Both owners were so helpful and friendly! The room was spacious, and having a balcony with a terrific view after hikes was so nice. Cute furnishings, big renovated room and bathroom. The owners were able to get our info in a system to get free bus rides around town - such a bonus, especially that there's a bus stop in front of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious. We also reserved the sauna after a long day of hiking - really nice facility.

Everything! Since the charisma of the receptionist until the details of the room. Super clean, a balcony with an amazing view, incredible shower, coffee and tea available on the room and a TV with international channels 🙏 super cozy place!

The friendly welcome, the delicious dinner and the excellent breakfast. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Just a five minute walk into town centre for coffee and cakes at Victor's.

Lovely apartment, perfect for a week stay. Nice and spacious with living room, bedroom, and small kitchen. Balcony with super views across the mountains. Location was great very close to Seefeld centre. Staff were very friendly and always helpful for us. Look forward to coming to Seefeld again.

We only spent one night here on the way south but it was very comfortable and relaxing. The room was very clean and quiet and exactly what we wanted. The highlight was the terrace where you could have a meal or, like us, just a few drinks while you admire the view. The staff/owners clearly love what they do and it shows. We would definitely consider staying again when/if we are in the area.

This is such a special hotel, designed thoughtfully and maintained very well. The spa is absolutely lovely, with a beautiful view of the mountains, great amenities and a huge menu of services. The breakfast buffet was better than the 5 star hotel where we stayed in Munich. Our room was very quiet and had a beautiful view, despite being on the ground floor. We had originally wanted to stay at other wellness hotels that are much more isolated (not walkable to restaurants etc), and I'm so happy we ended up here instead. We walked to dinner each night, and walked to a hike during the day as well. While you probably need a car to get there, you could certainly take the train as well, and my feeling is that you do not need a car once you arrive, unless you want to drive to ski areas that are too far to walk. One recommendation, is to leave a pair of slippers for guests in the room vs. only in the spa. Another recommendation, they should allow the full menu or a modified mini-menu across the entire bar/lounge area. We had some drinks in the lounge but were unable to order a snack with them, which I found very strange. That said, all around, this was a perfect stay, and we hope to be back again!

Stunning property and views, amazing spa facilities, gourmet restaurant, and super friendly staff. The spa was extremely clean and relaxing - outdoor pool was gently heated, indoor saunas and steam rooms were lovely with great views out to the trees, and there was a welcoming vibe everywhere. The room was very comfortable even for the basic level. Free indoor parking. The restaurant served the best meal of our trip. Lots of thoughtful touches like a honor-system fridge with drinks by the pool, plenty of towels, nice robes. Sometimes I feel like spa staff are frazzled hall monitors that detract from my experience, but that was not the case here.

Where to start! It was beautiful, central, with amazing breakfast and amenities. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast buffet was just excellent specially with the omelette station. The restaurant on the premises was really good too.

My stay at Das Graseck was for 3 nights. It was very comfortable stay in a cozy hotel with modern facilities. Located on a mountain that is only accessible by cable car, very peaceful. Staffs are very nice, friendly and speak English well. Breakfast is of superb quality. The cleanliness is excellent. Restaurant for dinner does offer half board 4 course menu or a fondue which can be ordered in advance. Both are of great quality and delicious taste. The WiFi signal worked really well in all areas of the hotel. The spa area is nice with a small outdoor heated pool, which is very comfortably heated at 32’C despite the outside temperature was below freezing. All in all, this is a very good hotel in its own class and exceeded my expectations for a hotel of 4-stars superior class.

Wonderful to be back at Das Graseck! It's a truly magical corner of the earth, our second visit and for sure we will be back in the winter months. The staff are exceptionally attentive, friendly and professional with a good old sense of humour! Upon arrival, we were welcomed back and also, surprised with an upgrade to the loft suite, which made our stay super comfy and, of course the extra space and views were magnificent. Excellent breakfasts and dinner service, super selection of wines. Falling asleep to clear skies, majestic mountain views and the best... the sound of cowbells in the distance :) What a pleasure to step out of bed and straight into the mountains for a hike or a bike ride. Don't hesitate to book - this place is a memory maker! Thank you Das Graseck for an amazing 2 days!

