is THE most convenient when attending an event at the Fiserv Forum - a straight 6 minute total walk with an entrance as soon as you get to Fiserv. Nice late check-out of noon is great. Nice breakfast with usual options in a comfortable dining area. Good value over all!

I loved my stay here. the location is great. right by the arena and lots of restaurants/bars. parking was available at all times during my stay for free. the staff were very helpful. breakfast was great. the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. will definitely keep this as my go to

Stunning building and atmosphere. All of the employees were very kind. The hotel room was perfect. We used the jacuzzi at least 5 times during our stay! Ordered room service Friday night, the food was great! Had brunch with Santa on Sunday which was super fun. There is so much nearby to do. We went to Five Below- fun mini putting. Visited the Harley Davidson Museum, spent some time at the Potawatomi Casino. Drove and walked around town. Highly, highly, highly recommend!!

While we were in town for a wedding, the temps were in the single digits and we opted to spend more time in this nice warm hotel instead of going out sightseeing. The hotel is lovely, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff is friendly, pleasant and helpful. We ate in each of the restaurants and all food was delicious. The bed was also very comfortable. We enjoyed the decor and everything throughout the hotel was very clean. The parking charge was more reasonable than other downtown hotels I looked at and we were able to park in a garage rather than outside. There are two things that you will want to be aware of when deciding to book this hotel. First, as others have noted, the bathroom is very small with an almost child sized toilet because that is all that would fit in the space. This hotel was built in the 1920's and the bathrooms were not as large as they are now. Second, the neighborhood is not one you will want to walk around in after dark, but it IS downtown and they have a homeless problem as many cities do. Overall this was a comfortable and very pleasant place to stay and we would definitely stay there again if we find ourselves in Milwaukee.

Check out the Cafe in the morning for breakfast. And if you time it right, the bar will open and you can ask the bartender to make you a mimosa. If you're hungry in the evening, the bar also has great food. I love this hotel. The rooms are spacious and include a Kuerig coffee maker and if you bring your own Kuerig coffee pods, the coffee will be even more enjoyable.

The hotel was clean with a unique and pleasant art deco style and flair. The hotel staff was very friendly and hospitable. We did not eat at the restaurant but we did enjoy a couple of drinks at the small bar in the hotel. It was a great little spot for a drink before going out or for an Early night cap. The parking garage was convenient and clean as well. The shuttle was an exceptional service we have not found many places. It made up for not being the most convenient location in terms of walking distances to the downtown area or the Brewers ballpark. The immediate neighborhood around the hotel is lower income but we did not feel that unsafe or uncomfortable during the daylight. We did not chance it not being familiar with the neighborhood at night so we relied on the shuttle in those instances.

Andy was amazing, a friendly welcome and fast check in, explained all about the bar/restaurant etc. I was so tired after doing orientation with my daughter @MU, I called the front desk to see if there was room service. Not only did Andy come to my room and take my order, he also delivered my food to my room. That to me was such a selfless, amazing act of kindness and not at all part of his job. I'm sure he gets so many compliments but I just wanted to let you know what an amazing employee you have. Connie was so friendly during checkout, asking if everything was ok during my stay. She also made my return reservation for parents weekend in September, offering me the "Marquette discount" which was so sweet of her. I will be returning to your hotel for each and every stay over the next 4 years. The minute I walked into the hotel I loved the style and feel of the place, the old style was beautiful and the fact that there's a Starbucks was also an added bonus.

Excellent accommodation when flying in or out of General Mitchell International Airport. 24 hour reception staff were able to check me in after I arrived on a very early morning flight at 2am. Very helpful and friendly staff on the two occasions I stayed when visiting Wisconsin. Car parking directly outside and free of charge. Large, quiet and well-appointed executive rooms. Big, comfortable beds. Inside heated pool and jacuzzi. Free hotel shuttle to airport. Pleasant and well serviced bar and restaurant. Small shop next to reception also onsite.

Nice hotel very close to MKE airport and MKE Amtrak. Quick stay, no issues. Friendly staff, especially in the bar/restaurant. Rooms are nice with small refrigerator, Keurig, microwave and good work area and internet. Was quiet and comfortable while I was here. Free coffee in the lobby. Breakfast Buffet limited, but OK ($15). Excellent and fast shuttle service to airport/train. Pool. Exercise Room. Big Comfortable lobby area.

The service was amazing from the front desk, shuttle driver, to the bar/restaurant. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Price was great. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Also. is a great perk to be a Hilton Honors member.

This hotel is very close to the Milwaukee Airport. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were veery clean and comfortable. We opted for breakfast and it was delicious. We scheduled an airport transfer for the next morning which was very convenient.

I don't usually like to stay at "airport hotels" because they're not always the best... however, I would stay here again in a heartbeat! The front desk and restaurant staff were SO friendly. The restaurant food (dinner) was absolutely the best I've ever had at a hotel (you've gotta try the cheese curds and the red sangria!). The shuttle was easy and quick. The room was clean and comfortable.

We stayed at this location for two nights while attending a wedding. The property was very clean and well maintained, and has a large parking lot. It’s conveniently located near the main highway and it’s right across the street from the Wisconsin State Fair Park. The staff was very friendly and helpful to us. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean and in proper working order. The complimentary breakfast had a good selection and the staff was very accommodating. We were very pleased with our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again.

