We enjoyed our stay at The Mills House and had a great visit. The property was clean and the service was friendly. We thought the location was perfect…. We were able to walk everywhere needed. We had a corner room with a partial view. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room was definitely updated, and the bathroom had a walk in tile shower which was very nice. The room had a coffee area and robes. We will definitely stay at this Hilton again. The pool area is nice….. the only thing that is needed is a hot tub and fire pit in the pool area. They have a coffee house on property, restaurants and at least two bars. We didn’t get to try the restaurant for breakfast or dinner because we were always on the move, but that will be the next time we visit. Thank you for a really great visit and a fun city. If management does happen to read this, you do have a burned out light above one of your front doors…. The doors between the two dog statues…. Just happened to notice that this morning at 3 AM waiting for our Uber.

This is a great hotel and we loved everything about it. We stayed here as a family of 4 with 2 teenage kids. It is stylish and comfortable with a great location. There is a great bar and restaurant, and the coffee shop/market is fantastic. The location is perfect and within walking distance of everything. We swam and lounged every day at the pool and had plenty of drinks from the poolside bar as well. The hotel was bustling but never felt overly busy. The property is very well-decorated, clean, and well-maintained. Our second-floor room was perfect with vaulted ceilings and and a balcony overlooking the side street and Poogan's Porch restaurant. It was a great place for a drink, morning coffee, and the free smells coming from the restaurant across the street (be sure to eat and Poogan's). We will definitely stay here next time we are Charleston.

Went with friends for my wife’s 40th. The hotel provided an exceptional stay, particularly highlighting its well-maintained and vibrant pool area and a lively outdoor bar that we took advantage of the first day unfortunalty the weather did not cooperate the rest of the stay. Lucky for us the Iorn Rose bar was open and the bar tenders were friendly. The hotel staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was modern and welcoming, making it a place guests would be eager to return to. The hotel was also a short walk to a lot of popular restaurants and shops.

The Mills House is a wonderful, historic hotel situated in the heart of Old Charleston. It's one of the oldest hotels in Charleston, but it's been beautifully updated. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. We were happy to see large, fluffy towels and soft plush bathrobes in the room. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. Service here is A+. There is a restaurant on site, with indoor and outdoor seating. The food and drinks are good. There is also a cafe that has snacks, coffee, tea, pastries, etc. The pool area is lovely. There is a champaign reception in the late afternoon and in the early evening, rest your sore feet while you roast a marshmallow on the patio and make a s'more. So much fun. King Street (great, but very expensive shopping) is just one block over. The Charleston Market is 2 blocks away. Just a 10 minute walk in two directions lands you at the water's edge. Good food is abundant in any direction. Take a historical carriage ride, or a ghost tour if you dare. We enjoyed a secret food tour and a haunted carriage ride. The only downsides are the $30 resort fee (you get $10 credit in the hotel bars and stores per day) and the $50+ parking fee if you have a car, both of which are not an anomaly in a popular place. Splurge a little and treat yourself to a wonderful slice of Charleston history while you explore this amazing city!

The hotel was even better than pictured. The beautifully preserved history with new modern finishes was the perfect Charleston feel for this family trip. We are already looking forward to our next trip. Staff was so polite and helpful. Our waitress in the restaurant Maddy mad sure we had the most perfect first night of our trip. We ran into the hotel from a fast moving thunderstorm and were swiftly placed at one of her tables. She was wonderful to my children and took immediate genuine interest in their excitement for our trip. When discussing our plans and asking for her favorite local places she went above and beyond. At the end of dinner she brought an order ticket to us with a list of places to take the kids, have brunch, best sweet treats and coffee, sights to see and places to shop. It took so much stress off of me searching and googling to give my family options. We went right to Maddy’s list daily to pick our plans. The chef at the restaurant also must have the highest standards and hospitality! A bit of our meal was delayed, honestly not even an issue because we were enjoying our time, but he sent out the tuna tartare on him and did not bill us for our salad that was a bit behind our meals. Every bit of food we ate was perfection and we ended our first night feeling as if we picked the most perfect place to spend the week.

Location is perfect when just going out to different areas, central to everything. Breakfast was good. The evening snacks were a real treat. Met quite a few people listened to Jazz . But the star of the show is the room, very clean and up to date with a full size refrigerator, microwave, cooktop and a dishwasher, also had a full size coffee maker that you can wash yourself to make sure It’s clean. Their coffee in the rooms is quite good. Bed is very comfortable.

We loved everything about our stay here!! Very clean, even had a kitchenette in the room. The staff was always friendly and welcoming! They offer a great breakfast in the morning with great coffee!!The location was perfect because we did several things in Mt Pleasant and went downtown (approx 10min drive) several times too. Plus we had a beach day at Isle of Palms which was only 25min away. Definitely recommend this hotel!! 5 stars!!!

The staff were great! Nathan and the rest of the reception were wonderful, welcoming and efficient. The staff in the restaurant were friendly, so helpful, fun and professional. The hotel is comfortable and spacious.

Great option for a quick weekend getaway. The location is PERFECT distance to the beaches, restaurants, breweries and downtown Charleston. The rooms were spacious and clean. Only thing keeping us from posting a full 5 *'s is the size of the pool. When we arrived after the beach it was a bit cramped with so many folks enjoying the pool. But overall, breakfast was great, helpful staff and the rooms were perfect!!!

This location is ideal for quick access to historic Charleston, Patriots Point and other area attractions. Heading east from Charleston over the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, the hotel is literally the first building to at the end of the bridge. Even though it is right by the highway, there was no traffic noise inside the hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room clean, the breakfast fresh and delicious and the staff friendly and helpful. Honestly, I was very pleased with the whole experience. Would definitely stay here again.

Location, friendly and helpful staff, very clean, nice breakfast, room was spacious and comfortable, bed was comfy. Felt very safe. Joel was especially welcoming and helpful (front desk). Nice touch having complementary water in the lobby to go. Also was nice having hot water to make tea and hot chocolate 24/7.

The room was exceptionally clean and spacious, and the location was very convenient just minutes from the Tanger Outlets and Bonefish Grill. The staff were welcoming, professional, and provided helpful information throughout my stay. I also appreciated the complimentary parking and breakfast, which added to the overall value. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and quality stay.

The breakfast was excellent with eggs, breakfast meats, waffles, oatmeal, bagels, yogurt, fresh fruit. There was something for everyone's needs. We did not have to eat lunch because the breakfast was so filling. The desk personnel were very helpful and hospitable. The lobby had a nice, clean and welcoming aroma. Everything was clean and orderly.

We stayed here with a park and ride airport shuttle bus package. The hotel is well kept and beautiful. Nice outdoor seating area and within walking distance to a few restaurants. Rooms were very clean and the complimentary coffee and tea were much appreciated. I deducted one star for the breakfast buffet, the powdered eggs are terrible but sadly standard fare at most hotels that offer an included breakfast buffet.