We booked Das Graseck for a little relaxation and luxury in the middle of a two week tour of Germany. it was perfect - after two nights, we wish we could stay longer. We are vegetarian, and the chef served us special extravagant menus at dinner. The hotel was a bit quiet at the end of May, and they upgraded us to a junior suite with a wide balcony and fantastic views of the alps. It's an unforgetable view, and so hard to leave.

My wife and I had an opportunity to get away for two nights without the kids so we were looking for a hotel that would be completely relaxing and stress free. Das Graseck was pretty much perfect. Everything from the gondola ride to the room to the VIEW to the spa area made the stay the perfect time away. My only suggestion is that the music in the restaurant and sauna area was somewhat annoying, but that's a minor quibble. Can't wait to get back.

I don't know how anyone can give this hotel anything less than five stars! Saw the reviews were a little mixed but the very reasonable price and inclusive breakfast plus good location sold it to me. And I'm so glad it did! This is honestly one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at and I travel quite a lot. The man on reception was very polite and informative, and our room was beautiful! We had a room at the front with a view of the mountains and the sports arena opposite which was really fun to watch the ice skaters and skiiers. The room is very spacious, modern, and the beds are comfortable. The location is perfect at just a minute or two into the centre by foot. The breakfast was also nice with hot options included. The spa was wonderful, we really enjoyed using the indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. A do prefer the hot tubs to be a little hotter though as I found them to be just warm and coming in from the snow it's nice to have a hot hot Jacuzzi ;-) other than that small complaint it was lovely. All staff we came across were very nice, particularly the man who was very chatty in the breakfast room. If you are considering this hotel you honestly can't go wrong, it was a fraction of the price of the hotels in town centre and offers everything you could want. I hope to return some day! Whilst I respect the views of other travellers I can only give this hotel a review on how I and my friend found it. We were on a motorcycling holiday in Austria and based ourselves for 6 nights at Mountains Seefeld. I only have good things to say about it. The staff we met and chatted to were super friendly and very helpful. We had a superior room (206) at the front of the hotel with an outstanding view of the mountains. The room is clean modern and fresh with a modern shower in the bathroom that was also immaculate. The bed is super comfy and even though I was on the softer bed it. Was a large double size and a great memory foam mattress so no complaints. Reception and check in easy and always space to park our 2 motorcycle in the garage. Breakfast is plentiful and varied and I do question what some people are saying. The staff are friendly. There are two coffee machines. You can have anything from smoked salmon to a cooked and all the pastries fruit and yoghurts. The you waiter we spoke to at breakfast was always helpful and I recommend letting chef make you an omelette. Yes it is expensive and that may put people off but pay for a room at front of hotel and you will no be dissatisfied. Seefeld is an upmarket resort so you can expect high prices to stay here. Not used restaurant yet but if do will re post.

The hotel was clean, modern and welcoming. The room was functional with lovely little balcony with view over the mountains. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Spa and pool area well maintained and clean. Warm temperatures of pool allowed for use of the outdoor pool even when cloudy and cooler temperatures. Nice breakfast buffet and nice food in the evenings.

What a beautiful hotel! I can’t express how much we enjoyed our stay here! The view from the property and our room was stunning! The location was a convenient 10 minute walk to the train station! The pools and spa area are an absolute bonus to staying here! The continental breakfast was unreal, the perfect way to start your day! We arrived a bit early and couldn’t check into our room, but the front desk held onto our luggage for us as we explored the town! We will definitely be back!

The owner was very caring. He provided us not only with some useful visitors' tips but also with some interesting “insider-stories” about the location. The view from the room balcony is simply astonishing, breakfast delicious and, again, with amazing window view. The entire house gives a sense of Bayern. We loved it.

The location of the hotel is stunning! The building itself is an old authentic Alpine Hut. Some minor improvements in the facilities could be definitely introduced, like the comfortability of the pillow. Breakfast included with a panoramic view on the mountains.

