Hotels with Jacuzzi in Room in Montreux

The room and bathroom were vary spacious and we got some fruits as a welcome. The breakfast was amazing! The fitness area, with gym machines, sauna and jacuzzi is also pretty cool. The best with the hotel is the view of the Alps though. The staff was also extremely friendly.

Warm initial reception, both by the front desk and the porter who showed us our room. We loved the period furniture in the room and attention to detail with bathroom towels etc and toiletries; the small food snack provided; the embossed writing paper; the Victorian heaters in cast iron; the lift which worked quickly; the beautiful gardens; the chance to eat breakfast outside; the opportunity to use the sauna and jacuzzi privately; the incredible breakfast spread; the extensive collection of art and objects of art the hotel displayed. The kindness of the hotel owner’s wife, who let us have one of the hotel’s clothes hangers with the hotel name upon it as a momento of the stay.

During the months of September and October I stayed 3 times in this warm cozy hotel. Its location, close to the clinic of De Valmont, is what originally motivated my choice. I came back again because of how perfect it was for me. It is quite large but feels like a family run hotel, with the kindness and attention to details and to customers that you usually only find in 5 star hotels. The view and location are spectacular. The rooms and the hotel are not modern, but well kept and super clean. The room was large (room 25, a suite with an amazing view and a separate living room) and very comfortable. Breakfast is delicious. more surprising, dinner was just amazing, with an attentive and professional service. The soufflé au cassis for dessert was worth the trip.

Hotel typical of its 19th century epoch, but well renovated and updated. Perched high above the lake . A lot of charm, elegance, and atmospheric ambiance, decorated with lots of art. Our room, in a corner on the upper floor had fantastic views over the lake and the mountains. Furnished with original furniture and pieces of art. The bathroom retained a Victorian look whilst discretely incorporating modern plumbing. Wifi works well. Our stay was too short to enjoy the pool the beautiful and the manicured grounds. Reception manager was very welcoming and helpful. Generally, experienced and professional management, well trained staff. Parking (free) available in front of the hotel, safe and convenient. The hotel is accessible by public transport but is set away from the busy town centre. Lunch in the restaurant, in the beautiful verandah overlooking the lake, was excellent. The fixed menu was creative, well executed, and very good value. Breakfast (included in the room price) was excellent, with very good fresh products.

The hotel has an amazing location above the lake. The view is lovely. The grounds are wonderful, with beautifully kept plantings. We hosted our family for a dinner on the terrace, and it could not have been more wonderful. The food was great, the staff were attentive, and the view was truly beautiful. The breakfasts were also held on the same terrace and were absolutely delicious. Our room was spacious and very comfortable and had a wonderful view as well. I was thrilled to have a bathtub, as I had been missing them on our trip. I also loved the attentiveness of the staff with the turn down service and so forth. We really loved staying here; it is one of our favorite memories of a rather long Switzerland trip!

Modern Times Hotel is a recent development with comfortable, light and spacious rooms (and some superb views, particularly on the garden side). The hotel facilities and room furnishings are modern, in very good condition and provide for a very comfortable stay. We have found all the staff whom we've encountered to be friendly and helpful and this contributes to the relaxed atmosphere of the hotel. Although located on the edge of Vevey (close to the main autoroute along Lake Geneva and connecting directly to the Bern autoroute), the hotel provides travel cards for the region and there is a good local rail service connecting to Vevey town centre which we have used several times to enjoy the lakeside atmosphere in Vevey. The hotel restaurant, which is also used for breakfast (a pretty extensive buffet), is modern, airy and relaxed. We have stayed here on numerous occasions when travelling through this region on longer trips (so we also appreciate the excellent parking availability) and have never been disappointed.

We felt very much at ease in this hotel, you need a car to stay there since it is outside a village near Vevey. The guests are a mix of business people (individuals and seminars) and tourists (also groups). The breakfast buffet is great. Very friendly staff. Vevey is about 5 min. drive with a lively lake promenade and many restaurants. Great atmosphere in summer! If you appreciate a quiet room at night, we can recommend a room with garden view, it was perfect.