The fire pit, the fitness room, the free bottled water and coffee, the convenience of nearby restaurants and shopping—not to mention the ease of access to lovely downtown Charleston. The hallways and our room were very quiet and clean. And the breakfast was less junky than the last time we stayed here—still no oat milk or almond milk, still an emphasis on waffles, Froot Loops and grits but with more variety and a little fresh fruit.

Clean and convenient hotel. We were in town for business at the Citadal and the Highwater Festival. The hotel was convenient to both. One of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in. You could hear people walking down the hall pretty loudly, but it was quiet at night, and we slept well. Staff was great, very responsive to requests. Breakfast is included and was ok, pretty standard hotel fare. Not many allergy friendly foods, I would have loved some fresh fruit and hard boiled eggs as an option. Coffee was ok, but we weren't expecting much. There is a coffee shop close by and a Starbucks a mile away if you want better coffee options. Will stay again next time we are in Charleston.

Pillows and beds were too soft for my liking. If you like a soft bed and pillows you can find it at the Hyatt House. Good breakfast and everything was clean. The workers kept the breakfast area clean and stocked during the breakfast time. Lobby was clean and neat when you arrived. Rooms were clean. I would recommend Hyatt House if you are in the area.

The people at the front desk were warm, welcoming, & helpful no matter what time of day it was. Everything in the room was modern & clean. Air conditioning was excellent & the room smelled amazing. LOVED all the available outlets and USB ports. Awesome shower & super comfy bed. Will absolutely stay here again. 😊

This was the best hotel breakfast ever! Three days in a row it was great. The staff on every shift was so friendly and helpful. The places was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect to get you the tennis tournament and into Charlestown to sightsee.

Rooms were perfect, loved the little kitchen area . Sitting area with pull out couch very accommodating. Breakfast at the hotel was very good. Staff very friendly and welcoming . Clean hallways, fresh smell ! It was perfect! We are very happy with our stay

We rented a 2 bed, 2 bath suite for almost a week. It was the perfect size for a family of 5. Loved the decor colors! The rooms and bathrooms were well stocked and extremely clean. What made this hotel was the staff. This is an amazing staff. They were friendly, helpful with recommendations and engaging. Customer service at its finest. The coffee area was always well stocked and clean. That coffee was a heavenly treat after being out in the rain. It was a super easy process to get new towels when needed. This was probably the quietest hotel room that I have ever stayed in. Perfect stay! The only downside is the parking. If you come back later in the evening, you will be in the overflow parking across the street. That didn't bother us though.

Very friendly, attentive, dog friendly staff at this Candlewood Suites. The staff checked in with us periodically to see how things were going which I appreciated. The bed and bedding was very comfortable, the room was ample size with storage for clothing , shoes, etc. The flat screen tv was large with many stations to choose from. Loved the always available free hot coffee in the lobby. Mount Pleasant Park was a 15 minute walk from the hotel, a great place to walk our dog to and take in the sunset. My only issue with our stay was lack of hot water to our kitchen sink, bathroom sink, and to the shower. My shower at 5 am started out lukewarm and switched to cold. My husband had no issue with his shower at 8 am. One would think the hot water might run out at 8,not 5! Never got hot water in the bathroom sink, sometimes had wam water from the kitchen sink.

We spent 9 days with Candlewood. It was centrally located and easy to use as a temporary home. It was super clean. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Parking was free. The fully equipped kitchen was brand new and the furniture appeared to be so, as well. The bathroom was modern and very clean. We're very picky when it comes to bathrooms. Although they offer room clean up services only once a week, we could exchange as many towels and sheets as we wanted. We had an amazing time there and we felt very safe , no matter what hour of the day or night. We will definitely go back as we will be returning annually. We usually stay at an Airbnb but we will definitely return to Candlewood instead from now on.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. The location is great, just a short drive over the bridge to Charleston. You can reach downtown in approx. 13 min. Staff was nice and helpful. The room was spacious and clean with great amenities such as microwave, dishwasher and lots of dishes and utensils for cooking. The bathroom was a bit on the smaller side, but definitely manageable. Parking was safe and convenient. The hotel is also close to some restaurants and a grocery store, which iOS very convenient. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! Everything was great, especially the attention to small details that really make a difference. Unlike many other places I’ve stayed at, they didn’t use paper or plastic dishes — everything was proper, which made meals feel more comfortable and pleasant. The room was truly clean — not just on the surface, but you could tell they care about hygiene. Even the corners and the bathroom were spotless. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. I would definitely come back again!

We came here after leaving our originally booked hotel which was dirty, and very uncomfortable. The staff was so welcoming, kind, and apologetic for our luck. The location was perfect. 10m from the beach and downtown. They let us check in early, and made sure we were comfortable after having trouble with our first hotel. Room was very clean, and comfortable. Front lobby was our favorite part. So many comfy spots to relax, a pool table, and refreshments. The pool was clean, and well kept.

We arrived later at night and usually check in can be a pain late. This one was great, no issues and staff was nice. The hotel is nice, modern, and over all well kept. Our room was clean, with the exception of the desk. It was sticky and looked like something spilled on it. I carry wipes, so I simply wiped it myself. Otherwise, all clean, and smelled fine. The bed was very comfortable too. The AC worked great, and the shower water was plenty hot. The shower pressure was average, but the size of the stall made up for that. There were plenty of towels and such as well. Breakfast was decent, efficient. Overall I’d recommend. I’d stay here again for sure.

This was my 3rd stay. I went on a whim to get a break from an uncomfortable longterm rental I am in, nearby. This hotel is still very clean, well organized, pleasant. Room was also clean, bed comfortable, bed linens immaculate, bathroom convenient, well lit, bright. It was quiet in the room altho the room was on front of hotel overlooking parking lot. Decent coffee in lobby, I didn't sample breakfast. The hallways are in good condition, which I noticed because so many hotels allow scuff marks and dings in hall wallpaper to stay. These folks are paying attention to maintenance. I do wish the rooms had a microwave oven too. I will stay here again.

We are snowbirds traveling south to our FL winter home. We just wanted a clean, safe, inexpensive place to rest our heads overnight. Tru was so much more and a terrific value. We didn't use the fitness center but thought it was very nice. The staff was really nice, and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Also, we had a pleasant, easy, inexpensive dinner at Ye OleFashioned Ice Cream Cafe, a mile or so away. Mmmmm! We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel close to Charlestown. Stayed one night with family. Hotel seems new. Rooms clean with comfortable bed and nice bathroom shower. Flooring in room was nice no carpet . Front desk staff nice and helpful with dinner recommendations. Good breakfast. Only negative if you want to call it that was there was a small group of tweens using the pool table that had no respect for other guests. There were many guests trying to enjoy the lobby. They were extremely loud , I had to step outside to take a call . They were dropping the pool table balls on the floor. We even saw a couple waiting to use the table but they wouldn't let them have a turn. Front desk needs to step up and supervise table. It's a nice touch but surely won't last long with guests that don't respect others and property.