Our room was very clean and cozy. The room got top marks for being cool, dark and quiet. Perfect sleeping conditions in my opinion. Our bed was very comfortable. I appreciated the alternative blankets in the dresser. The standard German duvet is way too heavy and warm for me. The shower had excellent water pressure and sufficient hot water. From the description I thought we were staying in an apartment, or studio apartment, but it was more like a hotel room. There was a closet with a mini-fridge, coffee maker, electric kettle, and dishes. There was also a table with 2 chairs in the room, convenient for morning coffee and pastries. The location was good, mostly residential area. Not within walking distance of many restaurants, but we had a car. I felt safe there.

This was a beautiful place to stay, with a comfy bed, lovely decor (inside and outside!), and a fantastic breakfast delivered to our room each morning by the kindest and friendliest person! We had a double room, and were not expecting to have a mini kitchen set up---with fridge, microwave, cleaning liquid, dishes etc. This was a nice surprise! The location is perfect, with a short walk to the center of town and the Eibsee Bus, and only 11 minutes walk to the train to Zugspitze. We took the train to go skiing on Zugspitze one of the days, and rented our equipment once up the mountain. The walk to the station would be tough in ski boots, but it looked like there was parking around the station, and there were also lockers up at the ski resort area. Grainau itself is a lovely town, and we enjoyed going to the local spa, free with the visitor card. Our stay was so peaceful and relaxing, with our warm and comfy room, and gorgeous mountains just outside our door. We would love to come back. But next time, for longer than two days. Note: the green check in box is a little hard to find. It is around the back of the building, facing the garden.

Our stay at St Anton was so cozy and relaxing. It felt like a cozy cabin with a bunch of cool little Bavarian and Tyrolean decorations. The location is perfect and the town is situated closeby to Zugspitze which we went to in the morning. The breakfast was absolutely amazing at St Anton and they brought it right to our room at 8am. The hotel owner was very nice and accommodated all of needs. They even provided us with a free bud and train pass to get to Zugspitze which helped out a lot. Thank you so much for everything.

This is a perfect place for relaxation — beautifully designed and equipped with absolutely everything you might need. The interior design is warm and charming, the rooms are very spacious, and the living area is perfect for cozy family evenings. The views from both the living room and the bedrooms are simply stunning. The location is also excellent: close to cafés and restaurants, and only a 7-minute drive from Garmisch. It truly feels like a fairytale place.

The accommodation was beautiful placed with balcony and mountain view to enjoy every morning. Quite and peaceful area with plenty hiking opportunities. Clean, beautiful and cosy apartment, with all facilities. The bathroom is big and the shower is perfect! Comfortable bed and pillows. We did appreciate the coffee machine and the complementary coffee pods and water. The owners are nice and easy to communicate. 15-20 mins walk from the train station, shops and town, slightly uphill but not hard to reach by foot. I will consider to return if have the possibility!

Lovely, helpful and friendly hosts. The choices and quality of food at breakfast was lovely. We had the room with the balcony overlooking mittenwald, absolutely stunning. The room was to a high standard, with fresh water every day. Really good idea that you can buy drinks from the kitchen that are kept in the fridge, but paying into a honesty box. Thank you for a lovely stay, we look forward to returning soon.

The apartment had a lovely balcony and view of the valley. It was located at the edge of town - very quiet and with easy access to hiking trails. It was nicely furnished with a spacious and modern bathroom - and everything we needed to eat in the apartment during our stay could be found in the kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back to the Schwalbennestl!

Location was great, in town and close to everything. The views from the balcony were incredible- you get to wake up to beautiful mountains right outside your bedroom window. The bathroom was huge with a large jacuzzi tub and separate shower. Room was nice and spacious and very clean. The owner also offers breakfast in the morning which was very good as well!! Also free parking!!! Would definitely rent this place again!!

It was a very lovely and quaint stay at haus Miele. The room had amazing views with a wondow you could open up to step out and see the gorgeous moutnains, the room was spacious and clean, and had wifi/plug ins. We weren't expecting to have to share bathrooms but it was very clean and there was honeslty no problems so it all turned out fine. The breakfast was also great with lots of options and a very nice coffee machine. The views are really what sell the place.