Great experience from check-in to check-out. Very friendly staff (front desk, cleaning personal, people at the bar/restaurant). Big and comfortable bed, very clean and tidy room. Food at the restaurant was really good. Overall a good 2 nights stay, just wish I could have stayed longer.

The hotel is very nice and new, our room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was nice and attentive. It’s a bit far from the main town but there’s a train station nearby. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was superb! Will definitely come back.

My wife and I stayed at the Royal Plaza with a tour group. We loved the Lake view from our room and the overall ambiance. The rooms were large and spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, especially at the breakfast service. We ate dinner at the restaurant and the bar the two nights we were there. The food was good but found it pricey. It was raining and we didn’t want to go out to seek out other options. There are restaurants nearby, so there are plenty of options. The one complaint that we had was the nightly music at the bar a couple of floors below our room. The music was played too loud along with the thump from the bass, made for a hard time to relax or try to go to sleep at 10:30 PM for early morning tours. They finally did turn the music down at 11:00, but you could still hear the bass thumping until very late. It would be helpful if the hotel informed guests of the possibility of the music being played loudly and give you the option to be farther away from the bar area. This would help future guests have a more pleasant experience. We also found the lobby area very warm. They need some air movement in this area.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Royal Plaza Montreux & Spa, and it was a truly memorable experience. The hotel’s location is unbeatable—right on the shores of Lake Geneva, with breathtaking views of the water and the Alps from both the lobby and many of the rooms. Waking up to the sunrise over the lake was a highlight of my trip, a fabulous location right on the lake, with a bar and restaurant located lake side, with very large rooms, and onsite parking. Ideal for exploring the town. The room was spacious, elegantly decorated, and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities (including a Nespresso machine and luxury toiletries) added a nice touch of comfort. Service throughout my stay was impeccable. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with recommendations or bookings. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The hotel also offers onsite parking.

The breakfast was very nice but I want to mention that there were two types of breakfast, American breakfast and another option is croissant with coffee at the sunset bar. The view of the room was wonderful full lake view and sunset view. The staff was so kind and helpful and happy to answer any questions and explained the activities we can do and were to go.

Second time here. Love the area. The rooms are cute, love the view on mountains, basket breakfast on balcony in a robe, a nice relaxing weekend getaway. We used the jacuzzi this time which was perfect after a say of hiking. Food is fresh, homemade, from the garden, local.

View is magnificent. Sauna and jacuzzi are great, very pretty room, a very special atmosphere. Be prepared to swat plenty of flies in the room, it is a farm....,mattress in the bed need an upgrade. Otherwise a very nice place..

It's a very peaceful place with a great view. I like that breakfast is delivered to rooms the evening before. But the coffee machine didn't work (or I couldn't work it), so I had to ride two hours to Gstaad for my wake up coffee! Bookers should be aware that the closest restaurants are in Leysin a couple of kilometres up the hill.

The rooms we had are spacious, and clean. The view from the room of the lake and mountains is beautiful. There was one bathroom and one powder room which was very good for a family of four. The host is very friendly, responsive and helpful. He helped with carrying our bags as well. The place has a recreation area that is very nice. The bus stop (Bon port) is right next to the property and travel is very convenient. The host provides with a riviera card that makes local travel free. The breakfast was delicious and the spread is great!!

We stayed for two nights as part of a road trip across Europe. Was delighted with the property, which was excellent. It's located very close to the Lake, about a ten second stroll, and then it's a very easy walk into the centre of Montreux. The host was very pleasant and welcoming. We parked our car in a garage on the premises, which felt very secure. Our room was very spacious with a view over the lake. Breakfast was superb, a vast range of food including cold meats, cheese, tomatoes, eggs, fresh bread, croissants, fresh melon, yogurts. Tea and coffee. We shared a bathroom with one other bedroom, but this didn't cause any problems. I'd read a few critical reviews before travelling and had been slightly concerned, but I would certainly return to this guest house. There is a train line quite close to the hotel, but this didn't bother us at all. There is a kitchen that you can use to prepare food if you wish, also a games room with a pool table. Overall, a superb place to stay.