The only thing we didnt like was it didnt have an indoor pool or jacuzzi. No vending machines. Better breakfast. Otherwise excellent very accommodating.

First Off I love how clean it was. Me being a germaphobe I appreciate the cleanliness. Second everyone was so nice. Especially Mel & Sierra! Great Staff! Very attentive and accommodating. They answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable. Looked up close restaurant/bars/clubs so I can have A good time. Pool area was very clean! 15 min from Downtown Charleston which is amazing. Rooms were clean, beds were really comfortable. Very difficult getting up every morning for breakfast. Lol. Breakfast was delicious! Will be returning for sure!

I'm European, and honestly, my past experiences with budget-friendly American hotels haven't been great. The biggest issue for me has always been cleanliness - dirty carpets, not-so-fresh rooms, and let's not even talk about the breakfasts. But this hotel totally changed my mind! It was super clean, which is the most important thing for me. The room felt fresh and well-kept, and that made a huge difference. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise too - scrambled eggs, turkey sausages, Canadian bacon, fruits, and even waffles. Such a nice touch! If I had to mention a downside, the A/C was a bit loud, and the iron didn’t really work. But honestly, the room was so clean that I’d happily deal with the A/C again. I’d definitely stay here again without a second thought! Big thanks to Caroline at the front desk - she was so friendly and helpful during check-in. Really appreciated that warm welcome!

The staff was amazing! They were friendly and very welcoming. The hotel itself was fresh and clean. Spacious room, comfortable beds,and not too far from downtown. The cute pool was a delightful escape from the Charleston heat!! This hotel checked all the boxes for our weekend stay😊

She was unbelievably amazing—her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care truly set the tone for our entire visit. Shekira went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and it honestly felt like she treated us as family. She is a true gem, and the hotel is so lucky to have her! The rooms were super spacious and spotless, giving our family plenty of comfort. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options, and it made mornings so easy. If I had to mention one small opportunity for improvement, it would be that the pool is quite small. However, everything else far outweighed that, and it didn’t take away from our overall experience. Thank you, SpringHill Suites, and especially Shekira, for making our stay so memorable. We’ll absolutely be back!

My husband and I stayed here for the Cooper Bridge Run in April 2025. We booked our 2 night stay online. Before we arrived I called the hotel directly as I had some questions. Carrie was super helpful with not only hotel questions but gave me info on the upcoming race as well as nearby restaurants and shops. Our check-in was quick and easy. Our room was spotless and fresh. The king bed was super comfy and the linens soft and snuggly. The pillows were fluffy. We slept really well. The lobby area is beautiful as is the breakfast area. This all overlooks the outdoor pool. We did not use the laundry or workout rooms but they looked nice. We wished there had been a safe in the room but it was not big deal. On race day the hotel was prepared for those of us leaving the hotel prior to the start of breakfast and had a table set up in the lobby with waters, gatorade, fruit and various breakfast bars....how nice! We did not use the pool as the water was a bit chilly for us but kids were enjoying it. We did walk to Trader Joes one evening---it is literally next door! We met Carrie and she was just as delightful in person as she was on the phone. All staff we came in contact with were helpful, polite and engaged in our conversations. We will definitely stay here again when our travels bring us to the Charleston area.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and always had a smile on their face. Our room, the lobby, and pool area were spotless. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and had plenty of home cooked and delicious options to choose from, and I just can’t say enough that the staff was exceptional. The location was fantastic. There were plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby and the Isle of Palms beach was a straight shot.

Lovely hotel, so happy we were able to stay here to spend Thanksgiving with friends. Beware that the rooms you reserve online may not be available at the hotel. We have a special circumstance in that we need a roll-in shower accessible room connected to another room, which is what I though we reserved, however, found upon arrival that the roll-in shower accessible room does not connect to the room we requested. What could have been a disaster, was handled with professionalism from everyone, specifically Mary, who ensured that our needs were met, even if not in the way we had planned, still in a way that worked for us. Mary was generous with her time and desire to make it right for us. The entire staff was friendly and helpful while we were there, and the hotel was very comfortable. It is an older property, but it is well kept and charming. In a fantastic location, walkable to shopping and restaurants. This hotel was the 2nd of 3 Hilton properties we stayed on this trip, and by far was the most friendly.

Everything!! We wish that we stayed more than one night and are excited to return for a much longer stay! The room was clean and spacious, breakfast was delicious and had more options than most. Alayne at the front desk was incredible!! She helped us have an amazing first time in Charleston! Her knowledge of the area is impressive and she helped our time be more enjoyable with restaurant and attraction recommendations. Thank you so much!

wonderful breakfast, great view of the Ravenal bridge, quick walk to memorial waterfront park and pier. only complaint is the view from my corner room with harbor view. I was on the 4th floor, and the view of the harbor is terrible, you need to be on the 6th or 7th floor to have a view. We requested an early check in, and I realize they can't always accommodate that request, however our room wasn't ready until 4:45. with that being said our stay here was wonderful, the property was beautiful, the staff friendly, the proximity to Isle of palms beach, and many restaurants, and Shem Creek was great. we plan to return in September , and would highly recommend this property.

Very nice facility, restaurant was great for dinner if you didnt want to get out along with the bar area, had a free evening snack and drink time from 5:30 to 7pm everyday and the breakfast buffet was very good with a lot of great choices. Staff was super friendly and very helpful, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this facility to our friends and family.

The hotel it’s self is lovely, If your looking for quiet and relaxed and to stay in the hotel for food it’s perfect. We didn’t look on the map correctly as we didn’t realise to Charleston its self it’s a 14 minute drive which doesn’t seem a lot but if we knew we would of tried to stay closer to the town ( that’s our fault for not looking). The lady who spoke to us at reception was nice, helpful and approvable which is always good :) If your going to choose a hotel to see Charleston as it’s best, your better off staying closer into the town. But if you would like quiet, relaxed and don’t mind the drive then this hotel is perfect!! The view of the bridge from the front of the hotel is outstanding!! The rooms are big, beds were pretty comfy, well I slept great :)

The room, amazing view of the harbor and the Yorktown carrier. Easy access to downtown and eats. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was great and staff was amazing.

I felt safe staying here as a solo traveler. The hotel was always well staffed. The personnel were friendly and attentive. I love that the hotel is pet friendly. My dog was pretty quiet and content most of our stay. We were placed on a lower floor which made it easier to take the dog for walks. I love that the hotel provides a list of restaurants and bars. The hotel was clean and had modern touches. The breakfast was a great bonus.

This was a great location walking distance to the convention center. The staff was super friendly and helpful! The beds were comfortable. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious. The breakfast bar had a variety and was good hot food.

We stayed here for 5 nights. The front desk staff is amazing. They go above and beyond and will help you in any way possible. The room was clean yet a bit dated. The couch really needed a deep clean. The beds were comfy. The room was quite large. The shower, well the shower, it took literally 5 minutes of wasted water to get it to be even warm. There was no pressure so it took a bit to get the soap off! The breakfast, while lots of choices, was a bit odd. All of the hot food was quite lukewarm to even cool.