My check in was very pleasurable. The gal at the desk was engaging and polite. All staff I had interaction with were friendly and accommodating. The bar/restaurant connected to the hotel was very convenient and the food was good. Complimentary breakfast was also very satisfactory. The room was clean, well maintained, and comfortable. 6 minutes from ballpark. Clean. Felt safe. Stayed alone 3 dyas with no problems. Amazing breakfast each day. Friendly workers. Nice shower with good pressure. Love the soaps/lotions/shampoo/conditioner. Comfortable bed - chair in room to lounge. Only issue was the parking lot - if you go down a row & theres no spots you have to bavk up out of that row - McDonald's is next door so you cant thru the parking lot. It's well lit just hard if you dont find a spot in the row you went down.

The breakfast was delicious and was served in a very comfortable area, perfect for our family to visit. The bar served an amazing pizza that evening. Service at the desk was prompt and friendly.

We only stayed for one night at the Trade but will definitely stay again while in Milwaukee. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful. Lobby was clean, modern and inviting. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable and the amenities in the bathroom were nice as well. They have several bars/restaurants within the Trade with a variety for all price points. We had brunch at Il Cervo and it was delicious.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Trade and we would return again. The hotel is absolutely beautiful with plenty of social options like restaurants and bars. The location is fantastic if you are seeing a game or a show at the Fiserv Forum, as is very walkable to lots of entertainment options in the "Deer District". Our room was decorated and nicely appointed, and the bed was comfortable. The only issue we had was our coffee maker was not working properly and leaked water everywhere. I called the front desk to report this, and the reception was very positive, and I was given a hotel credit to get coffee at one of their restaurants which I appreciated. We ordered room service for breakfast, and this was delivered timely. Valet was very convenient and worth the expense too.

Lovely hotel, spotless and in a good location. The bed was super comfy, best I have slept in for a long time. Perhaps a combination of the mattress, sheets and pillows, but I just wanted to mention it as it was super comfy. I also like the bar area on the ground floor, it was super social and the bar tender was very attentive and knowledgable.

I loved the location. I did not drive, so could not comment on parking. Beautiful view of fiserv. Close to the music venue I attended and other good restaurants and breweries. Friendly staff, I felt very welcome. I liked the elevators required your card to get to your room. The rooms had good dampening of noise from the street and other room. The rooms had an elegant modern rustic feel. The room was very spacious with very high ceiling (looked to be over 10 feet). beautiful. The cleaning service people were very nice.

We stayed at The Trade mainly because it is directly across from FISERV Forum, as we had tickets to see Nate Bargatze. We were pleasantly surprised at how cool the hotel was— loved the decor, the nod to workers, the restaurants, and the room. Loved the design and appointments in the very clean room, and LOVED the bed, comfy pillows, and soft sheets. We slept better than we have in months. Great staff - friendly and helpful. We would stay there again next time we are in Milwaukee (we live 2 hours away).

Everyone we were in contact with was exceptional and friendly. Our room was lovely and very clean, and included a mini fridge and comfortable seating. Lovely, spatious bathroom. Eco friendly...they had a bin in the room for recycling. The rooftop bar area was beautiful, with excellent service and drinks. We were given a special surprise for our anniversary. Location was perfect...close to all the restaurants of the Third Ward, close proximity to the highway and we easily walked down to the lakefront.

Location was perfect. Downstairs coffee/cafe was convenient and tasty. Sitting/relaxation areas were luxurious and pleasant. Restaurant and rooftop bar were fun and served quality product.

We loved our time here although we would have paid for an upgraded view. The Historic Third Precinct is a beautiful place, the River Walk was delightful. The restaurant and bar in the hotel were fabulous. We have stayed at a couple other Kimptons in Denver, Colorado and this hotel was a bit more welcoming and did not nickel and dime you. We sat in the roof top bar and watched Monday Night Football, an experience in itself. Kimpton does a great job with their architecture and interior design. There are less expensive hotels near the airport, but you can easily catch the train to Chicago from here.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at the Journeyman. The hotel is stylish, relaxing, clean and in a great walkable location. The beds are cozy, and room was quiet and comfortable.

We arrived @2:30 or so and were told our room would be ready in 30 minutes. We checked back @3:30 and it still was not ready - we finally were able to check in @4:30. We waited up at the rooftop bar which was very nice with great service. Hotel is in a great location - walkable to many restaurants, bars, the river, the lake, etc. Room was nice and clean and comfortable, but still not sure why it was priced at over $400 as it was not anything special really.

The four days I spent at Holiday Inn were amazing. The breakfast was wonderful the front desk, Carlos the manager and the beautiful young lady at front desk in the morning were all amazing. I was very satisfied with my stay. The valet service was fast and efficient. The morning shift alex the valet driver was amazing quick and profession with getting my vehicle and was very nice. The three second shift valet I dealt with while staying at the hotel for the names. I do remember one of them started with a Z another one name was Simon if I’m not wrong Eugene now the first two I named Z and Simon. For the first two days, they were moving a bit sluggish but was friendly and helpful even gave me directions to the closest bars or restaurants Eugene he’s not a bad valet he is friendly, but I feel like he be trying too hard to try and get a tip and it made me feel a little uncomfortable but other than that my overall experience was 10 out of 10

The staff is very cheerful and helpful. When we couldn't get onto WiFi, she helped us and to get streaming, but the hotel had no connecting wire. The breakfast was good. You could have coffee whenever you wanted and sit at the tables with your takeout. The bed was very comfortable, and the pillows were perfect. Even the Chaise Longe in our room was very comfortable.