Exceptional hospitality. Great breakfast food and cookies in each room. Lovely robes and towels. Nice touches throughout the property to make you feel at home. Very kind and responsive management. Felt like a hotel. Wonderfully located. You can take a dip in the lake it's just a 3 minute walk to Quai des fleurs. Gorgeous stroll to Chillon castle (15 min run/30 minute walk) I did both because it was so beautiful. 12 minute walk to gare de montreux. Also free laundry, which was nice (I was between two weddings). I was offered free late checkout (noon) and a discounted one night stay after my plans wenr later than expected! One tip: Best means of contact was through the booking messaging option. Also let them know your arrival time and update them if running late. I didn't expect the shared bathroom, but it was only shared with one other room and I never saw them or overlapped except once at 7am. Fresh towels and spa shoes made it feel very luxurious and comfortable. Very charming architecture, lovely window view.

Great location within a small walk to a beautiful swimming spot in the lake. The host was super friendly and helpful and even helped us find a parking space next to the property. The room was very clean and comfortable, and there is full kitchen facilities available. Excellent breakfast and proper coffee which i greatly appreciate when travelling

The hotel’s location, and the view from every angle, whether the restaurant, bar, or room, is absolutely breathtaking. It offers an unbeatable panoramic vista of the lake framed by majestic mountains. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy bed and a large, well-appointed bathroom featuring a jacuzzi bathtub, double sinks, and all the amenities one could wish for.

My husband and I traveled to Vevey to attend a wedding. While the wedding was not held at this hotel, my friends getting married knew my style and expectation and their recommendation of Le Mirador Resort & Spa was excellent. Our room had a private terrace and amazing views both day and night. We got room service one night and ate at the restaurant another night. The food choices and quality were excellent in both and the friendliness of the staff was also excellent. The pool and jacuzzi was great when we spent a day in to rest. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Chardonne, Vevey, Montreaux area. It is a bit pricey but worth the price. You truly get what you pay for.

We had a junior suite. It was very well proportioned, the bathroom area was extremely well planned and spacious. We liked the dressing. The view was exceptional from the bedroom terrace, unfortunately we were in the mist for 2 days, but the weather is sometimes unpredictable! The bed was very comfortable. We did not have breakfast, but had a brunch-type meal instead. It was lovely to have good choices of snacks in the bar area. Parking of the car just outside the hotel was perfect. It was lovely to see an open fire in a seating area. The SPA personnel were very professional and competent. The hotel was decorated with taste, beautiful objects well presented.

Fantastic hotel and exceptional staff across the whole hotel. Thomas on front desk very helpful and the chef at breakfast was very accommodating as was everyone at breakfast. The views from this hotel are hard to beat. Room was great and very comfortable, spacious no need for TV as the views were breathtaking. Food at breakfast was very fresh, local and organic and the choice was good.

You cannot go wrong when staying at a 5 star hotel under the Relias & Chateau name. Our four night stay was amazing with excellent service. Our view room was upgraded to one with a balcony which we enjoyed very much. Waking up to see the view was a delight. We came to Vevey especially to visit the UNESCO Lavaux wine region. We have discovered in past visits to Switzerland they have amazing wines. The Grand Hotel Du Lac lobby has amazing fresh flowers and elegant sitting lounges as well as an outdoor patio. The hotel provided lots of bottled and boxed Henniez water for your day outings and added little chocolates in the evening. The buffet breakfasts with choice of hot entrees are plentiful and of high quality. We also enjoyed a fabulous dinner in the Veranda room. The location is great right by the water, we took a taxi from train station but after getting familiar we could easily walk to the train station ( about 15 min) for day outings. Also, the hotel provides a pass (download to your phone) where the local buses were free and offer half price for the admission to the Chillion Castle. The local 201 bus is right around the hotel which we took to visit Montreux and castle. There is a public laundry mat about 2 blocks away which we needed after traveling through France earlier. We had an amazing stay. Thank you.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Beautiful property perfectly located at the edge of Vevey overlooking Lac Leman. The food (both restaurant and room service) were great. Breakfast with many choices - in room or in the dining room. The room was excellent. Perfect view over the Lake. Air conditioning that worked well. Spacious and well appointed. The service was amazing. Yulia (might have spelled incorrectly) was so helpful upon my check in. I had a guide cancel last minute and she immediately helped ensure that I would be able visit and taste the lovely Lavaux wines. Also helped with restaurant reservations and provided other guidance as to things in the area. The doorman was very kind and always greeted me by name. Beautiful property. Well maintained (though there was some mold in the bathroom shower area). Pool and bars were great. Lobby areas were nicely cared for. I’m already thinking about when I will go back.