Never heard anything outside of our room! So quiet (even being so close to the airport/within the city). Staff members were amazing. Friendly environment. Great value (with parking and breakfast) for price compared to other listings we looked at. Not too far from anything. I’m not a big breakfast person but there was a big variety of breakfast foods. Would definitely stay again!!

Location was perfect for walking 10 minutes into the center of Daniel Island - we walked to dinner and it was beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept like a baby. I loved that the hotel is pet friendly - we were really made to feel like our dog was welcome, rather than an inconvenience. Breakfast was delicious both mornings, parking was ample and shared with the Home2 next door.

This was a lovely hotel- the staff were friendly, the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and it was reasonably priced. The breakfast in the morning was excellent, and the food was tasty. Lara was very helpful, and so was the front desk staff.

Wonderful hotel, delicious breakfast buffet, amazing staff, very clean. Probably the best bed I have ever slept on in a hotel. Shout out to Marc Winter I believe his name is who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and accommodating!

Breakfast was great Room was clean Fitness center and pool were clean and convenient. Staff was friendly courteous and helpful Very easy to walk to the concert venue and small nightlife area. Uber rides to the rest of the city can add up

This was a nice clean hotel in a nice and safe part of town. The pool was clean, breakfast was good. We didn’t really interact with the staff as we did everything with the app but they seemed friendly. The only downside was that there wasn’t a microwave in the room. A suggestion would be to have more towel bars to dry our towels on if you want us to reuse them.

Upon checkin we were greeted with a smile and a fresh baked cookie! The room was clean, modern, nicely furnished, lots of pillows, comfortable beds, great mini coffee/tea bar, mini refrig and a QUIET ROOM! Breakfast was wonderful, eggs, omelets, bacon , sausage biscuits, pancake maker, delicious cinnamon rolls, toast, bagels, muffins, toast, oatmeal, cereal, juices, coffee accompanied by a friendly morning greeting by Roberta!! She was helpful and kind! Wonderful experience!

Great stay for a few days! Very clean, comfortable bed (sheets & duvet were amazing!), friendly staff. Breakfast was fresh each morning, choice of hot food- eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes and other items such as fruit, yogurt, bagels. And of course hot coffee! Convenient location as we could drive right over the bridge & be in downtown Charleston within a few minutes. Also close to sites - we took the Ft. Sumter tour (highly recommend) and also a short drive to Isle of Palms, which was beautiful! Lots of wonderful restaurants all within close proximity to hotel. If you’re a foodie…you MUST visit Charleston/Mt. Pleasant!!!

I could say Everything, but that is not fair. I arrived after midnight due to travel delays. My check-in was alerted, and they welcomed me just right. The bed was so comfortable, and the room was spotless. Oh my, 2 pillows, one soft and the other firm to choose from. The best was unexpected. A Hot Breakfast was advertised. It had everything from grits and oatmeal to Omelets and Bacon and Sausages and Potatoes and Yogurt to even more. The topper was the coffee machine that grinds the coffee before it fills your cup. The icing on this cake was the staff that attended to refilling the foods constantly, keeping the Buffet area spotless and the tables in perfect order. Thanks to ALL of the Staff at this location, I was so very impressed and felt that I got more than expected.

Breakfast was good. Multiple options available and facility was always kept clean. Hotel was full but staff kept breakfast bar supplied and clean. Room was clean and comfortable. Location was perfect for seeing all the sights of Charleston.

We had a great stay overall! The room was clean upon arrival, and housekeeping came by every other day to refresh things, which was much appreciated. The beds were very comfortable, and we all slept well. The only minor downside was the humidity coming from the AC—it made the room feel a bit damp at times. Still, I’d give the room a solid 4 out of 5 stars. The location is fantastic—centrally located with easy access to grocery stores, downtown Charleston, and the beaches. It’s the perfect base for exploring the area. 4.5 stars for location. Breakfast is your standard Holiday Inn Express fare, but what made it stand out was the woman working the breakfast area—she was extremely helpful, kind, and clearly cared about making guests feel welcome. The staff overall were friendly and helpful, earning them a 4.5 out of 5 stars. Would definitely stay here again—especially if they could improve the room humidity just a bit!

The room was clean, the breakfast was decent, one day they had sausage gravy and it was so good. They did a good job soundproofing the hotel because we couldn't hear our neighbors. We stayed here on the 4th of July weekend and the area was quiet, the guests were quiet. I hope the staff and management keep up the good job and keep enforcing those quiet hours so we can stay here again soon and have another positive experience. The hotel has a few shopping stores around, pharmacies and restaurants. The Isle of Palm Beach is 10 minutes away.

The hotel is always clean and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent with lots of options. The staff is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool and the close proximity to Isle of Palms beach and downtown Charleston.

Great small hotel. We stayed on the first floor which was convenient. We also parked near the back door and went in through that entrance which was a plus also. My family only stayed for one night since we were cruising the next day. I reserved this particular room because of the deceiving description “additional living area!” With my family of 5, I was assuming there was a separate sitting area. Well, that was not the case. The additional living area was a small corner near the entrance, that included a toddler table and 2 chairs. We basically used this area for the kids to eat breakfast. Besides that little hiccup everything else was great. The boys enjoyed the bunk beds, the room was spacious, and the access to the outdoor pool from or room was convenient. The continental breakfast was good and had all the essentials you would want or need to start your day. Also, I was able to utilize the “business center/computer area” to print off some last minute documents for our cruise. Overall great accommodations and would stay again because my boys loved the bunk beds and the convenience from the hotel to the port.

We were in town for a concert at Credit One stadium on Daniel Island and we also wnated to our downtown the next day. This hotel was the perfect location. It was very clean. beds were comfy. Staff was nice. Check in was fast and smooth. Breakfast was good. My friend and I and I came in late after the concert and felt very safe. Id stay here again for sure!

Staff were very friendly. We stayed on the first floor, in one of the closest rooms to the lobby, and was surprised at how quiet it was. Reasonably priced, yummy breakfast, clean! 10 minute drive to the beach! We will definitely stay here again.

We were very impressed with the breakfast selections for the price. There were scrambled eggs, bacon sausage, pancakes, french toast, several types of bread for toast, bottled juices, fresh fruit, yogurt, a good assortment of beverages. The room was clean, they had WIFI, the pillows and bed were very comfortable, and a walk in shower. The reception staff were attentive and very friendly, with a welcoming chocolate chip cookie. They had an excellent menu for dinner and a well stocked bar with a very knowledgeable, friendly bartender.

Nice hotel and very friendly staff. Stayed here for a long weekend. No free breakfast but as a diamond member we receive $15 credit for up two people. Breakfast buffet was $15 and had lots of options. Coffee and tea are free during breakfast hours. Short drive to downtown Charleston and Folly’s Beach. Rooms very clean. Gym is tiny and there wasn’t much room for more than 4 people.