Excellent location! Less than a 10 minute walk to the Public Market in the Historic Third District and a 15 minute walk to The Brat House bar beside the Bucs arena. The Brat House is a bar amongst others on LMKing that provides free shuttles to Brewers games. Hotel had an excellent complimentary breakfast with coffee, eggs, cereal, hot cakes and so on. The hotel was a fraction of the price compared to others. I would stay here again! Comfy beds and quiet.

Nice, unpretentious lodgings. Comfortable, clean, ample room; comfortable bed; good breakfast; pleasant staff. Convenient location relative to other hotels in the area (was attending a wedding, with relatives spread out hither & thither); very convenient also to Greenline dedicated bus to & from airport.

My room was surprisingly large, very clean, and exceptionally comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious, new, and had a beautiful glass door shower stall. Plus, every person I ran into at the front desk (and the breakfast attendant!) was super friendly.

Everything was wonderful! King sized bed, comfortable, soft cozy sheets, pillows, comforter. Coffee/tea/wine/soda/beer right down the hall. $ donations requested for wine/beer to replenish for other guests. Fireplace and nice sitting area in room. Heating/AC worked well. Bathroom-spotless, nice flooring, shower is amazing. Spouts of water coming out of the walls all over. A spa like experience. Soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were all provided and smelled good. Robes included for during the stay. Fluffy thick towels provided. TV on the wall above a desk. Door to suite locked securely, and main door to get in was also very secure. We felt 100% safe. Didnt get to enjoy the patio, only because we didnt have time, but it looked beautiful, tables and chairs in a pretty courtyard. Right across the street from the lake, walking/biking paths. Great location. Parking lot big and across non busy street from building. Breakfast served outside our room promptly at 845 as we requested. Delicious breakfast sandwich, fried potatoes, fruit assortment, sweet pastry, yogurt and granola. Good amount of food and all very good. Rooms are on 2nd floor, no elevator but wide stairs and easy walk up to 2nd floor. We loved everything about our stay. The only change we'd make is staying longer. Clean, cozy, good food, lovely decor, all the extras like the keurig coffee down hall and wine,wonderful shower,yummy breakfast. Definitely recommend to anyone staying in or near Cudahy

This property is a must stay when visiting Milwaukee! A quality bed and breakfast experience enhanced by a quiet and clean room with several amenities. Upgrades are modern but still maintains a historic charm. The breakfast served to your room was fresh and amazing! The property has plenty of free parking and is located within walking distance to a lakefront park and several local bars and restaurants. Check in and out were simple. I will be staying here again when in town!

Overall it was fine. But their breakfast hours are very strict. I had a meeting at 8:30 am I requested a breakfast at 7:30 it was not possible. Next day they expected to give me again breakfast hours. They don’t have any place to have breakfast. I stayed B&B in other places never had to have my breakfast at my room. Breakfast is fine but it came for one person. They told me that Expedia reserved for one person. Whereas when I checked my reservation at Expedia it was for 2 persons. When I reserve with Expedia usually my correspondence is minimal with the hotel. But they kept on sending emails asking my ID, Address etc. overall it was very clean, quiet B&B. Their shower was outstanding. I am not sure if I would stay there again. It can be fine if you are on vacation but not for business trip in my judgment.

This little hotel is very nice. Spacious bathroom, with luxury shower and fixtures. Very nice bubble tub. Quiet. Very comfortable. The only thing missing is a coffee pot and microwave. We brought our own small coffee pot. There is a small "community" refrigerator in the hall. This is a nice hotel, particularly at this price.

So charming, clean, spacious and quiet. It is in a quiet neighborhood and is beautiful inside and out. All the details have been tended to. The beds were very comfortable, staff friendly and location is fantastic. Breakfast was so good too

Our room was very spacious and clean. We were next to the elevator which was a little noisy. Pool was wonderful. We asked for pool towels and they arrived quickly. Breakfast was delicious! We had to wait quite a while for coffee, but otherwise very nice! We thought it had a bar, but it does not. Lounge area was good. I hope we get a chance to return to this hotel.

The suite was very spacious, well fitted with kitchen supplies. Appreciated all the towels, window covering options, in shower wall mounted personal hygiene products.Breakfasts were wonderful with many choices. I came down to breakfast towards the end and they still replenished some food for me. My only complaint was not getting exact room floor request. I have never understood making a reservation and then the room is assigned with what is available when you arrive. We did get room type and placement of room which was good. My Hilton membership number was not on file. I thought it was still asked for at time of Expedia reservation but perhaps not. We added another night and staff was very accommodating. All rooms were pet friendly and they had a pet area with poop bags and disposal area. Be aware there is construction going on next door that stsrts Would definitely stay again.