Free parking was available near the residence. The area was quiet with a good view and a terrace. Beds were comfortable. The place was spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly.

the room is really nice with everything, kitchen, dining table, huge bath tub, and free wifi. everything is great, the view is perfect outside the room. room is on the ground floor. garden outside is pretty, also have chairs for you to sit down outdoors to enjoy the garden and the view. (may be hard for winter, can only see from the door during winter). take a stroll to the town downhill, you will see many great views.

We booked 2 rooms, one of the rooms has a very good view of the mountain and it came with a small kitchen area which was not expected. The other room didn't have view but is spacious. The location is good as there are food options within walking distance and near to the city area. There was also WiFi in the rooms despite the facilities page stating that WiFi is not available.

Such an amazing hotel! The Garden Suite had an amazing view, the kitchen was great (we cooked every day) and the bathroom was large. The bed was comfortable. I also enjoyed the breakfast with a good choice of both sweet and sour options, warm and cold food, fresh bread and nice coffee and tea. I rented an electrobike from the hotel and it was a really good e-bike. The location has an amazing access to hiking and bike routes, there is also a lake in a walking distance that is good for swimming in the summer. There is a list of activities in the region at the reception that is updated daily. The 24/7 shop was nice.

Me and my friend stayed in the garden suites and it was just amazing. Beds were extremely comfortable, room was spacious and well equipped. Great balcony with a very nice view. Breakfast was fresh, enough choice and overall very good. Staff is super friendly and gave us very good advice on activities and how to get there. We enjoyed every second of it and did not want to leave. The location, the atmosphere, the distance to nature and activities are a great bonus. Definitely recommend this place.

The apartment was very clean and had a beautiful view. The furniture was a bit old but everything was well maintained and spotless. The reception staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, always with a smile. It’s a bit far from the center, so having a car is helpful, but overall it was a lovely and comfortable stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in Olympia Tirol. It was perfect - nice and clean apartment, great and rich breakfast , sunny terrace with beautiful mountain view, and very friendly staff . They thought of every little detail - such as 24 hour shop with basic food and drinks, laundry, sunbathing terrace and I appreciated even sharp knifes in the apartment's kitchen (not so common :) ) We got everything we needed and even more . Clean, spacious and very modern room. Everything felt like quality. The view from the garden room was stunning. Breakfast is also very broad and tasty. Staff is very caring and helpful. We arrived a little bit after the check-in time but this was no problem and the staff let us know they had a solution ready.

The breakfast was amazing. They had an excellent buffet available with products from local farms like meats and cheeses. There was a juice room where you could make your own fresh pressed juice. A huge bread bar with jams, butter, and a slab of honeycomb you can cut right into. Staff served eggs and other basic breakfast dishes to order along with tea and coffee. The breakfast room was bright and airy and the perfect place to start the day. The spa was also amazing. There were so many different spa areas, some nude, some not. It was a very nice balance depending on what type of spa experience you were looking for. They offered us welcome drinks with some finger snacks. Tea and cake hour in the midafternoon. We received a thank you bag with goodies upon our departure. The dinner was really excellent and they also had a delicious and intentional vegetarian menu. One of my favorite things was watching the sunset over the gorgeous snow covered mountains while relaxing in the outdoor jacuzzi. It was a truly memorable experience. Oh and dogs are welcome.

Everything turned out great after a shaky start at Check in, and A charge of €10 from the train station to the property which is all of about two minutes so be careful about that I’m sure I could’ve call the hotel and got transportation but I didn’t my mistake ,room was large and views amazing from room, spa and 3 pools crazy good, especially the salt water Jacuzzi really good for your skin be careful there’s a naked area if you with your daughter you have to be careful because a lot of fat people with their butts showing the breakfast buffet one of the best I’ve ever had in Europe the service amazing,if you’re lucky enough to get a table outside the views are crazy beautiful be careful with the dinner it’s a seven course dinner and takes about seven hours one hour for each course ( just kidding but it was a long long dinner)try to pass on that meal if you’re an American we’re just too impatient The dinner buffet was very very good!

