After a nightmare experience at a nearby location. This place was awesome! The room was clean, the bathroom was clean and there was plenty of storage space for suitcases. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. When we needed an extra bed, they were only too happy to provide one. They've also been happy to provide extra pillows and towels. Beds being comfortable is a requirement of mine and I was more than happy with these. The bathroom tap is a bit unusual but works fine. I know some reviews have complained about insufficient hot water but we had 4 adults in one room and didn't have a problem with running out of hot water once. The shower does take some training to get the temperature right, but by shower #2 I'd mastered it. I also enjoyed the fact that you can just walk straight into the shower, there's no step up or anything. There's also plenty of car park spaces and a KFC literally next door. There is a bar fridge and a microwave and bench area so you could do simple meals if you wanted to. I'd be more than happy to stay here again. It's an affordable place to stay that's clean.

My husband and I have stayed at the hotel before and they didn’t disappoint. They accommodated us really well because we were arriving very late. They supplied our room key in the lock box and provided the pin details ahead of time and took PayID for the $100 security bond. Staff was very kind and provided anything we needed e.g. extra towels, tea, coffee and biscuits. The bed was large and comfortable with extra pillows and blankets supplied in the room. The shower was very spacious with good water pressure and the kitchenette had everything we needed. Thanks for another enjoyable stay.

Although the room could do with a revamp, I found it extremely comfortable and it was great for the short time I stayed. Quiet and safe surroundings, and it's placed in a convenient location with only a short travel to the main part of Dandenong. The owner or one of the staff that I checked in with (25/10/2023) was very friendly and accommodating. Would gladly stay here again.

I spent 2 weeks staying here so I could be near my elderly mum in hospital and I couldn’t have chosen better. The room was very clean, the hot water & shower were excellent, the bed was very comfortable and it had everything I needed (eg a microwave). The price was very very reasonable. Lillian the manager couldn’t have been more accommodating, gracious and professional. The other staff were fantastic also. I was only able to extend my stay bit by bit as we didn’t know when mum would be discharged from hosp, but the staff were fantastic, always keeping my room free in advance just in case I needed to stay longer, which actually happened several times. I was so impressed that I didn’t hesitate to choose this motel a week later for one night. Thank you Lillian and staff for making me feel very at home and welcome! PS yes it’s on Princes HWY, but no it’s NOT noisy in the rooms because it’s on the service road. And there is no traffic on the HWY late at night.

Nice spacious motel room. Clean and tidy. Didn't try the breakfast - got there too late to put in order. Reception efficient and helpful enough for the price. KFC next door for late night snack runs. Small complex. Plenty of parking.

I stayed here for one night while in Melbourne for a family event in the Croydon area. I read plenty of positive reviews before I booked at Victoria House, and it certainly did not disappoint. The owners, Renee and Rob, were just wonderful. My home-cooked dinner by Renee and breakfast by Rob were both delicious, generous and great value. Service and hospitality were second to none. The room itself was spotless, very spacious and charming with a comfy bed, strong hot shower and well-stocked mini bar/tea and coffee supplies. Free wifi seemed fairly quick and reliable. Location is close to the highway but I hardly noticed the traffic noise - This is probably due partly to some clever glazing that has been done to enclose the balcony area, which also creates a pleasant, all-weather, atrium-style sitting area on the porch. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Thanks Rob and Renee.

Very welcoming entering the reception area, beautiful fragrance of fresh flowers and candles and very friendly hosts. The property was older but refreshed and very clean and comfortable. Onsite restaurant/wine bar (check with staff for menu as different to online) the food was lovely and the environment cozy.

Our family room was clean and very spacious. It had a kitchenette, big bathroom, balcony, even a dining table in the room. It was warm and quiet and was a great price. The owners were so helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

The bed is soooooo comfy! Breakfast is amazing! And the price is worth it! They even sent the breakfast to our room. Staff is amazing😍 Eventhough its located next to the road, but its quiet, it is really soundproofing, what a relaxing weekend we had with my husband.