Wheelchair accessible room with 2 queen beds and a bathtub (512) was great! (see photos) The room is huge! It has a full sized refrigerator, kitchenware, a table, pull out couch/bed, and comfortable beds. Everything is new and very nice. Front desk folks have been wonderful. There's a (small) saltwater pool, fitness center, and washers/dryers that cost .50 to wash and .50 to dry. There's free parking and breakfast. I didn't check out the breakfast. I wasn't planning to stay at a hotel in West Allis (we were forced to switch hotels at the last minute), but it is easy to get to I-94 from here. It's close to restaurants too. I would recommend Antigua for Latin American food. This is actually a pretty great location. I would definitely stay here again.

Love the Home 2 brand, functional set up of the rooms, clean and comfortable with everything I need! All the staff was friendly and helpful, especially Mark at the front desk in the evening, gave me great advice to enjoy discovering Milwaukee: visiting McKinley Marina walking along the lake, dinner at Public Market at St Paul’s fish Camp, finding the Bronze Fonz on the riverwalk! Such a great experience!

My husband was at Froedert Hospital for a kidney transplant when I found this very clean and comfortable hotel. Wonderful facility for extended stay, nicely appointed room, laundry facilities, great breakfast, nice outdoor areas and very helpful staff. Clean rooms. The manager Stacey was SUPER.

Service was OUTSTANDING! Flo checked us in and she was so welcoming! We chatted and she made sure to give us a room away from elevators and ended up putting us in a prime location. She’s a huge asset to Hyatt as she was our first impression of the hotel. Valet was quick and professional. Bell services JR was just above and beyond. So friendly, so knowledgeable of the area, and very helpful. At the end of the night we had a late cocktail at the Julep bar (included in our stay) and our bartender was outstanding (Cody? Ugh I cannot remember but he was so great). I explained I didn’t know what I wanted to drink and like martinis but didn’t want anything too sweet or definitely not dry. He asked me what my favorite fruits were and asked “Do you trust me?” I said, go for it! He made me one of the best drinks I’ve ever had; I wish I knew what was in it! He even layered it! The rooms are dated. That’s the truth. However, we didn’t spend much time in there and the outstanding staff in every area we encountered overcame anything the room lacked. It’s also a great location. We walked a couple blocks to a bar with free shuttles to the brewers game, some great restaurants and other bars as well. It was enough that despite the rooms (which I hope they remodel because there is so much potential) we would stay here again.

We had a great stay at this hotel! Everyone from the front desk, to Paul in Sales, the bellman, the valet and Housekeeping Supervisor, were all so friendly! It was amazing that on on a one night stay, I was able to interact with so many people, but they all went out of their way to engage which was so nice. We had 3 rooms and all of them were incredibly clean with nice views of the city, especially at night. We had cocktails at the lobby bar and they were made well after a long day at the baseball game. Starbucks attached in the lobby which is great for the next morning. Great location to Milwaukee destinations - we weren't far away from either the baseball stadium or the zoo plus plenty of dining and bar options right around. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a very good hotel with spacious rooms that have comfortable beds. Check-in and check out were easy and the staff could not be more helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is in a great location to explore Milwaukee on foot or via short taxi rides. The downstairs foyer has a restaurant for breakfast and the bar, Julep, is comfortable and the staff amiable.

The rooms are a little older and could use some updating. ( more USB Ports). The old school tubs & toilet need to be updated. But the room was large, comfortable and had REAL drawers and closets and a full size ironing board like a good corporate hotel should. The service was typical Hyatt Regency. Outstanding. From the bellmen to the front desk, to the servers in Bistro 333 to the outstanding head bartender in the lobby bar. First class. I will definitely be staying at this property when I come back. One other thing. Milwaukee downtown is clean, safe and full of great bars, theatres, sports arenas and restaurants. The Harley Museum is a must see. And if you don’t try cheese curds or a real Milwaukee Brat while you are there, you are missing out.

Our family came to town to enjoy some Oktoberfest activities, and stayed downtown. Close to bars, restaurants and the Bucks stadium. Took a stroll along the Riverwalk, which was one block away. Very friendly and helpful staff and a fun bar on Friday night! Thanks to the GM Mat Meadows who made sure we had a great stay. We would come back?

We loved our stay! Our only complaint is that we only stayed one night. Upon arrival, we were greeted by warm & welcoming staff. The lobby area is spacious, clean and modern. And our room was super new, very very clean, with a modern design, great layout, kitchen, USB ports galore, and a big smart TV. And no issues with the free wifi, which is rare. The location was very conveniently located by the expressway, and an Ikea, yet felt tucked away in an area populated by trees. The hotel is well insulated from noise, didn't hear a peep. Parking is free, as is a hot breakfast. You can buy packaged/frozen food and drinks for the room in the lobby, or order food and cocktails at the bar. ZERO complaints. And really, really well-priced for such a modern, well-designed, clean hotel with full-amenities. Great hotel!!!