From a wonderful welcome on arrival, through to great food and service in the restaurant, clean spacious rooms and a lovely pool, staying at the Hotel du Lac was wonderful. The staff are friendly, the bar drinks great, and the location fantastic. I don't think I can find fault with anything. I was looking for a relaxing 5 day break and this hotel delivered. In particular, the quality of the staff shone through consistently, from a great welcome, the restaurant and bar staff and front desk always ready to help. Its a fifteen minute gentle walk into Vevey or a free bus outside the hotel which is along every ten minutes. Perfect for a relaxing break from real life.

This hotel met all of our expectations. The staff were attentive and not intrusive. The hotel is well placed and although backs onto a road once in the hotel it was not an issue, we were not disturbed. We stayed in a junior lake view suite and our room was spacious and very comfortable. The view was incredible, over the lakes and mountains. Breakfast was great and the waiting staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area too. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the meal was very good, there were also menu choices for a vegetarian. We would happily stay in the hotel again, and also visit Vevey. Getting to the hotel on the Train from the airport was easy and it was an easy 15 minutes walk from the station with our suitcases. Short walk into the town and excellent promenade to walk along both ways. Overall an excellent stay - thank you.

Build in a chalet style , the hotel is modern , rooms are spacious and well decorated. All was clean and well organised. We had parking available in front of the hotel. They also have a nice terrace. The village is small , but very picturesque. Close to glacier 3000 area ,15 min by car . Breakfast was very nice, with sweet and salty options, good coffee and croisants. We also had dinner there (there are no other places to eat within walking distance ) and the menu was varied, with traditional and modern options. Prices were affordable. We enjoyed so much our rostis! Staff was friendly and helpful .

My stay here was perfect. A fast train from Geneva to Agile then a cute train up through the mountains to Le Sepey. Hotel was a few minutes walk from the station. It was from this station I got the train and bus up meet the cable cars up to Glacier 3000. So ideally suited for public transport. The hotel was spotless and everyone was so friendly. My room was perfect as it had a balcony and good in size. The bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and dinner ... well the rosti was sheer perfection. There is a small shop, that seemed to sell everything, and a bakery/coffee shop just around the corner. Although I didn't get the snow in the village it was up on the mountains so I hope to go back when summer flowers are in full bloom.

Rooms were spacious, warm and very clean, shower was hot and powerful. Staff were very friendly and there was a lovely warm atmosphere in the bar. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of tea and coffee,fresh bead and croissants, fruit and yoghurt and ham and cheese.

Hotel room with balcony and free parking was very clean and comfortable, fine for overnight stay on my trip. Breakfast was plentiful and lovely hot coffee. Restaurant was good and the service for both dinner and breakfast was very good.

Best location, steps to lake Geneva promenade! Fabulous spa and indoor lap pool, jacuzzi, sauna ie Hammam with lounges both indoor and outdoor. A terrace with tent-umbrellas for breakfast, lunch or cocktails/ aperitif is divine. And the bedroom en-suite is luxurious, awesome bathroom / shower, linens/bedding super comfortable.

Lovely hotel with a stunning view! Top Tier Service the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We have upgraded to the suite room which was even better! Spa was incredible too, although jacuzzi water was cold but the rest of the spa area was very good. I would definitely come back here! Thanks for having us🫶🏾

We had a lake view room with a little balcony, the room was lovely, spacious and a very comfy bed. I was concerned about noise as we overlooked a bar, but we were not bothered. We travelled with our dog and the hotel was very welcoming, and generally the staff were very helpful and professional. We ate at the Japanese restaurant and the food was excellent, the best Japanese we have had in a while. They were very accommodating; we wanted different tasting menus as I wanted fewer courses, and they were fine with that. Often you will find that the whole table has to order the same menu. Overall it was a lovely one night stay-albeit terrible weather!