The effort that Justin went to to make sure we felt welcome, sorted for dinner and comfortable in the villa. Felt very fancy in our luscious robes and slippers making coffee from the machine in our parisian-style kitchenette. Shower was enormous and had a modern design. There were delicious croissants and chocolates ready for us and the gardens and fountain were just spectacular.

The view was amazing! We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely come back. The cabin was beautiful, clean and warm. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. Our cabin was warm and ready as we arrived. We loved venturing out to the local restaurants and shops. A wonderful weekend away.

Ferntree cottage was clean and very comfortable! The shower was a bit tricky to get in and out of, even for me, but the bathroom was huge and spotless. The bed was extremely comfy as were the pillows ! The views from the cottage were very pretty and it was the perfect location for our nights stay before the Puffing Billy Fun Run. The banana bread and chocolates were the perfect touch. We felt very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed out stay and would highly recommend to others 🌟

Relaxing and peaceful cottage. Exactly what we needed for one night. Everything was perfect, including treats and breakfast. The balcony is overlooking a beautiful forest full of bird life and the cottage is clean and spacious, and has even a spa. The host Naomi is lovely and helpful. Overall very reccomended.

The property was just perfect, the windows and deck overlooking a beautiful back yard! The wildlife and stars you are able to enjoy. The cabin itself was the perfect size, very comfortable and warm, the little heater works a treat. Everything was clean and in place, and upon our second night we’d noticed Naomi had come in to clean quickly, replenish towels and put the heater on all before we’d returned from a day out! Just perfect, we couldn’t have had a better time! Also very close to lakeside for the puffing billy! I’d recommend this to anybody looking to get away and explore the beautiful east!

After a great day exploring the Yarra Valley we stayed one night at this beautiful property, Emerald Ridge, in the Guest Room. As soon as you turn up the driveway you know you're in for a treat. The hosts greeted us on arrival and showed us all we needed to know about the room. You're then left in peace to really enjoy the modern, well designed and spacious accommodation which is also right in the heart of nature. The room featured a king size bed, a lounge area with two comfortable chairs, a small table for two, a large TV (which can rotate to any direction in the room), books, magazines, chess board, a luxurious bathroom with two shower heads, a large spa bath, and a small kitchenette with toaster and microwave. There is air conditioning and a gas fireplace depending on your needs. There was a lovely bottle of sparkling wine and a block of chocolate in the room, as well as everything you needed for breakfast - bacon, toast, an assortment of cereal, fresh fruit and peach cups, yoghurts, orange juice, milk, spaghetti and baked beans and an assortment of spreads. If you're looking for a little piece of heaven - this is it.

The cottage was lovely, very clean, modern and comfortable. I felt really at home here. Rebecca, our host was very friendly and helpful and she has presented a gorgeous property. The thoughtful knick knacks on the shelves made you feel like you were staying in a real home and she seemed to have thought of everything. the fridge and pantry were well stocked for breakfast, and she even supplied a bottle of sparkling! Waking up in the peace of the country side and sitting on our private veranda with a cup of tea enjoying the scenery, watching the horses play, hearing the chickens clucking, we wished we could have stayed longer. I highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a five star stay in the peace and quiet of the country.

What an absolute gem. A beautiful location, very comfortable, tastefully decorated cottage, and helpful hosts. We only had an overnight stay for a wedding, but if we find an excuse we will be back. So peaceful, and the views across the fields in the morning, simply stunning. A 5 star property - clean, and so well equipped - a pantry and fridge with all the necessities and some nice extras like good chocolate, sparkling wine, and fresh laid eggs for breakfast. Honestly cannot fault Emerald Ridge! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Emerald Ridge B&B has gorgeous views, is very clean and has lovely rooms. The bed was so comfortable and the bath tub was so big,I enjoyed using it very much! Tea/coffee and breakfast was provided, and the B&B is not far away from supermarkets and restaurants. Beautiful ponies and cute cats also live on the property and are all very friendly!