First, when we checked in Kaziah (sp) was working the front desk, she was very welcoming, professional and courteous to us as she checked us in. When we reached the room, my daughter and I found our suite to be very clean and our room and the hotel itself quiet both day and at night (cleanliness and quiet, my two paramount concerns with hotels). Since we were from out of town we asked Kaziah about nearby restaurants for dinner and before we left for our evening out she caught us and gave us a print out of local nearby restaurants, there are multiple restaurants that are all close to the hotel. I'd easily recommend staying at this hotel, clean, quiet and close to restaurants and cafes.

Hotel facilities were clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was delicious and property has a bar on sight where you can also grab some food. Breakfast area was large and there was a nice patio outside. The gym was outstanding and clean with several equipment options. We did not try out the pool but could see it from the gym. It looked clean and nice. The area around the hotel was calm. We felt safe and comfortable during our stay.

We have stayed at this hotel a couple times now and think it's a great value. It's within 12m of downtown, so a great option if you don't want to pay nearly double when factoring in parking. The hotel is very clean (and feels very new still) - halls are very well lit and wide, it has two elevators and external access from three sides of the hotel. There is plenty of parking with a well lit lot. The overall area is nice (seems very safe) and while closer to highway, no car/highway noise. Breakfast is free and standard fare. There is also a separate bar/restaurant (Bar East) which is quite good. Service was excellent, from front desk, to maid service, to breakfast and restaurant crew. Overall, we'd stay here again if in the area!

This hotel is clearly new (even still has the ‘new car’ smell) — but we had a truly awesome stay here! The kitchen area was more well stocked than some vbros I’ve stayed at and the room was full of conveniences (auto turn on light in the bathroom, fluffy towels and hooks in perfect places.). The couch in the room was solid and comfortable and the lights were conveniently placed throughout the suite. Felt more like I was staying at a spa than a hotel, honestly. The workout room was better appointed than most — was large and include top rate equipment, mats, towels, water cooler and antibacterial wipes. The staff was polite — and the housekeeping staff was on top of everything! They clearly take pride in their job and work well together. The hotel breakfast changed daily, was kept clean and the hours are extended until 10, which was also nice. I didn’t love the scrambled eggs, but otherwise the breakfast was definitely a step or two above usual hotel breakfast fare. The hotel is also kept super, super clean during my entire stay — it it was busy the entire time I was there! I didn’t use the shuttle, but the driver was delightful when I ran into him in the lobby. Stay here… you won’t regret it!

Exceeded expectations! Outstanding stay with attentive staff, clean shower, clean and fresh bed, and seemingly newly renovated and classy spaces. Nice safe pool space. Great hot breakfast with variety! Coffee and bagged tea available all day and night fresh in the lobby. Friendly staff! We just had an overnight stay while doing a quick trip from out of town, and we would stay here again. Only downside at all was that the shower head was a low flow experience.

Kind & welcoming staff, clean & quiet room, delicious hot breakfast (my kids loved the made-to-order pancake machine!), free parking & WiFi, feels safe. We’re here for a figure skating competition, so we’re up early and need to go to bed early. Staff was so kind to help us find an extra quiet floor and room.

All staff were friendly and helpful! Whole hotel is spotlessly clean! Breakfast is the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. It was so hot and fresh, and a great variety! Rooms are comfortable and spacious. This will be our new go-to place to stay in Brookfield! Thank you for a great weekend after we had to scramble for last minute accommodations! We will be back!

The room was spacious and well-appointed. I particularly appreciated the in-room safe, mini-fridge and microwave. The bed was super comfy with big soft pillows. The breakfast buffet was delicious with all my favorites. The fitness center and swimming pool were an added bonus for my stay. In addition, the staff members were all very helpful and pleasant.

I redeemed my credit card free night to stay at this hotel during our family visit to Milwaukee. Our whole family really enjoyed our stay. The 2-queen bed room is spacious and clean. It is also really quite (we were assigned to a room that is facing the highway) and heard zero hwy noise during our stay. The breakfast is awesome - the best we ever had among our pandemic hotel stays. It offered hot food, scrambled eggs and sausage, in addition to milk, fruits, etc. The front desk personals are professional and greeted us every time we go through the front door. They were also patient to help when I asked to double check my free night redeem status. The location of this hotel is perfect - in a nice and safe neighborhood, close to highway, and has ample free parking. If coming back to town, we will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Upon arriving, we noticed immediately how clean the outside of the building was and barely any spiderwebs. Inside was very clean. The corridors, room and bathroom was very clean. Bed very comfortable and the blackout curtains were perfect for a great nights sleep. Our room was spacious and one of the best we have stayed in. The outdoor sitting area was very nice and too bad it was raining, otherwise we would have sat in it.

Bargain! Very clean, quiet, super nice hotel tucked in a quiet corner but near lots of shopping and food choices. Free, ample parking. Good breakfast. Public lounge area super nice. Pool looked clean and inviting. Short drive to the Wilson Center for a show. Try BJ's restaurant and lounge...great food and open til midnight for a bite after the show. This hotel is Super nice for the price!

Great news place to visit with family and friends. Location was convenient to restaurants and shopping. Clean and quiet facility with an amazing staff. Room was large and spacious with plenty of room for our children. We will be back again soon!

Comfort and cleanliness of the room. The Price was very fair. The COFFEE at breakfast was amazing!!! That should go in the description, Starbucks coffee for breakfast! The front office was always there and very helpful when we needed to get a remote (there wasn't one in the room).