The location, the friendly staff, exquisite restaurant on terrace with beautiful views, beautiful spacious rooms with a view of the lake and mountains. 24m swimming pool with deep end and excellent Spa with professional therapists. Housekeeping was exceptional, we really appreciated their attention to detail.

Great Location, good breakfast, fantastic view over the lake! Beautiful balconies. Friendly and helpful stuff! Lovely terrace within the hotel grounds. A place from where you almost do not want to go anywhere :) plus pet friendly!!! our cat had a "reception" with a welcoming meal and a bed.

The staff were lovely, welcoming, and professional. The location was perfect with Montreux train station on one side and Lake Geneva on the other. The hotel was of a very high standard. The interior design was fantastic and the food in the restaurant was delicious with a gorgeous view of the lake and mountains. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were very well equipped. The rooms have a hairdryer, ironing board, L'Occitane toiletries, bath robes, a yoga mat, a safe, an umbrealla and some complimentary soft drinks - all lovely touches to make your stay more enjoyable. The bar was lovely inside and also on the outdoor terrace. They had a nice selection of wine and cocktails with great service from the friendly bar staff.

Spacious, extremely clean, very comfortable & well appointed , modern room which still retains the character of the beautiful old building with views of Lake Geneva. Very large & comfortable bed (super king) with individual duvets (avoiding the middle of the night fight for covers !!) In addition to the in room safe, coffee machine & mini fridge, there was an ironing board/iron, umbrella & wireless charging dock (although USB points by the bedside would be more useful , to enable charging of devices on both sides of the bed) & even a yoga mat !! TV actually had all UK Channels not just the usual BBC World/BBC News !! Beautifully appointed bathroom with L’Occitaine toiletries , double sink, bath sheets & robes/slippers. In a great location directly opposite Montreux railway station, but not impacted by any railway noise (although our room was on the opposite, lake side, where any noise may have been noticeable). Lovely spacious terrace with lake views & plenty of seating. Whilst drinks were expensive, they were comparable to the prices charged outside the hotel. Staff were friendly, but service could be very slow (even when they weren’t particularly busy). Didn’t eat in the hotel, but located just above the lakeside road or a 10-15 minute walk to the town with a selection of restaurants.

Excellent historic hotel in a picturesque location right on the lake. From a view standpoint, splurging for the lake-view room is worth it. The staff was friendly and helpful and the area is beautiful and walkable. The room was large and comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Huge bonus, right across the street from the train station. I have a couple of complaints and I have these same complaints with every one of these older, historic hotels. They seem to be lacking in soundproofing and transfer noise from adjacent or above rooms. Second, every balcony hotel in Europe seems to allow smoking. This is unfair to those of us who don't smoke. I don't want to smell or hear people in the adjoining rooms. I also DO want to enjoy my balcony. I'm sure there's some sort of a calculation and because most Europeans smoke, they allow it. I have yet to be at a balcony hotel that didn't allow smoking and it's annoying. Can't even open the windows if the balcony next to you or below you is smoking. It just comes right in the room. Completely unfair.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Grand Swiss, and it exceeded all my expectations in every way possible. Without a doubt, this is a solid five-star gem in the heart of Switzerland. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the hotel is unparalleled. From the lobby to my room, everything sparkled and gleamed with an attention to detail that left me thoroughly impressed. The views from this hotel are nothing short of breathtaking. Waking up to the sight of the Swiss Alps outside my window was a truly mesmerizing experience. I could hardly believe I was lucky enough to witness such natural beauty from the comfort of my room. Speaking of comfort, the bedding here is outstanding. It felt like sleeping on a cloud, and I had some of the most restful nights of sleep in a long time. I truly appreciated the attention to quality and comfort in this regard. Last but certainly not least, the staff at the Hotel Grand Swiss were exceptional. They were not only professional but also genuinely friendly and accommodating. Their warmth and willingness to assist with any request made me feel right at home. In summary, the Hotel Grand Swiss is a true five-star gem. Impeccable cleanliness, awe-inspiring views, luxurious bedding, and a friendly staff make it a top-notch choice for anyone visiting Switzerland. My stay was a memorable and delightful experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a truly exceptional stay.