We had to stay somewhere close to Emerald for a family occasion, so were very lucky to find Emerald Ridge. We stayed a total of three nights - one in the private guest room (organised at the last minute thanks to Rebecca), and two in the two bedroom cottage. Both were beautifully appointed, immaculately clean and provided everything you could want or need for a short stay. There was lots of choice for breakfast and a bit of extra pampering with a bottle of bubbly and chocolates. The place was in a lovely rural setting with nice gardens and most importantly, very quiet. Rebecca and Gavin were the perfect hosts - there if you needed them but very low profile. I would not hesitate recommending Emerald Ridge to anyone who wants a comfortable and relaxing stay in the Dandenongs.

We booked a standard twin room for our family of three for a one-night stay, and we were pleasantly surprised by how lovely it was! The room was spotless and in great condition — it looked like it had been recently renovated. The bathroom was modern and sparkling clean, and the room had everything we needed: extra blankets and pillows, air conditioning, a microwave, kettle, and mini fridge. The carpets were immaculate, and our toddler had a wonderful time running around freely. The motel’s location is very convenient, with plenty of dining options nearby. Despite booking at the last minute during a long weekend, we were truly impressed by the quality and comfort of our stay. We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-kept stay!

We were in Melbourne for a family wedding .. with the venue only 5minutes away ,the motel was a very convenient and comfortable base for us .. the room was clean , the bed and pillows were comfortable, shower was excellent .. the proximity to shops, cafes and restaurants was a bonus .. dispute being on the Highway , it was very quiet overnight.. we enjoyed our stay in Lilydale

Very comfortable motel with good room facilities ( ie. microwave , air con , cable tv channels , dining table and huge arm chair ! Comfy bed , spacious room , easy parking ). Very clean . Very friendly and accommodating host . Close proximity to supermarket ( Coles ) and eating places . Although on main road , not bothered at all by traffic noise . Only stayed overnight but would be very comfortable for a longer stay for sure . Nothing I could fault about my stay here .

It was a clean, modern room. The toilet and shower facilities were immaculate. At the same time, the beds and room were comfortable and very clean. It is very well located in the township of Lilydale and only a 10-minute drive to Healesville. It was exceptional value for money.

We really enjoyed our recent one night stay at Novotel Glen Waverley, the room was modern and the beds were comfortable. We had a quiet room on Level 2. The pool facilities were clean and the water was warm. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast which was high quality and plentiful. We also appreciated the complimentary water bottles and late checkout. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was in the same building as some restaurants, Village Cinemas and Strike Bowling, with numerous restaurants also in the street outside, and The Glen Shopping Centre within 10 minutes walk.

Our stay was truly exceptional. The level of customer service and meticulous attention to detail exceeded our expectations. We chose this hotel to celebrate our daughter's birthday, a slumber party with some friends. The dedicated staff left balloons, chocolates, and a thoughtful card in her honor upon our arrival. Clean, quiet, comfortable and very friendly welcoming staff. Easy check in and out. Highly recommended. Room was better than expected, very spacious. Our room faced Springvale Rd but was still quiet enough to get a great night sleep. Onsite car parking was easy and safe as well.

The location was quiet and calm surrounded by beautiful trees. The space is private and cozy. There were lovely touches, like fresh flowers, fresh firewood set up for a fire in the little fireplace, and plenty of fruit, eggs, breakfast meats, milk, juice, fresh ground coffee, and tea options for breakfast. The staff were friendly and responsive. The location is good for a quick walk into town for shopping and food as well as to get to spaces to walk in nature. I could not recommend this place enough!

Forest cottage was so cosy, comfortable and very relaxing. Spa bath was great. Bed was very comfortable. The breakfast supplied was perfect. Jessica the host thinks of every little detail to make the stay comfy and inviting. Very peaceful, quiet place in the woods. But close enough to shops and food.

Jessica was super friendly and helpful. Our cottage was so cosy, perfectly clean and comfortable. We were in the 'forest' cottage, tucked away at the back with a gorgeous view of the forest around. So peaceful too! Everything was perfect and we would love to stay here again in future.

We arrived after office hours and staff were readily available by phone for directions on how to check in. Nicely appointed cottages along a fairly quiet road. Kids and adults enjoyed the jacuzzi in the bathroom. Close to vineyards and other attractions in thre Yarra valley, as well as to nearby towns where one can get groceries and takeaways. Fully equipped kitchen. Refridgerators were well stocked with milk, yoghurt, butter, jams, eggs and bacon! Bread, coffee/tea were also provided. Complimentary bottle of Chardonnay.