Old world elegance steeped in Milwaukee history. I came early, and checked my bag with the friendliest bellman, The amazing front desk staff allowed me to check in early and alerted me through text when my room was ready while I sat in the great on premise Sports bar, Miller time. The amazing Hailey even helped me book my next stay here in a month. My room was big and super clean. It was flooded with natural light. Super comfortable king sized bed and a big clean bathroom shower stocked with Crabtree and Evelyn. The parking is super convenient.. I love my stays at Hilton City Center and will be back!!

Lovely old hotel, recently refurbished. Clean, comfortable and very welcoming. Two highlights - they are dog friendly and have an outstanding courtyard, fully enclosed, with Adirondack chairs to relax in while our pup played outside. Very convenient for late night potty breaks for him. So unusual to find a hotel in a downtown area with so much greenspace... well done! The second highlight is an exceptional member of the hotel's engineering team - Reuben. We were having trouble with our television and he was a terrific help, even to the point of bringing a new TV up to our room. Professional, competent, courteous and a darn nice person! Reuben is a great ambassador for the Hilton brand! I would certainly stay here again.

A very nice, comfortable, clean stay in downtown Milwaukee. We were greeting pleasantly and efficiently upon arrival, the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is quiet and in a secure feeling area. The old is an older grand style decor very well maintained and clean. Everything about our stay was smooth and comforting.

The room was spacious and very nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable to sleep on. I got excellent rest. Service was always attentive and with a smile. The hotel has two excellent restaurants. One is Miller Time Pub, with great pub food available til late at night. The other is a formal restaurant -- the ChopHouse -- with an fine menu, wonderful wines and very fine chefs. I give very high ratings to this hotel as a good place to stay. Finally, the location is very convenient for anyone using Amtrak or looking for a hotel with good amenities and shopping around it.

I’m glad I didn’t trust all the bad reviews. I’m actually sitting in the room writing this review. We arrived on a Friday night around 430. At the time when we checked in, there was no wait for checkin. My spouse and dog waited in the car while I checked in and we parked next to the hotel in the ramp. The ramp is connected via elevator to the hotel. Checkin was smooth and easy. We have our golden retriever with us and she is working on exposure training so this was a big step for her. Minus the man who wrangles the 2 dogs here, she has had a great experience. There are 2 resident dogs that he had to keep away from her bc this was “their space” as he called it. I’m not sure why there are dogs here and dogs are welcome if they cannot greet each other. I found that strange. The room was clean. Spacious. We were tucked back in a corner and it was SO QUIET. It was perfect for us. Only thing that sucked was the drink prices in the lounge. $18 for a Tito’s and Soda is OUTRAGEOUS. Go to the pub instead, they’re only $10. The food at the pub was delicious and the service was great. The service at the lounge for my 2 $18 cocktails was also subpar. It took 15 minutes to get 2 drinks and there was only 1 couple waiting before me. Other than that, the stay had been fantastic. Reminds me of a hotel in Chicago. Considering they were the cheapest this weekend, I’m glad we ended up here!

A pleasant four-night stay in this clean and quiet hotel that we used as a base for exploring parts of Wisconsin. Very impressed with the staffing levels, from housekeeping to front desk to breakfast attendant. Our “suite,” which consisted of a sofa bed in addition to the usual room furniture, was roomy with good beds and lighting, plenty of plugs for chargers, etc. and great drainage in the bathroom (though the low-flow shower head is a pain). My wife, who enjoys swimming, loved the well-maintained pool and hot tub. The location is right off the interstate and a short drive to the airport and downtown. A shoutout to Regina at the front desk, who was extremely helpful when we used the copying and fax equipment in the lobby. Any issues we had with the hotel were minor – a sticky bathroom door and an adequate but unexciting breakfast (though the attendant did a fine job refreshing the breakfast items and keeping the dining room clean. Overall, high marks and satisfaction with the pricing. This is a good place to consider.

Friendly and helpful staff. Second time staying here. Both times amazing. Rooms are spacious and perfect for my kids and I. The pool and hot tub were very nice. Everything looked clean. Convenient location and only 5 minutes from the airport where i had to pick up one of my kids from. Definitely will continue to stay here when in the area.

My husband & I stayed at this location recenlty and had a very positive experience. We were picked up from a complementary shuttle from the airport. The desk person at the hotel called us to be sure were picked up promptly. The driver was very friendly and kind. The hotel allowed us to check in early which was the biggest blessing after we flew all nite and were exhausted. The complementary breakfast was very yummy and fresh. There was so much variety to choose from and the service was excellent. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The only thing that was unpleasant was that the fire alarm went off twice triggering the fire department and that was somewhat unsettling but at least we were safe. We were very grateful that there were many restaurants nearby for our convenience. Thank you for a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this Comfort Suites. I thought the price was very reasonable for a very nice room which is cleaned daily, unlike other Comfort Suites that don’t clean unless you ask to be clean. The breakfast was above average. Praise to the breakfast manager for keeping a good supply of food with such a large crowd. They have real bacon, pre-cooked fried eggs that are much tastier than the watery scrambled eggs at some of the other hotels . They also had oatmeal with walnuts, cranberries, and other toppings. I can’t have dairy; so, I had to put water in my oatmeal, and it was still good. The staff was very helpful. The lobby, halls and elevators all remained clean, even though there were three large groups with a lot of kids staying at the hotel. We had a very restful sleep and were not bothered by that fact.