This was our first stay at this hotel. It will likely not be our last. The same owners own both this Hilton property and the Marriott TownePlace Suites adjacent. These two hotels are nicely nestled in a heavily landscaped and lush environment that is quite attractive and well kept. We were so pleased with the decor and quiet quality of the hotel. Our two room suite was well appointed and the full bath was huge with both walk in shower and adjacent large tub. Two tvs always helps. The second half bath was wonderful and also good sized. The king bed amazing! The pool is small but intimate and ok. This location is perfect with all that Mt Pleasant has to offer minutes away and Isle of Palms Beach a 13 minute drive via beautiful lush roadways without getting on a mqjor highway. My only real complaint was only the adjacent hotel had car chargers and they were only Tesla. I ordered an adapter and had it delivered for my Jeep 4xe to be able to use it. A regular EV/Hybrid set of chargers on the side parking of the Doubletree would have been so helpful. Just a delightful stay with good room value for the price. We are fans!

My daughter and I went to Charleston for a girls weekend. We allowed HotWire to find us a deal on a hotel and ended up with this one. We were so pleasantly surprised. It was clean, everyone was friendly, the beds were comfortable, and the hotel was quiet. One disappointment once we got the information from HotWire was that it was not a free breakfast but were then suprised that they were offering guests free breakfast while we were there. Great proximity to Mount Pleasant shopping, IOP, Sullivan's Island, and downtown Charleston.

Overall we had a great stay here, staff was friendly and helpful, it was a convenient area for both Mt. Pleasant and Downtown Charleston. Room 409 needs the magnet on the shower door replaced but that's the only issue we had in our room and we didn't feel the need to do anything about it because it wasn't a big deal. We had the breakfast a couple times, which was fine. And our dinner there one night was also good. Would stay again!

My husband and I liked everything about our stay. The hotel was clean and offered many things like a fitness room, free coffee at all times, snacks drinks and other helpful items were available also. The entire staff from the front desk to housekeeping were so sweet and welcoming. The room was clean and cozy and they also provided nice shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. The location was perfect for us too. It wasn't directly in the chaos of Mt Pleasant but a few minutes away from everything. 10 out 10 hotel for sure. Breakfast was also AMAZING. The staff really does go above and beyond with everything they do.

Very solid Hampton Inn. Desk staff was professional and nice. Also responsive to needs. I requested housecleaning and had an issue with bathroom sink drain. Everything was done as promised. Had two rooms and they were quiet and clean. No issues. Staff at hotel was engaged and you could tell. When you enter hotel is smells so clean. Breakfast gets busy was kept up and attendants were nice. Ample parking and safe area and very convenient to the Charleston attractions. Hotel gets very busy but does a great job handling the flow. A couple minor things. Remote window shade in one room didn't work, and my friend reported that the room telephone was filthy. Also tv channels very limited. Kudos to still have soap bars in the bathrooms Great job front desk ladies and Mr. Fabian. Hope to return soon.

The hotel itself is clean and beautiful. Great area, just over the bridge from Charleston. Close to everything. Check in was quick and Alexis is awesome. Great recommendations for dinner and a very friendly person to chat with. The room is a little smaller than a typical room but it’s still plenty of room, don’t let that discourage you from staying here. The pool was clean and easy to access. The breakfast had a lot to choose from, best breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was great, staff was kind and friendly, and the hotel SCREAMS CLEAN AND SMELLS AMAZING!! I consistently come back here over and over because it is located in such a wonderful area close to many things in Charleston Downtown and Mt Pleasant. I cannot say enough GREAT things about this property. Thank you to everyone who works there making this such a CLEAN, WONDERFUL, FRIENDLY stay every single time.

From the time we walked in everyone was very helpful and helpful and had a smile on their face. Very clean and smells good! Breakfast was outstanding. Breakfast was real good and hot! Everything was clean! Quite all the time we were there their. Outstanding! I would give it a 10! Thanks to the whole staff.

I booked two rooms as we were traveling with friends. As we entered the hotel, my friend exclaimed, "oh, it smells so clean in here!" and it did. The hotel was very clean. There was a slight mix-up with the rooms since I had reserved a handicapped accessible rooms and regular room. It took a couple of minutes to get those swapped and the right people in the right room. The rooms were spacious and clean. The kitchenette has a full size refrigerator, stove top and microwave along with dishes and cookware. It all came in handy for quick, in-room meals. The roll-in shower had just enough slope to keep the water in the shower and not all over the bathroom. The beds were comfortable. One of my faves were all of the available USB outlets to charge all of the phones, iPads and other devices for the entire family. The hot breakfast changed daily. Every morning some type of egg and meat was served, along with prepackaged waffles, muffins, oatmeal, bread, bagels, muffins cereal, fruit and juices, coffee and milk. There was just enough variety, so as not to be boring. The pet walking area is on the side of the hotel beside to the road. It is well lit. If in the Charleston/Mt Pleasant area we would definitely stay here again.

This is our first time staying here. We stayed in a king suite with pull out sofa. The room was very spacious and clean. the Kitchen has an apartment size refrigerator. there was a 2-burner flat surface electric stove top. (no oven) there is a big microwave and a toaster and a 12-cup coffee maker. There is also a small dishwasher and sink. there is a variety of dishes and pots and pans. The bathroom has a walk-in shower that has one Payne of glass while the other half of the shower has no glass. The free breakfast had a variety of cereals, fruit, juice, yogurt, coffee & milk. The hot food on our first day was egg & cheese omelet and turkey Canadian bacon, breakfast potatoes. the second morning the meat was sausage patties with fried eggs. there are muffins, prewrapped waffles, and bread/bagels/English muffins. The staff was very attentive to our needs and very courteous.

Our one night stay was just perfect! The hotel was clean and our king bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was hot and available. The hotel is located near restaurants and shopping and is very accessible. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again and recommend

Close enough to Charleston and surrounding attractions but not in the heart of things, which was perfect for us as a family of five who needed more space than a traditional hotel room. Fresh, clean and convenient. The breakfast was good and the room spacious and very clean. Super express check in and check out. Safe place near Walmart if you need to grab few things. Close to the historic city. I totally recommend this place.

The property was clean and well cared for. The few staff members I had contact with (front desk, during breakfast, housekeeping) were pleasant and professional. The room temperature was set at just the right temp for me. No strange musty, stinky, or pet smells in the room. Fabulous! The bed, pillows, and comforters were so comfy; I had no problems sleeping. There were extra in the closet also. No need to call for some if I needed them. The bathroom and room (king bed with sofa) were very, very clean - yes, the carpet and flooring too. The choices for breakfast were what I expected (western omelet, waffles, fruit, juices, coffee, tea, cereal, grits, sausage patties, various pastries, and a few others), but it was plenty to choose from. I didn't visit the pool or exercise facilities as this was just a one night stay. However, I will be in Charleston over the next few years and will be sure to return to this Hampton Inn. It's not far at all from downtown, offers free parking, free breakfast, and there are plenty of resturants nearby to choose from.