We had a wonderful stay at Wild Cattle Creek Hotel. The picturesque views of the vineyard made it such a relaxing getaway. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed, with a spacious bathroom and a bathtub that felt like a real luxury. It was great having the on-site restaurant for dinner – the food was delicious and made the evening so easy and enjoyable. Breakfast was also great and convenient, with cook your own eggs, bacon, cereals, fruit cups, and milk. We visited in the colder months and were very happy with how well the heating worked, keeping us cosy throughout our stay. There was also plenty of space in the living area to relax, and everything was elegantly decorated.

Our accommodation was fabulous. I booked 3 units. The rooms were very comfortable, a spa bath to relax in, lovely bed linen in each bedroom, comfy lounge area overlooking great views of the Estate.Each kitchen had all the cooking appliances required for cooking. Our fridge had fresh eggs, bacon, tomato’s, fresh bread, milk and condiments for toast. Tea coffee etc. even a complimentary bottle of wine to toast our stay. The restaurant food was exceptional. Compliments to the Estates chef! The service was fabulous which made our occasion (60th Birthday) an extremely memorable time to remember. Nicci the Manager was extremely attentive, making sure our stay was one to remember. Definitely a wonderful place to stay.

Beautiful place and scenery, very relaxing, meals were amazing at the restaurant, the wine was delicious. Staff were very friendly. The bed was extremely comfy, and the breakfast facilities in the room were great. Heating in the villa was nice and toasty.

The room is spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is also not too small, with a shower, and toilet . Nice big TV, and a small area with kettle and fridge. The building is a little old, the room does look a bit dated BUT everything was neat, clean and tidy. There were some old stains on the towels and bedsheets but it was still clean. Walkable distance to Kingsway area which comes alive at night with food and eatery options. Also walking distance to The Glen major shopping center and also Glenwaverly train station. Near the main road as well if you are looking to take the bus. Was a comfortable cost room and it was a nice stay.

This hotel is on quite a busy road but the window glass is so thick that I barely heard any traffic noise. The hotel kindly let me change my dates multiple times when the event I was travelling to Melbourne for kept changing dates. This is my second stay here and I chose it again because it was really good the first time. Plenty of parking, spacious room and bathroom, all the facilities you might need in the room, quite comfortable bed, plenty of pillows. The hotel was busy but noise was very tolerable. Reception staff very helpful on check in and on other occasions when I required directions or assistance. Walkable to multiple restaurants, a cinema complex and The Glen shopping centre which is huge.

The cottage itself was really cozy and welcoming , it was warm and comfortable, which made it perfect for relaxing after a day out. The location was amazing, peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature, yet still close enough to everything we needed. We also really appreciated the breakfast options available , they were delicious and added a special touch to our mornings. The space was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, despite the small issue at check-in, we truly enjoyed our time here. With such a charming atmosphere and great amenities, we would definitely consider coming back!

The Lavender Cottage is a superb location. Very central. Onsite parking and a 1 minute walk to the main precinct of Olinda. Usual accommodation amenities. Private from neighbours. Spacious bedrooms. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Quiet. Picturesque. Relaxing. Local area recommendations available. Board games and some reading matter available. Wifi available. Kitchen very well setup with lots of old world charm. Breakfast foods were plentiful & yummy. Spoilt for choices! The owners are very helpful and kind. There are some internal steps between rooms on the ground floor of this cottage and while there is a bedroom downstairs, the only toilet was upstairs, which was fine for us. Loved our stay here. So quaint, relaxing & beautiful.

This is the most memorable accommodation I've ever stayed, with beautiful forest view and fairy tale design. The facilities are in very good condition, a small kitchen, a bathroom and a garden are included. In addition to everything needed, the manager was very considerate to provide small, nice stuff like a candle, an incense, matches, chocolates, a CD player, booklets about the area... and even attached a lovely welcoming note to the door, which really added more sweet flavour during my stay. The atmosphere is unbelievably peaceful, perfect for people who want to escape city and enjoy nature & meditation.