The knickerbocker on the Lake is venerably old and is a National historic site. In spite of its age, it very well maintained and has been updated to feel like a more modern hotel that also feels a bit like home. This was our second stay and we were as impressed as we were with the first. Our room had a full kitchenette. while we didn't use it that much it was nice to have. A comfortable bed and good size tv that was easy to navigate made it feel comfortable. While the bathroom was small, it was clean and somewhat updated. The location was perfect for our needs. We could walk to most of the places we wanted to go and with on site parking it was easy to come and go. There is a very nice restaurant attached (The Knick). Serving breakfast lunch and dinner with a friendly bar and reasonable prices. It is close enough to downtown to be convenient, but is in a quiet neighborhood virtually on the lake.

Recently enjoyed another memorable weekend in Milwaukee at the Knickerbocker.... Vintage Hotel with so much character and charm. We were surprised to note an updated coffee nook with coffee, vending, ice. The clean and convenient corner "room" is located right off the lobby (spoiler alert: the neon signage seems a bit out of place next to the magestic foyer and charming elevator). Love the grand old Elevators ... not only are they gorgeous, they are impressively speedy. Our room on the 8th floor had plenty of closet space and a perfect view of Juneau Park and Lake Michigan... Pillows and bed were divine., We were treated to an incredible Sunrise which could be viewed from every window in the suite! The rooms (even the crystal light fixtures) were white glove immaculate and kitchen floor was polished to a shine, however the worn carpet might be due for an update. The tiny bathroom was sufficient, but both the old style shower and toilet require a learning curve to operate... so guests should be prepared for an "old fashioned" experience when using it. In sum, we love walking into the grand entrance of this hotel. The guest service representative was helpful, efficient and attentive. EXCELLENT customer service... which is why we would highly recommend to guests who desire an authentic Milwaukee hotel experience.

This was our second stay at the Knickerbocker and it will not be our last. Located in the Yankee Hill neighborhood (slightly east of Downtown Milwaukee) and just steps from Lake Michigan it is a vintage hotel that has been modernized to create convenience, charm, and comfort. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The rooms are nicely appointed with very comfortable beds, smart TV's and kitchenettes; and even a full kitchen in the larger rooms. The kitchens are stocked with the basics if you want to cook for yourself. There is also a restaurant (The Knick) on site that can serve you from breakfast to after dinner cocktails. The food is very good and reasonably priced. For a small fee you can park in a secure lot attached to the hotel. You can walk to many places museums, galleries and of course the lake. It is perfect for overnight and would be wonderful for and extended stay in Milwaukee. Oh, and the price is reasonable. We stayed in a Standard Room (attached pictures) which was perfect for a 2 night stay. We have stayed in a Deluxe Suite that would be great for an extended stay. The Perfect Milwaukee location

It was good; I just wish I had more of a description of the room. It would have been nicer to have a bigger vanity in the bathroom, but it was okay for one night. The hotel was very beautiful, and the food at the restaurant was amazing for each meal. It was very clean and well maintained and within walking distance to the beach, basketball arena, and many restaurants, plus things to do downtown like bars.

I lived in Milwaukee for 8 years in the 1980's and whenever I come back to visit I make it a point to stay here. It's a like a time machine back to a place I remember visiting as a child. It's simple and elegant. The hotel and rooms are very clean and well cared for. There aren't a slew of the sorts of amenities you'll find in modern hotels; however, it has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The area is wonderful for walking through parks, accessing walking and biking trails, and of course it's right near the lake and beaches. Also, the onsite restaurant, The Knick has great food, good craft beers, a decent wine selection and friendly staff (and not pricy!). This hotel honors the architecture and vibe of Milwaukee's famed past and I wouldn't stay anywhere else when I visit Milwaukee!

Great staff. Very friendly and helpful. Stayed for 3 days. Spacious room, desk, microwave, refrigerator, very clean. Indoor pool, spa, exercise room. Near a number of restaurants. Great breakfast offerings with comfortable seating area. There is even an outdoor seating area when the weather is nice. I would recommend for a quiet, comfortable stay.

The hotel staff went above and beyond to be helpful during my stay. Debbie kept the breakfast area very clean and stocked with fresh and hot food. Debbie, Josh, Carol, and John always greeted me with a smile and willingness to make my stay better. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and well stocked. It was a very enjoyable stay.

What a pleasant surprise. The rooms were spotless. Beds - the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. Breakfast was amazing. They have a pancake machine that made 2 DELICIOUS pancakes (and I'm not a pancake person). So much better than the messy waffle makers. The staff were helpful and friendly. Very nice hotel.

Clean, quiet, comfortable bed, fantastic water pressure in shower. I liked the Dove products in bathroom. Liked the shade system rather than curtains. Good breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff.