We travelled as a family of 4 (kids 9-11) and stayed for a week in Sacher for a trip aimed at ski & relaxation. We had a fantastic stay. The most impressive things +++ : The room (suite 2), superb views, very large, private sauna, quiet, great bedroom & bathroom, excellent fit for a family of 4 +++: Some exceptional staff, who go above and beyond what is expected to make your stay memorable and fix all the small things you need -> Martina and Angelique at front desk, the lady managing the breakfast, the drivers +++: Look and feel of the hotel, mix of rustic and modern, with a comfy feeling. Looks luxurious but authentic +++: The spa and the variety of swimming pools & saunas The good things ++: location, nice views easy access by shuttle or by short taxi ride to the slopes ++: the food, good choice, good products but can be really slow service (vs. fast paced city restaurants) at dinner time A great stay overall and we will definitely come back.

We only stayed for two nights as we didn't know what to expect but everything exceeded our expectations. First class service, amazing rooms, fantastic food, great pools, dpa and relaxing area... Even in Seefeld there is so much to explore.beautiful trails, lakes, restaurants and cafes... Next tine we'll make it a week. Well wirth every penny! The only tiny issue I had was the lack if coffee making facilities. Im an early riser so it would have been nice to be able to make a cuppa in the room as breakfast doesn't start until 7am. Breakfast - you'll be absolutely spoilt for choice, lunch was a light salad type buffet, nice cakes in the afternoon and a marvellous 7 course dinner at night!

We really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Zugspitze. We visited there for one week before Christmas. The hotel is at same time very high quality but cozy. The location is perfect, a few steps from Garmisch Parten-Kirchen center and from railway station. Shops are easily available. The hotel itself is super clean,we liked especially our bathroom. The service is very friendly as well. The food is very good - we had half board so we could enjoy every day the breakfast and dinner. Dinner included 4 delicious dishes every day + greetings from kitchen. We could decide every day if we wanted to have a dinner at 6 pm, 7 pm or 8 pm. Also free snacks were available every day in the afternoon. There is in the hotel a nice little spa as well with a swimming pool, jaguzzi and three different saunas. I also had a spa treatment (oil massage) and it was relaxing too. Threre was also a garage for 15 euros price/day. We found that practical so we did not need to find every evening a place for a car and we always knew the car was safe. I recommend this hotel warmly and if we´ll travel to Garmish again, I would like to stay at Zugspitze again.

I went to this hotel with my partner for our (mid) 3 year anniversary and we loved every moment of it: -Location was absolutely perfect! A traditional small german town, so there's a lot of great food but if you get tired of the Bavarian flavor, then there is an asian restaurant and an Indian one. -The hotel is a walking distance from everything; a grocery store, a pharmacy, souvenir shops..etc -Staff were AMAZING: I appreciated that even though we had to leave our booking 1 day earlier than planned, the amazing man at the reception gave us a 40 Euro discount! -Super super quiet at night. This is amazing considering if you live in a big city, you know how annoying the street sounds can be! (so amazing sleep, super comfortable and cozy). -There was parking for our rental car indoors which made it so much easier than finding parking by the hotel. -Breakfast was sooo nice! We had it every day when we were there when we usually don't care too much for it! (those german sausages!! YUM!) Overall such a wonderful experience. Would 100% stay again!

My son and I stayed at hotel Zugspitze during our trip to Garmisch-partenkirchen. The trip was leisure cum travel and our purpose was to relax as well as visit the major attractions near by. We had very comfortable and enjoyable stay at the hotel. The hotel staff was very courteous, polite and helpful. The rooms are clean and well maintained. We booked Deluxe room with mountain view and we really enjoyed them during our stay. The breakfast was really good. Although, half-board had a few options for vegetarian people like me, it was delicious and worth the price. Another plus point was the location. It's barely 10 mins walk from the central station and City center is also at walkable distance. We would definitely like to stay again at hotel Zugspitze.