It was nestled within a cozy spot, very private and it felt like you were the only one there. Magical. The fridge and pantry was stocked with breakfast foods and drinks, and the kitchen was set up to make your stay super comfortable. Also, super lovely manager at the property. The weather was perfectly cold and misty and I had the perfect view of it from my bed.

Very helpfull staff and the Motel sits in a very good area for food etc, especially at nearby Glen Waverly township and railway junction which will take you to the Melbourne Markets in Elizabeth Street in about twenty minutes, not to long away but you will need to purchase a myki PT card to travel on public transport including Metro trains, Buses. Trams and normal electric rail which covers many suburbs and eventually interstate. Our room was clean and no smell of cigarette smoke. The bathroom or washroom had beenrecently renovated and looks nice, the shower closet is a little small but does the job with good water pressure and beautiful hot water. Breakfast and Dinner are served on the premises which I believe is very good and fresh. Yes my wife and I would visit again no problems, oh the room was quiet on the ground floor with little noise from departing cars in the morning. I'm a picky person but this was fine.

Typical of a motel, Glen Inn had a friendly receptionist. I met both and they were nice and friendly. Although there was only 2 of us, I wanted the family room which could sleep 5 and included a microwave. The room was very spacious with one doubles dinner 3 single beds. It had a nice warm shower and although the room was on 1st floor, the pressure was good. Soap, shampoo sachet, face and bath towel was provided for 4 people. There were mugs and some cutlery, coffee and tea. We did not make much use of everything as we were out whole day. Diagonally across the big intersection was a shopping complex with Kmart, Coles, etc However, the food court closes about 5. Opposite there’s an RSL or some club where as a guest of the hotel you’ll get 10% discount. Not forgetting the KFC right across a small road from the motel. You can park right in front of your room. If you have a car, Glen Waverley, 5 minutes away has plenty of night life. The location is also walking distance to the Victorian Rehabilitation Centre on Springvale Rd which was why we spent the night there. If budget is important to you and you have a car, I’d highly recommend this motel.

This property is as convenient as it gets, practically a stone’s throw from the Ferntree Gully freeway entrance, so you’ll spend less time driving and more time relaxing. The bed and pillows struck the perfect balance between firm and comfortable, think Goldilocks’ “just right,” but for adults with back pain. The room itself was spacious and the location? Chef’s kiss. You’ve got KFC and Brandon Park Shopping Centre right across the street, so whether you’re craving late-night fried chicken or a last-minute shopping spree, you’re covered. Who needs room service when you’ve got a Zinger Box within walking distance?

I was on a last-minute planned, a week long business visit to Melbourne. I had to go for Glen Inn since the other hotels in the locality were either sold out or costly. Nevertheless, I got lucky to have stayed here. The staff were so friendly and prompt. They had me informed earlier regarding my late check-in procedure. The room was very cozy, electronically-locked and well-lit for a business traveler who wishes to stay just for a few nights. All the amenities mentioned on the booking were available to use and in working condition. The room was on the far side away from the Ferntree Gully Road and hence, was pretty quiet all day long. Occasionally, if the breeze is strong and cold, the windows couldn't hold it and you might feel a bit cold inside the room. But, once you get under your sheets, you never have to worry. This was during the start of summer. The bathroom was also very well maintained. 7-Eleven, Brandon Park Shopping Center and Food Court, KFC and Subway are all just a walk away from here. I personally enjoyed my stay at Glen Inn and would even prefer staying here if I return back to the same locality.

The Hotel Cavalier is well located on transport routes and close to a large shopping complex at Knox. It was very well priced for my brief stay for a few meetings on the SE side of Melbourne. I arrived late due to a late flight and the reception was super helpful via messages and emails. They kindly placed my room key into a key-safe for me to self check in quite late. The room is spacious; the bed is comfortable, and the bathroom clean and user friendly. But for those looking for a bit of luxury, the facilities are ageing (eg curtains not hanging on the sliding rail properly, door chain was not functional at all, the door locks are old and felt “insecure”, and there was a bit of a musty smell in the room and corridors). Nevertheless, for a business traveller, I really appreciated the location, room size, comfy bed, etc because it is definitely not terrible but “very liveable”.