Overnight driving trip Carol at front desk was accomodating & friendly. Hotel was very clean, with Covid precautions in place. Good sized clean room with microwave & fridge in cabinet under big screen TV. Keurig coffee pot. Very comfortable bed with 4 King pillows. In most places the king beds have 3-4 tiny pillows. Indoor pool was open, but we didn't use it. Only thing I didn't care for... Ice bucket & cups were kept in bathroom, not on the desk in the main room. We live in Eastern time zone, and left too early for breakfast, so I can't comment on that, though we were told it would be a"grab and go" bag

This was my 2nd stay there. Affordable yet having many of the amenities in higher priced motels. Very clean, the bed was firm, not mushy. House keeping were in every day with fresh linen and towels. They have a pool with a jacuzzi which was wonderful. They’re right off the freeway which is so convenient for getting around. They’re alone on a culdesac nestled in a wooded area. Felt very safe. I will definitely stay there the next time I go to Milwaukee.

Some amenities were less than ideal, such as the jacuzzi timer that didn’t work and the ice machines with no ice. The hotel was understaffed; on a Sunday afternoon there was one employee who was not at the front desk, so I waited about 7 minutes in the lobby to check in. Otherwise the room was nice and there were restaurants and a movie theater within short walking distance.

I was really excited to give this five stars, but due to some misses on the morning of checkout, I had to be honest and give just four. This property is well maintained and is an exceptional value. Rooms are very comparable to a Hampton or Fairfield Inn for (in my case $75) less per night. My room was recently renovated and was great. Comfy bed. Good pillows. Walk in shower. Great work space. Modern and functional. I was pleasantly surprised. They missed two non-negotiables for me to cause four stars instead of five. I'm hoping both were random hiccups that I just happened to experience, but they did imapct my. First: Shower wasn't hot. Yikes. 7:15 a.m. and it was warmer-than-luke-warm-cooler-than-hot. Bummer. Second. Coffee in the breakfast/lobby was not functioning. Seems like they have enough rooms at this place they should invest in something other than the weird auto-vending-machine contraption they offer. Staff was not particularly concerned or helpful about fixing this. Bummer. Room coffee was (unsurprisingly), dreadful. But . . . I'd stay here again and I hope these were just random problems. They are pet friendly which sometimes make me nervous as a non-pet owner. I saw some cute little dogs during my visit but never heard a sound or smelled a whiff of any of them.

Shower pressure is high and water is hot. Room is clean and spacious. Morning coffee is hot and plentiful. Continental breakfast is tasty and convenient.Front desk staff are friendly, professional, and efficient. Staying here is a great value for the price. I will be a return guest.

I loved every single part of this hotel!! Brand new rooms with perfect everything! Brand new updated halls and rooms...Rooms fully equipped with quiet heating, brand new huge flat-screen with everything on it.... TVS are very smart and setup very well to watch Netflix, YounTube, Live TV and cable! Out of all of my stays this place had it all...Staff went above and beyond to make sure stay was great and were very appreciative of my stay. Bed was ultra comfortable and bathroom was perfectly stocked... Even the bathroom was equipped with brand new up to date fixtures and cool vanity. Again from top to bottom all new. Great blackout blind system and perfectly quiet for day sleeping or napping. speaking of napping beds were super comfortable! Breakfast was perfect and had everything one would want hot or cold. Great selection of juices, milk and fruit as well. Very well organized and stocked. I would definitely stay again and thank the staff for a great stay!

The staff were friendly and efficient. The offer of which floor to stay on and complimentry waters were a huge plus! Breakfast was amazing each morning and free coffee/tea/hot cocoa was great to have on hand. We were a little bummed the hot tub was out of order, and hope it will be fixed soon. The pool was a good swim and pool room was warm. Thank you!!

There wasn’t much choice for dining nearby except McDonald’s. But the hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and breakfast was good. Very convenient to the airport.

Real Review: Stranded at Milwaukee airport on a Tuesday night. Needing 2 rooms for one night. Need to be back at the airport by 5:00 AM. All of the travel websites are playing games with the prices. Very frustrating. We found this Holiday Inn on booking.com. Shuttle service is 24 hours, friendly, quick, 5 minutes to the hotel. Effortless check in, clean rooms great beds, and the shuttle takes us to a Mexican restaurant. The shuttle also picks us up from the Mexican restaurant. And the shuttle is ready to go at 4:30 AM and we make our flight at 5:00 AM. This place rocks! Staff is very good! Clean comfortable safe, we saw a couple of airline flight crews checking in as well.

This was one of the best hotel stays we have ever had- every single staff member we met was incredibly friendly and helpful! They went above and beyond and helped us get into a room when we arrived quite a bit earlier from the airport than anticipated. The shuttle to and from the airport was so so convenient! There’s also a ton of food options very close by, a lot even within walking distance. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very quiet at night. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Milwaukee! :)

Having just experienced a horrible stay in a dirty, falsely advertised bnb, we were beyond ecstatic to find the Holiday Inn & Suites on Layton Ave, in Milwaukee. Booking our one night stay, online, was easy, and the front desk staff were extremely professional and friendly when we called to confirm an early check-in. When we arrived for check-in we were greeted by the staff at the front desk, and helped in an efficient and welcoming manner! Our room was very clean, the bed was amazing, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