Very clean and comfortable hotel with wonderful views over the lake. Modern room and bathroom. Super friendly staff. A spacious and safe public parking garage (belonging to the train station) is available almost directly across the street (about 30 Euros for 24 hours of parking). Very walkable neighborhood with countless eateries. The room came with a free ticket for public transportation, which comes in handy when you go down to the lake and stroll too far while marveling at the art and views... :)

I must say this hotel is a must. Upon entering, one is awestruck by the grandeur of the lobby and its staircase. Then, to be even more impressed with the check in process and the staff. We had arrived just a little early and our room was not quite ready. Rather than having us wait, the upgraded us. What a pleasant surprise after a long trip. The breakfast in the hotel was also amazing. Before entering the breakfast room, you walk through the grand room which is filled with history. The breakfast was more than plentiful. There was a never ending choice of buffet items, and one can order eggs to their preference. Staff like Alexandre and Fransisco made you feel even more special. The staff would ask about your plans for the day and then give you helpful suggestions. The Jazz Cafe is another plus to the hotel. The drinks in the lobby bar and the food in the restaurant were fabulous. For lunch, take advantage of their daily specials. The staff at the restaurant and bar were amazing. Victoria, Dana and Sebastian always made us feel like we were the most important guests in the hotel. There is also Funky Claude’s Bar. The bar reopened after summer break while we were there. What a wonderful selection of cocktails. There is also so much music history in there. Don’t worry the staff is so proud of the bar that one will get the full history from the minute you sit down to give your order. If one goes to Montreux, the hotel is a must.

We had a wonderful stay at this excellent hotel. We stayed there for 2 nights. The location is simply fantastic. Our room had a balcony with a breathtaking view of Lake Geneva – a true highlight of our trip. The room was very spacious, extremely comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. It was also spotlessly clean. The bathroom was large and convenient as well. The staff were friendly, courteous, and efficient, always ready to help with a smile. One of the best parts of our stay was sitting on the balcony, enjoying the view of the lake and the beautiful promenade below — pure relaxation. Breakfast was excellent, with a rich and fresh selection to start the day right. In short, we wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and hope to return soon!

This was my second stay at this property. Location: very close to the train station, restaurants and bars but the views to the Lake are exceptional. Check in : from the moment you step into the lobby the staff are courteous and professional . Rooms: I highly recommend the rooms facing the Lake because the views are so amazing. Rooms are well appointed, large bathrooms with good quality amenities. Great coffee offered. Some of the furniture were showing a little wear . Cleanliness: apart from the bathroom phone which had some marks in it and the AC air vent that looked old and worn out, the room was very well clean. Sleep: very comfortable bed but would have preferred firmer pillows. Great hotel and I will be definitely coming back.

We had a wonderful stay at the Fairmont. The rooms were spacious, clean, and offered stunning views. The staff truly stood out—they were incredibly kind, caring, and attentive throughout our stay. Everything about the hotel felt well-maintained and professional. It was a smooth and enjoyable experience from start to finish. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay.

The hotel is a wonderful pleasant location, with the garden, terrace and restaurant facing the lake, the views are stunning. It is located up hill so you absolutely need a car, but it only takes 10 min to drive to the centre of Vevey. The toiletries are basic but the room is very clean, no view from the room I had so make sure you ask for a room with a view. But I have to say, I spent time in the garden and the restaurant and the fact the room did not have the same view did not bother me. The décor is traditional and simple but the bed is very comfortable. One point that should be improved: at the moment there are no coffee making facilities in the room. We had bbq dinner at the terrace and it was simple but "good honest food". The views really are amazing. I would definitely stay here again.

The location, beautiful terrace and the vistas were just breathtaking. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the dinner and breakfast exceptional. Thank you to the very friendly man on reception who upgraded us to a lovely lake view room with a balcony, just fab!