We stayed for 3 nights.I was very surprised how nice and clean.Freshly made comfy bed too. it was.Spacious and lovely.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.It was too short though.Value plus for money.If I get the chance will be staying there again.I cant wait to maybe go in summer time ,pool looks amazing.Even had a BBQ.I cant complain about anyrhing.Deffinatly the place to stay.Not everything was perfect but the price waa amazing. The Cavalier is an older hotel that has been progressively maintained. However for the price paid for a City hotel it was entirely acceptable. The bed was comfortable but the split system aircon could have been quieter. Reception was friendly, the room was clean and cleaned during our 2 day stay . A continental breakfast was offered for $9 which was acceptable with fresh bread for toasting as well as cereals and juice. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to Knox Westfield and "The Zone" an area offering many reasonable restaurants. All in all good value for the price paid

Clean and comfortable. Great size executive suite. Older style however renovated bathroom was lovely and kitchenette was very useful. Comfortable bed too. Staff very helpful. Will definately return. 👍😊

Booked my children in for an overnight stay. It was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable and they slept very well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.

We stayed 1 night at Belgave Bed and Breakfast during a weekend away. The B&B is a very short walk from the shops and restaurants and so close to Puffing Billy that you can hear the trains tooting. The room is large and has everything you need including a lovely wood burner and air conditioner. The bed was comfortable but squeaked when you rolled over. The spa looked nice but we didn't use it. We did like the shower with the double shower heads. There was a round of brie and crackers on arrival which was nice and the breakfast supplies were very nice. Di was very helpful and friendly. We had a nice stay.

Beautiful Room in a private setting with an abundance of nature & birds. Despite being close to Belgrave shops and on a busy road, very quiet inside the room. Very comfortable bed, and a great selection of ingredients for breakfast, including Coffee & Milk frother and supplies. Clean & well equiped bathroom, with large spa looking out large window to private garden setting, very relaxing. Private garden has lovely chair & table setting, although not covered so can't use if raining. An excellent location, easy to get to & escape city rush, and excellent starting point to explore the Dandenonds. A return visit and didn't disappoint 2nd time round. Would happily stay again. Only suggestions, Cedar room has small lounge but table & couple of chairs would be more versatile. Umbrella over the outdoor setting, or a small bench on the verandah for when it's raining but not cold. A small cabinet or shelf in bathroom for putting personal toiletries on would be handy. Will soon be booking again for another Melbourne trip.

First impressions were wonderful. Such a pretty place to stay and with all the comforts you need. Great breakfast provisions and comfy bed. Nice double shower! The downsides were as follows: Frying pan has teflon coming off it and needs replacing! They seem to rely on guest to do the dishes, which is ok, but they need to inspect the utensils/crokery to make sure its all clean and usable!! The place could use a good spring clean as there were cobwebs and dust visible. Noise from next door can potentially be a problem as walls seem paper thin! We could hear the neighbours! Therefore its not as secluded as we had hoped for for a romantic getaway. I feel this place was great once upon a time, but the owners have become a little complacent. I hope they read this and see it as constructive critisism as it as it is otherwise a lovely place :)

I stayed at Belgrave b&b for a friends wedding further out in Silvan. Dianne sent wonderful instructions on how to exit train station and find the b&b (very easy and close). A lovely clean and tidy room with a fully equipped little kitchenette, and bathroom with spa bath! The breakfast was wonderful, I only asked for cereals as I was going out early, but eggs and bacon etc are usually served too, along with cheese and crackers, juice and toast etc plus proper capsule coffee machine. B&B was only about 5 mins walk from the train station and easy to find, but couple of very busy roads need to be crossed. Very handy to lovely local restaurants at Belgrave, Woolworths supermarket and also cinema. a lovely stay, and "puffing Billy" the steam train can be heard in the distance!

It was beautiful and cosy, bed was very comfortable, it was very clean, the spa was amazing. It was a perfect little getaway for a couple of nights.