Rooms, food, service, ambience, family run, pool, jacuzzi, free snacks during the day

The staff were welcoming, pleasant and very friendly. Everyone came to congratulate my mother on her birthday personally, they decorated her room and our dinner table. It felt very personal and heartwarming. The facilities of the wellness area were clean, and the saunas were beyond our expectations- 4 different saunas, a great pool and a jacuzzi outside which was great with the snowy mountains view. The dinner was spectacular- we left our plates clean, and the breakfast buffet was delicious and varied. The rooms have large balconies facing the mountains and the beds were comfy. The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the train station and from the center of Seefeld, which was very comfortable. We absolutely loved everything about this weekend!

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel really welcome by the owners. We were shown to our rooms personally and shown all the amenities and treated to a drink at the bar. Our room was a junior balcony suite which was very spacious with a very comfortable bed and an abundance of storage space which led through to a large lounge area again with plenty of storage leading on to the large bathroom. Patio doors from the bedroom and lounge led to an extensive balcony with stunning views of the mountains. The dining room was spotless with very attentive and friendly staff who were happy to stop a minute for a chat and make sure that we were happy and comfortable. The bar and lounge area was great to relax in during the afternoon where home made soup and cakes were available free to residents. There was a lovely indoor swimming pool which we made use of every morning with a sauna, steam room and plunge pool which was accessed through the gym. The hotel was perfectly located being just a couple of minutes walk from the local railway station and the shops which led to the ski slopes and sports area. We holidayed for 6 days in January 2022 with 2 other couples and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Stayed here for a solo getaway ski trip. The staff was very welcoming and eager to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The single room was cozy, warm, and had a bed so comfortable after an active day of skiing that I hardly wanted to get back up for dinner. The hotel served a fabulous Tirolean buffet dinner one night and a delicious five course meal the next. Breakfast offered a wide and bountiful variety. The indoor pool is gorgeous and the ski slopes are a five minute walk to the free shuttle. The center of town is only ten minutes away and there you can find the casino, restaurants, and shopping.

This hotel is exceptional in so many ways: the food was amazing (the most perfect I've ever had balance between 'posh', tasty but still filling), the variety of dishes was incredible. The Wellness facilities were fantastic with a decent size pool and 3 different types of sauna. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed to be able to wash and easily dry my ski clothing every day. However, what lifts this hotel above any other hotel I've been to, is the STAFF. Every single one of them was wonderful, friendly, , helpful but also just fun to chat with. I was a solo traveller and I was so well looked after. They all wanted to know about my day and told me so many fascinating things about the town, etc. I have never felt so welcome and so happy in a hotel before. Thank you

We had a wonderful week-long stay at Hotel Seefeld as a family with our two daughters. From the moment we arrived, Victoria, the owner, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She was incredibly attentive, taking care of specific food preferences and allergies at breakfast, offering fantastic restaurant recommendations, and even preparing a natural cream for one of our daughters when her face was badly burned on the ski slopes. Her kindness, warmth, and genuine care truly made our stay special. The hotel itself is modern and beautifully designed, with excellent facilities. The pool area is fantastic, the location is ideal—a short and pleasant walk to the city centre—and the indoor parking is a great convenience. Everything about our stay was perfect, and we can’t wait to return next year to see Victoria and her lovely family again!

Staff were extremely helpful and super friendly and the hotel was absolutely stunning. 100% recommended if you want an amazing experience. The bed was super comfy. Nice modern bathroom best value for money .

I need to contact booking.com because I’m trying to give a higher score then 10. This place is magic. Host Victoria makes you feel comfortable, makes you feel home. She’s always there to answer your questions with a smile. She’s always there to check on you and ask if you need anything. She’s the sun in the house. She’s sharing things, she has humor, she’s making sure you are fine. Combine that with an extraordinary spa in the basement, with a splendid and royal breakfast each morning, with tips and tricks of things to do and things to visit, and you’ll love it. On top of that, Victoria doesn’t mind to prepare you some snacks or tapas, if you let her know in advance. She’s just amazing. She will surprise you. This place is amazing! 11 points! 5 stars.

Our host, Victoria, was incredibly kind and helpful, and she recommended some wonderful hikes. The homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious and varied each day. The location of the accommodation was excellent – it’s in a quiet street, yet the hiking trails are easy to reach. We wholeheartedly recommend this place!