The care and hospitality I received at this property was unbelievable. From the General Manager who assisted with a mixup with my reservation due to my flight cancellation, to the breakfast staff with their warm and welcoming smiles each morning, to the housekeeping staff for the meticulously clean rooms, and to the front desk staff for providing assistance when needed, thank you for making my stay one of my best. The hotel amenities were far superior to anything I could have imagined; the welcoming and comfortable lobby, the clean and well appointed fitness center, the pool area, and the landscaping. Everything was as hospitality should be. And the General Manager on hand when I checked out was the final perfect touch. I will definitely stay at your hotel again when my travels take me to Charleston. P.S. Your coffee was great; hot and strong, just the way I like it!

Overall this Hampton Inn is doing a competent job. Lobby is welcoming. Very clean everywhere. My room was clean and in good condition. Internet was down the first morning I woke up but I made do with my phone hotspot. Nice decor on property. Bed was comfortable. Public areas are in great shape. I did not try breakfast so I can't comment on that. Location convenient enough if you are a tourist. I was here to stay near family so it was very convenient. Rude, brusque "greeting" at front desk when I arrived: it was really out of the ordinary for a hotel front desk person. The other employee I encountered was very pleasant.

I have had an amazing experience at every Hampton, which is why I chose this hotel. Wonderful staff, clean, welcoming. I traveled with a friend who has high anxiety in hotels, and she felt safe here. Bonus: at breakfast I filled a water bottle in the water part of the juice machine, but it did not fit well because of the tray. A staff member saw, and when I came back with another water bottle she came over with a big smile and removed the tray to make it easier to fill. This was a tiny gesture that made a huge impact. Thank you for having amazing people.

I loved this hotel the moment I walked in. All the fun colored, differently shaped and comfortable furniture and nooks provide a welcomed experience. The lobby also features a pool table and some board games. Sadly, past visitors have not taken care of the games and hardly any are fully intact. The indoor pool is on the first floor, as is the gym. These amenities are sure to satisfy all family members. Our room was a good size for 3 people with two large suitcases. It could be described as a bit bare bones, with the exterior closet space, decorative wall hooks and open-style furniture, but it's evident that these are the clean lines the designers were going for. There is a mini fridge in the room, but not a microwave. There's microwave, for guests' use in the lobby. We had take out dinner in the lobby the first night and the large tables made our meal feel more comfortable than if we'd had eaten in a restaurant. This hotel is about 20 minutes outside of downtown Charleston. It was perfect for us and included free parking. If we ever visit Charleston again we would definitely stay at this Tru by Hilton.

Great for quick overnight if traveling. Very clean. Beautiful and inviting lobby area. Only complaint is that at the 24/7 coffee bar was not hot. Lukewarm. Room was minimal as no microwave or coffee pot. But perfect if those things aren’t important to you. Bed was comfy. Staff were pleasant and helpful answering questions. Would definitely stay there again before traveling. Great price. Close to airport.

The lobby was such a fun hub for gathering! Every single morning afternoon and evening the lobby was hopping with family friendly folks. The breakfast was good and plentiful everyday and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Great stay. Room was large enoigh for 3 people and 2 large suitcases. Shower was great. I love the eco friendly shampoo, conditioner and body wash bottles. They also have squeeze bottles of hand soap and body lotion. Breakfast items are served on paper goods, so there's a lot going to the dump to that end. Breakfast was great on both days. They change up the style of eggs so it doesnt get boring. Pool table in the lobby was a big hit. My son and husband spent a lot of time playing. The board games have not been taken care of from past guests, so that was a bummer. The pool looked refreshing, but we didnt use it. Lobby had a lot of seating options and very many outlets for phones and devices. The furniture has definitely been loved as there were a lot of stains. Not sure how people spill things and dont clean up after themselves... We received a text message from Nick asking how our stay was going. On that tjread you can continue to communicate any needs you may have. All in all, this was a great 2-nightstay. If ever in the are we will stay here again.

I booked this place on line as it was centrally located to the places we wanted to see while in the Charleston area and it did not disappoint! The rooms are clean and spacious. Beds with good linens and very comfortable. Nice sized TV, fridge and microwave. Everything clean and well maintained. Towels were big and thick and the toiletries were good quality. Plenty of hot water in the shower too! The breakfast was fresh and hot. Teh female attendant was engaging and kept up with refills There were eggs, potatoes bacon, make it yourself waffles, hot and cold cereals and a variety of breads. Coffee was good and hot, juices fresh and cold. All of the staff we encountered were engaging, polite and very nice with the one exception of the afternoon front desk female... Overall place was clean and safe and a very convenient location especially to the patriots museum which we found to be so very interesting. Its a short drive into Charleston proper and an easy drive to I95. But truly the staff was so nice it made our stay. If you're looking for a reasonably priced place to stay during your visit this is the place to be. To be honest I didn't expect it to be quite as nice as it was for the price. But from the start of our visit until we left it exceeded our expectations.

This hotel was amazing. The room was cool, quiet and clean. The bathroom had some amazing citrus shampoo, conditioner and lotion. There is a small pond by the hotel that had a sign warning people of possible alligators. The breakfast was great! They had bacon, eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage, grits, cereal, muffins, fresh fruit, waffle makers, yogurt, bagels and more. Breakfast is on the second floor and can be crowded, so we ate in our room. We did find a small bullfrog in the hallway but we just realized him back outside. Staff was friendly and welcoming. This hotel was very close to the Yorktown and sullivans island. Sullivans island is the only beach that does NOT require payment to park for the day. Folly beach and Isle of the Palms cost at least $25 to park.

This hotel was convenient to all the sites we intend to visit. It was quiet, comfortable, and clean. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast area was one of the best we have ever experienced. The lady (Necee, pardon the spelling) was very nice and new how to put on a hot breakfast that was cooked perfectly and not greasy . The front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. The only improvement would be to add grab bars in the tubs, which were very deep and difficult to get in and out for a shower.

I've been making annual trips to Charleston for a decade, and this hotel is always part of my plans. It has an ideal location in Mount Pleasant, just over the bridge from downtown, and in fact there's a stairwell that goes directly from the property onto the bridge walkway. It's also been consistently clean and comfortable. My stay was in room #317, which is one of their larger two-queen suites with living area and two TVs. The suite has a sectional-style sofa, which is ideal if meeting people while in town. The bathtub is nice and wide, and the trash cans are of a good size - the seemingly minor things that can still make a stay more enjoyable. I had no issues at all during my stay. One minor note - there's no freezer section for the in-room fridge, so plan accordingly. This hotel has always had one of the better hotel breakfasts, and that hasn't changed. Nor has the breakfast lady, who's been working here since I began my yearly trips and who rememebers me from all my past visits. The staff all around is friendly and helpful, in fact. The Comfort Inn & Suites Patriots Point has always been a clean and reliable hotel to stay at for my yearly trips to the Charleston area. Thankfully, that hasn't changed, and it will continue to serve a key role for my future visits to the city.