The place is awesome. The staff were very helpful. Food @Bistro are delicious, big serving & not expensive. Our room is very spacious with tea & coffee facility plus bottled water & milk in the fridge. The view from our room is amazing. We love the noise of ducks & tweeting birds that woke us up in the morning. Our stay was so refreshing.

We arrived very late and were treated amazing, the next night i was accompanied back to my room to let me in as forgot key. Staff were helpful, friendly and kind. Room was comfy and restful. Will definitely stay again.

Very close to the wedding venue, great staff, a good bistro and clean, comfortable rooms. A little dated, but very clean and well maintained.

Friendly service. Safe area, good location for Eastland and Ringwood in general. Quiet, clean room, looked like the bathroom had been renovated to a good standard. There were two shower caps, two sets of towels etc. Motel is close to a Hungry Jack's/Coles Express store and Reception is open long hours also. Fox Footy was available on the TV. Room had a really large window with netting curtains which let in lots of light but private too.

The bed was comfortable, and the room was spotless, making for a very relaxing stay. The location was also convenient, with markets and essential stores nearby. Manager Monty was incredibly helpful and ensured everything was smooth, adding to the great experience. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely choose to stay here again next time as well.

My favourite thing was the beautiful bathtub in the very clean and well equipped bathroom. The shower was exceptionally good too. The staff/hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very well equipped with everything you may have need and expect. Tastefully decorated. Very spacious room with seating and table. Accessible location.

We stayed as I was having an operation. We are on the road a lot. From start to finish the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room spotless, spacious and modern, wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. A rare 10 out 10 motel.

The location of the hotel provides central access to all the areas of Melbourne I need to visit as well as providing a spacious and comfortable space to relax while I'm away from home. The beds always provide a great nights sleep and the kitchens are well equipped. I have stayed in multiple rooms and enjoyed them all. I particularly love the spaciousness of the room helping you to feel comfortable. The surrounding atmosphere is also peaceful and the location provides great access to a variety of public transport options, restaurants and shops. Will definitely stay again.

Stayed for 3 nights for work purposes! I arrived later in the evening, which was not a hassle for staff and they happily greeted me and checked me in quickly and professionally. Staff were very friendly! The hotel grounds are very clean and tidy- I like that there was a smoking area with seats and cover. The room is an older style room and older furniture however it was very clean and tidy! Bathroom clean and tidy with super large towels which was great! The bed was very very comfortable and I like that it had an electric blanket for cooler nights! Great location and not far from main shopping area. Overall I would definitely recommend and would stay again!

Check in was easy and fast. The lady at front counter was exceptionally helpful with explaining where everything was. Plus she upgraded us to a two bed room apartment instead of the 1 bedroom booked. We did not use the second room but enjoyed the huge open living area. The bed was super comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. The entire place was spotlessly clean, good water pressure in the shower, which is something I’m particular about. Just really enjoyed this place and will definitely be returning. I always look around before booking anywhere and check the reviews. This place has the best reviews in this area and I was so glad we booked in here. Thanks so much :)

The staff are amazing and always look after us. These apartments are so spacious and provide a relaxing and quiet home away from home. The apartments have all the facilities you need and especially comfy beds. Great secure parking and the location really works for us as it provides great access to the Eastern, Doncaster, Box Hill, Camberwell and the city + more.

We stayed in the main Lochiel house which was just incredible. Loved the huge deck wrapped around the back of the house, the jacuzzi was just perfect to soak in, open fire place crackling away… cannot fault it.

We had a relaxing stay. Loved the combustion heater in the living room and the huge bath upstairs. The driveway was very rough and eroded may not be suitable for all cars. The accomodation was lovely, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We adored the bush outlook. I was a little disapointed to read that they would charge you a cleaning fee if you did not leave the kitchenette as you found it, it is customary for a hotel to offer water glasses and tea and coffee equipment without charging the patrons to cleans the dishes afterwards. I think it's a bit rude given the cost of the accomodation. The owner was friendly and addressed us by name. The breakfast voucher to their restaurant accross the road does not quite cover the cost of breakfast and coffee.