We couldn't have enjoyed our stay at Hotel du Leman any more. The staff was exceptionally friendly and the location convenient. Our room had a large balcony with comfortable furniture overlooking the lake....very peaceful and relaxing! The hotel restaurant had a wonderful view, and the grounds offered a variety of places to sit an relax. We were also pleased to find ample free parking on site. Everything was wonderful and we would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely LOVED this hotel. It has an amazing view of the lake, their bar/restaurant has huge windows so everywhere you go there is a gorgeous view. The rooms were just refurbished so everything was brand new. The dinner at their restaurant was great. It did help to have a car.

The view from the hotel is wonderful and the hotel is located in such a great and quiet area. The food at the restaurant is very tasty. All the staff were nice and very helpful. The hotel is clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Free parking.

We stayed at the Viu for 3 nights during a recent ski trip to Villars. Luckily the hotel wasn’t too crowded. We had a town view room which was quiet and well equipped with a terrace and water bottles left every day. The staff were very helpful, especially Samita and Shina at the front desk. They gave us great recommendations and were very kind and attentive. The location is also ideal for skiers since the hotel is close to the train that takes you up to the mountain (Bretaye) and easy access to a ski shop and bus station / train station to Bex. Breakfast is also well stocked (delicious orange juice!) and the Spa is also very modern with two clean saunas and a lovely pool. Great view from the bar. Our only observation is the hallways sometimes smell like Chinese food from the dining room (especially on the second floor) and the soaps / body washes in the bedroom bathrooms have a funky smell to them also (weirdly enough, subjective opinion). Recommend, will come back if we were to come to Villars again, best in off season!

This was formerly the family run Golf Hotel. The Golf had been in need of a refresh for 30 years and this has finally happened with very little of the very outdated furniture remaining. There has been a little remodeling of the hotel (reception and spa) which is fine. The rooms are now modern if not a little austere. The valley facing rooms have very sunny balconies which have been modernised nicely. The breakfast buffet is fine (albeit a little spread out) and you can squeeze your own orange juice. The fairly new spa has been improved with a modest metal lined pool, bubble area and jets you can swim against whilst not moving and 3 types of sauna. There is covered parking (to be reserved) with 3 charging points with outside parking and if necessary the municipal carpark is underground next door. The restaurant is chinese with a general oriental theme throughout the hotel, (not very Swiss, not sure what the message is there) The terrace can be a bit loud but quietens down at about 11pm and there can be pervading smells of food from the restaurant, which although not too bad might put you off a bit. The room had a coffee machine. Milk can be requested from the bar. There are vending machines on each floor which eliminates minibar type facilities in the room. All in all an improvement. Staff are OK.

I had dinner last night with my daughter and friends at the restaurant of the Hotel Viu (ex Grand Hotel du Golf/Marie-Louise). Of course it is still ideally located, centre of the resort and next to the public parking. First wonderful surprise: It has been completely renovated with an excellent taste. Second great surprise: The welcome. The Viu belongs to a Chinese national and all the class, kindness and affability of Asia can be experienced in the way you feel welcome and considered. Service is kind, professional and not obsequious. Just... perfect! Third amazing surprise: The quality of the menu and subsequent food. It is on the expensive side but well worth it. The French wine-masters/sommeliers have an incredible knowledge of the region's wines (As a local they made me discover and superb sweet wine from Bex) and the variety is surprising I mustn't be the only one thinking that this is a new jewel in the already very pleasant restaurant ecosystem of Villars: The place was fully booked, yesterday, out of season! Fully recommended. I am told the bedrooms are extremely well done too. Thank you all for your outstanding hospitality!

Very nice hotel in Villars, very clean and comfortable. Decoration and design are quite good. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. The restaurant Horizon 14 is an excellent Chinese. Breakfast offers a good choice of good food but would gain in offering a greater choice of fresh fruits.

The staff is young and very motivated. They seemed to all get along and are very friendly. Anthony at the front desk was very helpful and gave good recommendations. The Chinese restaurant is good and the bar makes excellent cocktails . The spa is clean with a beautiful view.