The staff was GREAT! super friendly. We were able to check in at 2 instead of 3 the room was huge and the beds are firm but very comfortable. The shower was great! Great water pressure and hot water and the shower curtain curves out so you have plenty of room when showering. There was a mini fridge and a microwave in the room which was super convenient to keep our toddlers Milk and warm bottles up for naps and bedtime. The location is great, short distance to sullivan island and not far from Folly. The breakfast had tons of options and it was pretty quiet while we were there, not a bunch of noise in the hallways or anything it was very peaceful.

The location is in the heart of the King St restaurant scene and a short 10 minute walk to the posh shopping along southern King. Easy stroll 20-30 minutes to City Hall and historic walking tour, promenade and market. The hotel facilities are clean, modern and rooms are spacious. The hotel is in a courtyard shielded from the noise of King st by another building which made it feel secluded. There’s a rooftop bar (Pour) that offers nice views over the Charleston skyline. The free breakfast buffet offers the usual free breakfast fare. The area is kept clean and well stocked (though, in truth we just got coffee each morning)…they offer a coffee station all day in the lobby.

Very clean, modern, comfortable hotel about a mile from the French Quarter. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable and the complimentary breakfast buffet was excellent!

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet served every morning had a good variety to choose from. There was a stop for the free bus within a short walking distance. There are a few nearby restaurants, but you have to walk a bit to find the best variety of food and shopping. This hotel is in the “bar district” so I would recommend staying more in the middle of the historic district if you want to be closer to shopping, restaurants and the waterfront. The only other complaints I have are that one of the elevators was out of order the whole week we were there, and the lighting in the bathroom and by the full length mirror was not conducive to putting on makeup or fixing hair.

Rooftop bar was nice....bartenders were friendly. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was cold each morning which was disappointing. Shower needs updating and water was cold one of the four mornings. Valer parking is managed by an outside company...expensive and they did jot lock our car doors. Luckily, our car send us a notice when the doors are unlocked so we contacted the valet to rectify it. Location was convenient to shops, bars, and restaurants but be prepared to walk.

Roll-in shower bathroom was very accessible and spacious. Here are the features (some of which I didn't need) but still very important for others. Bed not too high. Space under box spring for the use of a hoyer lift. Knees fit under sinks. Very spacious room. Roll-in shower. There was no shower bench in the shower but I wouldn't be surprised if you had one upon request. Excellent work! Also free handicapped parking next door in public garage. Free breakfast was the best I've ever seen.

We love the rooms. Especially the suite w jacuzzi. My sons autistic so having room for him to stim is awesome

Perfect location, out of the city bustle but close enough to go to and from quickly. Amazing staff that always had a smile and was so personable. We will absolutely be staying here every time we go to Charleston. We were upgraded for free due to a previous toilet issue in our original room (happened prior to us getting there and had been fixed but not tested). The room we got had double queen beds instead of the king but it was HUGE and had a jacuzzi tub 😁 it made our 7 nights fantastic. Every single night after walking miles in Charleston, that jacuzzi was the answer to my aching legs.

Driving up from Savannah, we found this 3 star hotel relatively easily and parked for free in the amply sized car park. It is fairly well located close to a number of highways (e.g. I 526) with easy access to Charleston and the surroundings. We were greeted by a very friendly lady, Karen who kindly offered us a lovely, large corner suite on the 5th floor. We had an excellent view of the main Savannah highway up here. The suite had two comfortable queen beds, with a sofa and armchair in a partly screened off area. There was one large flat screen TV. As to be expected there was a tea/coffee making machine in the room, a fridge, microwave and a good, separate bathroom with a shower in the tub. There were enough electrical sockets for all our electronics and the free WiFi was good & effective. The room rate included a free breakfast, but to be honest it wasn't that interesting and we tended to skip it. In the evening Karen seemed to be holding the fort on her own. She tried to be helpful to us in, for example, making recommendations on where to eat, but the poor lady seemed, at times to be quite harassed as she prepared for the evening "audit" whatever that was. The 5 star rating here goes because of her! All in all, this was a reasonable place to use as a base for a couple of days to explore Charleston.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay because of multiple factors. All 5 staff at the front desk were exceptional. Helped us in to many ways to mention. The gentleman (sorry I forgot your name), Karen, and Latoya as well a Bill and "Q" (???) come to mind. Room service equally exceptional. The younger miss made it a point to go out of her way many times to provide fresh towels and such as we were there 10 days and didn't require daily room service. Nice breakfast with many choices and variety somewhat changes on breakfast meats at least every other day. Coffee is always available 24/7. Perfect location to travel to multiple parts of the Greater Charleston area as it separate highways to here or there are withing walking distance for each direction. Will of course be back. 2nd stay in two years and both for 10 days... or more.

Welcoming and courteous staff. Great location just 15 minutes from downtown Charleston with plenty of restaurants near by. The room was spotless and smelled very clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Excellent hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, grits, waffles, cereal, juices and they had coffee all day long along with ice cold lemon infused water. This will be my only place to stay in Charleston!

The place was in a perfect spot. Target and some bars and restaurants are nearby. Our room was newly renovated so it was so clean. Breakfast was good as well, daily eggs and different meats everyday. Susan, who checked us in, was so friendly and helpful. Though, the pillows were old and flat, and beddings were worn out but our 5-night stay was still great. Would definitely come back.

We have stayed at the Homewood Suites by Hilton Charleston - Mt. Pleasant at least 16 times over the years and this mornings breakfast was phenomenal! They offered many types of dishes and really expanded the food choices. The people who work here are all very friendly and helpful. The room setups are spacious and super clean. The pool is wonderful and the ease of getting to the beach is perfect. We highly recommend this hotel.

Everyone who was working was friendly and efficient. The hotel was clean and decorated nicely. Breakfast was great. Each day we were there, we had different options. Each day, there were waffles that you can make with strawberries. There was bread, bagels, muffins, or Danish. The pastries were cooked perfectly. They were not prepackaged. Each day, you have a choice of coffee, milk, OJ, apple juice, water, hot chocolate, and tea. There were apples, bananas, yogurt, and granola also offered. One day, we had a delicious fritatta and sausage. One day, we had sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits, and gravy. They also offered condiments like peanut butter, jelly, syrup, hot sauce, salsa, and shredded cheese. The bed was softer than I liked but in good condition. The room, linens, and towels were clean and unstained. You have a full-size fridge and microwave that can be used, along with a small 2 burner stove top. There are also cups, plates, and silverware available for your use. If we come back to this area we will definitely stay here again.