We got to stay in Treetop Cottage 1. It was in excellent condition, very clean and accommodating. Each level was spacious and cosy. Also great outdoor views from each level. It was relaxing to spend time in the spa after a walk or being out and about. Firewood was provided for the fireplace, in which we didn't need to go out and buy. Perfect location, very close to town centre, walking distance. Glad we chose to stay here for our long weekend getaway.

We arrived to our absolutely gorgeous accommodation with easy to follow instructions for access. It was pre heated, lights on and beautifully decorated. We walked to the local pub for dinner and had an awesome breakfast with our voucher from our stay. It was quiet, romantic and a perfect choice for anyone just wanting some quality time, the spa was an added bonus.

Very clean and secluded. Well maintained. Layout and design was excellent. Quiet location. Very close to shops etc. We were given the top floor which was just awesome. Very good views among the trees. Buddy at the Ranges café is very friendly and the owner let us pet him. He is a good boy!

From the outside this looks a lot like a standard US Motel, with outside access rooms with adjacent parking. While this isn't a 5 star hotel by any means, for what it is it far outstripped my expectations. * Spacious rooms with a couch and a nice work table with convenient power * Bathroom has a large spa/tub with shower * One of the most comfortable hotel beds I've run across * Room was clean, and nicely serviced each day * no fuss free internet. While speed was a bit low, no apparent data caps, etc. which are so common in Australia. * Nice large flat-screen TV (useful when getting over jet-lag) * They have a decent exercise room, small pool/hot tub, and a sauna. * Room seemed quite quiet with little noticeable road noise or other distractions. Really nothing to complain about. Slept well every night.

Amazing hotel, perfect amenitites room was very spacious, spa bath was awesome, you could literally lay full body under the water, as for the food i have to say it was nothing but perfect, the service exceptional, and the bed in the room was so comfy laying back watching one of the biggest tv's i have ever seen.

Had an awesome shower, nice clean soft cosy bed, I dined in the restaurant and the food was great, very friendly and relaxing.

Really impressed with the service at check in, during dinner in the restaurant and check out the next morning. The same two gentlemen looked after us. Attentive and friendly. Great with dinner suggestions too. We were in the area only due to a hospital visit so wouldn't normally be in this area when travelling to Melbourne. The hotel was nicely fitted out and comfortable.

The best thing about this motel was the bed. It was so comfy I wished I could sleep here every night. The mattress was firm yet not hard, large pillows and the linen was so soft. For the basic room rate got a large queen bed, large TV, two seater sofa and working table. The bathroom was very large and it was a "wet" room, i.e the shower was not closed off. There is free-wifi and also a restaurant for all meals, which we did not go to. Negatives: there were no amenities in the mini-bar and from the window I could see the pool was dirty.

My room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The shower was amazing and it was great to have a little kitchenette. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was being on a main road. I did not hear any traffic at all. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

We liked the location - just off Eastlink, a main freeway - the nightly rate, and the staff. My husband and I expected much less than what we got for the moderate rate of $147 for a queen size room. Having my elderly mother insist on hosting the family Christmas celebration on Boxing Day in her tiny home in the eastern suburbs, we needed a room at the last minute and were pleasantly surprised to find this slightly hidden gem just 10 minutes from Ringwood. Reception were friendly, attentive and helpful. The room was huge, the bed comfy. The adjacent Indian restaurant was open and suddenly, what had been a dreaded night spent in a tent in the backyard during a storm became an unexpectedly pleasurable evening. I have several top items on my personal hotel room tick-list. Large fluffy white towels. Seperate shampoo & conditioner. A fridge with a freezer that works. Extra pillows, and pillows that one can comfortably rest one’s head on without needing a half-metre long neck. Easily negotiable shower taps. Simple things, easy comfort. Know has all this - thus, that the room was somewhat aged was irrelevant.

Lovely tidy room with good outlook. Indian restaurant as part of complex was lovely to dine in. Several dining options within walking distance. Convenient to locate. Easy parking outside room. Slept well in comfy beds. Spacious twin room with good kitchen facilities. Shower floor needs revamp is only downfall.

The staff are friendly and helpful. We were in a 1 bdrm apartment with kitchen and laundry facilities. Very spacious. Everything was clean and in working condition. We stayed 9 days and would stay again. Great for families. No traffic noise.