Upon arrival, I was told the rooms had been recently renovated. I have never stayed here before so I can't compare the difference, but I will say the rooms were great! The staff were very accommodating and helpful! Hotel was clean and the room was very clean as well. Everything we needed was supplied in the room kitchen as well! The pool area was lovely and there was a nice grill for those looking to cookout. The hotel is located in a great area and is close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. The only minor issue I had was that the pillows were very soft (great for those who love a cloud-like pillow) and I had to stack 4 on top of one another. Not a big deal though, as I will just bring a firm pillow from home on my next stay at this hotel. I will definitely stay at this hotel on our next trip to the area!

Stayed here for 2 nights in June 2025. Rooms were spacious and very clean. The property looks to be recently updated and the grounds are well maintained. It’s a pet friendly hotel but you would never know it, as there was never any oder. Great hot and cold breakfast options and the staff was very friendly. Would recommend this property 100%

The hotel is centrally located in the heart of downtown Charleston. There is great food options within a 10-15 min walk. Lots of bars and lively venues on King street and more in the surrounding area. There is parking next door, although it has gotten pricier since we started coming to CHS. The staff are always helpful and solve problems. The one bed suite offers plenty of space with a breakfast bar and kitchenette/fridge perfect for reheating leftovers, snacks and keeping drink cold for the beach. The rooftop beer bar is great for a quick pitstop on weekend before and after dinner. All in all, a great hotel. Great value for money!

Very nicely appointed room. There is a living space, kitchen and bedroom. The bed was very comfortable and the room was extremely clean. The shower was great with a large shower head and a foot rest for shaving (I almost never see this in hotels). Parking was about $33 a day but at least it was very close and safe. Hot breakfast was good and the breakfast room was large and clean. There is a rooftop bar but we didn't get a chance to go. I would definitely recommend this property.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Hotel in Charleston, SC, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Check-in was seamless, and the front desk team was incredibly accommodating, providing recommendations for local dining and attractions. Darnell was especially outstanding! He helped with any and all questions regarding our stay! The room was immaculate—spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with all the modern amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally cozy, ensuring a restful night’s sleep, and the views of Charleston were simply stunning. Housekeeping did a fantastic job keeping everything pristine throughout our stay. The hotel’s location is another major plus. It’s perfectly situated near historic sites, fantastic restaurants, and charming shops, making it easy to explore everything Charleston has to offer. One of the highlights of my stay was the on-site dining. Overall, our experience at the Hyatt Hotel Charleston exceeded expectations in every way. The combination of luxury, comfort, and top-tier service made my visit truly special. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Charleston—We can’t wait to return!

The hotel was located near lots of shops & restaurants. It was also within a 10 minute driving distance of every attraction we wanted to visit. All of the staff were very friendly & helpful. One of the sweet girls at the front desk (I think her name was Danielle?) went out of her way to make our evening better after some mishaps (nothing to do with the hotel) & the bartender in the lobby bar made excellent drinks! The breakfast was good, the room was clean & a decent size, and the property was well-kept. We will be back!

I highly recommend staying at the Hyatt House. Hotel was exceptional starting with the friendly staff, room was spacious and clean, great breakfast included, and the location was convenient to everything in the City. We had a wonderful experience!

Perfect stay! The pool is small but comfortable with the right amount of shade and sun. Perfect for hanging out and lounging! Rooms are clean, beds comfortable (alittle small side for 2 but functional), refrigerator, microwave, and air all worked excellent. Allows dogs and has a great place to walk them. Within 10 miles of all paces you want to be. Staff was super friendly and did a great job taking care of us for 5 days. Breakfast is eggs, meat, fruit, muffins, yogart, cereal, juice, coffee, and toast. The basics and it works. You get more than you pay for here! Would definitely stay again!

We stayed here for 6 nights and it was the perfect location for visiting downtown Charleston and Patriots Point. The whole place was very clean. Everyone was friendly and happy to help. Breakfast was good with cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, bagels and mini muffins. The bed and pillows were good and the sheets were soft (but not worn out soft). The towels were clean and like new. The lighting was good and lots of outlets. We had a comfortable upholstered chair plus an office chair. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone coming to Charleston.

This hotel has been updated. The rooms are fresh, new, and clean. The air-conditioner was very responsive. There were plenty of clean towels. The complimentary breakfast was basic yet hot and fresh. There is plenty of parking and the neighborhood feels very safe. The location is excellent with easy access to 17 both north and south. I was able to enjoy a solid night's sleep.

The staff was incredibly helpful and nice. Rooms were safe and comfortable, quiet and clean. Breakfast was great too.

Comfortable beds in decent size rooms. The breakfast was quite good: yoghurt, fruit, cereals, fresh waffles, omelet coffee and juice. It is convenient located, just across the bridge from downtown Charleston and a short drive from the beach.

I was worried about our stay as the reviews were mixed but we had a WONDERFUL stay! I travel a ton and would not hesitate to stay here again. The hotel was clean and in a GREAT location. Our room was clean, did not appear to be outdated. The beds and pillows were comfortable. We received a bag of water bottles and a cookie at check-in. The lobby has water and lemonade 24/7. I would say the area around the hotel was not great but that is everywhere in downtown Charleston, even King Street. There is a lot of construction, liter, dirt, etc. However, we felt safe walking around the city! Honestly, it was a great location and room for a very fair price! PROS: Great location--Meeting Street has lots of places to eat. 1 block from King Street for shopping, restaurants and bars!! Couples trip. Hotel was clean, great location, close to shopping and restaurants. Hotel also had a restaurant that was open for breakfast and dinner. A bar which was open in the evenings . Staff was was extremely friendly and when we needed more towels they were quick to have them sent to our room. Valet parking attendant Jesus was professional Friendly and quick to get your vehicle for you if needed. Hotel also has an outside pool but needs more lounge chairs.

Great last minute stay in modern hotel located near famous King Street. Was a Marriott. Spacious room & great king bed with tiny balcony ( not needed ) no view ( not needed ). Valet parking charge of US$35 overnight. Staff made this stage memorable - very helpful especially front desk receptionist Zhane who helped a couple of times with charging issues with phone & electric toothbrush using international chargers. The bar there offers a happy hour cocktail for US$7 plus tips etc - great drink and bartender.

The hotel was very comfortable and welcoming. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Kier at the bar was awesome, very attentive and friendly! The valets were so fast. I don't know how they stood outside in that heat and humidity (July). The restaurant was empty so I was a little concerned when I ordered, but my food was delicious. I would definitely recommend.

My girls were in love with the fun lobby chairs. The at was the highlight of the hotel. The vibe is cool, the pool was great. Food: The breakfast buffet was good, the avacado toast not so much. Cleanliness: The towels were clean but had some sort of odd fibers on them. Overall the hotel was clean but needs a great deep cleaning. The front lobby rug was stained the baseboards in the entire hotel needed a good scrubbing. The front lobby had a great scent but the room on the other hand not so much. The hallway leading to our room had stains all throughout. Friendly: The staff was very polite and helpful. Safety: the gas station across the street was very sketchy and I did not feel comfortable walking there with my kids. One block over and you are all good.
